The study of the distribution characteristics of crown biomass of Dalbergia odorifera plantation can provide theoretical basis for reasonable evaluation of stand biomass and adjustment of crown structure. In this paper, D. odorifera plantation aged 10-12 a in Dongfang, Hainan, China was taken as the research object. Two sample plots (S1 and S2) with different site conditions were set up, and the crown of the sample trees over 4.5 m was cut off. The biomass of each organ in the canopy was obtained by layered cutting method and total weighing method, and the optimal biomass fitting equation of each organ was established. (1) The order of biomass in each organ was bare branch>branch bark>leaf. The total biomass of bare branches, branch bark and canopy was S1>S2, while the leaf biomass was S1<S2. (2) With the increase of canopy class, the biomass of bare branches and branch bark of S1 and S2 showed a wave-like change, in which S1 increased first and then decreased, while S2 was the opposite. As a whole, the leaf biomass increased first and then decreased, in which S1 was mainly distributed in the middle and upper layers of the crown, while S2 was mainly distributed in the lower layers. The upper layer of the canopy of S1 was more competitive than that of S2, there has been serious natural thinning of canopy, the leaf biomass gradually shifted from the lower layer to the middle and upper layers.(3) The optimal fitting model of biomass was power function, which was the total biomass of crown [y=3.904(D2H)1.247], canopy bare branches [y=1.901(D2H)1.28], canopy branch bark [y=0.734(D2H)1.276], and canopy leaves (y=3.86D2.791).

研究降香黄檀(Dalbergia odorifera T. Chen)人工林树冠生物量的分布特征,可以为合理的评估林分生物量和调整树冠结构提供理论依据。本研究以海南东方市林龄为10~12 a的降香黄檀人工林为研究对象,设置2种不同立地条件样地(S1和S2),对4.5 m以上样木截冠处理,采用分层切割法和全量称重法获取树冠层各器官生物量,建立各器官最优生物量拟合方程。结果表明:(1)冠层各器官中生物量大小顺序为裸枝>枝皮>叶片;裸枝、枝皮和冠层总生物量为S1>S2,叶片生物量则为S1<S2。(2)随着冠层层次的增高,S1和S2裸枝和枝皮生物量均呈波浪形变化,其中S1表现为先增加再下降,而S2则与之相反;叶片生物量整体呈先上升再下降的趋势,其中S1集中分布在树冠中上层,S2主要分布在下层。S1较S2树冠上层生长竞争更激烈,已出现冠层严重的自然稀疏,叶生物量逐渐由下层转移至中上层。(3)生物量最优拟合模型为幂函数形式,分别为树冠总生物量[y=3.904(D2H1.247]、冠裸枝[y=1.901(D2H1.28]、冠枝皮[y=0.734(D2H1.276]、叶片(y=3.86D2.791)。

研究降香黄檀(Dalbergia odorifera T. Chen)人工林树冠生物量的分布特征,可以为合理的评估林分生物量和调整树冠结构提供理论依据。本研究以海南东方市林龄为10~12 a的降香黄檀人工林为研究对象,设置2种不同立地条件样地(S1和S2),对4.5 m以上样木截冠处理,采用分层切割法和全量称重法获取树冠层各器官生物量,建立各器官最优生物量拟合方程。结果表明:(1)冠层各器官中生物量大小顺序为裸枝>枝皮>叶片;裸枝、枝皮和冠层总生物量为S1>S2,叶片生物量则为S1<S2。(2)随着冠层层次的增高,S1和S2裸枝和枝皮生物量均呈波浪形变化,其中S1表现为先增加再下降,而S2则与之相反;叶片生物量整体呈先上升再下降的趋势,其中S1集中分布在树冠中上层,S2主要分布在下层。S1较S2树冠上层生长竞争更激烈,已出现冠层严重的自然稀疏,叶生物量逐渐由下层转移至中上层。(3)生物量最优拟合模型为幂函数形式,分别为树冠总生物量[y=3.904(D2H1.247]、冠裸枝[y=1.901(D2H1.28]、冠枝皮[y=0.734(D2H1.276]、叶片(y=3.86D2.791)。

The study of the distribution characteristics of crown biomass of Dalbergia odorifera plantation can provide theoretical basis for reasonable evaluation of stand biomass and adjustment of crown structure. In this paper, D. odorifera plantation aged 10-12 a in Dongfang, Hainan, China was taken as the research object. Two sample plots (S1 and S2) with different site conditions were set up, and the crown of the sample trees over 4.5 m was cut off. The biomass of each organ in the canopy was obtained by layered cutting method and total weighing method, and the optimal biomass fitting equation of each organ was established. (1) The order of biomass in each organ was bare branch>branch bark>leaf. The total biomass of bare branches, branch bark and canopy was S1>S2, while the leaf biomass was S1<S2. (2) With the increase of canopy class, the biomass of bare branches and branch bark of S1 and S2 showed a wave-like change, in which S1 increased first and then decreased, while S2 was the opposite. As a whole, the leaf biomass increased first and then decreased, in which S1 was mainly distributed in the middle and upper layers of the crown, while S2 was mainly distributed in the lower layers. The upper layer of the canopy of S1 was more competitive than that of S2, there has been serious natural thinning of canopy, the leaf biomass gradually shifted from the lower layer to the middle and upper layers.(3) The optimal fitting model of biomass was power function, which was the total biomass of crown [y=3.904(D2H)1.247], canopy bare branches [y=1.901(D2H)1.28], canopy branch bark [y=0.734(D2H)1.276], and canopy leaves (y=3.86D2.791).

降香黄檀(Dalbergia odorifera T. Chen)系海南特有的珍贵乡土树种之一,属豆科(Fabaceae)黄檀属(Dalbergia)乔木[1],现存野生资源极度稀缺,是国家二级保护植物[2],其心材广泛应用于上等工艺品和入药,对心脑血管的疾病治疗有一定的功效[3]。因其生态和经济价值较高,20世纪60年代开始,在广西、广东、云南和福建等亚热带地区均有引种栽植[4]。目前,降香黄檀人工林在海南省种植面积达到6331 hm2,总蓄积量将近123 599 m3,其中东方市人工林资源占据榜首[3]
目前很多学者对降香黄檀的研究大多集中在种质资源收集、改良[5]和栽培技术、生理生化[6]以及生长规律[7]等方面。此外,降香黄檀在中幼龄林开始形成心材,且活立木价值珍贵,难以获取各器官生物量数据,导致对其生物量的研究较为少见。
树冠与树木的生长生理活动和干粗之间存在关联[8-9],随着林龄的增加,林木间的竞争愈发激烈,尤其是当树冠层逐渐郁闭,林木步入自然稀疏阶段时,对树干木材形成会产生影响。通过合理调整树冠结构,可提升降香黄檀的心材形成率[10]及单位面积成龄株数。对树冠生物量进行分层研究,有助于深入理解树冠结构及其冠层各器官生物量的具体分配状况[11],为进一步实施树冠结构的科学调整和有效评估降香黄檀人工林生态系统碳计量提供理论支持。本研究选取海南东方市中幼龄林降香黄檀人工林作为实验对象,拟通过理解降香黄檀人工林树冠生物量分配特征,为有效评估降香黄檀人工林生物量及优化树冠结构提供理论依据。
研究区位于海南省东方市的花梨谷文化旅游区(108°73′42″~108°74′53″E,18°73′39″~18°72′76″N)和汇利花梨共享山庄(109°02′19″~109°02′74″E,19°01′42″~19°01′10″N),地处海南岛西北部,东方市年平均气温为25 ℃,极端气温多出现于1—2月和5—7月,年降雨量为940~1900 mm,全年日照时数约为2543 h,为海南省最干旱地区。所选研究区降香黄檀人工林为10~12年生中幼龄林,花梨谷、汇利种植面积分别为600、200.04 hm2,造林初值密度为1250株/hm2,现存密度为1219株/hm2
2023年7月于东方市永涛花梨谷(S1)和汇利花梨山庄(S2)设置2个林龄和密度相似的样地(表1),样地内树木长势良好,在每块样地内设置3个3 m×20 m的样方,对样方内的样木进行每木检尺,测量其树高、胸径、郁闭度等信息,每一个样方为1个重复,并在样方内选择冠形生长正常,无病虫害的个体,作为树冠生物量测定样木,S1和S2样木数分别为24株(每重复8株)和18株(每重复6株)。将样木按胸径级划分为3级:4.5~7 cm、7~9.5 cm、9.6~13.3 cm,分别为4、18、20株,共42株样木,各级胸径在各重复中均匀分布,样木冠长为1.5~5 m,冠幅为2.25~5.35 m。
枝、叶生物量的测定采用分层切割法和全量称重法。因降香黄檀培育的目标为4~5 m以下的主干心材,多数枝条无心材,所以本实验对选取的样木4.5 m以上树冠进行截冠处理,截冠后按50 cm为一个层次从下至上分层切割并进行编号(C1、C2…Cn),并立即将枝叶分离,分别称量每层的枝条、叶片鲜重并取样(样品质量约为50~100 g)。按层次从各枝条上截取3 cm的圆盘称其鲜重并编号,枝皮率通过截取的各层次圆盘测定。将样品带回实验室在85 ℃恒温下烘干至恒重,测算树冠各层枝、叶含水率。根据含水率计算各层次枝、叶生物量,通过累加全部层次的枝、叶片生物量获得每层枝条的枝生物量(WB)和叶生物量(WL)以及枝叶总生物量(WBL),然后依据单木树冠总生物量和降香黄檀人工林现存密度进行单位面积树冠生物量推算。公式如下:
式中,i代表层次编号,n代表树冠的冠层数,Wbi代表各层枝总鲜重,Wli代表各层次叶片总鲜重;WB为枝条生物量,WL为叶生物量,WBL为枝叶总生物量。
采用Excel 2023与SPSS 22.0软件,以树冠层各器官生物量为因变量,以胸径(DBH)、树高(H)、胸径平方乘树高(D2H)作为自变量,采用线性、幂函数、指数等模型进行回归拟合,以FP值和R2评定模型的拟合程度,筛选最优模型。
冠层各器官生物量在不同立地条件下呈现不同水平(表2),S1的树冠总生物量为22.03 t/hm2,比S2高0.19倍,可见S1立地条件优于S2。S1和S2于各器官生物量的分配均表现为裸枝占比最大(63.93%和57.49%),其次为枝皮(23.58%和21.73%),叶占比最低(12.49%和20.8%)。裸枝和枝皮的生物量均表现为S1显著高于S2P<0.05),S1分别为S2的0.32和0.29倍,叶生物量差异不显著,S2较S1高0.4倍(图1)。
生物量分布特征分析结果显示(表3):S1裸枝生物量集中分布在1~8层,具体分布表现为C1>C3>C2>C4>C6>C7>C5>C8>C9>C10,C1~C8层生物量占裸枝总生物量的比例均超过9.2%,其中C1层生物量最高,为1.93 t/hm2,占裸枝总生物量的13.72%,C10最低,为0.13 t/hm2,比C1低93.26%。在S2中,裸枝生物量集中分布在1~5层,具体分布表现为C2>C1>C3>C4>C5>C6>C9>C10>C8>C7,其中C7生物量最低,为0.15 t/hm2,仅为C2最大生物量(2.56 t/hm2)的0.06倍。对比S1和S2,S2中C2生物量最大值,比S1的最大值(C1)高32.64%。
2种立地条件下裸枝和枝皮生物量均随冠层层次的增高呈“波浪”型变化,但其分布特征存在差异(图2)。随着层次的增高,枝皮生物量于S1的变化呈先下降后上升的趋势,最大值出现在C7,达到0.89 t/hm2,相较于C10高8.9倍。S2中枝皮生物量变化趋势与S1相反,表现为先上升后下降,其最大值为C4(0.83 t/hm2),最小值出现在C7~C8。比较两地最大值,S1(C7)高S2(C4)7.2%。
不同立地降香黄檀人工林分冠层裸枝与枝皮生物量在冠层间分布差异较大,但在C1~C5层分布相对稳定,树冠中下层相对大于上层,表明随着层次增高,裸枝与枝皮生物量分布逐渐减少。
叶片生物量在不同立地条件下的分布层次存在差异。随着层次增高,S1的叶生物量总体呈现上升趋势,中下层显著低于上层(图3)。S2的叶生物量主要集中于中下层,整体趋势为先上升后下降。在S1中,叶生物量集中分布于C6~C9,最大值和最小值分布在C8(0.78 t/hm2)和C1(0.01 t/hm2);在S2叶生物量集中分布于C1~C5,C5最大(0.92 t/hm2),C8最小(0.05 t/hm2)。观察总冠层叶片生物量,S2较S1高约0.4倍,尽管S1的平均胸径和树高均大于S2,但其叶生物量相对较低,表明S1已进入较为严重的自然稀疏阶段。
根据生物量回归模型[12-14],将林木易测因子与冠层各器官生物量进行相关性分析(表4),发现胸径、D2H与冠层各器官生物量间存在极显著正相关关系。此外,树高仅与裸枝和枝皮生物量表现出显著相关性,而与叶片生物量无显著关联。进一步分析显示,胸径、D2H以及树高均与单株树冠总生物量呈极显著正相关。结果表明,以林木易测因子为自变量,降香黄檀冠层各器官生物量为因变量,可建立相关模型并实现回归拟合。
在对树冠总生物量的方程拟合过程中,筛选结果表明(表5),以DD2H作为自变量所拟合的方程具有较高的R2值(图4),显示出与树冠生物量之间的极显著相关性。具体而言,以D2H为自变量的幂函数方程,其R2值达到最大值0.771,且P值趋近于0,差异达到极显著水平。据此,幂函数模型y=3.904(D2H1.247被认为是最优模型,适用于估算中幼龄林降香黄檀的树冠生物量。
表6图5分析得出,裸枝生物量与H变量间关联性不显著,然而,与DD2H的关联性显著。在拟合过程中,以D2H为自变量所得的幂函数方程判定系数R2显著高于以DH为自变量的方程。此外,P值接近0,表明差异极显著。因此,D2H作为自变量构建的幂函数方程为描述裸枝生物量的最佳模型:y=1.901(D2H1.282
枝皮生物量方程的拟合结果与裸枝生物量方程相似(表7图6)。最终确定的回归方程是以D2H作为自变量,呈现幂函数形式,R2为0.750,P值接近0,该方程表达式为:y=0.734(D2H1.276
表8图7数据显示,叶片生物量与变量DD2H的相关系数均高于H,表现出显著相关(P值均为0)在三者中,以D为自变量所拟合的方程的判定系数R2值最高,达到0.612。基于此,选取以D为自变量建立的幂函数方程y=3.86D2.791作为描述降香黄檀叶片生物量的最佳模型。
冠层各器官生物量在一定程度上能够反映树冠的结构特征。其中,叶片作为林木进行光合作用的关键器官,其分布层次间的差异可能与光照、郁闭度等环境因子密切相关。降香黄檀树冠不同器官的生物量在不同立地条件下分布层次存在显著差异。具体来看,枝条和叶片生物量在S2中均集中于C1~C6,即树冠垂直剖面的下层,其中C2和C4~C5的生物量达到最大值,呈现正态分布,这与杨东等[15]的研究结论相一致;在S1样地,生物量则集中分布于C1~C8和C7~C9,即树冠垂直剖面的中下层和上层。这表明叶片在中下层的分布极少,这是由于林分郁闭后,林木树冠生长空间减小,枝条开始交错,下层叶片的生物量积累效率降低[16]。随着林木间竞争的加剧,S1的树冠各器官生物量的分布层次已经发生转移,叶片分布层次不再符合树冠叶量最大特性。通过改变树冠结构,可以对其生长模式产生影响。有研究表明,对林木进行修枝有助于改善光照环境,通过合理的光合作用分配,维持其下部主干生长[17-18]。此外,定期截冠可以疏开树冠,增加单株叶面积,在保持林木生长的同时,有利于保持降香黄檀人工林单位面积的成龄株数。
在林龄、现存密度和营林措施相似的情况下,S1的平均胸径、树高和单木树冠生物量均大于S2,表明S1的立地质量可能更好。但从树冠结构来看,S1样地的降香黄檀人工林已进入自然稀疏阶段,树冠进入郁闭状态,叶片集中在树冠上表层,这不利于下层器官的生物量累积和降香黄檀干材的形成,在人工林经营中建议采取树冠调控措施以改善林内生长环境。
本研究通过构建降香黄檀树冠层各器官生物量方程,发现3种自变量因子与大部分器官生物量之间存在显著相关性,且模型预估精度较高。其中,最优自变量为DD2H,其中D2H对树冠生物量的影响最为显著,这与胡炎红等[19]研究结论相吻合。此外,胸径与叶片生物量的模型拟合度较高,这与前人的生物量模型研究论相符[20]。然而,树高与各器官生物量之间的相关性相对较差,这可能会对冠层器官生物量的预估精度产生影响[14],尤其是与叶片生物量之间的相关性不显著,这可能是由于树高数据的获取准确性较低所导致。因此,在缺少树高数据或测量不准确的情况下,可以考虑使以胸径作为自变量构建生物量方程。
本研究分析了海南中龄林降香黄檀人工林树冠生物量的分配特征,树冠层各器官生物量占比裸枝最高,枝皮次之,叶片最低。从生物量的贡献量看,树枝(裸枝和枝皮)生物量占绝对优势,占比达79%以上。生物量幂函数方程优于线性和指数函数方程。最优自变量则根据各器官有所差异,最优拟合方程分别为:树冠[y=3.904(D2H1.247]、裸枝[y=1.901(D2H1.282]、枝皮[y=0.734(D2H1.276]、叶片(y=3.86D2.791)。在模型的利用上,本研究仅对降香黄檀10~12年生的人工林树冠生物量进行了建模,今后尚需补充完善更多年龄组数据,对所建模型进行优化和校正。
