In response to the demand for termite prevention in hydraulic engineering, this study constructed a predictive model for termite habitat suitability in Zhejiang Province by integrating the MaxEnt ecological niche model with GIS spatial analysis technology, based on termite census data from Zhejiang Province’s hydraulic engineering projects (2023-2024). The research systematically revealed the spatial distribution patterns and environmental driving mechanisms of termite habitats in Zhejiang Province. Through a dynamic screening process of “preliminary selection-contribution analysis-collinearity test-iterative optimization”, 22 initial environmental factors were refined to 14, achieving a model AUC value exceeding 0.963. The Jackknife test identified soil pH (6.0-6.4), annual precipitation (1280-1450 mm) and elevation (80-200 m) as the core environmental drivers most suitable for termite survival in hydraulic engineering. Spatial simulations indicated that the total area of termite-suitable habitats in Zhejiang Province is 40,300 km², with high-suitability zones (6 400 km²) concentrated in the hilly valleys of central and southern Zhejiang, medium-suitability areas (13,700 km²) distributed in patches in central and northern Zhejiang, and low-suitability zones (20,200 km²) covering all river basins in the province with potential diffusion risks. The research not only provides a reusable technical paradigm for biological disaster risk assessment in hydraulic engineering but also offers important references for formulating precise "one-reservoir-one-policy" prevention systems, guiding the layout of monitoring stations, prioritizing prevention efforts, and developing ecological barrier technologies.

本研究针对水利工程白蚁防治需求,基于2023—2024年浙江省水利工程白蚁普查数据,融合MaxEnt生态位模型与GIS空间分析技术,构建了水利工程白蚁适生区预测模型,系统揭示了浙江省白蚁适生区的空间分布规律及其环境驱动机制。通过"初选-贡献度分析-共线性检验-迭代优化"的动态筛选流程,将22个初始环境因子精简至14个,模型AUC值突破0.963。利用Jackknife检验明确了土壤pH值(6.0~6.4)、年降水量(1280~1450 mm)和海拔(80~180 m)是最适宜水利工程白蚁生存的核心环境驱动因子。空间模拟结果显示,浙江省水利工程白蚁适生区总面积4.03万km²,其中高适生区(0.64万km²)集中分布于浙中南丘陵河谷地带,中适生区(1.37万km²)呈斑块状分布于浙中北,低适生区(2.02万km²)覆盖全省各流域并存在扩散风险。本研究成果不仅为水利工程生物灾害风险评估提供了可复用的技术范式,也为制定精准防治体系、指导监测站点布设、划分防治优先级及研发生态阻隔技术提供了重要参考。

本研究针对水利工程白蚁防治需求,基于2023—2024年浙江省水利工程白蚁普查数据,融合MaxEnt生态位模型与GIS空间分析技术,构建了水利工程白蚁适生区预测模型,系统揭示了浙江省白蚁适生区的空间分布规律及其环境驱动机制。通过"初选-贡献度分析-共线性检验-迭代优化"的动态筛选流程,将22个初始环境因子精简至14个,模型AUC值突破0.963。利用Jackknife检验明确了土壤pH值(6.0~6.4)、年降水量(1280~1450 mm)和海拔(80~180 m)是最适宜水利工程白蚁生存的核心环境驱动因子。空间模拟结果显示,浙江省水利工程白蚁适生区总面积4.03万km²,其中高适生区(0.64万km²)集中分布于浙中南丘陵河谷地带,中适生区(1.37万km²)呈斑块状分布于浙中北,低适生区(2.02万km²)覆盖全省各流域并存在扩散风险。本研究成果不仅为水利工程生物灾害风险评估提供了可复用的技术范式,也为制定精准防治体系、指导监测站点布设、划分防治优先级及研发生态阻隔技术提供了重要参考。

In response to the demand for termite prevention in hydraulic engineering, this study constructed a predictive model for termite habitat suitability in Zhejiang Province by integrating the MaxEnt ecological niche model with GIS spatial analysis technology, based on termite census data from Zhejiang Province’s hydraulic engineering projects (2023-2024). The research systematically revealed the spatial distribution patterns and environmental driving mechanisms of termite habitats in Zhejiang Province. Through a dynamic screening process of “preliminary selection-contribution analysis-collinearity test-iterative optimization”, 22 initial environmental factors were refined to 14, achieving a model AUC value exceeding 0.963. The Jackknife test identified soil pH (6.0-6.4), annual precipitation (1280-1450 mm) and elevation (80-200 m) as the core environmental drivers most suitable for termite survival in hydraulic engineering. Spatial simulations indicated that the total area of termite-suitable habitats in Zhejiang Province is 40,300 km², with high-suitability zones (6 400 km²) concentrated in the hilly valleys of central and southern Zhejiang, medium-suitability areas (13,700 km²) distributed in patches in central and northern Zhejiang, and low-suitability zones (20,200 km²) covering all river basins in the province with potential diffusion risks. The research not only provides a reusable technical paradigm for biological disaster risk assessment in hydraulic engineering but also offers important references for formulating precise "one-reservoir-one-policy" prevention systems, guiding the layout of monitoring stations, prioritizing prevention efforts, and developing ecological barrier technologies.

白蚁是至今地球上最为古老的昆虫之一,距今已有2.5亿年的历史,因其食性杂、竞争性强,对建筑房屋、树木植被、水利工程、通信基础设施等具有明显危害1,常被人称为“无牙老虎”,是具有社会性组织的害虫。其按习性可分为木栖白蚁、土栖白蚁和土木两栖白蚁2。其中土栖白蚁习性偏好温热潮湿,常在水利工程内部营造巢穴,挖筑蚁道,极易诱发渗漏,甚至会造成水利工程的垮塌,严重危及水利工程安全。
浙江省地处亚热带季风气候区,温暖湿润的气候条件为水利工程白蚁的孳生和繁衍提供了适宜的环境。近年来,随着气候变化和人类活动的影响,浙江省水利工程白蚁的危害呈加剧趋势,对水利工程安全构成严重威胁3-4。水利工程白蚁极具攻击性和破坏性,蚁害治理难以根除5-6,开展早期预防措施更为经济有效。因此准确预测水利工程白蚁的适生区分布,对于制定科学有效的防控策略,保障水利工程安全具有重要意义。
传统的水利工程白蚁适生区研究方法主要依赖于野外调查和专家经验,存在工作量大、效率低、主观性强等局限性7。近年来,随着生态位模型和地理信息系统(GIS)技术的快速发展,基于物种分布数据和环境因子的适生区预测方法逐渐成为研究热点。其中,最大熵模型(MaxEnt)因其在样本量较少的情况下仍能保持较高的预测精度而备受青睐。
因此,本研究基于2023—2024年浙江省水利工程白蚁普查及环境监测数据,以实际普查对象为依据,研究的对象为浙江省内水库大坝、堤防工程、水闸在内的水利工程设施,后文用水利工程代指。利用MaxEnt模型结合GIS技术,构建水利工程白蚁适生区预测模型,分析影响水利工程白蚁分布的关键环境因子,预测浙江省水利工程白蚁隐患潜在区域,为浙江省水利工程白蚁防治提供科学依据与理论支撑。
本研究基于2023—2024年浙江省水利工程白蚁普查数据,研究对象主要为浙江省范围内水库大坝、堤防工程、水闸。首先,对浙江省11个地级市水利工程白蚁蚁害分布点数据进行梳理,剔除重复或无效样本点。针对一个水利工程有多个蚁害分布点的情况,选取危害等级最高的样本点,剩余样本426处,其中部分样本本身包含经纬度信息,其余大部分样本只有详细位置但无经纬度信息。无经纬度信息样本点使用地图软件获取其经纬度信息后参与样本分析。随后,以村级行政单位为最小单元,利用GIS技术和ENMtools软件设置空间距离过滤值为200 m,去除空间上重复或过于接近的样本点,降低空间自相关性,筛选后得到319个有效样本点。最后,将筛选后的319个水利工程白蚁分布点导入浙江省行政区划图,用于可视化分析,分布点见图1
研究考虑了22个环境因子8-11,包括1个土壤数据、19个环境气候数据以及2个地形数据。19个环境气候数据(bio1—bio19)通过全球气候数据库(https://www.worldclim.org/)获取,数据分辨率为30arc-second。土壤数据(土壤酸碱度,pH)从国家青藏高原数据中心(https://data.tpdc.ac.cn/)获取,深度为0 ~ 30 cm深,数据分辨率为90 m。地形数据(DEM数字高程数据)从中国科学院计算机网络信息中心和国际科学数据网站(http://www.gscloud.cn/)获取,数据分辨率为30arc-second。
利用GIS技术,在arcgis软件中将空间分辨率为30arc-second的DEM数据,以浙江省所有河流、湖泊、水库的分布数据为基础,在arcgis软件中将DEM数据转换成点数据,进行邻域分析得到距水体距离(dis)数据12-14
将以上22个环境因子作为初始建模使用的环境因子,详见表1
分析底图为国家地理信息公共服务平台(https://www.tianditu.gov.cn/)下载的审图号为GS(2024)0650的浙江省行政区划标准地图,底图未修改。
本研究采用依托Java语言构建的生态分析软件MaxEnt(3.4.4版本)、地理信息处理软件Arcgis(10.7版本)、数据分析软件SPSS(27版本)和ENMtools(1.0.5版本)。
MaxEnt模型15-18使用贡献百分率(Percent Contribution,PC)和置换重要性(Permutation Importance,PI)来表示每一个生态环境因子对模型构建的影响和重要性。贡献百分率是指每个生态因子的解释方差比例,贡献百分率越高,说明该生态因子在模型构建方面越重要,影响越大;置换重要性是指替换某个生态因子后,搭建成的模型受影响程度,置换重要性越高,说明对模型构建越重要,影响越大。
首次建模时,将筛选后的319个水利工程白蚁分布点和所有环境因子(表1)一起导入模型,选择自动特征(Auto Features),让模型自动选择适合的特征类型。将数据分为25%验证集和75%测试集,用于模型的训练和验证;设置最大迭代次数为106,以确保模型充分收敛;重复训练10次,以提高结果的稳定性和可靠性。计算不同环境因子测试增益(training gain),检测环境因子对水利工程白蚁地理分布的限制作用。在每次迭代中,记录每个生态因子的正则化增益增加,并归一化为百分比,最终得到各因子的贡献百分率(PC),并通过置换实验计算每个生态因子的置换重要性(PI)。最后采用重复训练10次的平均值,得到环境因子贡献分析表,见表2
同时MaxEnt模型是通过白蚁的分布点地理信息和相关环境因子估计水利工程白蚁的适生区分布以及潜在的扩散风险区。但是由于环境因子之间的较高多重共线性,会导致搭建MaxEnt模型的数据出现过拟合现象。因此使用SPSS软件和ENMtools工具对22个环境因子进行Spearman相关性分析,并绘制相关性检验热图。
图2中红色表示两个变量正相关,蓝色表示两个变量负相关,且相关系数越大,颜色越深。如果任两个环境因子的相关系数|r|>0.85,则认为两个变量之间存在强相关性。进一步结合两个变量对水利工程白蚁分布模型的贡献分辨率和置换重要性,保留贡献率和重要性更高的变量。
最后筛选得到14个环境因子,包括平均气温日较差(bio2)、等温性(bio3)、气温季节性变化(bio4)、最热月份最高温度(bio5)、最湿季度平均温度(bio8)、最干季度平均温度(bio9)、年降水量(bio12)、最干月份降水量(bio14)、降水季节性变化(bio15)、最干季度降水量(bio17)、最冷季度降水量(bio19)、海拔(ele)、距水体距离(dis)和土壤酸碱度(pH)。
获取的所有环境因子数据格式均为栅格数据集(.tif),需要先将其导入arcgis软件中进行掩膜提取处理,掩膜处理范围为浙江省行政区划底图,并确保掩膜处理后所有栅格数据的行列数均相同,然后将所有环境因子由栅格数据转换成ASCⅡ格式。
使用MaxEnt 3.4.4软件导入筛选后的319个水利工程白蚁分布点的地理坐标,然后导入筛选后的14个环境因子,启用响应曲线,ROC曲线和刀切法(Jackknife),选择刀切法来检测变量,输出形式为Loigstic,输出文件格式选择ASCⅡ。选择自动特征组合,设置25%的数据作为测试集,75%数据作为验证集。设置最大迭代次数为1×106,重复训练次数为10次,重复运行类型选择自助法(Bootstrap),即通过有放回抽样重新选择物种位点集合。
本研究采用受试者工作特征曲线ROC(Receiver Operating Characteristic)的曲线下面积值AUC(Area Under Curve,公式(3))来评价模型的预测结果准确度。ROC曲线是由假阳性率FPR(False Positive Rate)作为横坐标(公式(1)),真阳性率TPR(True Positive Rate)作为纵坐标(公式(2)),在不同条件刺激下受试者得出不同结果而做出的曲线,是物种分布预测模型精确度评价中认可度较高,应用较广泛的评价指标。

本研究采用刀切检验因子法(Jackknife)评估不同环境因子对水利工程白蚁适宜性的限制与影响。刀切法是通过单一变量贡献率(With Only Variable)和变量排除贡献率(Without Variable)两个关键指标评估环境因子对白蚁分布的影响,识别关键驱动因子19-21。其中,单一变量贡献率表示仅使用当前环境变量构建模型时的性能指标,反映单一环境因子的独立贡献程度,其长度与得分呈正相关,即条带越长表明该因子对物种分布的影响越显著;变量排除贡献率表示排除当前环境变量后,使用其余所有环境变量构建模型时的性能指标,条带长度则表征排除特定环境因子后,其余因子综合作用的效果,其长度与得分呈负相关,即条带越短意味着该因子在物种分布中的重要性越高。通过对比这两个指标的量化结果,可准确评估各环境因子对白蚁适宜性的影响程度及其在生态系统中的作用机制。
本研究采用MaxEnt模型进行预测分析,通过10次重复运算取平均值以确保结果的可靠性。将模型输出的浙江省水利工程白蚁适生区分布数据(ASCⅡ格式)导入ArcGIS 10.7软件平台进行后续处理。首先,运用数据转换工具将预测结果转换为栅格数据格式;随后,利用栅格分析模块对数据进行重分类处理。在适生区划分方面,采用自然间断点分级法(Jenks Natural Breaks)对水利工程白蚁生物环境适宜性指数进行分级,该指数取值范围为0~1,其中数值越趋近于1,表明该区域存在目标物种的概率越高,生物环境适宜性越强。
为评估MaxEnt模型的预测性能,本研究采用受试者工作特征曲线(Receiver Operating Characteristic curve,简称ROC曲线)对模型精度进行定量评价。ROC曲线下面积(Area Under Curve,AUC)作为模型性能的核心评价指标,其取值范围为[0.5,1],数值越接近1表明模型预测精度越高。具体评价标准如下:AUC值0.5~<0.6表示预测失败,0.6~<0.7为预测效果较差,0.7~<0.8为一般,0.8~<0.9为良好,0.9~1为优秀。
图3(a)展示了基于22个环境因子进行建模的白蚁分布预测ROC曲线。其中,黑色线代表随机预测的ROC曲线,其AUC值为0.5,表示预测失败;红色线代表模型重复训练10次后的平均值ROC曲线,其AUC值为0.885,表明模型预测表现良好;蓝色范围反映了10次重复训练的AUC值的标准方差为0.007,说明模型预测的可靠性较强。
图3(b)呈现了基于筛选后14个环境因子的优化模型ROC曲线分析结果。该模型的平均AUC值提升至0.963,标准方差降低至0.004,表明优化后的MaxEnt模型对白蚁在浙江省的适生区分布预测效果达到优秀水平,且具有极高的可靠性。并与首次建模的平均AUC值(0.885)相比,优化模型的AUC值显著提升,说明经过环境因子筛选后,模型的精确度和预测表现得到了进一步改善。
在MaxEnt模型运算过程中,采用"交叉刀切验证检验技术"(Cross-validated Jackknife Test)评估各环境因子对水利工程白蚁适生区分布预测的贡献度。基于10次重复训练的平均值,量化分析了各环境因子的相对重要性。如表3所示,土壤酸碱度(pH)、年降水量(bio12)、海拔(ele)、气温季节性变化(bio4)、平均气温日较差(bio2)、最湿季度平均温度(bio8)和降水季节性变化(bio15)7个环境因子的贡献率分别为21.5%、14.5%、11.6%、9%、8.5%、7.3%和7.0%,累计贡献率达79.4%,表明以上环境因子是影响水利工程白蚁分布的主导环境变量。
图4展示了刀切法评估环境因子重要性的结果。从单一变量贡献率指标来看,土壤酸碱度(pH)、年降水量(bio12)和海拔(ele)对模型预测性能的提升最为显著,表明它们对白蚁分布具有决定性影响;从变量排除贡献率指标分析,气温季节性变化(bio4)变量(为月平均气温的标准差×100,是一个无量纲指数,用来描述月平均气温与年平均气温的偏离程度)的缺失导致模型预测性能显著下降,这不仅证实了气温季节性变化(bio4)因子的重要性,同时暗示其包含的环境信息与其他因子具有较低相关性,在预测模型中发挥着独特的解释作用。
基于刀切法评价结果的分析表明,影响水利工程白蚁分布的关键环境驱动因子主要为土壤酸碱度(pH)、年降水量(bio12)和海拔(ele),其次为气温季节性变化(bio4)、平均气温日较差(bio2)、最湿季度平均温度(bio8)。
为进一步量化关键环境驱动因子对白蚁分布的影响机制,本研究绘制了白蚁存在概率与土壤酸碱度、年降水量、海拔和气温季节性变化的响应曲线(图5)。响应曲线直观反映了各环境因子与MaxEnt模型预测结果之间的定量关系,揭示了白蚁存在概率随环境因子变化的响应模式。图中红色曲线表示10次重复运行的平均响应值,蓝色区域代表标准方差范围。根据生态位理论,将存在概率大于0.6作为适宜生境的遴选阈值,得到各环境因子的适宜区间分别为:土壤酸碱度(pH)6.0~6.4,年降水量1280~1450 mm,海拔高度80~180 m。这些定量结果为水利工程白蚁的适生区划分提供了重要的环境参数依据。
将MaxEnt模型预测结果导入ArcGIS 10.7软件,采用自然间断点分级法(Jenks Natural Breaks)对水利工程白蚁适生区进行等级划分。根据适生性指数(Habitat Suitability Index,HSI)的数值范围,将研究区域划分为四个适生等级:非适生区(0~<0.2)、低适生区(0.2~<0.4)、中适生区(0.4~<0.6)和高适生区(0.6~1)。为统一空间分辨率并提高制图精度,对分类结果进行重采样处理,得到浙江省水利工程白蚁适生区空间分布图(图6)。
从空间分布格局来看,浙江省水利工程白蚁适生区总面积为4.03×104 km²,占全省陆地总面积的38%。高适生区(HSI>0.6)主要分布于浙中南的丘陵河谷地带,总面积达6430 km²;中适生区(0.4<HSI≤0.6)呈板块状分布于浙江省中北部级东南地区,总面积达1.37×104 km²;低适生区(0.2<HSI≤0.4)则呈分散式分布格局,覆盖全省各流域,总面积高达2.02×104 km²。这一空间分布特征表明,浙江省水利工程白蚁适生区具有显著的地域集聚性,且与土壤、地形地貌、气候特征等环境因子呈现明显的空间耦合关系。
本研究构建了水利工程白蚁适生区预测模型,系统揭示浙江省白蚁适生区的空间分布规律及其环境驱动机制:
(1)通过“初选-贡献度分析-共线性检验-迭代优化”的动态筛选流程,经过优化后预测模型AUC值提升至0.963,代表模型对水利工程白蚁在浙江省适生区分布预测能力达到了优秀水平,为水利工程生物灾害风险评估提供了可复用的技术范式。
(2)通过Jackknife检验得出决定白蚁在浙江省分布的关键环境驱动因子为土壤酸碱度、年降水量和海拔高度。各环境因子最适生态位参数为土壤pH值6.0~6.4,年降水量1280~1450 mm,海拔80~180 m。检验结果符合白蚁生物学习性,可以提升白蚁防治的精准性和效率,减少化学防治对环境的负面影响,以及为水利工程的选址、设计和维护提供科学依据。
(3)空间模拟显示浙江省白蚁适生区面积达4.03万km²,呈现明显空间异质性:高适生区(0.64万km²)主要分布于浙中南的丘陵河谷地带,中适生区(1.37万km²)在浙中北呈斑块状分布,低适生区(2.02万km²)覆盖全省各流域,存在向邻近生态区扩散的潜在风险。研究成果可用于指导水利工程蚁害监测点位的布设与防治优先级划分,并支撑生态型阻隔技术的研发,从而实现精准高效的蚁害防控与绿色可持续治理。
尽管本研究取得了一定成果,但当前模型所使用的环境因子主要源于天然生态环境,其空间分辨率与水利工程设施的局部微环境存在尺度差异,难以充分反映水工建筑的局部温湿度、土壤质地及地下水位等因素对白蚁栖息与繁殖的实际影响。后续研究将聚焦安装近地传感器获取更多局部环境的环境因子,并考虑水工建筑物结构材料对白蚁适生性的制约,以进一步提高模型预测精度。
