To deeply investigate dynamic and static mechanical properties of non-pneumatic tires under the condition of unstructured road,double-arrow cellular structure (DACS) with negative Poisson's ratio (NPR) with excellent mechanical properties is embedded into non-pneumatic tires as a novel support structure and double-arrow non-pneumatic tire (DANT) is selected as research object herein. Firstly,finite element models (FEM) of DACS with various gradient densities are developed,and quasi-static compression tests are conducted on DACS samples to verify the accuracy of FEM. Then,FEMs of DANT are established to obtain effect of layer number of double-arrow support structure on static properties of DANT,and influence of structural parameters of support structure on modal and ground properties of DANT are investigated. Finally,dynamic mechanical properties of DANT on unstructured road surfaces are investigated,including steady-state rolling,obstacle traversing,ditch crossing,and soil contact. The results show that the rolling resistance of DANT increases from 11.51 to 241.66 N with increment of radial load from 1 000 to 5 000 N. Meanwhile,a partial detachment of tread and ground come up with the increase of water velocity,and the stress distribution of support structure and the magnitude of contact stresses can be affected by the height and width of the obstacles. The spread and plastic deformation of soil occurs from contact location as soil is subjected to forces of DANT.

为深入探究非充气轮胎在非结构化道路下的动静态力学性能,本文将具备优异力学性能的双箭头负泊松比微结构作为新型支撑体填充于非充气轮胎中,并将双箭头非充气轮胎作为研究对象。首先,建立了不同梯度双箭头支撑体结构的有限元模型,并对样件开展准静态压缩试验,以验证有限元仿真的准确性。其次,建立双箭头非充气轮胎有限元模型,获取了双箭头支撑体层数对非充气轮胎静力学性能的影响,并探究了支撑体结构参数对非充气轮胎模态和接地性能的影响。最后,研究了双箭头非充气轮胎在稳态滚动、越障、跨越沟渠、土壤接触等非结构化路面的动态力学性能。结果表明:随着径向载荷由1 000提升至5 000 N,非充气轮胎的滚动阻力由11.51提升至241.66 N;同时,水流速度的增大使得胎面与地面出现部分脱落,障碍物的高度和宽度影响支撑体的应力分布和接触应力的大小;土壤在承受双箭头非充气轮胎的作用力后,土壤从接触位置向四周开始扩散并发生塑性形变。

为深入探究非充气轮胎在非结构化道路下的动静态力学性能,本文将具备优异力学性能的双箭头负泊松比微结构作为新型支撑体填充于非充气轮胎中,并将双箭头非充气轮胎作为研究对象。首先,建立了不同梯度双箭头支撑体结构的有限元模型,并对样件开展准静态压缩试验,以验证有限元仿真的准确性。其次,建立双箭头非充气轮胎有限元模型,获取了双箭头支撑体层数对非充气轮胎静力学性能的影响,并探究了支撑体结构参数对非充气轮胎模态和接地性能的影响。最后,研究了双箭头非充气轮胎在稳态滚动、越障、跨越沟渠、土壤接触等非结构化路面的动态力学性能。结果表明:随着径向载荷由1 000提升至5 000 N,非充气轮胎的滚动阻力由11.51提升至241.66 N;同时,水流速度的增大使得胎面与地面出现部分脱落,障碍物的高度和宽度影响支撑体的应力分布和接触应力的大小;土壤在承受双箭头非充气轮胎的作用力后,土壤从接触位置向四周开始扩散并发生塑性形变。

To deeply investigate dynamic and static mechanical properties of non-pneumatic tires under the condition of unstructured road,double-arrow cellular structure (DACS) with negative Poisson's ratio (NPR) with excellent mechanical properties is embedded into non-pneumatic tires as a novel support structure and double-arrow non-pneumatic tire (DANT) is selected as research object herein. Firstly,finite element models (FEM) of DACS with various gradient densities are developed,and quasi-static compression tests are conducted on DACS samples to verify the accuracy of FEM. Then,FEMs of DANT are established to obtain effect of layer number of double-arrow support structure on static properties of DANT,and influence of structural parameters of support structure on modal and ground properties of DANT are investigated. Finally,dynamic mechanical properties of DANT on unstructured road surfaces are investigated,including steady-state rolling,obstacle traversing,ditch crossing,and soil contact. The results show that the rolling resistance of DANT increases from 11.51 to 241.66 N with increment of radial load from 1 000 to 5 000 N. Meanwhile,a partial detachment of tread and ground come up with the increase of water velocity,and the stress distribution of support structure and the magnitude of contact stresses can be affected by the height and width of the obstacles. The spread and plastic deformation of soil occurs from contact location as soil is subjected to forces of DANT.

非充气轮胎因其具备免充气、防刺破、耐磨、低滚阻等优点受到广泛关注[1]。支撑体结构能够为非充气轮胎提供支撑,并利用其结构形变来减缓车轮所受的冲击[2]。Wu等[3]设计了一种具有负泊松比特性的梯度反四手性结构的非充气轮胎,该轮胎具备良好的承载性能。王陶等[4]对内凹六边形负泊松比非充气轮胎的支撑体结构开展了优化设计,有效提升了非充气轮胎的行驶承载性和侧向稳定性。以上研究表明负泊松比微结构的优异特性与非充气轮胎支撑体结构的功能需求相契合。
双箭头负泊松比微结构(double-arrow cellular structure with negative Poisson's ratio,DACS with NPR)具有三维结构且拓扑结构规则可控制[5]。DACS是由三角形蜂窝结构拓扑优化演变而成,相较于其他构型的负泊松比微结构,DACS具有更均匀的应力分布,局部应力集中较弱,使得DACS在压缩负荷下表现出更高的稳定性和承载能力;同时,DACS在压缩过程中呈现出更明显的负泊松比效应、更大的吸能行程、更加可观的吸能特性以及更高的可设计性,能够更好地满足非充气轮胎的性能需求[6-7]
目前针对非充气轮胎的研究主要面向于结构化路面。赵颖等[8]将结构化路面简化为平面shell单元,探究了非充气轮胎的结构参数对其三向刚度的影响。卢荡等[9]利用刚性平面,分析了TWEEL轮胎的接地压力及均布特性。然而,在非充气轮胎实际应用场景中,非结构化路面场景较为常见。Zang等[10]研究了菱形非充气轮胎在水平路面和复杂路面的力学特性差异,实现了在复杂路面下非充气轮胎垂向位移与接触压力的解耦。Zhao等[11]采用显示动力学有限元分析方法,研究了机械弹性非充气轮胎跨越沟渠的瞬态力学特性,获取了其等效应力和接触应力。然而,对于复杂地形等非结构化路面,非充气轮胎的力学性能还有待深入研究。
为此,本文提出了一种以DACS为支撑体的非充气轮胎。首先,对DACS开展参数化设计,实现梯度密度分布,并对3组不同密度梯度的DACS样件开展了准静态压缩试验;其次,将梯度DACS作为支撑体结构,建立双箭头非充气轮胎(double-arrow non-pneumatic tires,DANT)模型;再次,获取支撑体层数对DANT静态力学性能的影响,探究了结构参数对其模态和接地性能的影响。最后,针对湿滑路面、障碍物、松软土壤等非结构化路面,利用有限元方法分析其动态力学响应。
DACS结构参数如图1所示。元胞长胞壁的长度为 l,长胞壁和短胞壁与对称轴之间的夹角分别为 θ 1 θ 2 t 1 t 2分别代表长胞壁和短胞壁宽度, d表示水平胞壁长度,元胞面外厚度为 b
为提高DANT承载力的均匀性,将DACS进行梯度化处理。如图2所示,通过引入角度梯度因子 q θ和长度梯度因子 q l改变元胞在 Y轴方向上的胞壁长度和夹角,实现DACS的梯度设计。其中, q θ q l分别表示为

式中 i i + 1分别代表梯度方向上的第 i层和第 i + 1层。
为验证所建立梯度DACS有限元模型的准确性,分别建立梯度为 q l = 1 q θ = 1 q l = 1.04 q θ = 1.04 q l = 1.08 q θ = 1.08的3个6×6排列的有限元仿真模型。网格尺寸设置为 0.8 mm,建立底部与顶部刚性墙,将有限元模型底部的自由度完全固定,顶部刚性墙以2 mm/min的速度向下压缩梯度DACS,梯度DACS基体材料采用C-UV9400E树脂[12],其密度为1.14 g·cm-3,弹性模量为2.138 GPa,泊松比为 0.41,屈服强度为56.4 MPa。同时,利用3D打印技术制作3组与有限元模型相同尺寸、相同基体材料的梯度DACS样件,如图3所示。对3组样件开展准静态压缩试验,其中样件底部被下压盘完全固定,上压盘以2 mm/min的速度向下移动。
获取了3组梯度DACS在试验与有限元仿真下的应力-应变曲线,如图4所示。每组DACS在试验与有限元仿真条件下的应力-应变曲线总体趋于一致,梯度DACS在压缩过程中呈现明显的弹性区、平台应力区、平台应力增强区,具有优异的吸能特性,可以作为支撑体结构被应用于非充气轮胎。
图5所示,梯度DANT分为胎面、支撑体和轮辋3部分,其整体尺寸参考标准充气轮胎175/70 R14[13]。其中,胎面、支撑体、轮辋的网格大小分别为5、2.5和10 mm,胎面和支撑体的网格类型为C3D8HR,轮辋的网格类型为C3D8,整个模型共有547 424个六面体单元。
轮辋简化为环形线弹性结构,材料为铝合金,密度为2.7×103 kg/m3,弹性模量为7.2×104 MPa,泊松比为0.33。胎面简化为环形橡胶,忽略胎肩、胎冠花纹等次要因素,建立了4种胎面花纹,其有限元模型如图6所示。
支撑体和胎面结构的基体材料主要由聚氨酯和橡胶材料组成,均为具有黏弹性行为的超弹性材料[14]。聚氨酯和橡胶本构参数如表1所示[15]
非充气轮胎基体材料还存在黏弹性行为,主要影响轮胎的滚动阻力。聚氨酯和橡胶的黏弹性常数如表2所示[16]
为进一步探究支撑体结构层数对DANT静态力学性能的影响,如图7所示,采用Abaqus有限元软件获得了径向载荷下具备不同支撑体层数DANT的应力云图和接地应力分布云图。当支撑体结构为2层时,支撑体承受的最大应力为5.08 MPa、胎面与地面的接触应力为0.45 MPa。此时支撑体的元胞壁过长,元胞壁受力后产生了较大的形变,DANT与地面的接触面积也随之变大。随着支撑体层数增加至5层,支撑体结构的元胞壁长度减小,其相对密度增大,支撑体的形变量减小,使得支撑体的最大应力降低为1.91 MPa。然而,支撑体层数的增加引起轮胎与地面的接触面积减小,轮胎与地面的接触应力增大为0.672 MPa。
此外,表3展示了不同支撑体层数下DANT的性能指标对比。
支撑体层数增大导致支撑体结构承载时的形变减小,与之对应的轮胎下沉量也减小;同时,DANT承受额定载荷时,径向刚度随支撑体层数的增加而增大;最后,随着支撑体层数的增加,支撑体结构之间空隙减小,DANT的整体相对密度及质量也随之增加。
支撑体层数越多,结构强度及耐用性越高,DANT抵抗冲击和承载能力也越好。然而,由于加工工艺的限制,支撑体层数越多,加工难度越大。综合考虑DANT的承载性、耐用性和成本等因素,本文选择具有4层支撑体结构的DANT作为研究对象。
为探究DANT约束模态的影响因素,建立了DANT模态分析有限元模型,其中支撑体的拓扑参数如表4所示。
轮辋通过Coupling约束与中心点耦合,并约束轮辋中心6个自由度。轮辋外圈与支撑体内圈、支撑体外圈与胎面内圈均采用Tie绑定约束。随后,获取了DANT前10阶模态频率,如表5所示。其中,DANT的1阶模态频率满足常规轮胎10~60 Hz的设计要求[17]
为探究支撑体结构周向单胞数量、胞壁厚度和梯度因子对DANT固有频率的影响,将支撑体的周向单胞数量 C n u m b e r分别设置为20、25、30和35,并获取了不同支撑体数量下DANT的固有频率,如图8所示。DANT的固有频率随着支撑体周向单胞数量的增加而增加。
t 1 t 2宽度之比为1.2,分别设置 t 2为2.0、2.5、3.0和3.5 mm,并获取了不同胞壁厚度下DANT的固有频率,如图9所示。DANT固有频率随支撑体胞壁厚度的增加而增大。
最后,选取 q θ为1.00、1.03、1.06和1.09, q l为1.00、1.02、1.04和1.06,获取了4组不同梯度因子下DANT的固有频率,如图10所示。梯度因子的变化对DANT的固有频率影响较小。
建立了DANT的接地有限元模型,如图11所示。支撑体与轮辋和胎面之间的接触面使用绑定接触,约束轮辋中心点除 Y轴位移自由度的其他5个自由度,施加沿 Y轴负方向5 000 N的集中力载荷 M,刚性地面的自由度全约束。
基于此,获得了不同周向单胞数量下支撑体的应力分布和下沉量,如图12所示。当支撑体周向单胞数量为16时,支撑体最大应力和下沉量分别为2.497 MPa和11.89 mm。当周向单胞数量增加到32时,支撑体最大应力和下沉量分别为1.835 MPa和5.56 mm,支撑体最大应力和下沉量随周向单胞数量的增大而减小。
同时,获得了不同支撑体短元胞壁厚度下DANT的接地性能,如图13所示。支撑体结构的最大应力发生在支撑体短元胞壁上。随着胞壁厚度由2.0增加至4.0 mm,支撑体最大应力和下沉量由5.69 MPa和21.83 mm下降到1.725 MPa和6.13 mm。短元胞壁厚度的增加,使得支撑体的最大应力和下沉量大幅降低。
为探究不同径向载荷下DANT稳态滚动时所产生的阻力,建立了如图14所示的DANT稳态滚动模型。
基于DANT稳态滚动模型,获得了不同垂向载荷下DANT的滚动阻力变化曲线,如图15所示。随着径向载荷由1 000提升至5 000 N,DANT的滚动阻力由11.51提升至241.66 N。由于径向载荷的增大,支撑体结构的形变也变大,DANT的黏弹性材料因蠕变效应而耗散的能量更多,滚动阻力也随之升高。
为探究水坑、泥泞等潮湿路面下DANT的滑水性能,采用耦合欧拉-拉格朗日方法来捕捉DANT的滑水现象,建立了DANT流固耦合模型,如图16所示。
按照如图17所示的划水模型加载曲线进行加载,同时,在欧拉域施加沿 Y轴负方向的重力加速度,大小为9.8 m/s2
继而选择复杂花纹1作为胎面花纹类型,获取了DANT滚入厚度为10 mm水膜时的滑水印迹,如图18所示。当水流速度为5 m/s时,水流与DANT开始接触,水流逐渐进入轮胎的花纹。随着水流速度增加至10 m/s,更多的水流被挤压于胎面沟槽中,并不断由花纹沟槽向外排出。当水流速度继续加速到20 m/s,过高的水流速度导致水流无法及时地排出,水膜使得DANT与地面的接触存在部分脱离。
此外,为探究胎面花纹类型与滑水性能之间的关系,获得了不同胎面花纹DANT的滑水印迹,如图19所示。
当水流速度为10 m/s时,水流受到阻碍后呈现出一种沿接触区前端挤入花纹沟槽的行为,并沿着胎面的花纹沟槽被排出。在轮胎接触区前端,水流受到胎面挤压而产生飞溅效应。随着水流速度增加到20 m/s,由于条形花纹胎面存在4条纵向沟槽,水膜也对应呈现4条水流。复杂花纹2的设计包含了横向和纵向的花纹沟槽,导致水膜出现了分隔的情况。人字花纹的胎面与路面的接触区域较小,水流通过花纹沟槽的区域更大,水流印迹也呈现人字状。
为探究DANT越过障碍时的力学特性,研究了侧面接触(位置1)与顶部接触(位置2)下DANT的力学特性,如图20所示。
选择距离DANT中心线250 mm的胎面中心印迹为接触应力的提取路径,如图21所示,将横向位移等于0的位置定义为接触印迹中心。
基于此,获得了额定载荷下不同障碍物高度作用后DANT的应力云图,如图22所示。当障碍物高度较低时,支撑体靠近路面与靠近障碍物部分的应力分布较为接近。当障碍物高度较高时,由于地面承受了主要的径向载荷,支撑体承受的应力分成明显的两个区域,且靠近地面区域的应力大于靠近障碍物的区域应力。
同时,获得位置1侧面接触时不同径向载荷下胎面中心位置的接触应力曲线,如图23所示。当处于同一径向载荷时,远离障碍物一侧的接触应力几乎不受障碍物高度的影响,即横向位移小于零的胎面承受相同的径向载荷,其接触应力基本保持不变。对于横向位移大于零时的接触应力曲线,接触应力曲线的最高点出现在胎面与障碍物接触位置。高度更高的障碍物导致接触应力最高点更远离接触印迹中心。随着径向载荷的增加,上述接触应力曲线的趋势仍然符合,且接触应力随径向载荷的增加而增大。
当DANT与障碍物以位置2顶部接触时,胎面在障碍物的两侧弯曲变形,其应力云图如图24所示。随着障碍物宽度的增加,支撑体的最大应力从8.957降低到3.373 MPa,支撑体最大应力随障碍物宽度的增加而降低。随着障碍物宽度的增加,使得DANT与障碍物接触时的面积更大,从而导致支撑体的应力和形变都减小。
DANT在顶部接触下胎面中心线路径的接触应力曲线,如图25所示。接触应力曲线整体呈现出关于横向位移为零位置的近似对称分布,最大应力出现在与障碍物接触的两侧,两侧较小的波峰是由胎面弯曲变形引起。当处于同一径向载荷时,随着障碍物宽度的增大,DANT与障碍物的接触面积增大,最大压力位置发生偏移,胎面向障碍物两侧弯曲现象得到改善。其中,障碍物宽度为100和150 mm时,接触应力曲线几乎完全重合,这是由于障碍物有足够的宽度支撑DANT,近似于胎面与平坦路面接触,此时障碍物的宽度变化对胎面的弯曲变形不产生作用。
采用有限元法模拟DANT与土壤的相互作用,并采用修正的Drucker-Prager/cap模型来描述土壤行为。土壤材料参数通过三轴试验和静水固结试验获得,如表6所示[18]。土壤的硬化模型如表7所示[19]
建立了DANT与土壤相互作用的仿真模型,如图26所示。土壤模型的形变主要发生在与DANT接触的上部,为保证有限元解的收敛性和降低计算复杂度,土壤模型从上往下变密度划分网格,使得土壤模型的上部网格更密集,单元类型为C3D8R线性缩减积分单元,单元数量为90 000个。对土壤模型侧面和底面的所有自由度进行约束,保证模型在受到DANT压缩时不会发生整体变形。
采用Surf-to-surf contact接触算法定义DANT与土壤表面的相互作用,采用Penalty定义摩擦因数为0.65的切向行为,法向行为定义为“硬”接触,以避免相邻组件之间的相互穿透,DANT与土壤之间的摩擦特性符合库伦摩擦理论。在第一分析步中,将集中力载荷施加在轮辋中心上以使DANT变形,此时约束DANT的 X轴和 Z轴方向的位移与整体的转动。在第二分析步中,在轮辋中心施加稳定的角速度,释放上一个分析步中DANT的 X轴的位移和 Z轴的转动,由于胎面和土壤之间存在摩擦力,DANT随着轮辋中心从左向右移动而顺时针旋转滚动。此外,在整个过程中,DANT与地面都承受自身的重力。
图27展示DANT的应力分布与土壤的变形情况。如图27(a)所示,应力主要集中于支撑体底端,顶部的支撑体结构几乎不承受应力。如图27(b)所示,土壤发生形变的最大位置在胎面与土壤的接触中心,其最大值为14.99 mm。土壤承受轮胎的作用力后被压实,土壤应力从接触位置向四周开始扩散,如图27(c)所示,土壤分布的最大应力为0.275 MPa。
第二个分析步滚动加载结束时土壤的应力分布与形变如图28(a)所示。土壤应力从接触位置向四周发散,最大应力为0.315 MPa,且位于DANT与土壤接触位置。如图28(b)所示,土壤在轮胎滚动过程中被压实,滚动轨迹上的土壤下沉,在DANT与土壤接触的前方土壤受到挤压变得隆起,土壤模型发生的最大形变为8.653 mm。
以DANT与土壤接触中心为坐标原点,获得不同载荷下胎面与土壤的接地应力,如图29所示。当径向载荷为5 000 N时,DANT与土壤的最大接地应力为0.568 MPa;当径向载荷增加到8 000 N时,最大接地应力也增大到0.834 MPa。从接地宽度方向上观察,接地应力呈现中间低两边高的“马鞍”状,土壤压缩形变后在DANT侧面边缘形成应力集中,导致DANT两侧边缘的接触应力大于胎面中心。从行驶方向上看,接地应力近似为“波浪”形,这是由于支撑体结构与胎面的连接位置应力更大。同时,DANT与土壤的接地面积也随径向载荷的增加而变大,这是由于径向载荷的增加使得整个DANT的形变更加剧烈,接触面积也相应变大。
对DANT在非结构路面下开展了力学性能探究,获得了以下结论。
(1)验证了不同梯度下DACS有限元模型的准确性。DANT的固有频率随支撑体数量和胞壁厚度的增加而增大。DANT最大应力和下沉量随支撑体数量和胞壁厚度的增加而减小。
(2)DANT的滚动阻力随径向载荷的增大而升高。同时,当水流速度加速到20 m/s时,DANT中的水流无法及时排出,导致DANT与地面的接触存在部分脱离,且滑水印迹会根据胎面花纹形成对应的形状。
(3)障碍物的高度会影响DANT的应力分布,支撑体最大应力随障碍物宽度的增加而降低;侧面接触的最大接触应力出现在胎面与障碍物接触位置,顶部接触的最大接触应力出现在与障碍物接触的两侧。
(4)土壤应力从接触位置向四周扩散,并发生塑性形变。当径向载荷为5 000和8 000 N时,DANT与土壤的最大接地应力分别为0.568和0.834 MPa,接地应力的分布分别为“马鞍”状和“波浪”状。
