In order to obtain the structural mechanical property parameters of rubber bark and solve the problem that there is no reliable reference for accurate detection of rubber depth and accurate control of skin loss thickness in the research and development of mechanized rubber picking equipment, a test device for nonlinear mechanical property measurement of rubber bark based on PLC was designed to realize automatic continuous detection and data collection of rubber bark mechanical properties with high precision and low loss measurement of bark thickness. The mechanical properties of bark of 15-, 20- and 25-year-old rubber trees of Reyan 7-33-97 and PR107 were studied, and the mathematical model of piercing force with piercing depth was established. The experimental results showed that the performance of the device was stable, and the piercing force curves of different strains and different ages were similar, showing a high-low-high trend, and were highly correlated with the layered characteristics of the bark structure. Under the same age, the piercing force of two strains of Reyan 7-33-97 and PR107 was not significantly different, and the piercing force of older trees of the same strain was greater than that of younger trees. The maximum piercing force reached 48.5 N. The test device meets the requirement of detecting structural mechanical parameters of rubber bark and provides theoretical basis for the research and development of mechanized rubber harvesting equipment.

为了获取橡胶树皮结构力学特性参数,解决机械化采胶装备研发中采胶深度精准探测和耗皮厚度精准控制技术无可靠依据提供参考的问题,设计一种基于可编程序逻辑控制器(programmable logic controller,PLC)的橡胶树皮非线性力学性能测量的试验装置,实现橡胶树皮力学特性的自动化连续探测和数据采集,以及树皮厚度的高精低损测量。并应用于热研7-33-97和PR107两个品系的15龄、20龄、25龄橡胶树上进行树皮力学性能试验研究,建立刺入过程中刺入力随刺入深度变化的数学模型。结果表明:该装置工作性能稳定,不同品系、不同树龄的树皮刺入力随刺入深度的变化曲线形态相近,均呈高-低-高的趋势变化,并与树皮结构分层特性高度相关;相同树龄下,热研7-33-97和PR107两个品系的刺入力情况差异不明显,同品系的大树龄比小树龄刺入力更大,在1.0 mm针刺下,刺入力最大峰值可达48.5 N。该试验装置满足橡胶树皮结构力学特性参数的探测需求,并为机械化采胶装备的研发提供理论基础。

为了获取橡胶树皮结构力学特性参数,解决机械化采胶装备研发中采胶深度精准探测和耗皮厚度精准控制技术无可靠依据提供参考的问题,设计一种基于可编程序逻辑控制器(programmable logic controller,PLC)的橡胶树皮非线性力学性能测量的试验装置,实现橡胶树皮力学特性的自动化连续探测和数据采集,以及树皮厚度的高精低损测量。并应用于热研7-33-97和PR107两个品系的15龄、20龄、25龄橡胶树上进行树皮力学性能试验研究,建立刺入过程中刺入力随刺入深度变化的数学模型。结果表明:该装置工作性能稳定,不同品系、不同树龄的树皮刺入力随刺入深度的变化曲线形态相近,均呈高-低-高的趋势变化,并与树皮结构分层特性高度相关;相同树龄下,热研7-33-97和PR107两个品系的刺入力情况差异不明显,同品系的大树龄比小树龄刺入力更大,在1.0 mm针刺下,刺入力最大峰值可达48.5 N。该试验装置满足橡胶树皮结构力学特性参数的探测需求,并为机械化采胶装备的研发提供理论基础。

In order to obtain the structural mechanical property parameters of rubber bark and solve the problem that there is no reliable reference for accurate detection of rubber depth and accurate control of skin loss thickness in the research and development of mechanized rubber picking equipment, a test device for nonlinear mechanical property measurement of rubber bark based on PLC was designed to realize automatic continuous detection and data collection of rubber bark mechanical properties with high precision and low loss measurement of bark thickness. The mechanical properties of bark of 15-, 20- and 25-year-old rubber trees of Reyan 7-33-97 and PR107 were studied, and the mathematical model of piercing force with piercing depth was established. The experimental results showed that the performance of the device was stable, and the piercing force curves of different strains and different ages were similar, showing a high-low-high trend, and were highly correlated with the layered characteristics of the bark structure. Under the same age, the piercing force of two strains of Reyan 7-33-97 and PR107 was not significantly different, and the piercing force of older trees of the same strain was greater than that of younger trees. The maximum piercing force reached 48.5 N. The test device meets the requirement of detecting structural mechanical parameters of rubber bark and provides theoretical basis for the research and development of mechanized rubber harvesting equipment.

天然橡胶是重要的国防战略物资和工业原料,广泛应用于国防、航空航天、医疗卫生、国计民生等领域。我国现有橡胶树种植面积约114.53万hm2,分布在广东、海南和云南,是热区胶农的主要经济来源[1]。采胶作业目前主要依赖人力,采胶成本占生产成本的70%以上。由于人工采胶技术要求高、劳动强度大、效率低等特点,加上国际橡胶价格多年来持续低迷,技术胶工大量流失、胶工老龄化严重,导致胶园大面积弃管弃割(据统计,2019年全国弃管面积达14.6万hm2,弃割面积达6.5万hm2)。我国年消费量约643万t,而年产量约83万t,自给率已不足13%,国防战略物资的安全供给已受到严重威胁[2-3]
生产的机械化、智能化、信息化是产业破解用工荒,有效降低人力成本,提高生产效益的有效手段。采胶是一项特殊的农作物收获方式,割皮时行刀深度和耗皮厚度需要根据树皮结构进行毫米级控制,以保证橡胶树产胶量及采胶年限,否则,割皮过深伤及树皮中的水囊皮层,将导致橡胶树死皮而无法持续产胶,割皮过浅不及黄皮层指定位置则减少胶水产量。橡胶树具有树干轮廓生长不规则、树皮厚度不均一的生物学特性,机械化采胶技术及装备经过近半个世纪的探索,已取得一定进展,但未能在生产上大面积推广应用[4-5]。因此,测定橡胶树皮结构力学特性、采胶深度精准探测和耗皮厚度精确控制是保证采胶作业质量的关键技术。
目前,橡胶树皮切割力学特性、树皮组织结构与切割力相关性等研究尚缺,但在甘蔗、构树、枣树等作物的收获装备研发中,已有众多成功案例。刘庆庭等[6]利用高速摄影对光刀片切削甘蔗茎秆的破坏进行了切削力试验研究,得到了影响切削力的主要因素。李宁等[7]通过分析剪切角度、刀型与剪切速度对枣树枝条剪切性能的影响规律,获得枝条剪切力学特性参数,为设计枣树枝条修剪、粉碎机械提供参考。李直等[8]研究了甘蔗纤维组分与力学性能的关系,发现植物纤维素与半纤维素含量对甘蔗力学性能具有积极作用,对不同部位处弹性模量影响明显。刘天宏等[9]通过对杂交构树不同部位的韧皮部和木质部进行剪切、压缩、弯曲、扭转和撕裂力学特性研究,发现其参数有显著差异,为杂交构树收割过程中的损伤问题及杂交构树收获机的研制提供参数依据。此外,方珏等[10]与米强等[11]通过对枣枝剪切特性研究,发现红枣枝条剪切强度、组织破坏应力与直径密切相关,对红枣枝条,枣枝密度、抗剪强度之间均呈多项式函数正相关,含水率与抗剪强度之间呈幂函数负相关。由此可见,结合植物生长特性,通过应用适宜的试验装备对木本植物进行切割力学性能试验研究可以很好地解析木本植物生物力学特性及其影响因素,为收获装备的研发提供基础依据。
天然橡胶由切割橡胶树皮而获得,本研究针对橡胶树皮结构特征,应用力学传感器,设计一款橡胶树皮非线性力学性能探测装置,可应用于不同工况下橡胶树皮力学特性采集与分析。采用该装置进行天然橡胶树皮结构力学特性研究试验,获取热研7-33-97及PR107两个品系、多个树龄的树皮切割力值及其变化规律,为采胶装备的设计提供农艺数据基础,助力机械采胶方法与采胶技术创新。
天然橡胶采胶部位是树干树皮,主要包括粗皮、沙皮外层、沙皮内层、黄皮和水囊皮5个层次,其中水囊皮层包括有功能次生韧皮部及形成层[12-18]。在割胶作业中,应控制合理深度,避免损伤到水囊皮,水囊皮的损伤将影响橡胶树的高产稳产。橡胶树树皮的厚度约7.0~14.0 mm[19],其中,有疏导功能韧皮部(即水囊皮)的厚度为0.2~1.0 mm,在我国常规割胶规定中,割胶深度是保留形成层外1.0~1.5 mm的树皮不割,因此,机械割胶需要达到毫米级控制,才能确保割胶深度和防止伤树。天然橡胶采胶深度与树皮结构关系如图1所示。
安全的采胶深度由树皮结构分层特性明确具体位置,树皮结构分层特性基于其内含有乳管、石细胞、筛管等组织的数量[20],有清晰的软硬度之分,所以树皮结构的不同层次有不同的切割特性。通过探测切割力变化大小,分辨树皮分层情况,从而判断采胶深度。此外,树皮切割力特性直接影响采胶装备的切割机构设计、动力设计,是装备研发的关键设计因素。
基于机械设计原理,应用SolidWorks三维设计软件进行装备的数字建模与结构设计[21],效果图如图2所示。该探测装置主要由装有力学传感器的探测器、控制器、固定架三部分组成。探测器主要由探针、快速夹头、联轴器、力学传感器、驱动电机、直线模组、连杆、夹紧座、固定板、加强板等零部件组成,探针通过快速夹头连接于力学传感器的输出端,力学传感器固定端通过联轴器连接于直线模组的输出轴。联轴器设为刚性,以保证刺针与直线模组运动方向在同一直线上,提高测试精度;快速夹头可以适应不同直径刺针的快速装夹应用;直线模组固定于固定板上,固定板通过连杆与夹紧座相连,并夹紧式地固定在固定装置上,连杆穿过固定装置的滑槽,可在滑槽里顺畅滑动,方便装置对不同树皮位置的刺入力探测试验操作。力学传感器可为应变式力学传感器,在外力作用下,传感器内置的弹性体会发生弹性变形,使其表面粘贴的电阻应变计(转换元件)也会随着变形,应变计电阻的响应变化,再通过响应的测量电路将电阻变化转换成电信号(电流或者电压),从而实现将外力转换成电信号进行采集的过程[22],传感器侧面置有输出数据线,另一端接入控制器。控制器内设有PLC控制模块、数据采集卡、人机界面(human machine interaction,HMI)、高速采样智能仪表、电源等;通过系统编程与连线,实现PLC对探测器直线模组的运动控制及采集卡对力学传感器的数据采集与传输。固定架由上下对称的环形轨道、多组万向螺丝夹头、支撑杆组成。测量时,将环形轨道环抱于树干上,通过万向螺丝夹头组顶紧树面进行装备的固定,调整夹头的伸出长度使环形轨道中心与树干中心重合,万向螺丝夹头可适应树干表面凹凸不平的特点,加强安装稳固性。环形轨道上设有U形孔,使探测器可在轨道上绕树周定向精确移动,完成树干周向多点力学试验。支撑螺杆将两组环形轨道连接,使装备结构更稳定,避免设备自身振动、滑移等因素影响测量结果的准确性。
PLC具有功能丰富、可靠性高,能数据处理、数据通信、自动化控制等功能[23]。基于橡胶树皮从外向里的分层生物生长特征,本研究设计基于PLC的橡胶树皮非线性力学性能探测装置,采用针刺方式使刺针以一定速度(v)依次穿透各树皮层,结合精密力学传感器及其数据采集技术、PLC控制技术,实现刺针穿透各树皮层过程其阻力值(F)随时间(t)、位移(x)变化特性的提取和分析,从而达到树皮各分层结构力学特性探测的目的,为自动化采胶装备获取水囊皮层位置、树皮厚度及采胶深度精准控制提供基础支撑。针刺树皮模型如图3所示,其中,H=v×t,式中,H为树皮厚度(mm);v为刺针速度(mm/s);t为工作时间(s)。
工作原理:当设备启动后,PLC控制直线驱动器启动,将探测针以设定速度匀速推出并刺入到树皮中,力学传感器受树皮阻力产生形变,电压发生变化,力学高速采样仪表采集到电压变化数据并传输给PLC以及USB数据采集设备,PLC根据压力变化值确定继续刺入或者退针,数据采集卡则将采集到的压力变化值传输给PC机,PC机数据分析软件记录数据。可通过移动探测器完成周向不同位置的树皮探测试验。
该测试装置的控制系统主要由控制箱、电源开关、启动按钮、数据输出端口、PLC控制器、HMI触摸屏、高速采样仪表、USB数据采集卡、电源等组成。其中,高速采样仪表型号为Y-300C,是针对测力应用开发的一款高速采样智能仪表,采用TFT真彩液晶屏显示,具有数字滤波、自动零位跟踪功能,将刺入力值可视化,实验员可以实时观测到力值的变化情况;配置S型拉压力传感器,传感器量程为50 N,输出灵敏度为2.0±10% mV/V,重复性0.1% F.S,安全过载120% F.S;采用NI-6002数据采集卡进行数据获取与分析,其支持4通道差分输入或8通道单段输入,逐次逼近型ADC模拟采集分辨率为16位,最大采样率为50 kS/s,数据采集卡与高速采样仪表数据输出端口连接,可将传感器受到的刺入力进行连续采集并通过数据端口输出,将电脑连接数据输出端口即可观测及记录刺入力的变化波形图;通过HMI触摸屏可设置电机的速度、行进位移等参数,通过PLC控制直线模组的运动(图4)。
控制系统设计要求可根据实时刺入力大小或刺入深度变化情况自主完成刺针的推入或退回操作,并记录预设压力到达时的探测最大深度及电机实时运行位。主程序控制流程如图5所示,系统启动后,先进行各功能模块的初始化,检查直线电机轴驱动是否正常,以保障探测精度。原点复位后开启探测,依据采集到的压力值是否到达以及设定的最大位移值实施刺入轴的伸出和收回:到达预设压力值时退回刺针,否则继续执行刺入操作。
刺入力探测装置设计的PLC控制回路实现与HMI通讯、测力仪表控制、行动元驱动控制等功能,其操作系统界面主要包括运行监控界面、参数设定与控制界面、操作说明界面,设备通电即进入运行监控界面(图6)。
在控制器的触摸屏上,可以调节设定直线驱动器的运动速度、最大位移、到位延时时间等参数,可以适应不同树龄、树皮厚度的试验条件需求,也可以实时看到探测的树皮深度值,以及达到设定的阻力值时探针最终达到的最大深度值,进而使操作者轻松获取树皮厚度及切割力数据。
研制基于PLC的橡胶树皮非线性力学性能探测装置,在热研7-33-97及PR107两个品系15龄、20龄、25龄3组不同树龄橡胶树上进行树皮刺入力测试试验。供试橡胶树取自海南省海口市,选取无病害和损伤的原生皮树干作为试验对象,测试部位高度为离地1.2 m。以刺入力作为性能指标,品系和树龄作为影响因子,设置两因素和三水平,进行2×3试验(表1),共6个组合,每组5个重复,测试及采集每组树干树皮刺入力情况。
图7所示,将装置环形轨道环抱于指定位置的树干上,并逐步拧紧各万向螺丝夹头顶住树干表面,使装备水平X向与树干纵向Z垂直,且其环轨中心尽量与树干中心对齐,保证探针垂直刺入树干树皮中。试验中,选取探测针直径1.0 mm,刺入速度设置恒定为3 mm/s,系统设定输入电压范围为±10 V,刺入力与电压变化成线性关系,计算公式为:
式中,F为刺入力(N);F量程为传感器量程50 N;U1为最大输入电压10 V;U2为当前输出电压(V)。
试验后力学性能探测装置将以一定频率自动采集刺入力的数值,并以波形图及Excel表格形式输出。
树皮的力学特性试验每组设置5个重复,利用National Instruments USB-6002型数据采集器系统NIDAQExpress软件进行数据采集与分析[24],利用Excel软件对试验数据进行整理和预处理,利用Origin软件对试验数据进行多项式拟合[25]
采用测量装置对热研7-33-97和PR107的橡胶树原生皮进行试验数据采集,结果显示,该装置的工作性能稳定,数据采集顺畅,每组波形的形态相似,探测器刺入树皮过程的力学传感器模拟量输入电压值随时间的变化曲线均呈升-降-升的态势,体现出刺入力的变化与树皮结构特性高度相关(图8)。
在采胶装备的动力设计过程中,切割树皮所需的切割力大小是设计的关键参数,为探明刺针刺入树皮所需的外力,提取所有测试组在开始刺入外层粗皮时产生的最大峰值及刺入黄皮后产生的最小值进行数据分析,通过刺入力与电压的线性关系公式可算出刺入力值,刺入力值采集结果如表2所示。结果显示,在热研7-33-97原生皮试验中,15龄、20龄、25龄的最大刺入力均值分别为35.2、38.9、42.5 N;在PR107原生皮试验中,15龄、20龄、25龄的最大刺入力均值分别为35.9、38.8、46.5 N。表明大树龄的刺入力比小树龄大,刺入力峰值可达48.5 N,波谷值为14.0 N;相同树龄下,2个品系的树皮刺入力无明显差别。
为进一步分析橡胶树皮结构力学特性,选取其中一组数据采集结果的波形进行数据分析,如图9所示,在探针刺入树皮过程中,刺针从接触到树皮外表层起,刺入力开始增大(a点),电压增大,穿透树皮外层时刺入阻力达到最大值(b点),刺穿后进入砂皮内层及黄皮层,由于其石细胞较少,乳管逐渐增多,硬度逐渐降低,刺入阻力逐渐变小,电压减小,当到达水囊皮层后,无石细胞,阻力达到最低点(c点),而后接触木质部时迅速增大(d点)。结果验证了树皮各层结构中,从外向里石细胞逐渐减少使其硬度逐渐降低,切割阻力逐渐减少的特征,进而推断出波形图中各点对应的树皮层位置以及树皮厚度。如图9中,刺针接触外皮层时的a点坐标为(1.232,0.014);穿透树皮外层时的b点坐标为(2.296,8.672);刺到水囊皮层时c点坐标为(4.048,2.905);最大刺入力为43.36 N,由于刺针为匀速运动,则树皮厚度为8.448 mm。
测试装置刺针的刺入速度设定为匀速,因此,由实测所得的刺入力随时间变化曲线即可得出刺入力随刺入深度的变化曲线,进一步推导出刺入力随刺入深度变化的函数关系式。在DAQExpress系统中,将刺针穿透树皮过程所采集到的数据进行捕捉(即图9所示的a~d点数据),并进行交互性分析,实现曲线多项式拟合。选取最小二乘法及SVD求解算法进行最佳多项式拟合,建立树皮刺入过程模拟量数值(Y)随时间(X)变化的数学关系模型,即:Y刺入=-0.349+28.5X-34.5X2+ 19.7X3- 5.96X4+0.743X5,残差为0.069。
为进一步分析树皮刺入过程的力学变化规律,将DAQExpress捕捉的数据导出并进行换算后作为原始数据导入至Origin系统中,进行刺入力与刺入深度关系多项式拟合,获得函数关系式,并通过拟合系数的大小来判断曲线吻合度。拟合结果表明,阶数为5时,R2为0.98,接近1,预测值对试验值的拟合程度最佳,为最佳拟合模型,即获得的刺入力与刺入深度关系式为:y=intercept+ B1x+B2x2+B3x3+B4x4+B5x5,式中,因变量y为刺入力(N);自变量x为刺入深度(mm);intercept为截距,其值为-1.72293±0.03803;B1~B5为回归系数,依次为47.63916±0.07773、-19.19303±0.04872、3.65281±0.01250、-0.36809±0.00139、0.0153±5.60942E-5;残差平方和(SSE)为68186.52575,R2为0.98497。拟合结果如图10所示。
本研究根据橡胶树皮结构生长特性,提出基于PLC控制技术,结合力学传感器监测、模拟量数据采集方法,研制橡胶树皮非线性力学性能探测装置,可实现不同工况下橡胶树皮刺入过程力学特性的自动化连续探测和数据采集、记录和分析,以及树皮厚度的在线高精低损测量。与常规树皮制样力学性能试验技术相比,该装置采用树皮树干上在线自动化检测的方式减少了样品采样、制样、运输、预处理等繁琐过程,降低外界干扰,检测结果更精密,对树的伤害更小;橡胶树胶乳产自树皮,不同皮层的乳管数量不同,出胶量不同,采胶技术则以树皮层中的水囊皮层为边界确认其采胶深度,因此,在橡胶树皮厚度方向上以刺入方式采集橡胶树皮各皮层的力学性质,探索橡胶树皮非线性结构力学特性,更贴近采胶机艺融合的研究要求,采用该方法的橡胶树皮力学性质解释对自动化采胶装备与技术的研究更具有参考性。
通过应用研制的橡胶树皮非线性力学性能探测装置对热研7-33-97及PR107两个品系橡胶树进行探测试验,结果表明,橡胶树皮的刺入力大小与树皮组织结构分层特性息息相关,刺入力从开始刺入外皮到木质部过程的力学变化均呈升-降-升的规律变化,升降的斜率及幅度也接近。由于橡胶树树皮是由粗皮层、砂皮层、黄皮层、水囊皮层、形成层组成,笔者初步判断,各皮层的刺入力大小及变化过程存在一定规律。若结合试验研究及大数据分析,探究其规律模型,用于研发更为智能的手持式或全自动采胶机,可实现农艺与农机的深度融合,有望突破机械采胶零损伤,达到既避免伤树,又获得理想产量的目的。尤其是针刺式等微创短线割胶的装备研究,对割线式采胶机的研发亦可提供参考。
