Based on the parallel structure of high-power converter system,a high real-time and high synchronization optical-fiber communication scheme was proposed. The on-fly transmission ensures that the communication between the controllers has a low delay,and the clock synchronization algorithm compensates the time-difference between the master-controller and slave-controller,which ensure clock synchronization of all the controllers in the system to reduce circulation and its harm. When the system needs to run down or has a serious fault,the system could respond in time by changing the number of slave controllers in the optical-fiber communication network actively or passively,which provided flexible communication solutions for high power converter systems. The experimental results show that the proposed optical-fiber communication scheme is effective.

针对大功率变频器系统的并联结构,提出了一种高实时高同步的光纤通信方案。飞速传输方式保证各控制器间通信具备较低延时;时钟同步算法补偿从控制器与主控制器的时钟偏差,保证系统内所有控制器的输出信号高度同步,减小环流及其危害。当系统需要降额运行或者发生严重故障时,所提方案能够及时响应主动或被动改变光纤通信网络中控制器的数量,为大功率变频器系统提供灵活的通信解决方案。实验验证了所提光纤通信方案的有效性。

针对大功率变频器系统的并联结构,提出了一种高实时高同步的光纤通信方案。飞速传输方式保证各控制器间通信具备较低延时;时钟同步算法补偿从控制器与主控制器的时钟偏差,保证系统内所有控制器的输出信号高度同步,减小环流及其危害。当系统需要降额运行或者发生严重故障时,所提方案能够及时响应主动或被动改变光纤通信网络中控制器的数量,为大功率变频器系统提供灵活的通信解决方案。实验验证了所提光纤通信方案的有效性。

Based on the parallel structure of high-power converter system,a high real-time and high synchronization optical-fiber communication scheme was proposed. The on-fly transmission ensures that the communication between the controllers has a low delay,and the clock synchronization algorithm compensates the time-difference between the master-controller and slave-controller,which ensure clock synchronization of all the controllers in the system to reduce circulation and its harm. When the system needs to run down or has a serious fault,the system could respond in time by changing the number of slave controllers in the optical-fiber communication network actively or passively,which provided flexible communication solutions for high power converter systems. The experimental results show that the proposed optical-fiber communication scheme is effective.

变频器广泛应用于冶金、石油、化工、纺织、电力、建材、煤炭等各个领域,是利用电力电子器件的开通与关断将工频电源变换为另一频率的电能控制装置。
某些应用场合需要大功率电机,因此需要大功率变频器配套驱动。单机变频器最大容量受电力电子器件、散热技术和成本因素等限制,功率无法做得太高。实际现场通常采用多台同型号变频器并联的方式进行驱动。这种方式具有效率高、容量配置灵活、维护方便等特点。
变频器并联工作时,各变频器功率单元的驱动脉冲信号必须同时触发,否则会导致装置间产生环流。设备间环流轻则会造成功率损耗,重则会损坏设备。目前,并联变频器之间大多采用星形或环形的拓扑通信方式。但随着并联设备数量的增加,星型拓扑主控制器的硬件设计复杂,且布线繁琐。而采用环形拓扑通信方式的主从控制器,当传送信号线损坏时,并联系统需要整体停机,应用受限[1-3]
针对大功率变频器并联系统现有技术的不足,本文提出了一种大功率变频器系统的光纤通信方案。本通信方案实时性高,能够保证驱动信号同步性高。针对降额运行、设备严重故障等情况,本文给出了通信方面的解决方案,可以维持电网稳定运行,能够快速准确地给出最优负荷转供方案,极大提升了调度员的工作效率。
大功率变频器系统一般采用分布式并联结构,包括主控制器、从控制器和功率单元。一般情况下,系统只有一个主控制器,主控制器通过信号线连接多个从控制器;每个从控制器通过信号线与对应的功率单元相连;多个功率单元并联,共同驱动电机转动。
主控制器用于启停逻辑、工艺控制和矢量控制等,采用数字信号处理器(digital signal processing,DSP)和现场可编程门阵列(field-programmable gate array,FPGA)实现。从控制器用于采集功率单元的电压、电流,同时根据主控制器的各运算给定值生成脉冲宽度调制(pulse width modulation,PWM)信号,以驱动功率单元,采用FPGA实现。功率单元包含驱动及保护电路信号,根据PWM信号驱动电机转动。
系统信号包括驱动信号、保护信号和各控制器之间的通信信号。采用光纤能够增强系统通信信号的抗电磁干扰能力,提高各信号之间传递的速度和准确性。本文采用如图1所示的通信拓扑结构,大功率变频器系统的主、从控制器之间,采用链式拓扑的通信方式。主控制器有一对光纤端口,从控制器有两对光纤端口,每两个站之间通过一对光纤实现通信连接。在链式结构中,每一个站作为一个通信路由器,理论上最多可以连接255个从控制器。
通信采用异步串行方式,分为物理层和协议层。物理层实现数据恢复和串并转换,可以使用专用芯片实现,例如物理层(physical layer,PHY)芯片;也可以使用FPGA开发实现。协议层实现通信协议解析,基于FPGA实现。
主从控制器之间的通信是本方案的关键,必须要保证信号具备较高的同步性。每个从控制器通过电气信号连接对应的功率单元,实现对功率单元的控制。从控制器将主控制器给定值与PWM载波比较后生成绝缘栅双极型晶体管(insulated gate bipolar transistor,IGBT)驱动信号,发送给功率单元,多个功率单元并联后驱动电机。
大功率变频器系统对同步驱动的要求较高。多变频器并联工作时,各功率单元的驱动脉冲信号必须同时触发,否则会造成变频器间形成环流。为避免环流问题,本方案采取两种方法实现脉冲信号的同步:飞速传输和时钟同步。
飞速传输能够最大限度保证信号的同步性。为降低通信延时,本方案光纤通信的数据链路层处理方式如下:
1)主从控制器通信采用如图2所示的帧格式。在1帧内集成“主广播+从依次回复”。
主控制器每次发送1个数据帧,在数据帧中包含多个报文,每个报文针对特定的从控制器实现数据交换。其中,通信只由主控制器发起,以避免控制器之间因通信冲突而造成的信道占用。
图3所示,从控制器采用“时间窗”模式进行通信。通信帧在从控制器中“过站不停留”。从控制器仅在特定的“时间窗”内取数据,同时将回复数据插入到数据帧中。从控制器只需要很短的延时,即可完成数据检查校验,并更新校验值。
光纤通信采用“周期+非周期”的通信方式,非周期通信用于传输实时性要求不高的数据,包括参数配置、状态读取、故障轮询、时钟同步等。在非周期通信阶段,主站发送时钟同步帧,以实现所有控制器的时钟同步。
由于器件偏差、启动时间差异等原因,线路传输不可避免地存在延时[4]。时钟同步用于校正这种主、从控制器之间的时间偏差,从算法上保证功率单元驱动信号的同步性。主、从控制器采用相同周期Tcycle的计数器,并采用累加的方式计数。主控制器的计数值定义为并联系统时钟Tsys;从控制器的计数值定义为本地时钟Tlocal,且每个从控制器的Tlocal各不相同。本方案采用两个通信帧实现时钟同步。定义通信帧FrameT1用于记录时刻,通信帧FrameT2用于传输信息。图4所示为记录时刻的时间点。
具体实现过程如下:
1)主控制器发送时钟同步帧FrameT1。根据Tsys记录主控制器发送FrameT1起始时刻T1,并将T1写入FrameT1内发给从控制器;
2)从控制器接收通信帧。根据Tlocal实时记录接收时刻T2。若判定本帧为FrameT1,则锁定T2;判定本帧非FrameT1,不做处理;
3)从控制器经处理后,发送通信帧。根据Tlocal记录发送时刻T3
4)从控制器传输通信帧,并实时监控返回通路的帧。根据Tlocal实时记录接收时刻T4,若判定返回帧为FrameT1,则锁定T4;否则不做处理;
5)主控制器接收通信帧,实时记录接收时刻。若判定接收帧为FrameT1,则锁定时间为T5;若判定接收帧为FrameT2,不做处理;
6)主控制器发送时钟同步帧FrameT2。将T5写入 FrameT2内发给从控制器;
7)从控制器根据Ti(i=1,2,3,4,5,计算出系统时钟Tsys。要注意的是,由于计数周期为Tcycle,所有公式的加减法必须考虑上下限溢出的情况。
线路传输延时Tdelay
Tdelay=[(T5-T1)-(T4-T2)]/2
考虑从控制器数据处理时间,主从控制器的时钟偏移量近似为T1T3的差值。考虑线路传输延时,主从时钟偏移量Toffset
Toffset=T3-T1-Tdelay
因此,从控制器可得系统时钟为
         Tsys=Tlocal-Toffset=Tlocal-T3+(T1+T2-T4+T5)/2
根据式(3),每个从控制器计算出统一的系统时钟Tsys,再根据Tsys生成后续同步驱动信号。
从控制器的通信包括模式Ⅰ和模式Ⅱ两种路由模式。如图5所示,模式Ⅰ采取两组收发端口的模式,通信由一个端口传递到另一端口;模式Ⅱ仅使用一组收发端口。运行时,从控制器需要判定自己是否为通信尾站,以保证通信回路的正确;否则信息无法回传,将造成系统故障。
主控制器发送包含站点数和工作计数器的信息,模式切换帧格式如图6所示。从控制器接收到信息后,通信处理单元将工作计数器Nlocal存储作为地址号,并将Nlocal值加1后输出给后一台从控制器。
在工业现场,大功率变频器系统有时需要降额运行。降额运行的主要原因包括组件容量超配、功率设定改变、重要元器件温度过高等。当变频器系统降额运行时,通信需要立即响应变化。在系统不断控制电的情况下,主控制器需要减小实际运行的从控制器个数。
从控制器将总站数NtotalNlocal作比较:当NlocalNtotal时,从控制器采用模式Ⅰ;当Nlocal=Ntotal时,从控制器采用模式Ⅱ;当NlocalNtotal时,从控制器采用模式Ⅱ,且通知主控制器数目错误。
主控制器在初始化阶段以及降额运行时,会改变站点数。当控制器发生严重故障时,系统同样会改变站点数。不同的是,此时是由系统内部检测并被动改变。当从控制器出现严重故障时,如停机、光纤通信线路损坏等,其相邻控制器需要做出正确响应。每台控制器的光纤接收端都具备通信判断功能。具体实现过程如下:
1)从控制器监测回传通路的通信帧。当超时没有通信帧回复时,由模式Ⅰ切换到模式Ⅱ;其中,超时时间与地址号Nlocal成反比;
2)主控制器读取从控制器返回的通信帧。当工作计数器异常时,确定正常的从控制器数量以及故障发生点的位置;
3)主控制器根据从控制器数量,重新计算运行给定;同时通知用户进行停机或降额运行。
实验系统由3台1 kW变频器试验样机组成,包括1台主控制器和2台从控制器。
图7为系统实验例图,采用示波器观测系统中功率单元驱动信号的实际波形,其中,图7a所示为主、从控制器同步驱动波形,图7b为放大后的余辉波形。由图7可知,采用本方案主从同步偏差小于100 ns,同步驱动效果较好。
图8为模拟降额运行工况上位机观测图,降额门槛设为2 kW,当系统给定功率大于2 kW时从站1(与主站通过光纤连接)工作在模式Ⅰ,当功率给定变为1.95 kW时,主站向从站2发送停机指令,同时将从站1切换到模式Ⅱ,此时可以将从站2断电进行维护,不影响系统工作。采用本方案的降额方式,系统降额切换运行稳定,无需系统整体停机。本文提出的大功率变频器系统的光纤通信方案,具有较高的准确性,在工业现场应用效果良好。
针对大功率变频器系统,本文提出了一种大功率变频器系统的光纤通信方案,结论如下:
1)大功率变频器系统中,主控制器并联控制多个从控制器,每个从控制器连接对应的驱动单元,驱动单元连接电机。基于这种系统结构,本文提出的通信方案不受硬件限制,布线灵活。
2)采用通信帧结构、从站时间窗模式,能够保证光纤通信传输延时较低;时钟同步算法能够补偿从控制器与主控制器的计数差值,保证系统内所有控制器的时钟同步。本方案可以保证所有控制器的IGBT驱动信号具备很高的同步性,减少系统环流及其危害。
3)当系统需要降额运行或者发生严重故障时,控制器能够及时响应,通过改变通信路由模式、网络控制器数目,为大功率变频器系统提供灵活的通信解决方案,提升系统运行灵活性及可靠性。
4)实验验证了本方案具备良好的应用效果。
