Traffic accident mortality, as one of the most important safety indicators, is rarely considered in current AEB performance evaluation studies. Given that the pedestrians have the highest fatality rate in traffic accidents, the paper proposes an evaluation method for pedestrian AEB performance field testing. The pedestrian AEB test scenarios are constructed according to the C-NCAP and I-VISTA protocols and a performance evaluation model is established by using the analytic hierarchy process. The proposed test and evaluation model is verified through real vehicle testing. The results show that the pedestrian AEB performance score of the test vehicle is 7.23, which is much lower than the benchmark score of 34.05. This indicates that the AEB performance of the vehicle is only average.

交通事故死亡率是车辆安全性最重要的指标之一,针对目前AEB性能的测试评价研究对该因素考虑较少的情况,结合行人类交通事故中死亡率最高的事实,提出一种行人AEB性能场地测试评价方法。根据C-NCAP和I-VISTA测试规程,构建行人AEB的测试场景,利用层次分析法,搭建行人AEB性能评价模型。结合实车试验对测试评价模型进行验证,结果表明,试验车型的行人AEB性能得分为7.23,远低于所构建场景的测试标准得分34.05,该车辆行人AEB性能一般。

Traffic accident mortality, as one of the most important safety indicators, is rarely considered in current AEB performance evaluation studies. Given that the pedestrians have the highest fatality rate in traffic accidents, the paper proposes an evaluation method for pedestrian AEB performance field testing. The pedestrian AEB test scenarios are constructed according to the C-NCAP and I-VISTA protocols and a performance evaluation model is established by using the analytic hierarchy process. The proposed test and evaluation model is verified through real vehicle testing. The results show that the pedestrian AEB performance score of the test vehicle is 7.23, which is much lower than the benchmark score of 34.05. This indicates that the AEB performance of the vehicle is only average.

在汽车工业高速发展以及国内庞大消费市场的双重驱动下,2023年我国的民用汽车保有量已高达3.36亿辆[1],交通事故也随着车辆的增多而频繁发生。根据国家统计局的相关数据可知,2022年发生汽车交事故157 407起、摩托车交通事故48 518起、行人交通事故3 907起,相对应的死亡人数分别为42 012人、9 923人和1 409人[1],由此可知,上述交通事故中的死亡率占比分别为26.69%、20.45%、36.06%,其中行人交通事故死亡率最高。为了减少交通事故,各国都在大力发展智能网联汽车。研究表明,智能网联汽车所搭载的自动紧急制动(Autonomous Emergency Braking,AEB)系统能减少27%的交通事故[2],以及40%的交通死亡人数[3],该系统对减少交通事故具有重要意义。因此,AEB系统性能的优劣成了政府、车企和消费者的关注重点。
为了客观地评价智能汽车AEB系统的优劣性,各国政府或第三方测试机构发布了相关AEB系统测试评价的标准或法规。在我国影响力较大的主要有:欧洲新车安全评鉴协会(European New Car Assessment Programme,E-NCAP)、中国新车评价规程(China-New Car Assessment Program,C-NCAP)、中国智能汽车指数(China Intelligent Vehicle Index,I-VISTA)等,这些测试标准能较全面地测试车辆AEB系统的综合性能并给出评价。同时,也有学者从特定测试环境或测试场景等方面来测试评价AEB的优劣。张新锋等[4]针对目前AEB测试评价系统中对雨雾等复杂天气考虑较少的问题,提出了雨雾天气下的自动紧急制动系统测试评价方法,并通过仿真试验验证了该方法的有效性。李妍等[5]针对当前AEB测试主要考虑直道测试的不足,提出了基于十字路口场景的AEB系统测试评价方法,并通过仿真试验验证其有效性。牛成勇等[6]为提高AEB系统的安全性,在不同碰撞偏置和不同光照条件下对系统进行实车测试评价。季中豪等[7]基于实车测试数据,提出AEB的测试评价方法,并研究了相关参数对AEB系统测评的合理性与必要性。林国庆等[8]通过中国交通事故深入研究乘用车事故数据,建立了AEB行人测试与评价方法,并通过仿真试验验证其有效性。
综上所述,AEB系统的测试评价研究已经逐渐由综合性能评价转变为特定场景或特定环境评价,从而更好地验证AEB系统在这类特殊工况下的安全性。安全性的好坏往往体现了AEB系统的优劣。交通事故死亡率是车辆安全性最重要的指标之一,但目前AEB性能的测试评价研究对该因素的考虑较少。鉴于此,结合行人类交通事故中死亡率最高的事实,本文针对行人安全保护问题,从交通事故危害性程度出发,提出一种行人AEB性能场地测试评价方法。该方法根据C-NCAP[9]和I-VISTA[10]测试规程,构建行人AEB的测试场景,利用层次分析法,通过高级驾驶辅助系统(Advanced Driving Assistance System,ADAS)测试专家打分构建判断矩阵,建立行人AEB性能评价模型。最后,通过场地实车试验验证该模型的有效性。
目前,行人AEB的测试标准主要有E-NCAP、C-NCAP和I-VISTA。为了使测试结果更贴近我国国情,本文主要参考C-NCAP和I-VISTA标准的测试场景。表1表2分别为C-NCAP(2024版)和I-VISTA(2023版)中的行人AEB测试场景。
表1表2可知,2个标准在行人AEB测试方面各有侧重点。例如C-NCAP中有较多的转弯工况和夜间工况,而I-VISTA中则比较突出儿童“鬼探头”工况,同时还考虑了雨天工况。为了能更好、更全面地评价AEB系统性能好坏,本文结合我国智能汽车测试影响力最大的2个测试标准,构建了针对行人AEB性能测试评价的测试场景。根据2个测试标准的内容,首先按车辆相对行人的运动方向将场景分为3类:横向工况、纵向工况和转向工况;然后将2个标准中类似的工况进行合并处理,且在测试内容相同的情况下选取较难的场景进行测试,最终得到如图1所示的测试评价场景。
图1中所描述的25或50是指行人与车辆的碰撞位置在车头车宽的25%或50%处。由于本文研究重点为行人AEB系统性能的测试评价,重点在测评上,因此,未对具体场景的碰撞位置、遮挡位置等场景信息进行详细介绍,具体可参考I-VISTA(2023版)和C-NCAP(2024版)测试标准。
图1可知,行人AEB性能测试包含11个测试场景,且测试场景的难易程度也不同。为了更客观地说明车辆行人AEB系统性能的好坏,首先要确定各个测试场景的得分权重。常用的权重分配方法主要有2种:主观赋权法和客观赋权法[11]。本文考虑到行人AEB测试工况较多,且现实中对该类数据统计较难的问题,选择易操作的主观赋权法对相关指标进行得分权重分配。层次分析法是最常用的主观权重赋值法,该方法通过专家对指标进行两两比较来确定得分权重,同时通过一致性检验原理来检验权重分配之间是否矛盾。
层次分析法包括目标层、准则层和方案层。结合本文构建的测试场景,目标层为行人AEB性能测试评价系统,准则层为横纵向以及转向工况,方案层为各个具体的测试场景,如图1所示。
判断矩阵根据层间元素两两比较来确定,考虑到本文的目的是得到一种评价行人AEB系统性能好坏的方法,而不同测试场景对于AEB系统来说难易程度不同,例如同一测试内容在夜间测试的通过率显然要比在白天正常光照下测试的低。因此,本文判断矩阵的构建原则是行人AEB系统通过测试场景的难易程度。此外,为了使各测试场景的权重分配更加准确,邀请所在测试团队的5名具有丰富ADAS场地测试经验的专家分别进行判断矩阵的构建,并将最终的权重分配结果进行加权平均处理。判断矩阵对角线元素为1,其余位置的取值见表3
根据打分规则,可分别得到5位测试专家构建的判断矩阵,限于篇幅,本文只列举其中1位的判断矩阵进行计算处理,其余4位的计算步骤相同。
表4为1名测试专家所得的目标层相对准则层的打分情况。
表4可得目标层相对于准则层的判断矩阵为:

由打分表可知,该专家认为横向工况相比于纵向工况稍难,转向工况相比横向工况稍难,转向工况相比纵向工况明显更难。对判断矩阵 A进行计算,可得到矩阵 A的最大特征值为3.038 5,最大特征值对应的特征向量为(0.371 5,0.150 6,0.916 1),将最大特征向量归一化处理后即可得到横向工况、纵向工况和转向工况的得分权重,分别为0.258 3、0.104 7、0.637 0。同理,可以得到准则层横向工况相比方案层的判断矩阵 B 1为:

B 1的最大特征值为5.086 9,最大特征值所对应的特征向量为(0.100 4,0.195 4,0.643 5,0.351 4,0.643 5),归一化处理后可得成人近端横穿场景、儿童近端横穿单侧遮挡50%场景、成人夜间远端横穿场景、儿童近端横穿遮挡25%场景、儿童近端横穿双侧遮挡50%场景的权重分别为0.051 9、0.101 0、0.332 7、0.181 7、0.332 7。
准则层纵向工况相比方案层的判断矩阵 B 2为:

B 2的最大特征值为3.009 2,最大特征值所对应的特征向量为(0.256 5,0.446 0,0.846 8),归一化处理后可得白天行人纵向场景、夜间行人纵向场景、雨天纵向行人场景的权重分别为0.163 4、0.296 9、0.539 7。
准则层转向工况相比方案层的判断矩阵 B 3为:

B 3的最大特征值为3.009 2,最大特征值所对应的特征向量为(0.256 5,0.846 8,0.466 0),归一化处理后可得车辆左转行人近端穿行场景、车辆左转行人远端穿行场景、车辆右转行人远端穿行场景的权重分别为0.163 4、0.539 6、0.296 9。
本文的判断矩阵是测试专家根据测试经验所得,为避免人为主观评价所造成的测试场景难易程度自相矛盾的情况,确保主观打分的准确性,分别对得到的判断矩阵进行一致性判断。
层次分析法一致性判断公式为:
C R = C I R I
当一致性比率CR<0.1时,证明判断矩阵具有良好的一致性;反之则一致性判断不通过,层间元素重要性比较存在矛盾。式(5)中CI为判断矩阵的一致性指标,其计算公式为:
C I = λ m a x - n / n - 1  
式中: λ m a x为判断矩阵的最大特征值; n为矩阵的阶数。
RI为随机一致性指标,其值为固定值,可查表得到,见表5
根据2.2节的判断矩阵计算所得,矩阵 A的最大特征值为3.038 5,矩阵阶数n为3,计算可得CI为0.019 3;同时查表得到RI为0.52,最终可得该矩阵的一致性比率CR为0.037,该值小于0.1,因此,矩阵 A具有良好的一致性。
同理,可计算矩阵 B 1的CI值为0.021 7,查表可得RI值为1.12,一致性比率CR为0.019 4,该值小于0.1,证明矩阵 B 1具有较好的一致性;矩阵 B 2的CI值为0.004 6,RI值为0.52,一致性比率CR为0.008 8,该值小于0.1即可证明 B 2矩阵具有良好的一致性;矩阵 B 3的CI值为0.004 6,RI值为0.52,一致性比率CR为0.008 8,该值小于0.1,证明 B 3矩阵具有较好的一致性。
以上计算及判断过程为1名专家的得分权重分配结果,对其余4名专家的打分情况进行相同的计算和判断,最后对所有结果进行加权平均处理即可得到各场景的权重。计算中发现有2名专家的判断矩阵一致性不通过,最终取一致性符合的3个结果,具体见表69
表6可知,行人AEB性能测试场景中,横向工况的难易权重占比为26.52%、纵向工况的占比为9.83%、转向工况的占比为64.10%。从权重分配结果来看,该结果与实际测试通过的难易程度相符合。AEB系统执行的前提是目标的识别,显然转向工况的有效识别时间最短,难度最大;纵向工况的有效识别时间最长,难度最低。
表7可知,横向工况中成人近端横穿测试场景的难易占比权重为4.36%,儿童近端横穿单侧遮挡50%场景的权重为8.34%,成人夜间远端横穿场景权重为29.83%,儿童近端横穿遮挡25%场景占比为20.71%,儿童近端横穿双侧遮挡50%场景权重为36.76%。由权重分配结果可知,成人近端横穿场景相对于其他场景难度最低,其原因是该场景无遮挡,系统的识别难度最低;儿童近端横穿25%场景权重比儿童近端横穿单侧遮挡50%的高,其原因是儿童体积较小,25%的测试场景碰撞点时机要早于50%场景,系统的识别时间更短;双侧遮挡和夜间场景的识别难度显然要高于其他工况,上述权重分配情况与实际测试难度相符。
表8可知,纵向工况中白天纵向成人测试场景的难易占比权重为14.38%,夜间纵向行人场景的权重为28.40%,雨天纵向行人场景的权重为57.21%。由权重分配结果可知,雨天场景中AEB系统的识别难度不仅高于正常白天工况,且在制动执行上难度也明显高于路面干燥的测试场景,所以AEB系统通过该场景的难度最大,其权重分配结果与实际情况也相符。
表9可知,转向工况中车辆左转行人近端横穿测试场景的难易占比权重为13.49%,车辆左转行人远端横穿场景的权重为60.06%,车辆右转行人远端横穿场景的权重为26.45%。由权重分配结果可知,车辆左转行人远端横穿场景权重最高,其原因是该测试场景中系统的有效识别时间最短,难度最大,与实际情况相符。
行人AEB性能测试评价场景权重如图2所示。
常用于AEB系统的评价指标有:车辆是否碰撞、碰撞时间TTC、制动刹停时的相对距离、最大制动减速度、碰撞时的速度减少量、碰撞冲击度等。但本文的测试评价对象为行人AEB系统的性能,考虑到车辆与行人发生碰撞后人员死亡率高的问题,本文选取车辆是否发生碰撞为主要评价指标,若车辆在各个测试场景中的避撞车速越高,则表明该车辆的行人AEB系统安全性越好,系统性能越优。显然在车辆的实际使用过程中,车速越高,避撞行人的难度越大,系统得分也应该越高。为了统一标准和方便计算得分,以整10倍为测速点,若车辆在该速度点成功避撞,则得分为该速度点数值,具体见表10
其余测试速度点得分以此类推,且最终以最高试验车速进行得分计算。
考虑到以整10速度点进行测试时,车辆总有一个不能避撞的极限车速,且相关研究表明,车速对安全有较大影响,即碰撞车速降低5%,事故死亡率降低30%[12]。因此,为量化车辆发生碰撞时行人AEB系统的测试得分,本文选取车辆速度减少率作为评价车辆碰撞时的指标。速度减少率的表达式为:

式中: η为速度减少率;V0为车辆试验时的设定车速;V1为车辆发生碰撞时的车速。
参考C-NCAP的速度减少量评价指标并结合本文的测速评价需求,速度减少率的得分见表11
表11可知,车辆发生碰撞时该测试场景的得分为前一整10测速点得分加上该测速点的车速减少率得分。
系统一致性表现也是影响AEB系统安全性的主要因素之一,所以在同一速度测试点进行3次试验,最终得分取3次试验结果的平均值。
表12可知,纵向场景的得分为54.32分,加权得分为5.10分。
表13可得横向场景的得分为43.01分,加权得分为11.41分。
表14可得转向场景的得分为27.36分,加权得分为17.54分。
根据表1214可计算得到标准法规场景的行人AEB系统最高要求得分为34.05分,用该值作为评判行人AEB系统优劣的分界线,高于该值则证明行人AEB系统的性能表现优于法规标准的要求;若得分低于该值,则证明系统性能表现低于标准最优值,且分值越低性能表现越差。
为验证本文所提测试评价方法的有效性,针对图1所列举的测试场景进行实车场地测试。进行性能摸底试验的车辆为国内某车企的SUV车型,该车的基本信息为:车长4.79 m;车宽1.94 m;轴距2.76 m;驱动方式为前置四驱。此外,由于试验车型的试验进度问题,客户要求尽量不发生碰撞,确保前置雷达传感器无损坏风险,所以在低速工况中,若行人AEB系统制动完成后距离碰撞点较近,就不再继续进行同场景的高速工况试验。因此,试验所展示的数据均为整10数据点,无高速工况下发生碰撞的数据。
参照图3所示的C-NCAP白天纵向成人测试场景进行实车行人AEB系统性能测试。图3中A-A为试验车辆的运动路径,B-B为成人的运动路径,点C是车辆完全不制动的情况下车辆与行人的碰撞位置。按照图2所示的权重搭建测试场景进行试验,得到如图4所示的试验结果。
图4可知,试验车辆在CPLA白天测试场景中的最高避撞车速为60 km/h,结合本文提出的测试评价模型,在该场景中行人AEB系统的得分为60分,系统权重得分为0.81分。
图5所示,参照C-NCAP的夜间CPLA测试场景进行试验。图中A-A为试验场路径,B-B为成人路径,C为试验车完全不制动时车辆与行人的碰撞位置,试验车辆和背景车辆OV均开启近光灯。试验结果如图6所示。
图6可知,试验车辆在夜间CPLA测试场景中的最高避撞车速为80 km/h,结合本文提出的测试评价模型,在该场景中行人AEB系统的得分为80分,系统权重得分为2.13分。
图7为参照I-VISTA的成人近端横穿测试场景试验图,图中A-A为成人运动路径,B-B为试验场运动路径,M为试验车完全不制动时车辆与行人的碰撞点。测试结果如图8所示。
图8可知,试验车辆在该测试场景中的最高避撞车速为60 km/h,结合本文提出的测试评价模型,在该场景中行人AEB系统的得分为60分,系统权重得分为0.69分。
参照图9所示的I-VISTA夜间CPFOA测试场景进行试验,图中A-A为成人运动路径,B-B为试验车运动路径,M为试验车完全不制动时车与成人的碰撞位置,背景车和试验车均开启近光灯。试验结果如图10所示。
图10可知,试验车在CPFOA夜间测试场景中的最高避撞车速为40 km/h,结合本文提出的测试评价模型,在该场景中行人AEB系统的得分为40分,系统权重得分为3.16分。
参照图11所示的I-VISTA儿童近端横穿单侧遮挡50%测试场景,图中A-A为儿童运动路径,B-B为试验车运动路径,A、B为背景遮挡车。试验结果如图12所示。
图12所示,试验车在该场景中的最高避撞车速为20 km/h,结合本文提出的测试评价模型,在该场景中行人AEB系统的得分为20分,系统权重得分为0.44分。其余未展示测试场景该车型均未通过。
根据上述试验结果可知,本次试验车辆行人AEB系统的加权得分为7.23分,远低于法规标准的最高要求34.66分。主要是因为该试验车辆的高级辅助驾驶系统(ADAS)处于开发测试阶段,行人AEB系统中未开发车辆转弯工况、雨天工况的功能,且行人横穿遮挡工况(鬼探头)的功能不够稳定,所以上述工况未进行测试。但这些未测场景所占的权重又相对较高,所以导致其行人AEB系统得分相对较低。
考虑到目前AEB系统的测试评价研究对交通事故中的人员死亡率或事故危害程度考虑较少,同时结合行人交通事故中死亡率最高的事实,本文针对行人安全保护问题,从交通事故危害性程度出发,提出一种基于场地测试的行人AEB性能测试评价方法,具体如下:
1)结合C-NCAP(2024版)和I-VISTA(2023版)中的行人AEB测试场景,构建用于本文测试评价的11个场景;
2)利用层次分析法,通过ADAS专家测试经验构建判断矩阵,计算得到各测试场景的得分权重;以是否发生碰撞和速度减少率为评价指标,建立了行人AEB系统的评价模型;
3)在试验场地对试验车进行实车试验,根据试验结果计算得到该车的行人AEB系统性能得分为7.23分,法规标准的最高得分为34.66分,远低于法规标准的最优值,该车行人AEB系统性能比较一般。
本文所提的测试评价方法能直观地判断行人AEB系统的优劣性,评判结果还可为企业开发和消费者购车提供参考。
1)本文测试场景得分的权重是直接通过ADAS测试专家的经验所得,参与打分的专家人数较少,使权重计算结果可能存在一定的主观性。
2)参与本次测评的只有1辆试验车辆且该车处于开发摸底阶段,测试结果直接与标准法规的最优结果进行比较,未进行不同车辆的多车性能测评,尚不能判断该车行人AEB性能在同期车型中的优劣性。后期可对多车型进行测试评价,形成行人AEB性能测评库,该数据库可直观地看出具体车型行人AEB性能的优劣性,可为企业的性能开发提供对标参考,提高行人AEB性能,降低行人交通事故死亡率,保障驾乘安全。
