With the development of radar towards high integration, high power, multi-function, etc., the antenna structure faces many challenges, such as high integration design, lightweight design, power resistance design and electromagnetic shielding design. Among them, with the increase of power and requirements of multiple functions (detection, jamming, reconnaissance, communication, attack, etc.), the electromagnetic shielding structure design is becoming more and more important. In this paper aiming at the strict electromagnetic shielding effectiveness requirements of a high power radar system with detection and attack functions, according to the structural characteristics of antenna array, the electromagnetic shielding design of antenna is researched in detail from shielding effectiveness distribution, telecommunication basis of shielding design, shielding material selection, electromagnetic shielding design of slot and hole structure, etc. The design strategy for improving the relevant shielding effectiveness of structure is verified to be effective by engineering tests.

随着雷达朝着高集成、高功率、多功能等方向发展,天线结构面临高集成设计、轻量化设计、耐功率设计、电磁屏蔽设计等多种挑战。随着功率的提升及集探测、干扰、侦察、通信、攻击等多种功能于一体的需求不断增多,电磁屏蔽结构设计的重要性日益凸显。文中针对某探攻一体的高功率雷达严苛的屏蔽效能要求,根据阵面的结构特点,从屏蔽效能分配、屏蔽设计电讯基础、屏蔽材料选择、缝隙结构及孔洞结构的电磁屏蔽设计等方面对阵面的屏蔽设计进行了详细研究。相关屏蔽效能改进结构设计策略的有效性已在具体的工程测试中得到验证。

随着雷达朝着高集成、高功率、多功能等方向发展,天线结构面临高集成设计、轻量化设计、耐功率设计、电磁屏蔽设计等多种挑战。随着功率的提升及集探测、干扰、侦察、通信、攻击等多种功能于一体的需求不断增多,电磁屏蔽结构设计的重要性日益凸显。文中针对某探攻一体的高功率雷达严苛的屏蔽效能要求,根据阵面的结构特点,从屏蔽效能分配、屏蔽设计电讯基础、屏蔽材料选择、缝隙结构及孔洞结构的电磁屏蔽设计等方面对阵面的屏蔽设计进行了详细研究。相关屏蔽效能改进结构设计策略的有效性已在具体的工程测试中得到验证。

With the development of radar towards high integration, high power, multi-function, etc., the antenna structure faces many challenges, such as high integration design, lightweight design, power resistance design and electromagnetic shielding design. Among them, with the increase of power and requirements of multiple functions (detection, jamming, reconnaissance, communication, attack, etc.), the electromagnetic shielding structure design is becoming more and more important. In this paper aiming at the strict electromagnetic shielding effectiveness requirements of a high power radar system with detection and attack functions, according to the structural characteristics of antenna array, the electromagnetic shielding design of antenna is researched in detail from shielding effectiveness distribution, telecommunication basis of shielding design, shielding material selection, electromagnetic shielding design of slot and hole structure, etc. The design strategy for improving the relevant shielding effectiveness of structure is verified to be effective by engineering tests.

有源相控阵雷达是复杂的电子设备,主要包含电磁与机械两大部分。机械结构是雷达性能实现的载体,对雷达性能的实现起着关键作用。随着雷达向高频段、高功率、高密度、高集成、高机动、高精度方向发展[1],模块内或模块间的信号干扰问题不断涌现,严重影响雷达的可靠性和稳定性。因此,近年来在阵面结构设计中电磁屏蔽设计成为众多学者关注和研究的热点方向。
随着科学技术的飞速发展和作战场景的深刻变化,战场环境不断对雷达提出新的需求,如探测精度高、作用距离远、反应速度快、跟踪目标多、侦干探攻(侦察、干扰、探测、攻击)一体等。这些新需求、新体制的提出,往往意味着功率密度提升、工作带宽增加、信号间串扰增强等[2]。例如,与常规体制有源相控阵雷达相比,本文研究的某探攻一体化大型雷达具有通道数更多、口径更大、集成度更高、单通道功率更大等特征,因此,通过合理的电磁屏蔽结构设计防止信号间的串扰及对外围设备人员的伤害就显得尤为重要。
基于这些新需求,本文从电磁屏蔽设计的电讯基础、电磁屏蔽设计原则、常见电磁屏蔽材料、典型电磁屏蔽结构设计等方面对阵面的屏蔽设计进行了系统研究。
电磁屏蔽指利用屏蔽结构或材料对电磁波进行反射、衰减、吸收等来减小电磁辐射场能量对屏蔽区域的影响[3]。屏蔽结构对空间某点的屏蔽效果可用屏蔽效能 (Shielding Effectiveness, SE)来评价:
式中:lSE为空间某点的屏蔽效能;E0 为未采取屏蔽措施时某点的电磁场强;E是采取屏蔽措施后同一点的场强。
一般认为,lSE ≤ 30 dB表示屏蔽效果差;30 dB< lSE<60 dB表示屏蔽效果良好,可满足常用电子设备的屏蔽要求;lSE ≥ 60 dB的屏蔽结构多用于屏蔽要求严格的高精度、高灵敏度、高附加值的产品。工作频段较低的电子设备的屏蔽要求也相对宽松,如工作频段低于 1 GHz的电子设备,其lSE>35 dB即可认为屏蔽有效[4-6]
电磁波传播到屏蔽结构表面时,一般有 3 种衰减模式:1) 能量直接进入屏蔽结构内部且被其直接吸收,称为吸收损耗A;2) 能量未进入屏蔽结构而是被直接反射,称为反射损耗R;3) 能量在屏蔽结构内部被多次反射,称为多重反射损耗B。结合这 3 种能量损耗模式,屏蔽效能可表示为[7]
吸收损耗A指发生在屏蔽结构体内且与电磁波形无关的能量损耗,该损耗仅与屏蔽材料的厚度、导电率等自身属性相关。因此用较高导电率的合金材料制作的屏蔽结构具有较好的屏蔽效能,设计中可通过增加结构厚度、采用高导电率材料等来提高屏蔽效能。
两种介质间阻抗不匹配是导致反射损耗R的主要原因。一般高导电率和低磁导率材料的反射损耗较大。另外,反射损耗还与干扰源的类型及干扰源到屏蔽结构的距离相关。
多重反射损耗B指透射波在屏蔽结构内被多次反射造成的损耗。由于低频段电磁波的波长较长,因此其多重反射损耗一般大于高频段电磁波的多重反射损耗。在雷达等高精密设备中,一般要求反射的电磁波尽可能少,因此研究高吸收、低反射屏蔽材料也是目前新材料领域的研究热点[5]
干扰源的电磁波主要通过辐射和传导两种方式干扰接收机。其中,干扰源与接收机之间通过结构件进行信号传导(干扰)是雷达中较为常见的电磁辐射形式。因此,电磁屏蔽结构设计需针对干扰源、辐射途径及接收机的抗干扰能力展开。
综合电磁屏蔽的电讯机理及工程经验,电磁屏蔽设计应参照如下设计要点[8-9]
1) 在方案设计阶段,总体指标的合理分配对提高电磁屏蔽效能至关重要。一般而言,当相同环境下的设备间的干扰信号与灵敏度阀值之差小于30 dB时,可不必进行特别的屏蔽设计。相反,若干扰信号与灵敏度阀值之差大于70 dB,则很难通过屏蔽设计来实现功能指标。因此,在方案设计阶段需平衡各分系统间的屏蔽指标分配,均衡分配指标不但可以提高系统的整体屏蔽效能,还可降低成本,提高可靠性。
2) 电磁屏蔽结构中的屏蔽体必须具有良好的接地性能。工程实践表明,接地质量对提高屏蔽效能效果明显。一般要求屏蔽体与地的连接电阻为0.5~2.0 MΩ。
3) 进行屏蔽结构设计时,需根据被屏蔽设备的工作频率选择合适的屏蔽材料。在工程上,一般在低频段下优先选用高磁导率材料,在高频段下优先选用高导电率材料。
4) 屏蔽结构间需保持良好的电连续。在阵面结构设计中,出于减重、电缆组件走线、散热通风、装配及工艺等需要,总会有部分孔洞或缝隙,导致屏蔽结构不能实现良好的电连续而降低屏蔽效能。
屏蔽效能与屏蔽结构的厚度正相关,还与电磁场的频率、材料的相对磁导率ur和相对导电率σr相关,因此在结构设计中应了解常用金属材料的导电率和磁导率。常见金属材料对铜的相对导电率σr和相对磁导率ur表1
进行电磁屏蔽结构设计时,选用的屏蔽材料既要考虑其导电率/磁导率,还需综合考虑安装的便利性、长期使用的可靠性等因素。为便于工程应用,专业厂家一般会先将表1 中的屏蔽材料加工成表2 所示的便于使用的标准屏蔽体。
某探攻一体雷达(图1)具有如下特点:1) 通道峰值功率达数千瓦,有源模块间屏蔽要求高;2) 通道数及设备量大,模块间干扰信号复杂;3) 阵面规模大,结构刚度及拼装精度要求高;4) 天线工作频段较高且集成度高,结构设计难度较大。下面以该雷达为研究对象,详细介绍大型天线阵面的电磁屏蔽结构设计方法。
在工程上,当结构间缝隙的最大尺寸接近辐射源半波长的整数倍时,其屏蔽效能较差。屏蔽要求严苛的结构设计需综合考虑成本及工程实现性,一般要求结构间缝隙宽度和长度不大于λ/10(λ为波长)。结构间缝隙的示意图和等效电路图如图2所示。设计时应尽量减小结构间缝隙尺寸乃至避免缝隙,以实现结构间良好的电连续[11]。一般缝隙最大尺寸小于λ/10时,缝隙对电磁波的衰减量≥30 dB。
螺钉不仅起固定作用,在某些情况下螺钉的间距还会影响某些有源模块的屏蔽效能,因为螺钉连接处可保证电连续且通过密布螺钉可减小安装面间的间隙。一般情况下,螺钉密度越高,屏蔽效果越好,但螺钉数量达到一定规模后,其对屏蔽效能的改善将不甚明显,且螺钉过多,不仅会给装配增加麻烦还会影响美观。因此,设计中需综合考虑结构的刚强度、屏蔽效能、工作频率等多种因素,合理布置螺钉,通过优化螺钉的布置,以最少的螺钉实现满意的屏蔽效能。当面对高频段的干扰且屏蔽要求严苛时,螺钉间距可取为λ/20[11];针对低频段的干扰,螺钉间距与波长相近即可。该设计方法多用在不常拆卸的功分器、有源子阵等模块上。一般这种螺钉密布设计可实现 60 dB以上的屏蔽效能。
本设计中将 8 通道的辐射单元与T/R组件组装成组件单元组合,然后前向装入阵面,因此该阵面的组件单元组合是前向维修模式。由于组件单元组合是现场可更换单元(Line Replaceable Unit, LRU),在实际使用中存在经常性拆装的问题,因此单元反射面间面临既要电连续又要便于拆卸的难题。本设计采用了如图3所示的结构方案:组件单元组合反射面间留有1 mm的间隙以便于组件单元组合的拆装,同时在各单元组合反射面四周安装屏蔽簧片来填平缝隙以实现电连续。采用这种方法,既能改善天线单元后方反射面的表面电流连续特性,确保不发生谐振、寄生辐射等恶化天线单元性能的情况,又能将天线单元的后向辐射等级降低 30 dB以上,避免整个射频链路出现自激励等故障。
阵面的后端设备模块需便于从后舱拆装维修,同时也需便于阵面馈线网络的检查。一般会设计维修门作为维修窗口,而在该阵面中维修门需同时具备密封和电磁屏蔽功能。如图4所示,一般通过在门上布置兼具密封和导电功能的硅橡胶密封圈或分别布置屏蔽簧片和防水密封圈来满足屏蔽和密封的要求。通过设计屏蔽性能良好的密封门,可以实现 90 dB以上的隔离效果。
阵面上有多处对接面,如面板与骨架的安装面以及分块阵面的拼接面。对于这种接触面积较大的对接面,若通过高精度加工来保证其电连续,则不仅加工难度和成本会增加,有时也难以达到设计要求。设计中一般采用如下结构形式来改善其屏蔽效能:
1) 采用柔性导电衬垫的屏蔽设计。柔性导电衬垫主要有导电橡胶垫(条)、金属丝网等。通过导电橡胶垫(条)在缝隙处实现电连续是工程中防止电磁波通过缝隙泄漏常用的办法。导电橡胶垫的安装方式主要有平面安装(图5)和沟槽式安装(图6)两种。平面安装主要用于一些装配精度不高且不常拆卸的对接面(如转接板安装面、无盲插对接要求的连接器),而沟槽式安装主要用于经常拆卸且对装配精度要求较高的场合。
不管是平面安装还是沟槽式安装,设计时都需注意导电衬垫的金属填充材料与安装基体材料间电化学性能的相容性。导电衬垫的变形量应介于保持衬垫弹性的最大变形和具有良好屏蔽效能的最小变形之间。对于沟槽式结构,一般需在设计前计算好衬垫的压缩量;在平面安装方式下,若要求精确控制压缩量且拆装一致性高,则需通过限位结构来约束对接面的相对位置。
2) 增大接触面积。通过增大接触面积也可提高屏蔽效能。常见的增大接触面积的结构有图7所示的2 种扼流槽。该结构一般可提升 10~20 dB的屏蔽效能。
该雷达具有几万个通道和较大的结构口径。为防止子阵面间的信号干扰导致阵面不能正常工作且影响故障定位,设计时将框架中各有源子阵栅格间完全封闭,组成栅格的结构梁接触面间用导电密封绳填隙,以降低或消除子阵面间的信号干扰。
在相控阵天线中,为了方便T/R组件及其他模块的更换和维修,大量采用盲插互连结构。相比一般的螺纹紧固的射频连接器(如N型、SMA型接头),盲插连接器(如BMA、SMP等)的屏蔽效果较差,容易造成射频信号泄漏从而导致干扰、自激励等问题的发生。如图8所示,在组件与馈线网络间的盲插连接器周边增加导电密封圈填隙,可实现各信号间的隔离。这种屏蔽方式在不影响快速拆装组件的情况下有效实现了信号屏蔽。
出于通风散热、减重、设备安装、电缆互连、冷却管路互连等需要,不可避免地会在阵面内开一些功能孔,这些孔洞会成为电磁能量泄漏的主要通道[12]。一般来说,孔洞越大,其屏蔽效能就越差。对于屏蔽要求严格的设备,其孔洞尺寸应为λ/50~λ/20[13]
为满足阵面上有源模块的通风散热、温度和湿度、盐雾等环境条件要求,一般会在结构上加工散热孔洞或风道及冷却水管的过孔。这些孔洞会成为电磁泄漏的主要路径,在结构设计上一般通过覆盖金属丝网、优化孔洞尺寸及位置来加以抑制。
(1) 覆盖金属丝网
在一些工作频段较低的设备上、在屏蔽要求不高的场合或在孔洞尺寸较大的情况下,可通过覆盖合适目数的金属丝网来提高屏蔽效能。采用这种方式,结构简单,经济性好且对装配要素影响较小。在低频设备上,该措施可提高约20 dB的屏蔽效能,但其对高频信号的屏蔽效果较差。
(2) 用穿孔金属板制作通风孔
金属丝网一般是标准件,其孔洞尺寸及形状一般已成系列,无法根据信号特点有针对性地开展设计。对于某些屏蔽要求较高的场合,可在满足通风散热要求的前提下,通过对孔洞的大小、形状和位置进行单独设计来提高屏蔽效果。
穿孔金属板的结构形式有两种:一种是加工带有孔洞的板并将它安装在屏蔽孔上;另一种是直接在屏蔽结构体上加工出合适的通风孔洞。穿孔金属板的方案与金属丝网方案相似,需在屏蔽效果和成本控制方面进行平衡选择。
(3) 截止波导式通风窗
金属丝网和穿孔金属板对高频信号的屏蔽效果较差[13]。对于工作在高频段且屏蔽要求较高的设备,可采用截止波导式通风窗。设计的截止波导的截止频率应为电磁波最高频率的5~10倍。由于截止波导式通风窗对低频信号的屏蔽效果较差,因此截止波导式通风窗与金属丝网和穿孔金属板在使用场景上形成了互补。本文研究的某大型阵面中的干燥机出风口就采用了截止波导式通风窗。
电子设备的显示器、某些控制设备的仪表盘等需便于检查,因此需在其安装部位开观察孔。为屏蔽此类孔洞的电磁泄漏,一般采用屏蔽玻璃等透明的屏蔽材料实现透光、密封及屏蔽。
电子设备的信号输入/输出接口及连接电缆是电磁能量泄漏的另一重要通道,且这种电磁能量泄漏不易被发现。为抑制该类电磁泄漏,需采用屏蔽电缆及屏蔽连接器。电缆组件两端的连接器内外导体的电连续及电缆的转弯半径对电磁屏蔽效果也有一定的影响。在要求严格的设计中,室内使用的电缆组件的最小转弯半径应不小于电缆直径的5倍,室外使用的电缆组件的最小转弯半径应不小于电缆直径的10倍[14]。对于各舱间的互连电缆过线孔的屏蔽,可采用转接板的方式进行电缆互连,该方法可提高约30 dB的屏蔽效能。
一些有源相控阵阵面的冷却管网的设计采用如下结构形式:子阵安装区域的冷却网络采用功能结构一体化面板结构,将冷却流道一体成型,在面板内实现与子阵的盲插互连;两侧再通过主水管分到面板上的各行列水道。采用这种技术方案,有时需通过方转圆的过渡件实现主水管与面板间的互连,安装过渡件的孔洞密封可采用图9所示的结构形式,既实现了冷却网络互连又实现了有效屏蔽,还节省了结构空间。
以上是天线阵面结构设计中为改善阵面屏蔽效能而采取的典型技术措施。这些技术措施应用在某探攻一体天线阵面中后取得了良好的屏蔽效果。
在对天线阵面进行电磁屏蔽结构设计时,需按先总体后局部、先顶层后底层的设计思路对各分系统/模块的屏蔽效能进行合理分配,这样既能均衡各分系统的设计难度又能达到较好的系统屏蔽效果。文中对某大型探攻一体有源相控阵雷达天线阵面的电磁屏蔽设计进行了详细研究,其研究成果对天线阵面的屏蔽设计具有指导意义。
