Lodging was one of the important limiting factors for high yield, high sugar content and mechanized harvesting of sugarcane, and it was also an urgent problem to be solved in sugarcane mechanized breeding. In this study, 24 reciprocal hybrids of 57NG208 and Nanjian chewing cane and PT43-52 (CK) were used as research materials. The plant height, basal stem diameter, middle stem diameter, brix, center of gravity height, single stem weight, the lodging resistance index, basal and middle stem diameter ratio and stem breaking force were measured. The correlation analysis, principal component analysis, membership function method and cluster analysis were used to comprehensively evaluate them. The results showed that the coefficient of variation of 9 indexes such as lodging resistance index and agronomic traits of 25 materials was between 11.57% and 30.80%, and the traits were obviously separated and the variation was abundant. The correlation analysis showed that the lodging resistance index was significantly positively correlated with brix, basal stem diameter, basal and middle stem diameter ratio, center of gravity height, single stem weight and stem breaking force, and negatively correlated with plant height and middle stem diameter. The results of principal component analysis showed that the cumulative contribution rate of the first three principal components was 75.7717%, which represented most of the information of lodging resistance of the tested materials. Cluster analysis showed that 25 materials could be clustered into three categories, and the results were consistent with the results of membership function evaluation. Among them, 13 materials in the first category had excellent lodging resistance and high comprehensive evaluation scores, especially Yunrui 12-9-45, Yunrui 12-9-5, Yunrui 12-38-32, PT43-52 and Yunrui 12-38-46. The lodging resistance index of the remaining germplasms was 3.00 except Yunrui 12-38-46, and the comprehensive evaluation E value was in the top 5, which should be used in the future improvement of lodging resistance.

倒伏是甘蔗高产、高糖和机收的重要限制因素之一,也是甘蔗宜机化育种亟待解决的问题。本研究以24份大茎野生种57NG208与南涧果蔗正反交后代和1份PT43-52(CK)为研究材料,测定其株高、基部茎径、中部茎径、锤度、重心高度、单茎重、抗倒伏指数、基部和中部茎径比值和茎秆折断力9个指标,采用相关性分析、主成分分析、隶属函数法和聚类分析对其进行综合评价。结果表明:25份材料抗倒伏指数和农艺性状等9个指标的变异系数分布在11.57%~30.80%之间,性状明显分离,变异丰富。相关性分析结果表明,抗倒伏指数与锤度、基部茎径、基部和中部茎径比值、重心高度、单茎重和茎秆折断力呈极显著正相关,与株高和中部茎径呈负相关。主成分分析结果表明,前3个主成分累计贡献率达75.7717%,代表了参试材料抗倒伏的绝大部分信息;聚类分析结果表明,25份材料可聚为3大类,与隶属函数评价结果基部吻合,其中第Ⅰ类中的13份材料抗倒伏性能优异,综合评价得分较高,尤其是云瑞12-9-45、云瑞12-9-5、云瑞12-38-32、PT43-52和云瑞12-38-46等5份种质材料,除云瑞12-38-46的抗倒伏指数为2.94外,其余种质的抗倒伏指数均为3.00,其综合评价E值位于前5位,可在今后品种的抗倒性改良中重点利用。

倒伏是甘蔗高产、高糖和机收的重要限制因素之一,也是甘蔗宜机化育种亟待解决的问题。本研究以24份大茎野生种57NG208与南涧果蔗正反交后代和1份PT43-52(CK)为研究材料,测定其株高、基部茎径、中部茎径、锤度、重心高度、单茎重、抗倒伏指数、基部和中部茎径比值和茎秆折断力9个指标,采用相关性分析、主成分分析、隶属函数法和聚类分析对其进行综合评价。结果表明:25份材料抗倒伏指数和农艺性状等9个指标的变异系数分布在11.57%~30.80%之间,性状明显分离,变异丰富。相关性分析结果表明,抗倒伏指数与锤度、基部茎径、基部和中部茎径比值、重心高度、单茎重和茎秆折断力呈极显著正相关,与株高和中部茎径呈负相关。主成分分析结果表明,前3个主成分累计贡献率达75.7717%,代表了参试材料抗倒伏的绝大部分信息;聚类分析结果表明,25份材料可聚为3大类,与隶属函数评价结果基部吻合,其中第Ⅰ类中的13份材料抗倒伏性能优异,综合评价得分较高,尤其是云瑞12-9-45、云瑞12-9-5、云瑞12-38-32、PT43-52和云瑞12-38-46等5份种质材料,除云瑞12-38-46的抗倒伏指数为2.94外,其余种质的抗倒伏指数均为3.00,其综合评价E值位于前5位,可在今后品种的抗倒性改良中重点利用。

Lodging was one of the important limiting factors for high yield, high sugar content and mechanized harvesting of sugarcane, and it was also an urgent problem to be solved in sugarcane mechanized breeding. In this study, 24 reciprocal hybrids of 57NG208 and Nanjian chewing cane and PT43-52 (CK) were used as research materials. The plant height, basal stem diameter, middle stem diameter, brix, center of gravity height, single stem weight, the lodging resistance index, basal and middle stem diameter ratio and stem breaking force were measured. The correlation analysis, principal component analysis, membership function method and cluster analysis were used to comprehensively evaluate them. The results showed that the coefficient of variation of 9 indexes such as lodging resistance index and agronomic traits of 25 materials was between 11.57% and 30.80%, and the traits were obviously separated and the variation was abundant. The correlation analysis showed that the lodging resistance index was significantly positively correlated with brix, basal stem diameter, basal and middle stem diameter ratio, center of gravity height, single stem weight and stem breaking force, and negatively correlated with plant height and middle stem diameter. The results of principal component analysis showed that the cumulative contribution rate of the first three principal components was 75.7717%, which represented most of the information of lodging resistance of the tested materials. Cluster analysis showed that 25 materials could be clustered into three categories, and the results were consistent with the results of membership function evaluation. Among them, 13 materials in the first category had excellent lodging resistance and high comprehensive evaluation scores, especially Yunrui 12-9-45, Yunrui 12-9-5, Yunrui 12-38-32, PT43-52 and Yunrui 12-38-46. The lodging resistance index of the remaining germplasms was 3.00 except Yunrui 12-38-46, and the comprehensive evaluation E value was in the top 5, which should be used in the future improvement of lodging resistance.

甘蔗是全球重要的糖料和能源作物,80%的糖和40%的生物乙醇的主要原料,年产值超过900亿美元,其中甘蔗糖分别占世界和我国食糖总量的70%和88%[1-2],甘蔗产业对全球农业经济发展和食糖安全保障发挥着重要作用[3]。据统计,全球有103个国家种植甘蔗[4],2022/2023榨季中国甘蔗种植面积约140万hm2[5],居世界第3位[6]。近年来,随着极端天气事件和虫害频发,尤其台风和季风的影响,导致甘蔗大田生产中倒伏现象普遍发生,已严重限制了甘蔗机械化收获和节本增效,成为我国糖料蔗生产的“瓶颈”问题之一。2018年,台风“山竹”造成广西甘蔗倒伏面积约14.0万hm2,占全区甘蔗种植面积的18%,其中6.6万hm2为严重倒伏[7];2024年,台风“摩羯”造成海南省甘蔗倒伏面积7333 hm2,其中全倒伏3600 hm2,半倒伏3800 hm2,受风折断尾面积超过1333 hm2,全省甘蔗预计减产10%[8]。倒伏是造成甘蔗产量下降的主要原因,甘蔗倒伏后不仅影响产量和品质[9],也对机械化收获造成了障碍,而且还会传播病害。甘蔗倒伏是当前甘蔗宜机化育种关注的重点性状,大茎野生种甘蔗(Saccharum robustum L.),别名伊里安野生种,具有纤维分和生物产量高、宿根性好、抗风抗虫等特点[9],其血缘后代材料具有宿根萌芽率高、生势强、抗倒伏等优点。因此,系统评价大茎野生种57NG208与南涧果蔗正反交后代的抗倒伏特性,对改良或培育抗倒伏新品种具有重要指导意义。
甘蔗倒伏性是一个复杂的数量性状,不仅与株高、基部茎径和重心高度等内在因素有关,还与蔗田土质条件、栽培管理和气候因素等外在因素相关[10]。目前,众多学者针对甘蔗倒伏性开展了大量研究。陈纪元[11]开展随机风载作用甘蔗倒折机理研究;李翔[12]从抗倒伏指数、生化成分、转录组等对不同类型的甘蔗种质进行抗倒伏性评级及抗倒伏机制研究;沈银娟等[13]对117份甘蔗品系材料开展蔗茎机械强度形成的生物学机制研究;闫鹏等[14]采用室内外试验研究不同浓度配比NAA/KT浸种对新植蔗产量、根系发育及抗倒伏能力的影响;刘富成等[15]研究不同种植密度和深度对甘蔗品种中糖3号的产量及抗倒伏性的影响;李笑含[16]基于无人机遥感影像技术对甘蔗倒伏信息开展研究。在水稻上,日本学者崛内久满[17]首先提出用‘倒伏指数’来评价水稻品种的抗倒伏能力,该指数能综合反映水稻茎秆物理性状,综合了水稻株高、鲜重和茎秆折断力等部分参数,目前被公认是抗倒伏性的衡量指标[18]。孙旭初[19]1987年提出水稻“抗倒伏指数”是较为公认的计算方法,李翔[12]在2019年提出了甘蔗抗倒伏指数计算方法。
甘蔗育种实践中,利用甘蔗材料本身抗倒伏性育种是解决甘蔗倒伏问题最经济有效的手段。因此,明确甘蔗倒伏与抗倒伏性的相关性状,对甘蔗种质进行科学客观的评价鉴定是开展甘蔗抗倒伏育种的基础和前提。基于甘蔗抗倒伏性为品种特性,本研究以25份大茎野生种后代种质为材料,在成熟期对其抗倒伏指数和农艺性状指标进行测定和分析,旨在通过种质材料间差异筛选出优异抗倒伏种质材料,为甘蔗抗倒伏育种提供种质基础和理论依据。
供试材料亲本信息详见表1。在25份参试材料中,编号1~24号种质材料是以真实性鉴定过的24份大茎野生种NG57208(P1)与南涧果蔗(P2)的正反交后代[20],该批种质材料由云南省农业科学院甘蔗研究所瑞丽育种站创制,其中P1×P2为正交材料9份,P2×P1为反交材料15份,以PT43-52为对照材料,其中PT43-52是由台湾糖业公司屏东甘蔗育种站1946年选出的含大茎野生种血缘F2种质材料[21],其抗风能力特强,在1951年后利用它及其后代为亲本培育出一系列抗风力强,且高产、高糖的F系列及台糖系列著名品种在生产上利用,如F146、F160、F172、ROC16、ROC10、ROC22[22-23]
试验地位于云南省农业科学院甘蔗研究所瑞丽育种站(24°1′33″N,97°51′44″E),采用随机区组设计,3次重复,每小区5行,行长8 m,行距1.2 m。试验于2023年2月种植,田间管理与大田生产管理一致。
于甘蔗成熟期调查株高、基部茎径、中部茎径和锤度等农艺性状。随机选取5株近地面30 cm蔗茎,参照沈银娟等[13]的方法,用植物茎秆强度测定仪测定茎秆折断力。
参照王秀凤等[24]的方法测定重心高度。倒伏角是指甘蔗头部和蔗茎基部连线与地面垂直线之间的夹角。参照郝文录等[25]的方法,基于倒伏角对甘蔗进行倒伏级数划分(表2)。
抗倒伏指数参照谢子四等[26]和李朝生等[27]的方法计算。计算公式:抗倒伏指数=∑(各级级别数×该级别株数)/调查株数。甘蔗抗倒伏评价标准详见表3
对抗倒伏指数和农艺性状等9个指标进行遗传多样性和相关性分析,求出各指标隶属函数值。然后进行主成分分析,计算9个指标的主成分得分,同时求出各主成分的权重值。最后计算综合评价值E,参照覃伟等[28]的方法进行隶属函数分析。
式中,ZXj)表示参试种质材料第j个综合指标的隶属函数值。X表示参试种质材料综合指标的测定值,XminXmax分别表示第j个综合指标的最小值和最大值。j表示各综合指标,Wi为第i个综合指标在所有综合指标中的权重,Pi为各种质材料通过主成分分析得出的第i个综合指标的贡献率;E为综合评价值。
用Excel 2022软件处理原始数据,分别利用DPSV 9.5和SPSS 22.0软件作描述性统计分析和相关性分析,采用DPSV 9.5软件作主成分和聚类分析。
57NG208与南涧果蔗正反交后代抗倒伏指数和农艺性状表现见表4。由表4可知,9个指标的变异系数分布幅度较大,为11.57%~30.80%。其中抗倒伏指数的变异系数最大,达到30.80%,变幅为1.05~3.00;其次是折断力的变异系数,最大为27.41%,变幅为206.00~492.00 N。说明25份种质材料的抗倒伏遗传变异最为多样。锤度、株高、基部茎径、中部茎径、基部和中部茎径比值、重心高度、单茎重的变异系数依次为11.57%、11.86%、17.49%、11.96%、22.07%、12.67%、22.62%。前人研究认为变异系数高于10.00%表示样本间的差异较大[29]。本研究中9个主要指标的变异系数均大于10.00%,说明这25份种质性状明显分离,变异丰富。
表5可知,抗倒伏指数与锤度、基部茎径、基部和中部茎径比值、重心高度、单茎重和折断力呈极显著正相关,与株高和中部茎径呈负相关;锤度与基部茎径、基部和中部茎径比值呈极显著正相关,与单茎重呈显著正相关;株高与重心高度呈极显著正相关,与中部茎径呈正相关,与其他指标呈负相关;基部茎径与基部和中部茎径比值呈极显著正相关,与重心高度和折断力呈显著正相关;中部茎径与基部和中部茎径比值呈极显著负相关;基部和中部茎径比值与重心高度和折断力呈显著正相关。
用倒伏相关的9个指标进行主成分分析,其KMO检验结果为0.648,sig值为0,适用主成分分析法来计算权重。从主成分分析结果(表6)可知,前3个特征值≥1且累计贡献率为75.7717%,特征向量的总和为6.8195,因此可用前3个主成分反映该25份材料9个抗倒伏性状的指标情况。主成分1的特征值为4.0856,贡献率为45.3951%,此主成分特征向量中,抗倒伏指数、基部和中部茎径比值的特征向量最大依次分别是0.4747和0.4508,其次是基部茎径(0.4114)和折断力(0.3476)。因此可把主成分1称为茎径力学因子。主成分2的特征值为1.5750,贡献率为17.5001%,此主成分特征向量中,株高、重心高度的特征向量最大依次分别是0.7221和0.5619,其次是中部茎径(0.2142)。因此可把主成分2称为株高茎径因子。主成分3的特征值为1.1589,贡献率为12.8764%,此主成分特征向量中,中部茎径和单茎重的特征向量最大依次分别是0.7166和0.4632,其次是锤度(0.3102),由此可把主成分3称为农艺因子。
基于主成分得分,依照公式(1)~(3)求综合评价E值,E值大小综合反映出25份材料农艺性状对抗倒伏的综合特性,E值越大则抗倒伏性能越佳。由表7可知,25份参试材料中,0.5000<E<0.6000的有云瑞12-38-48、云瑞12-38-40和云瑞12-9-9等3份;0.6000<E<0.7000的有云瑞12-38-30、云瑞12-38-31、云瑞12-38-43和云瑞12-9-7等4份;E>0.7000的有PT43-52、云瑞12-9-45、云瑞12-38-32、云瑞12-9-5和云瑞12-38-4等5份,是比较好的抗倒伏材料。其中,云瑞12-9-5和云瑞12-38-46的E>0.8000,说明这2份材料的抗倒伏性能在所有材料中最优。
基于抗倒伏指数,参照李翔[12]的方法进行系统聚类分析,在卡方距离为1.00处将25份大茎野生种血缘后代种质材料分成三大类型,结合表3的评价标准可知,第Ⅰ类抗倒伏指数为2.35~3.00,抗倒伏材料13份,占52%,其中云瑞12-9-45、云瑞12-9-5、云瑞12-38-32和PT43-52的抗倒伏指数为3.00,其综合评价E值分别排在第4、1、5、3位;第Ⅱ类抗倒伏指数为1.05~1.46,倒伏材料5份,占20%;第Ⅲ类抗倒伏指数为1.58~2.00,半倒伏材料7份,占28%(图1)。
大茎野生种血缘后代农艺性状和茎秆折断力的遗传多样性分析是利用大茎野生种进行抗倒伏设计育种的前提,甘蔗种质资源性状的遗传多样性是其育种的基础[30],科学高效挖掘大茎野生种血缘后代抗倒伏相关性状的遗传多样性,是充分利用大茎野生种改良和培育抗倒伏甘蔗品种的关键。遗传变异系数是反映作物种质间遗传变异差异的重要指标[31],亦是遗传变异潜力大小的标志,可直接反映该正反交后代选育优良种质的阈值。周珊等[32]认为性状变异系数大,则表示从该群体中选出具有该性状优质材料的几率高。本研究结果表明,25份大茎野生种血缘后代种质材料具有丰富的遗传多样性,9个指标的遗传变异系数均大于10%,其中单茎重和抗倒伏指数的遗传变异系数最大分别为22.62%和30.80%,锤度的遗传变异系数最小为11.57%。从农艺性状株高和茎径的变异系数大小来看,本研究中25份材料株高和茎径的变异系数表现为中部茎径(茎径)>株高,与周珊等[32]对160份甘蔗品种/亲本材料的遗传多样性结论一致。沈银娟[10]在对440份甘蔗种质群体材料的折断力进行多样性分析中发现其折断力的变异幅度范围为6.6~32.1 N,变异系数为30%。而本研究中25份大茎野生种血缘后代种质的折断力范围为206.00~492.00 N,变异系数为27.41%,茎秆折断力比沈银娟所用材料结果高100多倍,分析其原因一方面可能是大茎野生种血缘后代种质材料本身纤维含量和机械强度高,其次是本研究测定时间在2月即甘蔗成熟期所致。
作物倒伏是诸多因素综合影响造成,当前众多学者针对茎秆的相关指标如节间长、株高、单茎重、弯曲高度、重心高度、节间长度和穿刺强度等开展研究[33]。刘明等[34]研究认为作物形态特征直接影响作物受力情况,进而影响作物倒伏。作物茎秆强度与植株形态和茎秆力学特性密切相关。周蓉等[35]提出作物地上部分重量、株高和直径等形态指标可作为评价倒伏的间接指标。据在大豆和水稻上直接影响抗倒伏性方面报道,茎秆强度与直径呈正相关,与株高呈负相关,茎秆基部强度对倒伏的影响最大[36-39],李召峰等[40]对40份新疆小麦品种资源茎秆形态特征与抗倒伏性开展研究,得出重心高度和地上部分鲜重是抗倒伏性的决定因素,白羿雄等[41]基于35份青稞种质资源的32个农艺性状开展抗倒伏评价体系研究发现,茎长、茎重、茎秆强度适合作为青稞抗倒伏性评价指标。在甘蔗上,沈银娟[10]和李翔[12]提出用茎秆折断力和穿刺力,抗倒伏指数及锤度、株高、基部茎径、基部和中部茎径比值等指标来评价甘蔗种质材料的抗倒伏性。本研究采用株高、基部茎径、基部和中部茎径比值、抗倒伏指数和折断力等9个指标,结合隶属函数法和聚类分析法对25份大茎野生种血缘后代的抗倒伏性进行评价结果表明,25份大茎野生种血缘后代种质材料被分成3类,第Ⅰ类为抗倒伏材料的有13份,占52%,其中云瑞12-9-45、云瑞12-9-5、云瑞12-38-32和PT43-52的抗倒伏指数为3.00,其综合评价E值分别排在第4、1、5、3位,说明这4份种质抗倒伏性能优良,但综合评价E值排在对照PT43-52前的材料有云瑞12-9-5和云瑞12-38-46两份,云瑞12-38-46的抗倒伏指数为2.94,综合评价值E位于第2,云瑞12-9-5抗倒伏指数为3,综合评价排第1。
姜元华等[42]认为抗倒伏指数是研究作物抗倒伏性的重要评价指标,为作物茎秆对外作用力的反作用力表征指数,其数值越大则抗倒伏性越强。刘唐兴等[43]对8份甘蓝型油菜品种的抗倒伏性与茎秆农艺性状进行关联分析,得出株高、单株重与抗倒伏指数呈正相关;陈有军等[44]对7份燕麦品种田间的倒伏性状研究发现,株高、第一茎节间干重与抗倒伏指数呈显著正相关。在甘蔗上,李翔[12]研究发现新植蔗的抗倒伏指数与基部和中部茎径比值、锤度呈显著正相关,本研究结论与其结论相吻合。
甘蔗种质材料的抗倒伏性是一个受多基因控制的复杂数量性状,不同的大茎野生种血缘种质材料具有不同的抗倒伏性,科学高效挖掘利用这些种质材料的抗倒伏性是甘蔗抗倒伏育种的重点。本研究的25份大茎野生种血缘后代种质材料中,聚为第Ⅰ类中的13份材料抗倒伏性能优异,综合评价得分较高,尤其是云瑞12-9-45、云瑞12-9-5、云瑞12-38-32、PT43-52和云瑞12-38-46等5份种质材料,除云瑞12-38-46的抗倒伏指数为2.94外,其余种质的抗倒伏指数均为3.00,其综合评价E值位于前5,建议在今后品种的抗倒伏性改良中重点加以利用。
