Mechanical harvesting can cause damage to the flower buds of Camellia oleifera, which affects the fruit yield of the following year. In order to investigate the influence of mechanical harvesting of fruits on the yield of C. oleifera in the second year and ease the nutritional competition by rational loading, this study designed flower thinning treatments at the intensities of 0%, 30%, 50%, and 70% for the 10-year-old plants of the C. oleifera cultivar 'Cenruan 3' and then determined the fruit yield and oil quality. The results showed that the fruit volume, fruit weight, ratio of seeds to fresh fruits, ratio of kernels to seeds, and kernel oil content increased with the increase in flower thinning intensity. The yield per plant and oil yield per plant in the 50% thinning treatment of C. oleifera in the second year increased significantly by 44.51% and 43.25%, respectively, while they had no significant difference between 30% and 70% treatments and the control. The 50% and 70% treatments showed increased content of oleic acid and palmitoleic acid but decreased content of palmitic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid, and linolenic acid. The unsaturated fatty acid content and oleic acid content were in the descending order of 70% treatment > 50% treatment>30% treatment. Through the flower thinning treatment, the unsaturated fatty acid content reached 88.88%-89.01% and the oleic acid content reached 78.2%-79.1%. In summary, 50% of flower thinning can significantly improve the fruit yield and oil quality compared with the control. The results provide a reference for artificial flower (bud) thinning and mechanical harvesting of C. oleifera fruits.

机械采收会对油茶(Camellia oleifera) 花苞造成损伤, 进而影响油茶翌年果实产量。为了探究机械采收果实对油茶下一年产量的影响, 本研究以10年生的油茶'岑软3号’结果树为试验对象, 模拟机械采收对花苞的破坏对其进行不同强度疏花处理(疏花比例分别为0%、30%、50%、70%, 分别标记为CK、T30、T50、T70), 测定不同处理的果实产量同时分析比较其油脂品质差异, 通过合理负载缓和营养竞争, 进而探究其对油茶生长和产量的综合影响。结果表明: 随着疏花比例增大, 油茶果实体积、单果重、出籽率、出仁率和种仁含油率均有所提高。T50疏花处理下, 油茶翌年的单株产量和单株产油量较CK分别显著提高44.51%和43.25% (P < 0.05), 而T30和T70疏花处理与CK无显著差异。T50和T70疏花处理下, 油茶油酸含量和棕榈烯酸含量升高, 而棕榈酸、硬脂酸、亚油酸和亚麻酸含量下降。不同疏花处理下, 油茶不饱和脂肪酸含量达88.88%~89.01%, 油酸含量达78.2%~79.1%, 不饱和脂肪酸含量和油酸含量从高到低的处理为T70>T50>T30。综合来看, 与CK和其他疏花处理相比, 50%的疏花处理下10年生油茶'岑软3号’的果实产量和油脂品质均显著提高(P < 0.05)。

机械采收会对油茶(Camellia oleifera) 花苞造成损伤, 进而影响油茶翌年果实产量。为了探究机械采收果实对油茶下一年产量的影响, 本研究以10年生的油茶'岑软3号’结果树为试验对象, 模拟机械采收对花苞的破坏对其进行不同强度疏花处理(疏花比例分别为0%、30%、50%、70%, 分别标记为CK、T30、T50、T70), 测定不同处理的果实产量同时分析比较其油脂品质差异, 通过合理负载缓和营养竞争, 进而探究其对油茶生长和产量的综合影响。结果表明: 随着疏花比例增大, 油茶果实体积、单果重、出籽率、出仁率和种仁含油率均有所提高。T50疏花处理下, 油茶翌年的单株产量和单株产油量较CK分别显著提高44.51%和43.25% (P < 0.05), 而T30和T70疏花处理与CK无显著差异。T50和T70疏花处理下, 油茶油酸含量和棕榈烯酸含量升高, 而棕榈酸、硬脂酸、亚油酸和亚麻酸含量下降。不同疏花处理下, 油茶不饱和脂肪酸含量达88.88%~89.01%, 油酸含量达78.2%~79.1%, 不饱和脂肪酸含量和油酸含量从高到低的处理为T70>T50>T30。综合来看, 与CK和其他疏花处理相比, 50%的疏花处理下10年生油茶'岑软3号’的果实产量和油脂品质均显著提高(P < 0.05)。

Mechanical harvesting can cause damage to the flower buds of Camellia oleifera, which affects the fruit yield of the following year. In order to investigate the influence of mechanical harvesting of fruits on the yield of C. oleifera in the second year and ease the nutritional competition by rational loading, this study designed flower thinning treatments at the intensities of 0%, 30%, 50%, and 70% for the 10-year-old plants of the C. oleifera cultivar 'Cenruan 3' and then determined the fruit yield and oil quality. The results showed that the fruit volume, fruit weight, ratio of seeds to fresh fruits, ratio of kernels to seeds, and kernel oil content increased with the increase in flower thinning intensity. The yield per plant and oil yield per plant in the 50% thinning treatment of C. oleifera in the second year increased significantly by 44.51% and 43.25%, respectively, while they had no significant difference between 30% and 70% treatments and the control. The 50% and 70% treatments showed increased content of oleic acid and palmitoleic acid but decreased content of palmitic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid, and linolenic acid. The unsaturated fatty acid content and oleic acid content were in the descending order of 70% treatment > 50% treatment>30% treatment. Through the flower thinning treatment, the unsaturated fatty acid content reached 88.88%-89.01% and the oleic acid content reached 78.2%-79.1%. In summary, 50% of flower thinning can significantly improve the fruit yield and oil quality compared with the control. The results provide a reference for artificial flower (bud) thinning and mechanical harvesting of C. oleifera fruits.

油茶(Camellia oleifera) 属于山茶科(Theaceae) 山茶属(Camellia) 植物,是我国特有的木本油料树种,具有极高的经济价值和生态价值。由其种仁加工出来的茶油是优质食用植物油,主要成分是不饱和脂肪酸(以油酸、亚油酸为主),营养丰富、保健价值高[1-3]。油茶冬春季开花,花量大,果实发育周期长,生产上普遍存在落花、落果等问题[4-6],同时,非生物胁迫进一步加剧了其果实发育障碍和产量下降[7],对油茶种植和经济效益产生了极为不利的影响。此外,油茶花芽形成时期也是果实和新梢的快速生长期,生殖器官(花、果) 之间以及其与营养器官之间对养分的竞争造成树体养分供不应求,进而引发落果和大小年现象[8-10]。油茶生理落果期为3—10月,其中两个落果高峰期分别为3月和7—8月[6],这可能是授粉受精不良和果实发育期对养分的竞争导致,因此,研究油茶果实合理负载对于高产稳产至关重要。
油茶果实采摘主要靠人工,劳动强度大、成本高,亟需机械化采摘。油茶花果同期,机械采果过程中机械夹持方式和坚硬的夹持材料对花苞均有一定程度的损伤,采果过程对树体的扭转、振动等机械动作也会导致花苞掉落[11-14],影响下一年果实产量。目前,油茶生产上开始逐步用机械采收代替人工采收,而生产上尚未对花量损伤对下一年产量的影响进行评估。油茶本身花量较大,过多的开花结果易破坏树势造成“大小年”现象,鉴于此,本研究通过设定不同强度的疏花处理,模拟机械采收对花苞的破坏,探究疏花处理对保果率、产量和油脂品质的影响,旨在为油茶的科学栽培管理和果实的机械采收提供借鉴和指导。
试验地位于广西壮族自治区柳州市国有三门江林场马步分场,北纬24°22′56″,东经109°39′54″。试验地气候类型属湿润亚热带季风气候,年平均气温20 ℃,年降水量1 300~1 700 mm,地形以丘陵地貌为主,海拔高度130~140 m,坡度为10°,土壤为红壤。试验地油茶株行距2 m×3 m,树高2.3 m,冠幅2 m×2 m,单株花量1 500朵左右。
2020年10月,选取树体健壮、无明显病虫害,且株间差异小、长势一致的健康10年生‘岑软3号’油茶为试验对象,于盛花期(2020年11月和2021年11月) 以株为单位进行疏花处理,用手捋带花苞枝条,随机去除花苞,并模拟机器采收油茶果实对花苞的影响。共设置3个疏花处理:疏除起始花量的30%、50%、70%,分别标记为T30、T50、T70,以不疏花(0%) 的植株作为对照(CK),每个处理选择4株,重复3次,共计12株。
以株为单位记录起始花量和疏花量,用于计算最终负载量,即留花量。

分别于翌年第一次落果高峰前(4月) 和果实成熟期(10月) 统计果实数量,用于计算保果率。

果实样品的横径、纵径用游标卡尺测量;鲜果重用电子天平称量(精确到0.001 g);鲜籽重由手工剥除果皮后,用电子天平称量(精确到0.001 g);干仁重由鲜籽放入60 ℃烘箱烘样72 h,手工剥除种皮后,用电子天平称量(精确到0.001 g)。
可溶性糖含量采用蒽酮比色法测定[15],可溶性蛋白含量采用考马斯亮蓝法测得[15],油脂含量按《植物油料含油量测定:GB/T 14488.1—2008 》 [16]标准采用索氏提取法测得,并计算种仁含油率。脂肪酸含量采用《食品中脂肪酸的测定:GB 5009.168—2016 》 [17]第三法测得。以上每个处理重复3次。

采用Excel 2010软件对所有数据进行记录统计和表格绘制;用SPSS 22.0软件对数据进行单因素方差分析(ANOVA),如差异在0.05水平上显著,则用Duncan法进行多重比较;用sigmaplot 10.0软件制图。
对疏花后油茶果实发育动态进行观测,疏花处理对果实发育的影响如图 1所示。6月10日—7月25日为油茶果实快速生长期,果实体积快速增大,果实质量快速增加;8月份油茶进入油脂转化期,果实纵横径和单果重呈缓慢增加趋势。10月25日油茶果实进入成熟期,T70处理的单果重、果实纵径和果实横径分别为31.2 g、39.91 mm和40.32 mm,与CK相比,分别增大了8.11%、5.16%和4.67%,且差异均达显著水平。以上结果表明,70%疏花处理对油茶果实膨大和果实鲜重增加具有明显的促进作用。
疏花处理对油茶保果率的影响如表 1所示。疏花处理后,油茶单株的花量不同,表现为CK>T30>T50>T70,T30、T50和T70处理的油茶在4月份的保果率分别是CK的1.58、2.04、2.45倍,10月份的保果率分别是CK的1.59、2.72、2.98倍。各疏花处理的保果率从高到低依次为T70>T50>T30,表明油茶保果率随着疏花强度提高而提高。在果实发育早期(4月份),CK、T30和T50处理的油茶保果率差异不显著,但与T70处理的保果率差异显著(P < 0.05)。到10月份果实成熟时,CK和T30处理的果实数量和保果率均明显下降,且保果率均与T50、T70处理差异显著(P < 0.05)。
疏花处理对油茶产量性状的影响如表 2所示。T50处理的油茶果实单株鲜果质量显著高于CK (P < 0.05),提高了44.51%,但T30和T70处理的油茶果实单株鲜果质量与CK无显著差异。从出籽率和出仁率来看,疏花处理均提高了油茶果实的出籽率和出仁率,且T50和T70处理与CK差异显著(P < 0.05),其中,T70处理的油茶鲜果出籽率和出仁率比CK显著提高了10.77%和24.07%。从疏花处理对油茶种仁含油率的影响来看,T30处理对种仁含油率的影响不显著,T50和T70处理的种仁含油率均显著高于CK (P < 0.05),其中T70处理的种仁含油率比CK提高了11.52%。此外,疏花处理可显著提高油茶单株产油量(P < 0.05),其中T50处理的提升效果最显著,单株产油量达到125.37 g。
油茶从8月份开始进入油脂转化期,因此,试验从8月25日开始对不同疏花处理的油茶种仁油脂含量进行检测,结果如图 2(a) 所示,疏花处理能显著提高油茶种仁的油脂含量(P < 0.05)。在油茶种仁成熟期(10月25日),不同疏花处理的油茶种仁油脂含量均显著高于CK (P < 0.05),T30、T50和T70处理的油茶种仁油脂含量与CK (43.48%) 相比分别提高了2.87%、5.22%和5.84%。
选择果实快速生长期、油脂转化期和成熟期3个发育关键时期进行油茶种仁中营养物质的含量测定,不同疏花处理的油茶种仁中可溶性糖含量如图 2(b) 所示。随着果实发育,油茶种仁中的可溶性糖含量缓慢上升,进入油脂转化期(8月份) 则迅速下降,与油脂积累呈现相反的变化趋势。7月25日油茶种仁中可溶性糖含量达到高峰,此时T30、T50和T70处理的油茶种仁中可溶性糖含量分别比CK提高了1.79%、4.33%和6.33%。至果实成熟时期(10月25日),疏花处理的油茶种仁中的可溶性糖含量显著下降,尤其T70处理的可溶性糖含量比CK显著降低了13.54% (P < 0.05),说明疏花处理促进了可溶性糖的转化。
图 2(c) 可以看出,油茶种仁中可溶性蛋白含量总体变化趋势呈现为先缓慢上升,7月25日出现第一个小高峰,之后下降,9月25日又上升,10月25日出现最高峰。在油茶果实可溶性蛋白含量的第一个高峰(7月25日),疏花处理的可溶性蛋白含量均显著高于CK (P < 0.05)。油脂转化期(8月份) 油茶种仁中的可溶性蛋白质含量快速降低,至果实成熟期(10月25日) 再次升高,T30、T50和T70处理的油茶种仁中可溶性蛋白含量分别为22.23、23.93、24.15 mg · g-1,与CK的21.15 mg · g-1相比分别提高5.11%、13.14%和14.18%,且差异均达到显著水平(P < 0.05)。
疏花处理下油茶主要脂肪酸成分的含量变化如表 3所示。疏花处理后,油茶油脂中棕榈酸、硬脂酸、亚油酸和α-亚麻酸含量与CK相比均下降,而棕榈烯酸、油酸、顺-11-二十碳烯酸含量与CK相比均升高。随着果实发育,油茶油脂中饱和脂肪酸含量总体呈下降趋势,而总不饱和脂肪酸含量总体呈上升趋势,疏花处理并未改变油茶脂肪酸的总体变化趋势。在8月25日,不同疏花处理下油酸含量并无差异,然后随着果实发育和油脂积累,9月份T50和T70处理的油茶油酸和棕榈烯酸含量较CK快速升高,至10月25日时,T50和T70处理的油茶油酸含量较CK分别提高1.02%和1.15%,而棕榈酸、硬脂酸、亚油酸和α-亚麻酸含量较CK快速降低,且在果实成熟期(10月25日) 较CK更低。疏花处理不饱和脂肪酸含量按从高到低的处理为T70>T50>T30。果实成熟期(10月25日),油酸在不饱和脂肪酸中占比最大,按其含量从高到低的处理为T70>T50>T30,即随着疏花强度提高,油脂中油酸占比增大。
油茶果实败育率较高,且不同品种败育率有差异[18]。败育导致落果,最终影响产量。果实发育早期的败育多是由于授粉受精不良导致,而果实发育后期的败育主要是由于营养供应不足和正在发育的器官之间的营养竞争导致[19]。疏花或疏果可以有效缓解树体营养器官生长和果实发育对养分的竞争,显著降低落花落果概率,提升果实产量[20-21]。本研究发现,随着疏花强度提高,油茶保果率显著提升。不疏花或30%水平疏花强度处理下,虽然果实发育早期(4月) 保果率较高,但是到果实发育后期(10月),保果率显著下降,这可能与果实发育期间的营养竞争导致的落果有关,通过适量疏花或疏果可以调整油茶树体负载量,减少落果和营养的流失[22]。不同疏花强度对单株鲜果质量、出仁率、种仁含油率及最终产油量的影响差异显著。在不同疏花处理中,30%和70%水平疏花强度处理下的单株鲜果质量和单株产油量与CK无显著差异,而50%水平疏花强度处理下果实的单株鲜果质量、出仁率、种仁含油率及最终产油量均达到最高值,其中单株产油量达到125.37 g,较CK显著提高43.2% (P < 0.05)。因此,早期的疏花处理可以更好地集中营养供应树体果实发育、果实营养物质积累及油脂转化。YE et al[22]对油茶品种‘赣石83-4’进行疏花处理后,发现虽然高强度的疏花(40%~60%) 会导致果实产量下降,但是会提高出籽率和产油量。本研究发现,疏花强度越大,种仁含油量越高,而疏花比例过高(70%) 会影响单株鲜果质量和单株产油量,考虑到最终的保果率和产量,生产上以疏花40%~50%为宜,机械采收对油茶树体花芽损伤率控制在树体花量的50%可有效提高油茶果实产量。
油茶以积累油酸等不饱和脂肪酸为主[1]。50%和70%疏花处理提高了棕榈烯酸和油酸含量,而棕榈酸、硬脂酸、亚油酸和α-亚麻酸含量下降。随着疏花强度提高,油脂中油酸占比增大。在油茶油脂积累过程中,棕榈酸、硬脂酸、亚油酸和α-亚麻酸含量总体呈下降趋势,而棕榈烯酸、油酸、顺-11-二十碳烯酸含量呈上升趋势,总饱和脂肪酸含量呈下降趋势,而总不饱和脂肪酸含量呈上升趋势,但是疏花并未显著改变油茶脂肪酸的总体变化趋势,这些结果表明,通过适当疏花可以提高油茶油脂中总不饱和脂肪酸含量。
随着油茶果实发育,果实可溶性糖含量缓慢上升,但在进入油脂转化期(8月份以后) 则迅速下降,与油脂积累呈现相反的变化趋势,这与‘湘林’‘华硕’等油茶品种的果实发育规律一致[23-24]。果树合理负载对产量和品质形成至关重要[25-27],油茶8月下旬进入落果高峰,到10月份落果率达28.5%[28],本研究发现,早期疏花处理可以显著提升果实快速发育期油茶果实的可溶性糖含量,促进果实发育,显著提高保果率(P < 0.05);而在果实进入油脂转化期后,可溶性糖迅速转化,促进油脂合成。此外,其他果树的研究结果也表明,通过调整树体的负载量显著提高果实的可溶性固形物、可溶性糖含量,从而改良果实的品质[29-30]
在本研究中,油茶单株果实总体产量较低,这可能与试验地当年生长季遇到极端干旱有关,导致试验树体果实发育生长受阻[31],也可能跟授粉树品种配置有关,授粉树花期不一致或不亲和都会导致油茶树坐果率低[5]
疏花处理可显著提高油茶果实保果率、果实体积、单果质量、出籽率、出仁率及种仁含油率等指标,综合考虑产量和品质,模拟机械采果的疏花比例以不超过花量的50%为宜,能显著提高油茶产量和油脂品质。早期的疏花处理可以集中营养供应树体果实发育、果实营养物质积累及油脂转化,并显著提高保果率(P < 0.05)。T50和T70疏花处理提高了油酸含量和棕榈烯酸含量,但降低了棕榈酸、硬脂酸、亚油酸和亚麻酸含量。本研究结果还表明,通过适当疏花疏果,经济林树种在干旱条件下仍能保持一定产量,减少经济损失,这一策略不仅为人工疏花(芽) 和油茶果实机械采收提供理论参考,还显示出提高植物抗旱性方面的潜力,因此,后续仍需进一步开展疏花处理对油茶应对干旱胁迫的相关研究。
