In order to address the issue of large output voltage variation from self-powered current transformer in smart measurement switch,ultra wide input voltage range post-stage DC-DC module is required to generate stable system voltage rails. A ultra wide input DC-DC module based on constant on-time control and asynchronous Buck circuit operating in discontinuous mode was proposed. Accroding to the gap between intput voltage and output voltage,variable frequency control and quasi-fixed freqency control were combined. With large voltage gap conversion realized,this DC-DC module also features super fast dynamic response. PSIM software was used to analyze and verify the characteristics of the propsed DC-DC module. A 5 W hardware prototype was fabricated and tested to produce key experimental waveforms. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed DC-DC module has features of ultra wide input range,super fast dynamic response and high stability.

为了解决智能量测开关内部自取电电流互感器输出电压变化大的问题,需要在后级级联具有超宽输入电压范围的DC-DC模块来产生稳定的系统供电电压。研究了一种基于恒定开通时间控制和断续模式非同步Buck电路的超宽输入DC-DC模块。根据输入电压和输出电压的差距大小,采用变频和准定频分段控制方式。实现大压差功率变换的同时,该DC-DC模块还具有极快的动态响应。利用PSIM软件对DC-DC模块电路的特性进行仿真分析和验证。研制了一台功率为5 W的硬件样机进行测试,给出了部分关键实验波形。实验结果表明,该DC-DC模块具有输入范围超宽、动态响应极快和稳定性高的特点。

为了解决智能量测开关内部自取电电流互感器输出电压变化大的问题,需要在后级级联具有超宽输入电压范围的DC-DC模块来产生稳定的系统供电电压。研究了一种基于恒定开通时间控制和断续模式非同步Buck电路的超宽输入DC-DC模块。根据输入电压和输出电压的差距大小,采用变频和准定频分段控制方式。实现大压差功率变换的同时,该DC-DC模块还具有极快的动态响应。利用PSIM软件对DC-DC模块电路的特性进行仿真分析和验证。研制了一台功率为5 W的硬件样机进行测试,给出了部分关键实验波形。实验结果表明,该DC-DC模块具有输入范围超宽、动态响应极快和稳定性高的特点。

In order to address the issue of large output voltage variation from self-powered current transformer in smart measurement switch,ultra wide input voltage range post-stage DC-DC module is required to generate stable system voltage rails. A ultra wide input DC-DC module based on constant on-time control and asynchronous Buck circuit operating in discontinuous mode was proposed. Accroding to the gap between intput voltage and output voltage,variable frequency control and quasi-fixed freqency control were combined. With large voltage gap conversion realized,this DC-DC module also features super fast dynamic response. PSIM software was used to analyze and verify the characteristics of the propsed DC-DC module. A 5 W hardware prototype was fabricated and tested to produce key experimental waveforms. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed DC-DC module has features of ultra wide input range,super fast dynamic response and high stability.

近年来,为了提升低压分布式光伏并网运行的可靠性、安全性以及能够实现整个低压分布式光伏系统的可观、可测和可控,智能量测开关得到越来越多的关注和应用[1-2]。智能量测开关是低压分布式光伏系统并网时能量流、信息流和业务流的掌控者,其性能好坏直接关系到系统的安全性、智能性和经济性,具有重要的经济价值和重大的社会意义。
智能量测开关内部系统供电的可靠性无疑对产品自身的稳定运行起到决定性作用。系统电源通常由常规AC-DC电源、后备电源和自取电电源三部分组成。三者相互配合,在不同工况下为智能量测开关系统提供稳定的电源。基于电磁感应原理,自取电电源通常采用电流互感器从一次侧获取电能[3-4]。考虑到配电线路上电流的超宽范围变化,电流互感器二次侧输出电压的范围同样很大,典型值为25∶1。因此,电流互感器的后级需要级联适合超宽范围输入电压的DC-DC模块。由于二次侧负载供电电压较低,因此DC-DC模块的拓扑首选Buck电路。考虑到智能量测开关内部的信号链负载功耗通常极低,因此DC-DC模块的输出功率一般较小。在高频小功率降压电路应用中,为了尽量减小开关损耗,通常不会选择使用同步整流技术,而是直接利用肖特基二极管进行续流[5]。在DC-DC模块的控制策略方面,目前比较流行的PWM控制方法具有成熟和稳定的优点。但是在输入电压和输出电压相差较大时,Buck电路工作在极小占空比状态。此时,电路效率、器件应力和EMI性能都相对较差[6-7]。并且,传统PWM控制方法在动态响应速度方面不及非线性控制方法。恒定开通时间控制是一种基于输出电压纹波反馈的大信号非线性变频控制方法,具有补偿简单、动态响应极快等优势[8-10]。由于变频工作的特性,这种控制方法非常适合大压差功率变换应用。当输入电压和输出电压相差较大时,尽管电路工作在极小占空比状态,但开关频率也变得较低,从而保证较高的变换效率。另一方面,当输入电压输出电压差距相对较小时,可以采取实时量测输入电压并进行开关频率控制的方法来实现准定频工作[11-13]
本文针对智能量测开关内部自取电电流互感器输出电压变化范围大的问题,研究一种基于恒定开通时间控制的降压型超宽范围输入电压DC-DC模块。在实际应用中,考虑到负载电流较小,因此设计DC-DC模块工作在电感电流断续模式。在断续模式中,每个开关周期中电感电流都从零开始变化,使得DC-DC模块具有天然的稳定性和较低的开关损耗。此外,若负载对电压纹波大小有较高的要求,该DC-DC模块也可以工作在电感电流连续模式以满足此性能要求。根据输入电压与输出电压的差距大小,灵活采用变频与准定频分段控制的方式,以保持较高的变换效率。同时,该DC-DC模块还具有极快的动态响应和准定频工作的特点,适合为智能量测开关系统中高速、高算力的负载供电。
智能量测开关作为低压配网中关键的保护装置和量测设备,其系统内部供电的稳定性和可靠性十分重要。通常智能量测开关的内部供电由常规AC-DC电源、后备电源(电池或超级电容)以及自取电电源三部分相互配合来实现。其中,自取电电源基于电流互感器从一次侧导线获取电能,经过暂态抑制电路、二次侧整流滤波电路和DC-DC模块得到稳定的低压输出,自取电电路示意图如图1所示。当常规AC-DC电源由于故障或其它原因无法工作时,自取电电路会取而代之,为系统提供稳定的电源[14]
暂态抑制电路用来抑制由一次侧线路中的瞬态尖峰耦合到二次侧的尖峰电压。整流滤波电路则将电流互感器二次侧的交流波形整理成叠加一定纹波的直流电压。低压配网一次侧线路上的负荷电流变化范围非常大,典型值通常大约在25∶1。因此,电流互感器的输出电压具有相应的变化范围。这就要求后级DC-DC模块在超宽范围电压输入的情况下,能够稳定和高效地工作。
考虑电流互感器输出电压范围和与低压负载之间较大的压差以及较低的输出功率,因此选择经典的非同步整流Buck电路作为功率拓扑。使用肖特基二极管作为电感电流续流器件,不仅可以减小反向恢复损耗和降低EMI,而且无需驱动、简单易用。图2为DC-DC模块主电路的示意图,VIVO分别为输入电压和输出电压,SB和DS分别为主控开关及其寄生体二极管,DB为续流肖特基二极管,LB和CB组成输出滤波电路。其中,VI来自电流互感器输出。由于电流互感器测量的配电线路电流变化范围很宽,因此电流互感器二次侧输出电压即DC-DC模块的输入电压也具有很宽的电压范围。
本文中DC-DC模块电路工作在电感电流断续状态,具有天然的稳定性。DC-DC模块功率级电路的工作模态有以下三种:
1)SB导通、DB关断,LB电流线性上升。在上升过程中,当LB电流小于负载电流时,CB放电;当LB电流大于负载电流时,CB充电。
2)SB关断、DB导通,LB电流线性下降。在下降过程中,当LB电流大于负载电流时,CB充电;当LB电流小于负载电流时,CB放电。
3)SB关断、DB关断,LB电流下降为零。CB放电并单独为负载供电。
在电感电流断续的情况下,DC-DC模块的电压增益如下式所示[15]

式中:D为稳态工作时的占空比;RL为负载电阻;TS为开关频率; Δ I L为电感电流纹波。
图3为准定频恒定开通时间控制示意框图。输出电压VO经过电阻R1和R2分压后得到的VFB输入高速比较器U3的负端。同时,VFB与参考基准U5的电平VREF作比较。当VFB<VREF时,Ton发生器开始输出一段恒定时间的高电平。这段恒定时间结束后,Ton发生器输出低电平直到VFB再次小于VREF,开启下一个开关周期。图4给出准定频恒定开通时间控制的主要工作波形。
DC-DC模块输出电压的纹波来源于电感电流纹波,而电感电流纹波的上升和下降斜率以及幅值受到输入电压和输出电压的影响,从而导致开关频率间接受到影响。在本文的应用中,输出电压是固定的。因此,需要研究如何抑制输入电压的变化对开关频率的影响。通过分压电阻R3和R4检测输入电压的变化,当输入电压和输出电压差距较大时,采用变频控制;当输入电压和输出电压差距较小时,采用准定频控制。两种控制方式的切换点设计主要考虑对效率的影响。由于在电感电流断续模式下,影响DC-DC模块效率的因素相对较多且分析复杂,因此本文采取实测的方法来确定切换点,如后文实验部分所述。在切换过程中,另外一个需要考虑的问题是如何保证平滑过渡以及尽量减小冲击。本文采用设置微小电压滞环的方式,当输入电压高于滞环上限VIU时工作在变频控制,当输入电压低于滞环下限VIL时工作在准定频控制。根据Ton与占空比的关系和式(1)可得开关频率fS如下式所示:

可以看出,当TonVI反比例变化时,开关频率可维持恒定。
图5给出一种开关频率自适应的Ton发生器电路。采用一个恒流源U6对电容CT进行充电,恒流源的电流IC与输入电压VI成正比,如下式所示:

将式(5)、式(6)两式组合整理,可得各个系数之间的关系如下式所示:

当CT电压充到与输出电压VO相等时,高速比较器U7的输出电平翻转,结束一个Ton脉冲。可以看出,当输入电压VI越大时,相应的恒流源电流越大,CT电压上升斜率越陡并能更快地触发比较器。因此,Ton会相应变小,反之亦然。
图4中可以观察到,传统的恒定开通时间控制属于纹波谷底控制。因此,VFB电压的直流分量VFBDC与参考基准VREF之间存在误差,也就是说,实际输出电压与所设定的目标值之间存在误差。为了解决这个问题,引入一个慢速误差放大器U4来调节实际输出电压与参考基准之间的误差,将此误差经过放大后补偿到参考基准上,即可消除实际输出电压的稳态误差。这种方法相当于引入一个电压外环进行反馈闭环控制,实际设计时可以采用PI补偿器,传递函数如下式所示:

通过仿真软件对理论分析进行模拟验证是一种合理高效的研究方法。本文在PSIM仿真环境中建立基于准定频恒定开通时间控制的断续模式非同步Buck电路模型,对前文理论分析过程和结论进行验证。输入电压范围为7~160 V,分界点设在80 V。当输入电压大于80 V时,采用变频控制;反之则采用准定频控制。电路模型的主要参数如下:输入电压VI为7~160 V,电感LB为3.3 μH,电容CO为68 μF,电容CT为1 nF,输出电压VO为5 V,输出电流IO为1 A,开关周期TS为10~20 μs,系数kC为15e-6。
图6图7分别给出了输入电压为90 V和120 V时,DC-DC模块的输出电压、开关器件门极驱动以及电感电流波形。在90~160 V区间内,由于具有变频功能,从仿真结果可以看出,两种情况下开关频率分别为90 kHz和50 kHz。随着输入电压的不断升高,开关频率逐步下降,从而减小开关损耗,使得DC-DC模块维持较高的变换效率。
图8图9分别给出了输入电压为8 V和70 V时,DC-DC模块的输出电压、开关器件门极驱动以及电感电流波形。在7~80 V区间内,由于具有频率自适应功能,从仿真结果可以看出,两种情况下开关频率均为100 kHz。当输入电压为8 V时,占空比为0.4;当输入为70 V时,占空比为0.03。经过验算,仿真结果与式(1)计算结果一致。
图6~图9的仿真结果可以看出,基于准定频和变频结合方式且工作在电感电流断续模式的DC-DC模块在超宽范围输入电压应用场景下能够稳定工作,从而证明了本文所提方案的有效性和理论分析的正确性。
对一台输入电压范围为7~160 V,功率为5 W的DC-DC模块实验样机进行测试。在输入电压为120 V时,捕捉了输出电压纹波、二极管电压和电感电流波形,如图10所示。此时开关频率为50 kHz,DC-DC模块工作在电感电流断续模式,输出纹波峰峰值约为20 mV。可以看出,在降频工作的情况下,恒定开通时间Ton约为4 μs,DC-DC模块工作状态稳定。
对DC-DC模块进行负载跳变实验,负载电流在100 mA和550 mA之间进行加载和卸载。图11给出了输出电压和负载电流的波形。加载过程动态调整时间约为30 μs,卸载过程动态调整时间约为25 μs。可以看出,由于采用了恒定开通时间控制方法,DC-DC模块的动态响应相当迅速。
在全范围输入电压内,选取8个输入电压值针对DC-DC模块的实际开关频率和满载效率进行量测,输入电压滞环环宽为100 mV,开关频率的变化趋势曲线如图12所示。在80 V以下时,由于采用准定频控制,开关频率基本控制在100 kHz。考虑到电路中的器件和布线的寄生参数,开关频率略有微小波动,可以忽略不计。在80 V到120 V区间内,开关频率较为陡峭地下降,以降低开关损耗。在120 V到160 V区间,考虑到日内配网中实际承担大负荷时间所占比例较低,因此设计较为缓和的开关频率下降曲线。图13给出了相应输入电压时DC-DC模块的满载效率。在80 V以下时,由于采用准定频控制,随着占空比逐渐减小,效率呈现逐渐下降趋势。当输入电压升高至80 V以上,开关频率开始下降。此时输入电压相对较低,因此开关频率的降低较为显著地减小了开关损耗,使得效率提升较为明显。随着输入电压变得越来越高,尽管开关频率也在下降,但效率上升的趋势变缓。从实测结果来看,输入电压全范围内DC-DC模块的效率均高于75%,满足实际性能要求的同时降低了对散热设计的挑战。
本文分析和研究了一种用于智能量测开关内部供电的DC-DC模块。基于恒定开通时间控制方法对工作在电感电流断续模式的非同步Buck电路进行控制。根据输入电压的大小,采用准定频和变频相结合的方式进行分段控制,以在高压输入工况下降低开关损耗。探讨了准定频控制的实现方法和相关电路设计。通过仿真模拟和样机测试的方法验证了理论分析的正确性和方案的有效性。实验结果表明,本文研究的DC-DC模块具有输入范围宽、动态响应快以及稳定性高的特点。下一步的研究工作主要有以下两方面:
1)准定频控制与变频控制切换点选择与效率之间关系的定性分析和定量实验研究;
2)功率级电路的优化设计以提升DC-DC模块整体效率。
