As simulation testing plays a more important role in the development process of autonomous driving technology, the confidence level of simulation testing has become a key focus in the industry. However, there is no unified metric or evaluation framework for measuring simulation test confidence. To address this gap, this paper proposes a confidence evaluation method based on two dimensions: timing and trend. Firstly, an objective characterization index set was constructed to describe the vehicle's control timing and the variation trends of the control parameters. Secondly, four typical scenarios covering both longitudinal and lateral control were designed, with six sets of experiments conducted for each scenario. A software-in-the-loop (SIL) simulation platform was developed to perform the simulation tests. Finally, the Pearson correlation coefficient was used to evaluate the consistency of parameter trends, and the relative error was used to assess the consistency of control timing. The results show that the correlation coefficients of the variation curves for both lateral and longitudinal control parameters are all above 0.95, and the relative errors of the control timing indicators are below 5%, which is within the acceptable range.

随着仿真测试在自动驾驶技术开发流程中的作用日益凸显,仿真测试置信度也成为业界关注的重点。目前,仿真测试置信度尚未有统一的衡量指标和评价体系,基于此,提出了基于时机和趋势2个维度的仿真测试置信度评价方法。构建了描述本车控制时机和控制参数变化趋势的客观表征指标集。设计了覆盖纵向控制和横向控制的4类典型场景,每类场景共6组试验,并开发了软件在环仿真测试平台进行测试。采用皮尔逊相关性系数衡量参数趋势的一致性,采用相对误差衡量控制时机的一致性。验证结果表明,横纵向控制参数变化曲线的相关性系数均大于0.95,本车控制时机表征参数相对误差均小于5%,在可接受范围内。

As simulation testing plays a more important role in the development process of autonomous driving technology, the confidence level of simulation testing has become a key focus in the industry. However, there is no unified metric or evaluation framework for measuring simulation test confidence. To address this gap, this paper proposes a confidence evaluation method based on two dimensions: timing and trend. Firstly, an objective characterization index set was constructed to describe the vehicle's control timing and the variation trends of the control parameters. Secondly, four typical scenarios covering both longitudinal and lateral control were designed, with six sets of experiments conducted for each scenario. A software-in-the-loop (SIL) simulation platform was developed to perform the simulation tests. Finally, the Pearson correlation coefficient was used to evaluate the consistency of parameter trends, and the relative error was used to assess the consistency of control timing. The results show that the correlation coefficients of the variation curves for both lateral and longitudinal control parameters are all above 0.95, and the relative errors of the control timing indicators are below 5%, which is within the acceptable range.

2020年2月,国家发改委、公安部、交通运输部、工信部等11个国家部委联合出台《智能汽车创新发展战略》[1],提出将构建六大体系作为智能汽车的主要发展任务。其中,技术创新体系涉及虚拟仿真、软硬件结合仿真、实车道路测试等技术研究。2021年,工信部发布《智能网联汽车生产企业及产品准入管理指南(试行)》,强调仿真测试在智能网联汽车产品的安全性验证方面具有重要作用,是智能网联汽车产品能否真正落地的关键[2]。因此,仿真测试对于自动驾驶的发展至关重要[3-4],是构建自动驾驶技术创新体系的基础,能整体提高智驾产品的安全质量。仿真测试一方面可以覆盖更加复杂和危险的边缘测试场景,提高测试覆盖度[5-6]。此外,还能实现零部件、子系统到整车的全链路测试,弥补实车场地测试中无法覆盖的低概率场景问题,提高测试的安全性和效率[7]
随着自动驾驶仿真测试在自动驾驶领域中的价值日益凸显,仿真测试的置信度[8-9]也受到了业界的广泛关注。置信度反映了仿真测试与场地测试的一致性,决定了仿真测试结果的可靠性和准确性。基于此,开展仿真测试置信度评价方法的研究是必要的,能有效促进仿真测试体系的发展。
置信度评价是自动驾驶仿真测试评价中的1个重要维度,表征仿真测试结果的准确性和可靠性。目前,自动驾驶仿真测试评价研究尚处于发展阶段,未形成一套统一的评价体系。在评价维度方面,田思波等[10]从安全性、舒适性和效率3个维度对自动驾驶仿真测试结果进行评价。高洪波等[11]提出了一套基于安全性、智能性、平衡性、速度性相结合的变粒度测评体系。黄丽[12]从安全性、智能性和舒适性等方面建立了多层次评价体系。也有学者构建了不同的复杂度场景,从特定任务表现性能构建评价模型[13]。由此可知,现有测试评价研究多从场景复杂度以及车辆表现2个维度考虑,对置信度评价方面的研究较少。
在仿真测试置信度方面,目前多数研究主要是围绕仿真虚拟场景的逼真度、仿真环境中目标车行为保真度两方面展开。ZHANG Yunlong[14]通过对比生成交通流场景中的背景车决策行为在决策概率和行为时序参数上的一致性,来验证仿真交通流模型的保真度。CHAO Qianwen等[15]为客观地衡量虚拟交通流的真实性,提出了一种基于字典的学习方法来评估交通流轨迹数据的保真度。QIU Weizhi等[16]提出利用场景复现逼真度来表征所构建的交通流场景的保真度。现有研究多针对场景逼真度、交通流保真度等方面,而对仿真测试置信度评价方法的研究较少,缺乏对仿真测试结果与实车测试结果一致性的评价方法研究。
针对以上问题,本文提出了一种基于时机和趋势2个维度的仿真测试置信度评价方法。首先,基于置信度的评价目标,构建了描述本车控制时机和控制参数变化趋势的客观表征指标集;其次,设计了覆盖纵向控制和横向控制的4类典型场景,并开发了软件在环仿真测试工具链进行仿真测试;最后,采用皮尔逊相关性系数衡量参数趋势的一致性,采用相对误差衡量控制时机的一致性,对仿真测试置信度进行评价研究。
本文提出了一种基于时机和趋势2个维度的仿真测试置信度评价方法。选取能代表横向控制和纵向控制的典型场景,针对相同的算法分别进行仿真测试和实车场地测试,然后通过数据后处理计算仿真测试和实车测试在评价指标上的相关性系数和相对误差,从而评估仿真测试的置信度。
本文是通过相关性系数和指标值的相对误差来评估被测车辆在真实和仿真环境下,在面对同一交通场景的决策规划表现是否一致。
为进一步提高置信度评价结果的可靠性,本文基于仿真测试置信度评价体系,设计了相应的客观评价指标集。由于仿真测试中的场景道路逼真度、仿真传感器模型、仿真动力学模型真实度与实车测试必然存在较大差异,无法1∶1还原,因此,本文主要针对智能驾驶算法决策规划部分的仿真测试置信度进行验证。基于此,为验证在两者存在模型精度和真实度差异的情况下,仿真测试和实车测试的一致性,本文以仿真置信度为评价目标,设置了与之对应的决策控制时机一致性和车辆控制表现趋势一致性2项准则,并提出了5类表征决策控制时机和车辆控制表现的具体指标。
自动驾驶仿真测试置信度评价指标体系如图1所示。
根据上述仿真测试置信度评价指标体系拆解具体指标,纵向控制表征指标有本车速度、两车车距、相对速度、纵向加速度等,横向控制表征指标有横向速度、横向加速度、方向盘转角、横向位置变化等。考虑可比性和可操作性,横向控制过程中,横向速度、横向加速度以及方向盘转角均为短时刻内变化,且变化幅度较小,变化趋势和数值误差对比效果不明显。因此,选取了如表1所示的7类描述决策时机一致性和控制表现趋势一致性的客观表征指标集,用于进行相关性系数和相对误差计算。
相关性分析是指对2个或多个具备相关性的变量元素进行分析,从而衡量2个因素的相关密切程度。统计学中的相关性系数法主要有皮尔逊相关性系数(Pearson)、斯皮尔曼相关性系数(Spearman)和肯德尔相关性系数(Kendall)。其中,肯德尔相关性系数是衡量有序分类型数据的序数相关性,适用于度量2个有序变量之间单调关系强弱;斯皮尔曼相关性系数需要将变量数据转化为序数,虽然对数据类型要求不高但是计算效率较低;皮尔逊相关性系数适用于连续性数据,但计算效率较高。因此,本文选择皮尔逊相关性系数来评估仿真测试和实车测试中车辆控制表现趋势的线性相关性,采用相对误差计算车辆决策控制时机的一致性。相对误差公式以及皮尔逊相关性系数公式分别如式(1)式(2)所示。

仿真测试置信度评估需在不同典型场景下,进行仿真测试和实车测试。为保证置信度评估的可靠性、全面性,减少偶然因素的影响。本文先基于置信度评价指标体系设计了表征纵向和横向一致性的典型场景;并进一步开发了软件在环(Software in the Loop,SIL)仿真测试平台,用以复现实车场地的典型场景。对每一个典型场景将进行6组重复仿真测试,从而减少偶然偏差的影响。
基于仿真测试置信度评价指标体系,考虑场景完备性,设计了覆盖智驾系统纵向和横向功能,且包含系统纵向功能中的前车目标选择、加减速跟车、刹停以及横向功能中的前方遇静止障碍车时本车绕行、本车偏移行驶等车辆行为的4类典型场景,分别为跟车场景、前车切出场景、自动变道场景和智慧偏移场景。
本车初始时刻车速为80 km/h,系统功能激活,行驶在3车道的中间车道,目标车处于本车正前方115 m处,始终以60 km/h匀速行驶。场景示意如图2所示。
本车初始时刻车速为20 km/h,系统功能激活,行驶在3车道的中间车道;目标车VT1和目标车VT2在本车所在车道正前方,两车纵向距离70 m;本车与VT1纵向距离为20 m;VT1以15 km/h速度匀速行驶12 s后向左切出,切出动作持续3 s,VT2始终处于静止状态。场景示意如图3所示。
本车初始时刻车速为80 km/h,系统功能激活,行驶在3车道的中间车道,目标车在本车所在车道正前方105 m处,始终以50 km/h匀速行驶。场景示意如图4所示。
本车初始时刻车速为60 km/h,系统功能激活,行驶在3车道的中间车道,目标车在右侧车道始终以40 km/h匀速行驶,初始时刻两车纵向距离为60 m,目标车距离其左侧车道线的距离保持为0.95 m。场景示意如图5所示。
为了在真实环境中进行上述典型场景的测试,记录本车和目标车的运动状态数据,保证实车测试环境的正确性和稳定性。本文选择在重庆西部汽车试验场进行表征横纵向控制的典型场景测试。该试验场场地平稳、车道线清晰、无逆光等环境干扰因素。
在测试过程中,本车和目标车均采用长安深蓝某型车辆为试验对象,本车由长安汽车高速领航智能驾驶辅助系统控制,车辆距离、车辆速度和相对速度测量等参数均通过安装在本车和目标车上的组合惯导系统获取。组合惯导系统可实现厘米级定位,从而计算两车的相对位置关系。测试人员首先驾驶本车以及目标车从静止开始启动运行,并激活功能,车距为完全自由状态;然后各目标车驾驶员根据组合惯导系统测量的车距以及相对车速等信息,当达到场景设计要求的条件时,则执行相应的场景行为;并通过CANoe数据记录单元记录整车CAN数据,通过智能驾驶软件系统记录算法模型的输出信号;最后将测试过程的记录数据保存为DAT格式文件。
基于每个典型场景的实车测试数据,提取本车激活开始时刻到测试结束时刻目标车的轨迹点、本车速度等数据;然后在仿真系统中导入实车采集的目标车轨迹点数据。仿真系统中的本车初始速度为实车测试速度,初始时刻默认高速领航智能驾驶辅助系统功能激活。
基于以上测试方案,搭建了SIL仿真测试平台。其中,被测算法模型为高速领航智能驾驶辅助系统的规控算法,平台框架如图6所示。
图6可知,在测试过程中,仿真平台VtdAdapter通过与VTD通信连接获取场景数据,如车道线数据、目标数据等;然后,通过消息订阅发布的方式传输给后端算法模块进行计算;进而,VtdAdapter获取算法输出的目标加速度、方向盘转角、目标挡位等信息返回给VTD场景仿真软件控制虚拟场景中的本车;最后,本车的状态在视景IG界面进行实时更新,完成典型场景的闭环仿真测试。
基于真实道路测试以及仿真测试采集不同典型场景的本车和目标车的交互数据,每个典型场景重复测试采集6次。通过数据后处理,对比分析单个典型场景中横纵向控制时机和横纵向控制参数趋势表征指标的一致性,以及所有测试场景中2个评价指标的统计结果,从而评估仿真测试置信度。
为评估跟车场景中仿真测试在纵向速度控制方面与真实场地测试的一致性,本文对比分析了该场景下本车车速变化趋势、两车相对速度变化趋势、两车车距变化趋势的一致性以及统计结果。
在跟车场景中,由于本车较前方目标车速度高,功能激活后本车先维持匀速行驶一段时间,然后持续减速直至速度与前车相同。仿真测试与实车测试中的本车速度整体呈下降趋势,计算得到二者的皮尔逊相关性系数为0.955 4,本车速度对比如图7所示。
计算得到本车与目标车的相对速度随时间的变化曲线,如图8所示,其变化趋势相似,计算得到相对车速的皮尔逊相关性系数为0.972 3。
本文计算得到目标车与本车的纵向距离,即车距变化曲线对比如图9所示。由图可知,实车测试与仿真测试的变化趋势基本相同,均是迅速下降后趋于平缓,二者的皮尔逊相关性系数为0.974 2。
同时,为评估纵向控制时机方面的一致性,将实车测试和仿真测试中的本车进入跟车控制状态且减速的时刻点分别记为S0S1,其中,S0=4.678 s,S1=4.434 s。如图9所示,本车与前车之间在S0时刻的距离为86.78 m,在S1时刻的距离为91.08 m,二者之间的误差为4.9%,减速时机表现一致。
基于6组仿真测试和实车测试数据分别计算各评价指标的皮尔逊相关性系数,并计算平均值。本车车速皮尔逊相关性系数平均值为0.951 5,两车相对速度皮尔逊相关性系数平均值为0.968 0,两车车距皮尔逊相关性系数平均值为0.969 1,减速时刻两车距离的误差百分比的平均值为4.36%。统计结果见表2
通过上述不同表征指标的对比分析,在跟车场景中,实车测试与仿真测试在纵向控制上的整体趋势相同,二者具有较好的一致性。
本文计算本车的速度随时间的变化曲线,如图10所示,对比仿真测试与实车测试的速度变化趋势,两者趋势表现一致,仿真测试与实车测试的皮尔逊相关性系数为0.981 8。
同时,为评估纵向控制时机方面的一致性,本文将实车测试和仿真测试中的目标车VT1切出后选择VT2为跟车目标,进入跟车控制状态后的减速时刻点分别记为S0S1,其中,S0=11.75 s,S1=12.45 s。图11是本车与VT2的车距随时间的变化曲线,由图可知,本车探测到VT2后的整体变化趋势基本相同,其中,本车与VT2之间在S0时刻的距离为17.88 m,在S1时刻的距离为17.36 m,二者之间的误差为2.9%,减速时机表现一致。
此外,基于6组仿真测试和实车测试数据分别计算各评价指标的皮尔逊相关性系数和误差值,并计算平均值。本车车速皮尔逊相关性系数平均值为0.974 2,减速时刻两车距离的误差百分比的平均值为2.88%。统计结果见表3
为评估仿真测试和实车测试在横向转角控制方面的误差,计算了本车距离所在车道的左侧车道线的距离变化曲线,如图12所示。由图可知,实车测试与仿真测试的整体趋势相似,S0S1分别为实车测试与仿真测试中本车开始换道时刻,其中,S0=7.89 s,S1=8.84 s。
为评估横向控制时机方面的一致性,计算目标车与本车的车距随时间的变化曲线,如图13所示。计算实车测试与仿真测试中S0S1时刻的两车车距。其中,实车测试中S0时刻车距为43.89 m,仿真测试中S1时刻两车的距离为42.35 m,相差3.5%,本车的变道时机较一致。由于换道完成后实车测试中目标车的速度控制非匀速,所以只计算前15 s仿真测试与实车测试中的车距皮尔逊相关性系数为0.996 3,趋势一致性较好。
此外,基于6组仿真测试和实车测试数据分别计算各评价指标的皮尔逊相关性系数和误差值,并计算平均值。两车车距变化皮尔逊相关性系数平均值为0.981 9,开始换道时刻两车距离的误差百分比的平均值为3.23%。统计结果见表4
在智慧偏移场景下的仿真测试与实车测试的一致性主要针对本车偏移时刻点、偏移趋势以及车距变化等关键参数进行对比分析和统计分析。
为对比分析本车偏移时刻,仿真测试和实车测试中车距参数的一致性,计算了本车距离左侧车道线的距离变化曲线和本车与目标车的车距变化曲线,分别如图14图15所示。本文将本车距离左侧车道线距离开始变化时刻记为偏移时刻,分别记为S0S1,从图14中计算得到S0=10.47 s,S1=8.81 s。实车测试中S0时刻车距为19.61 m,仿真测试中S1时刻两车的距离为19.46 m,相差0.8%,计算得到仿真与实车环境下车距的皮尔逊相关性系数为0.986 5,仿真测试与实车测试的横向控制表现一致性较好。
此外,基于6组仿真测试和实车测试数据分别计算各评价指标的皮尔逊相关性系数和误差值,并计算平均值。两车车距变化皮尔逊相关性系数平均值为0.972 6,开始发生偏移时刻两车距离的误差百分比的平均值为1.15%。统计结果见表5
研究表明,基于车辆控制时机和车辆表现趋势2个维度,对仿真测试和实车测试的一致性评估均较好,可以较好地评估搭建的仿真工具链的置信度,提高仿真测试的可靠性,对智能汽车的可持续发展具有较大的促进作用。
本文提出了基于时机和趋势2个维度的仿真测试置信度评价方法,用表征控制时机和表现趋势的客观参数计算相关性系数以及相对误差,来评估仿真测试与实车测试的一致性,结论如下。
1)通过分析仿真测试置信度评价指标体系,构建了描述控制时机和控制趋势的客观表征指标集;基于评价指标体系的考虑,设计了覆盖纵向控制和横向控制的4类典型场景;开发了软件在环仿真测试工具链进行典型场景仿真测试,并获得仿真数据。
2)采用皮尔逊相关性系数计算参数趋势的一致性,采用相对误差计算控制时机的一致性。基于4类典型场景的24组仿真测试和实车测试数据的对比分析,结果表明,跟车场景中的速度变化趋势相关性系数平均值为0.951 5,相对速度变化趋势相关性系数平均值为0.968 0,两车车距变化趋势相关性系数平均值为0.969 1,本车减速跟车时刻与前车的车距相对误差平均值为4.36%;前车切出场景中的本车速度变化趋势相关性系数平均值为0.974 2,本车减速时刻与前车的车距相对误差平均值为2.88%;自动换道场景中的本车换道时刻与前车车距的相对误差平均值为3.23%,车距变化趋势的相关性系数平均值为0.981 9;智慧变道场景中的本车偏移时刻与前车的车距相对误差平均值为1.15%,车距变化趋势的相关性系数平均值为0.972 6。在工程实践中,相关性系数大于0.8即可认为二者相关性极强,相对误差低于5%,即可认为二者一致。综合以上结论,纵向决策控制方面和横向决策控制方面具有较好的一致性。
由于实车测试环境与仿真测试环境在道路拓扑方面有略微差异,一定程度上影响了测试对比结果,且仿真测试置信度是一个系统工程,需从模型到集成系统进行不同维度的置信度评估才能说明仿真测试的有效性。未来将从以下两个方面开展研究:
1)基于真实场景数据重构仿真场景技术,开展车流密度较大的复杂场景下的仿真测试置信度研究;
2)对标实车车型,搭建高精度动力学模型,研究从模型一致性到整车级仿真一致性的仿真测试置信度评估方法。
