A comprehensive evaluation of agronomic traits of 70 varieties of fresh food tomato germplasms was conducted. Genetic diversity analysis of 28 morphological traits of the germplasms was carried out using methods such as variance analysis, principal component analysis, cluster analysis and calculation of comprehensive evaluation scores. The analysis results of genetic variability of 13 quantitative traits indicated that the variation degree of the germplasms was relatively high and the variation was rich. The variation range was 21.68%‒99.08%, and the genetic diversity index was relatively high, suggesting that the phenotypic diversity of germplasms was relatively rich and there was a significant degree of variation among the traits, indicating excellent selection potential. Among these, the traits such as single fruit weight, number of chambers, sugar-acid ratio, and transverse diameter exhibit relatively high genetic variation. The correlation analysis results showed that the traits significantly corelated with fruit firmness were the greateast in number, and fruit firmness were extremely significantly positively correlated with fruit surface ridges, fleshiness, single fruit weight, number of chambers, flesh thickness, and acidity. Sugar content was significantly negatively correlated with fruit color before maturity, and it was extremely significantly negatively correlated with fruit surface ridges, single fruit weight, number of chambers, and flesh thickness, and significantly positively correlated with plant height, and extremely significantly positively correlated with fruit shape index and soluble solids content. Single fruit weight was significantly positively correlated with leaf type, significantly negatively correlated with fruit peel color, extremely significantly positively correlated with flower sequence type and fruit surface ridges, and extremely significantly negatively correlated with fruit top shape and fruit shape. The principal component analysis results indicated that the 28 phenotypic traits could be classified into nine factors. The eigenvalues were all above 1.0, and the cumulative contribution rate reached 78.143%, which could reflect most of the information of all indicators and highlight the basic characteristics of the germplasms. Cluster analysis further divided the germplasms into five groups. The first and fourth groups had smaller tomato fruits and stronger edible properties, which could be important materials for cultivating cherry tomato varieties with good taste and high quality. The fifth group had higher hardness and larger fruits, and could be used to cultivate economic tomato varieties suitable for long-distance transportation. The comprehensive evaluation results showed that the top five germplasms were XH20-48, XH20-35, XH20-37, XH20-34 and XH20-30. In conclusion, this research achievement is dedicated to discovering and exploring the excellent tomato germplasm resources retained by the research group, laying a foundation for the next step of creating core parents and breeding new high-quality tomato varieties with characteristics unique to Xinjiang.

本研究通过对70份鲜食番茄种质资源农艺性状进行综合评价。运用方差分析、主成分分析、聚类分析、计算综合评价得分等方法对供试番茄材料28个形态学性状的遗传多样性进行分析。13个数量性状的遗传变异性分析结果表明,供试材料的变异程度较高,且变异丰富,变异范围为21.68%~99.08%,遗传多样性指数较高,表明番茄种质资源的表型多样性较为丰富,且性状间存在较大程度的变异,具有优良的选择潜力。其中,单果质量、心室数、糖酸比、横径等性状表现出较高的遗传变异;相关性分析结果显示,与果实硬度相关性显著的性状最多,其与果面棱沟、肉质、单果质量、心室数、果肉厚度、酸度等呈极显著正相关。糖度与成熟前果色呈显著负相关,与果面棱沟、单果质量、心室数和果肉厚度呈极显著负相关,与株高呈显著正相关,与果形指数、可溶性固形物含量呈极显著正相关。单果质量与叶片类型呈显著正相关,与果皮色呈显著负相关,与花序类型和果面棱沟呈极显著正相关,与果顶形状和果形呈极显著负相关;主成分分析结果表明,28个表型性状可划归为9个因子,特征值均在1.0以上,累计贡献率达78.143%,能够反映全部指标的大部分信息,突出供试番茄资源的基本特征。聚类分析进一步将供试材料分成了5组,第1和第4组番茄果实较小、食用性较强,可作为培育口感型、品质高的樱桃番茄品种的重要材料;第5组材料的硬度较高,果实较大,可培育适合长途运输的经济型番茄品种。综合评价结果表明,得分排名前5的种质资源分别为XH20-48、XH20-35、XH20-37、XH20-34和XH20-30。综上,本研究成果致力于发现并挖掘优良番茄种质,为下一步创制骨干亲本、选育符合新疆特色的高品质番茄新品种奠定基础。

本研究通过对70份鲜食番茄种质资源农艺性状进行综合评价。运用方差分析、主成分分析、聚类分析、计算综合评价得分等方法对供试番茄材料28个形态学性状的遗传多样性进行分析。13个数量性状的遗传变异性分析结果表明,供试材料的变异程度较高,且变异丰富,变异范围为21.68%~99.08%,遗传多样性指数较高,表明番茄种质资源的表型多样性较为丰富,且性状间存在较大程度的变异,具有优良的选择潜力。其中,单果质量、心室数、糖酸比、横径等性状表现出较高的遗传变异;相关性分析结果显示,与果实硬度相关性显著的性状最多,其与果面棱沟、肉质、单果质量、心室数、果肉厚度、酸度等呈极显著正相关。糖度与成熟前果色呈显著负相关,与果面棱沟、单果质量、心室数和果肉厚度呈极显著负相关,与株高呈显著正相关,与果形指数、可溶性固形物含量呈极显著正相关。单果质量与叶片类型呈显著正相关,与果皮色呈显著负相关,与花序类型和果面棱沟呈极显著正相关,与果顶形状和果形呈极显著负相关;主成分分析结果表明,28个表型性状可划归为9个因子,特征值均在1.0以上,累计贡献率达78.143%,能够反映全部指标的大部分信息,突出供试番茄资源的基本特征。聚类分析进一步将供试材料分成了5组,第1和第4组番茄果实较小、食用性较强,可作为培育口感型、品质高的樱桃番茄品种的重要材料;第5组材料的硬度较高,果实较大,可培育适合长途运输的经济型番茄品种。综合评价结果表明,得分排名前5的种质资源分别为XH20-48、XH20-35、XH20-37、XH20-34和XH20-30。综上,本研究成果致力于发现并挖掘优良番茄种质,为下一步创制骨干亲本、选育符合新疆特色的高品质番茄新品种奠定基础。

A comprehensive evaluation of agronomic traits of 70 varieties of fresh food tomato germplasms was conducted. Genetic diversity analysis of 28 morphological traits of the germplasms was carried out using methods such as variance analysis, principal component analysis, cluster analysis and calculation of comprehensive evaluation scores. The analysis results of genetic variability of 13 quantitative traits indicated that the variation degree of the germplasms was relatively high and the variation was rich. The variation range was 21.68%‒99.08%, and the genetic diversity index was relatively high, suggesting that the phenotypic diversity of germplasms was relatively rich and there was a significant degree of variation among the traits, indicating excellent selection potential. Among these, the traits such as single fruit weight, number of chambers, sugar-acid ratio, and transverse diameter exhibit relatively high genetic variation. The correlation analysis results showed that the traits significantly corelated with fruit firmness were the greateast in number, and fruit firmness were extremely significantly positively correlated with fruit surface ridges, fleshiness, single fruit weight, number of chambers, flesh thickness, and acidity. Sugar content was significantly negatively correlated with fruit color before maturity, and it was extremely significantly negatively correlated with fruit surface ridges, single fruit weight, number of chambers, and flesh thickness, and significantly positively correlated with plant height, and extremely significantly positively correlated with fruit shape index and soluble solids content. Single fruit weight was significantly positively correlated with leaf type, significantly negatively correlated with fruit peel color, extremely significantly positively correlated with flower sequence type and fruit surface ridges, and extremely significantly negatively correlated with fruit top shape and fruit shape. The principal component analysis results indicated that the 28 phenotypic traits could be classified into nine factors. The eigenvalues were all above 1.0, and the cumulative contribution rate reached 78.143%, which could reflect most of the information of all indicators and highlight the basic characteristics of the germplasms. Cluster analysis further divided the germplasms into five groups. The first and fourth groups had smaller tomato fruits and stronger edible properties, which could be important materials for cultivating cherry tomato varieties with good taste and high quality. The fifth group had higher hardness and larger fruits, and could be used to cultivate economic tomato varieties suitable for long-distance transportation. The comprehensive evaluation results showed that the top five germplasms were XH20-48, XH20-35, XH20-37, XH20-34 and XH20-30. In conclusion, this research achievement is dedicated to discovering and exploring the excellent tomato germplasm resources retained by the research group, laying a foundation for the next step of creating core parents and breeding new high-quality tomato varieties with characteristics unique to Xinjiang.

番茄(Solanum lycopersicum L.)是茄科茄属一年或多年生草本植物,在世界范围内广泛种植,具有栽培适应性广、产量高、经济效益高等优点[1]。我国作为全球最大番茄生产国,2022年统计数据显示栽培面积超160万hm2,总产量持续位居全球首位[2]。新疆独特的地理环境及生态气候对番茄的种植提供有利条件[3],所生产的番茄制品在国内外均具有较强的竞争力[4]。然而近年来,欧美国家通过增加新疆以外的番茄采购来源地,以达到全球供应链布局的“去中国化”,这对新疆番茄市场带来了巨大的冲击[5]。因此,研究不同番茄种质资源的外观性状和果实品质,收集并筛选出优良的番茄种质资源,对番茄资源进行遗传改良及新品种选育,提升番茄果实营养品质和感官品质,加强新疆番茄在“一带一路”沿线市场贸易的潜力,对提高本区番茄产业的国际竞争力和促进我国番茄产业高质量发展具有重要意义。
番茄品质性状体系由营养组分、感官特性和商品属性三大类群构成,每个类群包含若干具有独立生理功能的表型参数。又由于所分析的材料数目通常较多,且各性状指标间存在表型互作以及遗传力差异。因此,运用多元统计分析方法对所有性状信息进行综合性归纳尤为必要。相关性分析、聚类分析、主成分分析等均可应用于番茄品质性状的综合评估,目前此方法及策略已在农作物种质资源评价中被广泛应用[6]
研究人员通过不同类型番茄品种的比较研究揭示了品质的遗传调控规律。冀胜鑫等[7]采用完全随机区组设计对5个大、中果型番茄品种(单果质量180~220 g)和3个樱桃番茄品种(单果质量15~20 g)进行表型分析,量化了果形指数(0.67~1.14)、果实硬度(8.69~12.66 kg/cm2)及可溶性固形物含量(5.47%~9.23%)等参数,进一步分析显示品种间差异贡献率达67%~89%,证实基因型效应对品质性状的主导作用;李丽梅等[8]建立包含7份樱桃番茄和2份中果型番茄种质的评价体系,通过特征值大于1的原则,共提取到3个公因子,累积方差贡献率达89.19%。最终,依据主成分得分综合筛选出樱桃25号、樱桃55号483-11-8和樱桃55号483-16-15显著优于群体均值,入选为优质杂交亲本;赵建涛等[9]运用GC-MS技术对8份材料的营养代谢谱进行解析,发现樱桃番茄组的抗坏血酸含量(>55.7 mg/100 g)较普通大果型高41.3%,而大果型品种的番茄红素积累量(>13.58 mg/100 g)具有显著优势(P<0.05)。主成分分析结果显示,前3个主成分累计贡献率达82.293%,代表了番茄主要品质相关性状的特性。张向梅等[10]通过Duncan多重比较发现,京番308的可溶性固形物含量(7.9%)与京番301的糖酸比(13.35)分别较大果番茄提高23.4%和18.9%。虽然樱桃番茄香妃3号在感官评价中获得最高分(4.36),但黄色果肉种质Y17-A11的可溶性固形物、有机酸、糖酸比和维生素C均高于香妃3号,展现出特殊的育种价值。
种质资源作为蔬菜产业的“芯片”,通过不断挖掘国内外优良种质并进行系统性评估,鉴定并筛选有价值的育种资源将有利于本区的优质新品种选育,从而丰富市场中品种的多样性。因此,本研究以多年收集、保存的70份鲜食番茄种质资源为研究对象,通过系统解析营养组分、感官特性及商品属性的遗传变异规律,结合Pearson相关性矩阵分析来揭示性状间的关联特性;采用欧氏距离‒ward算法进行品质类别聚类,构建遗传相似性矩阵,实现种质资源科学分组,最终筛选出具有协同改良潜力的核心种质,以期为新疆番茄品质育种提供理论参考依据及优质育种材料。
供试材料的70份鲜食番茄种质由新疆农业科学院作物研究所经多年收集所得并提供,具体的供试材料编号、生长习性及来源描述见表1
2024年3—10月于新疆维吾尔自治区乌鲁木齐市新市区安宁渠综合实验站进行试验。在番茄生长发育期对28个相关农艺性状指标(13个数量性状和15个质量性状)进行测定。
具体指标包括叶片类型、叶片形状、叶片颜色、果皮色、果肉颜色、成熟前果色、成熟果色、花序类型、果实横切面形状、胶状物颜色、果顶形状、果形、果面棱沟、首花序节位、单花序果数、心室数、肉质和风味等。采用直接观察法并参考国家作物科学数据中心提供的《番茄种质资源描述规范和数据标准》进行统计、分级和赋值;株高使用塔尺测定;果实纵径、果实横径、肉厚利用游标卡尺进行测定;单果质量利用电子天平秤重;可溶性固形物含量用手持折射仪Brix测定;总糖、酸含量及糖酸比用番茄糖酸度计(PAL-BX/ACID 3)测定;调查标准见附表1
使用Excel 2020软件统计并整理数据,计算表型性状的分布频率、最小值、最大值、平均值、标准差、变异系数和遗传多样性指数(H′)。利用SPSS 27.0软件对表型性状进行相关性分析、主成分分析和聚类分析;采用Origin 2024软件作图。根据平均值和标准差对70份番茄材料的不同性状进行10个等级的划分,每1σ为一级,σ为标准差,计算遗传多样性指数Shannon-Wiener(H′)参考易腾飞等[11]的计算方法。相关指标计算方法如下:
遗传多样性指数H′=-∑(Pi)(lnPi),式中,Pi为某性状第i级别的材料份数占总份数的百分比,ln为自然对数。
隶属函数值μXj)=(Xj-Xmin)/(Xmax-Xmin),j=1,2,3···n。式中,μXj)为第j个指标的隶属函数值,Xj为第j个口感指标,Xmin为第j个指标的最小值,Xmax为第j个指标的最大值。
权重(W):Wj=RjRjj=1,2,3···n。式中,Wj为第j个主成分因子在所有综合指标中的重要程度即权重;Rj为各材料第j个主成分因子的贡献率。
综合评价值(D):D=Σ(μXj)×Wj),j=1,2,3···n
对70份番茄资源的13个数量性状进行遗传变异性分析。结果表明(表2),数量性状的遗传多样性指数(H′)在0.87~1.39的区间分布,除了糖酸比的H′较低以外,其他性状的H′均≥1,其中纵径、横径、糖度、可溶性固形物含量、株高、果肉厚度以及硬度表现出高度差异性,说明这70份番茄材料在果实形态建成方面存在显著多态性,构成了后续品质性状定向改良的遗传基础;数量性状表型整体变异系数分布区间为21.43%~ 99.08%,其中变异系数最大的是单果质量(99.08%),心室数和糖酸比次之,分别为73.26%和56.25%,可溶性固形物含量和糖度的表型稳定性较高,变异系数分别为21.68%和21.43%。单果质量、酸度和糖酸比等果实品质性状在不同材料间的显著表型分化,进一步说明这些材料的改良潜力较大。
本研究对70份番茄资源的15个质量性状进行遗传多样性指数(H′)和特征分析(表3)。结果表明,15个质量性状的H′在0.48~2.59之间分布,H′>1的质量性状主要有:叶片类型、成熟前果色、成熟果色、果面棱沟、果顶形状、果形、果肉色、胶状物颜色、果皮色和风味。供试材料中叶片形态学特征呈显著偏态分布:复细叶型占群体45.71%,二回羽状复叶占比72.86%;叶色绿型(72.86%)与单式花序(64.29%)构成主导表型;成熟前果色以绿白为主,占比65.71%;成熟果色的H′最高,果实颜色最丰富,按照实际果色进行描述性分级后有19种颜色分类,其中以粉红色为主,占比24.29%;果面以无棱沟为主,占比48.57%;果实结构特征:圆平果顶和圆形果分别占比37.14%和20.00%;粉红果肉(28.57%)与黄色胶质(37.14%)构成主要剖面特征,果皮透明型(58.57%)与软质果肉(47.14%)则反映质地选择方向;而风味以甜酸为主,占比45.71%。
表4可知,对70份番茄资源的28个表型特征性状进行相关性分析。其中,与果实硬度显著相关的性状最多,达到15个,其与叶片类型、叶色、果实横切面形状呈显著正相关,与果面棱沟、肉质、单果质量、纵径、横径、心室数、果肉厚度、酸度呈极显著正相关,与果顶形状呈显著负相关,与可溶性固形物含量、糖度、糖酸比呈极显著负相关。
糖度与株高呈显著正相关,与果形指数、可溶性固形物含量呈极显著正相关,与成熟前果色呈显著负相关,与果实横切面形状、果面棱沟、单果质量、纵径、横径、心室数、果肉厚度呈极显著负相关。
酸度与单果质量、株高、心室数呈显著正相关,与横径、果肉厚度呈极显著正相关,与果顶形状、果形呈极显著负相关。
糖酸比与果顶形状、果形、可溶性固形物含量、糖度呈极显著正相关,与果实横切面形状、风味呈显著负相关,与果面棱沟、单果质量、纵径、横径、心室数、果肉厚度、酸度呈极显著负相关。
可溶性固形物含量与株高呈显著正相关,与果形指数呈极显著正相关,与成熟前果色呈显著负相关,与果实横切面形状、果面棱沟、单果质量、纵径、横径、心室数、果肉厚度呈极显著负相关。
单果质量与叶片类型呈显著正相关,与花序类型、果实横切面形状、果面棱沟呈极显著正相关,与果皮色呈显著负相关,与果顶形状、果形呈极显著负相关。
对70份番茄种质的28个性状进行主成分分析,进一步筛选出各性状中起主导作用的因子。由表5可知,9个主成分的累计贡献率达78.143%,能反映出全部指标的大部分信息。
第1主成分特征值为7.646,贡献率为19.064%,载荷较高的包括果心室数(0.867)、单果质量(0.857)、横径(0.817)、果面棱沟(0.779)、横切面形状(0.759)、花序类型(0.713)和纵径(0.606)等与果实大小相关的性状。负向较高的有果皮色(‒0.424);第2主成分特征值为2.958,累计贡献率为29.202%,载荷负向较高的为可溶性固形物含量(‒0.892)、糖度(‒0.866)等与口感相关的指标;第3主成分特征值为2.564,累计贡献率为38.385%,载荷较高的有果顶形状(0.790)和果形(0.713);第4主成分特征值为2.257,累积贡献率为46.752%,载荷较高的为酸度(0.805)、株高(0.599)和果肉厚度(0.494)等,负向较高的为糖酸比(‒0.724);第5主成分特征值为1.855,累积贡献率为54.936%,载荷较高的包括果肉色(0.874)、胶状物颜色(0.723)以及成熟果色(0.716)等与果色颜色有关的性状;第6主成分特征值为1.303,累积贡献率为61.485%,载荷较高的为叶片类型(0.800),负向较高的为成熟前果色(‒0.507);第7主成分特征值为1.218,累积贡献率为67.269%,载荷较高的是首花序节位(0.821)和叶色(0.663);第8主成分特征值为1.069,累积贡献率为72.986%,载荷较高的为肉质(0.844)和硬度(0.525),负向较高的为叶片形状(‒0.536);第9主成分特征值为1.009,累积贡献率为78.143%,载荷负向较高的为风味(‒0.859)。
将上述28个表型性状进行聚类分析。结果表明(图1),在欧氏距离为5处,将70份试材分为5个组群。第1组群包括38份材料,大多为各地优良番茄种质资源,其主要特征是横切面形状为圆形,叶片形状为二回羽状复叶,果肉色多为红色,果皮大多为无色,单果质量约44.45 g,可溶性固形物含量为6.69%,糖度含量为7.02,酸度含量为1.00,心室数为2.50;第2组群包括2份材料,主要特征是复细叶型,花序类型为双歧花序,单果质量为403.15 g,横径97.71 mm,纵径87.13 mm,果实较大;第3组包括18份材料,其主要特征是叶片类型为复细叶型,果形多为扁圆形,单果质量为277.34 g,可溶性固形物含量为5.27%;第4组包括4份材料,其主要特征是横切面为圆形,带有酸甜的风味,单果质量为47.20 g,可溶性固形物含量在4.88%,糖酸比为8.21;第5组包括8份材料,其主要特征是横切面为圆形,单果质量147.53 g,可溶性固形物含量5.73%,糖酸比4.87,硬度12.37。综上,第1和第4组番茄果实较小、食用性较强,可作为培育口感型、品质高的樱桃番茄品种的重要亲本材料。第5组资源的硬度较高,果实较大,可作为选育长途运输的经济型番茄品种的育种材料。
利用主成分分析的方法计算70份试材的综合得分(D),并进行资源的综合评价。结果表明(表6),D值的变化范围为-0.81~1.03。排名前5的番茄种质资源分别为XH20-48、XH20-35、XH20-37、XH20-34和XH20-30,其D值依次为1.03、0.68、0.67、0.60、0.57。进一步分析D值与28个表型性状的相关性,结果表明(表7),D值与13个性状数据达极显著相关水平,其中与成熟果色、花序类型、果实横切面形状、果面棱沟、单果质量、纵径、横径、心室数、果肉厚度和硬度等反映果实大小的性状呈极显著正相关,而与可溶性固形物、糖度、糖酸比等与果实风味有关的性状指标呈极显著负相关。
番茄的品种改良是依托不同种质资源的高效性利用,通过进行番茄种质资源遗传多样性的研究,对于鉴别核心种质和加快遗传育种研究进程具有重要的作用。本研究系统性评估70份番茄种质在28个表型性状中的多态性特征,通过遗传多样性指数与性状变异系数的联合解析,对保存的种质资源进行综合筛选,为后续定向选育具备特异性状的番茄亲本材料提供数据支撑。数量性状变异特征和遗传多样性指数用来衡量种质资源的离散程度和遗传多样性,数量性状变异特征越大,其离散程度也越大,而遗传多样性指数越高,则种质资源的遗传多样性也更加丰富[12]。数量性状变异特征解析表明,在70份番茄种质中单果质量呈最高离散程度,其次为心室数与糖酸比,而可溶性固形物与总糖含量则表现出相对稳定的遗传特性。此变异模式与前人关于茄科作物表型多样性的研究结论具有一致性[13-14],为番茄品质性状的遗传调控研究提供关键参数依据。对15个质量性状的遗传多样性指数分析显示,变异范围为0.48~2.59,其中成熟果色、果形和果肉色性状表现出显著多态性,与袁东升等[15]和许向阳等[16]研究结果一致。13个数量性状多样性指数(0.87~1.39)主要集中于果实物理特性(如硬度和纵横径等)及风味物质(如糖度和酸度等),这与张钟炎等[17]研究结果较为一致,该差异特征与质量性状多由主效基因调控的遗传规律相符,验证了数量性状多基因调控背景下具有更广泛的选择潜力[18],表明了本研究的70份番茄种质资源具有广泛的遗传多样性。
果实硬度是番茄重要的商品性状之一,与耐储运性密切相关。可溶性固形物主要包括可溶性糖和有机酸等物质,是番茄品质性状的的主要决定因素[19]。表型性状相关性分析表明,果实硬度呈最广泛的多维关联网络,其与糖度、未熟果色、心室数及果肉厚度存在显著负向关联,但与果形指数和可溶性固形物呈显著正向关联,这与李景富等[20]研究结果相同,然而罗静等[21]却发现可溶性固形物与果实硬度之间呈显著正相关,与本研究结果相反,这可能缘于不同地区种植不同的番茄品种以及性状指标测定方法不同所导致。可溶性固形物对未熟果色呈现显著负向响应,而与果形指数呈现协同变异趋势;单果质量与叶片类型,花序类型和果面棱沟呈正相关关系,与果顶形状和果形呈极显著负相关。番茄果实在成熟的过程中,番茄红素、叶黄素、β-胡萝卜素等类胡萝卜素物质逐渐积累,改变了番茄果实的颜色[22],与此同时,果实的硬度逐渐下降,可溶性糖和有机酸等物质逐渐积累进而影响了番茄的品质。孙亚东等[23]发现,番茄红素的含量与果实硬度呈显著负相关,这与本研究发现可溶性固形物对未熟果色呈现显著负相关的结果较为相似。这些结果表明,除了可溶性固形物和糖度等常规指标,果实颜色、心室数、果肉厚度和果形指数等商品性状可能协同参与番茄果实品质的调控形成。通过上述性状的关联性鉴定分析,不但可以提高课题后期优质番茄品种定向选育的效率,同时以此为契机,也为分子育种中,如多组学联合分析目标性状调控关联性上提供更广阔的筛选方向。
聚类分析是将材料的特异性相似程度进行优先聚合,再将多个材料按照样品类别的综合性质进行汇总,能够将多种材料的共有特征进行合理分类[24]。通过遗传距离矩阵计算,本研究的70份番茄种质被分成5个表型特征群组,其中第1和第4组材料为小果番茄,口感佳、品质好,第5组材料为大果红番茄,硬度大,较耐储运。因此,上述材料的鉴定和筛选不但可以为传统杂交育种提供口感丰富、高糖、耐储运和多果形等性状兼顾的优质育种材料,同时,在从分子层面为关键性状基因的挖掘及深入的机理研究提供更多的可能。
主成分分析是目前使用最为成熟的综合评价方法之一,对研究指标进行简化,采用降维的方法达到简化的目的来进行统计学分析。韩泽群等[25]通过主成分分析和聚类分析对22个加工番茄品种的17项农艺性状进行综合评价,建立了有效的评价体系,为加工番茄优良品种的选育提供科学依据。张静等[26]通过对60份樱桃番茄品种的12个主要品质性状进行主成分分析和聚类分析,提取了5个主成分因子并划分了8个类群用于后续的综合评价与育种材料评估。本研究基于表型数据矩阵的主成分分析显示,提取出的9个主成分的累计贡献率达到78.143%,第1主成分主要反映番茄果实性状,第2主成分集中体现营养品质特征,第3主成分主要与果形参数高度相关,这一结果与李凯等[27]研究结果相吻合。主成分综合得分的高低对不同种质资源的性状优劣有着较为直观的判断,可以衡量某个性状在某个品种中的位置与分量,对后续育种工作提供参考依据[28]。而主成分分析结合隶属函数计算,已在多种作物研究中广泛使用[29-30]。本研究利用该方法得出的综合得分D,由高到低共筛选出5份优质番茄材料(XH20-48、XH20-35、XH20-37、XH20-34和XH20-30),而上述材料在后续定向育种中可能作为骨干轮回亲本而使用。综上,本研究为新疆后续番茄种质资源农艺性状的综合评价提供重要指导参考,也为番茄定向新品种选育和遗传改良提供重要的理论依据和育种材料。
