In this paper,an electric vehicle's aerodynamic drag and wake are numerically studied. The results show that the flow separates from the rear of the car may roll up into a large-scale vortex at ReL=1.1 × 107. The ratio of the RMS drag and the mean drag reaches to 3.27%,making an unneglectable effect on ride comfort and mileage prediction. The pressure at the back,the underbody,the middle and lower parts of the near wake,the aerodynamic resistance of the entire vehicle,the pressure near the wall of the rear guard plate in the bottom,and the separation flow at the bottom all have a characteristic frequency of 12 Hz. However,the flow separation at the top and C-pillar of the car does not have this characteristic frequency. It proves that the underbody flow separation at the rear is the main cause of dynamic changes of the aerodynamic drag.

本文对某量产电动汽车风阻和车底流动分离进行了数值研究。研究表明,在ReL = 1. 1 × 107时,车底部流动在尾部分离并向上卷曲形成展向大尺度涡。风阻系数脉动与平均值占比约为3.27%,这对乘坐舒适性及里程预报存在不可忽视的影响。车体背部、底部压力、近尾流中下部、整车气动阻力、车底中后护板近壁面压力以及车底分离流均存在12 Hz的特征频率,而车顶部及两侧的流动分离则无此特征频率,证明车底部的流动分离是引起风阻动态变化的主要原因。

In this paper, an electric vehicle's aerodynamic drag and wake are numerically studied. The results show that the flow separates from the rear of the car may roll up into a largescale vortex at ReL=1.1 × 107. The ratio of the RMS drag and the mean drag reaches to 3.27%, making an unneglectable effect on ride comfort and mileage prediction. The pressure at the back, the underbody, the middle and lower parts of the near wake, the aerodynamic resistance of the entire vehicle, the pressure near the wall of the rear guard plate in the bottom, and the separation flow at the bottom all have a characteristic frequency of 12 Hz. However, the flow separation at the top and Cpillar of the car does not have this characteristic frequency. It proves that the underbody flow separation at the rear is the main cause of dynamic changes of the aerodynamic drag.

行驶的汽车与空气相互作用,在流体力学中是典型的湍流绕流问题。汽车对周围空气做功,引起周围空气产生丰富的流动变化,其代价是汽车能耗将一部分用于对空气做功。流动的变化对汽车产生了反作用力,其中,沿着流动方向的分力为汽车风阻。汽车周围的空气流动是动态变化的,因此,汽车受到的气动力也一定是非定常的。气动力的统计定常结果对揭示汽车受力机理及分析动力学响应十分关键,因此,气动力的时间平均值往往是工程首要关注的信息。汽车平均风阻系数可定义为

式中:ρ为空气密度; U 为汽车与来流的相对速度;A为汽车正投影面积;FDt)为动态阻力,通常由测力天平测量或CFD仿真计算获得;T是阻力实验测量或阻力计算时间。式(1)的分子部分为风阻的时间平均,忽略了阻力本身的动态变化。显然,当阻力动态变化超过一定的限度时,可能给乘坐舒适性带来影响,给新能源车里程预报带来误差,还可能与结构或空腔产生共振,出现不希望的振动及异响。
学者们对汽车风阻动态变化做过一些研究,以简化汽车模型为研究对象,分析了三维绕流结构几何特征[1-6],阐述了尾流的非定常基本特征[7-8],尝试了一些减阻主动/被动控制方法[9-10]。利用汽车空气动力学标准模型[5]进行绕流研究可以大幅度降低研究代价,便于在风洞中开展流场、气动力、温度等多物理场实验研究。当气流绕过Ahmed、MIRA和DrivAer等空气动力学标准模型时,受模型几何形状变化以及流体惯性、黏性影响,气流可能在模型不同区域发生分离。分离的流动形成自由剪切层,产生不同尺度含有涡量的流动结构,表现为涡或波的特征。因来流速度高,车身大部分流动均是超临界流动,以湍流为主。车身的末端,无论是顶部、尾柱还是底部,在雷诺数为107量级时,分离的流动在剪切不稳定性作用下会重新形成大尺度涡[11],这些涡脱离车身时会产生准周期变化的气动力,影响阻力动态变化。此外,车身尾流不仅仅含有大尺度的流动结构,仍然还有范围很广的小尺度涡结构,其尾流频谱呈现宽带和窄带随机并存的特征,对弹性的车身产生宽带及窄带随机作用力,引起噪声。Zhang等[12]对高阻及低阻Ahmed车模绕流结构进行了系统的实验研究,利用热线、流动显示、PIV及壁面压力等测量技术,对Ahmed类车体高阻、低阻两种流场形态提出了非常系统的绕流结构几何模型,分析了各类旋涡结构的特征、形成、空间演化,提出了利用吹吸气控制流动实现减阻的方法。He等[13]构建了数值模拟与风洞实验相结合的阶背式车体尾流双稳态流场研究方法,发现车体尾部压力、阶背区域涡结构、背板后环形涡结构以及尾流动力学特征流动均与尾流的动态特性相关。Liu等[14]和Liu等[15]的研究表明,车底流动特别是车轮区域的流动对整车尾流以及风阻的影响有很大贡献。通过使用合理的流动控制方法,可以降低底部流场动能损失,削弱尾部回流区的影响范围,从而降低风阻。但研究中仍没有给出完整的车底流动图像,缺少流动特征变化的机理认识,车底流动与动态风阻关联机制仍不清楚。
综上,以模型对时均阻力的研究可以应用到真实汽车,对汽车减阻控制有理论指导意义。然而,真实汽车情况复杂,车底、车轮、车尾等均存在不光滑的几何点,产生流动分离,最终在车尾汇聚,形成复杂的非定常湍流尾流,其动态影响仍须关注。本文以某型量产的低风阻电动汽车为研究对象,利用数值仿真和全尺寸风洞实验,研究风阻动态变化规律,厘清风阻动态变化与车底流动及尾流的关系,为高效减阻设计、提升乘坐舒适性及控制异常振动和噪声奠定基础。
选用某型量产电动汽车作为计算模型,如图1所示。该模型长度L = 4.98 m,以模型长度L为参考,模型的宽度W = 0.43L,高度H = 0.31L,正投影面积A = 2.46 m2。利用实车外形扫描逆向建模得到计算模型,包含完整的外观造型、后视镜、底护板、车轮阻风板、轮辋等关键部件。车辆模型几何清理、边界划分以及表面网格划分操作均在ANSA软件中完成,最终处理为关闭进气格栅、无穿刺面、无自由边的模型,用于CFD计算。坐标原点选在车体底部最外边缘线和尾部中心线交点在地面上的投影(见图1)。
按照我国汽车空气动力学分会团体标准《T/CSAE乘用车空气动力学仿真技术规范》[16],确立了如图2所示的计算域尺寸,其中高度HT = 2.75L,宽度WT = 5.64L,相应的阻塞比为0.64%。如图2所示,计算模型位于宽度方向的正中间。气流入口设置为平均速度入口,计算域长度LT = 11.0L,入口边界距离坐标原点为4.0L,自由来流速度设置为 U = 120 km/h,以车长定义的雷诺数ReL = 1.1 × 107。为使下游流动充分发展稳定,计算域出口边界距离坐标原点7.0L,出口压力设置为大气压。模型表面设置为固定壁面。流域两侧端面及顶部均设置为对称面,即边界里外流动条件相同。地面边界为滑移壁面,滑移速度设置为 U 。车轮边界采用MRF旋转参考坐标模拟滚动,车轮接地点线速度大小与入口流速一致。
图3所示,车身表面网格分辨率为(0.40 ~ 1.69)× 10-3 L。计算域体网格为切割体网格,主流域切割体网格最大尺寸为0.05L,共设置4级加密区。图3中的a区 ~ d区,对应的尺寸分别为2.56 × 10-2 L、1.28 × 10-2 L、0.64 × 10-2 L、0.32 × 10-2 L。车身近壁面包含5层棱柱网格,其中第1层网格法向高度为1.78 × 10-4 L,以保证y+<1[12],车体周围网格在近壁面法向上的增长因子设置为1.3。
采用基于湍动能k-单位湍动能耗散率 ω模型的剪切应力输运(shear stress transport,SST)两方程湍流模型,结合改进的延迟分离涡模拟方法(improved delayed detached eddy simulation,IDDES)进行湍流模拟。数值计算通过商业软件Star-CCM+实现。基于隐式非定常不可压缩有限体积求解器进行数值模拟,对流项采用混合格式进行离散。湍流项和扩散项都采用2阶迎风格式,时间步采用2阶隐式格式,时间步长设置为1.0 × 10-4 s,每个时间步的最大内迭代次数设置为10[17],使连续方程、动量方程和湍流方程的残差均在1.0 × 10-4以下。
为验证计算的合理性,在一座全尺寸3/4开口气动声学风洞进行整车风洞实验验证。实验车辆水平安装在风洞地面上,偏航角为零,车头距离喷口0.6L。使用精度为0.03%FS的六分量天平测量气动力。利用边界层抽吸、车轮驱动、中央移动带等系统消除地面边界层,模拟汽车行驶时真实的车底流场环境,如图4所示。风洞实验雷诺数与数值模拟保持一致,即ReL = 1.1 × 107
实验测得整车平均风阻系数为0.24。数值计算方法获得的平均风阻为0.244 5,与实验测试比较,相对误差为1.88%,证明平均阻力的计算值可信。
定义压力系数为

式中:p为车底或车身表面压强实测值; p 为流动远场处参考压强。图5对比展示了车底表面平均压力系数的数值模拟结果和风洞实验结果。结果表明,前、中、后护板表面压力的变化规律与实验一致,无量纲压力系数仿真与实验对比平均差异为0.02,相对于自由来流总压平均差异为2%。计算时,采用了理想封闭方法,将真实汽车底部P09及P38点附近的物理结构做了简化,使压力系数恢复出现差异。尽管存在局部误差,但考虑到误差的来源和其对整体流场分析的影响程度,可以认为该数值模拟方法能准确地捕捉车底流场的主要特征。
为了研究车辆周围流动与风阻的动态关系,对整车风阻系数,车尾及顶部分离区、车体侧面、底护板近壁面、近尾流等处的压力变化进行了计算,计算总时长t* = tU/L = 42,对应的物理时长为6 s,数据呈现的采样频率fs = 1 kHz。
图6展示了整车风阻系数随时间的变化,其中平均风阻系数值 C ¯ D= 0.2445,脉动的均方根值 C D r m s = 0.008,脉动均方根值与平均值比值为3.27%,脉动阻力系数上下变化的最大幅度约0.05,占平均值的20%。风阻的脉动变化可能会对汽车驾乘舒适性及里程预报造成不可忽视的影响,结合式(3)式(4)计算得到,当 C D预测波动为20%时,在车速 U = 120   k m / h条件下,每秒的耗能误差为2 637.1 J。

式中SL为单位时间内车辆的行驶距离。
图7为风阻系数 C D ( t )的FFT结果。可以发现,风阻系数在 f C D= 12 Hz处存在明显的峰值,存在以周期性波动。如果此波动与汽车局部结构固有频率或舱体空腔固有频率接近,可能会产生不希望的共振或异响。
图8给出汽车尾流在不同纵对称面与 f C D= 12 Hz的结构频率一致的脉动压力频谱。图中截面a ~ e分别为 y / W= 0 ~ 0.37的5个等间距截面,暗红色代表脉动压力强度最大,间接反映与特征频率存在更高的相关性。整车风阻系数频谱特性与尾流压力脉动高度相关。在a平面,存在与 f C D= 12 Hz的结构频率一致的两个区域ZAZB,相应范围分别为0.05 ≤ x/L ≤ 0.19、0.18 ≤ z/L ≤ 0.21和0.03 ≤ x/L ≤ 0.21、0.01 ≤ z/L ≤ 0.09。其中,靠近车底部的ZB区域所占面积最大、能量高,表明此处的流动为风阻出现特征频率的波动有更多贡献。在b截面,ZA区域相关频率的能量大幅减弱,该区域的压力脉动能量仅为a截面的1/4,并且结构频率从c截面开始不再可见,表明该非定常流动结构极大减弱。b截面ZB区域仅在0.01 ≤ x/L ≤ 0.23、0.01 ≤ z/L ≤ 0.1区域存在较高的压力脉动,对近尾流总能量脉动有较大的贡献。此外,由c截面 ~ e截面频谱还可以看到,0.01 ≤ z/L ≤ 0.11区域始终存在与风阻系数相同的结构频率,脉动能量大小呈现先减小再增大的变化。结合图9x* = 0.09截面f = 12 Hz压力谱,近尾流ZB区域脉动能量显著高于ZA区域,在展向的作用区域更大。车底非定常结构频率脉动能量在总能量脉动中占主导地位。
值得注意的是,图8图9计算的雷诺数达107量级,参考二维圆柱绕流理论[15],雷诺数在2.5 × 105 ~ 3.5 × 106之间时,流动分离后产生的尾流中全部是湍流,但没有明显的大尺度涡结构。当雷诺数大于3.5 × 106之后,尾流中重新出现大尺度涡结构。虽然至今仍不知其机理,但其现象在很多类似的情况中都出现过。本算例中,雷诺数为107量级,因此尾流中重新出现了大尺度流动结构,这些结构随着流动向下游输运,出现类似涡脱落的现象,引起气动阻力周期性变化。
对车尾顶部分离区、车体侧面和底护板近壁面监测点进行分析,如图10图11所示。其中测点P01 - P48位于底护板近壁面,P49 - P51位于车尾顶部车体中心线y/W = 0处,P52 - P54位于近尾流a截面ZA区域,P55 - P61位于车体侧面。可以发现,位于车底部前护板近壁面的监测点P7 - P10的特征频率为4 Hz,能量脉动幅值较小,且随着监测点位置靠近轮缘,主频对应的脉动幅值逐渐增大,是测点P9、P10受车底结构变化及旋转车轮周围流动耦合导致。监测点P21 - P24,逐渐出现具有和整车气动阻力相同的结构频率12 Hz。后护板近壁面测点也同样监测到了12 Hz的特征频率(测点P33 - P35、P41、P43、P48)。随着车底流动结构从中护板到后护板的运动与演化,该特征频率处的幅值逐渐增大。后轮及后护板的尾缘分离处脉动最强,约为中护板区域的30倍。与文献[15]中的发现相同,汽车底部流动存在流动分区现象,这说明可以对前护板以及中、后护板结构进行分区设计。
对于车顶倾斜尾窗近壁面的测点P49 - P51,仅存在一个2.5 Hz的低频。同样,在车体侧面测点P55 - P57、P59 - P60也仅监测出主频为3.5 Hz的特征频率,以及在点P58、P61获得的主频为18.5 Hz的特征频率。可以发现,只有车底近壁面、尾流与风阻动态变化存在相同的特征频率,高度关联的区域为尾流中下部以及后护板区域。
图12(a)图13(a)图12(b)图13(b)图12(c)图13(c)图12(d)图13(d)图12(e)图13(e) 依次为 t 0 t 0 + 1 / 4 T C D t 0 + 2 / 4 T C D t 0 + 3 / 4 T C D t 0 + 4 / 4 T C D时刻车体背部及车底瞬时表面压力系数云图,其中 T C D = 1 / f C D图12(f)图13(f)为平均压力系数云图。由图12图13可以发现,车体背部、车底的压力与整车风阻存在一致的周期性变化。车体背部压力变化的区域主要集中在车体垂直后背的下半部,而倾斜尾窗的压力系数几乎不变。车底压力在特征周期内动态变化的区域为车底部中护板和后护板位置,这与频谱分析的结果一致。因此,汽车底部流动是阻力动态特征变化的主要原因。
进一步分析背部及车底表面压力周期变化的原因,图14(a)图14(b)图14(c)图14(d)图14(e)依次为 t 0 t 0 + 1 / 4 T C D t 0 + 2 / 4 T C D t 0 + 3 / 4 T C D t 0 + 4 / 4 T C D时刻y/W = 0截面瞬时速度云图,图14(f)为平均速度云图。如图14所示,车底后护板区域流动与近尾流以及地面之间存在相互作用,导致近尾流中心低速回流区面积动态变化。利用雷诺输运定理,可有:

式中:等号左边表示汽车受到的气动力矢量和; U是流动速度矢量,是时间和空间的函数;VS分别表示包裹汽车的流体体积和表面积。根据式(5),汽车的气动力与周围流体的流动速度矢量有关,尾流的动态变化反映风阻的动态变化,与二维圆柱绕流时尾流越宽阻力越大类似,近尾流低速回流区越大阻力也越大。
图15展示了不同截面瞬时及时均展向涡量场。在y/W = 0截面,存在高度集中的涡量,从y/W = 0到y/W = 0.19逐渐收缩。在靠近车辆外侧的y/W = 0.28截面,负涡量(涡矢量方向指向纸面外)集中区域相较于其在中心面y/W = 0向下偏转,随着观察截面越来越向车的两侧靠近,底部的绕流逐渐变弱。y/W = 0.37截面,流动接近远场的自由流,涡量比y/W = 0.28截面弱。车体上表面的流动表现出较好的稳定性,均是在车体垂直后背上缘几何间断处发生分离,靠中间位置分离最明显。
图16展示了不同截面速度流线,在y/W = 0截面,气流沿车体垂直后背上、下缘、底部均出现流动分离,并形成涡。从y/W = 0.09截面到y/W = 0.37截面,沿车体垂直后背上缘的流动分离逐渐减弱,分离位置不变;底部的流动分离呈现比较明显不同,分离流动卷曲成涡主要集中在中间区域,约为-0.19 ≤ y/W ≤ 0.19。
采用非定常数值模拟方法,研究雷诺数为1.1 × 107时某型电动汽车底部、尾部流动及其对阻力系数的动态影响,获得了车底及背部表面压力、近尾流与整车风阻动态变化的时空关联。通过频谱和流场分析,分析了车底流场物理特征。结果表明,整车风阻动态数据出现12 Hz的结构频率,与尾流大尺度流动结构的特征频率一致。整车风阻动态变化受车顶和车体侧面绕流影响较小,底部流动是阻力动态特征变化的主要原因。车体底护板近壁面周期性的流动分离与尾流的动态变化有重要关联,同时也影响了车体背压的变化,导致整车风阻动态波动。
电动汽车均采用底部铺平、尾部略微上翘的设计,经过车底的流动在汽车尾部流动分离无法避免。分离的流动在压力梯度作用下卷曲形成大尺度涡,随后周期性分离,这是所有电动汽车都会出现的流动状态,即引起阻力波动无法避免是一个共性现象。本文研究得到的普遍适用规律和结论,可以为电动汽车的气动设计提供参考和借鉴。
