The introduction and evaluation of foreign clones play an important role in promoting the development of rubber trees in China. In order to evaluate the adaptability of Indonesian rubber tree clone Reshi 11-107, the stem circumference growth, dry rubber yield, rubber production and discharge characteristics, and natural rubber quality were examined in the clone trail test, which was arranged according to the breeding technical regulations. The average annual stem girth of Reshi 11-107 increased by 7.6 cm before tapping, and increased by 3.0 cm after tapping, and the fast-growing characteristics were obvious. The average yield was 58.41 g and the dry gum content was 33.37% in the first 5 tapping years, which were significantly better than that of the control clone RRIM600. Reshi 11-107 has a large number of laticifers in the bark, the initial flow rate of rubber discharge is fast, the plug index is low, the thiol content is significantly higher than that of the control, and the sucrose content is equivalent to that of the control. It has good characteristics of rubber production and discharge, better potential for rubber production, and good adaptability to cold damage. Reshi 11-107 natural rubber has large molecular weight, high ash content, high initial plasticity value, high tensile strength, high tear strength and good physical and mechanical properties. In conclusion, the comprehensive characters of Reshi 11-107 are better, which could adapt to the planting environment in China, and could be expanded in the type I planting area.

国外品种的引进和适应性评价在推动我国橡胶树发展上发挥重要作用。本研究以引进印度尼西亚橡胶树品种热试11-107为材料,参照育种技术规程布置品种比较试验,并对其茎围生长量、干胶产量、产排胶特性、天然橡胶质量等进行综合评价。结果表明:热试11-107开割前年均茎围增粗7.6 cm,开割后年均增粗3.0 cm,速生特性明显;开割前5年平均刀次干胶产量为58.41 g,干胶含量为33.37%,均显著优于对照品种RRIM600;热试11-107品种树皮中乳管列数多,排胶初速度快,堵塞指数低,硫醇含量显著高于对照,蔗糖含量与对照相当,具有良好的产排胶特性,产胶潜力大,且寒害适用能力较好。热试11-107天然橡胶分子量大,灰分含量高,塑性初值高,硫化胶的拉伸强度大,撕裂强度大,物理机械性能好。因此,热试11-107综合性状较好,适应我国植胶环境,可在Ⅰ类植胶区扩大试种。

国外品种的引进和适应性评价在推动我国橡胶树发展上发挥重要作用。本研究以引进印度尼西亚橡胶树品种热试11-107为材料,参照育种技术规程布置品种比较试验,并对其茎围生长量、干胶产量、产排胶特性、天然橡胶质量等进行综合评价。结果表明:热试11-107开割前年均茎围增粗7.6 cm,开割后年均增粗3.0 cm,速生特性明显;开割前5年平均刀次干胶产量为58.41 g,干胶含量为33.37%,均显著优于对照品种RRIM600;热试11-107品种树皮中乳管列数多,排胶初速度快,堵塞指数低,硫醇含量显著高于对照,蔗糖含量与对照相当,具有良好的产排胶特性,产胶潜力大,且寒害适用能力较好。热试11-107天然橡胶分子量大,灰分含量高,塑性初值高,硫化胶的拉伸强度大,撕裂强度大,物理机械性能好。因此,热试11-107综合性状较好,适应我国植胶环境,可在Ⅰ类植胶区扩大试种。

The introduction and evaluation of foreign clones play an important role in promoting the development of rubber trees in China. In order to evaluate the adaptability of Indonesian rubber tree clone Reshi 11-107, the stem circumference growth, dry rubber yield, rubber production and discharge characteristics, and natural rubber quality were examined in the clone trail test, which was arranged according to the breeding technical regulations. The average annual stem girth of Reshi 11-107 increased by 7.6 cm before tapping, and increased by 3.0 cm after tapping, and the fast-growing characteristics were obvious. The average yield was 58.41 g and the dry gum content was 33.37% in the first 5 tapping years, which were significantly better than that of the control clone RRIM600. Reshi 11-107 has a large number of laticifers in the bark, the initial flow rate of rubber discharge is fast, the plug index is low, the thiol content is significantly higher than that of the control, and the sucrose content is equivalent to that of the control. It has good characteristics of rubber production and discharge, better potential for rubber production, and good adaptability to cold damage. Reshi 11-107 natural rubber has large molecular weight, high ash content, high initial plasticity value, high tensile strength, high tear strength and good physical and mechanical properties. In conclusion, the comprehensive characters of Reshi 11-107 are better, which could adapt to the planting environment in China, and could be expanded in the type I planting area.

巴西橡胶树(Hevea brasiliensis Muell. Arg.)原产于巴西亚马孙河流域,是天然橡胶的主要来源,1876年由英国人魏克汉引种到东南亚并大规模种植。巴西橡胶树人工栽培后,以产量提升为主要目标的品种选育工作在各植胶国相继开展,经过一个多世纪的发展,先后选育和推广了系列优良品种,如马来西亚的PB系列、RRIM系列,印度尼西亚的PR系列、IRR系列,越南的RRIV系列,斯里兰卡的RRIC系列,在推动世界天然橡胶产业发展方面发挥了重要作用[1-2]。天然橡胶产量从未经选择的实生树的不足400 kg/hm2提升至1400 kg/hm2以上,其中,越南和印度的天然橡胶产量超过1600 kg/hm2。在个别品种上,印度尼西亚新品种IRR104、IRR112、IRR118和IRR220等产量超过2000 kg/hm2,马来西亚新品种RRIM3001的产量接近3000 kg/hm2
我国植胶区地处热带北缘,寒潮、台风天气频发,通过宜胶地选择、环境类型区划与耐寒抗风栽培技术集成应用,在北纬18º以北的国际植胶禁区上建立自己的植胶基地,实现产业从无到有[2];通过引种试种,筛选出RRIM600、PR107等优良无性系并在生产中推广应用,推动产业快速发展[3]。在“引种和自主选育相结合”的育种策略下,利用国外优良品种进行种质创新,结合我国植胶环境特点,经过几代人的努力,选育出了热研7-33-97[4]、文昌11、大丰95[5]和云研77-4[6]等一批适合中国不同植胶环境的耐寒抗风高产新品种,其中,超高产品种热研8-79达到国际最高产量水平[7],育成新品种的大面积推广应用,为产业发展提供基础保障。
本研究以引进品种热试11-107(试验编号)为材料,通过对该品种在比较试验阶段的多年系统鉴定,评价其在我国植胶环境下的适应性,为创新利用和示范推广提供参考。
热试11-107为印度尼西亚橡胶研究所选育,亲本为BPM101×FX2784,资料显示,开割前茎围年均增粗10.8 cm,生长4~5 a即达到开割标准。开割后茎围年均增粗3.8 cm,10 a树龄单株木材材积为0.60 m3,旺产期刀次株产干胶58.3 g,年株产干胶6.5 kg,且具有良好的抗风害、抗病性和不易死皮的特性。该品种2009年引入我国后即进行增殖扩繁,2011年在中国热带农业科学院试验场四队布置品种比较试验,2019年开割,采用S/2 d3非刺激割制。
比较试验以品种RRIM600为对照,3次重复,每小区60株,定植株行距为3.0 m×7.0 m;抗寒前哨试验设在广西龙州广西南亚热带农业科学研究所基地,2019年6月定植,以品种93-114为对照,3次重复,每小区5株,株行距1.0 m×1.0 m。
每年年末用软尺逐株测量距地面100 cm处茎围增粗情况。
试验材料开割投产后,参照橡胶树育种技术规程进行干胶产量测定[8]
2020年11月,选择15株生长、排胶均正常的树进行胶乳生理指标测定,统计割胶后0~5 min所排胶乳量计算排胶初速度,以排胶初速度与总产量之比乘以100计算堵塞指数;收集5~20 min流出的胶乳样品,冰浴后带回实验室测定蔗糖、硫醇、无机磷及镁离子含量[9]。同月采集树干树皮,采用石蜡切片法观测石细胞数量和乳管列数[10]
采集试验品种胶乳,按照天然生胶加工要求制作干胶样品,进行天然橡胶生胶特性和硫化胶物理机械性能的测定分析。其中,含氮量测定方法参照GB/T 8088—2008天然生胶和天然胶乳氮含量的测定[11],塑性保持率参照GB/T 3517—2014天然生胶塑性保持率(PRI)的测定[12],门尼黏度参照GB/T 1232.1—2016未硫化橡胶用圆盘剪切黏度计进行测定 第1部分:门尼黏度的测定[13],硫化胶定伸应力参照GB/T 528—2009硫化橡胶或热塑性橡胶拉伸应力应变性能的测定[14],硫化胶撕裂强度参照GB/T 529—2008硫化橡胶和热塑性橡胶撕裂强度的测定[15]
分别以田间调查和室内低温模拟评价形式进行。在抗寒前哨试验点自然低温发生后调查受害情况;室内模拟寒害在人工气候室内完成,选择30株生长状况相对一致的2蓬叶袋苗,分2组在4 ℃的人工气候室内分别处理3 d和5 d,随后移至室外,30 d后观测恢复生长情况。
观测苗期标准叶蓬,即选取已经长出四蓬叶的苗期植株,其顶蓬叶的下一蓬即为标准叶蓬进行观测,相关特征描述参照橡胶树种质资源描述规范[16]
采用Excel软件对数据进行统计分析和作图。
叶蓬半球形,大叶柄弓形,呈平伸姿态,三小叶显著分离,侧小叶基部内斜;叶色绿,有一定光泽度,叶缘具大波浪,叶片菱形,叶顶部渐尖,基部渐尖,叶痕半圆形或马蹄形,芽眼与叶痕距离远;胶乳白色。
试验结果表明,热试11-107开割前较RRIM600茎围增长更快(表1),平均茎围为53.4 cm,年均增粗7.64 cm,RRIM600平均茎围为46.5 cm,年均增粗6.64 cm;热试11-107开割后第1~5割年茎围平均增粗3.0 cm,比RRIM600(3.2 cm)低0.2 cm,差异均不显著。
试验区1~5割年干胶产量鉴定结果表明(表2),热试11-107较RRIM600产量表现更优,且能较早进入高产期,平均刀次干胶产量为58.41 g,极显著高于RRIM600(44.76 g)(P<0.01);平均干胶含量为33.37%,比RRIM600高1.05个百分点,差异显著(P<0.05)。但在第5割年,试验所在地4—7月干旱、9—10月持续阴雨,产量受一定影响。鉴于该品种早熟,建议加强胶园抚管,保障胶树的产排胶能力。
胶乳诊断法能较好地评价胶树的产排胶特性,进而为指导生产提供依据[17-21]。胶乳生理指标测定分析结果表明,热试11-107有较高的排胶初速度、硫醇含量、无机磷含量和蔗糖含量,较低的堵塞指数,具有高产品种的优良产排胶特性。由表3可知,排胶初速度为3.23 mL/min,硫醇含量为0.58 mmol/L,均显著高于RRIM600,堵塞指数为1.29%,显著低于RRIM600(1.72%),无机磷、镁离子和蔗糖含量与RRIM600相当(图1)。
乳管是天然橡胶合成和贮存的场所,树干树皮中的乳管数量是决定天然橡胶产量的关键因素之一。割胶树的树皮厚度达0.7 cm左右时,才能保证有足够符合标准的树皮供割胶,使树皮的消耗和再生维持平衡。通过对树干树皮石蜡切片统计分析结果看,热试11-107在开割时有较好的树皮厚度,乳管数量平均16.3列,多于RRIM600(13.7列),且有相对较少的石细胞(表4图2),是保障品种产量的重要支撑。
对热试11-107所产天然橡胶进行性能测定,结果表明(表5),生胶各项质量指标均符合橡胶标准GB/T 8081—2008要求,在分子量、氮含量、塑性初值和门尼粘度方面均高于RRIM600,其中重均分子量超过200万Da。
通过对硫化胶的物理机械性能测试分析,可对割胶管理和调控橡胶加工质量有一定的指导意义。试验结果表明(表6),热试11-107的拉伸强度为27.8 MPa,撕裂强度为51.4 kN/m,这与生胶测定中其较大的分子量有关,分子量越大,分子链交联密度越大,橡胶的弹性和强力就越大。
室内模拟试验结果表明(表7),热试11-107在4 ℃处理3 d后叶部受害,恢复常温后经历叶片脱落、顶芽萌动的过程,无茎干受害和植株死亡情况;处理5 d后叶部明显受害,叶片干枯且长时间在茎干上不脱落,30 d后仅有1株茎干受害且死亡,其余植株均恢复生长,与对照93-114情况相同。抗寒前哨试验点所在地区2020—2021年冬春,有明显的降温过程,在2020年12月有2次5 ℃的低温,2021年1月也有3个降温过程,最低温度出现在1月2日,为2.5 ℃,田间调查结果显示,热试11-107平均寒害级别为0.33,对照93-114无寒害发生。
橡胶树是典型的热带作物,在以产量为橡胶树选育种主要目标下,通过优良亲本杂交-初级比较试验-品种比较试验-品种区域试验的常规育种程序,马来西亚、印度尼西亚、斯里兰卡等传统植胶国选育和推广的橡胶树新品种,推动了世界橡胶树产业的快速发展。而我国植胶区地处热带北缘,光热条件不足,严重制约着橡胶树的生长、发育和产胶[2]。因此,我国橡胶树品种选育要兼顾产量和抗性,尤其是抗寒特性,通过大量实验研究,创新了抗寒前哨试验、室内模拟鉴定等我国特有的橡胶树耐寒早期鉴定技术,筛选创制了GTI、天任31-45、湛试327-13等抗寒高产种质和新品种[22]。本研究中,通过对引进品种热试11-107在比较试验阶段的多年综合鉴定和耐寒性评价,其产量及生长性状与资料数据相当,同时具一定的抗寒能力,在我国表现较好的适应性。
研究表明,树干树皮中的乳管数量与天然橡胶产量呈正相关[23-25],采用石蜡切片法观察统计树皮结构和乳管列数,是从发育的角度分析品种间产量差异最直接有效的方法。另一方面,胶乳生理指标可解析橡胶树的产排胶特性及潜力,国内外相关研究结果表明,蔗糖、硫醇及无机磷含量为主要指标。其中,蔗糖是天然橡胶生物合成的原料,硫醇可以提高胶乳再生能力,优良品种具有乳管列数多,排胶速度快、堵塞指数低、干胶含量高、硫醇含量和蔗糖含量高等特性。本研究中,热试11-107原生皮厚度适中,10龄树树皮中乳管列数多、石细胞数量少,有较好的产胶基础。在胶乳生理指标诊断方面,其排胶初速度大,堵塞指数低,硫醇含量高,表现出较好的产排胶特性。
胶乳中除橡胶烃和水以外的非胶物质对橡胶性能有明显影响,与品种、季节、气候、土壤、割胶制度等有密切关系。研究表明,分子量大小及分布、氮含量及拉伸强度等指标在不同品种间存在明显差异,进而影响到加工性能[26-29]。对品种天然橡胶质量的检测评价,能更利于橡胶制品的选材,进而提升经济效益。本研究中,热试11-107的天然橡胶重均分子量超过200万Da,硫化胶的拉伸强度大,表现出较好的物理机械性能,希望在其扩大种植后,通过进一步的试验深入研究其天然橡胶质量,为针对性的加工利用提供指导。
本研究对象为国外引进优良品种,按照我国育种程序,对其开展比较试验研究,通过多年的综合鉴定评价,其在茎围生长、干胶产量、抗寒性和天然橡胶品质等重要特性方面均有较好表现。本研究具体实施地位于海南省儋州市,在植胶环境上属Ⅰ类区,受台风和低温影响均相对较小。适宜该区域的品种可在海南和云南Ⅰ类地区扩大试种和推广,对丰富种植品种和降低单一品种风险上具有重要意义。
