In order to enhance the economic performance of pure electric vehicles (EVs) while maintaining better dynamic performance, a real-time shifting strategy based on driving cycle recognition is proposed for the self-developed two-speed dry dual clutch transmission (2DCT) for EVs. A radial basis neural network is adopted to predict the vehicle speed and the optimal shifting points are extracted by dynamic programming for seven types of driving cycle. Then, a driving cycle recognition model based on similarity comparison is constructed to recognize vehicle-driving conditions so as to achieve real-time shifting. The simulation based on MATLAB/Simulink and the 2DCT bench experiments are completed. The results demonstrate that the proposed real-time shifting strategy based on condition recognition can simultaneously meet the requirements of economic performance and shift frequency.

为使纯电动汽车具有更好的经济性,同时保持较好的动力性,针对自主研发的纯电动汽车两挡干式双离合变速器(2DCT),提出一种基于工况识别的实时换挡策略。通过径向基神经网络预测车速,利用动态规划提取 7种循环工况的最优换挡点,并搭建基于相似度比对的工况识别模型,对车辆行驶工况进行识别,实现实时换挡。基于MATLAB/Simulink进行仿真并完成2DCT台架实验。结果表明,提出的基于工况识别的实时换挡策略能同时兼顾车辆的经济性和换挡频率。

In order to enhance the economic performance of pure electric vehicles (EVs) while maintaining better dynamic performance,a real-time shifting strategy based on driving cycle recognition is proposed for the self-developed two-speed dry dual clutch transmission (2DCT) for EVs. A radial basis neural network is adopted to predict the vehicle speed and the optimal shifting points are extracted by dynamic programming for seven types of driving cycle. Then,a driving cycle recognition model based on similarity comparison is constructed to recognize vehicle-driving conditions so as to achieve real-time shifting. The simulation based on MATLAB/Simulink and the 2DCT bench experiments are completed. The results demonstrate that the proposed real-time shifting strategy based on condition recognition can simultaneously meet the requirements of economic performance and shift frequency.

在能源形势和环境问题的影响下,新能源汽车市场快速发展,纯电动汽车作为其主要分支迎来了前所未有的机遇和挑战[1-2]。目前全球主流纯电动汽车仍是采用固定速比减速器加驱动电机的传动形式,这种传动形式通常无法充分利用电机的高效区间,不能很好地兼顾纯电动汽车的动力性和经济性[3]。多级变速器通过合理的挡位切换,既可以提高驱动电机的工作效率,又可以降低对驱动电机的要求[4],成为纯电动汽车的重要发展方向之一。
挡位决策是自动变速器控制的核心技术,其优劣直接影响整车性能。国内外学者对自动变速器的换挡策略进行了大量研究。Peng等[5]基于容积卡尔曼滤波算法联合估计道路坡度和整车质量,并采用径向基函数(radial basis function,RBF)神经网络预测车速和道路坡度等行驶工况,提出了一种基于模型预测控制的新型预测换挡规律方法,对行驶工况具有良好的适应性。高玮等[6]应用动态规划(dynamic program,DP)算法对电动公交车多个典型行驶工况进行优化,提取了可用于实车控制的双参数换挡策略且对公交工况具有良好的适应性。 Liu等[7]通过动态规划算法优化并提取离线最优换挡规律,得到的基于动态规划和模糊控制的自适应换挡规律在动力性、经济性和换挡频率方面均有良好的表现。Lin等[8]通过对驾驶人的驾驶风格识别,提出了一种驾驶风格调整动态因子的自适应换挡策略。Ahssan等[9]提出了一种包含车速、加速度和道路坡度的三参数换挡规律,仿真得出所提出的换挡规律在丘陵路况下具有良好的表现。李聪波等[10]通过交叉粒子群算法,得到了一种兼顾动力性和经济性的换挡规律。高建平等[11]通过模糊控制识别驾驶风格,提出了一种基于驾驶风格识别的自适应换挡规律,在保证动力性的同时能很好地兼顾经济性。秦大同等[12]通过对熟练驾驶员的驾车行驶数据进行挖掘,提出了包含车速、加速踏板位置和发动机角加速度的三参数换挡规律,能够在保证经济性的同时具有较好的动力性。以上文献对换挡策略的研究主要分为两类:一类是基于优化算法的换挡策略,兼顾了整车的经济性和动力性,但无法根据行驶工况进行实时调整,对行驶工况适应性不足;另一类是基于参数在线调整的换挡策略,一定程度上弥补了对行驶工况的适应性问题,然而参数在线计算的复杂性对策略实时性是一项挑战。为获得能兼顾经济性和动力性,同时对行驶工况适应性较好的换挡策略,本文以纯电动汽车两挡干式双离合变速器(2-speed dry dual clutch transmission,2DCT)为研究对象,提出一种基于车速曲线相似度比对的新型工况识别方法,通过获取与行驶工况相似度最大的车速片段,实现对行驶工况更加精准的识别,并基于该方法提出一种可直接调用动态规划离线优化数据的新型在线换挡策略,以降低策略在线计算过程的复杂性。策略通过RBF神经网络对行驶工况进行短期预测以使决策挡位满足动力性需求,对预测工况识别并匹配预测挡位,结合历史挡位调用7种循环工况下动态规划离线提取的最优换挡点,在线决策车辆换挡。
电机、电池和变速器是电动汽车动力系统的主要组成部分,直接影响整车性能,为此,建立这些主要部件的数学模型。
本文主要考虑电机外特性曲线及电机效率。电机输出转矩由当前转速和需求转矩决定,当电机在当前转速下能满足需求转矩则输出需求转矩,不满足则输出当前转速下电机的最大转矩。
台架实验测得的电机效率map如图1所示。

式(5)可知,电流大小主要受电池内阻、开路电压和电机输入功率影响。不同SOC下电池内阻R和开路电压Uoc均有不同,变化曲线如图2所示。
图3为自主研发的一款纯电动汽车用2DCT,1挡传动比i1为3.00,2挡传动比i2为1.19,主减速器速比i0为3.91。
搭载2DCT的纯电动车主要参数如表1所示。

基于工况识别的换挡策略实现路线如图4所示。
通过RBF神经网络对行驶工况车速进行预测,将预测车速和行驶工况历史车速组成待识别车速片段,并利用搭建的基于车速曲线相似度比对的工况识别模型(后文2.1.2节介绍)对当前行驶工况进行识别。然后使用动态规划算法提取各循环工况的最优挡位数据,并与所构建的循环工况数据对应存储。最后根据工况识别结果调取存储的动态规划最优挡位数据,同时为避免车辆短时间内频繁换挡,与行驶工况历史挡位对比,决策是否执行换挡。
常见的行驶工况识别是对已有工况数据分类并进行特征参数提取,再通过K-means聚类、神经网络等方法实现对目标工况特征识别[14-15]。上述方法实现了对工况特征的识别,但未进行不同循环工况之间的识别,为实现动态规划全局最优挡位数据的实车应用,本文提出了一种基于车速曲线相似度比对的工况识别方法,实现了对行驶车速片段识别,相较于K-means聚类等方法识别结果更为精准。以实车工况的历史车速为输入,构造待识别车速片段,与构建的循环工况数据库进行对比并计算相似度,然后输出循环工况数据库中与待识别车速片段相似度最大的车速片段,则该车速片段及其所隶属的循环工况即为识别结果。
本文涉及的汽车行驶工况是以时间t为横坐标轴、车速v为纵坐标轴的二维曲线,不需要对工况曲线进行旋转、比例变换处理,可直接用于计算形状相似度[16]
两个车速片段之间相似度的计算步骤如下。
(1)设置采样时间间隔为1 s,如图5所示,将q秒时长的车速片段划分为q个子区域,并将得到的q+1个点依次连接得到q段折线,使用折线近似实际车速变化,不改变车速变化趋势的同时减小计算量。
(2)按照Gestalt心理学的邻近性原理,计算车速片段A和车速片段B各子区域曲线的形状相似度,然后将各子区域的形状相似度加权,计算得到2个车速片段的形状相似度。

将子线段在交点处分为左右两部分,按照一端重合的情况分别进行相似度计算,按照式(11)方法计算各部分占该子区域的权重值,两部分相似度加权后作为该子线段的相似度。
运用2.1.1节提到的方法,将当前时刻的h秒历史车速作为待识别车速片段,并将多个循环工况数据按顺序放置在同一个二维坐标系中作为循环工况数据库,然后计算并生成与待识别车速片段相似度最大且时间跨度相同的车速片段,最后将识别出的车速片段及其隶属循环工况作为识别结果。本文将这一方法称为相似度比对工况识别方法。
本文采用CLTC、NEDC、HWFET、WLTC、ArtUrban、SC03、10-15这7种循环工况作为循环工况数据库,如图6所示,将7个工况数据放置在同一个二维坐标图中,依次按照时间序列放置,其中CLTC、NEDC、WLTC这3种工况包含了低速、中速和高速3种类型的车速范围,并且包含了中国、欧洲及国际行驶工况特征,使数据具有一定的代表性,此外为丰富各车速范围的数据,选取ArtUrban对低速及多变工况进行补充,选取10-15及SC03对中高速工况进行补充,选取HWFET对高速工况进行补充。同时采用UDDS循环工况(如图7所示)作为后续工况识别模型验证工况。
UDDS车速曲线相似度工况识别结果如图8所示,识别获得的车速曲线片段与UDDS工况基本贴合,其中UDDS工况的相似度值的区间分布占比如图9所示,相似度值基本分布在0.6以上的区间(相似度值等于1表示两线段完全重合),0.6以上区间的相似度值数量占比达97.71%,其中相似度值0.7以上占比84.97%,表明识别的车速曲线与UDDS工况贴合良好。
为了更直观地展示识别效果,采用均方根误差RMSE和平均绝对误差MAE及相似度平均值作为识别获取的车速片段与UDDS工况之间的识别误差评价指标。
表2可以看到,所识别的车速片段与UDDS工况之间的相似度平均值为0.831 6,符合图9展示的柱状图分布结果,均方根误差RMSE和平均绝对误差MAE这2个特征值均小于0.5 km/h,车速误差较小,所提方法可以很好地对UDDS工况进行识别。
动态规划(dynamic programming,DP)是一种基于Bellman最优原理的全局优化方法。在指定工况下通过动态规划求解的最优换挡点仅适用于全局工况已知的情况,无法直接应用于未知工况。本文通过提出的工况识别方法,识别与当前工况最贴近的循环工况,并通过识别结果调取对应的动态规划最优挡位决策换挡,以达到近似动态规划全局优化的效果。
此外,为使调取的动态规划最优挡位在应用于实车时可以满足动力性需求,本文使用RBF神经网络对车速进行预测,并将预测车速与历史车速构成待识别车速片段应用于前文提出的工况识别模型。
本文以兼顾经济性和换挡频率作为动态规划全局优化目标。动态规划求解步骤如下。
(1)阶段划分:将循环工况按照步长∆t划分为N个部分。
(2)状态变量和控制变量的选择:根据电池模型及时间步长划分,k时刻电池SOC变化值与电池电流I(k)的关系表示:

(3)状态变量转移方程的确定:由于2DCT的挡位状态分为1挡和2挡,分别使用1,2表示,其换挡指令可分为:降挡、不换挡、升挡,分别使用-1,0,1表示,则挡位状态转移方程可表示为

(4)动态规划优化函数的确定
指定工况下,完成循环工况电池电荷的变化差值最小,其中单步电池电荷状态变化量为

同时为避免驾驶过程中频繁换挡,影响零部件寿命和驾驶舒适性,引入惩罚函数避免频繁换挡,采用换挡指令作为惩罚函数:

式中N表示指定工况下总步长,优化目标为代价函数J的值最小。
为保证参数在有效范围内,加入约束条件:

式中:SOCminSOCmax分别为电池电荷状态最小值和最大值;nm_minnm_max分别为电机转速的最大值和最小值,r/min;Tm_minTm_max分别为电机转矩的最大值和最小值,N∙m。
针对前文提到的7种循环工况,分别使用动态规划算法对各循环工况进行最优换挡点求解,SOC变化情况以及动态规划最优换挡如图10~图16所示。
表3展示了7种循环工况的优化结果。由表可见:WLTC工况能耗最高且换挡次数最多,由图6可知WLTC工况最高车速最大,高速区间较长且工况时间长;HWFET工况换挡次数最少而能耗偏高,该工况虽然持续时间较短但主要以高速为主,工况复杂程度偏低;10-15工况的能耗值最低,该工况持续时间仅有660 s且最高车速不超过70 km/h,但相比HWFET工况更加复杂,因此换挡次数高于HWFET工况。而在挡位使用占比方面,HWFET工况下1挡使用占比最低,主要是由于该工况车速主要在高速区间,且工况复杂程度较低,而ArtUrban工况下1挡使用占比最高,是由于该工况车速较低,最高车速不超过60 km/h,且低速工况占比较高。
为避免所提换挡策略在运用中发生频繁换挡,同时满足动力性需求,引入径向基函数神经网络对行驶车速进行预测,并与前文所提工况识别模型结合,对工况进行预测识别。
径向基函数神经网络是由输入层、隐藏层和输出层3层网络结构构成的单隐层前馈神经网络,其收敛速度快且计算量小,广泛应用于非线性化、时间序列预测等领域,其网络结构如图17所示。
根据其预测原理,选取过去一段时间的车速作为RBF神经网络模型的输入Vin,定义为

k时刻神经网络的输出车速Vout,定义为

式中:p为预测时域;vk+1k时刻下一秒车速。
隐藏层神经元采用高斯函数作为径向基核函数,则

式中:yj 为神经网络输出;wij 为输出权值;b为预设的神经元阈值;x为神经元输入;ci 为神经元节点中心;σ为径向基函数扩散宽度;z为隐藏层节点数。
考虑到实车工况的不确定性,以前文搭建的循环工况数据库作为模型训练样本数据。在神经网络设计过程中,需要采用不同的径向基函数分布系数即Spread值进行尝试,以获得最优值,表4给出了神经网络训练时在不同Spread值和神经元数目下所达到的均方误差MSE。
表4可知,在不同Spread值下,当神经元数目在40及以上时,均方误差MSE在4种Spread值下均可达到10-5级别,而当神经元数目达到100个时,均方误差MSE值降低较少,而神经元数目多少影响着神经网络的计算性能,因此选取神经元数目为40,同时,在神经元数目为40时,在Spread值为2时的均方误差MSE值达到最小,故选取Spread值为2。
基于确定的网络结构参数,以前文7种循环工况作为训练数据,对RBF神经网络进行训练,UDDS循环工况作为测试数据。单步预测结果如图18所示,其平均绝对误差为0.614 8 km/h。
图19为在线换挡策略的原理图,实现在线换挡策略需要对工况进行预测识别,因此将RBF预测神经网络与前文工况识别模型相结合并对UDDS工况预测识别,结果如图20所示。
表5展示了将RBF神经网络与相似度工况识别模型结合后的具体识别结果,可以看到相似度平均值、RMSEMAE相比未增加RBF神经网络前均有所下降,但模型的识别精度仍在可接受范围内。
为验证不同换挡策略的效果,在搭载有2DCT的实验台架上进行实验,如图21所示。
电机与2DCT组成的动力总成通过半轴、法兰盘、支架等机械结构与负载电机相连接。负载电机及其控制系统模拟整车行驶过程中的纵向负载;由电机控制器(MCU)对驱动电机进行转速转矩的控制,通过变速器控制器(TCU)负责1,2挡转速监控和换挡控制;MCU和TCU之间通过控制器局域网(CAN)总线进行通讯;上位机发送控制信号至CAN总线实现控制。
为更好地对比所提换挡策略的效果,建立最佳经济性换挡规律进行仿真并对比分析。最佳经济性换挡规律以电机效率为换挡依据,尽可能使电机工作在高效区间,以获取较低的能耗。
根据1.1节搭建的电机模型及其效率map,在踏板开度不变时,可获得1,2挡电机效率随车速的变化曲线。例如当踏板开度α为40%时,1挡时电机效率和2挡时电机效率随车速变化曲线如图22所示,图中1挡电机效率曲线与2挡电机效率曲线交点车速为70 km/h。
以同一踏板开度下,1挡电机效率曲线与2挡电机效率曲线的交点作为经济性升挡点,从0踏板开度到100%踏板开度提取经济性升挡点,同时设置合理的降挡速差防止发生频繁换挡,对提取的经济性升挡点进行拟合得到的最佳经济性换挡规律如图23所示。
在UDDS、CHTC-LT、JC08这3种循环工况下进行仿真及实验,验证所提换挡策略的可行性和对工况的适应性。其中UDDS工况复杂程度最高,CHTC-LT工况持续时间最长,CHTC-LT和JC08工况如图24图25所示。
针对3种测试工况分别应用工况识别换挡策略、动态规划全局最优换挡以及最佳经济性换挡规律进行仿真及实验,图26~图28展示了3种测试工况在不同换挡策略下仿真获得的SOC变化曲线。
图29~图31中展示了3种测试工况下,不同换挡策略通过仿真及台架实验获得的挡位变化结果,其中由于动态规划仅可用于仿真验证,在台架实验中对工况识别换挡策略及上文提取的最佳经济性换挡规律进行了实验验证。
表6~表8分别展示了在3种测试工况下不同换挡策略的具体仿真结果。
通过表6~表8可知,动态规划全局最优换挡的SOC消耗以及换挡次数在3种测试工况中均表现最优,并且3种测试工况下工况识别换挡策略在能耗接近最佳经济性换挡规律的同时,换挡次数均有所下降。其中UDDS工况下工况识别换挡与最佳经济性换挡之间的换挡次数差值最大,考虑到UDDS工况复杂程度在3种测试工况中最高,而最佳经济性换挡规律设置有升、降挡速差且无法针对行驶工况进行实时调整,工况复杂程度越高,最佳经济性换挡策略换挡越频繁,对工况适应性不足;另外2种工况下2种策略间的差值相较于UDDS工况下的差值较小,是由于复杂程度相较于UDDS工况较低,但工况识别换挡策略在仍能保持经济性的同时,使换挡次数更少。综合比较,本文提出的工况识别实时换挡策略在保持较好经济性的同时,换挡频率大幅下降,降低了离合器磨损,且对工况适应性表现更好,效果最佳。
在UDDS、CHTC-LT、JC08 3种工况下,图32展示了各工况下工况识别换挡与最佳经济性换挡的SOC实验结果对比,图33展示了各工况下工况识别换挡仿真与实验SOC结果对比,图34展示了各工况最佳经济性换挡规律仿真与实验SOC结果对比。并且3种工况不同换挡策略下的SOC变化实验结果数据在表9~表11中进行展示。
表9可知,在UDDS工况下,使用工况识别换挡策略的电池SOC消耗6.25%,能耗为2.73kW∙h,换挡次数38次。与最佳经济性换挡的能耗接近,但换挡频率减少了24次,2种换挡策略的换挡次数差值实验结果与仿真结果中的差值比较接近,与图29中的换挡频率仿真与实验结果表现符合,进一步验证了工况识别换挡策略在该工况下的有效性。此外由表6~表8表9~表11的仿真与实验结果对比发现,同一工况同一策略下实验能耗均高于仿真能耗,从图33图34中可以更为直观地看到这一能耗差值,在实验初期仿真与实验结果基本吻合,但随着实验继续进行,仿真与实验之间的能耗差值不断增大,分析其原因是仿真模型与实验条件之间存在误差导致这一结果,而仿真与能耗差值在实验后期不断增大,分析其原因是仿真过程中忽略了温度对系统的影响,而随着实验进行,设备温度升高,设备运行效率受温度影响下降导致能耗增加。通过表10表11可知,所提换挡策略在多种工况下仍能保持良好经济性的同时,换挡次数低于最佳经济性换挡规律,表明工况识别换挡策略对工况具有更好的适应性,验证了所提换挡策略的有效性。
本文以纯电动汽车两挡干式双离合变速器为研究对象,以经济性为目标同时兼顾换挡频率得到了多个循环工况的动态规划全局最优换挡点。考虑到动态规划全局最优换挡难以直接应用于实车工况,提出了一种基于车速曲线相似度比对的工况预测识别方法,通过对行驶工况预测识别,调取离线存储的动态规划最优换挡挡位,实现实时换挡,并基于MATLAB/Simulink进行了仿真验证。最后,在台架实验中验证了2种换挡策略在UDDS/CHTC-LT/JC08 3种测试工况下的能耗和换挡频率。结果表明,基于相似度比对的工况识别换挡策略具有接近于最佳经济性换挡规律的能耗,且对工况适应性更好,同时换挡频率显著下降,在保证良好经济性的同时,提高了乘坐舒适性。
