为精确测量全光纤电流互感器中保圆光纤（Spun Fiber）的圆双折射与线双折射之比，提出了一种基于不动点原理的偏振矢量测量方法。该方法通过1 310 nm波段连续波长扫描观测输出偏振态的动态响应，利用庞加莱球上偏振态点绕固定旋转轴运动的几何特性消除偏振轴失准误差，实现了Spun Fiber圆/线双折射比的高精度测量。实验测得，在1 310 nm波长下Spun Fiber的偏振矢量为 $n = [0.015 1 - 0.062 1 0.998 0]$ ，圆拍长与线拍长分别为93.347 mm和497.451 mm，圆/线双折射比为5.33，验证了方法的可行性与准确性。

This study establishes a high-precision measurement methodology for determining the polarization vector and the circular-to-linear birefringence ratio of Spun Fiber， addressing the critical need for accurate parameter decoupling in Fiber Optical Current Transformers （FOCT）. By leveraging the fixed-point principle within the framework of quaternion polarization optics， the proposed method identifies the intrinsic rotation axis of the fiber on the Poincaré sphere， thereby circumventing the systematic errors induced by polarization axis misalignment and the complexities of prior axis calibration. The research focuses on the 1 310 nm wavelength band to provide a robust physical basis for optimizing FOCT sensitivity and stability through the precise quantification of residual linear birefringence and inherent circular birefringence. The methodology is centered on the application of quaternion polarization optics， where any polarization-dependent system is characterized by a Jones-Mueller Quaternion （JMQ） whose vector part defines the polarization vector $W$ .

Utilizing an experimental configuration comprising an eight-wavelength discrete light source （1 284~1 318 nm）， an electric tunable Polarization Controller （PC） with 0.01 V resolution， and a high-accuracy Polarization Analyzer （PA）， the measurement process exploits the invariance of the output State of Polarization （SOP） when the input SOP is aligned with the fiber's polarization vector. During the direction-finding phase， continuous wavelength scanning is performed while the PC iteratively adjusts the input SOP； the polarization vector's orientation is confirmed when the output SOP trajectory on the Poincaré sphere converges to a stationary “fixed point”， minimizing the rotation radius to near zero. Following the identification of this vector， the magnitude of the birefringence is determined by shifting the fixed point to the Poincaré sphere's pole and moving the SOP to the equator via an output PC. By recording the angular displacement $Δ ϕ$ of the SOP along the equatorial plane during subsequent wavelength scans， the total beat length $L p$ is calculated using the variational phase-shift formula $L p = (L ⋅ Δ λ) / (λ 0 ⋅ (Δ δ / 2 π))$ ， where $L$ is the fiber length and $Δ δ$ is the phase change derived from the trajectory arc. The circular beat length （ $L c$ ） and linear beat length （ $L l$ ） are then extracted by projecting the synthesized polarization vector onto the Z-axis and the equatorial plane， respectively， enabling a direct physical separation of the two birefringence components. Empirical validation was conducted using Fibercore SHB1250 elliptical polarization-maintaining Spun Fiber across multiple specimens with lengths of 1.20 m， 0.80 m， 0.53 m， and 0.46 m to ensure consistency and repeatability. For the 1.2 m sample， the polarization vector was precisely located at Stokes coordinates.

Across the experimental trials， the average circular beat length was measured at $93.347 m m$ and the average linear beat length at $497.451 m m$ ， yielding a circular-to-linear birefringence ratio of $5.33$ . These results are highly congruent with the manufacturer's specified circular beat length range of 63~125 mm， verifying the accuracy of the fixed-point detection. Comprehensive error analysis indicates a systematic error of approximately $0.063$ ， primarily stemming from the discrete resolution of the polarization controller and the intrinsic measurement uncertainty of the analyzer. The random error was restricted to $0.002$ ， demonstrating the method's superior immunity to environmental perturbations， such as thermal drift and mechanical vibration， facilitated by the trajectory-fitting approach.

The fixed-point principle offers a physically intuitive and mathematically rigorous solution for the characterization of complex optical fibers， providing a significant advantage over Mueller matrix decomposition by eliminating the need for coordinate-dependent calibration. This methodology facilitates the high-precision decoupling of birefringence components， which is essential for suppressing zero-point drift and improving the long-term reliability of FOCT systems in high-voltage sensing applications. The ability to directly output the polarization vector and beat length parameters under varying environmental conditions establishes this approach as a candidate for the standardized testing of complex polarization-maintaining components. Furthermore， the robust performance of the fixed-point identification under broad wavelength scanning demonstrates its potential for broader applications in the standardized detection of non-uniform birefringence in advanced optical waveguides.

保圆光纤（Spun Fiber）是全光纤电流互感器（Fiber Optical Current Transformer， FOCT）的关键元件，凭借其独特的圆双折射特性在直流高压电网中，具有重要的应用价值和不可替代的作用^［1］。但Spun Fiber在拉丝过程中的旋转截距不可能为零，会残存原有保偏光纤的部分线双折射^［2］。研究表明，残余线双折射的存在不仅会破坏FOCT工作点的稳定^［3］，还会在环境条件变化时干扰法拉第效应偏振角，引发FOCT系统的灵敏度下降、零点漂移及长期稳定性劣化。因此，对于残余线双折射，或者残余线双折射与圆双折射的占比进行检测，对于FOCT的制作、安装以及运维具有重要的意义。

鉴于圆双折射与线双折射比测量的重要性，研究者进行了一系列的工作，并形成了多种技术方案。1995年，董小鹏等提出移动侧向变压力法^［4］，该方法利用侧压力引发的弹光效应改变偏振态以测量椭圆双折射光纤中的圆双折射，单弹光效应导致的偏振态变化过程复杂，难以对测量结果进行精准校准，最终测量精度受限。2010年，YAO X S等提出一种基于穆勒矩阵的测量方法^［5］，通过构建一个标准的偏振态发生器（Polarization State Generator， PSG）和一个偏振态接收器（Polarization State Analyzer， PSA），输入四组独立偏振态并反演器件的穆勒矩阵，再经矩阵极分解获取双折射参数，然而该方法计算过程极其复杂，且对于偏振态的测量误差高度敏感，微小的误差将放大双折射比的计算误差。2020年，胡浩亮等^［6］提出通过扭转椭圆偏振态保持光纤、测定不同扭转角的偏振态在庞加莱球^［7］上的运动轨迹来测定其穆勒矩阵，然后进一步确定其圆双折射与线双折射，但机械旋转的角度难以控制，仍难以提高测量精度。2022年，姚鹏辉等提出基于全自动二元磁光偏振分析系统（Polarization State Generator and Analyzer， PSGA）的波长差分法^［8］，结合可调谐激光器波长扫描分析偏振态变化来实现双折射测量，但其仍然依赖复杂的PSGA系统，且未解决偏振轴失准带来的系统误差。此外，尚超^［9］提出的基于庞加莱球的三点法，通过测量三个输出偏振态在庞加莱球上的坐标并拟合圆以确定偏振矢量，但是球面最佳拟合圆缺乏有效求解方法，即使增加测量点也仅能粗略估计，对测量误差的抗干扰能力较弱。

近年来，双折射问题仍然备受关注，其与光纤性能的紧密关联使其成为研究重点：非均匀弱双折射光纤中，双折射与非线性效应、色散作用影响非线性传输调控^［10］；保偏光纤的双折射调节能力与涂层应力、结构参数相关，关乎偏振保持能力^［11］；太赫兹光纤领域，高双折射特性的优化更是实现低损耗传输与高效偏振调控的重要支撑^［12］。这些研究既凸显了光纤双折射的重要性，也强调精准测量双折射的迫切性。针对此，本文提出通过测量不动点来测量偏振矢量，用以提升测量系统的抗干扰能力和测量精度。

1　理论基础

1.1　四元数偏振光学与偏振矢量

四元数偏振光学是一种用四元数描述光偏振现象的理论^［13］。四元数由标量部分（标部

全面描述了偏光器件或者系统的偏振性能，即偏振矢量。

在研究双折射的时候，常常使用双折射矢量的概念。偏振矢量与双折射矢量两个概念绝大部分是重合的，但是，在某些情况下二者有小的区别，比如模耦合现象。在导波光学中，模耦合与双折射属于不同的概念。但在四元数偏振光学中也将双折射矢量归结为一种偏振矢量。偏振矢量适用于一切偏振现象，而双折射矢量仅仅适用于双折射现象。大多数光与物质的相互的现象，都是偏振相关的，比如电光、磁光、声光、弹光等效应，因此它们都有自己独特的偏振矢量。

1.2　不动点测量原理

如前所述，偏振矢量的本质是描述器件固有双折射或偏振效应的参数，是由偏振效应本身所决定的，每种偏振效应有自己独特的偏振矢量，换言之，其它非偏振的因素不能改变偏振矢量的方向。因此，当输入偏振态

非偏振效应也会导致输出偏振态的变化，比如温度的变化、波长的变化等，它们都会导致输出偏振态

值得注意的是，输入偏振态

的选择是与坐标系有关的，这是因为斯托克斯参数的定义与坐标系有关，比如

等。但是，庞加莱球的两极（南极和北极）分别表示左右旋的圆偏振光，它不会因坐标系的选择变化而变化。所以当测定圆偏振光与残余线偏振光的比值时，坐标系的变化不会影响测量结果。这也是利用不动点原理测量的优点之一。

通过改变被测光纤的环境温度，或者改变输入光的波长，精细地调节输入偏振态，可以在庞加莱球上找到这个不动点^［16］。

1.3　拍长的测量

拍长是表征双折射的重要物理量，它的定义为，当光纤（或者其它偏光器件）长度等于拍长时，其输出偏振态等于输入偏振态。因此，拍长越长，则说明光纤的双折射越小；反之，拍长越短则双折射越大。普通应力型保偏光纤（比如熊猫型或者领结型光纤），拍长可以做到3 mm左右，椭圆芯的保偏光纤，拍长为30~80 mm（@1 310 nm）。椭圆偏振态保持光纤，由于同时存在线双折射和圆双折射，因此要用线双折射拍长和圆双折射拍长两个参数描述。在1 310 nm波段，圆双折射拍长在60~120 mm范围内；线双折射拍长在240~500 mm。而对于普通单模光纤，拍长是一个随机数^［17］，平均值在20 m左右，最小拍长在5 m左右。

上述关于双折射拍长的定义，可以拓宽至任意的偏振现象，也就是说对于任何偏振效应，经过一段光程之后，将重复到原有的偏振态。这段能使偏振态重复的长度，即为任意偏振效应的拍长

2　测试实验与数据分析

2.1　测量系统的设计

本实验构建了一套偏振矢量测试系统，用于测定椭圆偏振态保持光纤的偏振矢量特性，包括偏振矢量的方向和大小（对应于拍长），然后根据庞加莱球上偏振矢量在z轴和赤道面上的投影，分别计算出圆双折射和残余的线双折射，然后进一步测量出圆/线双折射之比。

实验系统由八波长光源、偏振态控制器、待测光纤、偏振分析仪和电脑构成，如图1。

1）八波长光源：多波长光源采用1 310 nm波段，鉴于目前1 310 nm波段的可调谐光源价格十分昂贵，且不能自动调谐，研制具有可调谐性能的多波长光源。多波长光源由多个独立的单波长光源模块构成，其中包括1 284 nm、1 291 nm、1 295 nm、1 300 nm、1 307 nm、1 310 nm、1 314 nm和1 318 nm的激光器，并将8个激光器分别连接到一个8×1光开关上。

2）偏振态发生器：为了精细调节输入偏振态，实验中采用了电动的可调谐的偏振控制器，其调谐的精细度为0.01 V，动态范围为

± 5 V

。因此在庞加莱球上的调节精度为0.062 8 rad。

3）待测光纤：要求尽量不受环境的干扰，输入端和输出端要紧固。

4）偏振分析仪：根据实际测量和厂家标定的精度计算得到，偏振分析仪的实际精度为0.24°。

实验参数设置波长范围为1 310 nm波段，环境温度为-20~80 ℃，需无振动干扰。

该实验装置已经进行了工程化设计，其试验样机的外形如图2。

2.2　实验方法与数据

2.2.1　实验材料及参数

实验选用Fibercore公司SHB1250（7.3/125）型椭圆偏振态保持光纤^［18］，其核心参数在1 310 nm工作波长下衰耗系数为0.92 dB/km，截止波长为1 262 nm，模场直径为6.4 μm。

2.2.2　1 310 nm波段偏振特性分析

1）偏振矢量的测量

通过电脑控制光开关使注入待测光纤的光波长（1 284~1 318 nm）发生变化；观察在不同波长情况下偏振分析仪上的偏振态变化轨迹；调节电动偏振控制器使不同波长下通过待测光纤后偏振态变化轨迹半径变小，直至成为一个点，该点即为不动点，对应偏振矢量的方向。其测量结果如表1所示。得出偏振矢量为

n (1.2 m) = [0.015 1 - 0.062 1 0.998 0]

，参见图3。

为进一步验证实验系统的稳定性及测量结果的普适性，对同一根光纤截取0.53 m和0.46 m长度进行了重复测试。测试结果为

2）拍长的测量

为了准确地测量任意偏振效应的拍长，采用如下步骤来实现：1）在被测系统的输出端连接一个输出偏振控制器，调节该偏振控制器，将不动点移动到北极；2）调节输入端的偏振控制器，使庞加莱球上显示的输出偏振态移动到赤道上；3）调节注入光的波长，使输出偏振态绕赤道画出一个大圆，测量这个大圆的旋转角度，即可获得偏光系统的拍长。其测量结果如表2、图4所示。

为进一步验证实验系统的稳定性及测量结果的普适性，对同一根光纤截取0.53 m和0.46 m长度进行了重复测试。测试结果如图5和6所示。

2.3　实验结果分析

通过不动点原理测得该椭圆偏振态保持光纤不同长度下测得的偏振矢量分别为

n (1.2 m) = [0.015 1 - 0.062 1 0.998 0]

，

n (0.53 m) = [0.040 0 - 0.079 5 0.996 0]

，

n (0.46 m) = [- 0.039 5 0.101 2 - 0.994 0]

。

根据测量得到的偏振矢量方向及不同波长下远离偏振矢量时的偏振态变化，代入式（7）得到该椭圆偏振态保持光纤不同长度下测得的总拍长分别为

L b (0.8 m) = 91.516 m m

，

L b (0.53 m) = 92.781 m m

，

L b (0.46 m) = 90.876 m m

，根据该光纤的偏振矢量计算得出圆拍长分别为

L c (0.8 m) = 93.457 m m

，

L c (0.53 m) = 94.247 m m

，

L c (0.46 m) = 92.338 m m

，线拍长分别为

L l (0.8 m) = 451.39 m m

，

L l (0.53 m) = 528.176 m m

，

L l (0.46 m) = 512.787 m m

，二者之比分别为4.829 9、5.604 2、5.553 4。对比厂家给出的技术参数，该光纤在1310 nm波段下的圆拍长范围为63~125 mm，三组测量结果均相符。

分析误差可知：1）系统误差，由于偏振控制器的控制精度和偏振分析仪的测量误差导致了整个系统的误差，误差大小

Δ ε = ε P C 2 + ε P C 2

约为0.063；2）随机误差，由环境温度、振动以及其它安装、连接等引起，多次测量的标准差大小约为0.002。

3　结论

本文针对全光纤电流互感器中Spun Fiber的残余线双折射与固有圆双折射难以精确解耦与量化的问题，提出并实验验证了一种基于不动点原理的偏振矢量高精度测量方法。通过理论建模与实验验证，该方法利用波长扫描（1 310 nm波段）下偏振态在庞加莱球上绕固定轴旋转的几何特性，直接确定了Spun Fiber的偏振矢量方向，有效规避了传统测量中因偏振轴失准引起的系统误差。实验结果表明，该方法成功实现了圆双折射与线双折射的物理分离，测得Fibercore SHB1250型Spun Fiber在1 310 nm波段的圆双折射拍长均值为93.347 mm、线双折射拍长均值为497.451 mm，圆/线双折射比为5.33。

相较于消光比法（标量测量忽略矢量方向）、斯托克斯分析法（坐标系依赖性强）及穆勒矩阵分解法（物理参数映射模糊），本方法具备显著优势：无需先标定光纤固有主轴，消除了光纤的偏振轴不对准引起的误差；通过轨迹拟合降低单点测量噪声影响，在宽温域及波长变化下表现出良好的鲁棒性；直接输出偏振矢量的方向与拍长，为FOCT制作工艺的优化提供明确物理参数依据。该成果不仅为Spun Fiber制造中残余线双折射的控制及FOCT性能（温度稳定性、长期零点漂移）的提升提供了关键技术支撑，也为复杂光器件的偏振特性标准化检测奠定了基础。
