To investigate the impact of the ten-year fishing ban on fish community structure and diversity, this study conducted fish resource surveys in four sections of the middle Yangtze River—Zhijiang, Jianli, Yueyang, and Huangshi—during the spring and autumn seasons from 2022 to 2024. A total of 91 species belonging to 15 families and 10 orders of fish were investigated. Cyprinidae fish are the most abundant (59 species, 64.84%), with lake-type fish (47.25%) and omnivorous fish (65.93%) being the predominant ecological types. Relative Importance Index (IRI) analysis identified eight dominant species: silver carp, bighead carp, crucian carp, grass carp, silver bream, snakehead, shortjaw goby, and yellow catfish, predominantly medium-to-large economic fish. In 2024, 72 fish species were monitored in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, representing an increase of 10 species compared to 2022, while the average catch per unit effort (CPUE) rose by 11.35% to 10.40 kg per haul. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index remained relatively stable (3.06—3.22). The abundance/biomass comparison curve indicated low disturbance in the fish communities. Cluster and NMDS analyses separated the fish community into two distinct clusters: Zhijiang formed one cluster, while Jianli, Yueyang, and Huangshi formed another. Following the implementation of the 10-year fishing ban in the Yangtze River, CPUE showed an upward trend. Key fish resources such as the four major carp species and croaker recovered relatively quickly, indicating phased success of the ban. However, the diversity index remained relatively stable, suggesting that species diversity recovery is a long-term process. These findings provide scientific support for evaluating the effectiveness of the fishing ban and dynamically adjusting related policies.

为了解十年禁渔对鱼类群落结构及多样性影响, 本研究于2022—2024年春、秋季在长江中游枝江、监利、岳阳和黄石4个江段开展了鱼类资源调查。共调查到鱼类10目15科91种, 以鲤科鱼类最多(59种, 64.84%), 生态类型以喜湖沼型鱼类(47.25%)和杂食性鱼类(65.93%)为主。相对重要性指数(IRI)分析显示, 优势种为鲢、鳙、鳊、鲂、银鲴、蛇鮈、短颌鲚和瓦氏黄颡鱼8种, 以中大型经济鱼类为主。2024年, 长江中游监测到鱼类72种, 种类数比2022年增加10种; 单位捕捞努力量渔获量(CPUE)均值为10.40 (kg/网次), 比2022年上升11.35%; Shannon-Wiener多样性指数相对稳定(3.06—3.22)。丰度/生物量比较曲线表明长江中游鱼类群落受干扰程度较小。Cluster和NMDS的多变量分析将长江中游鱼类群落分为两个特征类群: 枝江为一类群, 监利、岳阳和黄石为另一类群。在长江实施十年禁渔后, 长江中游CPUE呈上升趋势, 四大家鱼、鳤等重要鱼类资源恢复相对较快, 禁渔取得了阶段性成效, 但多样性指数相对稳定, 物种多样性的恢复是一个长期过程。本研究结果可为科学评估禁渔效果、动态调整禁渔政策提供支撑。

为了解十年禁渔对鱼类群落结构及多样性影响, 本研究于2022—2024年春、秋季在长江中游枝江、监利、岳阳和黄石4个江段开展了鱼类资源调查。共调查到鱼类10目15科91种, 以鲤科鱼类最多(59种, 64.84%), 生态类型以喜湖沼型鱼类(47.25%)和杂食性鱼类(65.93%)为主。相对重要性指数(IRI)分析显示, 优势种为鲢、鳙、鳊、鲂、银鲴、蛇鮈、短颌鲚和瓦氏黄颡鱼8种, 以中大型经济鱼类为主。2024年, 长江中游监测到鱼类72种, 种类数比2022年增加10种; 单位捕捞努力量渔获量(CPUE)均值为10.40 (kg/网次), 比2022年上升11.35%; Shannon-Wiener多样性指数相对稳定(3.06—3.22)。丰度/生物量比较曲线表明长江中游鱼类群落受干扰程度较小。Cluster和NMDS的多变量分析将长江中游鱼类群落分为两个特征类群: 枝江为一类群, 监利、岳阳和黄石为另一类群。在长江实施十年禁渔后, 长江中游CPUE呈上升趋势, 四大家鱼、鳤等重要鱼类资源恢复相对较快, 禁渔取得了阶段性成效, 但多样性指数相对稳定, 物种多样性的恢复是一个长期过程。本研究结果可为科学评估禁渔效果、动态调整禁渔政策提供支撑。

To investigate the impact of the ten-year fishing ban on fish community structure and diversity, this study conducted fish resource surveys in four sections of the middle Yangtze River—Zhijiang, Jianli, Yueyang, and Huangshi—during the spring and autumn seasons from 2022 to 2024. A total of 91 species belonging to 15 families and 10 orders of fish were investigated. Cyprinidae fish are the most abundant (59 species, 64.84%), with lake-type fish (47.25%) and omnivorous fish (65.93%) being the predominant ecological types. Relative Importance Index (IRI) analysis identified eight dominant species: silver carp, bighead carp, crucian carp, grass carp, silver bream, snakehead, shortjaw goby, and yellow catfish, predominantly medium-to-large economic fish. In 2024, 72 fish species were monitored in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, representing an increase of 10 species compared to 2022, while the average catch per unit effort (CPUE) rose by 11.35% to 10.40 kg per haul. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index remained relatively stable (3.06—3.22). The abundance/biomass comparison curve indicated low disturbance in the fish communities. Cluster and NMDS analyses separated the fish community into two distinct clusters: Zhijiang formed one cluster, while Jianli, Yueyang, and Huangshi formed another. Following the implementation of the 10-year fishing ban in the Yangtze River, CPUE showed an upward trend. Key fish resources such as the four major carp species and croaker recovered relatively quickly, indicating phased success of the ban. However, the diversity index remained relatively stable, suggesting that species diversity recovery is a long-term process. These findings provide scientific support for evaluating the effectiveness of the fishing ban and dynamically adjusting related policies.

长江中游从湖北宜昌至江西湖口, 全长950 km, 流域面积68×104 km2[1]。长江中游河床比较和缓, 江面宽阔, 沙洲众多, 良好的水文条件和充足的饵料生物为鱼类等水生生物提供了优良的索饵场、越冬场和产卵场[2]。然而, 长江上各类水利工程的修建阻碍了鱼类的洄游通道, 加之水域污染和长期的过度捕捞, 导致长江渔业资源严重衰退 [35]。为了更好地保护长江水生生物资源, 修复和保护长江生态系统, 我国发布了《农业农村部关于长江流域重点水域禁渔范围和时间的通告》[6], 并于2021年1月1日启动了“十年禁渔”计划, 是我国在渔业资源保护领域的重要举措。有研究表明, 长江禁渔政策的实施对资源恢复效果显著, 长江鱼类资源量得到一定程度的恢复[7, 8], 但有关长江禁渔以来中游江段鱼类资源的恢复效果尚缺乏较为系统的研究报道。
长江的群落结构和生物多样性是群落生态学研究中非常重要的两个方面, 提供了关于群落健康和生态系统功能的关键信息[9]。鱼类处在河流生态系统食物链的顶端, 鱼类群落结构及其多样性和稳定性对于评估河流生态系统的健康与否具有重要的科学意义[10]。鱼类群落结构变化是对人为影响及水域环境变化的响应, 其演变过程不仅可能导致渔业功能的退化, 也会使水域生态系统失去自我调控的重要功能, 因此保持特定水域鱼类群落结构的合理性是长江渔业管理与生态系统恢复的关键[11]
本研究基于2022—2024年春秋季长江中游鱼类监测数据, 分析长江禁渔后鱼类群落结构动态变化, 旨在查明禁渔初期阶段长江鱼类资源的恢复特征与效果, 为长江鱼类资源修复和长期管理政策的制定提供科学依据, 为长江生态系统的保护和恢复提供参考。
在长江中游枝江、监利、岳阳、黄石段设置4个调查站位, 于2022—2024年春(4—5月)、秋(9—10月)开展鱼类资源调查, 站位设置详见图 1。调查网具使用三层复合刺网(长50.00 m, 高2.00 m, 网目尺寸2a分别为2.00、6.00、11.00和12.50 cm, a表示网眼边长)和虾笼(长18.00 m, 高0.33 m, 宽0.45 m, 网目尺寸2a为1.00 cm)[12], 调查期间, 在各调查站位每日以串联方式分别放置2—3套定置刺网和2条定置地笼, 每次调查连续开展10d。其中, 定置刺网布置于各调查站位沿岸带或洲滩, 每日作业时长14h (4:00 pm—翌日6:00 am); 虾笼布设在近岸浅水区域, 记录(体长、全长、体重), 对测量完的鱼类样本采取活体放生, 死亡鱼类无害化掩埋处理。每日作业时长24h。在调查期间, 参照《中国动物志−硬骨鱼纲−鲤形目(上卷)》《中国动物志−硬骨鱼纲−鲤形目(中卷)》《中国动物志−硬骨鱼纲−鲤形目(下卷)》《中国动物志−硬骨鱼纲−鲇形目》《中国淡水鱼类检索》[1317]对渔获物鉴定到种, 测量、记录鱼类生物学数据。
资源量估算  以单位捕获努力渔获量(CPUE)作为相对资源量的评价参数[18]。将刺网与虾笼的渔获物共同纳入统计, 并以每网次渔获重量(kg/网次)作为CPUE的计算单位。计算公式:

式中, C刺网C虾笼分别为同一采样点刺网与虾笼的渔获总重量(kg), N为该点位两种网具的总投放网次数。
优势种  以Pinkas相对重要性指数(Index of relative importance, IRI)表征群落优势种, 计算公式[19]:

式中, IRI为相对重要性指数, N为第i种鱼的尾数占总尾数的百分比(%), W为第i种鱼的重量占总质量的百分比(%), F为第i种鱼出现次数占总调查次数的百分比(%)。将IRI≥500的物种定为优势种, 100≤IRI<500的物种定为常见种, 10≤IRI<100的物种定为一般种, IRI<10的物种定为罕见种。
生态类型  对调查鱼类进行生态类型划分, 按迁移的习性不同, 可分为喜湖沼型、喜河流型、河海洄游型和江湖洄游型4种类型; 按食性不同, 可划分为杂食性、肉食性和植食性3种类型[20]
群落物种多样性  实验采用Shannon-Wiener多样性指数($ {H}{'} $)、Simpson优势度指数($ {D}{{'}} $)、Pielou均匀度指数($ {E}{{'}} $)、Margalef丰富度指数($ {F}{'} $)[21, 22]来分析长江中游干流鱼类群落物种多样性状况。计算公式:
(1) Shannon-Wiener多样性指数($ {H}{'} $)

式中, Pi为群落中第i个种的个体数占总个体数的比例, H'为群落实际物种多样性指数, S为总物种数, N为总个体数。
鱼类种类组成相似性  本研究采用β多样性指标中的Jaccard’s指数(I)对研究区域间鱼类种类组成相似性进行分析, 计算公式[2325]:

式中, a为区域A的物种数, b为区域B的物种数, j为两区域共有的物种数。根据Jaccard’s指数值划分相似性等级: 当 0≤I<0.25 时, 物种组成极不相似; 0.25≤I<0.5 时, 为中度不相似; 0.5≤I<0.75 时, 为中度相似; 0.75≤I<1 时, 表示极度相似。
通过单因素方差分析检验不同区域间鱼类种类组成的差异。
鱼类群落稳定性和相似性  使用ABC曲线及W统计量进行鱼类群落的稳定性分析[26, 27]。ABC曲线通过将各物种的累积相对数量(Ai)与累积相对生物量(Bi)绘制在同一图中, 反映群落中优势种结构特征。W统计量的计算公式:

式中, S为出现的物种总数, AiBi分别为第i种的个体数累积百分比与生物量累积百分比。当W>0, 表示优势种为大型个体种群, 群落结构较稳定; W<0表明优势种为小型种, 群落可能处于扰动状态; W≈0则表示群落结构中等稳定。相关分析通过Primer 6.0软件实现。
ABC曲线采用Primer 6.0软件完成。
本研究采用Bray-Curtis相似性系数构建鱼类群落相似性矩阵, 并结合等级聚类分析法与非度量多维尺度排序(Non-metric multidimensional scaling, NMDS)进行群落结构的聚类分析与可视化。NMDS分析的拟合优度通过Stress值评估, Stress值越小, 代表拟合效果越好, 通常小于0.2表示可接受, 小于0.1为较好。
利用Primer 6.0和IBM SPSS Statistics 13.0软件进行数据统计分析, 用Origin对所得数据作图。
调查期间共统计鱼类19731尾, 隶属10目15科91种(表 1), 包括鲤形目60种、鲇形目15种、鲈形目4种、鲟形目3种、鲱形目2种、虾虎鱼目2种、胡瓜鱼目2种、鲻形目1种、攀鲈目1种、合鳃鱼目1种。鲤科鱼类是最大类群, 共59种, 占总种数的64.84%。
迁移的习性方面(外来入侵物种除外), 喜湖沼型鱼类最多, 包括拟尖头鲌、中华鳑鲏、鳜、棒花鱼等43种; 喜河流型鱼类包括大眼华鳊、光唇蛇鮈、吻鮈等29种; 江湖洄游性鱼类包括短颌鲚、鳊、草鱼、鲢等12种; 河海洄游性鱼类包括中华鲟、刀鲚、鲻3种。喜湖沼型鱼类是最大群体, 共43种, 占总物种数的47.25%。
鱼类食性方面, 以杂食性鱼类为主, 包括鲤、鲫、鲻、棒花鱼等60种; 肉食性鱼类包括中华鲟、长江鲟、鳤、鳡等23种; 植食性鱼类包括草鱼、鲮、银鲴、鲢、鳙等8种。杂食性鱼类是最大群体, 共60种, 占总物种数的65.93%。
调查到外来入侵物种杂交鲟、散鳞镜鲤、鲮、麦瑞加拉鲮共4种, 数量占比分别占总渔获物的0.03%、0.01%、0.09%和0.02%; 重量占比分别占总渔获物的0.18%、0.01%、0.10%和0.06%。
2024年, 长江中游监测到鱼类72种, 种类数比2023年增加12种, 比2022年增加10种; 2023年单位捕捞努力量渔获量(CPUE)均值为11.63 kg/网次, 比2022年上升24.59%, 2024年单位捕捞努力量渔获量(CPUE)均值为10.40 kg/网次, 比2022年上升11.35%。2022—2024年, 长江中游监测到的鱼类种类数和单位捕捞努力量渔获量均呈现上升趋势。
各调查江段累计监测到的鱼类物种数以监利最高为65种, 枝江最低为55种。CPUE均值以岳阳最高为13.08 kg/网次, 以监利最低为7.15 kg/网次。单因素方差分析结果表明, 不同江段鱼类物种数差异不显著, CPUE差异不显著(图 2)。
长江中游IRI指数筛选出的优势种有鲢、鳙、鳊、鲂、银鲴、蛇鮈、短颌鲚、瓦氏黄颡鱼共8种(表 2), 分别占渔获物总重量的16.16%、15.76%、9.13%、6.91%、6.96%、1.37%、2.90%和2.95%。2022—2024年, 优势种中植食性的鲢、银鲴和肉食性的短颌鲚优势度呈持续上升趋势, 鳙呈连续下降趋势。枝江江段和监利江段鱼类优势种数随年际上升; 岳阳江段优势种数随年际下降; 黄石江段优势种数变动不明显。鲢为枝江、监利、黄石江段的共有优势种。枝江和黄石江段, 前三种优势鱼种以小型鱼类为主, 监利和岳阳主要以大型经济鱼类为主。
2022—2024年, 长江中游鱼类群落物种多样性相对稳定(图 3), 从空间分布上来看(图 4), 枝江江段Shannon-Wiener多样性指数为2.46±0.11, 显著低于(P<0.05)监利、岳阳、黄石段的2.77±0.06、2.88±0.13和2.92±0.06; 枝江江段Simpson优势度指数为0.86±0.02, 显著低于(P<0.05)监利、岳阳、黄石段的0.90±0.01、0.92±0.01和0.92±0.01; 鱼类的Pielou均匀度指数, Margalef丰富度指数无明显差异。
长江中游4个江段鱼类群落Jaccard’s系数介于0.50—0.75, 总体在空间尺度上呈现中等相似。岳阳江段和黄石江段的鱼类群落Jaccard’s系数为0.73最大, 枝江江段和岳阳江段的鱼类群落Jaccard’s系数为0.54最小, 枝江江段和监利江段的鱼类群落相似性明显比枝江江段和岳阳江段的高, 可以看出水域越相近, Jaccard’s系数越大, 相似性也更高(表 3)。
ABC (丰度/生物量)曲线显示, 枝江、监利、岳阳、黄石江段的W值均大于零, 生物量优势度曲线都位于丰度优势度曲线之上, 且生物量优势度曲线的起点均高于丰度优势度曲线的起点, 表明长江中游鱼类群落受干扰程度较小(图 5)。
对鱼类群落进行Cluster和NMDS分析(图 6)。Cluster分析结果显示, 在58.31%的Bray-Curtis相似性水平上长江中游鱼类群落结构分为两组, Ⅰ组为岳阳、黄石和监利, Ⅱ组为枝江(图 6a)。One-way ANOSIM检验结果表明, 两组间的群聚结构在统计学上的差异不显著(R=1, P=0.1)。NMDS的分析结果与 Cluster分析结果一致, Stress的值为 0.01 (图 6b), 具有一定的解释意义。
生物的群落结构和多样性提供了关于群落健康和生态系统功能的关键信息, 是群落生态学研究中非常重要的两个方面[27]。鱼类处于河流生态系统食物链的顶端, 其群落结构及其多样性是评估河流生态系统健康的重要指标[9]。本研究于2022—2024年在长江中游江段调查到鱼类91种, 占历史记录的长江中游鱼类215种[28]的42.32%; 2017—2019年长江中游调查江段共监测到78种鱼类(中国水产科学研究院长江水产研究所未发表数据), 禁渔后监测到的鱼类种类数较禁渔前增长16.67%, 新监测到白边拟鲿、唇䱻、鳤、长江鲟、乐山小鳔鮈等26种鱼类, 较禁渔前未监测到暗色沙塘鳢(Odontobutis obscura)、圆尾斗鱼(Macropodus chinensis)、钝吻鮠(Leiocassis crassirostris)、中华纹胸鮡(Glyptothorax sinensis)等12种鱼类。这种物种组成的变化是不同生态习性的鱼类对捕捞压力减少及生境现状的差异化响应结果。禁渔的生态效益体现为物种数的净增加及鳤等珍稀物种的重现, 这是消除捕捞压力后生态释放的直接表现。鳤曾是长江中游重要的经济鱼类, 具有洄游习性, 但因其性成熟较晚且对过度捕捞极度敏感, 此前曾一度被认为在长江中游“功能性灭绝”[29]。本次在枝江、岳阳和黄石江段共监测到鳤25尾。这表明禁渔后, 鳤种群资源量快速下降趋势得到有效遏制, 并在局部水域开始有所恢复, 证实了十年禁渔是遏制生物多样性衰退的关键举措。鲂、厚颌鲂、红鳍原鲌、圆吻鲴及细鳞鲴等新增物种多为中上层肉食性或杂食性鱼类, 也是历史上重要的经济鱼类[30]。在禁渔前, 这些物种面临极高的捕捞强度, 种群长期处于“生长型过度捕捞”状态, 个体呈现小型化且数量较少[31]。在禁渔实施后, 这些物种多具备中等的繁殖力和较快的生长速度, 在竞争者和饵料资源相对充足的环境下, 迅速占据了空缺的生态位。中华纹胸鮡、暗色沙塘鳢等底栖及定居性鱼类的持续缺位, 以及杂交鲟、散鳞镜鲤、鲮、麦瑞加拉鲮等外来种的侵入, 警示我们当前的禁渔举措在着力恢复常规鱼类资源的同时, 还需格外关注特有底栖物种的保护与栖息地修复, 并建立起严格的外来种防控与管理机制。本研究相较于20世纪70年代仍有许多种类未被发现, 如鯮(Luciobrama macrocephalus)、鲥(Tenualosa reevesii)、白鲟(Psephurus gladius)等, 过度捕捞、水质污染、江湖阻隔是导致长江中游鱼类多样性下降的主要原因[32]
在长江十年禁渔实施前, 已有研究基于 2013—2015 年及 2017 年的渔业采样数据, 对长江中游监利江段鱼类群落结构进行了系统分析[33]。该研究表明, 当时该江段鱼类物种组成以小型、定居性及经济价值较低的类群为主, 群落结构呈现一定程度的简化特征。本研究基于 2022—2024 年禁渔实施后的调查结果, 对比上述禁渔前研究发现, 当前监测到的鱼类物种数有所增加, 部分中大型及珍稀濒危物种在调查中重新出现, 优势种组成也发生变化。这一变化趋势与禁渔背景下捕捞压力减弱、生境干扰减少的管理预期相一致。在多样性指数方面, 与禁渔前研究报道的结果相比, 本研究中 Shannon-Wiener 多样性指数和 Margalef 丰富度指数表现出一定程度的提升, 而 Simpson 优势度指数和 Pielou 均匀度指数整体保持相对稳定, 表明鱼类群落结构在复杂性和均衡性方面呈现改善趋势[20]。然而, 需要指出的是, 由于不同研究在采样方法、调查强度及时间覆盖范围等方面存在差异, 上述比较主要用于揭示群落结构变化的总体趋势, 而非严格的定量对比[34]。优势种组成的变化也为群落结构调整提供了佐证。在禁渔后, 部分植食性和底栖性鱼类在调查中的相对丰度有所提高, 可能与捕捞活动减少后栖息环境改善及繁殖干扰减弱有关[35]。同时, 高营养级鱼类在群落中的出现频率增加, 反映出食物网结构可能趋于完整。ABC 曲线分析结果显示, 禁渔实施后监利江段群落结构的受干扰程度较禁渔前有所降低, 但群落仍处于动态调整阶段, 其长期演替趋势仍需通过持续监测加以验证。
本研究发现, 禁渔后长江中游优势种以中大型鱼类为主, 且鲢等中大型经济鱼类优势度连续三年上升, 较禁渔初期方冬冬等[8] 2021年调查到的优势种以小型鱼类为主有一定改善, 经济型鱼类的资源占比有一定程度上升。在本研究中, 四大家鱼占渔获物重量比例为34.17%, 较刘绍平等[23] 20世纪初调查结果上升20.17%, 说明四大家鱼等重要经济鱼类资源禁渔后恢复相对较快, 但较1974 年长江水系渔业资源调查[28]的46.15%还有一定差距, 长江渔业资源的恢复是一个长期的过程。
鱼类群落结构变化是对人为影响及水域自然环境变化的响应, 其变化过程可能导致渔业功能的退化, 甚至导致水域生态系统失去自我调控的重要功能, 因而保持特定水域鱼类群落结构的合理性是长江渔业管理与生态系统恢复的关键[11]
2022—2024年, 长江中游鱼类多样性指数较高, 相对稳定(3.06—3.22)。冯凯等[36]研究发现, 鱼类物种丰富度、功能丰富度、分类多样性和功能多样性等指数在过度捕捞期迅速下降, 但禁渔后并未出现恢复趋势, 始终维持在一定水平。物种多样性的恢复通常需要更长时间, 这与本研究一致, 其直接原因主要是多数受过度捕捞影响的物种在“全面禁渔阶段”并未得到有效恢复。长江中游物种数和CPUE增加的禁渔效应随时间推移逐步显现并深化, 这是一个累积过程, 但并没有促进鱼类物种多样性较好的恢复, 2022—2024年长江中游鱼类的均匀度和优势度略微下降。这一现象表明, 当前群落格局的变化主要受禁渔带来的外部生态释放与群落内部种间竞争的双重驱动: 首先, 禁渔初期的“生态释放”效应在不同物种间存在差异。有研究表明消除捕捞压力后, 具有生长快、繁殖力强、生活史周期短等特征的r对策物种率先响应并迅速暴发, 种群个体数量呈现指数级增长[37], 与本研究中鲢生长模式相一致。其次, 优势种群的过度增殖加剧了种间竞争, 这种非均衡的恢复导致群落中优势种的个体数量占比急剧攀升, 虽然增加了渔获物的总量, 但也极大地降低了群落的均匀度。分析可能是发生了生物同质化[38], 特有种种群衰退或消失, 鲢等优势种群连续增加占群落主要优势地位, 使鱼类物种多样性指数保持在稳定范围内。在空间尺度上, 长江中游多样性指数与优势度指数呈现离坝越远多样性越高的趋势。在三峡大坝建成蓄水后, 坝下宜昌至螺山站河段河床发生冲刷, 河床糙率显著增加, 这导致原有的沙质河床被更粗糙、更坚硬的底质取代[39], 使得依赖软质底泥栖息和觅食的底栖生物及部分鱼类失去了适宜的生存环境; 蓄水后长江中下游的水文和水温情势发生了中度改变、泥沙情势发生了高度改变[40], 这使得许多需要特定涨水刺激才能繁殖的鱼类的繁殖规模减小。以上底质类型及水文条件的改变, 造成河生境片段化, 甚至栖息地丧失, 降低了物种多样性。尽管底质硬化和水文情势改变等生境因子对底栖和特定繁殖需求鱼类存在持续的限制作用, 但现阶段长江中游鱼类多样性恢复的瓶颈更多体现为群落演替的时间滞后性。物种多样性的重构是一个长期累积过程, 当前正处于由“数量恢复”向“结构优化”过渡的关键期, 优势种的单向扩张暂时掩盖了生物多样性的实质性改善。
长江中游四江段ABC曲线特征表明, 禁渔政策已初步缓解了过去高强度捕捞的干扰。然而, 这仅代表当前处于动态恢复阶段, 而非达到稳定终点。Cluster分析和NMDS分析结果表明, 在58.31%的相似性水平上, 长江中游鱼类群落可划分为2组, 其中监利、岳阳和黄石江段的鱼类群落高度相似(最小的相似性水平高达66.64%)。有研究表明, 鱼类群落结构与生境的异质性密切相关, 在相似的生境中鱼类群落组成也非常相似[41]。枝江江段由于受特殊的水文条件和人为因素的影响, 鱼类群落构成与其他江段差异较大, 在三峡大坝蓄水后, 其对坝下河道形态、底质组成及水文情势的改变, 导致长江干流枝江江段鱼类群落结构发生显著变化[42]
本研究表明, 在长江实施十年禁渔后, 长江中游CPUE呈上升趋势, 四大家鱼、鳤等重要鱼类资源恢复相对较快, 禁渔取得了阶段性成效, 但多样性指数相对稳定, 物种多样性的恢复是一个长期过程。当前鱼类群落正处于由“生物量恢复”向“群落结构优化”转型的关键过渡期, 未来的生态保护需从单一的资源养护向“生境修复+生物调控”的系统治理转变。为促进长江中游渔业资源的恢复, 建议: (1)坚定不移地推行长江十年禁渔政策; (2)加强鳤等重要的小种群鱼类的人工繁育研究; (3)实施江湖连通工程, 打通长江中下游部分历史通江湖泊与长江干流的联系, 畅通鱼类洄游通道, 以促进鱼类遗传交流和完成生活史。
