The high-yield variety XX 048 was used as the maternal parent, and the asexual offspring of F1 excellent single plants through open pollination and hybridization was obtained to select a new variety of cassava with good plant type, high yield, high starch, and wide adaptability. After a series of systematic breeding procedures such as sowing and seedling cultivation, field transplantation, single plant selection, single row experiment, line ratio experiment, regional experiment, and production experiment, a new cassava variety Gui 1505 with high yield, high starch, low hydrogen cyanide, and strong adaptability for both fresh food and processing was developed. The variety is an upright plant type, with mature stem outer skin being gray white and inner skin being green. The tubers are distributed irregularly and concentrated, with a cylindrical conical shape. The outer skin of the tubers is light brown, the inner skin is light red, and the flesh of the tubers is white. The average fresh potato yield of Gui 1505 in regional and production trials reached 46.68 t/hm2 and 49.69 t/hm2, respectively, both higher than the control NZ199. The starch content of the root tuber was more than 29.05%. The average hydrogen cyanide content in fresh potatoes was 20-30 mg/kg, which is lower than the control. The field identification result of mite resistance is moderate. It is suitable for planting in major cassava producing areas such as Guangxi, Guangdong, and Yunnan. This study provides new germplasm resources for China to achieve high-quality cassava production, which is of great significance for promoting potato farmers' income and enterprise efficiency.

为选育株型好、高产、高淀粉、广适性等综合性状优良的木薯新品种,本研究以高产品种新选048为母本,通过杂交获得F1优良单株的无性系后代,后经播种育苗、大田移栽、单株评选、单排试验、系比试验、区域性试验、生产性试验等一系列系统选育程序,育成了具有高产、高淀粉、低氢氰酸、适应性强等特点的鲜食及加工兼用型木薯新品种桂薯1505。该品种主要特征为株型直立,成熟种茎外皮为灰白色,内表皮为绿色;块根呈无规则集中分布,薯形为圆柱-圆锥形,块根外表皮呈淡褐色,内表皮呈浅红色,块根肉质白色。桂薯1505在区域性试验和生产性试验中平均鲜薯产量分别达到46.68、49.69 t/hm2,均高于对照NZ199;块根淀粉含量稳定在29.05%以上;鲜薯平均氢氰酸含量为20~30 mg/kg,低于对照;抗螨性田间鉴定结果为中抗。适合在广西、广东和云南等木薯主产区推广种植,本研究为我国实现木薯良种化生产提供新的种质资源,对促进薯农增收、企业增效具有重要意义。

为选育株型好、高产、高淀粉、广适性等综合性状优良的木薯新品种,本研究以高产品种新选048为母本,通过杂交获得F1优良单株的无性系后代,后经播种育苗、大田移栽、单株评选、单排试验、系比试验、区域性试验、生产性试验等一系列系统选育程序,育成了具有高产、高淀粉、低氢氰酸、适应性强等特点的鲜食及加工兼用型木薯新品种桂薯1505。该品种主要特征为株型直立,成熟种茎外皮为灰白色,内表皮为绿色;块根呈无规则集中分布,薯形为圆柱-圆锥形,块根外表皮呈淡褐色,内表皮呈浅红色,块根肉质白色。桂薯1505在区域性试验和生产性试验中平均鲜薯产量分别达到46.68、49.69 t/hm2,均高于对照NZ199;块根淀粉含量稳定在29.05%以上;鲜薯平均氢氰酸含量为20~30 mg/kg,低于对照;抗螨性田间鉴定结果为中抗。适合在广西、广东和云南等木薯主产区推广种植,本研究为我国实现木薯良种化生产提供新的种质资源,对促进薯农增收、企业增效具有重要意义。

The high-yield variety XX 048 was used as the maternal parent, and the asexual offspring of F1 excellent single plants through open pollination and hybridization was obtained to select a new variety of cassava with good plant type, high yield, high starch, and wide adaptability. After a series of systematic breeding procedures such as sowing and seedling cultivation, field transplantation, single plant selection, single row experiment, line ratio experiment, regional experiment, and production experiment, a new cassava variety Gui 1505 with high yield, high starch, low hydrogen cyanide, and strong adaptability for both fresh food and processing was developed. The variety is an upright plant type, with mature stem outer skin being gray white and inner skin being green. The tubers are distributed irregularly and concentrated, with a cylindrical conical shape. The outer skin of the tubers is light brown, the inner skin is light red, and the flesh of the tubers is white. The average fresh potato yield of Gui 1505 in regional and production trials reached 46.68 t/hm2 and 49.69 t/hm2, respectively, both higher than the control NZ199. The starch content of the root tuber was more than 29.05%. The average hydrogen cyanide content in fresh potatoes was 20-30 mg/kg, which is lower than the control. The field identification result of mite resistance is moderate. It is suitable for planting in major cassava producing areas such as Guangxi, Guangdong, and Yunnan. This study provides new germplasm resources for China to achieve high-quality cassava production, which is of great significance for promoting potato farmers' income and enterprise efficiency.

木薯(Manihot esculenta Crantz)是大戟科木薯属植物,是世界三大薯类作物之一,有着“地下粮仓”“淀粉之王”的美誉[1],木薯一般分为工业类、食用类和饲用类3种,其用途广泛,是食品、饲料、医药、化工、生物燃料等行业的重要原料,具有十分重要的战略和经济价值[2]。广西作为我国木薯的主要种植区和加工产区,其木薯种植面积和加工产量均占全国的60%以上,然而,木薯产业近年来受国际淀粉市场波动、生产成本急剧上涨、效益偏低等诸多因素影响,国际竞争力偏弱,产业发展面临着越来越严峻的形势,同时,由于受到木薯品种单一化、自主创新品种少、病虫害为害加剧、机械化程度偏低等因素制约,极大地影响了木薯产业的可持续发展[3-9],因此,亟需加强木薯新品种创制工作。要实现木薯高产高淀粉,最关键的措施就是选育株型直立、低氢氰酸、高产、高淀粉、适应性强等综合性状优良的木薯新品种,以满足不同类型需求及现代食品加工对原料品质的要求。
近年来,受国际木薯育种研究新方向的影响,通过木薯育种科研人员的通力合作,多个木薯新品种通过审定并推广应用[10-16],缓解了我国木薯品种单一和退化严重的状况,但是这些品种大多数只具备高产、高淀粉、低氢氰酸、抗螨等其中的1~2个特性,广西主栽的木薯品种仍是华南5号、华南205、南植199等,除华南5号由中国热带农业科学院热带作物品种资源研究所通过杂交选育外[17],其他均通过从国外引种或引进筛选等方式获得的品种,广西本土有性杂交育成的国审品种屈指可数[15],缺乏本土的株型好、高产、高淀粉、广适性等综合性状优良的木薯新品种。
广西南亚热带农业科学研究所于2008年开始从事木薯杂交育种技术研究,多年来构建了一套完整的木薯杂交育种技术体系[18-23]。基于该技术体系,本研究以高产木薯品种新选048为母本进行开放式自然杂交,采集成熟的果实,后经播种育苗、大田移栽、单株评选、系比试验、区域性试验、生产性试验等一系列系统选育程序,育成具有株型直立、高产、高淀粉、低氢氰酸、抗逆性强等优良特性的食用和加工兼用型木薯新品种桂薯1505,于2022年12月通过热带作物品种审定(审定编号:热品审2023002),为木薯良种化生产提供新的种质材料,促进薯农增收、企业增效,为我国木薯产业的健康可持续发展提供良种支撑。
亲本母本材料为新选048,是2006年广西大学经过系统选育和定向选择育成的木薯品种[13]。参试对照品种为南植199(NZ199),是1995年中国科学院华南植物所从国外引进的组培苗中经无性系多代评选育成的木薯品种,是目前广西区内主栽的木薯品种。
2011年充分利用自身的地理优势在广西崇左市龙州县广西南亚热带农业科学研究所木薯育种基地进行开放杂交、采集成熟的果实,通过催芽、培养技术获得实生苗;2012年起,通过田间观测结合分子标记筛选块根低氢氰酸材料、鉴定木薯薯型、薯肉颜色及品质含量材料等,获得优异株系;通过实生单株筛选、评价和扩繁,田间观测及系统评价,选育获得新品系桂薯1505。该品种具有产量高、抗性较强、淀粉含量高、氢氰酸含量低、株型好等特点。其选育过程如下:2015—2017年在广西南亚热带农业科学研究所育种基地进行品种比较试验;2018—2019年在广西龙州、广西合浦、广西宜州、云南保山、广东开平市进行区域性试验;2020—2021年开展生产性试验;2022年12月通过专家现场鉴评,正式命名为桂薯1505(Gui1505)。2023年12月通过全国热带作物品种审定。
2015—2017年在广西龙州县进行品种初级、中级比较试验,2017年广西龙州和合浦进行高级品系比较试验,采用随机区组设计,小区面积4.0 m×6.0 m,株行距1.0 m×0.8 m,设置3次重复。对照均为南植199(NZ199)。在收获时进行鲜薯产量、淀粉含量、抗螨性(朱砂叶螨,俗称红蜘蛛)、株型、薯型等综合评价,筛选综合性状优良的木薯品系。氢氰酸快速检测显示颜色区域为分为9个区域,对应9个等级,Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅳ、Ⅴ、Ⅵ、Ⅶ、Ⅷ、Ⅸ分别代表其氢氰酸含量区间为0~5、5~10、10~20、20~30、30~50、50~100、100~200、200~400、400~800 mg/kg;木薯朱砂叶螨的抗性级别分为免疫(IM)、高抗(HR)、抗(R)、中抗(MR)、感(S)、高感(HS)6个级别,各抗螨级别的抗螨指数范围依次为0、0.1~12.5、12.6~37.5、37.6~62.5、62.6~87.5、>87.5。
2018—2019年,在广西龙州县、广西合浦县、广西宜州、云南保山隆阳区、广东开平市共5个区试点,以主栽品种南植199为对照,开展区域性试验。采用随机区组设计,每个小区面积为50.0 m2,木薯株行距1.0 m×0.8 m,设置3次重复。主要观测鲜薯产量、淀粉含量和抗虫性等,验证其产量性状、淀粉含量和适应性,以期获得具有适应性广、高产、优质等综合性状优良的木薯新品种。
2020—2021年,分别在广西龙州县彬桥乡、广西合浦县廉江镇、广西宜州区洛西镇、云南保山隆阳区、广东开平市长沙镇共5个区试点开展生产性试验。参试品种为桂薯1505,对照品种为南植199,对丰产性、适应性、稳产性等方面进行数据调查和鉴定,为桂薯1505的品种认定和推广提供科学依据。
2022年专家现场(广西龙州点)鉴评时参照《木薯种质资源描述规范》[24],测定株高、主茎高度、主茎直径、单株鲜薯产量等性状指标,并现场测定鲜薯产量,随机取样,3次重复。植物学性状参照《木薯种质资源描述规范》[24],鉴评时参照《热带作物品种审定规范 木薯》[25]
广西龙州与河池试验点随机抽取鲜薯样品送至广西益谱检测技术有限公司、农业农村部亚热带果品蔬菜质量监督检验测试中心测定鲜薯淀粉、氢氰酸含量,其中淀粉含量参照GB/T 5009.9—2016、氢氰酸含量参照GB/T 5009.5—2016测定。
对桂薯1505在内的24份材料,进行指纹图谱鉴定。利用34对微卫星标记引物对24份木薯材料进行引物筛选,在1.2%琼脂糖凝胶上以120 V电泳30 min进行分离,通过等位基因对比获取目标品种唯一特征带,作为该品种的标记指纹。
运用WPS Office(11.8.2.9958)软件的WPS表格对试验数据进行整理统计,用DPS 7.05软件对数据进行方差分析。
2015—2017年,以NZ199为对照,开展桂薯1505木薯新品种(系)比较试验(表1)。经3 a品种比较试验,桂薯1505平均鲜薯产量连续3 a均显著高于对照南植199,分别增产13.95%、15.77%和22.45%,具有丰产、稳定等特性;桂薯1505的淀粉含量均在31.28%以上,3 a平均淀粉含量为32.30%,显著高于对照,比对照提高12.1个百分点,桂薯1505在比较试验中表现出高淀粉的优良品质。采用木薯块根氢氰酸含量快速简易检测技术对薯肉氢氰酸含量进行测定,桂薯1505的氢氰酸含量均为20~30 mg/kg,等级均为Ⅳ,而对照南植199的氢氰酸含量均为30~50 mg/kg,等级为Ⅴ,桂薯1505的氢氰酸含量低于对照1个等级,且低于食用木薯氢氢氰酸含量标准(50 mg/kg),由此表明,桂薯1505属于低氢氰酸含量品种。桂薯1505朱砂叶螨抗性评价均为中抗,抗性级别与对照品种南植199相当。
2018—2019年品种区域试验结果显示(表2),桂薯1505在5个试点的长势强,其平均鲜薯产量为46.68 t/hm2,显著高于对照,比对照增产16.29%;2018年,桂薯1505淀粉含量均在29.05%以上,平均淀粉含量为30.74%,显著高于对照,比对照增加5.68个百分点;2019年,桂薯1505淀粉含量均在30.38%以上,平均淀粉含量为30.84%,显著高于对照,比对照增加6.31个百分点;块根氢氰酸含量范围值为20~30 mg/kg,低于对照南植199;桂薯1505朱砂叶螨抗性评价为中抗,抗性级别与对照品种南植199相当,抗性级别与系比试验结果一致。2 a的区域性试验结果表明,桂薯1505在广西、云南和广东主要木薯种植区具有良好的适应性和丰产性,是一个高产、高淀粉等优良性状的新品系。
表3可知,2020年桂薯1505在5个试点的平均鲜薯产量为49.27 t/hm2,比对照南植199平均鲜薯产量41.16 t/hm2增产19.70%;2021年桂薯1505在5个试点平均鲜薯产量为50.11 t/hm2,比对照南植199平均鲜薯产量42.17 t/hm2增产18.83%,2 a间桂薯1505的产量表现稳定;2020年,桂薯1505在5个试点的淀粉平均含量为31.22%,比对照提高6.95个百分点;2021年,桂薯1505在5个试点的淀粉含量均显著高于对照南植199的淀粉含量,其平均淀粉含量为31.68%,比对照提高7.16个百分点,可见,桂薯1505的淀粉含量较高。桂薯1505块根氢氰酸含量范围为20~30 mg/kg,低于对照品种,表现稳定。由此可见,桂薯1505具有广泛的适应性和稳定的丰产性,宜在广西、云南和广东木薯种植区大面积推广。
2022年12月27日,由农业农村部南亚热带作物中心组织相关专家,在广西壮族自治区龙州县广西南亚热带农业科学研究所对桂薯1505品种进行现场鉴评,示范种植面积666.7 m2,对照品种为南植199,于2022年3月15日播种,土壤类型为砂壤,土壤pH 7.5。现场测产小区面积8.0 m2,随机取样,3次重复,平均小区产量47.97 kg,折合鲜薯产量59.72 t/hm2,比对照南植199增产57.01%,其结果与历年区域性试验和生产性试验结果一致,增产达到显著水平。桂薯1505块根干物质率为38.0%,现场采用块根氢氰酸含量快速检测方法,桂薯1505鲜薯薯肉氢氰酸含量为20~30 mg/kg,低于对照南植199。
桂薯1505生育期为9~10个月,其植物学特征表现为株型直立,株高在2.5~3.3 m之间,成熟主茎直径在2.5~3.0 cm之间,叶片纸质,掌状深裂,裂片9个,裂片呈披针形,中间裂片长15.0~22.0 cm,叶柄绿色,叶柄长30.0~35.0 cm,成熟种茎外皮为灰白色,内表皮为绿色;块根呈无规则集中分布,薯形为圆柱-圆锥形,块根外表皮呈淡褐色,内表皮呈浅红色,块根肉质白色;雌花花萼长约9.0~11.0 mm,花萼带紫红色,裂片长圆状披针形,柱头外弯,子房绿带紫;雄花花萼长约6.0 mm,花萼带紫红色,雄蕊长5.0~6.0 mm;蒴果椭圆状,表面粗糙,具6条狭而波状纵翅;种子长约1.0 cm,种皮硬壳质,具斑纹,光滑(图1)。
对桂薯1505在内的24份材料进行指纹图谱鉴定。利用34对微卫星标记引物对24份木薯材料进行引物筛选,筛选出1对扩增条带清晰且多态性好的引物C103:正向引物为TGTTGGCCATATTTCCCATT;反向引物为TTGAACACACTTGGCCAGAA,在1.2%琼脂糖凝胶上以120 V电泳30 min,可以获得7个等位基因,在这24份材料中桂薯1505具有唯一的特征带C103-cdg,见表4图2,C103可作为该品种的标记指纹。
选择无积水地块,种植前采用1犁2耙,深翻30~35 cm,地表平整细碎,无杂草及作物秸秆。
选用新鲜,粗壮密节,芽点完整,不损皮芽,无病虫害的主茎。每段种茎长度10~15 cm、5~7个芽点。
一般3—4月种植,采用平放种植方式。株行距为1.0 m´0.8 m。每667 m2植800~1000株为宜。
下种时每667 m2施入N∶P2O5∶K2O为15∶5∶10的复合肥40~50 kg。植后30~40 d,苗高15~20 cm时,进行第一次中耕除草。植后60~70 d进行第二次中耕除草。一般追施2~3次,每667 m2追施上述复合肥30~40 kg,于植后30~40 d内施用。结薯肥以硫酸钾为主,于植后60~90 d每667 m2施用10~20 kg。
木薯产量和淀粉含量是衡量木薯品种优劣的重要指标,二者含量越高,转化效益越大[14]。桂薯1505是以新选048为母本,通过开放授粉,后经过一系列系统选育程序,育成了具有高产、稳产、高淀粉、直立株型、低氢氰酸等特点的鲜食及加工兼用型优良木薯新品种。通过多年的比较试验,桂薯1505表现出较高的丰产性和稳产性,在生产性试验中,平均鲜薯产量为49.69 t/hm2,比对照南植199提高了19.24%,平均淀粉含量为31.45%,比对照平均增产4.05个百分点,桂薯1505可用于加工生产淀粉和酒精,按单价700元/t计,其鲜薯产值达3.48万元/hm2,经济效益十分显著。
桂薯1505薯肉氢氰酸含量低,其食味粉而香,耐煮性好,在2024年广西“好种好品”擂台赛获得金奖,适合制作油炸型即食木薯薯片,可成为木薯薯片加工专用品种。此外,桂薯1505株型直立,分枝植株顶端分枝部位高,分枝短,在目前食用木薯品种中属于分枝相对少的品种,该品种结薯集中,块根水平伸长、大小均匀,薯形为圆柱-圆锥形,商品薯率高,适合间套种或机械化种植;因此,配套绿色高效栽培技术,可获得较高产量和淀粉含量。近年来,朱砂叶螨是木薯种植过程中危害比较严重的病虫害[26],桂薯1505中抗木薯朱砂叶螨,在木薯产区种植适应性强。广西、广东和云南3省是木薯主要种植区,经过多年试验,桂薯1505表现出了极强的丰产稳产性,在生产上有良好的推广应用前景,其推广种植对农民增产增收具有重要的促进作用,对推动木薯产业的发展具有重要意义。
综上所述,桂薯1505是具有高产、高淀粉、低氢氰酸、可鲜食,糯性强,适应性广,直立株型和中抗螨等特点的优质木薯品种,适合加工成木薯糖水,也可制成干片、生产淀粉、生物质能源酒精及饲用,适合在广西、云南和广东等相似生态区域的木薯种植区推广种植。
