In order to optimize the current stress of dual active bridge(DAB)converter,an improved dual phase shift (IDPS)modulation was proposed based on the traditional dual phase shift (DPS)modulation. Firstly,the working principle of IDPS modulation was introduced,its steady-state working characteristics were analyzed,and the mathematical model of current stress on transmission power was established. Then,the optimal value of current stress of IDPS modulation was obtained by using Lagrange multiplier method,and compared with traditional single phase shift(SPS) and DPS modulation methods. Finally,an experimental platform was built to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy in optimizing current stress,meanwhile,the efficiency of the converter was improved.

为了优化双有源桥(DAB)变换器的电流应力,基于传统双重移相(DPS)调制方式,提出一种改进的双重移相(IDPS)调制方式。首先介绍了IDPS调制方式的工作原理,分析了其稳态下的工作特性,建立了电流应力关于传输功率的数学模型,接着采用拉格朗日乘子法求得了IDPS调制方式的电流应力最优值,并与传统的单重移相(SPS)和DPS调制方式对比分析。最后搭建实验平台验证了所提改进控制策略优化电流应力的有效性,同时提高了变换器的效率。

为了优化双有源桥(DAB)变换器的电流应力,基于传统双重移相(DPS)调制方式,提出一种改进的双重移相(IDPS)调制方式。首先介绍了IDPS调制方式的工作原理,分析了其稳态下的工作特性,建立了电流应力关于传输功率的数学模型,接着采用拉格朗日乘子法求得了IDPS调制方式的电流应力最优值,并与传统的单重移相(SPS)和DPS调制方式对比分析。最后搭建实验平台验证了所提改进控制策略优化电流应力的有效性,同时提高了变换器的效率。

In order to optimize the current stress of dual active bridge(DAB)converter,an improved dual phase shift (IDPS)modulation was proposed based on the traditional dual phase shift (DPS)modulation. Firstly,the working principle of IDPS modulation was introduced,its steady-state working characteristics were analyzed,and the mathematical model of current stress on transmission power was established. Then,the optimal value of current stress of IDPS modulation was obtained by using Lagrange multiplier method,and compared with traditional single phase shift(SPS) and DPS modulation methods. Finally,an experimental platform was built to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy in optimizing current stress,meanwhile,the efficiency of the converter was improved.

双有源桥(dual active bridge,DAB)变换器因具备电气隔离、可高频化、结构对称等优点,在分布式发电、储能以及电动汽车等领域有着非常广泛的应用[1-3]
DAB变换器常用的控制策略是移相控制,单重移相(single phase shift,SPS)调制方式实现简单,但无法有效地优化电流应力[4]。扩展移相(extended phase shift,EPS)调制方式在一定程度上改善了电流应力大的状况,使得控制更加灵活[5-6]。在此基础上,双重移相(dual phase shift,DPS)调制方式被提出并引起学者广泛研究[7-8]。文献[9-10]推导了其电流应力的数学模型,得出其函数最优解,以减小电流应力,然而传统DPS调制方式对电流应力的优化效果十分有限。文献[11]提出了一种通过重新定义移相角约束关系的新的DPS调制方式,该种调制方式增大了移相角的调节范围,但没能实现对电流应力进一步的优化。文献[12]改变了传统DPS调制方式移相角之间的约束关系,提出一种新的DPS调制方式,电流应力得到优化,也提高了运行效率。
为进一步降低DAB变换器的电流应力,提出一种改进的双重移相调制方式(improved dual phase shift,IDPS)。首先推导分析了传输功率与电流应力的工作特性,接着采用拉格朗日乘子法得到了IDPS调制方式的最小电流应力以及对应移相角的解,并将电流应力优化效果与传统的SPS和DPS调制方式进行比较,最后通过实验验证了所提改进控制策略的有效性。
图1为DAB变换器的拓扑结构,由输入、输出侧结构对称的H桥、高频变压器、等效电感L以及两侧支撑电容C1和C2构成。V1V2分别为输入、输出侧直流电压;ULiL分别为电感上的电压和电流;UABUCD为两侧桥臂中点的输出电压。电压传输比定义为k=U1/(nU2)>1,n为变压器的变比。
DAB变换器稳态工作时,将一次侧折算到二次侧,以辅助电感为中心,两边的结构是对称的,故只需对正向传输模式分析即可,以正向传输降压模式(k>1,P>0)为例对变换器的工作特性和电流应力进行分析。
移相控制中,一、二次侧桥内移相角为D1D2,桥间移相角为D3。为实现对DAB变换器电流应力的优化,对传统DPS调制方式D1=D2的移相角约束关系进行重新定义,提出IDPS调制方式,使得二次侧桥内移相角D2与桥间移相角D3的大小相等,但方向相反,即D2=-D3=DS,将其作为一个控制自由度,一次侧桥内移相角D1作为另一个控制自由度。
DAB变换器在IDPS调制方式下工作在稳态时,根据移相角D1DS之间的约束关系,可将IDPS调制方式分为4个有效的工作区间,各区间的工作波形如图2所示。其中A区间与H区间、B区间与F区间、C区间与G区间、D区间与E区间的工作特性相同,只是传输功率方向相反,因此选择A区间、D区间、F区间和G区间4个传输功率方向为正的工作区间进行分析。
假设DAB运行于理想状态,即不考虑寄生参数和死区的影响,根据电感电流方向与开关管通断状态,可得到1个工作区间的多个工作状态。由于电感电流具有周期性和对称性,以D区间为例,对其前半个周期进行分析,图3为D区间各阶段的工作状态图。
工作状态1(t0t1):如图3a所示,iLt0时刻前的方向为正,t0时刻后,iL在此阶段内的方向仍为正,一次侧电流通过Q1,Q4导通续流,二次侧电流通过D5,D8导通续流,UAB=V1UCD=nV2,此阶段iL的表达式为

工作状态2(t1tZ0):如图3b所示,iL在此阶段的方向仍为正,一次侧电流通过Q1,D3导通续流,二次侧电流继续通过D5,D8导通续流,UAB=0,UCD=nV2iLtZ0时刻降至0。此阶段iL的表达式为

工作状态3(tZ0t2):如图3c所示,此阶段,一次侧电流通过D1,Q3导通续流,二次侧电流通过Q5和Q8导通续流,UABUCD不变,iLtZ0时刻从0反向增加。此阶段iL的表达式与上一阶段相同。
工作状态4(t2t3):如图3d所示,此阶段,iL方向为负,大小保持不变,一次侧电流通过D1,Q3导通续流,二次侧电流通过D6和Q8导通续流,UABUCD的值均为0,此阶段iL的表达式为

根据iL波形的对称性有iLt1)=-iLt4),结合各时刻移相比t1=(D1-1)Thst2=(DS-1)Thst3=ThsThs为0.5个周期,iL各时刻的临界值为

IDPS调制方式传输功率可表示为

为比较电流应力优化效果,需对P进行标幺化处理。选取 SPS调制方式最大传输功率Pb作为基准值,p为传输功率(标幺值),计算如下:

功率正向传输的4个区间的传输功率表达式如表1所示。IDPS调制方式的传输功率范围如图4所示。
A区间、D区间和F区间的传输范围为(0,0.5),G区间传输范围为(0,0.667),存在最大正向功率传输点pmax=0.667(标幺值)(D1=1.667,DS=0.333)。同时功率可反向传输,相对应的B区间、E区间和H区间的传输范围为(-0.5,0),C区间传输范围为(-0.667,0),存在反向最大功率传输点pmax=-0.667(标幺值)(D1=0.333,DS=1.667),增加了功率传输的适用范围。
电流应力影响着器件的最大通流能力,也影响着开关管的开关损耗、电感损耗,因此让变换器在较小的电流应力下工作是非常必要的。
根据工作特性的分析,可以得到各个工作区间的电流应力imax,表示为

式中:Ib为电流应力基准值;M为电流应力标幺值。
由式(7)和式(8)可求出电流应力标幺值,为求得IDPS调制的最小电流应力,需比较p>0的所有工作区间该值的大小,求取过程采用拉格朗日乘数法,构建拉格朗日函数为

式中:FD1DSλ)为构建的拉格朗日函数;MD1DS)为待求的电流应力标幺值的目标函数;pD1DS)为传输功率标幺值的约束条件。
按下式分别对M函数中的两个变量求偏微分,求解有:

式中:p0为传输功率的标幺值。
求得的移相角的组合解可使电流应力为最小值,IDPS调制方式各个工作区间的最小电流应力表达式如表2所示。
经过数学方法的推导与分析可得,当传输功率p<pT=(2k -2)/k2pT为切换工作区间的临界功率)时,变换器在IDPS调制方式下工作在D区间可获得最小电流应力值,此时移相角的组合解为
D 1 = 1 + p 2 ( k - 1 ) D S = 1 + k p 2 ( k - 1 )
当传输功率p>pT=(2k -2)/k2时,变换器在IDPS调制方式下工作在G区间可获得最小电流应力值,此时移相角的组合解为

图5为传统SPS,DPS与IDPS调制方式的最小电流应力对比图。
图5可知,在不同电压传输比下,IDPS调制方式较于SPS和DPS调制方式,在运行范围内均有着更小的电流应力。k越大,IDPS调制方式对电流应力的优化效果越明显,k较大时,依然能保持较低的电流应力。此外,IDPS调制方式在较低传输功率区间(p<pT)的优化效果更加显著,此时IDPS调制的最优工作区间位于D区间。IDPS调制方法关于电流应力的最优工作区间工作在较高的传输功率区间(p>pT)时切换到G区间,此区间内的电流应力优化效果下降,其值趋近于传统DPS调制方式。
为了验证IDPS调制方式优化电流应力策略的正确性与有效性,选择了TI公司的TMS320F28335作为主要控制芯片搭建硬件实验平台,主要参数如下:输入电压U1=48 V;电压传输比k为2~4,变压器变比n=1;C1=C2=1 000 μF;开关频率fs=50 kHz;等效漏感L=3 μH。
图6为电压传输比k=4、传输功率p=0.2,0.4(标幺值)的实验波形图。图6a图6d分别为p=0.2,0.4(标幺值)在SPS调制方式下的波形图,相对应的最小电流应力依次为50.1 A和52.2 A。图6b图6e分别为p=0.2,0.4(标幺值)在DPS调制方式下的波形图,相对应的最小电流应力依次为27.2 A和42 A。图6c图6f分别为p=0.2(标幺值),0.4(标幺值)在IDPS调制方式下的波形图,相对应的最小电流应力依次为21.6 A和30.4 A,相比于SPS调制方式最小电流应力分别优化了56.89%和41.76%,相比于DPS调制方式,最小电流应力分别优化了20.59%和27.62%。
图7为电压传输比k=2/4/6时电流应力和效率关于传输功率的实验曲线对比图,可看出IDPS调制下的电流应力与效率在运行范围内始终优于传统SPS和DPS调制。IDPS调制对电流应力的优化和效率的提升在较低的传输功率范围(p<pT)内更加明显,在传输功率较高时(p>pT),IDPS调制的电流应力和效率优于和趋近于传统DPS调制。这是由于随着传输功率的增加,IDPS调制最优工作区间从D区间转换到G区间,对电流应力的优化效果有所下降,一定程度上使得运行效率降低。
k=2/4/6时,IDPS调制下的电流应力相较于SPS调制分别最大优化了19.6 A,21.2 A,24.8 A,效率分别最大提升了11.34%,23.82%,37.51%,相较于DPS调制分别最大优化了5.8 A,11.6 A,15.4 A,效率分别最大提升了4.73%,8.43%,13.54%;k越大,电流应力和效率的优化越显著,原因在于k越大,IDPS调制能获得优化效果越好的电流应力,变换器的损耗在一定程度上得到了降低,运行效率得以提高。
为降低DAB变换器的电流应力,提出一种改进的双重移相(IDPS)调制方式。经过理论推导与分析可得,相较于传统SPS和DPS调制方式,IDPS调制方式在运行范围内均能进一步降低电流应力,在较低传输功率区间(p<pT)和电压传输比较大的情况下,效果更为显著。实验验证了理论分析的正确性和所提改进控制策略的有效性,实验结果同时表明,变换器的损耗也显著降低,运行效率得到大幅提高。
