The construction of fish-friendly water passage has become an inevitable demand for habitat connectivity and protection. To further optimize the hydraulic characteristics of fish-friendly channels, based on a flume experiment, large-eddy simulation (LES) is used to construct a three-dimensional hydrodynamic model. The channel flow is simulated under the influence of regular triangular baffles and permeable triangular baffles. The results indicate that the permeable triangular baffle design effectively reduces the strength of the main recirculation zone and limits its development. The turbulent kinetic energy and Reynolds stress behind the baffle are reduced due to water inflow through the permeable apertures, leading to a 34.5% reduction in maximum turbulent kinetic energy along the vertical axis. Furthermore, at two different water depths, the permeable baffle design increases the proportion of resting zones and local low-velocity zones, while significantly reducing the proportion of negative flow velocity zones that are harmful to fish.

建设鱼类友好型过水通道,已成为栖息地连通与保护的必然需求。为了对鱼类友好型过水通道内部水力特性进一步优化,以典型水槽试验为基础,采用开源大涡模拟代码构建三维水动力数学模型,分别对常规三角形挡板和透水三角形挡板影响下的过水通道水流开展模拟研究。结果表明,透水三角形挡板设计有效降低了主循环区的强度并抑制其发展空间;由于水流从透水孔洞流入,挡板后方的紊动能和雷诺应力强度均得到降低,垂向侧线上最大紊动能减少达34.5%;同时,在两个不同水深平面处,透水挡板设计均提高了休息区和局部低流速区的比例,并有效降低了对鱼类不利的负流速区占比。

建设鱼类友好型过水通道,已成为栖息地连通与保护的必然需求。为了对鱼类友好型过水通道内部水力特性进一步优化,以典型水槽试验为基础,采用开源大涡模拟代码构建三维水动力数学模型,分别对常规三角形挡板和透水三角形挡板影响下的过水通道水流开展模拟研究。结果表明,透水三角形挡板设计有效降低了主循环区的强度并抑制其发展空间;由于水流从透水孔洞流入,挡板后方的紊动能和雷诺应力强度均得到降低,垂向侧线上最大紊动能减少达34.5%;同时,在两个不同水深平面处,透水挡板设计均提高了休息区和局部低流速区的比例,并有效降低了对鱼类不利的负流速区占比。

The construction of fish-friendly water passage has become an inevitable demand for habitat connectivity and protection. To further optimize the hydraulic characteristics of fish-friendly channels, based on a flume experiment, large-eddy simulation (LES) is used to construct a three-dimensional hydrodynamic model. The channel flow is simulated under the influence of regular triangular baffles and permeable triangular baffles. The results indicate that the permeable triangular baffle design effectively reduces the strength of the main recirculation zone and limits its development. The turbulent kinetic energy and Reynolds stress behind the baffle are reduced due to water inflow through the permeable apertures, leading to a 34.5% reduction in maximum turbulent kinetic energy along the vertical axis. Furthermore, at two different water depths, the permeable baffle design increases the proportion of resting zones and local low-velocity zones, while significantly reducing the proportion of negative flow velocity zones that are harmful to fish.

过水通道大量存在于堤坝和溪流中,其中以涵洞、隧道、桥洞、引水渠等形式较为常见。过水通道最初的设计原则是最大化其过流能力,但内部高速水流会对鱼类的迁徙造成不利影响[1]。随着过水通道工程的生态环境效应得到重视,鱼类友好型过水通道的设计概念和准则得以广泛关注[2]。目前,在过水通道内部布置侧向挡板是帮助鱼类上溯、提高过鱼成功率的有效方法之一[3]。相关研究表明,安装侧向挡板后,过水通道内部的水流条件得到了有效改善,其主要特征是在挡板后方形成低流速区,为游泳能力较弱的鱼类提供更优的水力条件[4]。毛劲乔等[5]通过水槽试验发现,加设侧向挡板后低流速区域的面积占比增加了40%~260%。然而,这一低流速区域并非越大越好,低流速区域的增加会进一步导致负流速区面积的增大。相关鱼类水力学试验发现,鱼类会在挡板后方的负尾流中迷失上溯方向,这主要是由负流速区和强再循环区共同作用引起的[6]。通过阐明水流流场、紊动能等特性是提升过水通道的环境效益的重要内容。因此,有必要改进挡板设计以便优化过水通道中负流速区和再循环区的大小。鉴此,本文以鱼类友好型过水通道水槽试验为基础,以大涡模拟为主要研究手段构建过水通道内含挡板的三维水动力数值模型,重点分析常规挡板和透水挡板对流场结构和特定流动区域的影响,以期为鱼类友好型过水通道的优化设计提供参考依据。
为了精准模拟鱼类友好型过水通道中挡板影响下的三维流场结构,使用开源程序Hydro3D[7]求解三维不可压缩Navier-Stokes方程:
式中,uiuj分别为不同方向上的速度分量;xixj分别为三维空间坐标;t为时间;p为压强;ν为流体运动粘度;τij为亚格子尺度(SGS)的应力。
数值模型的构建参考鱼类友好型过水通道模型试验的相关参数[5],该试验中,水槽长度为8 m,宽度为0.5 m;水槽中连续分布的挡板厚度为8 mm、形状为直角边长hb=0.14 m的等腰直角三角形,相邻挡板间距Lb=0.5 m;试验水深(h)恒定为0.18 m,断面平均进口流速(Ub)为0.5 m/s,雷诺数Re=Ub h/ν=90 000。试验中采用声学多普勒流速仪(ADV)测量下游流动充分发展区域的流速,并以此对数值模型进行验证。
为减小数值计算中的工作量,仅对流动充分发展区域进行模拟,图1(a)为数值模型的计算域示意图,整个计算域长度为1 m,包含两个挡板单元,宽度还原试验水槽宽度为0.5 m,高度为试验水深0.18 m。采用均匀的笛卡尔网格对整个计算域进行划分,网格尺寸为0.001 m×0.002 m×0.001 m,因此整个计算域共包含4.5×107个网格单元。
边界条件见图1(a)。进口及出口均采用周期性边界,两侧及底部边界采用壁面边界,模拟中不考虑自由水面波动的影响,因此采用滑移边界对顶部进行处理。计算域中的几何模型采用浸没边界点以保障几何表面的无滑移条件。初始模拟进行20个流动贯穿时间以保证流动充分发展,再继续运行20个流动贯穿时间来对流动数据进行搜集。常规三角形挡板和透水三角形挡板的几何示意图见图1(b),透水三角形挡板在常规挡板基础上设有圆形透水孔洞,圆形透水孔洞半径分布为R1=0.2 m、R2=0.1 m。
为了对数值模型的准确性和可靠性进行验证,采用模拟值和试验值进行对比。验证测线位于挡板后方0.025 m,验证数据包括时均流速Um和流向湍流强度u′。图2为流速测线验证图,整体上来看,数值模型能够准确还原挡板后方的流场,图2(a)精准捕捉了挡板影响下后面的负流速区域,这一范围随着远离侧壁逐渐消失。如图2(b)所示,在z/h=0.65处流向湍流强度有一个局部峰值,这一峰值随着在y=0.13 m处逐渐下移至z/h=0.2。大涡模拟结果亦精准地还原了这一趋势,由此可见,该数值模拟的准确性和可靠性得到了保障,模拟结果能够进一步评估鱼类友好型过水通道的流场特性及水力结构。
图3为常规三角形挡板和透水三角形挡板在不同挡板高度(z/hb=0.50、z/hb=0.25)的时均流速(Um)分布云图。由图3可知,挡板的存在显著改变了周围的流场结构,相对于主流区的高流速特征,相邻挡板之间存在明显的低流速区域。与此同时,多个再循环区域分布在挡板上下游,其中挡板下游的主循环区与鱼类在过水通道中的上溯行为密切相关[6]图3(a)中在z/hb=0.50高度的主循环区域延伸长度约为0.208 5 m,随着高度的进一步下降,在z/hb=0.25高度处常规三角形挡板的主循环区域大小约为0.304 7 m,这主要是三角形挡板长度在垂向上变化的原因,CABONCE J等[8]指出再循环区的长度与挡板尺寸呈现线性关系。相比于常规三角形挡板,图3(c)、(d)中的透水三角形挡板后方的循环区特性均发生了改变。由于水流进一步从透水孔中流向下游,原本位于挡板后方和水槽侧壁的角涡消失,主循环区的强度和发展也受到限制,透水挡板在z/hb=0.50高度处的主循环区长度相对于常规挡板缩小至1/2,仅有0.098 4 m。在z/hb=0.25高度的流场受到多个透水孔洞的综合影响,主循环区的特性变化更为剧烈,再循环区域的核心明显向下游移动,图3(d)中的核心坐标为x=0.45 m,而常规三角形挡板此位置的再循环区核心坐标仅为x=0.38 m。
紊动能是影响过鱼效率的重要水力参数[9],水体中过高的紊动能会影响鱼类的运动行为甚至是对鱼类造成伤害。图4为紊动能分布云图。由图4(a)、(b)可看出,在挡板外缘存在高紊动区域,该区域从挡板上游向下游发展,在z/hb= 0.50高度处的最大紊动能约为0.030 6 m2/s2,这一紊动峰值随着水深的进一步下降而降低,在z/hb=0.25高度处的最大紊动能约为0.025 6 m2/s2。这一变化的主要原因是z/hb=0.50高度处的挡水效果更弱,导致剪切运动及流速波动更大。值得注意是,在挡板和水槽边壁发现了低紊动区域,这与图3中的低流速的范围基本一致。由图4(c)、(d)可看出,高紊动区域的范围和强度明显减小,在z/hb=0.50、z/hb=0.25两处最大紊动能分别为0.025 1、0.024 5 m2/s2,范围也仅集中在挡板下游的小段区域。
图5为常规三角形挡板和透水三角形挡板在y/hb=0.5平面处相邻挡板之间不同位置的垂向测线紊动能的分布。由图5可看出,在靠近上游的位置,如在x=0.3 m处的垂向测线上,不同挡板设计对该位置处紊动能的分布影响较小,最大紊动能分别为0.025 0、0.025 5 m2/s2,但这一差异随着测线位置向下游发展而增加。在x=0.5 m位置处最为明显,在垂向高度小于0.13 m的范围内,常规三角形挡板设计的紊动能分布整体上大于透水三角形挡板,常规三角形挡板设计在该位置处的最大紊动能位于z=0.08 m水深处,为0.279 8 m2/s2,而相同位置处的透水三角形挡板的紊动能仅有0.195 m2/s2,减少了34.5%,可见水流从透水孔洞流入,为鱼类上溯提供了更有利的环境。
雷诺应力用于反映鱼类对水流环境的感知[9]图6为常规三角形挡板和透水三角形挡板在z/hb=0.50、z/hb=0.25高度处的雷诺应力分布云图。由图6(a)、(b)可看出,高雷诺应力范围几乎布满了相邻挡板之间的外缘区域,两个平面处最大的雷诺应力值分别为8.87、8.20 N2/m2。由图6(c)、(d)可看出,透水三角形挡板改善了这一区域的高雷诺应力分布,雷诺应力的强度明显下降,两个平面处最大的雷诺应力值分别为7.54、7.55 N2/m2,分别减少了15%、8%。值得注意的是在透水三角形挡板下游与侧壁附近出现了小范围的低强度的负雷诺应力区域,这主要是由于水流通过透水孔流向造成的剪切作用导致。
根据文献[4],Um<0.3 m/s的区域定义为休息区域,Um<0.5Ub的区域定义为局部低流速区域,Um<0 m/s的区域定义为负流速区域。表1为常规三角形挡板和透水三角形挡板在两个不同水深位置三个特定区域的面积占比。由表1可看出,在两个水深处,透水三角形挡板设计不仅增加了休息区域和局部低流速区域的面积占比,且有效降低了负流速区的比例,为过水通道中鱼类提供了更多有利水力环境。
a. 透水三角形挡板设计优化了挡板后方再循环区域的分布格局,主循环区的强度和发展空间得到有效抑制。
b. 透水三角形挡板设计进一步降低了挡板后方的紊动能和雷诺应力的强度,在相邻挡板之间的垂向侧线上,相对于常规三角形挡板,透水挡板的最大紊动能减小了34.5%。
c.z/hb=0.50、z/hb=0.25所在水深处,透水三角形挡板设计不仅增加了休息区域和局部低流速区域的面积占比,且有效降低了负流速区的比例,为过水通道中鱼类提供了更多有利的水力环境。
