Based on the hourly precipitation data (1980-2019) from 142 national stations in Hebei Province, Mann-Kendall (MK) trend and mutation test, K-means clustering, and hydrometeorologically homogeneous region methods were used to systematically analyze the temporal evolution characteristics and spatial distribution patterns of short-term extreme precipitation in Hebei Province. The results show that significant regional differences exist in interannual variation of short-term extreme precipitation, with an upward trend in high-altitude mountains and a downward trend in low-altitude plains/hills, marked by a 1996 change-point. Topography significantly influences patterns: the spatial extent decreases in plains and southern slopes but expands on northern slopes for 1 h and 3 h durations, indicating a shift towards mountainous areas. Seasonal differences are pronounced: winter/spring increases, while summer and autumn decreases significantly, with third-quarter Rx24h declining at 0.337 mm/a. The research results reveal the spatio-temporal differentiation law of short-term extreme precipitation in Hebei Province, providing a scientific basis for regional flood control and disaster reduction as well as adaptive management to climate change.

基于1980~2019年河北省142个国家基本气象站的逐小时降水数据,综合运用Mann-Kendall(MK)趋势及突变检验、K-means聚类算法、水文气象一致区等方法,系统分析了河北省短历时极端降水的时间演变特征与空间分布规律。结果表明,短历时极端降水年际变化存在显著区域差异,高海拔山地地区降水量呈上升趋势,低海拔平原及丘陵区极端降水量呈下降趋势,且在1996年存在明显突变点;地形因子影响显著,平原及山地南坡的极端降水范围缩减,而山地北坡短历时(1、3 h)极端降水范围扩张,极端降水发生区域逐渐向山地转移;季节差异明显,冬春两季降水量呈上升趋势,夏秋两季下降趋势显著,其中第三季度Rx24h下降速率达0.337 mm/a。研究结果揭示了河北省短历时极端降水的时空分异规律,为区域防洪减灾及气候变化适应性管理提供科学依据。

基于1980~2019年河北省142个国家基本气象站的逐小时降水数据,综合运用Mann-Kendall(MK)趋势及突变检验、K-means聚类算法、水文气象一致区等方法,系统分析了河北省短历时极端降水的时间演变特征与空间分布规律。结果表明,短历时极端降水年际变化存在显著区域差异,高海拔山地地区降水量呈上升趋势,低海拔平原及丘陵区极端降水量呈下降趋势,且在1996年存在明显突变点;地形因子影响显著,平原及山地南坡的极端降水范围缩减,而山地北坡短历时(1、3 h)极端降水范围扩张,极端降水发生区域逐渐向山地转移;季节差异明显,冬春两季降水量呈上升趋势,夏秋两季下降趋势显著,其中第三季度Rx24h下降速率达0.337 mm/a。研究结果揭示了河北省短历时极端降水的时空分异规律,为区域防洪减灾及气候变化适应性管理提供科学依据。

Based on the hourly precipitation data (1980-2019) from 142 national stations in Hebei Province, Mann-Kendall (MK) trend and mutation test, K-means clustering, and hydrometeorologically homogeneous region methods were used to systematically analyze the temporal evolution characteristics and spatial distribution patterns of short-term extreme precipitation in Hebei Province. The results show that significant regional differences exist in interannual variation of short-term extreme precipitation, with an upward trend in high-altitude mountains and a downward trend in low-altitude plains/hills, marked by a 1996 change-point. Topography significantly influences patterns: the spatial extent decreases in plains and southern slopes but expands on northern slopes for 1 h and 3 h durations, indicating a shift towards mountainous areas. Seasonal differences are pronounced: winter/spring increases, while summer and autumn decreases significantly, with third-quarter Rx24h declining at 0.337 mm/a. The research results reveal the spatio-temporal differentiation law of short-term extreme precipitation in Hebei Province, providing a scientific basis for regional flood control and disaster reduction as well as adaptive management to climate change.

河北省地处东经113°27'~119°50'、北纬36°05'~42°40'之间,位于华北平原海河流域腹地,全省地貌呈现显著的多样性特征,西北部以山地为主,东南部以华北平原为主,发育形成独特的海岸地貌(图1)。气候属暖温带半湿润大陆性季风气候,降水集中在夏季,冬季干燥少雨且降水自东南向西北呈现递减。受地形和海陆位置的影响,区域气候差异显著。地形与气候的影响使其成为我国北方暴雨—洪涝灾害链的敏感区域[1],短历时极端降水易导致山洪、泥石流等水文气象灾害,因此研究河北省短历时极端降水的时空演变特征具有重要意义。目前,针对极端降水事件的时空分布特征及演变规律,现有研究多聚焦日尺度极端降水[2-3],如周彪等[4]揭示珠江流域热湿事件增加;梁雅楠[5]指出京津冀最大日降水量下降,但小时尺度极端降水的时空分布格局及变化趋势尚不清晰,而短历时极端降水直接驱动山洪形成,从而影响洪峰过程[6],其更能反映出场次降水的时间分布特征。为此,本文基于1980~2019年河北省142个国家基本气象站的逐小时降水数据,综合运用Mann-Kendall趋势及突变检验、K-means聚类算法、水文气象一致区等方法,从不同历时、一致区、地形等角度综合分析了河北省极端降水的变化趋势与突变特征,深刻理解其极端小时降水时间演变特征与空间分布规律,以期为山地—平原过渡带的水文气象灾害预警及气候适应性城市防灾减灾提供科学支撑。
降水数据采用1980~2019年河北省142个国家基本气象站的降水观测数据,包括1、3、6、12、24 h日最大降水量,分别记为Rx1h、Rx3h、Rx6h、Rx12h、Rx24h。所选站点分布均匀,满足代表性要求,数据来源于河北省气象局极值数据服务平台。数字高程模型(DEM)数据来源于地理空间数据云平台,空间分辨率为90 m×90 m。对于部分缺测数据,采用空间插值法进行插补。
Mann-Kendall(MK)趋势检验是一种非参数统计方法。在双边趋势检验中,Z值正负反映序列趋势,Z>0为上升,Z<0为下降。本文选取显著性水平α为0.05,其对应的统计量临界值为1.96,当|Z|≥1.96时趋势显著。
利用MK算法进行数据突变检验,通过统计序列UBkUFk分析序列突变的时间节点,显示突变的区域。若UFk>0,则表明序列呈上升趋势,反之则下降,且任一统计量超过临界线则趋势显著。若UBkUFk曲线出现两临界直线之间的交点,且统计变量超过临界直线,则交点对应的时刻即为突变开始的时刻。
依据站点经纬度、海拔高度(DEM)、坡度、坡向和年最大1、3、6、12 h的极端降水数据,采用K-means聚类算法划分水文气象一致区。采用肘部法则判定一致区划分结果,该方法通过绘制不同K值对应的聚类内误差和(SSE)判断。随着K值的增加,SSE通常会减小,即更多的集群意味着每个集群中的数据点更紧密,当K值增加到一定程度时,SSE的减少不显著,则该转折点被认为是最佳K值。
利用逐时降水数据计算各历时(1、3、6、12、24 h)最大降水量,基于泰森多边形法逐年计算河北省各历时下的平均最大降水量,以1981~2020年河北省各历时平均最大降水量的最大值为阈值,在高山、平原、南坡、北坡4种地形单元下分别讨论极端降水的扩张趋势,针对不同历时的降水,计算并统计站点极端降水量超过对应历时阈值的数量变化,本文定义为极端降水影响范围指数EPR,用于表征各地形单元极端降水影响范围,并采用MK趋势检验分析年际变化趋势,对比不同年际EPR变化以量化扩张趋势。即:
式中,P为河北省对应历时极端降水量阈值;pi为逐年河北省各历时平均最大降水量计算值;xi为某一地形单元内站点各历时最大降水量实测值;Ne为某一地形单元内站点极端降水量超过对应历时阈值时的站点数量;Nt为该地形单元内气象站点总数。
基于K-means聚类结果,利用肘部法则将河北省划分为5个水文气象一致区,结果见图2,当有5个聚类中心时,SSE曲线出现拐点,这表明将河北省划分为5个一致区最为合理。利用泰森多边形作为站点的控制区域,河北省最终的水文气象一致区和站点分布见图3。由图3可看出,划分结果与河北省的水文气候、地形分布特征基本一致。Ⅰ区对应燕山南麓丘陵带,以起伏的丘陵地形为主,冷暖空气交汇频繁,四季分明、降水集中但变化率较大的特征;Ⅱ区为坝上高原,以高海拔开阔地形为主,局地环流影响显著,形成独特的高原气候特征;Ⅲ区覆盖东南部滨海平原,地势低平,濒临黄海,其暖湿气流的影响使得该区域湿度较大,降水较为充沛;Ⅳ区为太行山东麓平原带,地势平坦,夏季因地形抬升形成地形雨,降水多且季节均匀;Ⅴ区为太行山山脉与平原过渡带,地形呈现阶梯状缓降特征,处于背风坡下沉气流区,抑制云层发展。
综上所述,河北省水文气象一致区的划分体现了地形起伏与水文气象要素在区域尺度上的深度耦合与共同作用,各区域地形地貌独特,气候差异较大,形成鲜明的水文气象特征。
利用克里金法对不同历时下河北省极端降水量进行空间插值,结果见图4。由图4可看出,Rx1h、Rx3h、Rx6h、Rx12h、Rx24h由东南沿海向西北内陆递减,原因可能是河北中部山脉阻隔,夏季东南季风难达内陆,冬季冷季风南下受地形阻挡,因此不同历时下河北省极端降水量的空间分布均呈现东南高、西北低的分布特点。Rx1h高值中心位于河北省东南部临海地区,随着历时的延长,河北省极端降水量高值中心向东北部燕山南麓丘陵带转移;Rx1h低值中心位于西北部坝上高原处,随着历时的延长,低值中心有向南扩张的趋势。在量级上,随着历时的延长,低值变化较小,高值变幅较大,其中Rx24h高值中心可达111 mm。结果表明,河北省短历时极端降水量空间分布不均,同时地形多样性使得邻近地区迎风坡降水和背风坡降水量相差较大。
基于MK趋势检验的河北省年最大降水量时空变化特征分析结果见图5。由图5可看出,年最大降水量的年际变化趋势空间差异性较大,其中Ⅱ、Ⅴ区的大部分站点呈现上升趋势,但显著性上升的站点数量较少;Ⅲ、Ⅳ区中大部分站点呈现下降趋势,且显著性下降的站点数量较多,且随着降水历时的递增,下降趋势愈发显著;对于Ⅰ区而言,其增长和下降趋势的站点各有分布。在短历时1 h尺度上,呈上升趋势的站点集中分布在Ⅲ、Ⅴ区,而呈下降趋势的站点集中分布在Ⅲ、Ⅳ区,Ⅰ区上升与下降趋势的站点分布较为均匀。随着降水历时的延长,Ⅴ区站点由显著性上升趋势转为非显著趋势,Ⅲ区部分站点由上升趋势转为下降趋势,Ⅳ区呈显著下降趋势站点数量增加。
基于MK突变趋势检验的河北省年最大降水量时空变化特征分析结果见图6。由图6可看出,各个一致区间年最大降水量的年际突变趋势差异性较大,其中Ⅰ、Ⅲ、Ⅳ区突变点主要在1996年,且随着历时的增加,突变更为明显,Ⅱ、Ⅴ区无明显突变点。在短历时1 h尺度上,Ⅰ区无明显突变,随着历时延长至6 h,Ⅰ区在1996年存在明显突变点,表明Ⅰ区长历时降水事件的累积效应更容易导致系统性趋势变化;而在不同历时上,Ⅱ、Ⅴ区的UFUB统计量均存在多个交点,但未超过临界值,表明其极端降水量级未呈现显著突变特征,年际波动主要受自然变率调控。
综上所述,河北省丘陵—平原地区短历时极端降水的量级在1996年前后突变特征显著,可能由于城市化进程与地形抬升作用改变了局地水汽通量和热力条件,导致1996年后极端降水事件量级跃升;高海拔山地地区短历时极端降水的量级无明显突变点,因人类活动干扰较少,复杂地形对降水的自然调控占主导地位,使得极端降水事件遵循自然气候变化规律。
图7为各季度短历时极端降水量面平均值的变化趋势。由图7可看出,第二、三季度的极端降水量值域较高且呈现下降趋势,该趋势随着历时的延长呈现增强态势,而第一、四季度则表现为上升趋势。具体而言,其中第三季度除Rx1h外,其余历时降水量下降趋势均较为明显,且Rx24h下降速率最快,达到0.337 mm/a。第二季度降水时序表现出显著非平稳性特征,在短历时Rx1h和Rx3h降幅未通过显著性检验,但长历时降水量呈现系统性衰减。第一季度的极端降水量在1980~2008年处于较低水平,年际变率小于5%,而2008年后发生显著气候跃变。第四季度整体波动幅度较小,但在2000~2005年出现异常高值震荡,虽然各历时降水量均呈上升趋势,但未突破显著性水平阈值。
研究表明,河北省短历时极端降水存在明显季节分异规律:冬春两季呈现降水增强趋势,夏秋两季则进入降水衰减期。冬季极端降水量在气候背景下保持相对稳定,春季在2008年后出现的降水量阶跃式增长可能与区域城市化热岛效应协同作用密切相关。
基于地形因子对气象站点进行分类研究,发现不同海拔与坡向条件下EPR呈现不同时间变化特征。研究区将站点按海拔高度划分为高山站(DEM≥500 m)和平原站(DEM<500 m),按坡向(Asp)划分为北坡(Asp>270°∪0°<Asp<90°)和南坡(90°≤Asp≤270°)。图8为不同历时和地形因子条件下极端降水影响范围指数EPR的年际变化趋势。按海拔高度来看,山地EPR呈现上升趋势,平原EPR呈现下降趋势;按坡向来看,南坡和北坡的EPR均呈现下降趋势。
随着历时的延长,平原站点和南坡站点的EPR下降趋势愈发显著,且在降雨历时6 h时下降趋势达到最大。对于山地而言,不同降雨历时下山地EPR均呈现不显著上升趋势,且对于长历时12、24 h而言,山地站点极端降水超过阈值的年份较少;对于北坡站点而言,在短历时1 h尺度下,EPR变化趋势不明显,随着历时的延长,EPR下降趋势增加,在降雨历时12 h时达到最大,下降幅度达0.19/a。由此可见,北坡遭遇极端降水超过阈值的可能性逐渐转向更短历时,且极端降水超过阈值所发生的地区逐渐由平原向山地转移。
a. 基于水文气象一致区的极端降水评估结果表明,平原极端降水减少趋势达0.28%/a,揭示了极端降水由平原向山地的空间再分配机制,其中1996年为短历时降水突变年,极端降水的量级在1996年后突变跃升。
b. 不同历时和地形因子条件下极端降水影响范围变化不一致,平原呈下降趋势而山地相反,随着历时的增加,平原和南坡的影响范围下降愈发显著,6 h下降趋势最大。
