KOH was used as the activator combined with ultrasonic treatment to treat rubber seed shell to prepare activated carbon, and the best preparation conditions were optimized. The surface structure of the chemical carbon was regulated by controlling the preparation and processing conditions. The physical and chemical properties of the active carbon were characterized by specific surface area voidness analyzer, FT-IR, SEM, element analyzer, and TGA. The adsorption capacity of methylene blue and iodine was investigated. The optimal preparation conditions were reagent∶material ratio 1∶1, ultrasonic action for 60 minutes, activation time for 60 minutes, and activation temperature of 700 ℃. Activation temperature had the greatest impact on the adsorption capacity of activated carbon, followed by the reagent to material ratio and ultrasonic time, with the activation time having the smallest impact. The absorption of methylene blue was 400 mg/g, and iodine was 1340.2 mg/g, respectively. The yield was 25.9%, the specific surface area was 1034.5009 m2/g, and the total pore volume was 0.9511 cm3/g with ultrasonic pretreatment (UAC). The adsorption value of methylene blue was 300 mg/g, iodine adsorption value was 894.0 mg/g, yield was 20.8%, specific surface area was 690.2461 m2/g, total pore volume was 0.6830 cm3/g without ultrasoni pretreatment (NAC). Both contained hydroxyl, alcohol hydroxyl and carbonyl functional groups. This is conducive to the enhancement of adsorption performance, and the characteristics of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin were obvious. The nitrogen adsorption isotherm of the rubber seed shell activated carbon was type Ⅰ. Activated carbon contained a large number of microporous structures with uniform distribution. There was no pore structure on the surface of the rubber seed shell, and there were a large number of pore structures on the activated carbon surface after KOH activation. The surface of UAC activated carbon was smooth and flat, with many rich and regular pore structures. In contrast, the pore surface of NAC had many small pores, and the surface was rough. The carbon (C) content in the rubber seed shells was rich. After KOH activation, the C content of the activated carbon prepared by ultrasonic treatment and activated carbon prepared without ultrasonic treatment increased from 56.81% to 75.97% and 64.89%, respectively. However, the content of hydrogen (H) and nitrogen (N) decreased, making it an excellent raw material for activated carbon. The TGA results indicate that the sample activated by KOH was more stable than the rubber seed shell, and the total weight of UAC and NAC samples tended to stabilize after losing 62% and 68%, respectively. In conclusion, the better performance of the samples prepared by ultrasonic pretreatment indicates that the cavitation effect of ultrasonic wave acts on the structural surface of the activated carbon, causing it to undergo structural changes, thus, the adsorption capability of the active carbon, the specific surface area, etc. are enhanced.

以农业废弃物橡胶籽壳为原料,以KOH为活化剂,与超声处理相结合制备活性炭,通过调整制备处理条件对活性炭的表面结构进行调控,以获得最佳制备条件。采用傅里叶显微红外、扫描电镜、元素分析、热重分析等手段,研究活性炭的物理化学特性,考察其吸附能力,并比较超声预处理与未超声预处理的活性炭的特性。研究得出最优制备条件为:剂料比为1∶1,超声作用时间为60 min,活化时间为60 min,活化温度为700 ℃。超声预处理后的活性炭(UAC)的亚甲基蓝吸附值为400 mg/g、碘吸附值为1340.2 mg/g、得率达25.9%,总孔容为0.9511 cm3/g,比表面积为1034.5009 m2/g;未经超声预处理的活性炭(NAC)的亚甲基蓝吸附值为300 mg/g,碘吸附值为894.0 mg/g,得率为20.8%,比表面积为690.2461 m2/g,总孔容为0.6830 cm3/g。二者均含羟基、醇羟基、羰基官能团,橡胶籽壳活性炭的氮气吸附等温线为Ⅰ型。KOH活化后的活性炭表面存有大量孔结构,UAC活性炭表面光滑平整,有许多丰富规则的孔结构,优于NAC活性炭。橡胶籽壳的碳(C)含量丰富,经过KOH活化后,UAC和NAC的C含量由原来的56.81%,分别提高到75.97%、64.89%。KOH活化后的样品比橡胶籽壳更加稳定,UAC和NAC样品的总重量分别损失62%和68%之后趋于稳定。综上所述,超声处理制备的活性炭性能更佳,说明超声波的空化效应作用在活性炭结构表面,使其结构发生变化,进而提高其吸附性能、比表面积等。

Preparation of Activated Carbon Based on Ultrasonically Modified Rubber Seed Shells

以农业废弃物橡胶籽壳为原料,以KOH为活化剂,与超声处理相结合制备活性炭,通过调整制备处理条件对活性炭的表面结构进行调控,以获得最佳制备条件。采用傅里叶显微红外、扫描电镜、元素分析、热重分析等手段,研究活性炭的物理化学特性,考察其吸附能力,并比较超声预处理与未超声预处理的活性炭的特性。研究得出最优制备条件为:剂料比为1∶1,超声作用时间为60 min,活化时间为60 min,活化温度为700 ℃。超声预处理后的活性炭(UAC)的亚甲基蓝吸附值为400 mg/g、碘吸附值为1340.2 mg/g、得率达25.9%,总孔容为0.9511 cm3/g,比表面积为1034.5009 m2/g;未经超声预处理的活性炭(NAC)的亚甲基蓝吸附值为300 mg/g,碘吸附值为894.0 mg/g,得率为20.8%,比表面积为690.2461 m2/g,总孔容为0.6830 cm3/g。二者均含羟基、醇羟基、羰基官能团,橡胶籽壳活性炭的氮气吸附等温线为Ⅰ型。KOH活化后的活性炭表面存有大量孔结构,UAC活性炭表面光滑平整,有许多丰富规则的孔结构,优于NAC活性炭。橡胶籽壳的碳(C)含量丰富,经过KOH活化后,UAC和NAC的C含量由原来的56.81%,分别提高到75.97%、64.89%。KOH活化后的样品比橡胶籽壳更加稳定,UAC和NAC样品的总重量分别损失62%和68%之后趋于稳定。综上所述,超声处理制备的活性炭性能更佳,说明超声波的空化效应作用在活性炭结构表面,使其结构发生变化,进而提高其吸附性能、比表面积等。

KOH was used as the activator combined with ultrasonic treatment to treat rubber seed shell to prepare activated carbon, and the best preparation conditions were optimized. The surface structure of the chemical carbon was regulated by controlling the preparation and processing conditions. The physical and chemical properties of the active carbon were characterized by specific surface area voidness analyzer, FT-IR, SEM, element analyzer, and TGA. The adsorption capacity of methylene blue and iodine was investigated. The optimal preparation conditions were reagent∶material ratio 1∶1, ultrasonic action for 60 minutes, activation time for 60 minutes, and activation temperature of 700 ℃. Activation temperature had the greatest impact on the adsorption capacity of activated carbon, followed by the reagent to material ratio and ultrasonic time, with the activation time having the smallest impact. The absorption of methylene blue was 400 mg/g, and iodine was 1340.2 mg/g, respectively. The yield was 25.9%, the specific surface area was 1034.5009 m2/g, and the total pore volume was 0.9511 cm3/g with ultrasonic pretreatment (UAC). The adsorption value of methylene blue was 300 mg/g, iodine adsorption value was 894.0 mg/g, yield was 20.8%, specific surface area was 690.2461 m2/g, total pore volume was 0.6830 cm3/g without ultrasoni pretreatment (NAC). Both contained hydroxyl, alcohol hydroxyl and carbonyl functional groups. This is conducive to the enhancement of adsorption performance, and the characteristics of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin were obvious. The nitrogen adsorption isotherm of the rubber seed shell activated carbon was type Ⅰ. Activated carbon contained a large number of microporous structures with uniform distribution. There was no pore structure on the surface of the rubber seed shell, and there were a large number of pore structures on the activated carbon surface after KOH activation. The surface of UAC activated carbon was smooth and flat, with many rich and regular pore structures. In contrast, the pore surface of NAC had many small pores, and the surface was rough. The carbon (C) content in the rubber seed shells was rich. After KOH activation, the C content of the activated carbon prepared by ultrasonic treatment and activated carbon prepared without ultrasonic treatment increased from 56.81% to 75.97% and 64.89%, respectively. However, the content of hydrogen (H) and nitrogen (N) decreased, making it an excellent raw material for activated carbon. The TGA results indicate that the sample activated by KOH was more stable than the rubber seed shell, and the total weight of UAC and NAC samples tended to stabilize after losing 62% and 68%, respectively. In conclusion, the better performance of the samples prepared by ultrasonic pretreatment indicates that the cavitation effect of ultrasonic wave acts on the structural surface of the activated carbon, causing it to undergo structural changes, thus, the adsorption capability of the active carbon, the specific surface area, etc. are enhanced.

活性炭(activated carbon)已广泛应用于环保、食品、医药等众多邻域中[1]。NIKAM等[2]、蒋汶[3]、李盛艳[4]、祝华明等[5]、李琛等[6]利用活性炭作为吸附剂分别应用于除湿系统、低度白酒除浊、食品抑制剂、茶油中多环芳烃(PAHs)和食品高浓度废水等,吸附效果显著。当前常用的活性炭制备活化方法有物理活化、化学活化、物理化学活化等[7-8]。椰壳、棕榈叶、白洋淀芦苇、稻壳碳、松子壳等生物质材料已广泛应用于活性炭的制备[9-13]。利用生物质作为生产活性炭的可持续原材料不仅可以固定生物质中的碳,减少CO2或CH4的产生,而且将其转化为有价值的炭材料,实现了碳的循环利用,绿色环保,能为我国实现碳中和目标发挥一定作用。
关于活性炭制备方法的研究还有很多值得探索的地方,在原料上,要积极寻找成本低廉、易得的原料,以制备出比表面积更大、吸附性能更好的活性炭;在制备方法上,要不断地探索和改进,开发出工艺简单、成效显著、环境友好的新工艺。要解决上述问题,需广大研究者不断深入研究。
橡胶籽(rubber seed)为大戟科乔木巴西三叶橡胶(Hevea brasiliensis)蒴果的种子,是橡胶种植业的副产物[14]。我国橡胶籽产地主要分布于海南、广东、广西、福建、云南和台湾5个省(区),每年产量约100多万t,长久以来,仅在云南有少数企业加工开发利用橡胶籽,超过90%的橡胶籽尚未得到有效的开发和利用,造成资源浪费[15]。橡胶籽总重的1/3是籽壳,其中半纤维素、纤维素、木质素、树脂和铁质含量丰富,灰分含量低,挥发分含量较高,是制备活性炭的优良原料,能有效丰富我国活性炭原料来源[16]
超声波的空化作用是超声强化浸出工艺的关键。超声波通过液体介质时,发生空化效应,在液相中形成大量空化泡,空化泡会发生膨胀、收缩、塌陷等一系列化学反应,可利用超声波的这一特性,来调整活性炭的表面结构,增强活性炭的吸附性能[17]
基于以上发现,本研究以废弃生物质橡胶籽壳为原料,在传统活性炭制备工艺的基础上,增加超声处理步骤,使橡胶籽壳在炭化之前变得更加破碎,在炭化时炭化程度更高,提高炭化率,以进一步改善橡胶籽壳活性炭的结构特征,构建一种吸附性能优良且得率高的橡胶籽活性炭,并探讨活性炭的表面形貌、结构特征对吸附性能的作用机制,为充分高效利用橡胶籽资源提供理论依据和新思路。
橡胶籽壳:采自湛江市橡胶林成熟掉落的橡胶籽,晾干后脱壳所得。
主要仪器与设备:比表面积及孔隙度分析仪(美国麦克,型号:ASAP2460),傅里叶显微红外光谱仪(美国赛默飞,型号:Thermo Nicolet iN10),扫描电子显微镜(日本日立,型号:S4800),元素分析仪(德国Elemantar,型号:Vario EL cube),热重-气质联用仪(美国PE,型号:TGA8000/SQ8T),可见光分光光度计(上海仪电,型号:722N),数控高温电炉(美国TOPPER,型号:TOPPER-31750A),分析天平(日本岛津,型号:AUY220),数显电热板(格丹纳仪器,型号:HT-300),超声波清洗仪(美国Sonlcs公司,型号:Somcs VCX800),热风循环干燥箱(德国BINDER,型号:FP115)。
主要试剂:浓盐酸、碘、氯化钾、硫代硫酸钠、氯化钾、无水碳酸钠、亚甲基蓝、磷酸二氢钾、硫酸铜、氢氧化钾、可溶性淀粉等,均为分析纯。
采用化学活化法制备活性炭,工艺流程见图1。称取橡胶籽壳粉末10 g,加入不同剂料比中浸渍24 h后,采用不同超声时间超声物料,随后用电热板将溶液蒸干,再放入烘箱中120 ℃保持24 h,烘干至恒重,将干燥的粉末放入数控高温电炉中,采用不同活化时间和活化温度进行活化。先利用单因素试验分析每个因素对活性炭性能的影响,再用正交试验探究制备活性炭的最佳条件。活化结束后冷却至常温,对活化后的物料采用盐酸溶液(浓盐酸与蒸馏水体积比1∶4)进行酸洗,酸洗完成后再用蒸馏水洗至中性,105 ℃烘干至恒重后得到活性炭产品。
利用碘和亚甲基蓝对活性炭的吸附力进行测定。参照GB/T 12496.8—2015中的方法测定碘吸附值;参照GB/T 12496.10— 1999中的方法测定亚甲基蓝吸附值。
(1)比表面积以及孔结构。采用比表面积及孔隙度分析仪,以77.3 K的高纯氮气为吸附质,测定活性炭样品。活性炭的比表面积采用BET法计算,采用t-plot法和BJH法计算微孔容积和孔径分布。以未经任何处理的活性炭原料为对照(CK),UAC和NAC分别表示经过超声预处理的活性炭和未经过超声预处理的活性炭。
(2)傅里叶红外光谱(FT-IR)分析。FT-IR红外光谱能够通过测量活性炭表面分子的转动态和振动态,得到阴离子的成键类型和来源。采用傅里叶显微红外光谱仪,将待测样品与溴化钾(KBr)粉末按一定比例均匀混合,压片,在400~ 4000 cm-1范围内测定样品的光谱,研究橡胶籽壳活性炭活化作用下官能团的变化。
(3)扫描电镜(SEM)观察。使用扫描电子显微镜分析固体材料的表面形貌。采用扫描电子显微镜首先对样品喷金数分钟后,置于扫描电子显微镜中以一定的倍数观察样品形貌。
(4)元素分析。采用元素分析仪对活性炭进行高温燃烧,测定活性炭的碳(C)、氢(H)、氮(N)元素。
(5)热重分析(TGA)。将样品置于热重-气质联用仪中,并置于氧气(纯度≥99.999%)中,以5 ℃/min的升温速率,于30~1000 ℃温度范围中,测定失重曲线。
通过单因素试验可知各个因素对活性炭性能造成的影响,试验效应包括因素的主效应和因素间的交互作用。为了获得制备最优性能活性炭的条件,本研究设置活性剂与橡胶籽壳的剂料比、超声时间、活化时间、活化温度4个因素,每个因素3个水平,根据L9(34)正交表,检测试验结果、指标数据分析、各因子水平对指标的影响见表1表2
活性炭的多孔结构形成大量的比表面积,使其更容易吸收杂质,所有的分子就像磁性的引力,互相吸引。在活性炭的孔壁上存在大量的分子,这些分子产生很强的磁性,使其吸附在孔壁上[18-19]。但为了充分将杂质吸附在活性炭孔内,所吸附的杂质分子粒径应比活性炭孔径小。亚甲基蓝是衡量活性炭脱色效果的一个重要指标,因其分子量比碘大,通常以亚甲基蓝为表征活性炭的介孔结构,亚甲基蓝脱色率越高,认为活性炭的吸附性能越好。由表1可知,在A1B1C1D1条件下,即剂料比为1∶1,超声时间为30 min,活化时间为30 min,活化温度为700 ℃,此工艺条件下制备的活性炭的亚甲基蓝值吸附值为450 mg/g。碘分子是一种小分子物质,用碘吸附值表示活性炭大于1.0 nm微孔的发达程度,反映活性炭对小分子杂质的吸附能力。较高的吸附量说明活性炭具有较好的吸附能力。在A3B1C3D2工艺条件下,即剂料比为3∶1,超声时间为30 min,活化时间为90 min,活化温度为800 ℃,制得的活性炭的碘吸附值最佳,为1310.3 mg/g。而工艺条件为A3B3C2D1得率最好,即剂料比为3∶1,超声时间为90 min,活化时间为60 min,活化温度为700 ℃,在此条件下制得的活性炭得率为28.7%。
综上可知,以KOH为活化剂,以A1B2C2D1为最优制备条件,即剂料比为1∶1,60 min的超声波作用,60 min的活化时间,700 ℃的活化温度,制备得到亚甲基蓝吸附值为400 mg/g,碘吸附值为1340.2 mg/g,得率为25.9%的活性炭。
表3可知,通过对比分析,发现对亚甲基蓝脱色效果影响最大的是活化温度,其次是剂料比、超声时间,活化时间影响最小。活性炭对碘的吸附性中,活化温度影响最大,超声、活化时间次之,料液比影响最小。与前二者一样,对得率影响最大的也是活化温度,剂料比和超声时间的影响一致,活化时间的影响最小。这是因为活化温度对KOH与碳的反应过程有着直接影响。在达到600 ℃时,KOH与碳的反应速度较为缓慢,消耗的碳较少,因此导致活性炭的比表面积和总孔容较小,其吸附性能也相对较低。随着活化温度的升高,钾原子的扩散速度加快,与碳的反应速度也相应增加,从而使活性炭的比表面积和总孔容增加,吸附性能也随之提高。然而,当活化温度高于800 ℃时,由于反应速度过快,开始出现微孔的烧失现象,过度消耗碳,从而引发“剥壳”反应,使比表面积和总孔容迅速减少,吸附性能随之下降[20]
同时开展对比试验,同样以橡胶籽壳为原料,KOH为活化剂,不经超声预处理,其他条件同上述活性炭的最佳工艺,即剂料比为1∶1,活化时间为60 min,活化温度为700 ℃。此条件下制得的活性炭亚甲基蓝吸附值为300 mg/g,碘吸附值为894.0 mg/g,得率20.8%,各项指标均低于经超声处理所得活性炭,说明橡胶籽壳经超声处理能有效提高活性炭的吸附性能。
表4可知,CK的比表面积仅为3.995 m2/g,而UAC和NAC的比表面积远高于CK,表明橡胶籽壳在较高温度下,通过KOH活化剂的活化,使原料中的H、O元素主要以H2O、CH4等小分子形式溢出,阻止焦油等副产物的生成,从而获得具有丰富孔隙结构、高比表面积,且具有良好性能的活性炭。橡胶籽壳经过超声预处理后制备出来的活性炭(UAC)比表面积大于未经过超声预处理制备的活性炭(NAC),说明超声的空化效应可以改变活性炭的表面结构,使比表面积增大。
图2显示了UAC和NAC的吸附等温线,将样品在200 ℃原位脱气6 h,并在77 K下进行氮气吸附。从图中可看出,UAC对氮气的吸附量较高。根据BDDT分类法,UAC和NAC对氮气的吸附曲线属于Ⅰ型等温线,活性炭中含有的微孔结构数量多且分布均匀。说明超声波的空化效应使活性炭表面结构发生变化,改变了孔隙的结构,增强了活性炭的吸附性能。
CK、UAC和NAC的FT-IR图如图3所示。由图可知,每一种物质的吸收率都相同,但强度变化有差异。羧基在1000~1300 cm-1范围内,其C-O键会产生伸缩振动。在1096 cm-1和1639 cm-1均有吸收峰,这2个峰都是由苯环主链C=C的膨胀振动和烷烃的弯曲振动所致。吸收峰在2858 cm-1,2941 cm-1为饱和碳氢化合物C-H2伸缩振动所致,表明在生料及活性炭中均有饱和碳氢化合物的存在。在峰值为3450 cm-1处有1个吸收峰,表明在该位置上可能存在羟基官能团脂肪族中的C-H键或醇的伸缩振动,这可能与物质中所含的结合水有关。综上,制备的活性炭材料存在大量羧基、醇羟基、羰基等官能团,这有利于活性炭吸附性能的增强,纤维素、半纤维素及木质素特征明显,说明活性炭以木质素、纤维素及半纤维素为主。
图4为各种活性炭样品的电子显微镜图。从图4可以观察到,CK活性炭表面虽然有明显的纹路,但是无孔结构。而UAC和NAC活性炭表面出现了丰富发达的孔隙结构,进一步可以证明KOH活化剂的浸渍和活化在活性炭表面积的增加和孔隙的产生中起到重要作用;NAC活性炭表面光滑平整,有许多丰富规则的孔结构,说明超声波的空化作用能够使活化剂与粉末反应得更加完全。由此可知,橡胶籽壳表面有明显的纹路,但是无孔结构,KOH活化后的活性炭表面存在大量孔结构,高低明显,层次分明,众多孔隙相连,形成大量的孔隙结构,但UAC与NAC相比,NAC孔隙表面有许多小孔,表面粗糙,说明超声波的空化作用能够使活化剂与粉末反应得更加完全。
C元素所占比例是选择原材料的主要因素,通常原材料的C元素含量应高于50%。从表5中可以得知,CK橡胶籽壳粉末的C含量为56.81%,满足配制的基本要求。结果表明,橡胶籽壳C含量丰富,经KOH激活后,UAC的C含量为75.97%,NAC的C含量为64.89%,而H、N的含量则有所下降,表明该方法具有良好的活性。H、N含量显著下降可能与无定形活性炭在高温下发生脱氢、脱氮、重排而形成的片层结构有关[21]
TGA主要用于分析固体材料的热稳定性和组成成分。图5显示CK、UAC和NAC的TGA曲线。CK的热分解过程大致可分为3个阶段,第1阶段为42~90 ℃,由于胶粒表面的水份析出,TGA曲线略有下降;第2个阶段发生在200~300 ℃的温度区间,这是由于在较高的温度下,橡胶籽壳发生热分解,使TGA曲线明显减小;第3个阶段为400 ℃及以上的温度区间内,TGA曲线呈下降趋势,橡胶籽壳质量下降至20%以下。
对于UAC和NAC的TGA曲线,虽然前处理条件有一定差异,但2种样品的TGA曲线差异并不明显,热解过程如下:第1阶段的失重主要是因为样品在40~90 ℃间失去水分,只有10%左右的少量失重;第2阶段,100~230 ℃时,样品的质量损失大约为10%,这可能与样品中的碳质有机物的质量损失有关;280~400 ℃时,样品的TGA曲线出现显著的质量损失,质量损失大约为40%,这与KOH激活的橡胶籽壳热裂解相关。当温度达到400 ℃时,UAC和NAC的质量趋于稳定,而CK的质量持续降低。结果表明,KOH活化后的样品比橡胶籽壳更加稳定,UAC和NAC样品的总质量分别损失62%和68%后,样品总质量趋于稳定。
本研究以橡胶种植业废弃物橡胶籽壳为原料,以KOH为活化剂,在传统试验的基础上,新增超声波辅助制备活性炭,探讨出最优的活性炭制备工艺:剂料比为1∶1、活化温度为700 ℃、超声作用活化时间为60 min。结果表明,经过超声预处理的活性炭(UAC)性能优于未经过超声波预处理的活性炭(NAC),NAC的吸附性能为UAC的60%~70%。
PHIDSAVARD[22]利用ZnCl2和C6H8O7在800 ℃活化制备2种橡胶籽壳活性炭,测得活性炭的碘值分别为1113.1、519.4 mg/g,孙康等[23]利用水蒸气在880 ℃制备橡胶籽壳活性炭,其亚甲基蓝吸附值为240 mg/g,碘吸附值为1113 mg/g,而本试验通过超声结合KOH所制备活性炭的碘吸附值为1340.2 mg/g,亚甲基蓝吸附值为240 mg/g,吸附性能均优于上述研究结果,同时对活化温度等试验条件的要求也较低,说明本研究所建立的方法在橡胶籽壳的活性炭制备方面更具优势。
同时,利用BET、FT-IR、SEM、TGA及元素分析等方式,对本研究所得橡胶籽壳活性炭的比表面积及孔结构、化学结构、表面结构、常量元素、热稳定性及吸附性能等进行了表征。根据试验结果发现橡胶籽壳是优质的活性炭前驱体,其制备的活性炭比表面积大,孔隙结构丰富规则。相较于NAC,UAC的结构特征更有利于吸附,说明超声波的空化效应有利于橡胶籽壳活性炭的吸附速率的增加,吸附容量增大,使孔径结构分布均匀,更容易吸附指示剂。杨继亮等[24]、田鑫等[25]、赵若男[26]通过超声预处理分别制备了椰壳活性炭、粒级活性炭、粉级活性炭、竹基活性炭,结果表明,在超声作用下活性炭的吸附性能均得到了显著提高,与本研究结果一致,说明经过超声预处理可以有效强化活性炭的吸附性能。
橡胶籽壳活性炭外形为不定形颗粒,基于其具有孔隙结构发达、比表面积大、吸附速度快、吸附容量高,且原料易得等特点,未来可在吸附废水中的重金属、降解化学需氧量(COD)、去除氯和液体脱色等方面发挥重要作用,为解决工业废水无害化处理问题提供更多吸附材料的选择。
本研究考察了炭化温度、活化温度、活化时间、碱炭比对吸附性能的影响,对制备因素的考虑不够完善,下一步需考虑炭化时间、升温速率等制备因素对工艺条件进一步优化,同时,在活化剂的使用上,本研究只选择了单一KOH为活化剂,活化剂对原料的作用不同,制备的活性炭性能各异,吸附的物质也不同,效果也会有差异,下一步将尝试几种活化剂以开发更多制备新技术。
生物质活性炭是近年来研究的热点,活化方式多种多样,如何创建一个完善的制备体系,减少活化时间、降低制备成本,提高吸附性能,制备高比表面积的活性炭,以及活性炭的回收使用都是今后活性炭产业发展的研究重点[27-29]
基于目前活性炭的大量生产及应用,并且多数活性炭前驱体来源于不可再生的煤炭资源,本研究围绕“以废制废”的理念将废弃的橡胶籽壳转化为有价值的炭材料,实现了碳的循环利用,能为我国实现碳中和目标发挥一定作用。同时,研究超声改性结合KOH活化的制备方法,也有助于丰富和完善活性炭理论体系。橡胶籽壳是橡胶籽的主要组成部分,开发潜力巨大,深入对其进行应用开发研究,能为橡胶籽多用途综合开发利用,促进在植胶区形成完整的橡胶籽综合开发利用产业链提供更多的研究思路。
