The high casualty rate among passengers in cars rearending trucks has aroused a great deal of attention. However, neither domestic nor international standards and regulations have published AEB tests specific to rearend collisions between passenger cars and trucks. The paper proposes a new typical AEB test scenario for passenger cars rearending trucks, based on real traffic accident data in the future mobile traffic accident scenario study(FASS) database. The Kmeans clustering algorithm is used to identify the test target color that represents actual trucks, and the characteristic parameters of the truck's rear are extracted based on accident data analysis. A new AEB test target is designed and produced, resembling a red, heavy and boxtype truck, with reflective characteristics and machine vision features similar to those of real trucks. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the test target were verified by real vehicle tests, where the truck target remained stationary while the test vehicle speeds were set at 45, 50, 55, 60 km/h, with a 100% overlap. This study provides data support for the development of relevant standards and regulations of vehicle active safety and promotes the improvement of vehicle active safety testing technology.

基于未来出行交通事故场景研究数据库中的乘用车追尾卡车事故,分析并提出了以卡车为目标物的乘用车自动紧急制动系统的典型测试工况。采用Kmeans聚类算法得出可代表实际卡车的目标物颜色,基于事故数据分析提取卡车目标物尾部特征参数,设计并制作了一种新型的具有与真实车辆反射特性和机器视觉识别特性接近的重型厢式卡车目标物。卡车目标物静止,测试车辆分别以45、50、55、60 km/h的速度进行100%重叠自动紧急制动系统测试,验证了该目标物的可行性和有效性。可为车辆主动安全相关标准法规研究提供数据支撑,推动车辆主动安全测试技术的发展。

The high casualty rate among passengers in cars rearending trucks has aroused a great deal of attention. However, neither domestic nor international standards and regulations have published AEB tests specific to rearend collisions between passenger cars and trucks. The paper proposes a new typical AEB test scenario for passenger cars rearending trucks, based on real traffic accident data in the future mobile traffic accident scenario study(FASS) database. The Kmeans clustering algorithm is used to identify the test target color that represents actual trucks, and the characteristic parameters of the truck's rear are extracted based on accident data analysis. A new AEB test target is designed and produced, resembling a red, heavy and boxtype truck, with reflective characteristics and machine vision features similar to those of real trucks. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the test target were verified by real vehicle tests, where the truck target remained stationary while the test vehicle speeds were set at 45, 50, 55, 60 km/h, with a 100% overlap. This study provides data support for the development of relevant standards and regulations of vehicle active safety and promotes the improvement of vehicle active safety testing technology.

根据公安部交通管理局 2015-2020 年《道路交通事故统计年报》数据显示, 高速路上, 两车追尾事故在所有事故形态中占比最高,死亡人数同样占比最高。以 2020 年为例,两车追尾事故占高速总事故数的 42.61%。这主要与高速公路的封闭性和单向通行性有关。2020 年,追尾事故死亡人数占高速事故中总死亡人数的 42.83%,见表 1[1]
在追尾碰撞事故中, 乘用车与卡车的追尾事故占了很大比重,而由于乘用车相对于卡车,存在行驶速度高、总质量小、重心低等原因,所以乘用车往往在这些碰撞事故中处于弱势地位。在追尾卡车后部后, 乘用车前部会产生较大变形, 更严重的情况是乘用车会钻入卡车底部, 乘用车腰线以上部位产生严重变形, 危及驾乘人员人身安全。该事故类型引起学者的重视和大量研究 [ 2 ] 。乘用车追尾卡车典型事故, 如 图 1 所示。
自动紧急制动系统(Automatic Emergency Braking System, AEB) 是一项在车辆自主检测到前方存在碰撞危险时, 自动启动行车制动, 使车辆行驶速度降低, 尽可能避免碰撞发生的主动安全系统。由于 $\mathrm{{AEB}}$ 的普及安装可极大地避免乘用车追尾卡车等类似事故的发生, 所以各国对 AEB 也越来越重视 [ 3 ] 。因此,围绕对 AEB 开发和测试的需求, 国内外主流检测机构都制定了相应的测评规程, 测试项目见 表 2 。其中, AEB CCR (包括 CCRs、CCb、CCRm)车车追尾测试和 AEB Tap AEB转向横穿测试的目标物是具有与 M1 类乘用车相同视觉、雷达、反射率属性的充气物体, 测试场景主要反映了乘用车与乘用车追尾, 以及在交叉路口乘用车前对乘用车前的测试场景。AEB 行人、倒车 AEB 行人、AEB 自行车、AEB PTW 机动两轮车主要反映了车辆与弱势道路使用者 (Vulnerable Road Users, VRU) 发生冲突的危险场景。可以看出, 在国内外主流的测评规程中, Euro NCAP AEB 测试规程覆盖场景相对更多, 但均未涉及乘用车追尾卡车目标物的冲突场景 [ 4 ]
本文基于中国汽车工程研究院股份有限公司 (下文简称 “中国汽研” )开展的未来出行交通事故场景研究(Future Mobile Traffic Accident Scenario Study, FASS)数据库中真实的乘用车追尾卡车事故, 分析并提取了乘用车追尾卡车 AEB 测试的边界条件, 卡车尾部特征参数, 并采用 K-means 聚类算法提取出卡车目标物的颜色, 设计了一种新型的卡车目标物, 最后进行了实车测试, 验证了该测试工况和目标物的可行性和有效性, 为车辆主动安全相关标准法规研究提供数据支撑, 推动车辆主动安全测试技术的发展。主流测评规程 AEB 测试场景矩阵, 见 表 2
本研究中的事故数据来源于 FASS 数据库。该数据库的采集条件是至少 1 辆四轮车参与, 有人伤亡。采集的事故信息包含:事故现场信息、道路环境信息、车辆基本信息和损坏信息、人员基本信息和受伤信息、事故过程视频等。2008-2021 年,采集到乘用车追尾卡车事故共 399 起,在乘用车的 399 名驾驶员当中,未受伤的人数为 97 人,受伤及死亡人数为 302 人,其中,死亡人数为 122 人。驾驶员位置的伤亡率为 75.7%,死亡率为 30.6%,如 图 2 所示。由此可见, 乘用车追尾卡车造成的乘用车内驾乘人员伤亡率较高。
本研究技术路线如 图 3 所示, 基于 FASS 数据库中的事故信息分析乘用车追尾卡车事故的碰撞边界特征, 提炼卡车目标物的特征参数, 制作高逼真度的软体目标物, 并将研制出的目标物进行测试应用。
测试场景搭建是主动安全测试评价中的关键, 要从真实复杂多变的事故场景中挖掘提炼各类场景中有代表性的典型参数。而原始数据中存在无效数据、错误数据、无法获取的数据等, 需要通过数据清洗, 概率分布统计和聚类分析, 并结合实际测试经验, 筛选设计最终的测试场景。本文首先选择对事故严重程度影响较大的关键参数作为测试场景的核心要素,后续将持续优化完善该测试场景的要素 [ 5 ]
碰撞速度是影响碰撞严重程度的直接因素, 一般来说, 碰撞车速越大, 车辆之间的相对速度越大,那么碰撞程度越激烈 [ 6 ] 。在采集到的 399 起乘用车追尾卡车事故中, 碰撞时, 乘用车、卡车绝对速度和二者的相对速度分布如 图 4 ~6 所示。
数据主要呈现以下特点:卡车静止时被乘用车追尾的事故占 23%,比例较高;追尾碰撞时两车的相对速度主要集中在 ${40} \sim {60}\mathrm{\;{km}}/\mathrm{h}$
碰撞角度是指碰撞时刻车辆行驶速度方向之间的角度, 本车行驶速度方向旋转至与另一车辆行驶速度方向重合的角度即为本车的碰撞角度, 如 图 7 所示。如果碰撞时刻车辆处于停止状态, 则车辆行驶速度方向定义为车身纵向轴线向前方向。乘用车追尾卡车事故的乘用车碰撞角度分组统计情况如 图 8 所示。在所有统计的乘用车追尾卡车事故中, 乘用车碰撞角度为 ${0}^{ \circ }$ 的事故数量最多,占比为 ${83.9}\%$ , 其他碰撞角度的事故数量占比较小。
碰撞重叠率是乘用车追尾卡车事故中的重要特征因素, 在此是指乘用车车头碰撞接触区域占车头全宽的比例。在采集到的 399 起乘用车追尾卡车事故中,乘用车与卡车的重叠率主要集中在 75%~ 100%,如 图 9 所示。
综上所述, 以 FASS 数据库中事故案例为数据分析来源, 针对乘用车追尾卡车事故, 构建乘用车追尾卡车 AEB 测试的测试场景参数。测试工况是卡车处于静止状态,乘用车以 ${45} \sim {60}\mathrm{\;{km}}/\mathrm{h}$ 的速度接近卡车尾部, 乘用车重叠率为 100%, 碰撞角度为360°,如 图 10 所示。
本研究拟基于 FASS 数据库, 设计一款用于替代真实卡车进行 AEB 测试用的目标物, 卡车目标物特征要求如下:
1)卡车目标物的类型、形状具有代表性;
2)该目标物需具有在常规车载传感器下与真实卡车相似的反射属性, 包括视觉、毫米波雷达和激光雷达。
将乘用车追尾卡车事故中的 399 辆卡车, 按照 GA 802-2019《道路交通管理机动车类型》中规定的不同卡车类型分为重型卡车、中型卡车、轻型卡车、微型卡车。如 图 11 所示, 数据中重型卡车数量为 261 辆,占比最高,达 65.4%;其次是轻型卡车,占比 19.8%;中型卡车占比最少,仅为 10.5%。
根据卡车尾部特征将卡车分为厢式、仓栅式、 栏板式及平板式。以下分析将其他类型卡车经改装后尾部特征与厢式卡车尾部特征一致的也归为厢式卡车。399起乘用车追尾卡车事故中具有厢式卡车尾部特征的卡车占比最高,为 67.7%,如 图 12 所示。
根据卡车尾部尺寸特征参数, 综合考虑乘用车追尾卡车事故中卡车的统计数据, 以及中国道路主流车型的尺寸进行设计。其中, 后下部防护装置尺寸参照 GB 11567-2017《汽车及挂车侧面和后下部防护要求》进行设计。
RGB 色彩空间是最为人们熟知且与人体视觉系统对色彩感知最为契合的, 但三基色之间的相关程度过高。本文基于改进型CIE XYZ空间转换公式将 RGB 色彩空间变换得到改进型 LUV 色彩空间进行像素数据的处理分析。转换后通过对亮度参数的调整, 使色彩空间更加线性, 可以有效提高聚类结果的代表性。最终再通过转换, 以 RGB 空间对色彩数据及最终的代表性颜色数据进行呈现。以下是改进型 LUV 空间与 RGB 空间的转换公式。第 1 步 RGB 到 CIE XYZ,第 2 步 CIE XYZ 到 CIE ${\mathrm{L}}^{ * }{\mathrm{u}}^{ * }{\mathrm{v}}^{ * }$ , 第 3 步 CIE ${\mathrm{L}}^{ * }{\mathrm{u}}^{ * }{\mathrm{v}}^{ * }$ 到改进 ${\mathrm{L}}^{ * }{\mathrm{u}}^{ * }{\mathrm{v}}^{ * }$

式中: $X\text{、}Y\text{、}Z$ 为 CIE $\mathrm{{XYZ}}$ 表色系统中三色刺激值; $R\text{、}G\text{、}B$$\mathrm{{RGB}}$ 系统空间的三色值; ${u}^{\prime }\text{、}{v}^{\prime }$${u}_{n}^{\prime }$${v}_{n}^{\prime }$ 为中间变量; ${L}^{ * }$ 为图像中的亮度; ${u}^{ * }$${v}^{ * }$ 分别为图像中从绿色到红色和从蓝色到黄色的色度 [ 7 - 8 ]
乘用车追尾卡车事故中有 270 辆卡车具有厢式尾部特征, 其中, 有 258 辆卡车的尾部照片可有效反映出卡车尾部颜色。本文利用K-means算法对卡车尾部颜色数据进行聚类分析, 获取最具代表性的颜色参数。选取 Silhouette 参数作为最优聚类的评价指标。用 Silhouette 值来描述一个目标对于目标所在簇与其他簇之间的相似性。其范围是 $- 1 \sim + 1$ , 这个值越大表明目标与自己所在簇之间的匹配关系度越高,与其他簇的匹配关系度越低。Silhouette 值越高,聚类结果越好。
通过计算得到每一个像素点的 Silhouette 值, 所有像素点的 Silhouette 值构成 Silhouette 数组, 对数组内的数值进行平均值计算, 得到这种聚类簇分割情况下的评估指标 [ 9 - 10 ] 。本研究聚类簇数范围设定为 $2 \sim {10}$ ,分别通过计算 Silhouette 值进行评估, 最终选取 Silhouette 值最大的簇数作为算法的目标簇数。评估结果如 图 13 所示, 聚类簇数是 4 时, Silhouette 值最高, 为最佳聚类簇数。也就是说卡车尾部颜色最终聚类为 4 种颜色, 聚类结果如 图 14 所示。其中, 红色占比最高为 42.6%, 优先选择红色作为卡车尾部颜色。卡车尾部颜色见 表 3
本研究主要以目标物的毫米波雷达反射截面积 (Radar Cross Section, RCS) 和机器视觉识别为主, 介绍该目标物的反射属性设计过程。
选择若干辆与前文分析得到的卡车尾部尺寸相近的重型卡车实车, 参照国际标准化组织 ISO 发布的标准中对 $\mathrm{{RCS}}$ 测试场景的规定,使用 ${77}\mathrm{\;{Hz}}$ 车规级毫米波雷达、标定用角反等测试装备,分别测试其 RCS 曲线。汇总车辆在不同距离位置的 RCS 反射强度最大值和最小值, 平滑包络后得到卡车目标物 RCS 的区间带如 图 15 所示, 即为卡车目标物的 RCS 范围。
使用多个通用数据库进行卡车目标物视觉识别特性的符合性验证。由近及远记录拍摄多组不同距离的卡车目标物与卡车实车照片, 同时在数据库中进行识别对比。结果表明, 近距离情况下, 真实车辆和目标物识别率均为 90% 以上, 距离较远后识别率下降, 但目标物仍与真车保持一致。
综上分析, 卡车目标物设定为重型厢式卡车, 颜色为红色, 设计一款可用于替代真实重型卡车进行乘用车追尾卡车 AEB 测试目标物。该目标物具有在常规车载传感器识别时与真实车辆接近的反射属性, 包括视觉、毫米波雷达和激光雷达, 识别率在 90% 以上 [ 11 ]
AEB 场地测试系统主要包括 4 个部分: RT 基站、测试车辆、测试目标车辆、操作平台。RT 基站向测试车辆中的 RT 提供位置校准信息。测试车辆指装配了 AEB 的车辆。在测试车辆中安装驾驶机器人和踏板机器人用于测试时自动驾驶。安装 RT 为驾驶机器人提供定位、导航等信息。安装报警信号采集装置用于识别车辆报警信号并输出给驾驶机器人。测试目标车辆作为测试时的目标物使用。
本次乘用车追尾卡车目标物 AEB 测试选择搭配 $\mathrm{{AEB}}$ 的某款主流 $\mathrm{{SUV}}$ 车型,该车的 $\mathrm{{AEB}}$ 传感器采用摄像头和毫米波雷达融合方式, 摄像头安装在前挡风玻璃上方正中央, 毫米波雷达安装在车标内侧。目标物是本研究中设计并制作的卡车尾部气球车系统,静止放置,如 图 16 所示。测试车辆中安装了驾驶机器人和踏板机器人,测试时自动驾驶 [ 12 ]
测试车辆分别以车速为 ${45}\text{、}{50}\text{、}{55}\text{、}{60}\mathrm{\;{km}}/\mathrm{h}$ 进行 AEB 测试, 每组场景重复 3 次试验, 共 4 组 12 次试验。卡车目标物均能被测试车辆识别, 测试车辆均成功制动,避免了最终碰撞事故的发生。从每组测试场景中选取其中 1 次试验结果来看, 如 图 17 ~ 20 所示,每组测试车辆稳定速度行驶时间大于 $5\mathrm{\;s}$ , 满足测试条件。试验使用惯量传感器RT3002+数据采集系统 RT-Range S Target 来记录测试车辆行驶方向的坐标值 $X$ (每次试验,目标物位置略有调整)。 通过设备记录的卡车目标物所在坐标、制动时车辆所在坐标、制动停止时车辆所在坐标, 可以计算出制动时测试车辆距离卡车目标物与测试车辆制动停止时至目标物的距离,见 表 4 。总体而言,首先, 不同测试速度, 测试车辆开始制动时至目标物的距离不同,并且有测试速度越高,开始制动距离越远的趋势, 该策略较合理; 其次, 停车后与卡车目标物预定碰撞点的距离存在一定差异, 但测试车辆停止位置至卡车目标物的距离均在 $1\mathrm{\;m}$ 左右,距离较近, 表明该测试车辆的 AEB 决策控制算法可进一步优化,以保证安全停车距离。
1)本文首先分析了国内外关于 AEB 测试规程的现状, 其中, AEB 车车测试方面尚未开展以卡车特征为目标物的 AEB 测试。
2)以 FASS 数据库中的 399 起乘用车追尾卡车事故为分析样本, 重点关注对碰撞激烈程度影响大的核心要素, 对碰撞速度、碰撞角度、碰撞重叠率进行数据分析, 确定了边界参数, 搭建了一种乘用车追尾卡车 AEB 测试的典型场景。
3)对 399 起事故中卡车的尾部特征参数进行分析,其中重型厢式卡车最具代表性,结合事故数据和标准规定确定了卡车目标物的尺寸。采用 $\mathrm{K}$ - means 聚类算法提取 399 起事故中的 258 辆重型厢式卡车目标物的颜色, 最佳聚类簇数为 4 组, 其中红色占比最高,最终确定卡车目标物的颜色为红色, 设计制作了一种新型的卡车目标物。
4)进行了 4 组 12 次实车测试验证了该测试场景以及目标物的可行性和有效性, 该测试目标物可用于主动安全 AEB 功能测试。
5)本研究仅选取了碰撞速度、碰撞角度、碰撞重叠率 3 项核心要素构建乘用车追尾卡车目标物 AEB 测试场景, 后续会进一步完善测试场景要素, 增加道路环境、天气等要素。此外, 后续还将对卡车目标物的可拆卸性、移动性、重复使用性等进行优化。
