In order to solve the problem that the response ability of a large mixed-flow hydropower unit is affected by the change of operating water head, a method based on the adaptive feedforward function is proposed for the application of the turbine's primary frequency regulation function. The 3D curve function library of turbine's water head, guide vane opening and power is introduced into the primary frequency regulation feedforward control of the turbine. According to the real-time water head and power and the position of guide vane, the power change corresponding to the frequency change is calculated through the 3D database to directly affect the output of the controller. Compared with the conventional control mode of primary frequency regulation, it is verified by field practice. The experimental results show that the feedforward function can not only satisfy the consistency of the next frequency regulation performance of different water heads, but also effectively avoid setting and switching multi-group PID control parameters. Thus, it provides a new way to realize the function of primary frequency regulation of hydraulic turbine units.

针对大型混流式水电机组一次调频响应能力受运行水头变化影响的问题,提出了一种基于自适应特性前馈功能在水轮机一次调频功能中应用的方法,即将水轮机水头、导叶开度及功率的三维曲线函数库引入到水轮机一次调频前馈控制环节中,根据实时的水头和功率大小及导叶位置,以频率变化对应功率变化大小,通过三维数据库计算出接力器的行程直接作用于控制器的输出,并与一次调频常规控制方式进行了现场实际对比验证。试验结果表明,采用该种前馈功能既满足不同水头下一次调频性能的一致性又有效地避免了设置切换多组PID控制参数。该结果为研究水轮机组一次调频功能实现提供了一种新的思路。

针对大型混流式水电机组一次调频响应能力受运行水头变化影响的问题,提出了一种基于自适应特性前馈功能在水轮机一次调频功能中应用的方法,即将水轮机水头、导叶开度及功率的三维曲线函数库引入到水轮机一次调频前馈控制环节中,根据实时的水头和功率大小及导叶位置,以频率变化对应功率变化大小,通过三维数据库计算出接力器的行程直接作用于控制器的输出,并与一次调频常规控制方式进行了现场实际对比验证。试验结果表明,采用该种前馈功能既满足不同水头下一次调频性能的一致性又有效地避免了设置切换多组PID控制参数。该结果为研究水轮机组一次调频功能实现提供了一种新的思路。

In order to solve the problem that the response ability of a large mixed-flow hydropower unit is affected by the change of operating water head, a method based on the adaptive feedforward function is proposed for the application of the turbine's primary frequency regulation function. The 3D curve function library of turbine's water head, guide vane opening and power is introduced into the primary frequency regulation feedforward control of the turbine. According to the real-time water head and power and the position of guide vane, the power change corresponding to the frequency change is calculated through the 3D database to directly affect the output of the controller. Compared with the conventional control mode of primary frequency regulation, it is verified by field practice. The experimental results show that the feedforward function can not only satisfy the consistency of the next frequency regulation performance of different water heads, but also effectively avoid setting and switching multi-group PID control parameters. Thus, it provides a new way to realize the function of primary frequency regulation of hydraulic turbine units.

水电机组一次调频作为电网频率控制的重要组成部分,其一次调频能力影响着电网的动态稳定性[1]。传统的水电机组调节系统多采用比例—积分—微分(PID)控制策略,其控制方式主要以开度反馈和功率反馈等形成闭环控制[2]。对大型混流式运行水头变幅大且影响机组一次调频响应能力的水电机组,为满足一次调频性能在不同水头下需要PID参数与水头进行适应性关联[3]。刘子全等[4]详细计算分析了频率模态对电网低频振荡的影响因素,仿真验证了调速系统控制参数对电网所提供的低频振荡阻尼的大小和正负相关性;程实等[5]提出了PID参数与水头协联功能,将水头分段,各水头优选PID参数,并通过对大量一次调频试验数据的分析整理,结合调速器仿真软件计算结果,确定不同水头下最优PID参数,并根据水头变化进行PID参数切换;苏亚鹏等[6-9]为抑制电网超低频振荡问题,提出了一种兼顾阻尼振荡和一次调频动态性能的水轮机调速系统参数优化策略;杨若朴等[10]研究了在不同水电比例下系统的阻尼水平的变化,并为了适应一次调频响应性和动作性能之间的最优,提出了一种多水轮机调速器参数的优化方法。上述研究均在某一特定条件下,提高了一次调频动态响应性能。现有研究结果表明,水轮机一次调频动态响应性能与水头及调速器控制参数有直接关系,且与导叶开度位置也有关系,但大多数研究主要集中在对参数进行优化上,而极少对一次调频控制策略进行研究。对此,本文提出了引入水头、导叶开度及功率三者关系的函数库作为一次调频前馈方法,既充分考虑了水头和导叶开度位置的影响,又兼顾了一次调频性能。
目前常规水轮机功率模式下一次调频控制逻辑见图1图1中,Δf为频率差值;pe为功率反馈值;pref为功率设定值;ep为功率差值系数;PGV为调速控制器输出。
水轮机单位时间内的水力功率N的计算公式为:
式中,N为水轮机的水力功率;γ为水的重度;Q为流量;H为水轮机工作水头。
根据水轮机单位时间内的水力功率,确定水轮机的第一流量调节方程为:
式中,g为重力加速度;ηg为水力效率;ω为导水叶片出口处角速度;r为导水叶片出口处半径;b0为导叶高度;α0为导叶出口处流出角;ηr为轮叶效率;A2为转轮叶片出口边处过流面积;β2为转轮叶片出口角。
由式(1)、(2)可知,水轮机单位时间内的水力功率受水头和导叶/轮叶位置双重因素影响,水力功率、水头和导叶/轮叶位置具有单一对应性,无数无重合线束组组成三维数据库。
在水轮机控制系统PID参数不变的情况下,一次调频性能随着水头和导叶位置不同而变化。
基于常规水轮机功率模式下一次调频性能受约束条件,提出利用功率、水头和导叶三维数据库做为控制环节的前馈,其实质是类似火电机组的变前馈+反馈控制的控制策略(图2)。
在该控制策略中,是以前馈调节为主,PID控制参数调节为辅的控制模式,根据实时的水头和功率大小及导叶/桨叶位置,以频率变化对应的功率变化大小,通过三维数据库计算出接力器的行程直接作用于控制器的输出。在前馈精准程度达到控制目标稳态调节范围内时,这样能保证在不同的水头和工况下,通过前馈的自适应变化确保一次调频性能保持一致性,同时也减少了一次调频性能对控制参数的依赖。
《并网电源一次调频技术规定及试验导则》中水轮机功率模式下一次调频动态性能指标规定:①响应时间。自频差超出一次调频死区开始,至接力器变化开始变化的时间不大于2 s,或至有功功率开始变化的时间不大于2 s。②一次调频功率上升时间。一次调频有功功率上升时间应不大于15 s。③一次调频功率调节时间。一次调频有功功率调节时间应不大于30 s。
为对比分析两种不同一次调频控制策略的一次调频性能,在某电站700 MW混流式水轮机进行了不同水头、不同导叶位置和不同频差实际扰动验证。
机组功率模式下PID参数设置为KP=4、KI=1.0、KD=0,分别在水头81.2、106、110 m进行了-0.15 Hz(包含死区)的频差扰动,其负荷响应曲线见图3,其一次调频性能指标见表1
图3表1可知,当水头为81.2 m时,其一次调频指标均不满足标准要求,高水头时一次调频动态指标与低水头时动态指标差距明显。
机组在具有自适应前馈功能功率模式下PID参数设置为KP=1、KI=0.1、KD=0,分别在水头81.2、106、110 m进行了-0.15 Hz(包含死区)的频差扰动,其负荷响应曲线见图4,其一次调频性能指标见表2
图4表2可知,在功率模式同一组PID控制参数时,不同水头下的一次调频指标均满足标准要求。
机组在具有自适应前馈功能的功率模式下,在110 m水头、不同参数下进行了-0.15 Hz(包含死区)的频差扰动,其负荷响应曲线见图5
图5可知,功率模式下自适应前馈调节量与导叶稳态调节量偏差小到一定范围时,其一次调频调节特性与功率模式PID参数相关性不大,仅与自适应前馈大小有关。
a. 基于自适应特性前馈功能的控制策略,由于引入水头、导叶开度及功率三维数据库,将不同水头和导叶不同位置与功率变化量一一对应,有效解决了机组运行水头变化的影响和不同导叶位置流量特性的影响,使机组一次调频性能在任何工况下保持一致性成为可能。
b. 本文所提出的新一次调频控制策略,在自适应前馈的精度达到一定程度时,理论上可无限减小控制参数,为提高超低频振荡模式的阻尼水平提供了新的手段。
c. 三维数据库需要详尽的历史数据对其进行支撑,其精准度影响机组一次调频性能一致性程度。
