The promotion of intelligent cockpit and virtual testing protocols bring new challenge to assess the occupant injury,with the injury mechanism and injury risk assessment parameters more diversified. Based on the TUST IBMs 6YO-O and the BP neural network algorithm,a predictive model for the correlation between occupant sitting angle and head injury indicators in frontal 100% overlapping rigid barrier condition is constructed in this paper,and the correlation and difference between evaluation indicators with the different seating postures are explored. The results show that the constructed correlation injury prediction model has high reliabilities (R 2 > 0.90),which can be used for injury prediction and analysis. Existing head injury evaluation indicators have good consistency in the small angle range (95°~108°),but for the occupants with larger seating postures,there are significant differences to assess the head injury risks using different injury evaluation indicators. Therefore,there is certain limitation of the head injury assessment parameters implemented currently. In the future virtual testing,the kinematic and biomechanical parameters should be integrated to assess more comprehensively for the head injury risks. The research results can provide data and theoretical support for the improvement of child restraint systems,virtual testing,and selection of head injury evaluation parameters for occupants with larger seating postures.

智能座舱与虚拟测评规程的推广,给乘员损伤评价带来新挑战,损伤机理与损伤风险评估参数更加多样化。本文基于图斯特6岁儿童乘员损伤仿生模型与BP神经网络算法构建正面100%重叠刚性壁障工况中乘员坐姿角度与头部损伤指标相关性预测模型,探究不同坐姿下头部损伤风险以及不同评价指标之间的相关性与差异性。结果表明,构建的相关性损伤预测模型具有良好的可信度(R 2 > 0.90),可以用于损伤预测与分析。现有头部损伤评价指标在小角度坐姿范围内(95°~108°)对头损伤评估及预测具有良好的一致性,但是对于大角度坐姿乘员,不同损伤评价指标对头部损伤风险的评估存在显著差异。因此,目前实施的头部损伤评价参数具有局限性,未来虚拟测评中应综合运动学和生物力学参数对头部损伤风险进行更加全面的评估。该研究结果可以为儿童约束系统的改善、虚拟测评以及大角度坐姿乘员头部损伤评价参数的选取提供数据与理论支撑。

智能座舱与虚拟测评规程的推广,给乘员损伤评价带来新挑战,损伤机理与损伤风险评估参数更加多样化。本文基于图斯特6岁儿童乘员损伤仿生模型与BP神经网络算法构建正面100%重叠刚性壁障工况中乘员坐姿角度与头部损伤指标相关性预测模型,探究不同坐姿下头部损伤风险以及不同评价指标之间的相关性与差异性。结果表明,构建的相关性损伤预测模型具有良好的可信度(R 2 > 0.90),可以用于损伤预测与分析。现有头部损伤评价指标在小角度坐姿范围内(95°~108°)对头损伤评估及预测具有良好的一致性,但是对于大角度坐姿乘员,不同损伤评价指标对头部损伤风险的评估存在显著差异。因此,目前实施的头部损伤评价参数具有局限性,未来虚拟测评中应综合运动学和生物力学参数对头部损伤风险进行更加全面的评估。该研究结果可以为儿童约束系统的改善、虚拟测评以及大角度坐姿乘员头部损伤评价参数的选取提供数据与理论支撑。

The promotion of intelligent cockpit and virtual testing protocols bring new challenge to assess the occupant injury,with the injury mechanism and injury risk assessment parameters more diversified. Based on the TUST IBMs 6YO-O and the BP neural network algorithm,a predictive model for the correlation between occupant sitting angle and head injury indicators in frontal 100% overlapping rigid barrier condition is constructed in this paper,and the correlation and difference between evaluation indicators with the different seating postures are explored. The results show that the constructed correlation injury prediction model has high reliabilities (R 2 > 0.90),which can be used for injury prediction and analysis. Existing head injury evaluation indicators have good consistency in the small angle range (95°~108°),but for the occupants with larger seating postures,there are significant differences to assess the head injury risks using different injury evaluation indicators. Therefore,there is certain limitation of the head injury assessment parameters implemented currently. In the future virtual testing,the kinematic and biomechanical parameters should be integrated to assess more comprehensively for the head injury risks. The research results can provide data and theoretical support for the improvement of child restraint systems,virtual testing,and selection of head injury evaluation parameters for occupants with larger seating postures.

道路交通事故是一个严重的社会和经济问题,其每年造成约135万人死亡和5 000万人重伤,是导致5~29岁儿童和年轻人死亡的主要原因。世界卫生组织一个重要的健康目标是降低碰撞严重性和伤亡率,其中弱势道路使用者是关注的主要对象(占全球道路死亡人数的54%)[1]。车辆类型、碰撞工况以及主被动安全已经确定与伤害严重程度密切相关,且易受伤害的道路使用者往往是生理结构相对脆弱的人群(例如儿童和老年人等)[2-3]。为提高道路安全,降低交通事故伤亡率,对交通事故和碰撞试验进行深入分析并确定与受伤程度相关的因素必不可少。
随着人工智能理论的快速发展,机器学习算法在碰撞事故伤害程度预测方面得到推广应用。Mokhtarimouavi等[4]研究了2010~2014年间在美国加利福尼亚州发生的10 146起行人与车辆相撞事故,根据每周的时间确定了与行人-车辆相撞事故伤害严重程度相关的因素。拓展了随机参数有序概率模型、随机参数有序Logit模型、人工神经网络(多层感知器)模型和鲸鱼优化算法。为确定影响德克萨斯州西部农村道路上青少年驾驶员(年龄15~20岁)受伤严重程度的因素,Lin等[5]分析了8 859起撞车事故,建立了两个随机森林模型和两个XGBoost模型。基于标签编码器和XGBoost模型达到了最好的精度和计算成本。影响车祸伤害严重程度的主要因素是道路等级、车速限制和首发伤害事件。Gan等[6]发展了多项Logit模型和随机森林模型,用于预测高速公路上发生的涉及或不涉及交通危害的撞车事故的伤害严重程度。在涉及和不涉及交通危险的撞车事故中,影响伤害严重程度的最重要因素分别是时间和车辆类型。Hosseinzadeh等[7]分析了8 390起涉及货车的撞车事故,以开发用于伤害严重性预测的支持向量机模型和随机参数Logit模型。在所有建模类别中,支持向量机模型都比随机参数Logit模型实现了更准确的预测,且疲劳和向左倾斜与致命的货车相撞事故有关。Ospina-Mateus等[8]分析了在哥伦比亚波哥大发生的34 232起摩托车撞车事故,提出了一种多目标混合遗传算法中关联规则的混合算法:非支配排序遗传算法(NSGA-II)。与传统的机器学习和数据挖掘技术相比,该方法的准确率、精确度和召回率提高了20%~21%。
目前,采用机器学习技术评估碰撞事故损伤风险的研究大多基于交通事故数据库,探究事故因素对伤害严重程度的影响以及事故救援效率的准确性,希望通过优化事故过程和事故后救援效率以降低乘员的伤亡率。但是,基于交通事故数据得到的相关结论,不能反映车辆配置(如座椅角度、安全带系数等)对乘员损伤的影响,对整车开发与改善难以起到指导性作用。同时,智能座舱以及虚拟测评规程的实施,丰富了乘员乘坐姿势和评价指标,使其损伤机理与损伤评价准则更加多样化[9],因此深入探究多姿态儿童乘员损伤趋势以及头部损伤参数之间的差异性和可靠性,可以弥补现有儿童约束系统的局限性,并为虚拟测评提供理论与数据支撑。本文中基于经过验证且具有详细解剖学结构和普遍适用性的6岁儿童损伤仿生模型,采用仿真模拟与反向传播(BP)神经网络算法结合方式探究座椅角度对损伤严重程度的影响以及头部各损伤指标之间的相关性与差异性。
研究采用图斯特6岁儿童乘员损伤仿生模型(TUST injury bionic models 6YO-O,TUST IBMs 6YO-O),如图1所示。该模型具有6岁儿童详细的解剖学特征,并参考国内外志愿者试验和尸体试验对模型可靠性进行局部和整人验证[10-15],均展现出良好的可靠性。其头部模型结构包含颅骨、大脑/小脑灰质和白质、海马体、胼胝体、脑脊液、脑干、板障、大脑镰等。
TUST IBMs 6YO-O模型采用柔性体单元构建,可以最大程度避免应力集中现象并模拟人体各组织结构的损伤机理。同时,该模型具有较好的可塑性,可根据儿童约束系统的差异快速构建具有个性化的乘员模型,并提供良好的损伤预测评估能力[916]
本文中考虑儿童乘员乘坐姿态范围,基于TUST IBMs 6YO-O模型以间隔5°构建90°~135°躯干角的多姿态6岁儿童乘员损伤仿生模型,如图2所示。与经过验证的后排座椅可调车辆模型搭建正面100%重叠刚性壁障碰撞(frontal impact test against rigid barrier with 100% overlapping,FRB)仿真试验平台。通过预压缩使儿童安全座椅与汽车座椅充分接触,儿童乘员与儿童安全座椅良好贴合,摩擦因数分别设置为0.3和0.2。其中儿童约束系统采用增高垫和三点式安全带,安全带限力为3 kN,预紧力为2.7 kN,预紧时间为13 ms。仿真模型边界条件为车辆初速度50 km/h,重力加速度9.8 m/s2,减速度曲线为实车碰撞曲线。碰撞仿真试验模型如图3所示,以90°、115°和135°为例。
BP神经网络无须事先给定输入与输出之间存在的数学公式,而是在模仿人类大脑来学习其中的规则,然后在输入值已知的情况下通过训练得到最接近实际的输出数值,其由输入层、隐含层和输出层3部分组成,3层之间的所有神经元节点都是连通的,但属于同一层的神经元节点没有连通。该算法训练过程包括两个步骤,分别是信息的前向传播、误差的反向传播。为更好地评估预测模型的可靠性,拟采用均方根误差(root mean square error,RMSE)和Huber函数作为预测评价函数[17-19]

式中:n为批量训练的数据量; yi)、 y ^ ( i )为第i个样本的真实值和预测值;Lyi), y ^ ( i ))为神经网络对应的预测评价函数。其中当δ趋近于0时,Huber函数会趋向于平均绝对误差(mean absolute error,MAE);当δ趋近于∞时,Huber函数会趋向于均方误差(mean square error,MSE )。
基于BP神经网络算法的特征,本研究将仿真试验获取的1 000组数据作为模型构建的原始数据源,并将试验数据按照9∶1比例分为训练集和测试集,其中儿童乘员坐姿角度作为输入集,头部损伤指标作为输出集,并根据损伤指标类型构建6个不同输出集。训练集用于训练和挑选BP神经网络,测试集用于测试BP神经网络预测能力的可靠性。模型的预测结果评价采用RMSEMAE和决定系数R 2。其中,RMSEMAE 是衡量预测值精度的2个最常用指标,其值越小代表预测的准确性越高,但RMSE受异常值的影响较大。R 2是指模型的拟合优度,变化范围在0~1,越接近1 说明模型的拟合效果越好。综合考虑3个指标选取最优预测模型构建全角度坐姿(即90°~135°)与头部损伤参数之间的数学模型。
根据Kolmogorov定理和过拟合理论,构建输入层包含1个节点,输出层包含6个节点的单隐含层前馈型神经网络,并通过测试集的决定系数确定隐含层包含14个节点。为确保预测模型的可靠性,采用十倍交叉验证法探究模型的相关训练参数,最终确定模型误差阈值为1e-6,学习率为0.01,迭代误差率为100,且在经过1 200次迭代达到最优。
儿童乘员头部作为伤亡率最高的部位,在C-NCAP中采用头部损伤准则(HIC15)和3 ms合成加速度作为线性损伤评价参数。在以往的研究中,发现头部旋转运动造成的损伤风险更显著,且头部运动学参数很难准确表征深层脑组织的损伤风险与严重程度。为更加全面描述和预测头部损伤风险与坐姿角度的相关性,额外采用头部旋转损伤指标(BrIC)和脑组织应力应变(von Mises、Maxshear和MPS)表征头部损伤严重程度。Takhounts等[20]对头部旋转运动重构分析,发现BrIC超过0.89和1.0时,弥漫性轴索损伤风险分别处于30%和50%。Baumgartner等[21]、Zhang等[22]和Bandak等[23]分别对脑组织应力应变进行深入探究,发现脑组织von Mises应力与脑震荡(von Mises > 15 kPa)、重度脑损伤(von Mises > 38 kPa)相关;脑组织Maxshear应力超过6、7.8、10以及25 kPa时,轻度脑损伤风险分别为25%、50%、80%和100%;脑组织主应变大于15%会发生弥漫性轴索损伤。本文综合儿童头部损伤试验数据、损伤评价指标、损伤阈值以及BP神经网络算法构建FRB工况下儿童头部损伤参数与坐姿角度相关性预测模型及预测可靠性指标,如图4表1所示。由表1可知,头部不同损伤指标R 2均大于0.90,RMSEMAE均小于0.1,因此构建的损伤预测模型具有良好的可靠性,可以用于FRB工况下坐姿角度与损伤指标相关性分析。由损伤预测模型可知,头部不同损伤指标均在105°坐姿处于最小值,但是各指标变化趋势存在显著差异。头部3 ms合成加速度与HIC15在130°之后存在突增现象,且3 ms合成加速度超过C-NCAP规定的高性能限值,而在90°~130°之间,3 ms合成加速度变化较为平稳,HIC15变化趋势的起伏更加显著。头部旋转损伤指标整体呈现“S”型分布,分别在105°坐姿和130°坐姿出现突增现象且坐姿角度大于120°和130°时,轴索损伤风险分别大于30%和50%。脑组织应力应变预测曲线均呈现“Z”型分布,因此仅存在一个突增范围,且该范围均处于105°~110°。但是不同生物力学指标反映的脑组织损伤风险存在较大差异,剪切应力与主应变均显示存在脑损伤而von Mises应力并未超出损伤阈值。
预测模型对比分析,发现不同损伤指标的取值范围存在显著差异,为深入探究坐姿角度对损伤指标的影响以及不同损伤指标之间的相关性,采用归一化法对各损伤指标进行处理,使其映射在0~1之间。采用以下公式对预测数据进行归一化:

综合图4图5分析可知,头部损伤趋势在不同维度展现出较好的一致性,即头部损伤风险随坐姿角度增加呈先减小后增加,且现有儿童约束系统仅在标准坐姿(105°)时可以发挥良好的保护效果。但研究中观测到头部运动学和生物力学损伤评价参数随着坐姿角度的变化存在一定的差异性,为此对6种头部损伤参数预测模型进行分析。对头部线性损伤指标(HIC15、3 ms合成加速度)分析,坐姿角度小于110°时,预测模型具有良好的重合度,对头部损伤风险评估与预测具有一致性;但坐姿角度大于130°时,头部3 ms合成加速度预测模型突增现象更加显著且超过C-NCAP规定的高性能限值(60g),而HIC15预测模型均小于高性能限值(500)。因此,随着坐姿角度增加,头部线性损伤指标对损伤风险评估与预测存在显著差异性。分析线性损伤评价指标与旋转损伤指标发现,坐姿角度为90°~105°时,对头部损伤预测具有较好的一致性;坐姿角度大于105°时,头部旋转运动造成的损伤风险大幅增加,这也进一步表明现有约束系统对头部旋转载荷的约束防护效果较差。
上述评价指标均从宏观角度评估头部损伤风险,不能描述脑组织之间的相对位移造成的损伤概率和严重程度。图4(d)~图4(f)以及图5描述了不同坐姿下头部惯性运动对深层脑组织损伤风险的影响。von Mises应力和Maxshear应力随坐姿角度变化仍具有一致的表征能力,但是头部惯性运动导致不同脑组织之间的剪切响应更加显著。因此,脑组织Maxshear应力更易造成脑损伤,且当坐姿角度大于120°时,头部轻度损伤风险将会超过25%。脑组织应力和主应变整体变化趋势具有高度相似性,但是对头部损伤风险预测角度(angle of injury,Ang-Inj)具有显著差异性:Ang-Injvon Mises>135°,Ang-InjMaxshear=120°,Ang-InjMPS=108°。采用运动学和生物力学参数对头部载荷进行评估对比,发现头部软组织对坐姿更为敏感,Ang-InjBrIC=120°,Ang-InjMPS=108°。进一步表明大角度坐姿下采用单一指标评估头部损伤风险具有局限性。
基于仿真模拟与BP神经网络算法构建的损伤预测模型可以获得90°~135°坐姿角度状态时正面100%碰撞工况中头部损伤指标数值及损伤风险。然而随着坐姿角度的变化,头部一些损伤评价参数之间表现出差异性,即相同的坐姿角度采用不同指标评估头部损伤时,表征的损伤风险以及严重程度存在显著差异。其中,头部线性损伤指标(HIC15、头部3 ms合成加速度)对风险评估的一致性受坐姿角度范围影响显著。对两者计算公式分析发现,头部合成加速度变化趋势对其存在重大影响,当加速度曲线变化较为平缓时,即坐姿角度在90°~110°之间时,两种预测模型具有良好的一致性;随坐姿角度的增加,加速度曲线出现突增现象,预测模型开始出现差异,当坐姿角度大于130°时,加速度峰值大幅增加导致头部3 ms合成加速度超出头部损伤阈值(60g),然而HIC15受加速度峰值影响较小,因此依旧小于损伤阈值(500)。综上所述,对大角度坐姿乘员头部线性损伤评价指标的选取需要进一步深入探讨。
头部生物力学评价参数可以在组织层面评估脑损伤风险,对目前采用的头部损伤评价指标(HIC15、头部3 ms合成加速度)起到补充作用,使头部损伤风险以及损伤严重程度与坐姿角度的相关性更加全面。通过对头部损伤评价指标综合对比分析,头部惯性加速度造成脑组织相对运动,且在颅骨内板的限制下头部不同软组织之间产生显著的轴向变形以及剪切变形,造成脑震荡以及脑挫伤的风险增加。因此,头部惯性损伤更易出现在深层脑组织。然而,脑组织相对运动造成的形变对轴索损伤的影响更为显著,因此不同组织相对运动造成的应变对损伤严重程度的影响更加明显。综合头部6种损伤评价指标与坐姿角度的相关性模型,宏观角度评价头部损伤风险及严重程度具有显著的局限性,且组织层面的生物力学评价指标如应力、应变对乘员坐姿角度与约束系统可靠性评估更加准确。因此,为更好评估不同姿态下乘员头部损伤风险应综合不同损伤指标,并对不同损伤指标阈值的选取进行深入探究,后续还应讨论其他测评碰撞工况中坐姿角度变化范围内这些评价参数的评估效果。
基于正面100%重叠刚性壁障碰撞试验要求,结合仿真模拟和BP神经网络算法构建90°~135°坐姿儿童乘员头部损伤指标预测模型,并验证其可靠性。通过对不同损伤指标预测模型对比分析得出以下结论。
(1)仿真模拟与BP神经网络算法结合构建的损伤预测模型具有良好的回归性与可靠性(R 2> 0.90)。因此,该方法可用于头部损伤预测模型构建及损伤评估分析。
(2)现有头部损伤评价指标在小角度坐姿范围内,即95°~108°之间时,对头损伤评估及预测具有良好的一致性。但是对于大角度乘员,不同损伤评价指标对头部损伤风险的评估存在显著差异。为更好评估智能座舱的可靠性,需要针对大角度坐姿乘员选取有效的评价参数以及相应的损伤阈值。
(3)对头部运动学及生物力学损伤评价指标综合分析,目前实施的头部损伤评价参数具有明显的局限性,为更好地评估头部损伤概率以及凸显虚拟测评的优势,应综合两者对头部采取更加全面的损伤评估。
