Multi-level converters are widely applied in DC microgrids because of their capability to reduce the voltage stress on switches and the volumes of filtering inductors and filtering capacitors. Since the flying-capacitance voltage and output voltage of a three-level Buck converter are coupled, the converter is a nonlinear system with strong coupling of multi-input and multi-output. To solve this problem, a decoupled backstepping sliding mode control method for inverse system is proposed in this paper. The inverse system method is used to decouple the output voltage control and flying-capacitance voltage control, and the backstepping sliding mode control method is used to ensure the stability and robustness of output voltage. The flying-capacitance voltage is balanced at 1/2 of the input voltage by the state feed-back control. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed control strategy can achieve satisfying steady-state and dynamic characteristics of flying-capacitance voltage and output voltage.

多电平变换器因其可以降低开关管承受的电压应力、减小滤波电感和滤波电容体积,被广泛应用在直流微电网中。三电平Buck 变换器的飞跨电容电压和输出电压存在耦合,是一个多输入多输出、强耦合的非线性系统。针对这一问题,提出一种逆系统解耦反步滑模控制方法。采用逆系统方法实现输出电压控制和飞跨电容电压控制的解耦,采用反步滑模法控制保证输出电压的稳定性和鲁棒性,通过状态反馈控制将飞跨电容电压平衡在输入电压的1/2处。仿真和实验结果表明,所提控制策略能使得飞跨电容电压和输出电压均具有良好的稳态和动态特性。

多电平变换器因其可以降低开关管承受的电压应力、减小滤波电感和滤波电容体积,被广泛应用在直流微电网中。三电平Buck 变换器的飞跨电容电压和输出电压存在耦合,是一个多输入多输出、强耦合的非线性系统。针对这一问题,提出一种逆系统解耦反步滑模控制方法。采用逆系统方法实现输出电压控制和飞跨电容电压控制的解耦,采用反步滑模法控制保证输出电压的稳定性和鲁棒性,通过状态反馈控制将飞跨电容电压平衡在输入电压的1/2处。仿真和实验结果表明,所提控制策略能使得飞跨电容电压和输出电压均具有良好的稳态和动态特性。

Multi-level converters are widely applied in DC microgrids because of their capability to reduce the voltage stress on switches and the volumes of filtering inductors and filtering capacitors. Since the flying-capacitance voltage and output voltage of a three-level Buck converter are coupled, the converter is a nonlinear system with strong coupling of multi-input and multi-output. To solve this problem, a decoupled backstepping sliding mode control method for inverse system is proposed in this paper. The inverse system method is used to decouple the output voltage control and flying-capacitance voltage control, and the backstepping sliding mode control method is used to ensure the stability and robustness of output voltage. The flying-capacitance voltage is balanced at 1/2 of the input voltage by the state feed-back control. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed control strategy can achieve satisfying steady-state and dynamic characteristics of flying-capacitance voltage and output voltage.

为了能充分、高效开发和利用风能、太阳能等新能源, 对实现能源转换的电力电子变换器提出更高的要求。传统变换器通过开关管串并联来适用于中大功率场合, 面临高输入电流、高器件电压额定值以及严重的电磁干扰问题。多电平变换器通过基本拓扑的组合,降低开关电压应力、改善电能质量、 提高电路效率,已经被广泛应用在新能源领域[1]。针对多电平$\mathrm{{DC}}- \mathrm{{DC}}$ 变换器,国内外学者展开大量研究,文献[2]提出了隔离型三电平拓扑。文献[3]提出了通过控制信号的移相来改善变换器的动态性能, 并分析其暂态特性。文献[4]提出了零电压开关三电平多谐振变换器。文献[5]提出了多电平多输出 Buck 变换器。多电平 DC-DC Buck 变换器相较于两电平 DC-DC Buck 变换器具有减小开关管电压应力、有效开关频率加倍、更小的滤波电感和滤波电容体积等优点[6]
多电平 DC-DC 变换器的正常工作依赖于飞跨电容电压的稳定。文献[7]指出飞跨电容具有自动平衡特性, 此特性取决于开关函数谐波和负载条件。 文献[8]采用额外的 RLC 电路增强飞跨电容电压的平衡能力。但是实际应用中, MOSFET 存在一些寄生参数而且驱动电路特性也存在不一致性, 导致飞跨电容电压即使稳定但也偏离了期望值, 造成开关管电压应力不均、输出波形恶化等问题。
针对多电平变换器的控制问题, 研究人员提出大量算法。文献[9]采用谷值电流模式控制方法, 但在输出电压较小时会出现电感电流的振荡。文献 [10]提出了冗余模态控制, 对飞跨电容电压的控制有充电、放电、保持 3 种模态, 通过模态切换来平衡飞跨电容电压。文献[11]提出移相 SPWM 控制的电压均衡控制策略。文献[12]为抑制飞跨电容电压纹波,提出了变开关频率移相 PWM。文献[13]对多电平 Buck 变换器提出了等效滑模控制方法, 减少对参数变化和负载扰动的敏感性。文献[14]对三电平 Buck 变换器提出了基于二阶滑模控制的状态机控制器。文献[15]引入李导数计算将非线性方程线性化, 实现飞跨电容电压和输出电流的互相解耦, 然后设计控制器可以分别对输出电压和飞跨电容电压实现控制。文献[16]将输入分为占空比${d}_{i}$ 和占空扰动$\Delta {d}_{i}$,构造解耦矩阵,通过微调$\Delta {d}_{i}$ 来控制飞跨电容电压稳定,保证扰动项之和为 0,从而不影响输出电压的稳定。文献[17]对$p + 1$ 电平 Buck 变换器采用逆系统解耦控制方法,将系统解耦补偿为$p$ 个伪线性子系统,对各个伪线性子系统分别采用$\mathrm{{LQR}}$ 最优控制器,实现飞跨电容电压和输出电压的解耦控制。文献[18]分析三电平 Boost 变换器的飞跨电容电压和输出电压的耦合效果, 并提出线性解耦的方法。文献[19]将文献[18]的方法应用到四电平 Boost 变换器上。
本文针对三电平 Buck 电路提出一种解耦鲁棒控制算法, 采用逆系统方法构造逆系统方程, 实现飞跨电容电压和输出电压解耦, 在此基础上设计反步滑模控制器保证输出电压的鲁棒性,同时设计状态反馈控制器将飞跨电容电压平衡在输入电压的$1/2$ 处。
图1 为三电平 Buck 电路。${\mathrm{Q}}_{1}$${\mathrm{Q}}_{2}$ 为开关管,${\mathrm{D}}_{1}$${\mathrm{D}}_{2}$ 为二极管,${C}_{1}$ 为飞跨电容,${L}_{\mathrm{f}}$ 为滤波电感,${C}_{\mathrm{f}}$ 为滤波电容。
由开关管和二极管组成开关网络, 因其能输出${v}_{\mathrm{{in}}}$${v}_{\mathrm{{in}}}/2$ 、 0 三种电平,所以称为三电平变换器。开关管采用交错相位相差${180}^{\circ }$ 导通。稳态时飞跨电容电压稳定在${v}_{\mathrm{{in}}}/2$。三电平 Buck 变换器有 2 种工作模式,第一种工作模式为$d <{0.5}$,此模式下 2 个开关管不存在同时导通的情况,此时开关网络输出${v}_{\mathrm{{AB}}}$ 为 0 或${v}_{\mathrm{{in}}}/2$; 第二种工作模式为$d >{0.5}$,此时开关网络输出${v}_{\mathrm{{AB}}}$${v}_{\mathrm{{in}}}/2$${v}_{\mathrm{{in}}}$。脉动频率为$2{f}_{\mathrm{s}}$。随着电平数的增加, 电感电流的脉动波动量会越来越小, 若保持电感脉动和电压脉动不变, 三电平 Buck 相对于传统 Buck 而言,滤波电感量为$1/4$,滤波电容量为$1/{2}^{\left\lbrack {20}\right\rbrack }$
三电平 Buck 变换器是以占空比${d}_{1}$${d}_{2}$ 为输入,飞跨电容电压${v}_{{c}_{1}}$ 和输出电压${v}_{0}$ 为输出的多输入多输出系统。一个开关周期内流过${\mathrm{Q}}_{k}\left({k = 1,2}\right)$ 的电流和电压平均值为${i}_{{\mathrm{Q}}_{k}}= {i}_{{L}_{l}}{d}_{k},{v}_{{\mathrm{Q}}_{1}}= {v}_{{C}_{1}}\left({1 -{d}_{1}}\right)$${v}_{{\mathrm{Q}}_{2}}= \left({{v}_{\text{in }}- {v}_{{C}_{1}}}\right)$ .$\left({1 -{d}_{2}}\right)$,取${v}_{{c}_{1}}$${i}_{{L}_{i}}$${v}_{0}$ 为状态变量,建立三电平 Buck 变换器的状态空间平均模型

系统式(1)是一个强耦合的多输入多输出非线性系统。所以需要对其进行解耦控制。
解耦的目的是实现每个控制指令信号对一个且只有一个输出有控制作用。对于可逆的多变量非线性系统,可以用逆系统方法设计成具有解耦性质的$\alpha$ 阶伪线性系统[21]。假设给定的多输入多输出系统$\sum$

将逆系统方法应用于三电平 Buck 变换器。为其构造逆系统,需要对输出向量进行求导,直至其显含控制变量。对${v}_{{c}_{1}}$ 求其一阶导数,对${v}_{0}$ 求其二阶导数, 得到

由逆系统与原系统共同构成伪线性系统,在新的控制输入${\left\lbrack {\varphi }_{1},{\varphi }_{2}\right\rbrack }^{\mathrm{T}}$ 下建立的伪线性系统的传递函数为

通过逆系统解耦, 多输入多输出强耦合的三电平 Buck 变换器系统被解耦成一个一阶纯积分线性子系统和一个二阶积分线性子系统。可以分别对 2 个子系统设计控制器, 再利用式(5)计算得到原系统的控制输入${\left\lbrack {d}_{1},{d}_{2}\right\rbrack }^{\mathrm{T}}$
三电平 Buck 变换器控制系统有 2 个控制目标:其一是平衡飞跨电容电压在输入电压的二分之一处;其二是将输出电压稳定在设定值。通过逆系统方法实现了飞跨电容和输出电压的解耦。飞跨电容电压${v}_{{c}_{1}}$${\varphi }_{1}$ 控制,输出电压${v}_{0}$${\varphi }_{2}$ 控制。本文对子系统式(6)采用状态反馈控制方法设计控制律, 对子系统式 (7) 采用反步滑模控制方法设计控制律。然后经过解耦矩阵得到${d}_{1}$${d}_{2}$,而后生成 PWM 信号分别控制开关管${\mathrm{Q}}_{1}\text{、}{\mathrm{Q}}_{2}$。控制系统结构如图3 所示。
对于子系统式 (6), 引入控制律

其闭环传递函数为

$k > 0$ 时,则系统极点在左半平面,系统稳定可以通过改变$k$ 值改变极点配置。
三电平 Buck 变换器的飞跨电容有一定的自平衡力, 仅用状态反馈控制就可以达到预期的效果, 但是对于输出电压控制目标需要更好的鲁棒性。由于三电平 Buck 变换器运行中滤波电感和滤波电容的值会有微小变化、负载也会随着时间变化、传感器存在噪声、所建立的数学模型存在未建模动态等原因,传统的反步法无法保证系统鲁棒性。在反步法后引入滑模项, 可克服干扰, 提高控制器鲁棒性。 本文提出采用反步滑模法控制输出电压。
考虑到诸多不确定因素, 引入扰动项, 将子系统模型式(7)改写成

反步法将复杂系统分解成多个子系统,为每个子系统设计虚拟控制量和 Lyapunov 函数, 通过构造 Lyapunov 函数法设计其控制律。反步法由前往后递推, 每一步都要设计一个 Lyapunov 镇定函数, 逐步修正算法调整控制器,实现系统全局稳定[22]
首先要设计总的控制目标。设${z}_{\mathrm{d}}$ 为输出电压的参考值${v}_{\text{oref }}$,定义跟踪误差${e}_{1}$ 及其导数为

为了验证所提出的控制方法的正确性, 利用 Simulink 仿真平台对控制系统进行了仿真。系统参数分别为输入电压${50}\mathrm{\;V}$,输出电压${30}\mathrm{\;V}$,滤波电容${C}_{\mathrm{f}}$${97\mu }\mathrm{F}$,滤波电感${L}_{\mathrm{f}}$${100\mu }\mathrm{H}$,飞跨电容${C}_{1}$${100\mu }\mathrm{F}$,开关频率${f}_{\mathrm{s}}$${50}\mathrm{{kHz}}$,负载电阻$R$${20\Omega }$。反步滑模控制参数${c}_{1}$${22000}, h$ 为 12000,$\alpha$${900000},\beta$ 为900000; 飞跨电容反馈增益$k$ 为 40000。为验证控制效果, 与解耦 PI 控制系统进行了对比实验。由于$\mathrm{{PI}}$ 参数的选择对系统的稳定性和动态性能存在影响, 各个控制环路的频率带宽通常选择为开关频率的 1/2 到 1/10, 相位裕度选择在${45}^{\circ }$ 左右。线性解耦 PI 控制系统的 2 个子系统均采用$\mathrm{{PI}}$ 控制器。飞跨电容环路输出电压环路${k}_{\mathrm{{pl}}}=$ ${400},{k}_{\mathrm{i}1}= {800}$。输出电压环路${k}_{\mathrm{p}2}= {200},{k}_{\mathrm{i}2}= {1000}$
为验证所提出的控制策略跟踪参考电压的变化能力,对所提出的控制策略和线性解耦$\mathrm{{PI}}$ 控制方法分别进行了仿真。图4 给出了参考电压在${0.1}\mathrm{\;s}$ 时从${30}\mathrm{\;V}$ 下降至${20}\mathrm{\;V}$,在${0.2}\mathrm{\;s}$ 时再从${20}\mathrm{\;V}$ 上升至${30}\mathrm{\;V}$ 系统的动态响应波形。2 种算法均保证了飞跨电容电压平衡在输入电压的$1/2$,所提出的控制策略可以获得更小的电压波动和恢复时间。在${0.2}\mathrm{\;s}$ 时,参考电压由${20}\mathrm{\;V}$ 跳变为${30}\mathrm{\;V}$ 时,在线性解耦$\mathrm{{PI}}$ 算法下, 输出电压存在严重的过冲现象; 而反步滑模算法下, 输出电压能平滑地跟踪参考电压。
为验证所提出控制策略的鲁棒性, 在负载电阻变化下,对所提控制策略和线性解耦$\mathrm{{PI}}$ 控制方法进行了仿真。图5 给出了负载电阻在${0.1}\mathrm{\;s}$ 时从${20\Omega }$ 降至${10\Omega }$,在${0.2}\mathrm{\;s}$ 时再从${10\Omega }$ 升至${20\Omega }$ 系统的动态响应波形。2 种算法均可使得飞跨电容电压平衡和输出电压稳定。在负载电阻变化时, 在线性解耦 PI 算法下, 输出电压出现了明显的振荡过程, 输出电压值存在幅值为$1\mathrm{\;V}$ 的波动,而在逆系统解耦反步滑模算法下电压幅值波动值为${0.1}\mathrm{\;V}$。说明逆系统解耦反步滑模算法使得系统在负载扰动下具有更好的动态响应和抗干扰能力。
为了验证所提出的控制策略可以平衡飞跨电容电压,对输入电压变化时系统的动态响应进行仿真。图6 给出了输入电压在${0.1}\mathrm{\;s}$ 时从${50}\mathrm{\;V}$ 升至${75}\mathrm{\;V}$,在${0.2}\mathrm{\;s}$ 时再从${75}\mathrm{\;V}$ 降至${40}\mathrm{\;V}$ 系统的动态响应波形。输入电压变化意味着飞跨电容电压参考值的变化, 但对输出电压影响不大。在线性解耦 PI 算法下, 飞跨电容电压跟随输入电压变化, 但输出电压出现明显超调和振荡现象; 而在本文所提控制策略下对输出电压影响甚微。进一步验证了所提算法的抗干扰能力。
为了验证本文所述的控制策略, 搭建了一台三电平 Buck 变换器实验样机,如图7 所示,包括 GW Instek PSB-1400M 多量程直流电源、三电平 Buck 变换器、TMS320F2812 数字信号处理器(DSP2812)、LV25-P 霍尔电压传感器和 CHB25-NP 霍尔电流传感器构成的采样电路以及 Tektronix MDO- 3104 四通道数字存储示波器。三电平 Buck 变换器的开关管选用 CSD18532, 栅极驱动电路选用 2 个 TLP250 驱动芯片。
图8 为参考电压变化时系统的实验结果。图8(a) 和 (b) 分别为参考电压由${20}\mathrm{\;V}$ 升至${30}\mathrm{\;V}$ 和由 30$\mathrm{V}$ 降至${20}\mathrm{\;V}$ 的实验波形。输入电压为${50}\mathrm{\;V}$,此时飞跨电容电压经过短时间小幅度波动后平衡在输入电压的$1/2$ 处,输出电压的动态特性良好,几乎没有超调。实验结果和仿真结果基本吻合。
图9 为负载电阻变化时系统的实验结果。图9(a) 和 (b) 分别为负载电阻由${20\Omega }$ 跳变为${10\Omega }$${10\Omega }$ 跳变为${20\Omega }$ 的实验波形。此时输出电压稳定在${30}\mathrm{\;V}$, 飞跨电容电压稳定在${25}\mathrm{\;V}$,在负载变化时,输出电压以及飞跨电容电压几乎没有波动, 实验与仿真结果基本一致。
图10 为输入电压变化时系统的实验结果。图10(a) 和 (b) 分别为输入电压由${50}\mathrm{\;V}$ 升至${75}\mathrm{\;V}$${75}\mathrm{\;V}$ 降至${40}\mathrm{\;V}$ 的实验波形。此时输出电压稳定在${30}\mathrm{\;V}$,因为输入电压变化,飞跨电容电压也跟随着变化,图10(a) 的输入电压由${50}\mathrm{\;V}$ 跳变到${75}\mathrm{\;V}$, 飞跨电容电压由${25.0}\mathrm{\;V}$ 升至${37.5}\mathrm{\;V}$,能平滑跟随输入电压的变化。图10(b)的输入电压由${75}\mathrm{\;V}$ 跳变至${40}\mathrm{\;V}$,飞跨电容电压能平滑跟随输出电压变化,由${37.5}\mathrm{\;V}$ 降至${20.0}\mathrm{\;V}$。实验结果表明在输入电压变化时, 飞跨电容电压保持平衡在输入电压的 1/2。在输入电压变化的时候,输出电压一直保持稳定。
本文针对三电平 Buck 变换器, 提出了一种逆系统解耦反步滑模控制方法, 阐述了算法实现的过程,并且通过仿真和实验从参考电压变化、负载电阻变化和输入电压变化 3 个方面验证了所提出的控制策略的正确性和有效性, 可得到以下结论。
(1)通过逆系统解耦方法将强耦合的非线性系统解耦成一个一阶子系统和一个二阶子系统, 实现了飞跨电容电压和输出电压的独立控制。相比于线性解耦方法, 所建立的系统模型为大信号模型, 系统的非线性项没有被忽略, 保证了模型的准确性以及大信号扰动下系统的稳定性。
(2)对于输出电压采用反步滑模控制方法,对飞跨电容电压采用状态反馈控制方法, 在系统受外界扰动的情况下仍然能保持输出电压稳定和飞跨电容电压平衡, 系统的动态响应以及鲁棒性较好。
