Fe_xMo_1-xS₂ with an expanded interlayer spacing of 0.75 nm was prepared via a simple solvothermal method. The larger interlayer spacing enhances the rate of Na⁺ diffusion during initial cycle. Fe_xMo_1-xS₂ as an anode for sodium ion batteries exhibits a high capacity of 285 mA·h/g at 0.1 A/g after 100 cycles and an excellent rate capability of 178 mA·h/g at 5 A/g. The fresh and cycled electrodes were characterized by in-situ X-ray photoelectric spectroscopy and transmission electronic microscopy to investigate electrochemical reaction mechanism of Fe_xMo_1-xS₂ during cycling. The results indicate that the irreversible conversion reaction of Fe_xMo_1-xS₂ with Na⁺ results in the formation of main products of Fe-Mo alloy and S.

通过一步溶剂热法制备了层间距0.75 nm的三元Fe_xMo_1-xS₂，扩大的层间距改善了Na⁺首次循环过程中扩散速率。Fe_xMo_1-xS₂作为钠离子电池负极在0.1 A/g电流密度循环100圈后可逆容量为285 mA·h/g，同时显示出较好倍率性能（5 A/g电流密度下容量为178 mA·h/g）。通过X射线光电子能谱仪和透射电子显微镜对循环前后电极材料进行了表征，分析Fe_xMo_1-xS₂在循环过程中的电化学反应机理。结果表明：Fe_xMo_1-xS₂与Na⁺发生不可逆转换反应，多次循环后生成Fe-Mo合金和S。
