The magnetic integrated coupling technology is introduced into a high-gain converter, and a magnetic integrated Boost converter based on diode clamping is proposed. Through the theoretical analysis of the working principle and performance characteristics of the proposed converter, it is shown that this converter can reduce its volume and inductance current ripple based on the advantages of the original converter, such as a high voltage gain and a simple control strategy. In addition, the voltage gain of the novel converter is further improved by using the switched capacitor technology, the voltage stress of the switch and diode is further reduced, and the energy conversion efficiency of the converter is effectively improved. Finally, the findings were verified by simulation and experimental results.

将磁集成耦合技术引入高增益变换器,提出1种基于二极管钳位的磁集成Boost变换器。对所提变换器工作原理和性能的理论分析表明,该变换器在兼具原变换器电压增益较高和控制策略较简单等优点的基础上,实现了体积减少及电感电流纹波降低。通过开关电容技术使所提变换器的电压增益得到了进一步提高,降低了开关管和二极管的电压应力,有效提高了变换器的能量转换效率。最后通过仿真与实验验证了理论分析的正确性。

将磁集成耦合技术引入高增益变换器,提出1种基于二极管钳位的磁集成Boost变换器。对所提变换器工作原理和性能的理论分析表明,该变换器在兼具原变换器电压增益较高和控制策略较简单等优点的基础上,实现了体积减少及电感电流纹波降低。通过开关电容技术使所提变换器的电压增益得到了进一步提高,降低了开关管和二极管的电压应力,有效提高了变换器的能量转换效率。最后通过仿真与实验验证了理论分析的正确性。

The magnetic integrated coupling technology is introduced into a high-gain converter, and a magnetic integrated Boost converter based on diode clamping is proposed. Through the theoretical analysis of the working principle and performance characteristics of the proposed converter, it is shown that this converter can reduce its volume and inductance current ripple based on the advantages of the original converter, such as a high voltage gain and a simple control strategy. In addition, the voltage gain of the novel converter is further improved by using the switched capacitor technology, the voltage stress of the switch and diode is further reduced, and the energy conversion efficiency of the converter is effectively improved. Finally, the findings were verified by simulation and experimental results.

DC-DC变换器被广泛应用于光伏发电、新能源汽车、燃料电池和航空航天等领域[1]。DC-DC Boost变换器作为DC-DC变换器的一种,也得到了极大的发展,特别是在新能源发电、利用和并网等环节。如何提高DC-DC Boost变换器的能量转换效率和电压增益,减小变换器体积并降低其开关管与二极管等器件的电压、电流应力,成为了当下该领域的研究重点之一[2-3]
传统Boost变换器的升压能力及其能量转换效率有限,不能满足现阶段高速发展的电力电子领域对Boost变换器的需求,使大量有助于提高电压增益的变换器被提出[4-10]。文献[4]通过增加变换器输入回路的方式实现了电压的高输出;文献[5]通过多级Boost变换器级联的方式实现了电压的高增益;文献[6]通过引入开关电感、开关电容等储能元件的方式实现了电压的高增益;文献[7-8]利用磁集成变换器的设计准则,为降低Boost变换器中的电感电流纹波并减小其体积提供了新思路。
针对新能源领域对变换器体积小、电压增益较大的要求,本文将磁集成耦合技术引入到高增益变换器上,提出了1种基于二极管钳位的耦合电感Boost变换器,并通过与开关电容模块结合,使开关管和二极管的电压应力进一步降低,电压增益及能量转换效率进一步提高。最终通过仿真与实验验证了理论分析的正确性。
文献[9]提出1种基于二极管钳位的新型高增益变换器,如图1所示。虽然该变换器拓扑结构实现了较高的电压增益,但其包含2个独立的电感元件,导致变换器体积较大。此外,变换器电感电流纹波较大,不利于能量转换效率的提高和设备整体使用寿命的延长。
本文所提基于二极管钳位磁集成Boost变换器的拓扑结构如图2所示,相较于图1的变换器[9],创新之处在于将电感L1L2采用正方向全耦合的方式集成在同一高磁导率的磁芯上。图1变换器中电感L1L2并联充电、串联放电,其独立运行时2个电感磁芯中的磁导大小和方向完全一致,在不改变原变换器主体工作原理的前提下,2个电感L1L2也具备正方向全耦合的条件。图2L1=L2=LM为耦合互感,开关管S1和S2的参数相同,且由同一脉宽调制PWM(pulse width modulation)波控制信号采用同步控制模式实现导通与关断。
新能源领域中,直流Boost变换器通常工作在电感电流连续模式CCM(continuous conduction mode),因此本文对所提变换器的分析均在电感电流连续模式CCM下进行。
图3为所提变换器中部分元器件的理想电压、电流波形。其中:Vgs1为开关管S1和S2的控制信号;${V}_{C}{}_{{}_{1}}$${V}_{C}{}_{{}_{2}}$分别为电容C1C2两端的电压;${i}_{L}{}_{{}_{1}}$${i}_{L}{}_{{}_{2}}$分别为电感L1L2的电流;${V}_{\text{D}}{}_{{}_{1}}$${V}_{\text{D}}{}_{{}_{2}}$分别为二极管D1和D2两端的电压;${V}_{\text{S}}{}_{{}_{1}}$${V}_{\text{S}}{}_{{}_{2}}$分别为开关管S1和S2的电压应力;tontoff分别为开关管的导通和关断时间;Ts为开关管的时钟周期。
在1个周期Ts,即开关管的1个导通与关断循环中,所提变换器有2种工作模态,其等效电路如图4所示,其中虚线表示线路中电流为0,实线表示线路的电流回路。
工作模态Ⅰ:开关管S1和S2导通,等效电路如图4(a)所示。
输入电源电压Vin通过开关管S1给电感L1充电,Vin-L1-S1形成环路,有

输入电源电压Vin通过开关管S1、S2和二极管D1给电容C1充电,Vin-S2-D1-C1-S1形成环路,有

电容C2给负载R供电,C2-R形成环路,有
${V}_{{C}_{2}}={V}_{\text{o}}$
工作模态Ⅱ:开关管S1和S2关断,等效电路如图4(b)所示。
电感L1L2的自感电动势及其互感电动势与电源电压Vin、电容C1串联后给电容C2充电,Vin-L1-C1-D2-C2-L2形成环路,有

设元器件均为理想状态。当变换器工作在模态Ⅰ时,结合式(1)和式(2)可得电感L1L2的电流增量为

当变换器工作在模态Ⅱ时,结合式(5)可得电感L1L2的电流减量为

图3可见,开关管的导通时间ton、关断时间toff与开关管的时钟周期Ts存在的关系为

式中,D为占空比。
因变换器中电感伏秒平衡,即$\Delta {i}_{L}^{+}=\Delta {i}_{L}^{-}$,结合式(4)、式(6)~式(8)可得该变换器电压增益为
$\frac{{V}_{\text{o}}}{{V}_{\text{in}}}=\frac{2}{1-D}$
由式(9)可知,本文所提升压变换器的输出电压是其输入电压的$2/(1-D)$倍。
由工作模态Ⅱ可知,开关管的电压应力为
${V}_{{\text{S}}_{1}}={V}_{{\text{S}}_{2}}=\frac{{V}_{{C}_{2}}-{V}_{{C}_{1}}+{V}_{\text{in}}}{2}$
结合式(3)、式(4)、式(9)和式(10)可得
${V}_{{\text{S}}_{1}}={V}_{{\text{S}}_{2}}=\frac{{V}_{\text{o}}}{2}$
由式(11)可知,本文所提升压变换器中开关管S1和S2两端的电压应力是输出电压的1/2。
由工作模态Ⅰ可知,二极管D2的电压应力为
${V}_{{\text{D}}_{2}}={V}_{\text{o}}$
由工作模态Ⅱ可知,二极管D1的电压应力为
${V}_{{\text{D}}_{1}}={V}_{\text{o}}$
由式(12)和式(13)可知,本文所提升压变换器中二极管D1和D2两端的电压应力均等于输出电压。
由式(6)可得电感电流纹波为
$\Delta {i}_{L}^{+}=\frac{{V}_{\text{in}}}{L+M}D{T}_{\text{s}}$
同理可得文献[9]所提电感未集成耦合的电感电流纹波为
$\Delta {i}_{L}^{{+}^{\prime }}=\frac{{V}_{\text{in}}}{L}D{T}_{\text{s}}$
耦合因数K可表示为
$K=\frac{M}{\sqrt{{L}_{1}{L}_{2}}}=\frac{M}{L}\le 1$
由式(16)可得
$M=KL$
结合式(14)、式(15)和式(17)可得,本文所提变换器电感集成耦合后与集成耦合前电感电流纹波的比值ξ
$\xi =\frac{\Delta {i}_{L}^{+}}{\Delta {i}_{L}^{{+}^{\prime }}}=\frac{1}{1+K}$
当电感L1L2采用正方向全耦合时,K=1。 由式(18)可知,所提磁耦合变换器的电感电流纹波为文献[9]所提独立电感变换器电感电流纹波的1/2。
在本文所提变换器的基础上,结合开关电容模块可得基于二极管钳位耦合电感/电容拓扑延伸变换器,如图5所示,其增加了二极管D3和D4、电容C3C4图5中,${V}_{{\text{D}}_{3}}$${V}_{{\text{D}}_{4}}$分别为二极管D3和D4两端的电压,${V}_{{C}_{3}}$${V}_{{C}_{4}}$分别为电容C3C4两端的电压,VR为输出电压。拓扑延伸变换器中与图2相同电路部分的工作原理、电压和电流与前文相同,不再赘述,现仅对新增电路进行简要分析。
当开关管S1和S2导通时,电容C2通过二极管D1和D3给电容C3充电,D1-C2-D3-C3形成环路,有
${V}_{{C}_{2}}={V}_{{C}_{3}}$
当开关管S1和S2关断时,电容C2C3通过二极管D2和D4串联后给电容C4充电,C2-D2-C3-D4-C4形成环路,有
${V}_{{C}_{2}}+{V}_{{C}_{3}}={V}_{{C}_{4}}$
电容C4给负载R供电,C4-R形成环路,有
${V}_{{C}_{4}}={V}_{R}$
结合式(4)、式(19)~式(21)可得
$2{V}_{\text{o}}={V}_{R}$
根据式(22),用VR转换Vo可得拓扑延伸变换器各参数。文献[9]所提变换器改进前、后及拓扑延伸变换器的性能对比见表1。本文通过将2个电感采用正方向全耦合的方式集成在1个高磁导率磁芯上的改进技术,使新变换器在继承原变换器电压增益高和控制策略简单等优点的基础上,有效减小了变换器的整体体积,并极大降低了电感电流纹波。在拓扑延伸研究中,将改进后的变换器和开关电容模块链接起来,在保留改进变换器优秀性能的基础上,成倍提高了变换器的电压增益,极大降低了开关管和二极管的电压应力,进一步保证了所提新型变换器的优秀综合性能。
为了验证理论分析的正确性,通过PSIM软件对所提改进型变换器进行仿真验证,仿真参数设置为输入电源电压Vin = 30 V,占空比D = 0.7,电感L1 = L2 = 100 μH,耦合互感M = 95 μH,电容C1 = C2 = 47 μF,工作频率f=50 kHz,负载R=200 Ω。
图6为仿真波形。图6(a)为变换器输出电压仿真波形,Vo = 200 V,与理论分析一致;图6(b)为电容C1两端电压仿真波形,峰值电压${V}_{C}{}_{{}_{1}}=30\text{ }\text{V}$,与理论分析一致;图6(c)(d)分别为二极管D1和开关管S1两端的电压应力仿真波形,峰值电压${V}_{\text{D}}{}_{{}_{1}}=200\text{ }\text{V}$${V}_{\text{S}}{}_{{}_{1}}=100\text{ }\text{V}$,与理论分析一致;图6(e)为本文所提变换器中磁集成电感电流仿真波形,电流纹波为2.1 A;图6(f)为文献[9]所提变换器中独立电感的电流仿真波形,电流纹波为4 A。综上可知,通过引入正方向全耦合技术,本文所提变换器中磁集成电感电流纹波是独立电感电流纹波的1/2,有效延长了变换器整体使用寿命,并提高了能量转换效率,与理论分析一致。
参照图2所示变换器的拓扑结构并根据仿真参数制作了1台实验样机,耦合电感参数实测值${L}_{1}=100.0\text{ }\mu \text{H}$${L}_{2}=100.2\text{ }\mu \text{H}$$M=98.5\text{ }\mu \text{H}$
图7(a)为输入、输出电压实验波形,图中显示:Vin = 30 V时,Vo = 200 V,与理论计算一致;图7(b)为开关管S1的电压应力与电感L1的电流波形,图中显示:${V}_{{\text{S}}_{1}}=100\text{ V}$${i}_{L}{}_{{}_{1}}=2\text{ A}$,均与理论计算一致。经过仿真与实验,验证了理论分析的正确性。
图8为实验样机在输出电压不同时对应所提变换器的能量转换效率曲线,可见:能量转换效率大体上随着输出电压的增大而增高。
本文在基于二极管钳位的新型高增益变换器的基础上,引入磁集成耦合技术,提出了1种基于二极管钳位的耦合电感Boost变换器。该变换器在兼具原变换器电压增益较高和控制策略较简单等优点的同时,实现了变换器体积的减小及电感电流纹波的降低。然后在不改变所提变换器工作原理和接线的前提下,与开关电容模块结合,使所提变换器的电压增益得到进一步提高,降低了开关管和二极管的电压应力,有效地提高了变换器的能量转换效率等综合能力。综合上述优点,本文所提变换器能够满足新能源领域中对变换器较高能量转换效率、较大电压增益、较小体积和较长使用寿命的需求。
