When the grid voltage is unbalanced, the phase-locked loop (PLL) needs to retrack the grid voltage. At this moment, an inaccurate phase lock or an overlong phase lock time will cause the degradation of control performance for the subsequent flexible DC transmission system. Therefore, to avoid the adverse effects caused by PLL, an improved control strategy for converter without PLL is proposed. First, the difference between the traditional PLL scheme and the proposed scheme without PLL is analyzed, and an instantaneous positive-and negative-sequence component extraction scheme is put forward in an environment without PLL. Second, a converter control system without PLL is designed, and the compensation of negative-sequence current is taken as its control target. Finally, the validity and correctness of the proposed strategy was verified by the experimental results of a prototype.

电网电压不平衡时,锁相环 PLL(phase-locked loop)需对电网电压进行重新追踪,此时锁相不准或锁相时间过长均会造成后续柔性直流输电系统中控制性能降低。为了避免锁相环带来的不利影响,提出1种无锁相环的改进型变流器控制策略。首先对传统锁相方案与无锁相方案的本质区别进行分析,进一步在无锁相环环境下提出1种瞬时正、负序分量提取方案;其次对无锁相环的变流器控制系统进行设计,并以补偿负序电流为控制目标;最后在实验样机下验证所提策略的正确性与有效性。

电网电压不平衡时,锁相环 PLL(phase-locked loop)需对电网电压进行重新追踪,此时锁相不准或锁相时间过长均会造成后续柔性直流输电系统中控制性能降低。为了避免锁相环带来的不利影响,提出1种无锁相环的改进型变流器控制策略。首先对传统锁相方案与无锁相方案的本质区别进行分析,进一步在无锁相环环境下提出1种瞬时正、负序分量提取方案;其次对无锁相环的变流器控制系统进行设计,并以补偿负序电流为控制目标;最后在实验样机下验证所提策略的正确性与有效性。

When the grid voltage is unbalanced, the phase-locked loop (PLL) needs to retrack the grid voltage. At this moment, an inaccurate phase lock or an overlong phase lock time will cause the degradation of control performance for the subsequent flexible DC transmission system. Therefore, to avoid the adverse effects caused by PLL, an improved control strategy for converter without PLL is proposed. First, the difference between the traditional PLL scheme and the proposed scheme without PLL is analyzed, and an instantaneous positive-and negative-sequence component extraction scheme is put forward in an environment without PLL. Second, a converter control system without PLL is designed, and the compensation of negative-sequence current is taken as its control target. Finally, the validity and correctness of the proposed strategy was verified by the experimental results of a prototype.

高压直流输电系统在经济、技术等方面具有独特优势, 但当逆变侧存在弱电网或海岛电网时, 系统容易处于三相不平衡状态。传统的电压源换流器高压直流 VSC-HVDC(voltage source converter-high voltage direct current)不平衡控制策略往往以锁相环为前提。文献[1]在双闭环电流控制基础上增加附加控制, 实现了系统从平衡到不平衡的有效控制; 同样是针对稳态与暂态下的控制, 文献[2]利用直接功率控制对换流器控制器再设计, 实现了直流侧电压的稳定控制。为了克服电网电压畸变, 文献[3] 基于谐振环提出 1 种新型不平衡控制, 可有效降低逆变侧电网的谐波含量。为了应对不平衡下有功、 无功的协调控制, 文献[4]提出 1 种基于粒子群算法的优化策略, 可同时抑制不平衡电网造成的有功功率和无功功率, 但该策略并未对负序电流进行控制; 文献[5]提出 1 种快速有效的正序分量提取方法, 为后续逆变器应对电网不平衡提供了新思路; 文献[6]构建 1 种新型滑模控制器, 对不平衡电网造成的功率波动进行了有效控制, 增强了系统的鲁棒性; 文献[7]分析了 VSC-HVDC 系统的电磁暂态模型, 通过陷波器得到正、负序分量, 对不平衡电网所产生的影响进行有效抑制; 文献[8]设计了自适应的滑模控制器对直流侧电压波动进行有效抑制; 文献[9]重新定义了功率传输方程, 简化了控制系统形式。上述文献均以锁相环为前提对 VSC-HVDC 系统进行控制, 但闭环锁相方案在电网由平衡进入不平衡时会造成锁相延时及锁相不准的情况[10],因此有必要对无锁相环下的 VSC-HVDC 控制进行研究。
文献[11]提出 1 种基于广义积分器的无锁相环控制策略, 在无锁相环下可对负序电流进行有效治理, 但该策略响应速度较慢; 文献[12]为避免使用锁相环, 提出 1 种快速同步相位捕获方案; 文献[13] 在谐波电网环境下提出 1 种基于直接功率控制的无锁相环运行方案, 但该方案未考虑电网不平衡带来的影响; 文献[14]提出 1 种新型无锁相环变流器控制方案, 需构造正交电压信号, 增加了动态响应时间。无锁相环控制在保证原有控制目标的同时简化了系统结构, 下一步应考虑如何进一步提高系统的动态响应速度。
针对上述问题, 本文在无锁相环运行环境下提出 1 种应用于柔直系统变流器的控制策略, 以抑制负序电流为控制目标, 旨在通过改进型的无锁相环方案提高系统的动态响应速度。最后在实验样机下验证所提策略的正确性与有效性。
图1为网侧电网电压$e$ 、网侧电流$i$ 在不同参考系下的正序与负序分量构造分析,其中,${\omega }_{\mathrm{n}}$ 为电网角频率,$\omega$ 为 PLL 锁相角频率。由锁相准则可知,当电网电压不平衡时,${d}_{\mathrm{{pll}}}$ 需分别跟踪${\mathbf{e}}^{+ }$${e}^{- }$ 以锁定电网相位。尤其当$e$ 处于非理想情况,锁相环 PLL(phase-locked loop)需重新对电网电压进行定位, 此时可能造成锁相不准或响应时间过长等[10],选择相对静止的参考系可避免此问题。
图1可以推导出不同参考系下电网电压之间的关系, 以电网电压正序分量为例

式中:${e}_{{d}_{\mathrm{{pll}}}}^{+ }\text{、}{e}_{{q}_{\mathrm{{pll}}}}^{+ }$ 分别为 PLL 坐标系上$d\text{、}q$ 轴电压分量;${\varphi }^{+ }$ 为 PLL 捕获相位。
由式 (1)可得, 2 种不同参考系呈线性关系, 无本质区别, 仅在不同坐标系下投影结果不同。 为了保证参考系与$e\text{、}i$ 相对静止,通常取${\omega }_{\mathrm{n}}=$ ${100\pi }\mathrm{{rad}}/\mathrm{s}$
图1可知, 当电网电压不平衡时, PLL 方案和无 PLL 方案均需进行电网电压的序分量提取, 因此首先说明序分量的提取方法。根据正交分量构造原则,正、负序分离方案如图2所示。
首先,构建不平衡分量$e$ 的正交分量。一般正交分量由微分法或延时法构造, 为了综合响应速度与抑制噪声, 选用文献[12]所提方案, 其表达式为

式中,${\Delta T}$ 为采样周期。由${\omega }_{\mathrm{n}}= {100\pi }\mathrm{{rad}}/\mathrm{s}$ 替代$\omega$, 因此省略了锁相环节。

由式(5)可知,该方案仅需构造$e$ 的正交分量组和固定的系数矩阵, 即可对不平衡分量进行有效分离。因此该方案无需再在${dq}$ 坐标系下设计滤波器对负序分量进行滤除。
图3为 VSC-HVDC 逆变侧结构, 由于无中性点连接,忽略其零序分量的影响[15-16]
当电网电压$e$ 发生不平衡时,交流侧电压回路方程可表示为

式中:${\mathbf{e}}^{+ }\text{、}{\mathbf{e}}^{- }$ 分别为网侧不平衡电压中的正、负序电压分量;${\mathbf{u}}^{+ }$${\mathbf{u}}^{- }$ 分别为逆变器输出的正、负序电压分量;${\mathbf{i}}^{+ }$${\mathbf{i}}^{- }$ 分别为交流侧正、负序电流分量;$L$ 为入网端等效电抗;$R$ 为等效电阻;$C$ 为母线电容。
为了控制不平衡电网产生的负序电流, 需在${dq}$ 坐标系下对式(6)进行转换,其表达式为

式中,“*” 表示功率给定值。
在无锁相环坐标系下进行电网电压(电流)的正、负序分离, 通过给定功率求出被控电流的指令值。由式 (10)可以看出, 与 PLL 方案不同, 由于未检测相位,因此需要考虑$q$ 轴分量。
图4为无锁相环下 VSC-HVDC 的控制框图。 该控制系统与以 PLL 为前提的并网控制不同, 在控制中坐标变换所需要的相位角由无 PLL 方案直接给定,此时电网电压不落在旋转坐标系的$\mathrm{d}$ 轴上, 参考指令值的给定如式(10)所示。与文献[11] 所提无锁相环方案相比, 本文所提改进方案无需通过二阶广义积分器 SOGI(second-order generalized integrator)对电网信号的序分量进行提取, 因此在动态响应上更具优势, 电流内环采用电流正序环与负序环分别对可控指令电流进行追踪。最后, 在 abc 坐标系下合成逆变器所需调制信号。
为验证所提无闭环锁相策略的可行性, 在实验样机平台上模拟不同的电网电压跌落工况(轻度跌落、重度跌落)进行验证, 并以双闭环抑制负序电流为控制目标。系统结构如图4所示, 主要参数见表1
图5(a)~(c)分别为轻度跌落时的网侧电网电压、正序分量提取结果、负序电流抑制结果。电网电压在理想电网下运行一段时间后, 由平衡状态进入不平衡状态, 其中由触发过程改变电网电压, 将三相电网电压变为不平衡电网电压。此时, 电网电压中不仅包含基波正序分量, 还包含由故障引起的负序分量。改进型序分量提取方案可对不平衡电压中的序分量进行快速有效提取。由所提无锁相环方案负序电流平衡结果可知, 在触发过程前, 由于电网平衡运行, 逆变器的入网电流处于三相平衡状态。当电网运行在不平衡状态时, 由于网侧电压不平衡, 若此时逆变器不参与治理, 会因网侧端的不平衡分量及逆变器输出端的平衡分量导致在网侧线路上产生不平衡压降, 进而产生对应的不平衡电流。本文所提无锁相环方案无需调节 PLL 参数与设计 PLL 结构, 并且能够迅速使逆变器产生相应的负序电压, 进一步使网侧电流进入正弦对称的目标控制状态,用时约$8\mathrm{\;{ms}}$
图6(a)~(c)分别为重度跌落时的网侧电网电压、正序分量提取结果、负序电流抑制结果。电网电压在平衡状态下运行一段时间随即转入重度单相电网电压跌落(80%)状态。无论是轻度跌落还是重度跌落, 改进型序分量提取方案均可有效提取电网电压的序分量。负序电流抑制结果表明, 当电网电压发生重度跌落时, 该策略仍能有效抑制网侧负序电流, 由于电压跌落程度更深, 即扰动更严重, 相应的响应时间有所增加,约${12}\mathrm{{ms}}$。该策略省略了 PLL, 并且在不平衡电压的提取及负序电流抑制上具有更快的响应时间。
本文提出 1 种基于无锁相环的变流器控制策略, 不仅拓宽了柔性直流输电系统中变流器的应用范围, 还进一步省略了锁相环。移除锁相环后, 系统坐标变换的次数减少,因此可以明显减少由于三角函数运算导致的计算量,节约了芯片计算资源和存储空间。传统 PLL 方案在闭环控制中, 其相关参数整定需根据具体工况进行重新调整, 特别是电网电压相位突变及电网不平衡等工况。而移除锁相环后,系统减少了 PI 调节器, 简化了控制系统, 减少了控制参数整定过程。当电网频率在电网规定范围内变化时, 所提方案的检测误差并不影响后续逆变器的控制性能。
