The VPX power standard is currently the most compatible military embedded computer standard internationally, and its modules can stably power multiple different functional modules in the chassis. A VPX power board based on VITA46 and VITA62 standards was designed. The design architecture, ideas, and functions of the 6U structure power supply board were mainly introduced. The circuit characteristics of hardware protection, slow start, acquisition, and DCDC module power supply were analyzed. The software working mode, management process, and external structure design were described. Maxwell thermal simulation was used to analyze the working status of the board in high temperature environments. Finally, the stability and reliability of the board's power on timing were tested through experiments, and load stability and voltage stability under load. Through the research and development of software and hardware, the proposed design has accumulated some experience in terms of autonomous hardware design, software adaptation, and other aspects.

VPX电源标准是目前国际上兼容性最好的军用嵌入式计算机规范,其模块可为机箱中的多个不同功能模块稳定供电。因此设计了一种基于VITA46以及VITA62标准的VPX电源板卡。主要介绍了6U结构电源板卡的设计架构、思路以及所实现的功能,分析了硬件保护、缓启、采集以及DCDC模块电源的电路特性,阐述了软件工作模式、管理流程以及外部结构的设计方式,并通过Maxwell热仿真分析了高温环境下板卡的工作状态,最后通过试验测试了板卡上电时序的稳定性与可靠性,以及带载下负载稳定度与电压稳定度。通过软硬件的研发,所提设计在自主化硬件设计、软件适配等方面积累了一定的经验。

The VPX power standard is currently the most compatible military embedded computer standard internationally, and its modules can stably power multiple different functional modules in the chassis. A VPX power board based on VITA46 and VITA62 standards was designed. The design architecture, ideas, and functions of the 6U structure power supply board were mainly introduced. The circuit characteristics of hardware protection, slow start, acquisition, and DCDC module power supply were analyzed. The software working mode, management process, and external structure design were described. Maxwell thermal simulation was used to analyze the working status of the board in high temperature environments. Finally, the stability and reliability of the board's power on timing were tested through experiments, and load stability and voltage stability under load. Through the research and development of software and hardware, the proposed design has accumulated some experience in terms of autonomous hardware design, software adaptation, and other aspects.

VPX标准是2007年在VME总线基础上提出的新一代高速串行总线标准,具有模块化、通用化、扩展化、开放性以及高可靠性等特点[1],采用高速差分信号传输技术,并且在机械结构和导冷抗震方面具有优势[2]。随着电子信息技术和计算机技术的发展,VPX标准总线已经成为新一代的工业标准总线,VPX主要优势是能够在恶劣的环境下保持系统之间的互连高速和性能稳定,并且增加了背板的带宽,继承了更多的IO,扩展了格局布局[3]。其它文献欠缺VPX板卡的整体化、工程化流程的设计思路及实物验证。
结合实际工程,本文设计了一种6U的VPX电源板卡,采用隔离式DCDC电源模块,按需输出多路大电流,为后级设备供电;并且设计上电时序,提高稳定性;同时板卡能够监测自身健康状态,经IIC总线与上位机进行通信,实时监测状态;此外,板卡具有良好的散热结构,可保证其可靠工作,以满足复杂的工作环境需求[4]
VPX电源模块为其它板卡供电[5]。总体架构图如图1所示,在硬件方面,电源模块包含EMI滤波、输入防反接、辅助电源、隔离电源、滤波电路、控制器等多种电路。首先外部会提供28~36 V供电电压,经过滤波,防反接为隔离电源模块供电。在软件方面,上电控制由MCU发出信号,经过所设计的时序电路,3.3 V-5 V会先于12 V电压50 ms上电。其次,模块能够智能监控采集自身输出电压、电流及温度状态,并通过总线接口与机箱管理单元进行通信。下面分别对软硬件、结构设计及实验进行分析。
输入端滤波采用共模电感和Y电容进行EMI滤波,降低输入纹波,选用两共模电感并联均流的方式进行设计。同时输入端电路具有反接保护、过压、欠压保护及缓启功能。
受限于体积、降额等影响因素,经计算输入电流为33~62 A,可得到每个电感电流Ie=36 A。缓启及防反接路图如图2所示,采用两路并联且每路并联3个MOS管的方式来实现均流,同时也采用前3个MOS管进行防反接,MOS管驱动电压VGS为8~20 V,临界值为20 V。采用稳压管将电压稳定在10 V,RC缓启电路能够减小上电时冲击电流对电路的影响。
为了防止输入过压过流,本文设计了保护电路,通过分压原理,所设置的过压点为40 V,欠压点为17 V,采用基准电压设置2.5 V,通过双差分比较器检测输入电压,当发生过压或者欠压时,MCU会收到报警信号,同时进行动作,关断工作设备。
主回路主要包括12 V和3.3 V-5 V的DC/DC隔离电源,采用单路12 V输出的DC/DC变换器,输入电压范围为16~40 V,具备并联均流功能;单路3.3 V-5 V输出的DC/DC变换器,输入电压范围为18~36 V。为了保证电源工作的时序性,同时设计了启停控制电路,使得小电压电路先于大电压电路上电。
图3为12 V电源模块的转换电路,该电路采用两个半砖模块并联实现,并联控制优先选用模块自带Share信号引脚进行并联均流控制,因此最大输出电流能达到80 A,在每个模块输出端会并联3个MOS管进行均流。3.3 V-5V电源模块转换电路输出端采用LC二阶滤波电路(模块中含电感),两个模块的输出端最后连接到一起冗余设计,共同提供输出。两个转换电路均采用MOS管防倒灌来保护电路,通过比较器比较MOS管漏源两端的电压,当漏极电压小于源极电压时,栅极电压将会被拉高至大于源极,即VGS=12 V导通,电源正常工作。
电流采样电路采用差分电路,经过运放将电流信号转换为ADC可以采样的低电压范围,保证了采样的精确性。电压采样电路,直接采用电阻分压形式将电压转换为ADC可采样的范围。具体电路图如图4所示。
电源模块中MCU选用ARM芯片来实现检测和控制功能,芯片接收输入过欠压检测信号、各路输出电压电流信号以及温度信号,实现对电源模块的监测和控制,并以I2C通信方式和外部板卡进行数据传输。MCU控制电路采用最小系统配置,并配置有8路ADC采样通道,分别采集两路12 V电压、电流和两路3.3 V-5 V电压、电流。配置有调试参数存储用Flash芯片,另配置有温度采样电路,芯片采用外部传感芯片用以监控系统温度。
具体的软件控制平台流程图如图5所示。电源模块软件按照VITA46.11标准的规定和要求[6],开展软件的需求分析、概要设计等工作。电源模块由IPMC提供机箱管理访问本地FRU的接口,功能包括:响应系统IPMB总线命令及错误处理;温度及电压、电流等传感器监测;实现机箱管理访问控制的FRU的信息;产生告警信息并向机箱管理软件上报。上位机对实际机箱进行了数据模拟,使得上传的数据在距离较远处能够更加方便观察与监测。
电源软件模块整体划分为:CPU初始化模块、定时器任务模块、电源AD数据采集和处理模块、电源I/O量采集处理任务模块、I2C通信协议解析并执行回令任务模块。
其中,电源AD数据采集和处理模块对电压电流及温度进行采样,同时将检测到的信号进行判断,根据需求设置高温告警值和过欠压告警值,并将电源的状态向机箱管理单元进行数据上报;I2C通信任务模块是电源模块通过I2C通信方式与主控计算机进行信息交互,通信标准满足VITA46.11。电源模块会向主控计算机上报电源状态信息,包括电源模块自身的FRU信息、电源输出电压电流和电源模块的温度信息以及故障信息。同时,电源模块也会根据主控计算机的指令进行相应的动作。
电源模块的结构设计采用导冷结构。模块采用铝板整铣结构,分上、下盖板两部分,导冷设计体现在主板上,其主要散热器件通过导热垫与模块散热器进行接触,将热量传导到模块的表面,通过与机箱壁和导轨贴合把热量带出到机箱外部。导冷电源模块的三维图如图6所示。
为了确保在高温环境下板卡的工作状态正常,对板卡进行热设计仿真时考虑电源模块在整机内的散热情况,按壳温考核时,可将电源模块内部结构简化为单一实体模型,通过Maxwell建模,仿真求解后,温度分布如图7所示,60 ℃环境温度时,模块壳温为96.2 ℃。模块壳温未超过模块的最高工作壳温100 ℃,即电源模块在此种工况下,可以长期工作。
本文设计出样机实物图如图8所示。
为了保证设备可靠上电,本文设计了上电缓启,包括输入端电路缓启以及电源模块缓启,通过四输入与非门进行电路设计,最后通过波形采集对上电动作进行分析研究。
输入端电路缓启时间t可以根据下式进行计算:

电源模块缓启电路采用四输入与非门,VDD=3.3 V,触发电压为2.2 V,根据式(1)进行计算可得t=29 ms,由于模块自身有24 ms的启动时间,因此小模块先于大模块53 ms启动。具体波形如图9所示,与计算结果一致。
为了验证模块带载状态下的输出稳定性,需要对其在18 V,28 V,36 V 3种输入电压下进行负载稳定度测试,并且加负载电流额定值80 A/10 A时进行电压稳定度测试。最终测试结果应满足负载稳定度SL≤0.5%,电压稳定度SV≤0.5%。

式中: ΔVO为输出电压偏差值;VOL为输入18 V时的输出电压;VOM为输入28 V时的输出电压;VOH为输入36 V时的输出电压。
对12 V及3.3 V模块进行负载稳定度和电压稳定度测试,具体测试结果如表1表2所示。
经测试,12 V输出及3.3 V输出的负载稳定度和电压稳定度均满足稳定性要求。
本文基于VITA46及VITA62标准,设计了6U的DCDC电源板卡,包括硬件保护、缓启,软件采集控制及上位机交互设计,通过热仿真验证工况下的工作状态,最后设计出实物,并对带载状态下模块的波形、数据进行分析,验证了其实用性。该模块具有较强的通用性,结构紧凑,集成度高,有较高的可靠性等优势,能够满足当前重要工业应用场景的高性能和高可靠性要求。
