The multi-point grounding fault of transformer core endangers the safe and stable operation of transformer. In this paper, the causes of the multi-point grounding fault of a 500 kV large capacity transformer core are analyzed in detail. By establishing the finite element model of the transformer, the three-dimensional electromagnetic field calculation software is used to simulate and analyze the transformer fault. Finally, the core structure improvement measures are proposed to avoid such faults and improve the safety performance of the transformer.

The multi-point grounding fault of transformer core endangers the safe and stable operation of transformer. In this paper, the causes of the multi-point grounding fault of a 500 kV large capacity transformer core are analyzed in detail. By establishing the finite element model of the transformer, the three-dimensional electromagnetic field calculation software is used to simulate and analyze the transformer fault. Finally, the core structure improvement measures are proposed to avoid such faults and improve the safety performance of the transformer.

电力变压器是电力系统中电能传输的关键设备,其安全稳定运行对整个电力系统具有重要意义[1]。铁心是变压器重要的磁路部分,在运行时需要保证一点可靠接地,当铁心或其他金属结构件存在两处及以上接地点时,接地点之间会形成闭合回路。如果交变磁通穿过该闭合回路,就可能产生几十安培甚至上千安培的环流[2]。变压器铁心多点接地故障是变压器在运行中发生的占比较高的故障类型,故障会导致铁心局部过热,从而使绝缘油和固体绝缘产生特征气体,严重时甚至熔断接地线或烧蚀铁心,极易导致轻瓦斯报警,甚至造成重瓦斯动作而跳 闸[3],影响变压器正常运行,尤其对于大容量变压器而言,多点接地危害更大,处理不当会引发更严重的事故[4-5]
文献[6]针对一起电炉变压器故障,通过特征气体分析找到变压器故障点,并对故障进行处理。文献[7]提出了包括故障发现到故障消除多环节的完整的铁心接地故障处理方法。文献[8]设计了一种监测装置,通过监测变压器铁心及夹件接地线的工频电流及高频脉冲电流信号,判断是否发生故障。文献[9]提出基于模糊决策的新三比值法,提高了特征气体故障分析的准确性。文献[10]基于有限元方法采用COMSOL仿真软件对配电变压器夹件与铁心接地故障进行仿真分析,并验证了模型的正确性。本文对一起500 kV大容量变压器现场典型停电事故进行故障分析,对故障电流和磁通变化进行有限元仿真研究,证明铁心多点接地对大容量变压器运行危害极大。
故障变压器额定电压为 525 3 /24 kV,额定容量为442 000 kV∙A,额定电流为1 430.9/18 417 A,联结组别Ii0(Ii0三相YNd11)。变压器器身如图1所示,变压器为单相四柱三框铁心、双器身结构。
铁心结构示意图如图2所示,为了防止变压器铁心金属结构件形成短路环,铁心叠片与撑板、腹板、拉带分别通过绝缘纸板隔绝。撑板与腹板连通,拉带的一端通过等电位线与一侧腹板连通。因此,腹板、撑板、拉带、等电位线及屏蔽罩构成一个等电位体,且由于拉带只有一端与腹板连通,未形成闭合回路,可防止环流产生。
变压器在2.5%负荷运行3天后,气体继电器突然发出重瓦斯跳闸信号。变压器停运后,分别对线圈直流电阻、线圈绝缘电阻及吸收比、铁心夹件绝缘电阻、套管介损及电容量等进行测量,结果无异常。提取内部油样化验发现烃类特征气体含量超标,并且有乙炔产生,油中溶解气体体积分数变化见表1
依据前述绝缘电阻、吸收比、介损等测量结果可以排除电气回路故障。根据DL/T 722—2014《变压器油中溶解气体分析和判断导则》中三比值法对故障气体含量进行分析,并判断故障为内部电弧放电且有绝缘炭化现象[11-13]
变压器排油后内检发现,高压侧上铁轭主柱框间一根拉带等电位线烧熔脱落,如图3(a)所示;相应低压侧金属屏蔽罩有放电痕迹,如图3(b)所示。通过核查设计图纸发现,为了改善拉带螺栓的电极形状,增加的金属屏蔽罩与低压引线导线夹固定板间隙只有几毫米,如图4所示。由于变压器运输或运行时振动等原因,屏蔽罩与腹板金属固定板接触,进而围绕上铁轭的腹板、撑板、拉带、等电位线、屏蔽罩及金属固定板构成了闭合的导电回路。铁心多点接地故障示意图如图5所示。
上述导电回路可等效为一单匝线圈套装在变压器上铁轭上,单匝等效线圈在变压器运行时有主磁通穿过,等效线圈中感应出电动势并产生电流。
由变压器原理可知[14]

式中:E为感应电动势有效值; Φ m为主磁通的最大值;N为线圈匝数;f为变压器运行时的额定频率。
感应电流的计算公式为
I = E R
式中:I为感应电流值;R为短路环等效电阻。
该变压器主磁通设计磁感应强度为1.698 T,主柱截面积为11 999.09 cm2,铁轭及旁柱截面积为主柱的二分之一,故假定闭合回路部分上铁轭中的磁通为主柱磁通的一半,则闭合回路的感应电动势有效值为226 V,忽略接触电阻,闭合回路的等效电阻计算值约为0.055 Ω,闭合回路的电流约为4 109 A,而等电位线截面积只有6 mm2,所以等电位线熔断。
变压器多点接地故障电流主要由铁心内主磁通感应产生,本质是涡流场问题,只是比正常铁心多一个连通域(等电位线)。因负载较小,在不考虑负载阻抗的情况下,依据该变压器的结构特点和技术参数,建立工程应用的1:1三维仿真模型,并利用Infolytica公司的Magnet三维电磁仿真软件进行有限元分析[15-16],模拟事故发生的真实工况,为故障分析提供数据支撑和验证。三维计算模型如图6所示。
短路环电流密度分布如图7所示,仿真结果显示短路环中铁心拉带电流密度平均值约为1.47× 106 A/m2,通过后处理对拉带截面积进行积分后计算电流为4 770 A。
正常状态空载运行时铁心磁感应强度分布如图8所示,由于铁心主柱框间油道的存在,铁心叠片被分成三个独立“口”字型铁心框。变压器正常运行时,中间铁心框中的磁感应强度高于两个边框,因为中间铁心框两个主柱同时励磁,边框只有一个柱励磁,中间铁心框的磁势为边框的两倍,虽然中间铁心框的磁路长度较长,磁阻较大,但没有达到边框的两倍,这也是仿真计算结果4 770 A与公式计算结果4 109 A相差661 A的主要原因。
故障状态空载运行时铁心磁感应强度分布如图9所示,故障状态下当中间铁心框上铁轭拉带处短接形成闭合回路时,中框磁通通路受阻,大部分磁通分布于边框,边框铁心磁通过饱和,导致部分主磁通通过气隙、周边金属结构件、中框非短路部分形成磁通路,若此状态持续时间较长,则可能出现铁心、金属结构件过热或烧毁。
针对图5进行故障分析,为避免铁心多点接地而产生环流,将可能形成的回路断开,对铁心结构进行改进,铁心结构改进方案如图10所示。
改进撑板与腹板连接结构,将图5中原连通结构更改为图10中绝缘结构,即螺栓安装处增加绝缘垫圈和绝缘管,使撑板与腹板完全断开。同时,改进拉带与腹板的等电位连接结构,将图5中拉带与高压侧腹板相连接的等电位导线改为通过铜垫圈与腹板接触。为防止屏蔽罩与相邻金属件接触,将拉带紧固螺母加工圆弧代替原金属屏蔽罩,并嵌在拉带板凹槽安装。改进后的拉带紧固螺母如图11所示。
通过上述结构改进,彻底阻断了由围绕上铁轭的腹板、撑板、拉带、等电位线、屏蔽罩及金属固定板等形成的导电回路,并且能有效防止由制造公差、振动造成结构件短接而引起的过热故障。
虽然铁心处于地电位区域,电场强度不高,但是多点接地会在结构件中感应出环流,对变压器造成不同程度的损伤,甚至烧毁变压器。本文通过对某大容量变压器的实际多点接地故障案例进行分析,提出了结构改进措施,从设计上防止铁心多点接地,消除故障隐患。
