A rotor position detection strategy based on virtual neutral point was proposed to realize position sensorless control of BLDC motor. Through the three-phase terminal voltage with the same value of three resistances star connection to construct a virtual neutral point,the relationship between the virtual neutral point voltage and commutation time of BLDC motor was analyzed. A conclusion was drawed that the moment when the virtual neutral point voltage through the DC bus midpoint is the zero-crossing time of the back electromotive force (BEMF),and the operation of the motor in each state,the effectiveness of zero-crossing signal of BEMF was further analyzed. The scheme was further verified by experiments,and the output of zero-crossing signal was realized by comparator. Compared with the conventional terminal voltage detection method,the system reduced two comparison detection circuits and has no phase shift. Experimental results show that the position of zero-crossing signal can be accurately determined by using this strategy,and the phase error caused by traditional BEMF method can be avoided.

提出了基于虚拟中性点的转子位置检测策略,以实现无刷直流电机的无位置传感器控制。通过三个阻值相同的电阻引入三相端电压,将这三个电阻星形连接构造虚拟中性点,分析了无刷直流电机虚拟中性点电压与换相时刻的对应关系,得出虚拟中性点电压通过直流母线中点的时刻即为反电动势过零时刻的结论,并进一步分析了电机运行中,各个状态下,反电动势过零信号的有效性问题。通过实验进一步验证了这一方案,以比较器实现了过零信号的输出。相比于常规的端电压检测方法,系统减少了两路比较检测电路,并且无相移。实验表明,采用这种策略可以准确地确定过零信号的位置,同时避免了传统反电动势法在检测过程中带来的相位误差。

提出了基于虚拟中性点的转子位置检测策略,以实现无刷直流电机的无位置传感器控制。通过三个阻值相同的电阻引入三相端电压,将这三个电阻星形连接构造虚拟中性点,分析了无刷直流电机虚拟中性点电压与换相时刻的对应关系,得出虚拟中性点电压通过直流母线中点的时刻即为反电动势过零时刻的结论,并进一步分析了电机运行中,各个状态下,反电动势过零信号的有效性问题。通过实验进一步验证了这一方案,以比较器实现了过零信号的输出。相比于常规的端电压检测方法,系统减少了两路比较检测电路,并且无相移。实验表明,采用这种策略可以准确地确定过零信号的位置,同时避免了传统反电动势法在检测过程中带来的相位误差。

A rotor position detection strategy based on virtual neutral point was proposed to realize position sensorless control of BLDC motor. Through the three-phase terminal voltage with the same value of three resistances star connection to construct a virtual neutral point,the relationship between the virtual neutral point voltage and commutation time of BLDC motor was analyzed. A conclusion was drawed that the moment when the virtual neutral point voltage through the DC bus midpoint is the zero-crossing time of the back electromotive force (BEMF),and the operation of the motor in each state,the effectiveness of zero-crossing signal of BEMF was further analyzed. The scheme was further verified by experiments,and the output of zero-crossing signal was realized by comparator. Compared with the conventional terminal voltage detection method,the system reduced two comparison detection circuits and has no phase shift. Experimental results show that the position of zero-crossing signal can be accurately determined by using this strategy,and the phase error caused by traditional BEMF method can be avoided.

无刷直流电动机具有结构简单、功率密度高、调速性能线性、运行可靠等显著优点,在航空航天、电动汽车、家用电器、智能机器人及工业产品等领域应用得越来越广泛。传统的无刷直流电动机通常通过安装在电机内部的位置传感器来检测转子位置,然而位置传感器的使用增加了电机的成本,在一些环境恶劣的条件下,位置传感器容易出现故障而造成电动机无法使用,降低了系统的可靠性[1~3]
为了解决这些问题,许多专家和学者对无位置传感器控制方式提出了多种解决方案,并取得了进步,其具备一些优势,比如提高了可靠性和抗干扰能力。常用的无位置传感器的检测方法有反电动势检测法、电感法、续流二极管检测法、线电压检测法等。文献[4-7]从不同的角度分析了线反电动势过零点直接作为换向点的方法,由于线反电动势不能直接获得,所以均需要有相应的算法进行计算,加大了计算量。文献[8-9]对于无位置传感器的无刷电机的启动均采取了脉冲注入法进行启动。文献[8]针对拧紧扳手的应用,提出了一种改进的三段式启动控制方法,在转子预定位阶段,将电压矢量的预定位精度控制在60°范围内,在加速阶段,通过6组加速脉冲电压矢量与6组检测脉冲电压矢量,完成闭环启动。文献[9]在预定位阶段施加短时检测脉冲来确定转子初始位置,在同步加速阶段针对不同负载情况计算换向点,并分析了加速过程中换相的准确性。文献[10]建立了无位置传感器无刷电机控制系统的仿真模型,并对给定转速、变负载情况下电机电枢电流、反电动势、电机转速、电磁转矩进行了分析。文献[11]提出了一种基于PWM_ON_PWM调制方式的无位置传感器控制方法,从三相端电压经过运放再合成的电压中提取反电动势信号,避免了传统方法低通滤波电路的相移问题。文献[12]直接采用非导通相的端电压与母线电压的1/2进行比较,从而直接得到过零点的方法,该方法不需要重构电机中性点,不受开关噪声影响,此方法需要对每一相都有单独的硬件电路进行处理。文献[13-15]均对换相过程中的电流、电压畸变而造成的干扰进行了不同方式的处理,适用于不同的应用场景。
本文基于端电压重构而成的虚拟中性点,采用三段式启动法,先将电机定位在固定的相位,然后加速到能获取稳定位置信息,使用硬件电路和软件结合的方法提取反电动势过零信息,实现了无刷直流电动机的无位置传感器控制,最后通过实验对上述结论进行了验证。
常规的无刷直流电机没有中性点引出,对于需要中性点来进行控制的方案,通常的做法是经端电压引出,用同样阻值的三个电阻星形连接构造出虚拟的中性点U0,通过各相端电压与中性点进行比较,从而得出过零信号[16]。本文采用虚拟中性点与母线电压的1/2进行比较,从中提取有效的过零信息,对无刷电机进行控制,三相BLDC电机虚拟中性点过零检测原理图如图 1 所示。
本文讨论的无刷直流电动机为方波无刷电机,三相绕组对称,忽略齿槽效应、电枢反应、磁路的非线性以及铁损,同时假定气隙磁场分布为120°的平顶梯形波,三相逆变器的功率管和续流二极管均为理想的开关器件。电机绕组为星形连接,通过逆变器进行驱动。驱动方式采用两两导通的三相六拍,每个电周期换向6次,120°导通方式。三相绕组端电压方程可以表示为

式中: u A u B u C为三相绕组端电压; u N为三相绕组中性点电压; R L M分别为电机相绕组电阻、自感、互感; i A i B i C为三相绕组相电流; e A e B e C为三相绕组反电动势。
对于三相Y接绕组,根据基尔霍夫节点电流定律,相电流存在如下关系:

对于无刷直流电机控制,由于每一时刻仅有两相导通,所以导通的两相内电流大小相等,方向相反,另一相悬空,相电流为零。由式(1)可得虚拟中性点U0电压:

根据无刷电机的控制方式,A相、B相导通时,式(5)可以进一步化简为

方案采用的是3个100 kΩ的电阻,±1%精度,按照最大的误差情况计算,KA-KB为0.006 7,由式(6)可以看出,由电阻偏差会导致虚拟中性点偏移,这样实际换相时会出现超前换相或者滞后换相,但此偏差所占比重较小,对换相点的影响有限,在工程中通常忽略。若采用±5%精度的电阻,此偏移会增大5倍。因此,实际工程中要选用高精度的电阻来构成虚拟中性点。
为了便于分析出虚拟中性点与换相的关系,忽略电阻偏差造成的影响,采用式(3)来简化推导。通过式(3)可以看出,虚拟中性点的电压信号与中性点电压以及各相反电动势均有关系,要从中提取出过零信号,需要进一步对其进行分解、化简。
根据电机学原理,相反电动势可以表示为

式中: N为相绕组匝数; S为绕组围成的面积; ω为电机角速度; B m为转子永磁体在气隙磁密分布的幅值; F A ( θ ) F B ( θ ) F C ( θ )分别为相反电动势的波形函数; k e为反电动势系数。
根据论文最初的假设,本文采用方波无刷电机,反电动势波形随转子位置角呈120°电角度平顶宽梯形分布,以下讨论均以此假设为条件。
为分析方便,在一个电周期[0,360°]内进行讨论,如图2所示,分为6个状态,分析的结论同样适用于后续的电周期。在每个状态,电机100%占空比运行,且不考虑换相影响。
在区间[0°,60°],Q6和Q1导通,电源电流通过Q1进入A相绕组,通过B相绕组经Q6返回电源地。此状态下,iAiB大小相等、方向相反,eAeB大小相等、符号相反,根据图1和式(1)得,此时三相绕组端电压为

在区间[0°,60°],正好是C相反电动势过零点出现的区间,由式(10)可以看出,U0的电压是母线电压的1/2和C相反电动势的1/3叠加。当U0 的电压等于母线电压1/2的时候,与C相反电动势的过零点重合,所以通过虚拟中性点的电压与母线电压的1/2进行比较,即可得到C相反电动势的过零信号。因为相反电动势过零后,延迟30°电角度,就是电机的换相点[12],所以当通过U0 得到过零信号之后,再延迟30°电角度,就可以获取准确的换相点。
其他区间虚拟中性点电压的推导类似,根据表1可得虚拟中性点电压分布图,如图3所示。
当占空比不为零时,控制方式采用上桥PWM调制、下桥恒导通。在区间[0°,60°],Q6和Q1同时导通时,结论同100%占空比一致。Q1关闭,Q6导通时,在Q1刚关闭时,由于A相绕组电感存在,电流不能立即为零,将通过D4续流至GND,端电压uA被钳位为0 V,根据图1和方程组式(1)得,三相绕组端电压为

在占空比小于100%的情况下,当上桥的MOSFET刚关闭,原来导通相的相电流没有达到零状态的时候,由式(15)可以得出,由于二极管的续流作用导致虚拟中性点的电压小于母线电压的1/2,从而出现假的过零信号。随着原来导通相的相电流为零,出现两相悬空、一相接地的状态,由式(18)可以得出,也有可能会出现假的过零信号。由式(20)和式(22)可以得出,无论占空比为多少,由于换相的原因,虚拟中性点的电压会钳位在固定的电压值,从而出现假的过零信号。
电机运行在以上这4种状态时,通过虚拟中性点是不能直接获得准确过零信息的,因此如果想要实现正常换相,需要在软件中进行处理,剔除这些无效状态。
在实际运行中,当占空比小于100%的时候,由于MOSFET的关断会导致虚拟中性点的电压受到影响,当虚拟中性点电压高于母线电压1/2的时候,过零信号会以与开关频率同频率的脉宽信号形式出现,开关器件导通的时候为高电平,关断的时候为低电平。在这种状态下,程序中需要软件进行过零有效性判断。当虚拟中性点电压低于母线电压1/2的时候,过零信号为低电平,只在换相的时候出现一个假的过零信号,这个信号宽度与PWM的频率无关,也与PWM的占空比大小无关,只与绕组中的电流以及电机的参数有关,这与前面的原理分析一致,这是因为在换相的瞬间,二极管续流出现,只有当续流结束的时候假的过零信号才会消失,在这种状态下,实际的程序中需要将这个信号剔除。
实验采用基于 STM32F103为处理器搭建的无刷直流电机驱动平台,实验所用电机为空心杯无刷电机,额定电压12 V,相电阻0.88 Ω,相电感0.054 mH,1对极,最高转速22 000 r/min。驱动平台架构框图如图4所示,主要包括三相逆变器、主控电路、预驱动电路、信号比较电路以及实验电机等部分。过零信号比较电路由比较器构成,输入为虚拟中性点以及母线电压的1/2。
由于电机停机状态下绕组内没有反电动势产生,因此无法直接启动换相,本方案启动采用三段式方式[9]。首先给任意两相绕组通电,将转子定位在固定的位置,然后给出占空比和换相频率逐渐增高信号使电机加速,当检测到稳定的过零信号时,切换至本文提出的无位置控制策略。启动加速状态、加载、20%占空比、100%占空比下的端电压虚拟中性点电压和过零信号分别如图5~图8所示。
无论从电机启动加速,还是加载以及稳态运行,均实现了无位置传感器无刷直流电机的可靠运行。
本文提出的基于虚拟中性点的无刷直流电动机无位置控制策略,具有硬件电路设计简单、易于实现的特点。相较于传统的反电动势转子位置检测方法,本文检测策略减少了两路电压比较电路,虚拟中性点通过端电压用同样阻值的三个电阻Y形连接构成,由其电压与母线电压的1/2进行比较,从中提取出反电动势过零的位置信号。这种方法不需要传统方法中使用的低通滤波电路,从而避免了随转速变化的相移问题。通过实验结果验证,本文策略能够较准确地检测到反电动势过零位置,是一种简单有效的直流无刷电动机转子位置检测方法。该研究对于无位置传感器无刷直流电机的应用具有实际意义,能够降低电机控制成本、提高可靠性,并且简化了硬件电路的设计。
