For the problem of tire force estimation deviation caused by the change of mechanical properties due to temperature rise during the rolling process,the vertical force estimation correction algorithm of heavy-duty tires based on thermal-mechanical coupling is studied in this paper. A variable temperature mechanical tensile test is carried out to obtain the mechanical parameters of the tire shoulder rubber with temperature change,and a heavy-duty tire thermal-mechanical coupling model is established. The ground loading test and modal test are carried out to verify the accuracy of the model. The grounding characteristics and mechanical characteristics of heavy-duty tires under the action of variable temperature vertical force are discussed,and the sensitive characteristics of the grounding parameters of the vertical force are analyzed,with the sensitive signal offset caused by the temperature rise during rolling corrected. A heavy-duty tire vertical force estimation model based on the Gaussian regression process is established and the vertical force estimation accuracy before and after temperature correction is compared. The results show that when the sensitive characteristic value after temperature correction is used as input,the maximum error of the model under vertical force loading of 10~80 kN is 3.45%,with good vertical force estimation effect ,and an improvement of the estimation accuracy by 9.17% compared with that before temperature correction.

针对轮胎在滚动过程中由于温升引起力学特性变化造成的轮胎力估计偏差的问题,本文开展基于热机耦合的重载轮胎垂向力估计修正算法研究。开展了变温度力学拉伸试验,获取了胎肩胶料随温度变化的力学参数,建立了重载轮胎热机耦合模型,开展了接地加载试验与模态测试试验,验证了模型的准确性;探讨了变温度垂向力作用下的重载轮胎接地特性与力学特性,分析了垂向力的接地参数敏感特性,修正了滚动过程中温升带来的敏感信号偏移,建立了基于高斯回归过程的重载轮胎垂向力估计模型,对比了温度修正前后垂向力估计精度,结果表明:以温度修正后的敏感特征值为输入时,垂向力加载10~80kN下模型最大误差是3.45%,垂向力估计效果良好,估计精度比温度修正前提高9.17%。

For the problem of tire force estimation deviation caused by the change of mechanical properties due to temperature rise during the rolling process, the vertical force estimation correction algorithm of heavyduty tires based on thermalmechanical coupling is studied in this paper. A variable temperature mechanical tensile test is carried out to obtain the mechanical parameters of the tire shoulder rubber with temperature change, and a heavyduty tire thermalmechanical coupling model is established. The ground loading test and modal test are carried out to verify the accuracy of the model. The grounding characteristics and mechanical characteristics of heavyduty tires under the action of variable temperature vertical force are discussed, and the sensitive characteristics of the grounding parameters of the vertical force are analyzed, with the sensitive signal offset caused by the temperature rise during rolling corrected. A heavyduty tire vertical force estimation model based on the Gaussian regression process is established and the vertical force estimation accuracy before and after temperature correction is compared. The results show that when the sensitive characteristic value after temperature correction is used as input, the maximum error of the model under vertical force loading of 10~80 kN is 3.45%, with good vertical force estimation effect, and an improvement of the estimation accuracy by 9.17% compared with that before temperature correction.

作为特种车辆上与地面直接接触的唯一部件,重载轮胎与路面接触过程中的相互作用力对车辆行驶过程具有重大影响,是车辆操控性、驾驶平顺性和行驶安全性的重要保证。实时获取轮胎力信息对汽车动力学控制具有重要意义,然而,现有的主动控制系统(ABS、TCS、ESC、SCS、AYC等)由于缺乏轮胎与路面相互作用信息,轮胎仍作为被动部件使用,同时轮胎力不易直接获取,车辆主动安全性无法得到保障。重载轮胎在服役过程中主要承受交变载荷作用,橡胶作为典型的黏弹性材料,在这种作用下应变响应滞后于应力,这种由应力应变之间存在相位差产生的“迟滞效应”是车辆行驶过程中轮胎温度升高的主要原因[1]。橡胶材料的力学性能与温度参数关系密切[2],随着胎温升高,橡胶材料的氧化及降解过程加速,直观表现为轮胎变软。
为了解决轮胎力实时测量与估计的难题,大多数研究都是基于车辆动力学模型或滤波算法求解、估算得到轮胎力信息[3-4],例如文献[3]中提出一种基于随机游走平方根卡尔曼滤波(SCKF)的分层估计方案,估计器估计了垂向力与纵向力,然后搭建随机游走的SCKF算法实现轮胎侧向力估计。随着传感器技术发展,利用传感器的输出信号进行轮胎力估计算法的开发是当今智能轮胎研究的热点。这其中包括了轮胎转速、加速度及应力应变监测,通过传感器采集轮胎滚动过程中大量试验数据,建立黑盒系统估算轮胎与地面接触力[5-7],或者通过图像识别来修正ESP的控制过程[8],从而为车辆安全控制系统提供重要辅助。轮胎温度特性解算涉及到复杂的热力耦合问题,现有研究轮胎温度场方法主要有试验法和数值模拟法[9-10],试验法可靠性高,但存在试验周期长且试验结果易受试验条件影响的缺陷,且只能监测轮胎部分点位的温度特性[11-12]
综上所述,以往基于轮胎力的间接估计研究中,多通过测量底盘状态并结合车辆或轮胎模型,建立轮胎状态观测器以估计接地力,然而,这种方案面临耦合严重、反馈链长的问题,且在处理轮胎接地力估计时,研究者们通常将不同部位的橡胶材料简化为力学特性恒定的“力学刚体”,简化了温度变化对轮胎力学特性的影响,这种简化忽略了温升对轮胎力学特性的动态影响,导致估计精度的下降。针对轮胎在滚动过程中由于温升引起力学变化,造成轮胎力估计偏差的问题,本文结合胎肩胶料变温度力学参数建立重载轮胎热机耦合有限元模型,开展重载轮胎变温度垂向力作用下的力学特性及敏感特性研究,建立重载轮胎垂向力估计模型,实现重载轮胎垂向力准确估计。
针对热-力耦合过程复杂、监测不易开展等特点,建立基于热-机耦合的重载轮胎有限元模型。
利用有限元方法[13]建立14.00R20型重载轮胎有限元模型。
(1)首先,通过AutoCAD对轮胎结构合理简化构建重载轮胎断面二维模型,并利用HyperMESH完成模型的网格划分;
(2)选用Yeoh模型描述轮胎不同胶料的应力-应变关系,通过万用拉伸机测定并拟合Yeoh本构模型关键参数,建立轮胎二维有限元模型;
(3)为节约计算成本、提高接地区的网格精度,在二维模型旋转时保证轮胎接地区域的网格精细,远离接地区的网格稀疏,同时选择稳态传输分析,实现重载轮胎有限元模型稳态滚动计算求解。
Yeoh本构模型关键参数如表1所示。
文献[14]中表明稳态滚动工况下轮胎胎肩生热最严重,为探讨温度特性对力学特性的影响,本节开展等间隔胎肩垫胶变温度力学拉伸试验,选择Yeoh本构模型描述轮胎大变形时的S型行为,建立基于热-机耦合的重载轮胎有限元模型。
参考GB/T2941—2006/ISO23529:2004规范附录B,将哑铃状试样置入EHC0038-1a温度控制箱中静置24 h,以确保试样内外均达到所设置温度。试验采用万测品牌电子万能试验机开展拉伸试验,分别设置26、46、66、86、106、126 ℃ 6个温度下单轴拉伸试验,关键参数拟合结果如图1表2所示,拟合最大误差为5.82%。
依据不同温度下本构模型关键参数拟合结果,建立基于热-机耦合的重载轮胎有限元模型,二维截面与三维有限元模型如图2所示。
轮胎的接地印记形状包含了接地印迹长宽、下沉量等接地参数特性,是轮胎力学特性的重要表征,直接影响轮胎的使用寿命、磨损状况,对车辆驾驶安全性也有重要影响。
为验证重载轮胎热-机耦合有限元模型的准确性,本文搭建Tirescan接地加载系统与模态测试系统,分别开展接地加载试验、振动模态试验实现对模型的一致性校验。
图3所示为接地加载试验系统与模态测试系统。接地加载试验通过给轮辋施加垂向力来模拟实际轮胎受力行为;轮胎振动模态试验是一种用于分析和评估轮胎在不同振动频率下的动态特性和响应行为的试验方法,绘制对比结果见图4表3。模型一致性验证步骤如下:
(1)利用Tirescan试验系统从390到960 kPa胎压范围、3 800到6 500 kg载荷范围中选15个不同静载工况对轮胎进行接地加载,获取轮胎接地印痕、接地长/宽和垂向下沉量数据;
(2)利用模态测试系统向轮胎施加不同阶数的信号激励源,提取8阶振动下轮胎模态频率与振型结果,fT表示频率试验值,Hz,fF代表频率仿真值,Hz,δ代表误差,%。
对比试验测试与有限元模拟结果表明:
(1)各静载工况下轮胎下沉量的仿真值与试验值都随负载增加而变大、随胎压增大而减小,二者变化趋势相同,胎压p=0.39 MPa、负载FZ=38 kN时,最大误差值为6.5%;
(2)试验轮胎模态特征频率与仿真结果顺序一致,相同振型下,仿真结果与试验结果模态振型一致,二者频率误差最大值为5.5%。
通过开展接地加载试验与振动模态试验对重载轮胎开展有限元模型与实际试验的一致性校验,结果表明,本文所建重载轮胎热-机耦合有限元模型的接地特性、模态振型能较好模拟轮胎真实行为,能满足开展后续研究的条件。
重载轮胎在服役过程中承受交变载荷,橡胶作为典型的黏弹性材料,在交变载荷作用下产生大量的热导致轮胎温度升高,结合第1节研究可知,轮胎的性能不仅取决于材料和设计,还会受到外部环境,尤其是温度变化的显著影响。因此,针对轮胎服役过程中的典型温升过程,本节结合有限元模型探讨接地特性与力学特性的温致效应,这不仅能为改善轮胎在高温工况下的性能提供理论支持,还对提升车辆的整体安全性和经济性有重要意义。
轮胎与地面之间的相互作用是通过直接接触产生的,轮胎力的改变相应地也会带动胎体发生形变。如图5图6所示,标准胎压p= 0.69 MPa、不同负载下,胎-路接触面发生明显形变,随着径向载荷增加,胎体变形区域变大,接地角度θ也随之增加。
图6表明:(1)随垂向力增大,轮胎下沉量由10 kN时的8.3 mm增加至50 kN时的18.4 mm;(2)由于轮辋与路面的限制,轮胎与路面间存在接触,随垂向力增大,接触面积增大,胎侧上半部分向内收紧,下半部分胎侧向外扩张,同时轮胎断面的宽度增大。
为进一步探讨温升与负载对重载轮胎变形特性的影响,分别提取26 ℃下变载荷、30 kN载荷变温度工况下胎侧与胎面中线变形结果,绘制结果如图7所示。
图7(a) ~图7(c)表明:(1)垂向力由10 增加至50 kN过程中,胎侧Y方向位移峰值由1.64 增大到8.55 mm;胎面中线X方向位移由7.98 增大到45.59 mm;胎面中线Z方向位移峰值由0.06 增大到0.29 mm,轮胎两侧位移曲线均呈现对称形;(2)垂向力作用下,轮胎与路面存在接触区域,胎侧部位越靠近接地区的区域变形越明显,由于路面限制,此部位的径向变形部分转变为轴向变形,α=180°的区域与路面距离相近,此时Sy沿周向迅速减小。
图7(d)图7(e)表明:(1)随着温度升高,30 kN静载工况下的轮胎侧向扩张加剧,侧向点位的侧向位移Sy由26 ℃时的4.29 mm增加至66 ℃时的4.85 mm,同时发生大侧向变形的范围增大,由26 ℃时的46.5°增加至66 ℃时的56°;(2)随温度升高,胎面中线点位周向位移并未发生明显改变。
由于橡胶材料本身力学特性具有非线性,轮胎的各个部位在力学表现上会有显著差异。这种结构和材料的多样性以及力学特性的非线性,使得轮胎在运行过程中展现出复杂且不均匀的力学行为。为获取更为全面、更能揭示轮胎变形特性的轮胎变形数据,如图8所示,本文针对重载轮胎结构特性,分别设置胎面、胎肩和胎侧区(P1、P2、P3、P4)胎内多传感器测点,结合有限元仿真对胎内多点位应变、加速度特性进行探究。
针对轮胎结构特征,结合图8(a)的选点结果,提取标准胎压、v=70 km/h、载荷FZ=30 kN下重载轮胎P1P2P3P4点位的三轴加速度有限元信号,绘制结果如图9所示。
以上分析表明,在特定方位的加速度信号相应特征不同,胎面中线更容易感受到垂向力的变化,而胎侧对于侧偏力和纵向力表现出更高的敏感性。故提取不同垂向力下胎面中线的三向加速度,绘制曲线如图10所示。
图10表明:(1)不同垂向力下胎面中线的三向加速度曲线均不同,随垂向力增加,加速度曲线的峰/谷值间距角变大,这是随轮胎径向载荷增加,轮胎与路面接触面积不断增大所致,直观体现为在轮胎绕周点位与地面接触的数量增加,即轮胎在不同垂向力作用下,接地角度与垂向力呈正相关关系;(2)胎面中线径向加速度曲线特征明确,趋势单一,对垂向力有较好的敏感响应性,相比之下,变载荷胎面中线轴向加速度曲线响应幅度小、周向加速度曲线特征混乱,并不适合作为垂向力的敏感响应信号。
同时提取标准胎压、v=70 km/h、载荷FZ=30 kN下重载轮胎P1P2P3P4点位的应变信号曲线,绘制结果如图11所示。
图11表明:(1)径向、周向应变曲线在轮地接触区域(θ=180°)均表现出明显的突变,其中,径向应变曲线因承受径向压缩存在谷值,周向应变曲线因拉伸应变存在正向峰值;(2)P1、P4位置的径向应变曲线波动较大,谷值分别达到-0.030 2、-0.032 4,P1、P3位置的周向应变曲线波动较大,峰值分别为0.034 8、0.027 0,相比之下,胎肩P2位置的应变曲线相对平稳。
综上所述,在进行敏感性分析时,P4的径向应变反映了轮胎在接地时的最大压缩变形,而P1的周向应变则揭示了胎侧在接触时的显著拉伸变形,胎侧P1的应变响应幅度明显高于胎面中线P4,因此本文将胎侧P1点位的应变信号作为垂向力敏感特征信号考察。
设置重载轮胎工况为标准胎压p=0.69  MPa、滚速v=70 km/h,提取等间隔变负载FZ=103050 kN下胎侧P1的径向应变信号和周向应变信号,绘制结果如图12所示。
图12(a)表明:(1)垂向力作用下,胎侧P1位置的径向、应变曲线均在轮地接触中心表现出突出的峰谷值特征;(2)垂向力从10增大至50 kN过程中,周向应变曲线峰值由0.018增加至0.062,径向应变曲线谷值从-2.09×10-4增加至-4.57×10-3,远小于周向应变曲线的变化值。
综上所述,轮胎服役过程中,轮胎不同部位的加速度信号和应变信号均受到垂向力的影响,相比之下,胎面中线P4位置的径向加速度aR、胎侧P1位置的周向应变εT信号对垂向力响应更敏感,在接地区附近曲线特征明确,幅值突出,更适合作为垂向力的敏感信号用于后续研究,因此本文选择胎面中线的径向加速度信号、胎侧的周向应变信号作为垂向力的敏感响应信号。
根据垂向力敏感响应信号分析结果,选取重载轮胎胎面中线的径向加速度、胎侧的周向应变作为垂向力敏感信号,对其进行响应信号特征分析。如图13所示,选取周向应变信号特征值峰值h1与谷值h2,径向加速度信号特征值峰值h3与峰值间距角β。结合有限元仿真对标准胎压、不同垂向力下的轮胎内衬层胎面中线径向加速度特征提取分析,绘制如图14所示的特征值与垂向力关系。
图14表明:(1)垂向力FZ从5增加至80 kN过程中,轮胎扁平化增大,轮地接触区压缩变形增大、接触面积变大;非接地区拉伸变形增大,非接地区外的区域变形减小;(2)胎面中线周向应变响应曲线的峰值h1先由0.535×10-2降幅增长至最大值1.095×10-2后,再缓慢减小至1.068×10-2;谷值h2FZ=5 kN时的2.18×10-2增长至FZ=80 kN时的9.9×10-2,与垂向力存在较明显线性相关性,判定系数R2为0.998 3;(3)径向加速度信号峰值h3随垂向力变化非线性较强,特征值曲线随垂向力增加呈现“缓慢增长-垂直增长-线性增长”的增长趋势,判定系数R2仅有0.886;与之不同,峰值间距角βFZ=5 kN时的32.4°增加至FZ=75 kN时的49.4°,二者线性关系明显,判定系数高达0.998 8;相比之下,本文选取与垂向力线性关系更明确的峰值间距角β作为垂向力的敏感响应特征值。
车辆运行过程中,轮胎与路面接触存在多方向力交织,为确保垂向力敏感特征值的单一敏感性,探讨纵滑工况、侧倾工况和侧偏工况作用下径向加速度峰值间距角β的变化规律,提取轮胎在垂向力FZ=30 kN、不同滑移率、侧倾角、侧偏角下轮胎力与峰值间距角的相对变化,对比峰值间距角对三向力的响应程度,绘制结果如图15所示。其中:FX为纵向力,N;Fy为侧向力,N;FZ为垂向力,kN。
图15表明:(1)经对比,垂向力FZ=30 kN时,轮胎在不同工况下的峰值间距角相近;(2)侧倾、侧偏及纵滑工况下,峰值间距角β并未发生明显变化;相比之下,垂向力FZ由20增加至74 kN过程中,峰值间距角β从32.4°增加至49.4°,这说明峰值间距角对垂向力的响应程度大,且有较好单一敏感性,本文选择将其作为垂向力的敏感响应特征值。
为探究温度对垂向力敏感特征值的影响作用,绘制胎肩温度Tm与特征信号、敏感特征值的关系曲线如图16图17所示。
分析不同温度下的垂向力敏感曲线与特征值可知:(1)相较于室温下的轮胎,轮胎温升后,径向加速度信号的峰值间距角增加,谷值略微增加,基线值略微减小,基线值由342.58 m/s2减少至34 ℃时的334.28 m/s2,谷值由26 ℃时的20.35 m/s2增加至34 ℃时的109.26 m/s2;(2)随温度升高,垂向力的敏感特征值变大,特征值与温度间线性关系明确,判定系数高达0.998 1,以二者线性关系为基础,可建立垂向力敏感特征值的温度修正模型β~f(Tm),为重载轮胎接地三向力的估计奠定基础。
轮胎是典型的非线性系统,很难直接建立轮地信息与轮胎力之间的解析关系,因此本文选用高斯过程回归算法[15](Gaussian process regression,GPR)建立重载轮胎垂向力估计模型。
结合第2节分析可知,胎面中线峰值间距角β对垂向力相应敏感且表现出较好的单一敏感性,同时垂向力特征值误差可较好利用温度信息修正。如图18所示,首先通过胎内监测系统获取轮胎接地信号,轮胎每滚动一周即获得一组有效数据,以胎内阵列式监测系统结果为输入,选择以胎面中线径向加速度峰值间距角β作为输入特征,同时利用β~f(Tm)线性关系实现特征值温度修正,用高斯过程的回归预测能力建立加速度信号峰值间距角β与垂向力的输入输出关系,实现重载轮胎垂向力的估算,模型计算效率与响应时间取决于轮地信号获取周期,即轮胎的滚动速度。
重载轮胎接地力估计模型进行三向力估计需要建立在模型被训练的基础上,设置轮胎标准胎压、70 km/h滚速,垂向力加载范围为10~80 kN,同时为探讨特征值温度修正对接地力估计精度的影响,先后设置原模型、温度修正结果训练集和原模型、温度修正结果测试集对照,表4给出了数据集工况设置。
分别将温度修正前后[特征值 垂向力]共90数据集作为训练集输入垂向力估计模型,图19给出了基于接地参数分析估计的垂向力估计模型训练集预测结果及误差,其中n为模型训练集序号。
图19表明:原模型与温度修正结果的训练集均方根误差分别为330.2与145.8 N,判定系数均为0.999 9,模型训练最大误差为6.72%,模型的训练效果良好。
在完成模型训练后,将剩余142组数据集作为测试集代入垂向力估计模型,验证模型各纯工况下的估计效果,绘制结果如图20所示,其中n为模型测试集序号。
由图分析可知,以温度修正后的特征值为输入时,模型训练集均方根误差为363.6 N,估计结果最大误差为4.45%,垂向力估计效果良好。
综上所述:(1)垂向力估计模型的训练集结果明显优于同条件下的测试集,同时相较于原模型,基于温度修正结果开展的接地力估计精度提高9.17%;(2)本文提出的敏感响应特征值对垂向力响应程度较高,使用温度修正后特征值开展的垂向力估测具有良好的估计精度,估测模型的训练集与测试集预测精度较高,模型适应性强,能够实现单工况下垂向力的准确估计。
针对轮胎在滚动过程中由于温升引起力学变化造成的轮胎力估计偏差的问题,本文开展了基于热-力耦合模型的重载轮胎垂向力估计技术研究,主要研究结论如下。
(1)基于变温度力学拉伸试验结果开展热-机耦合建模,建立了变温度重载轮胎精细参数化有限元模型,并验证了模型的有效性。
(2)通过开展重载轮胎接地特性及敏感性分析,选择胎面中线径向加速度信号的峰值间距角β作为垂向力单一敏感特征值。
(3)轮胎温度升高后,敏感信号存在温致偏移,温度-特征值间线性关系显著,构建β~f(Tm)线性关系实现了特征值的温度修正。
(4)本文提出的垂向力估计模型具有良好的估计效能,相较于原模型,利用温度修正后特征值开展的接地力估计精度提高9.17%,能够实现单工况下垂向力的准确估计。
