To improve the fuel economy of vehicles,simulation and experiments are combined to improve the aerodynamic drag coefficient during driving,taking a certain SUV model as the research object. Firstly,wind tunnel tests are used to determine the areas or components that have significant impact on the overall aerodynamic drag of the vehicle. Secondly,optimizations are made to the components or areas with high contribution values to the air resistance coefficient. The results show that the front wheel deflectors,taillights and spoilers contribute greatly to the overall air resistance coefficient of the vehicle. The restyling of the front wheel deflectors effectively reduces the frontal pressure area and interference drag from the wheels. Optimizations on taillights and spoilers improve the rear negative pressure zone and shorten the reattachment distance of separated flows on the upper part of the rear window. Based on the intrinsic orthogonal decomposition method for extracting and analyzing local flow field information,it can be concluded that the first and second order modals mainly constitute the key flow states in the wake. Compared to the initial scheme,a drag reduction rate of 7.5% can be achieved by the optimized combination design,which is verified by tests and simulations. Theoretical basis and technical support are provided in this paper for restyling and model change of the next generation of SUV.

为了提高整车燃油经济性,本文以某款SUV车型为研究对象,将仿真与试验相结合改善汽车行驶过程中的气动阻力系数。首先通过风洞试验确定对整车气动阻力有重要影响的区域或部件,其次对气动阻力系数贡献值较大的部件或区域进行减阻优化。结果表明,前轮阻风板、尾灯和尾翼对整车气动阻力系数贡献值较大。对前轮阻风板的改型,有效降低正压区面积以及减弱车轮干扰阻力;对尾灯和尾翼的优化设计,改善了尾部负压区,缩短了分离流在后窗上部的再附着的距离。基于本征正交分解方法进行局部流场信息的提取和分析可知,1阶与2阶模态主要构成了该SUV尾流场的关键流态。经试验与仿真验证,相比于初始方案,气动优化组合设计减阻率可达7.5%。本文为新一代SUV改型与升级换代提供了理论基础与技术支持。

为了提高整车燃油经济性,本文以某款SUV车型为研究对象,将仿真与试验相结合改善汽车行驶过程中的气动阻力系数。首先通过风洞试验确定对整车气动阻力有重要影响的区域或部件,其次对气动阻力系数贡献值较大的部件或区域进行减阻优化。结果表明,前轮阻风板、尾灯和尾翼对整车气动阻力系数贡献值较大。对前轮阻风板的改型,有效降低正压区面积以及减弱车轮干扰阻力;对尾灯和尾翼的优化设计,改善了尾部负压区,缩短了分离流在后窗上部的再附着的距离。基于本征正交分解方法进行局部流场信息的提取和分析可知,1阶与2阶模态主要构成了该SUV尾流场的关键流态。经试验与仿真验证,相比于初始方案,气动优化组合设计减阻率可达7.5%。本文为新一代SUV改型与升级换代提供了理论基础与技术支持。

To improve the fuel economy of vehicles,simulation and experiments are combined to improve the aerodynamic drag coefficient during driving,taking a certain SUV model as the research object. Firstly,wind tunnel tests are used to determine the areas or components that have significant impact on the overall aerodynamic drag of the vehicle. Secondly,optimizations are made to the components or areas with high contribution values to the air resistance coefficient. The results show that the front wheel deflectors,taillights and spoilers contribute greatly to the overall air resistance coefficient of the vehicle. The restyling of the front wheel deflectors effectively reduces the frontal pressure area and interference drag from the wheels. Optimizations on taillights and spoilers improve the rear negative pressure zone and shorten the reattachment distance of separated flows on the upper part of the rear window. Based on the intrinsic orthogonal decomposition method for extracting and analyzing local flow field information,it can be concluded that the first and second order modals mainly constitute the key flow states in the wake. Compared to the initial scheme,a drag reduction rate of 7.5% can be achieved by the optimized combination design,which is verified by tests and simulations. Theoretical basis and technical support are provided in this paper for restyling and model change of the next generation of SUV.

在全球碳排放日益增加、环境问题不断严重的背景下,节能减排成为了研究的热点问题。汽车在行进过程中会受到气流的阻力作用,尤其在高速状态下尤为明显。据相关试验测试数据可知,高速行驶工况下燃油车每降低10%的气动阻力系数,燃油消耗就可以降低约3.5%[1]。SUV在升级换代过程中,提高气动性能尤为重要。通过将先进的计算流体动力学技术与风洞试验相结合,可以对空气流动进行精确优化,以适应未来发展需求[2]
车辆减阻在国内外一直受到广泛关注,分为主、被动减阻两种类型。主动减阻需要外界能量的输入,例如在车尾布置主动射流[3],边界层分离点布置等离子体[4]等。被动减阻则有多种形式实现[5]。2017年,李彦龙等[6]基于仿生理论,对电动车造型进行了低阻车型设计。同年王靖宇等[7]对汽车外后视镜进行了阻力系数和升力系数的分析,并研究后视镜在不同来流速度下的振动特性。2018年,Harsh等[8]采用涡流发生器来降低SUV的气动阻力,实现10%的减阻效果。2019年Baek等[9]在考虑雷诺数对气动阻力系数影响的条件下,研究了不同位置连续吹风的整车减阻效果。2020年张勇等[10]以Ahmed类车体为对象,在风洞试验基础上对后背主要特征进行了数值模拟仿真研究。Huang等[11]揭示了单通道后扩散器对整车的减阻机理。王庆洋等[12]基于对10种独立的气动阻力附件的减阻效果的研究,获得了一种最佳的减阻方案。许建民等[13]研究了3种气动减阻装置对货车整车阻力系数的影响。Loução等[14]研究了DRS系统(drag reduction system)对整车的阻力系数、升力系数的影响。廉玉波等[15]对比亚迪汉EV低风阻形体进行了进一步气动阻力优化。2023年许建民等[16]基于形态仿生提出了货车的复合仿生减阻方案。
传统研究受经济性限制,或是采用类车体模型,或是基于单一试验或是仿真结果,本文基于实际SUV车型,结合大量试验与仿真结果进行对比分析,结果更具有可靠性。由于抑制或者延缓尾部气流分离,降低尾流负压区以及降低局部附件干扰是改善整车气动性能的关键,本文针对某SUV模型,通过初始试验获得具有大减阻潜力的区域或部件,对前轮减阻板、尾灯和尾翼进行优化,结合风洞试验验证减阻效果,并采用数值模拟的方式分析其减阻机理,提出SUV最终减阻设计优化方案。
试验在中国汽研汽车风洞中心进行。风洞测试段流场均匀性≤0.3%,压力梯度≤±0.001(1/m),湍流度<0.2%,气流偏角≤0.2°,压力脉动≤0.7%,边界层位移厚度<2 mm。
本次试验对象为某品牌SUV全尺寸油泥模型,如图1所示。正投影面积为3.018 m2,试验阻塞比约为10.78%,试验风速取120 km/h。试验阶段环境温度为25 ℃,大气压力为96.8 kPa,空气湿度约为78%,空气密度约为1.127 kg/m3。使用六分力天平测量车辆面对来流受到的阻力,并用阻力系数Cd表示。
首先通过分析初始模型确认具有潜在减阻效果的区域或部件,采用1∶1等比例油泥模型进行风洞试验,获取不同区域或部件对整车气动力系数的贡献值。试验设计部件示意图如图2所示。
由于不同部件对于整车阻力系数存在耦合作用,为了合理减小试验工作量,本节将研究各个部件去掉或修改前后的阻力系数变化情况,依次修改或拆除相关部件,并在120 km/h的风速下进行风洞试验,计算出气动阻力系数后通过对比阻力系数的差值得到每个部件、区域对于气动阻力的影响,具体方案如下。
方案1(图2中1号):基于初始模型拆除前轮阻风板,整车气动阻力系数增加12 counts,说明前轮阻风板具有一定整流减阻效果。
方案2(图2中2号):在初始模型基础上增加侧裙挡板,整车气动阻力系数基本不发生变化,表明该部件对整车气动阻力影响甚微。
方案3(图2中3号):修改后轮阻风板为平板平面阻风板,整车气动阻力系数降低2 counts,说明后轮挡风板对整车气动力影响作用较弱。
方案4(图2中4号):拆除尾翼,整车气动阻力系数降低15 counts,由此可见尾翼对整车气动阻力系数影响较大,需要进一步设计尾翼形状。
方案5(图2中5号):修改尾灯后缘形状,使其向上抬高,整车气动阻力系数降低8 counts,说明尾灯形状对整车气动阻力有一点影响。
根据以上单因素修改方案的数据得到各部件、区域的阻力系数贡献,如图3所示。该SUV车型油泥模型的前轮阻风板整车气动阻力系数贡献较大,能有效改善车底通过气流,降低车轮正压力。尾翼和尾灯形状也对整车气动阻力有比较显著的影响,能够改善车体尾流分布,减小尾部的能量损耗并改善尾部涡场,降低尾涡低压离散区,进而通过减小前后压差实现减阻。本文重新设计了前轮阻风板、尾翼和尾灯形状以降低整车气动阻力系数。
所研究几何模型为某SUV模型,以模型的高度来表示模型尺寸,即H=1.72 m,如图4所示。模型长度为L=3H,宽度W=1.31H。模型在宽度为18H、高度为6H的计算域中心位置,速度进口设在模型上游9H处,压力出口位于模型下游24H处,此时模型在计算域中的阻塞比为0.9%[17],满足计算阻塞比<5%的要求。针对所有方案,自由来流速度U=33.33 m/s,在下游边界采用恒定压力为0的压力出口,模型的表面和地面采用无滑移壁面,计算域的侧面和顶面采用对称壁面条件。
本文采用商用软件Star-CCM+来划分体网格,并设置3层加密域,在重点研究区域车体底部以及尾部单独设置加密区域,如图5所示。边界层网格选用棱柱层网格,共有5层,增长率为1.3,总厚度为8 mm,总网格量为5 717万。
由于对整车气动阻力的研究是在有限时间和空间意义上的平均估计,因此对湍流的求解采用雷诺时均方程方法(RANS)。由于SST k-ω湍流模型解决了湍流剪切应力的传输问题,且能对逆压梯度下流动分离进行高精度预测[18],因此采用SST k-ω湍流模型,对流通量为2阶迎风格式。
气动阻力Fd是气动载荷在x方向上的分量,相关气动阻力系数Cd定义[19]

式中:ρ是空气密度;A是模型正投影面积;Uinf是自由来流速度。
图6给出了数值模拟得出的初始风洞试验方案Cd值与试验值对比,多数工况误差小于5%,在项目允许范围内,变化趋势完全符合要求,保证了数值模拟的准确性。
前轮阻风板对整车气动阻力有着较为重要的影响。一方面阻风板可以降低车轮正对压力,提高轮腔内部的气流通过性,另一方面也要考虑阻风板本身的阻力,要降低其迎风区域的正压。
因此本文研究了阻风板表面形状以及弧度对气动阻力的减阻效果,改型了4种方案,如图7所示:(1)3D平面阻风板(平板正迎风面与侧缘采用圆角过渡);(2)增加阻风板外侧的作用面积,平板平面阻风板(将初始阻风板简化为面板);(3)3D弧面阻风板(将初始阻风板平面增加一个弧度即向轮胎内侧弯曲);(4)平板弧面阻风板(将平板平面阻风板增加向轮胎内侧弯曲的弧度)。试验结果(表1)显示3D平面阻风板减阻效果最好,整车阻力系数降低9 counts,平板平面阻风板和3D弧面阻风板的减阻效果相当,阻力系数降低了5 counts,平板弧面阻风板方案整车阻力系数降低了4 counts。
为进一步分析最优减阻方案-3D平面前轮阻风板的减阻机理,给出如图8所示的车身底部的迎风压力云图,这里压力指相对参考大气压的表压值,下同。从图中可以看出正面冲击前轮的气流减少,进而导致前轮正高压区作用面积减小,降低了整车压差阻力,整车气动阻力随之减小。
前轮阻风板形状的改变也会对附近区域流动结构产生重要影响,图9给出了优化前后阻风板周围流线分布。从图中可以看出,相较于初始方案,3D平面前轮阻风板能引导气流沿底盘下部流动,减少气流进入轮腔,来流气流与轮腔的相互作用减弱,进而降低局部干扰阻力。由此可以看出,该优化方案是通过降低整车压差阻力与局部干扰阻力来达到降低气动阻力的目的。
尾翼和尾灯形状的选取能影响气流与车身的分离状况,减小车体尾部能量损耗,在最优前轮阻风板设计基础上,通过对尾灯以及翼型尾部位置参数的修改得到以下3种优化方案:case1方案,在初始尾灯造型的基础上,将尾灯上表面整体向+X方向移动约0.015 m,向+Z方向移动约0.015 m;case2方案,在初始尾灯造型的基础上,将尾灯上表面整体向+X方向移动约0.013 m,向+Z方向移动约0.02 m;case3方案,在初始尾翼造型以及case2尾灯方案基础上,将尾翼末端向+X方向移动约0.125 m,向-Z方向移动约0.075 m。具体如图10所示。
表2比较了3种情况下的气动阻力系数以及它们的减阻率。通过改善尾灯形状,case1和case2分别降低气动阻力系数3.3%和3.7%,通过在case2尾灯的基础上改善尾翼的形状能降低气动阻力系数7.5%。
图11为车体尾部的时间平均静压云图,这里以表压展现,单位为Pa。在这4种情况下,压力的显著变化主要出现在后窗区域,与基础方案相比,3种优化方案均观察到一定的压力恢复。case1和case2主要在后窗下部和尾灯上部区域实现了显著的压力恢复,这是因为尾灯区域优化后拐角的出现,降低了该处气流的通过性,使得气流速度在一定情况下降低;case3不仅在后窗下部和尾灯上部区域出现明显的压力恢复,在后窗上部以及尾翼下游区域也出现明显压力恢复区,这主要与尾翼的改型延缓了尾流分离有关。
为了表征尾翼以及尾灯优化方案对车体尾部气流分离区的影响效果,图12给出了纵向对称平面时均流向速度(x方向分速度)u云图。尾流低速区由u=0的白色等值线表示。相比于base方案,case1和case2由于尾灯形状的改变低速区底部向x方向略微增长,但尾灯区域形成一块较为明显的加速区;case3中由于尾翼形状的改变,尾翼附近的低速区大幅减小,并且延缓了尾翼下游的气流分离,再附区缩短至尾灯上沿,极大缩小了气流分离区。图13给出了气流分离区z平面来流方向速度分布云图,同样的,用u=0的白色等值线表示尾流低速区。在case1和case2方案中,由于尾灯上表面在z方向的抬升,使得尾流再循环区相比于base方案从两侧向中心移动,即再循环区y方向尺寸减小,且随着z方向抬升距离的提高,两侧的低速区大幅减小,说明尾灯形状的改变主要控制尾流气流分离区横向尺度(即y方向);在case3方案中,低速区减小至中心区域,且气流分离区在y方向以及x方向都有不同程度移动,极大降低了尾流分离效应。
为了探究压力及速度差异的变化原因,需要对尾流结构进行深入的分析,图14给出了Q准则平均等值面(Q=2000),得到统计平均流场涡结构。相比于基础方案,case1和case2方案尾灯后方的涡对结构得到一定抑制,对应上文尾部低速分离区的缩小,可以看出case3方案尾翼下方的涡结构明显被削弱,同时两侧细长涡结构也在一定程度上缩小,再一次印证上文所述:尾翼的改型延缓了气流分离,在一定程度上影响了尾流气流分离区,减小尾部负压区。
接下来将从速度分布以及湍流强度的角度分析尾翼以及尾灯的改型对车体尾流的作用效果。所研究流场位于沿流向方向的4个位置:x=4.3 m,x=5.3 m,x=6.3 m,x=7.3 m。
本文所研究一个重要的速度分布为尾流区流向速度u,流向速度u是表征尾流分离程度的一个重要参数,图15给出了4个位置时均流向速度分布云图。在所有方案中均能观察到一个低速区,case1、case2和case3尾灯上方中心位置的低速区尺寸减小直至消失,且两侧低速区向中心方向移动。在case3中2号位置中心区域处速度恢复更为明显,相比于case1和case2方案,case3在流向位置1、2、3号位置呈现出更高的速度恢复,这是因为优化后的尾翼延缓了气流分离,减短了再附着区,这也是该方案减阻率高于前两种方案的原因。
尾流区的非定常速度波动不仅影响车体尾部低压涡旋的产生,增大压差阻力,同时也容易恶化汽车行驶状况,影响操纵稳定性。因此本文用湍动能(TKE)来讨论优化方案对尾流湍流波动的影响。如图16所示,从基础方案来看,在位置1处高湍动能区主要出现在车尾左右两边以及中心近地面区域,并在位置2逐渐合并,进而向下游开始耗散。通过在case1和case2中改变尾灯上沿形状,使位置1处的高湍动能区向中心靠拢,并降低了位置2处左右两侧高湍动能区的作用,从整体上看降低了湍流波动的影响;case3方案中在改变尾翼形状后,在位置2处高湍动能作用区域进一步减小,同时相比于case1和case2,其湍动能向下游耗散速度更快。
为了探究尾翼以及尾灯改型对车体尾部区域尾流的影响效果,这里将本征正交分解(POD)方法应用于纵向对称平面的速度流场当中,即y=0平面,来研究相关主频率下的尾流动力学。该方法能够从能量占比以及模态频率两方面深入解析流动结构。该方法最初由Lumley[20]于1970年提出并引入到流体动力学的分析当中,1987年经Sirovich[21]修改并提出快照POD方法大大降低计算量,该方法是基于快照的相关矩阵,来寻找最优的正交基向量,并对能量结构进行排序。快照之间的时间步长为Δt=0.001 s,因此模态分析过程中最高频率为500 Hz,采用3 000张快照进行分析。在本文研究内容当中,基于能量占比的尾流动力学分析,能够识别尾流低压涡旋结构,并给出相关结构的主频率信息,该处频率用与自由来流速度和模型特征长度相关的斯特罗哈尔数St表示。流场速度数据采样时间为3 s,采样频率为1 000 Hz,最终选取3 000张快照进行POD分析,这里仅选取case3方案与基础方案进行对比,通过能量排序来识别POD模态。图17(a)和图17(b)给出了base和case3方案前10阶模态的能量占比,可以发现,前两阶模态都占据决定性地位,总能量占比超过60%,因此第1阶和第2阶模态对应相干结构是影响尾流发展的主要涡结构。从图17(c)能量占比累计曲线可以看出,在中低阶模态范围内case3低于base方案,表明对尾翼和尾灯形状的改变,使得低阶模态能量向高阶转移,对应低阶模态对应相干结构对流场的作用减弱,即尾流中占主导地位的离散涡结构作用减弱。
为了详细分析流场结构,图18给出了时间平均的第1阶和第2阶模态空间分布图及相关模态系数的功率谱密度(PSD)曲线。基础方案的第1阶模态和第2阶模态对应一大型的离散涡结构,即尾流气流分离区,对应主频皆为St=0.195,在车体尾部产生较大范围的低频涡流区,在第1阶模态结构中,除了主频之外,还捕捉到频率更低的峰簇,这是由于受主频影响而产生的次生涡系结构;case3方案前两阶模态对应的涡结构整体向下游约45°方向移动,使得涡流核心区的作用范围变小,这也与上文所述能量占比向高阶模态移动相照应。从流动结构运动轨迹来看,case3方案相比于基础方案与水平线偏离角度增大,这意味着分离流再附着距离缩短,尾流再循环区域发生移动,这是由于改型后的尾翼对尾流产生延迟分离的作用所致,前两阶模态对应主频都为St=0.202。
本文进行了一款SUV车型开发初期的整车减阻设计与试验研究,并探讨了控制效果及控制机理。前轮阻风板的改型结果表明,平板形状以及弧度并不能增加阻风板的减阻效果,而具有圆角以及平面形状的3D平面阻风板减阻效果较好,气动阻力系数降低5 counts,且该最优方案是通过降低整车压差阻力与局部干扰阻力共同达到降低整车气动阻力的目的。
尾灯和尾翼的重新设计促进了后窗下方区域的压力恢复,并且影响了气流分离区y方向的尺寸,低速区范围减小,在一定程度上减小尾流负压区,但并不会过多地减少再循环区z方向的尺寸;且车尾部的脱落涡结构也得到明显的抑制。POD分析结果表明,最优改型降低了第1阶和第2阶主模态能量,即降低了尾流离散涡的作用范围,但尾流涡脱落频率对尾翼以及尾灯设计参数的改变并不敏感;从流动结构运动轨迹来看,分离流再附着距离缩短,表明了该方案对尾流产生延迟分离的作用,使尾流更加稳定。在前轮阻风板最优设计基础上,对尾灯和尾翼的重新设计使整车气动阻力系数降低20 counts,减阻率可达7.5%。
综合以上,本文对某SUV车型开发初期进行的整车减阻设计效果明显,获得了较好的优化减阻结果,这对于今后相关车型的气动减阻设计具有一定的参考意义。
