Objective

To solve the problem of no direct mechanical or hydraulic connection between the brake actuator and the brake pedal in an electronic mechanical braking system, leading to no feedback of road feel, a brake pedal feeling simulator was proposed based on magnetorheological dampers.

Methods

Ansys/Maxwell and Matlab/Simulink were used as the platform. The structural design of the sinking brake pedal feeling simulator, the structural design of magnetorheological damper, magnetic circuit analysis and electromagnetic simulation were carried out respectively, and the simulation analysis of traditional proportional-integral-derivative (PID) and fuzzy adaptive PID control under different working conditions of the whole system was compared.

Results

The simulation results show that the brake pedal feeling simulator can track the characteristic curve of the traditional pedal well under different working conditions and has wide applicability. Compared with the traditional PID control effect, the fuzzy adaptive PID control has higher control precision and smaller control error, and has good application prospects.

目的

为了解决电子机械制动系统中制动执行器与制动踏板之间无直接机械或液压连接导致无法反馈路感的问题,提出一种基于磁流变阻尼器的制动踏板感觉模拟器。

方法

以Ansys/Maxwell和Matlab/Simulink为平台,分别进行下沉式制动踏板感觉模拟器的结构设计、磁流变阻尼器的结构设计、磁路分析及电磁仿真,并在不同工况下进行了整个系统的传统比例积分微分(Proportional-Integral-Derivative, PID)及模糊自适应PID控制的仿真分析对比。

结果

仿真结果表明,该制动踏板感觉模拟器能较好地跟踪不同工况下的传统踏板特性曲线,适用性广;相较于传统PID的控制效果,模糊自适应PID控制的控制精度更高、控制误差更小,具有良好的应用前景。

目的

为了解决电子机械制动系统中制动执行器与制动踏板之间无直接机械或液压连接导致无法反馈路感的问题,提出一种基于磁流变阻尼器的制动踏板感觉模拟器。

方法

以Ansys/Maxwell和Matlab/Simulink为平台,分别进行下沉式制动踏板感觉模拟器的结构设计、磁流变阻尼器的结构设计、磁路分析及电磁仿真,并在不同工况下进行了整个系统的传统比例积分微分(Proportional-Integral-Derivative, PID)及模糊自适应PID控制的仿真分析对比。

结果

仿真结果表明,该制动踏板感觉模拟器能较好地跟踪不同工况下的传统踏板特性曲线,适用性广;相较于传统PID的控制效果,模糊自适应PID控制的控制精度更高、控制误差更小,具有良好的应用前景。

Objective

To solve the problem of no direct mechanical or hydraulic connection between the brake actuator and the brake pedal in an electronic mechanical braking system, leading to no feedback of road feel, a brake pedal feeling simulator was proposed based on magnetorheological dampers.

Methods

Ansys/Maxwell and Matlab/Simulink were used as the platform. The structural design of the sinking brake pedal feeling simulator, the structural design of magnetorheological damper, magnetic circuit analysis and electromagnetic simulation were carried out respectively, and the simulation analysis of traditional proportional-integral-derivative (PID) and fuzzy adaptive PID control under different working conditions of the whole system was compared.

Results

The simulation results show that the brake pedal feeling simulator can track the characteristic curve of the traditional pedal well under different working conditions and has wide applicability. Compared with the traditional PID control effect, the fuzzy adaptive PID control has higher control precision and smaller control error, and has good application prospects.

线控制动系统凭其高效、节能、响应快、布局灵活等特点正逐步成为电动汽车制动技术的主流发展方向。电子机械制动系统通过电子控制制动执行器来实现车辆制动,其制动执行器与制动踏板之间无直接机械或液压连接,驾驶员无法感知传统的制动踏板感觉。因此,有必要研发一种应用于电子机械制动系统的新型制动踏板感觉模拟器。该模拟器需精确模拟传统踏板的力与位移特性,为驾驶员营造熟悉且舒适的踏板制动体验,进而提升制动操作的安全性与乘坐的舒适性[1]
制动踏板感觉模拟器主要分为不可调控式和可调控式。其中,不可调控式感觉模拟器主要采用弹簧、连杆等元件,在设计参数确定后就表现出一种踏板特性。孙惠萍[2]设计的多阶弹簧式制动踏板感觉模拟装置就是不可调控式的一种。可调控式感觉模拟器可以通过调控表现出多种踏板特性。德尔福公司的ZEHNDER等[3]设计了液压元件与主缸一体化集成的制动踏板感觉模拟器。金智林等[4]提出一种基于单神经元自适应传统比例积分微分(Proportional-Integral-Derivative, PID)电磁阀控制策略的可调制动踏板感觉模拟器。CHEON[5]从橡胶的材料性能出发,通过替换不同种类的橡胶与弹簧组合来模拟多样化的踏板感觉。FLAD等[6]设计了一种基于同步电动机驱动的主动制动踏板力反馈装置,通过调节电动机输出转矩实现可调的制动踏板感觉模拟。随着智能材料——磁流变液的兴起,磁流变阻尼器在变阻尼调控上的应用逐渐推广开来。美国的德尔福科技公司巧妙地利用磁流变阻尼器产生的可控阻尼力,把圆柱形磁流变阻尼器应用到制动踏板感觉模拟装置[7]的研究上。王奎洋等[8]提出一种活塞式的磁流变液制动踏板感觉模拟器。於亚文[9]18-20设计了一种单盘式磁流变阻尼器,并将其用作踏板感觉模拟装置的反馈力执行元件,提高了踏板反馈力的控制精度,但其控制误差还有降低空间。
深入研究上述几种制动踏板感觉模拟器发现,大多数使用弹簧、连杆机构的制动踏板感觉模拟器结构复杂、计算烦琐且无法实现性能的可调节性;采用更换橡胶来调节制动特性的制动踏板感觉模拟器操作烦琐且模拟精度不高;应用液压元件的制动踏板感觉模拟器占地面积大且存在漏液风险。本研究聚焦于某轿车的电子机械制动系统,提出一种基于磁流变阻尼器的踏板感觉模拟器方案。通过设计下沉式制动踏板感觉模拟器来提高结构集成度,利用磁流变阻尼器产生的连续可控阻尼力作为主要的反馈力来确保非线性的踏板感觉模拟,采用模糊自适应PID控制来解决任意踏板感觉可调控的问题。为验证该方案的有效性,依托Ansys/Maxwell与Matlab/Simulink两大仿真平台,构建了仿真模型,进行了相关计算工作,并对该方案进行了分析和验证。
图1(a)所示为该制动踏板感觉模拟器的三维模型。其中,编码器通过弹性联轴器与踏板轴连接;扭力弹簧一端压在踏板下方,另一端固定在外壳上;压力传感器固定在踏板上;踏板轴通过超越离合器与大齿轮轴连接,可以实现动力的接合与分离;小齿轮与磁流变阻尼器同轴。该制动踏板感觉模拟器可下沉式放置,踏板下的外壳挡板起限位的作用。
图1(b)所示,在车辆制动过程中,压力传感器监测踏板施加力,同时,编码器捕捉踏板的角位移变化与速度信息;所采集的信号随后被输送至主控制单元,该模块处理完所收到的信息后为磁流变阻尼器提供合适的电流,以调节其产生的阻尼力矩;通过齿轮组的减速增矩作用增强该阻尼力矩并传递至制动踏板。当驾驶员松开踏板时,超越离合器将踏板轴与大齿轮轴分离,制动踏板在扭力弹簧的作用下自动复位。
图2为制动踏板受力图。图2中,P1为踏板的初始位置;P2为踏板旋转φ角度后的位置。在制动踏板从P1P2的过程中,忽略摩擦,假设制动踏板匀速转动,则其运动微分方程为

式中,TMR为磁流变阻尼器产生的阻尼力矩;i为齿轮组的传动比;Fp为作用在制动踏板上的踏板力;L为踏板有效长度;β为踏板面与踏板杆之间的夹角;mp为踏板质量;g为重力加速度;α为平衡位置时踏板杆与水平方向的夹角;CT为扭力弹簧的刚度。
设计参数如下:最大制动踏板力为500 N,最大踏板行程为120 mm,踏板有效长度L=180 mm,传动比i=4。在图2中,P1P2的极限位置旋转的φmax=38.94°,代入其他参数值,则所需磁流变阻尼器的最大阻尼力矩TMRmax=17.58 N·m。
由第1.1节得到的最大阻尼力矩设计出图3所示的磁流变阻尼器。在线圈未通电流时,填充在转子盘与外壳之间的工作间隙中的磁流变液表现出牛顿流体特性,从而产生极小的阻尼力矩。线圈通电之后,工作间隙中会立即产生磁场。磁流变流体中的铁磁颗粒瞬间吸引形成垂直于圆盘的固体结构,并产生较大的阻尼力矩。本研究中磁流变阻尼器采用单盘旋转式。
根据文献[9]27-29,总阻尼力矩TMR可表示为

式中,τy为磁流变液的剪切屈服应力;R2R1分别为工作间隙的有效外半径和内半径;ω为转盘角速度;η为磁流变液的表观黏度;h为工作间隙。表观黏度η引发的黏性力矩Tη受转盘角速度ω与工作间隙h的影响,但其在常规操作条件下通常保持在极低的水平。因此,在实际分析与设计中可以合理忽略Tη
图3中,红色虚线为磁流变阻尼器的磁路图,并根据磁力线的走向分为6个部分来计算磁阻。其中,①与⑤的磁阻相等;②与④的磁阻相等。

式中,μm、μ1、μ2分别为磁流变液、转子盘、外壳的磁导率;其他参数如表1所示。
磁流变阻尼器的材料特性显著影响着磁流变阻尼器的工作性能。本研究选用的磁流变液类别为MRF⁃J25T,其剪切屈服应力τy与磁感应强度B之间的关系为

式(3)表明,τy完全由B决定。
图4所示为MRF⁃J25T型号磁流变液的磁化曲线。由此可得到该磁流变液的饱和磁感应强度的外加磁场值,并进行磁路设计。
根据文献[10-12],对磁流变阻尼器进行二维电磁仿真,其中,线圈工作电流选用1.5 A。仿真结果如图5所示。图5(a)中的磁力线均形成闭合回路,说明设计符合要求。
图5(b)可知,最大磁感应强度出现在线圈附近的转子盘处,约为1.58 T,低于所选材料的饱和磁感应强度1.65 T。计算式(2)~式(4)得出,总阻尼力矩TMR=20.14 N·m>TMRmax=17.58 N·m,即磁流变阻尼器的转矩输出达到了设计要求的阻尼力矩。
本研究的控制策略如图6所示。首先,通过曲线拟合的方式得到某轿车传统液压踏板特性曲线的回归线方程;随后,综合式(1)~式(4)、文献[13-16],在Matlab/Simulink软件中建立制动踏板感觉模拟器的仿真模型。其中,在Matlab软件中的模糊控制器模块,经过多次调试后确定论域为[-10,10],比例系数kP、积分系数kI、微分系数kD分别为60、10、0.05。为了验证该制动踏板感觉模拟器是否具有可调性,对不同工况下的制动踏板特性曲线实施跟踪控制仿真。在确保模糊自适应PID的控制相关内容不变的情况下,输入紧急制动(BPCC 1)、常规制动(BPCC 2)及低速制动(BPCC 3)的制动踏板特性曲线的拟合方程,得到图7图8所示的控制效果。
图7可知,在模糊自适应PID的控制下,3种工况下的制动踏板特性曲线几乎都与仿真曲线重合。
图8清晰地展示出模糊自适应PID控制紧急制动、常规制动、低速制动的最大误差,分别为0.016、0.015、0.006 N,并且误差很快降到0左右,控制误差极小。
为进行对比分析,本研究将传统的PID控制方法应用于制动踏板感觉模拟器在3种工况下的踏板特性曲线追踪控制中。通过多次调试,确定PID控制器的比例系数kP=15、积分系数kI=0.5、微分系数kD=10。
试验结果如图9图10所示。由图9可知,在保持这些控制参数恒定的条件下,传统PID控制对BPCC 1的追踪效果较好。而对于BPCC 2与BPCC 3,该控制方法未能实现有效的追踪控制。
进一步分析图10可知,在追踪BPCC 2与BPCC 3时,传统PID控制的最大控制误差激增至60 N,显著影响了系统的整体性能。
综上可以看出,模糊自适应PID控制方法对不同制动踏板特性曲线的跟踪效果远远高于传统PID控制方法。这是因为模糊自适应PID控制方法能够控制参数的自适应调节,对于任意的目标曲线,模糊自适应PID控制方法都能取得很好的跟踪控制效果。
1)为电子机械制动系统模拟传统的非线性制动踏板感觉,设计了一款基于磁流变阻尼器的制动踏板感觉模拟器。该制动踏板感觉模拟器结构紧凑、制动踏板感觉可调、可靠性强且控制精度高,成功模拟了传统制动踏板的多种制动踏板感觉,并具有良好的通用性,可为线控制动汽车制动踏板感觉模拟器的研究提供一定的参考价值。
2)单盘旋转式磁流变阻尼器在电流激励下能产生连续可调控的阻尼力,这一特性使得所设计的制动踏板感觉模拟器能够成功模拟出非线性的制动踏板力反馈效果,从而提升了模拟的真实性与精确度。
3)本研究采用可以控制参数自适应调节的模糊自适应PID控制方法,该控制方法比传统PID控制方法的控制精度更高、跟踪效果更好,且面对任意的不同工况下的非线性制动踏板特性曲线均具有广泛的适用性。
4)与先前相关研究相比,本研究设计的下沉式制动踏板感觉模拟器考虑了其在驾驶舱的位置与安装,为后期实车试验做准备;采用的模糊自适应PID控制方法的控制误差较其他研究更小,具有一定的参考价值。
5)本研究未考虑到温度对制动踏板感觉模拟器工作性能的影响,后期将加深对这方面的研究。
