The potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in knowledge creation and innovation is constantly being explored and recognized. The multi-level process, main driving forces, and solidification mechanisms of transforming artificial knowledge into co-innovation ecosystem knowledge were studied, in order to seize the knowledge creation opportunities brought by AI to promote co-innovation. The findings show that artificial knowledge is gradually transformed into the operational knowledge of functional departments within innovation entities, the strategic knowledge of innovation entities, and the systemic knowledge of the innovation ecosystem through reaction cycles, catalytic cycles, and hypercycles respectively. The successful transformation of artificial knowledge relies on multiple driving factors consisting of human-machine collaboration, functional department collaboration, and innovation subject collaboration. The effective solidification of the process of artificial knowledge transformation relies on a creative learning mechanism that combines learning and unlearning. The findings provide a theoretical framework for understanding how artificial knowledge is transformed into co-innovation ecosystem knowledge, offer a new perspective for research on AI-enabled innovation, and provide managerial insights for utilizing the knowledge creation capabilities of AI to promote co-innovation.

人工智能在知识创造和创新驱动方面的潜力正不断被挖掘和得到认可,本文聚焦抓住人工智能带来的知识创造机会推动融通创新,对人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识的多层次过程、主要动力及固化机制等内容进行了研究。研究结果表明:①人工知识通过反应循环、催化循环和超循环逐级转化为融通创新主体职能部门的操作性知识、融通创新主体的战略性知识与融通创新生态系统的系统性知识;②人工知识的成功转化依赖于人机协同、职能部门协同和创新主体协同等多重动力因素;③人工知识转化流程的有效固化依赖于学习和忘却学习并行下的创造性学习机制。本文为人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识提供了一个理论框架,为人工智能赋能创新研究提供了新视角,也为利用人工智能的知识创造作用推动融通创新提供了管理启示。

人工智能在知识创造和创新驱动方面的潜力正不断被挖掘和得到认可,本文聚焦抓住人工智能带来的知识创造机会推动融通创新,对人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识的多层次过程、主要动力及固化机制等内容进行了研究。研究结果表明:①人工知识通过反应循环、催化循环和超循环逐级转化为融通创新主体职能部门的操作性知识、融通创新主体的战略性知识与融通创新生态系统的系统性知识;②人工知识的成功转化依赖于人机协同、职能部门协同和创新主体协同等多重动力因素;③人工知识转化流程的有效固化依赖于学习和忘却学习并行下的创造性学习机制。本文为人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识提供了一个理论框架,为人工智能赋能创新研究提供了新视角,也为利用人工智能的知识创造作用推动融通创新提供了管理启示。

The potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in knowledge creation and innovation is constantly being explored and recognized. The multi-level process, main driving forces, and solidification mechanisms of transforming artificial knowledge into co-innovation ecosystem knowledge were studied, in order to seize the knowledge creation opportunities brought by AI to promote co-innovation. The findings show that artificial knowledge is gradually transformed into the operational knowledge of functional departments within innovation entities, the strategic knowledge of innovation entities, and the systemic knowledge of the innovation ecosystem through reaction cycles, catalytic cycles, and hypercycles respectively. The successful transformation of artificial knowledge relies on multiple driving factors consisting of human-machine collaboration, functional department collaboration, and innovation subject collaboration. The effective solidification of the process of artificial knowledge transformation relies on a creative learning mechanism that combines learning and unlearning. The findings provide a theoretical framework for understanding how artificial knowledge is transformed into co-innovation ecosystem knowledge, offer a new perspective for research on AI-enabled innovation, and provide managerial insights for utilizing the knowledge creation capabilities of AI to promote co-innovation.

《中华人民共和国国民经济和社会发展第十四个五年规划和2035年远景目标纲要》明确提出推动大中小企业融通创新。2024年3月,习近平总书记在新时代推动中部地区崛起座谈会上强调,强化企业创新主体地位,构建上下游紧密合作的创新联合体,促进产学研融通创新,加快科技成果向现实生产力转化。实践也表明,融通创新已经成为助力传统企业转型升级[1]、促进新型研发机构孵化[2]与突破“卡脖子”技术困境[3]等一系列战略的关键。这一创新范式的核心在于打造一个开放、共享、协同、融合的创新生态系统,为知识的创造、流动与使用提供更加肥沃的土壤[4]。然而,面对日益不确定的环境与日益增长的创新需求,即便一个多元且互联的创新生态系统,仍然面临知识不足的挑战[5]
传统的创新生态系统(如传统农业、制造业和服务业的创新生态系统)知识创造主要依赖于人类经验与智慧[6]。随着智能革命的深入推进,人工智能等前沿技术驱动的新兴创新生态系统逐渐形成,如数字创新生态系统[7]和数字平台生态系统[8]等。以生成式人工智能为代表的大模型正在进入诸多垂直领域,为创新生态系统知识创造带来了新的机会[9]。在这些新兴生态系统中,人工智能不仅成为各子系统的重要成员,更成为创新所需知识的重要来源[10]。因此,本文重点关注人工智能产生的知识如何为这些新兴融通创新生态系统注入新的知识。按照Di Vaio等[11],人工智能产生的知识被称为“人工知识”。当前,在人工知识的实际应用过程中,因算法问题、数据问题等导致的组织服务失败、创新成果受损等现象屡见不鲜[12]。这展示出,人工知识若未经适当转化而直接引入生态系统,可能带来不可预知的负面效应。因此,如何将人工知识有效地转化为融通创新生态系统的知识,是当前亟待解决的关键问题之一。
目前,学者们已开始对人工智能知识生成进行了探索[13]。学者们普遍认为人工智能在知识生成方面拥有巨大潜力,衍生出人工智能创造力[14]、智能知识增强[15]等概念。在技术研究领域,学者们致力于探索提高人工知识生成效能的方法[16];在管理研究领域,如创新管理、战略决策、组织学习和知识管理等,学者们积极探讨人工知识的应用潜能和影响效应[17]。此外,越来越多的学者开始提醒人工知识可能带来风险与挑战,如偏见、幻觉[13]。这些风险意味着它不能直接作为组织知识使用,而需经历有效的转化才能使用[18]。然而,鲜有研究探讨人工知识的转化问题[10]。特别是面向融通创新,人工知识的转化需要跨越多个层次及组织边界,实现多层次、多主体之间的互动,其转化机理更加复杂,有待进一步探索。
具体而言,将人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识一般要面对与克服三大挑战。第一,人工知识在融通创新生态系统中的转化需要跨越职能部门-创新主体-生态系统等多个层次及超越创新主体组织边界,需要结合融通创新的主体特征考虑多层次的过程解构。第二,人工知识在职能部门-创新主体-生态系统等不同层次转化所需的动力机制是复杂的,需对各层次的动力因素进行深入识别。第三,人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识需要学习机制来固化,确保新知识持续融入生态系统。围绕这三大挑战,本文旨在通过理论探索来较为系统地回答人工知识如何转化为融通创新生态系统知识这一问题。本文借鉴了自组织演化中的超循环理论。该理论指出,系统的演化过程遵循超循环规律,即系统内各单元间的相互作用构成自组织机制,推动系统向更高有序状态发展[19]。融通创新生态系统中人工知识的转化机理与这一原理高度契合,即通过不同融通主体间的相互作用,实现人工知识向生态系统知识的有序转化,进而推动融通创新生态系统的持续发展。
融通创新被定义为以社会实际需求和价值创造为导向,通过资源融合互补、知识协同共享、价值共创共得而实现产学研、大中小企业、国有民营企业协同创新的跨组织合作创新模式[4]。在跨组织合作创新领域,知识一直是学者们关心的重点。例如,成琼文和赵艺璇[20]探究了创新生态系统实现跨领域知识融合的具体路径。辛冲等[21]研究了创新生态系统中知识共享困境的突破问题。Bereznoy等[22]探讨了跨组织知识创造与共享的相互交织如何助力创新。融通创新,作为开放式创新和协同创新的延伸和拓展,旨在有效融合不同组织场域内的不同创新主体之间的各类创新资源与要素,真正实现不同创新主体的知识在面向某一创新需求导向下的有效耦合[3]
创新的本质在于新知识的创造和利用[23]。观察人类创新范式的发展,可以看到知识行为的不断演变:从封闭式创新的内部知识创造到开放式创新的外部知识交换,再演进至协同创新的多元主体知识协同,直至当下融通创新的动态知识融合[4]。每一次新的创新范式的出现,本质上都体现了对有效管理和运用知识资源的更深层次追求。融通创新更加注重各个创新主体间动态的知识协同与实时共享[4]。当下,人工智能不仅成为生态系统中各主体的重要成员,也是新兴的知识来源[10]。探究人工智能生成的人工知识如何跨越组织边界并在生态系统中有效转化,将能有效结合人工智能的知识生成优势和融通创新的知识网络优势,助力开辟融通创新发展的新局面。以往的研究虽然指出包括人工智能在内的数字技术能够有效赋能融通创新等创新生态系统[24-26],但鲜有探讨人工知识如何转化为创新生态系统知识。
学者们日益强调人工知识转化为组织知识的价值与意义。在创新管理领域,人工智能被视为创新的创造者和推动者[27];通过扩展人类认知,如增强创新过程中的信息处理能力[28],进而增强人类智能[29]。在战略决策领域,组织正面临一个新的决策权委托选择:人工智能[30]。它的应用有助于减少人类有限理性的限制,进而减少战略决策的不确定性[31]。在组织学习和知识管理领域,随着机器学习的兴起,人类不再是唯一能够为组织知识库做出贡献的学习主体[32]。人工智能的支持在组织知识创造、存储和检索、转移及应用等关键环节均发挥着重要作用[33]。这些研究表明,人工智能生成的人工知识蕴藏巨大的开发潜能,突显人工知识转化为组织知识的价值与意义。
人工知识也必须转为组织知识才有价值与意义。学术界倾向于将狭义的人工智能划分为预测式和生成式两种类型[34]。前者可以基于数据进行预测,如为企业提供用户行为洞察、产品趋势分析或财务预算预测;后者可以生成新内容,如为各类人员提供创新的问题解决方案等。这两种人工智能生成的人工知识都具有数据驱动性(高度依赖于数据和算法)、高度显性化和结构化、内含风险性(如存在偏见和错误)等特征[13,35-36]。可见,人工知识尽管具有独特且重要的价值,但在本质上却不同于经验驱动的人类隐性知识。因而,直接将人工知识作为组织知识使用尚存隐患。而技术领域的学者们仍在不断追求人工知识的技术突破,包括但不限于提升人工智能模型的问责性[37]、增强人工智能算法的公平性[38],以及提高人工智能的透明度和可解释性[16]等,助力人工知识转化为组织知识。
人工智能正引领人类进入一个充满无限可能的知识创造新纪元[39]。在此背景下,无论是出于挖掘潜能的目的,还是为了降低风险,人工知识在进入组织和生态系统时都需经历一个有效的转化过程。然而,当前的研究在这一关键问题上仍显得相对薄弱[10],亟待加强和深化。
超循环理论(hypercycle theory)是由德国科学家、诺贝尔奖得主曼弗雷德·艾根(Manfred·Eigen)在20世纪70年代提出的自组织理论[19]。该理论将循环现象分为不同的层次:第一层次是反应循环,在整体上它是个自我再生过程,如图1(a)所示。在该层次,催化剂D(如酶)和反应物S(底物)先结合成中间产物DS(底物复合物),DS逐渐转化为DP(如酶产物复合物),进而DP释放出产物P和催化剂DD又参与下一轮的循环。第二层次是催化循环,在整体上它是个自我复制过程,如图1(b)所示。催化循环是以反应循环为子系统的自催化系统,能够不断产生或复制出自催化剂Di。第三层次就是所谓的超循环,是指催化循环在功能上耦合联系起来的循环,如图1(c)所示。在超循环中,每个子系统Ii既能指导自己的复制,又能对下一个子系统的产生提供催化支持[19]。简而言之,基本的反应循环构成催化循环,而若干催化循环构成更为高级的超循环。在超循环体系中,每个元素既能自复制,又能对下一元素的产生提供催化作用,且各单元之间相互作用,形成自组织机制,从而使系统向更高的有序状态进化。
超循环理论是从生物进化演变机理中研究得出的一种具有普适性的自组织理论。该理论对研究系统演化规律具有重要影响,其实践应用也逐步从生物研究领域向社会、经济系统等更广泛的领域延伸。现有研究主要集中在三个方面。一是主体间的互动演化行为,涵盖了企业与高校合作[40]、乡村振兴推动共同富裕[41]等。二是生态系统的演化,如数字创新生态国际化演进[42]、生态创新网络演化[43]等。三是知识行为的演化,包括知识创新[44]、知识转移[45]等。这些研究验证了超循环理论在社会系统中的有效性。
在融通创新生态系统中,关键参与者涵盖了企业主体(大中小企业)及其产业伙伴、知识伙伴,政府机构和创新中介机构等,共同构建了一个紧密耦合的生态网络[4]。在这个网络中,人工知识由个体进入组织,经组织内各职能部门的互动,进而经组织间的互动,最终转化为融通创新生态系统的知识。这一复杂的反应过程,正体现了一种超循环演进模式,即融通主体之间的相互作用推动人工知识在融通创新生态系统中的有序转化,进而推动融通创新的发展。
融通创新生态系统由企业及其产业伙伴、知识伙伴,政府机构和创新中介机构等主体构成[4]。这些主体又由他们内部的职能部门构成。而人工智能产生的人工知识通常由职能部门人员先接触到,然后沿着职能部门-创新主体-融通创新生态系统这一层级结构逐步转化为职能部门知识、创新主体知识、生态系统知识。
企业作为融通创新生态系统的典型主体,包括生产、研发、营销等职能部门。这些职能部门均可能部署与应用人工智能进而生成人工知识。相应地,人工知识会首先转化为这些部门的知识。对于融通创新生态系统中的高校、政府等其他主体而言,亦是如此。
Nonaka[46]提出的知识创造理论指明了知识转化的基本逻辑,即通过隐性知识和显性知识的持续对话与相互作用,实现知识转化、进而实现新知识的创造。根据该理论,个体知识沿着社会化(socialization,隐性知识的分享)、外部化(externalization,隐性知识显性化)、组合化(combination,显性知识的组合)和内部化(internalization,显性知识隐性化)路径,即S-E-C-I模型转化为组织知识[46]。在此过程中,人际互动是关键动力,推动个体知识向组织知识的转化,这构成了个体知识反应循环。
不同于以上的个体智慧驱动的人类知识生产,海量数据驱动的人工知识生产是人工智能对各种来源的显性知识进行合并、聚合和汇总的过程[47]。由人工知识的数据驱动性与高度显性化特征不难看出,人工知识的生成是从显性知识到显性知识的组合化(combination)过程。然而,人工知识内含风险,并不都是经得起验证的知识[13]。与人工智能直接交互的职能部门人员应结合自身经验对人工知识加以判断、验证再进行吸收、应用。这是人工知识由显性转为隐性的内部化(internalization)过程。职能部门内部通常具备知识共享和社会互动机制[48],在人际互动中实现隐性化的人工知识的分享。这是隐性人工知识扩散的社会化(socialization)过程。
最终,在职能部门内部扩散开来的隐性化的人工知识经显性化后进入部门知识库,以便重用,这是人工知识外部化(externalization)的过程。这其中每一个环节都离不开人机之间的深度协同。因此,在各职能部门中,人机协同发挥了动力的作用,推动形成人工知识反应循环(如图2所示),从而推动人工知识与各部门操作需求相结合,沿着组合化-内部化-社会化-外部化路径(C-I-S-E)转化为部门的操作性知识。
在此反应循环中,人工知识为流入底物(用“S”表示),在能与之相结合的催化剂(人类知识,用“D”表示)的作用下,沿着C-I-S-E路径,流出新的产物,即部门知识(用“P”表示)。人机协同作为反应循环的核心驱动力,不仅加速了人工知识的转化,还提高了知识转化的质量和效率。人类智慧和机器智能相结合,形成了强大的协同力量,使得部门知识创造更加顺畅、高效。
前述反应循环发生在企业、高校、政府等融通创新生态系统主体内部各个职能部门中。以企业为例,反应循环发生在生产、研发、营销等职能部门中,将人工知识转化为各个部门的操作性知识。例如,将人工智能提供的生产优化建议、供应链管理建议等知识转化为生产制造计划;将人工智能分析的技术趋势、产品动态等知识转化为新产品开发策略;将人工智能提供的客户洞察、用户行为分析和外部市场趋势等知识转化为营销方案。
然而,对于融通创新生态系统各个主体而言,它们内部各个部门之间并不是相互孤立的,而是相互联系、相互作用的。由人工知识转化而来的部门知识一方面驱动本部门的知识创造,另一方面也为其他部门的知识创造提供了催化支持,即具有自催化和交叉催化的双重特性。一个部门中的由人工知识Si经过C-I-S-E过程转化输出的部门知识可以成为另一个部门的输入(如图3所示),诸多相互作用的反应循环D1~Dn就构成了催化循环。各个部门之间通过催化循环形成相互联系、彼此依赖的网络。部门协同发挥了动力的作用,推动人工知识从各部门的操作性知识转化为组织的战略性知识。
同样以企业为例,营销部门可以将人工智能生成的市场趋势、产品参数和用户特征等知识,用于解决本部门的营销问题,也可以将之用于为研发团队的开发工作提供催化帮助,使产品或服务的创新和改进更有针对性,研发部门可以将人工智能生成的产品或服务知识,用于本部门新产品、新工艺的开发工作,也能将之用于催化营销团队制定更好的营销策略。其他部门亦是如此。通过各职能部门间的人工知识催化,企业的产品创新、市场扩展、人才发展、财务管理、供应链管理、客户关系管理等多个方面取得突破,知识数量和质量都实现了非线性增强。在主体内职能部门协同的驱动下,部门层次的操作性知识被不断吸收、转化和提升,最终转化为企业层次的战略性知识(如新市场拓展、新产品开发和管理优化等知识),推动企业主体知识创造能力的提升。其他融通主体如高校、政府和创新机构也是通过催化循环实现自身知识创造能力的提升。
超循环是多个催化循环相互联合构成的循环系统,即融通创新生态系统内的各子系统(如企业、产业伙伴、知识伙伴、政府机构和创新中介机构等)在功能上耦合起来,相互提供催化支持,形成一个超循环系统,推动形成协同、高效、融合、顺畅的融通创新生态。
图4所示,Ii代表各子系统的催化循环。由于单个子系统不可能拥有所有资源或能力,因此它们无法仅通过局限于内部的人工知识转化,持续进行创新和知识创造活动。在更宽广的融通创新生态系统中,创新主体协同发挥了动力的作用,使得各个主体的知识资源可以被广泛共享和利用,从而整体提高生态系统的知识创造能力。相应地,人工知识进一步地由各个主体的战略性知识转化为融通创新生态系统的系统性知识。
人工知识的成功转化是诸多动力因素共同发挥作用的结果。这些动力因素包括但不限于环境层面的混沌性与复杂性[50]、生态系统层面的互补力[51]及组织层面的能动性[52]等。然而,在众多因素中,协同贯穿于反应循环、催化循环和超循环全过程,是推动人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识的关键动力。
在反应循环阶段,职能部门内部的人工知识转化过程(组合化-内部化-社会化-外部化)皆需人机之间的紧密协同。主要表现在:多源的来自人与机的数据和知识是人工知识组合化的基础;个体的专业知识和经验判断成为人工知识内部化的前提;社会化过程中个体的交流与反馈促进了人工知识的共享与优化;外部化的人工知识则有助于个体知识的增强。因此,人机协同是反应循环的重要动力,推动人工知识有效地转化为部门知识。此时,人和智能系统之间的信任和协同意愿是重要基础。需要员工摒弃对人工智能的认知威胁和算法厌恶,将人工智能视为合作伙伴而非替代者[53]。在个体能力建设方面,除了专业技能的培养,还需要重视与人工智能交互和协作的能力[54]。同时,需要警惕个体对人工知识的过度依赖,以及可能产生的理解幻觉等认知风险[34]
进入催化循环阶段,部门之间的协同变得尤为重要。在各个创新主体内部知识网络中,每个节点部门均扮演着人工知识持有者、使用者与共享者的多重角色。此时,各部门之间的协同意愿成为催化循环的先决条件,需要高管在文化、结构和技术层面的支持和推动[55]。在组织能力建设方面,需构建高效的知识共享平台并组建跨职能团队,以降低各部门之间的知识协调成本,增强主体内部知识组合与网络协同能力[48]。然而,随着部门间知识交流的增多及知识网络规模的扩大,如何维护网络的稳定性及避免知识重复与冲突[56],也是这一阶段需要重点关注的问题。
在超循环阶段中,各主体之间(企业、产业伙伴、知识伙伴、政府机构和创新中介机构等)的协同作用愈发凸显。主体间的协同意愿构成了超循环得以推进的基础,而这有赖于政府政策的支持和引导[57]。在生态系统能力建设方面,需要打造一个开放、高效的融通平台以实现生态系统各主体之间的人工知识等创新要素的充分融通,从而创造融合型的协同效应[3]。然而,在此阶段,亦需审慎关注平台治理相关问题,特别是在如何实现主体间人工知识共享的同时,确保知识产权得到有效保护,以实现知识共享与知识保护之间的动态平衡[21]
固化是一种组织机制,通过将反应循环、催化循环、超循环这些人工知识转化过程有机地融入各层级(职能部门、创新主体和生态系统)组织学习流程,确保人工知识持续有效地转化为融通创新生态系统知识。如前所述,人工知识具有数据驱动性、高度显性化与内含风险性等特征,显然不同于经验驱动的人类隐性知识。因此,将人工知识转化流程嵌入各层级内部学习流程以实现固化,要求建立新的学习机制。“创造性学习”作为一种新颖的学习机制[51],强调学习与忘却之间的平衡,为本文提供了理解固化机制的有益视角。忘却,即有意识地放弃固有的惯例和做法,可以理解为观念和惯例的变革[58]。人工知识转化流程的有效固化依赖于学习和忘却之间的平衡,以适应当前不断变化的动态环境。
反应循环是人机协同助推人工知识转化为部门知识的阶段。在该阶段,各职能部门的成员需要注重个体学习与忘却的平衡。部门人员可以通过更新个人技能集以匹配人工智能时代的需求[54]。管理者应鼓励建立人机协同智能[59],将人机学习嵌入组织学习流程[32],定期组织人工智能培训会,也可以考虑将人机协同能力纳入员工绩效评估体系。这些举措有助于将反应循环有机融入部门学习流程以实现部门层次的固化,助推人工知识持续转化为职能部门的操作性知识。
催化循环是职能部门协同助推人工知识转化为主体知识的阶段。在该阶段,各个职能部门需要注重本部门学习与忘却的平衡。一方面,管理者需要在内部建立数据驱动文化,鼓励人工知识的共享,避免部门内出现知识隐藏、知识破坏等负面行为[60];另一方面,需要定期优化跨部门协作与沟通的流程,减少孤岛现象,打破部门间知识壁垒和路径依赖[48]。这些举措有助于将催化循环有机融入创新主体学习流程以实现主体层次的固化,助推人工知识持续转化为创新主体的战略性知识。
超循环是创新主体协同助推人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识的关键阶段。在该阶段,生态系统内的各个主体需要注重主体层次学习与忘却的平衡。该阶段不仅是知识转化的高峰,也是创新思维与系统解决方案的孵化期。一方面,需要各个主体构建社会资本,主动跨越边界进行知识共享,提升知识转移绩效[21]。在融通创新平台上实现不同领域人工知识的深度耦合,打破传统的思维模式和行业壁垒,提升人工知识的系统性应用。另一方面,创新主体需要建立新的融通创新组织模式,并定期更新与其他主体的合作模式,以适应不断变化的市场环境和技术趋势[3]。这些举措有助于将超循环有机融入生态系统学习流程以实现生态系统层次的固化,助推人工知识持续转化为生态系统的系统性知识。
本文探讨了人工知识如何转化为融通创新生态系统知识这一核心问题。通过对人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识的多层次循环过程、主要动力及必要的固化机制进行研究,得出如下研究结论:
(1)人工知识经历反应循环、催化循环与超循环的复杂转化过程,逐级转化为了融通创新主体职能部门的操作性知识、融通创新主体的战略性知识与融通创新生态系统的系统性知识。这一结论揭示了人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识的过程规律。
(2)人机协同、职能部门协同和创新主体协同分别是反应循环、催化循环和超循环的关键动力,逐级推动人工知识转化为部门知识、主体知识与融通创新生态系统知识。这一结论揭示了人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识的动力机制。
(3)创造性学习能够将人工知识反应循环、催化循环和超循环分别有机融入职能部门、创新主体和生态系统的学习流程以实现人工知识转化在各层次的固化。部门内的各成员、主体内的各职能部门以及融通创新生态系统内的各创新主体都需要平衡好学习与忘却。这一结论揭示了人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识的固化机制。
本文具有以下三方面的理论贡献。
(1)本文为人工知识如何转化为融通创新生态系统知识提供了一个理论框架。先前研究尽管广泛强调人工智能是知识创造的新源泉[14-15],但他们主要关注如何提升人工知识生成的效能[16]及人工知识的应用价值[17],鲜有触及人工智能生成的人工知识如何转化为组织知识、生态系统知识这些问题。人工知识生成的原理[35]与存在的风险[13]警示着人工知识并不能直接使用,而必须经历有效的转化。特别是在融通创新的背景下,人工知识的转化需要跨越多个组织层次及跨越组织边界,实现多主体之间的互动,其转化机理更加复杂,有必要进行探索。本文提出了人工智能产生人工知识后的新问题,在融通创新背景下对人工知识转化为生态系统知识黑箱进行了积极探讨,揭示了人工知识转化为生态系统知识的多层次过程、主要动力及固化机制,初步为这一问题提供了一个理论框架。
(2)本文为人工智能赋能创新研究提供了新视角。创新管理领域越来越重视人工智能对创新的赋能作用[27-29]。然而,以往研究多聚焦于人工智能自动化视角,揭示其如何为创新提供技术支持。例如,Bahoo等[17]的人工智能与创新研究综述显示,当前研究已广泛证实人工智能通过自动化促进了产品创新。这些研究对于理解人工智能的自动化赋能效应具有显著价值。然而,在探讨人工智能的增强赋能效应,尤其是知识增强效应方面[10],现有研究尚显不足。本文创新性地从人工知识转化的角度出发,即人工智能的知识增强视角,探讨了其对融通创新的赋能机制。
(3)本文促进了融通创新生态系统知识创造研究的深化与发展。目前对融通创新的研究主要集中在概念探讨[4]、前因研究[57]与创新产出[1]等方面。这些研究富有洞见,但在知识创造这一融通创新关键领域的讨论尚显薄弱。以往生态系统知识创造研究探讨了人类知识如何跨越组织边界并在生态系统中流动、协同与共享[6],但忽视了人工智能作为一种在不断发展的前沿技术,可以为生态系统提供源源不断的知识供给[10]。为此,本文探讨了人工智能生成的人工知识如何转化为融通创新生态系统的知识进而实现融通创新生态系统的知识创造。本文为融通创新生态系统知识创造提供了新的模式——人工知识转化的知识创造模式,也推动了融通创新生态系统知识创造适应环境动态变化特别是人工智能技术发展。
本文具有以下三方面的管理启示。
(1)企业主体及其产业伙伴、知识伙伴、政府机构和创新中介机构等都应认识到人工知识转化的价值,携手促进人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识。具体而言,一是在部门层面,融通创新各主体的职能部门应积极通过反应循环将人工知识转化为部门知识;二是在主体层面,融通创新各主体应积极通过催化循环将人工知识转化为主体知识,进而推动各主体借助人工智能进行知识创造能力的提升;三是在系统层面,融通创新各主体应携手通过超循环将人工知识转化为生态系统知识,进而推动生态系统借助人工智能进行知识创造能力的提升。
(2)职能部门、创新主体及生态系统应分别增强人机、部门以及各个主体之间的协同。具体而言,主体内各职能部门的管理者应通过激励措施增强员工与人工智能协同的意愿,通过系统培训提升员工与人工智能协同的能力,同时注意避免员工产生过度依赖、理解幻觉等认知风险;对于融通创新的各主体而言,应在文化、结构和技术等方面为各部门提供必要的支持,以强化部门协同的意愿,通过构建高效的知识共享平台并组建跨职能团队,提升部门协同的效率,同时注意防范网络失衡、知识冲突等风险;政府应积极发挥支持和引导作用,通过出台相关政策提升融通创新各主体协同的意愿,并打造开放、高效的融通平台,以推动各主体间的知识共享与协同工作,同时确保知识产权得到有效保护。
(3)职能部门、创新主体及生态系统都应积极推进创造性学习,平衡好学习和忘却。具体而言,主体内各职能部门可以通过更新员工个人技能集和变革绩效评估管理等方式,将反应循环有机融入部门学习流程以实现人工知识转化在部门层次的固化;融通创新各主体可以通过跨部门学习和内部流程变革等方式将催化循环有机融入主体学习流程以实现人工知识转化在主体层次的固化;融通创新生态系统可以通过跨界学习和合作模式变革等方式将超循环有机融入生态系统学习流程以实现人工知识转化在生态系统层次的固化。
一是,本文只是人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识研究的一个探索,未有分融通创新类型进行细化研究。未来的研究可以在本文研究的基础上进一步探讨不同融通创新类型下人工知识转化为融通创新生态系统知识的问题。二是,人工知识的成功转化受到诸多动力因素的影响,本文只是重点考虑了协同因素的影响。未来可以深入探讨其他动力因素的影响,如环境动态性、资源互补性或组织能动性等因素的影响,也可以通过组态研究探索多重动力因素的联动效应。
