The performance of direct internal reforming of ethanol as a fuel in a flat tube solid oxide fuel cell based on double-sided cathodes was investigated. The results show that the cell can operate stably for 100 hours with a power density of 0.137 W/cm2@0.8 V when ethanol is injected into the cell at a constant water to carbon ratio. A slight carbon deposition only occurs inside the cell. The structure cell can be applied for direct internal reforming of carbon-containing fuels, indicating a promising potential for use.

对乙醇燃料应用到新型对称双阴极结构固体氧化物燃料电池中直接内重整反应运行进行了探索研究。结果显示，将乙醇以一定的水醇比通入到电池中在输出功率密度为0.137 W/cm2@0.8 V下运行超过100 h依然保持稳定，电池内部发生轻微的积碳现象，表明该新型结构电池可进行碳基燃料直接内重整运行，具有较好的应用前景。

对乙醇燃料应用到新型对称双阴极结构固体氧化物燃料电池中直接内重整反应运行进行了探索研究。结果显示，将乙醇以一定的水醇比通入到电池中在输出功率密度为0.137 W/cm2@0.8 V下运行超过100 h依然保持稳定，电池内部发生轻微的积碳现象，表明该新型结构电池可进行碳基燃料直接内重整运行，具有较好的应用前景。

The performance of direct internal reforming of ethanol as a fuel in a flat tube solid oxide fuel cell based on double-sided cathodes was investigated. The results show that the cell can operate stably for 100 hours with a power density of 0.137 W/cm2@0.8 V when ethanol is injected into the cell at a constant water to carbon ratio. A slight carbon deposition only occurs inside the cell. The structure cell can be applied for direct internal reforming of carbon-containing fuels, indicating a promising potential for use.
