The discharge rod is crucial for the safety of working personnel in substations. However, traditional discharge rods have long discharge times and low work efficiency. A rapid discharge rod is designed to achieve rapid discharge of residual voltage in equipment while avoiding damage to the equipment caused by excessive discharge current. On the basis of the traditional RC discharge circuit, inductive elements are added to form RLC and RL discharge circuits. By selecting RLC circuit or RL circuit through metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET), rapid discharge of equipments can be achieved, thereby improving the work efficiency of operators.

放电棒对变电站检修试验人员的安全至关重要,但传统放电棒存在放电时间长、工作效率低的问题。为实现设备残压的快速释放,同时避免放电电流过大损坏设备,本文设计了一种快速放电棒。在传统放电棒RC放电电路的基础上,增加电感元件构成RLC放电回路与RL放电回路,并通过金属-氧化物半导体场效应晶体管(MOSFET)控制RLC回路与RL回路的通断,从而实现设备快速放电,提高作业人员的工作效率。

放电棒对变电站检修试验人员的安全至关重要,但传统放电棒存在放电时间长、工作效率低的问题。为实现设备残压的快速释放,同时避免放电电流过大损坏设备,本文设计了一种快速放电棒。在传统放电棒RC放电电路的基础上,增加电感元件构成RLC放电回路与RL放电回路,并通过金属-氧化物半导体场效应晶体管(MOSFET)控制RLC回路与RL回路的通断,从而实现设备快速放电,提高作业人员的工作效率。

The discharge rod is crucial for the safety of working personnel in substations. However, traditional discharge rods have long discharge times and low work efficiency. A rapid discharge rod is designed to achieve rapid discharge of residual voltage in equipment while avoiding damage to the equipment caused by excessive discharge current. On the basis of the traditional RC discharge circuit, inductive elements are added to form RLC and RL discharge circuits. By selecting RLC circuit or RL circuit through metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET), rapid discharge of equipments can be achieved, thereby improving the work efficiency of operators.

变电站一次设备包括许多容性设备,由于电容能够储存能量,容性设备在停电或故障时仍有残余电荷[1],在工作中威胁作业人员的安全[2]。在进行容性设备检修试验工作时,首先操作设备处于检修状态,然后进入现场对容性设备放电后才能在设备上工作[3],从而保障作业人员的人身安全[4-5]
容性设备如无功补偿电容器组,在按要求作业前需要逐个多次放电[6],由于现有放电棒大多为固定电阻型放电棒,电阻一般为几十兆欧,在先经高阻放电再直接接地放电模式下的放电时间较长。电容放电装置[7-9]放电效率高且操作简单便捷,但体积较大,不适用于现场作业。因此,本文设计一种容性设备快速放电棒,沿用原有棒状结构,方便携带,同时具有快速放电的优点,大大提高作业效率[10]
传统放电棒一般为固定电阻型放电棒[11],其高阻放电过程为RC放电电路模型,等效电路如图1所示。
图1中,C为容性设备电容,R0为放电棒的固定电阻。放电过程根据基尔霍夫电压定律得

放电过程的放电电流为
$i(t)=\frac{{U}_{0}}{{R}_{0}}{\text{e}}^{-\text{ }\frac{t}{{R}_{0}C}}$
由式(3)可知,放电开始时放电电流最大,为防止放电电流过大对设备造成冲击而损坏设备[12],电阻R0的值设计得较大,而放电时间与时间常数R0C有关,其中C为设备固有参数,所以当放电电阻R0越大时放电时间越长[13]
为使容性设备放电至安全电压Ur,由式(2)可得需要的放电时间为

假设某设备残压U0=10kV,设备最大电流为1A,设备等效电容C=0.01F,则为了不损坏设备,放电电阻R0应大于10kΩ。假设取临界值R0=10kΩ,安全电压Ur设为36V,则根据式(4)计算可知,由此放电电阻构成的RC放电回路需经过约562s才可以把残压降至36V,放电时间较长,极大影响了工作效率。
为实现设备残压的快速释放,同时避免放电电流过大损坏设备[14],设计快速放电棒等效电路如图2所示,在传统RC放电电路的基础上增加电感元件构成RLC放电回路与RL放电回路[15-16],并通过金属-氧化物半导体场效应晶体管(metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor, MOSFET)控制RLC回路与RL回路的通断[17],实现设备残压的迅速释放。
图2中,C为设备的等效电容,R0为高阻值放电电阻;L为线圈电感值,RL为线圈等效电阻,Rp为高压放电电阻,M1、M2为MOSFET,CT表示罗氏线圈,MCU为数据采集、处理与控制单元。
阶段1放电回路如图3所示。M1导通,M2关断,设备电容残余电荷通过两条通道释放:一是通过R0的高阻通道;二是通过电感通道。对于R0高阻通道,令设备残压u(t)的初值为U0,其放电电流i0(t)为

对于电感通道,构成了一个RLC电路,根据二阶电路的分析原理可得流过电感回路的电流il(t)为

其中

阶段2放电回路如图4所示。经过时间T1后,CT测量到电感电流il(t)达到设备最大允许电流,则通过微控制单元(microcontroller unit, MCU)控制M1关断。此时,设备消耗的残余电荷ΔQ可表示为

则经过时间T1后,设备残余电压为

阶段3放电回路如图5所示。保持M1关断,M2导通,电感L上的能量通过电阻Rp与线圈等效电阻RL构成的RL电路释放,设经过T2时间,回路电流降为初始电流的0.1%以下。由于电感L很小,实际上T2极小,T2可通过式(10)计算。

与此同时,设备等效电容C继续通过R0高阻放电支路放电,放电时间为T2,所以根据式(5)~式(10),再经过T2后,设备残余电压为

重复进行阶段1~阶段3,直至M1单次导通时间超过1s,说明设备上的残压已足够低,处于安全的电压水平。
设置快速放电棒参数:L=0.1H,RL=200Ω,R0=10kΩ,Rp=100kΩ。下面计算快速放电棒经过多长时间可以把残压降至36V以下。
为了简化计算,先忽略R0支路。由于R0支路一直处于消耗能量的状态,所以忽略R0实际上会增加放电时间。忽略R0支路后,电流的放电原理为,通过M1控制电感支路不断从C获得能量,通过M2控制电感支路经固定时长T2释放电感存储的能量。故可将计算转化为,需要经历n个阶段1~阶段3的循环,才能把残压降至36V。由于T2为常数,所以关键在于T1的求解。为简化计算,认为M1导通时,电感L电流从0增至设备最高允许电流Ir的时间Tn内,电流的变化率保持不变,则Tn可表示为

式中,kn(0)为第n个循环0时刻电感电流的导数。根据式(13)得kn(0)为

式中,Un为第n个循环设备的初始残压。
利用Matlab进行上述计算,得到循环次数与残压的关系如图6所示,循环次数与M1导通时间的关系如图7所示。
根据计算结果,经过约106次循环后,设备残压降至接近0,M1导通总时间为181s。根据式(10)得T2约为6μs,则经过106次循环后,总时间为181s+6μs×106=187s。
由第1节可知,设备通过R0的放电时间为562s,增加本文所述电感放电回路后,总放电时间为562s× 187s/(562s+187s)≈140s,放电速度提高为原来的4倍。
保持线圈电感值L与线圈等效电阻RL不变,改变高压放电电阻Rp的数值,研究Rp对放电速度的影响。设置Rp的变化范围为20kΩ~2MΩ,根据3.1节的计算方法,利用Matlab计算得出不同Rp下的放电时间与过电压见表1
表1可知,Rp越大,放电时间越短,但元件所承受的瞬时过电压越高,并且放电时间与Rp存在明显的非线性,Rp越大,对放电速度的提升效果越不明显。根据计算结果及现有高压电阻的性能,放电电阻的阻值宜取为50~100kΩ。
保持线圈电感值L与高压放电电阻Rp不变,研究线圈等效电阻RL对放电速度的影响。设置RL的变化范围为10~2 000Ω,利用Matlab计算得出不同RL下的放电时间及MOSFET动作次数见表2
表2可知,RL在10~2 000Ω 范围内变化时,放电时间存在极值。RL越小,RLC回路电流达到设备电流限制值所需时间越短,但MOSFET动作次数增多,导致放电循环次数随之增多,因此总放电时间呈现增大的趋势。随着RL增大,MOSFET动作次数减少,放电循环次数也减少,但RLC回路电流达到设备电流限制值所需时间增加,导致每个循环周期的时间增大,最终总放电时间也呈现增大趋势。实际应用时,MOSFET动作次数越少越好,动作次数越多,对控制系统的性能及MOSFET寿命的设计要求越高。根据计算结果,综合考虑放电时间与MOSFET动作次数,线圈等效电阻取值应在200Ω 左右。
保持线圈等效电阻RL与高压放电电阻Rp不变,设置线圈等效电感值L的变化范围为5~1 000mH,研究线圈电感取值L与放电时间及MOSFET动作次数的关系。不同L下的放电时间及MOSFET动作次数见表3
根据表3可知,L越大,放电总时间越小,同时MOSFET动作次数越少。然而,L越大,线圈尺寸与制造成本会成倍增加,因此根据计算结果与现有电感制造水平,线圈电感值宜为100mH左右。
本文针对现有放电棒放电电阻设置不合理的问题,设计了一种快速放电回路,并利用Matlab仿真软件计算了不同放电回路参数下的放电时间,得出主要结论如下:
1)为保证放电电流不损坏设备,现有放电棒放电电阻通常设置得较大,不利于提高电力生产效率。
2)本文所述方法在放电回路中增加了电感吸能支路,通过控制开关元件实现电容放电功率的保持,提高了放电效率。
3)放电回路参数对放电速率有较大影响,实际应用时应根据设备、所采用元件的性能选择放电回路元件,以使放电速率达到最佳。
4)本文针对高压电容放电的研究结果可为电力生产、新能源汽车、超级电容储能等相关领域提供参考。
