The rail transit Passenger Information System (PIS) utilizes communication and multimedia technology and provides passengers with allround and multiscene information service systems based on a variety of display terminals. To address the drawbacks of the current rail transit Passenger Information System, such as overinvestment in hardware, low deployment and debugging efficiency, long broadcast control transmission link, and poor reliability, this paper proposes a cloud broadcast control technology architecture for the new generation Passenger Information System, which is "system into the cloud and broadcast control into the screen, " and describes in detail the technical advantages brought by the cloud playcontrol architecture through reforming the traditional audio and video transmission modes. The problem regarding picture synchronization on a multidisplay terminal was analyzed. The results show that the cloud playcontrol technology reduces the fault nodes by 50%, improves the deployment and debugging efficiency, achieves intensive construction, and can provide application support for various personalized scenarios f throughout the entire process of passenger travel from arrival to departure, which can provide reference for the subsequent construction of passenger information systems.

轨道交通乘客信息系统(passenger information system, PIS)是以通信和多媒体技术为基础,基于多种显示终端为乘客提供全方位、多场景的信息服务系统。针对目前轨道交通乘客信息系统面临的硬件投资过剩、部署调试效率低、播控传输链路长、可靠性差的弊端,提出“系统入云、播控入屏”的新一代乘客信息系统的云播控技术架构,详细阐述云播控架构通过变革传统音视频传输方式带来的技术优势,并分析多显示终端画面难以同步的问题。研究结果表明,云播控技术可以减少50%的故障节点,有效提高部署调试效率,实现集约化建设的目标,并能够针对乘客从进站到出站的出行全链路进行多种个性化场景的应用支撑。

The rail transit Passenger Information System (PIS) utilizes communication and multimedia technology and provides passengers with allround and multiscene information service systems based on a variety of display terminals. To address the drawbacks of the current rail transit Passenger Information System, such as overinvestment in hardware, low deployment and debugging efficiency, long broadcast control transmission link, and poor reliability, this paper proposes a cloud broadcast control technology architecture for the new generation Passenger Information System, which is "system into the cloud and broadcast control into the screen, " and describes in detail the technical advantages brought by the cloud playcontrol architecture through reforming the traditional audio and video transmission modes. The problem regarding picture synchronization on a multidisplay terminal was analyzed. The results show that the cloud playcontrol technology reduces the fault nodes by 50%, improves the deployment and debugging efficiency, achieves intensive construction, and can provide application support for various personalized scenarios f throughout the entire process of passenger travel from arrival to departure, which can provide reference for the subsequent construction of passenger information systems.

城市轨道交通乘客信息系统(passenger information system, PIS)基于各类显示终端为乘客提供多媒体资讯服务, 是城市轨道交通智慧乘客服务体系的核心系统, 承担着轨道交通绿色出行、客流诱导、乘客服务的关键作用。因 PIS 的播放画面直接面向大众, 一旦发生故障将导致大量投诉甚至引发社会舆情, 因此合理架构 PIS 变得非常重要。传统的乘客信息系统架构存在硬件资源利用率低、部署调试效率低、故障节点多、故障影响范围大等弊端,本文研究了一种云播控技术, 变革了传统的音视频传输架构, 提出了 “系统入云、播控入屏”的新一代乘客信息架构。系统入云, 整合了中心和车站的硬件资源, 提高了部署效率; 播控入屏, 通过开放式可插拔的标准接口插入在显示屏中, 减少了传输故障节点和影响范围, 提高了可靠性, 并基于完全分布式技术支持多场景个性化的应用显示。相较于传统架构, 故障节点减少了 50%, 系统影响范围由站台整侧 8 个显示屏减少到 1 个显示屏。
乘客信息系统主要由控制中心、车站及车载子系统构成。控制中心主要负责视频直播、素材采编、版式节目制作、设备网管以及与其他子系统对接等业务。 控制中心配置有通用业务处理服务器(如中心服务器、 接口服务器、网管服务器等)、无线管理服务器、工作站等设备。车站通常有上行站台、下行站台和站厅 3 个主要的显示区域, 每个显示区域通常有 8 块显示屏, 车站机房中配置服务器及每个显示区域对应的播放控制器。车载通常是一个独立运行的系统, 列车中安装有播放控制设备, 通过车地无线系统接收中心的直播视频、版式及节目进行整合、播放。中心与车站的整体架构如 图 1 所示。
乘客信息系统传统架构存在如下问题:
1) 中心和车站大量的服务器硬件资源不能按需分配和调度。中心和车站服务器都是实体服务器, 服务器的 CPU、内存、存储等资源配置高,而在实际运行中使用率低, 不能依据实际的使用需求进行定制配置, 造成资源浪费[ 1 ]。
2) 线路扩容效率低。地铁线路增加车站时, 控制中心需要扩容服务器, 一般都是购买性能及存储配置高的实体服务器替代原有实体服务器, 需要将原有程序在新替换的服务器中重新部署调试, 重复部署调试工作量大、效率低。
3) 部署调试效率低。地铁站点众多, 需要每个车站安装服务器、播控器、音视频设备、显示屏等,并需要逐个设备调试, 从控制中心发布节目信息到终端显示,需要经过多个转换环节,并且设备之间的连接线缆多、故障点多,造成调试工作量大、效率低 [ 2 ]
4) 车站播控系统传输故障节点多,可靠性差。 播放控制器通过车站交换机接收网络数据并合成播放画面后, 通过高清晰度多媒体接口(high definition multimedia interface, HDMI)信号输出, 但 HDMI 信号无法实现远距离传输(机房到站厅站台通常几百米), 此时就需要音视频发送设备将 HDMI 信号转换成光信号, 经光纤传输到站厅站台的显示屏侧, 因显示屏无法直接显示光信号, 需要通过音视频接收器将光信号再转换成 HDMI 信号输出给显示屏显示。因此从机房播放控制器到站厅站台的显示屏需要经过播放控制器、音视频发送器、音视频接收器、显示屏共 4 种设备, 需要经过 HDMI 转光信号、光信号转 HDMI 2 次信号转换, 故障节点多, 难以保障系统可靠性 [ 2 ]
5) 故障影响范围大。站厅站台每个区域 8 块显示屏的播放内容全部来源于机房内同一台播放控制器, 当播放控制器故障时, 区域内的 8 块显示屏将全部没有显示信号, 乘客信息系统直接面向乘客, 整个区域的显示屏全部无显示时, 极易引起乘客投诉。
6) 不支持个性化显示。传统架构下, 同一个区域内的 8 个显示屏的画面全部来源于同一个播控器, 无法实现不同显示屏播放不同的画面, 在换乘通道及屏蔽门等需要显示不同画面的场景下, 只能通过追加播控器的方式实现, 当显示多个个性化场景时, 机房需要大量播控器及音视频设备, 在机房能耗、硬件投资、 安装调试等各方面都将付出较大代价。
1) 通用设备可全部云化 [ 3 ] 。中心的工作站、服务器以及车站服务器, 属于通用设备, 适宜做云化处理。
2) 专业化系统不适合云化。中心的直播和非线编系统一般都是采用专业的设备, 具有软硬一体化及接口专用的特点, 如广电解码器、音视频矩阵、音视频编码器、上下变换器等专业化设备,不适宜云化。
3) 播放显示设备不适合云化。车站的播控器和显示屏等需要满足降级需求, 即当网络中断时, 终端显示设备仍能够正常播放画面,因此不适宜云化。
4) 车载系统不适合云化。车载 PIS 的媒体播放、 广播和视频监控基本采用 “就地” 式的数据计算和处理, 数据通信主要集中在车内。同时车载系统与地面采用无线网络传输的方式, 受带宽和网络稳定性限制, 不适合将业务集中部署在云平台。
将通用的车站及中心服务器全部云化在中心, 由云平台对各个车站进行直接管理,有效整合中心和车站的计算、存储等资源,统一分配调度,相关的硬件资源包括 CPU、内存、存储设备等,都由云平台进行按需分配和调度 [ 1 ] ,实现集约化建设,满足城市统一规划、统一管理、统一发布的乘客信息系统建设目标。云播控架构如 图 2 所示。为了满足车站故障降级的需求, 在车站设置备用降级服务器, 实现与综合监控和广播系统的接口互联功能, 当中心车站出现网络故障时, 确保车站的综合监控、广播等系统仍能与乘客信息系统进行互联互通和信息触发显示。
针对传统播控架构存在的问题, 设计了一种基于开放式可插拔规范(interactive whiteboard open pluggable specification-China, OPS-C)的入屏式播放控制器(以下简称 OPS 播控器 [ 1 ] ),通过 OPS-C 插槽集成在显示屏中。OPS 播控器的光纤接口直接连接车站交换机,与中心云平台进行点对点通信, 获取云平台发送的播放版式、直播视频、播放计划、节目素材、列车信号和时钟同步信息, 将这些信息合成播放画面后, 通过 OPS-C 插槽直接输出至显示屏。OPS 播控器具备计算和存储功能, 当车站网络发生故障时, 能够自动切换至本地多媒体信息,实现就地播放功能 [ 4 ]
1) 乘客信息系统的后台服务设置在云端, 硬件资源统一由云平台按需分配使用, 无论是新建线路、改造及延长线路,只需在中心云平台分配相关硬件资源, 就可以达到节约硬件建设投资、实现集约化建设和运营的目的 [ 5 ]
2) 利用云平台虚拟化技术, 在中心一次完成部署和调试, 不需要逐站进行车站服务器、播控器、音视频设备的安装调试, 显著提高部署调试的效率。
3) 线路扩容效率高, 由于云播控架构是全 IP 网络传输, 因此新扩容车站时, 不需要调试机房内的播控器及音视频发送设备, 仅需要在站厅站台将 OPS 播控器插入显示屏, 并在云端控制中心部署车站服务, 便可实现远程调试。
4) OPS 播控器与显示屏集成一体, 通过网络直接接入云端, 实现 “点对点” 的节目传输, 减少了节目发布的传输环节, 降低中转环节的安全隐患和数据在中间设备被篡改或者监听的风险,提高系统的安全性 [ 4 ]
5) 云播控架构实现了真正意义的全光路数字传输 [ 6 ] ,云播控架构将机房播放控制器、音视频发送器及音视频接收器集成为一个嵌入式设备 [ 2 ] ,直接接入光信号, 接收网络数据流, 在显示屏侧合成播放画面, 并通过 OPS-C 插槽输出信号给显示屏, 不需要二次信号转换环节, 减少了 50%的故障节点。
6) 云播控架构的故障影响范围减少 80%。传统架构下, 1 个播放控制器输出信号给 8 个显示屏, 云播控架构下每个显示屏都是独立的显示个体, 1 个播放控制器故障仅影响 1 个显示屏 [ 4 ]
7) 云播控架构支持个性化显示。播放控制器与显示屏的拓扑关系由传统架构下的 “1:8” 改变为 “1:1”, 每一个显示屏都可以播放不同的内容。
8) 播控器与显示屏采用纯硬件电路连接, 保证了音视频信号传输的可靠性。播放控制器与显示屏通过 OPS-C 纯硬件电路连接, 采用全数字信号传输, 无中间信号转换设备, 确保了信号质量的安全可靠。
9) 支持多场景应用, 可以用于站台站厅吊装显示屏、站台屏蔽门显示屏、站厅电子导引设备、站厅触控屏等多种显示终端中, 提供了更丰富多元的场景化应用 [ 7 ]
传统播控架构下, 1 个播控器输出给 1 个区域的 8 个显示屏,因此这同一个区域内的显示屏画面不会出现画面不同步的现象。采用云播控架构时, 每一个显示屏都是一个独立的显示个体,由于网络传输延迟、 播控器同一时刻性能不一致、时间不同步、播放处理机制不完善等因素都能导致多个显示屏出现音视频内容不一致的问题, 严重影响乘客的视听体验。本文通过三维时钟校时、实时帧速调整等方法解决了音视频同步难题, 提高了乘客视听体验。
在入屏式播控器中安装标准网络时间协议(network time protocol, NTP) [ 8 ] 的校时客户端,与中心母钟进行周期性校时。单纯的时钟校时并不能实现画面同步, 现在 PIS 系统都有校时, 但画面不同步现象在地铁中时有发生,因此画面同步需要有一个综合的处理方法, 称为三维时钟校时, 三维时钟校时的过程如 图 3 所示。 通常时钟有 3 个概念:墙上时钟、本地时钟和参考时钟, 墙上时钟又称绝对时钟, 是描述当前时间距离公元零年零点的距离; 本地时钟是播控器的本地系统时间;参考时钟是直播源发送的实时传输控制协议 (real-time control protocol, RTCP) [ 9 ] 控制数据包的本地时间。在音视频领域, 还有一个相对时钟的概念, 即视频传输领域使用的实时传输协议(real-time transport protocol, RTP) [ 10 ] 的数据包时间戳,相对时钟是用来表达视频数据包的先后顺序, 如传输视频流的采样率为 ${90000}\mathrm{\;{Hz}}$ (即将 $1\mathrm{\;s}$ 平均分成90000份),每秒传输 25 帧,则每一帧的时间戳增量为 ${90000}/{25}= {3600}$ , 设第 1 帧时间戳为 0 , 则第 2 帧的时间戳为 3600 , 第 3 帧时间戳为 7200 。播控器通过组播收到数据包后(通常 $1\mathrm{\;s}$ 有上千个包),何时触发播放就需要将参考时钟和相对时钟全部转换为本地稳定时钟(本地稳定时钟以系统时间启动为零点,计时单位为 $1 \times {10}^{-7}\mathrm{\;s}$ ,按计时单位单调递增),但由于程序自身运算耗时、网络传输耗时、数据包延迟、时钟自身的精度差异 [ 10 ] 等因素, 需要通过参考时钟周期性地进行零点校正, 这样才能将误差控制在合理范围内, 也就是说时钟精度调整是持续的。
每一台播控器的硬件配置相同, 但运行后的性能并不一定绝对相同, 因此, 还需要在播控软件的处理器中根据视频帧的播放时间戳(presentation time stamp, PTS)进行实时帧速调整,即创建长度为 $1\mathrm{\;s}$ 的播放缓存, 只要播放缓存的第 1 帧和最后 1 帧的时间跨度不是 $1\mathrm{\;s}$ ,则自动触发缓存变化通知,通过同步因子(以 $8 \times {10}^{-7}$ 为 1 个抖动幅度)进行帧速实时调整。缓存中的视频帧消耗得快, 则调慢速度; 视频帧消耗得慢, 则调快速度。每次调速不超过 1 个抖动幅度, 直到缓存的时间跨度恰好是 1 秒为止, 从而达到所有播放终端画面同步, 即肉眼体验不出播放忽快忽慢的现象。
云播控方案与传统方案的关键区别在于管理模式由集中式(1 个播控器对应 8 个显示屏)改变为完全分布式 (1 个播控器对应 1 个显示屏, 每个显示屏都是独立的显示个体, 可以显示个性化内容), 云播控方案能够更好地支撑乘客出行全链路的应用场景,如 图 4 所示。 在乘客进站前, 显示屏中会发布站内大客流、拥挤度、关站等运营信息;在站厅,触控查询机和电子导引设备会显示线网可达性、首末班信息、公交换乘信息、出入口导向、周边旅游及站内导航等信息; 在站台,吊装显示屏和屏蔽门显示屏会显示车厢拥挤度、到站时间、列车门状态、乘车指引、紧急疏散等信息 [ 11 ]
针对新架构方案能够实现分布式个性化管理与显示的特点, 在车站火灾等异常场景下, 能否根据火灾点位启动逃生路线图、 在每个终端显示屏中指引乘客按正确路线疏散等问题, 还需要进一步探索研究。
目前城轨云已在地铁中大量应用, 系统入云已经是近几年行业招标的必备要求, 乘客信息系统的后台设置于云平台中, 车站播控嵌入到终端显示屏中, 从交换机到终端显示屏仅需要敷设一根光纤, 就可以实现真正意义的全光路传输。这种方法具有节省硬件建设投资、提高部署效率、实现中心统一编播、减少系统故障点、无信号转换、全 IP 网络传输、纯数字个性化显示等特点, 在城市轨道交通、高铁等领域具备较高的应用推广价值。
本文分析和研究了轨道交通乘客信息系统传统架构存在的问题,提出了 “系统入云、播控入屏” 的新一代云播控系统的整体架构, 并成功应用于贵阳地铁 3 号线。云播控架构与传统架构相比, 减少了 50%的故障节点和 80%的故障影响范围,提高了部署调试的效率, 实现了集约化建设目标, 并支持个性化显示及多场景应用扩展,支撑轨道交通稳定、可靠、安全、高效运行。
