With the rapid development of commercial aerospace, traditional measurement and control resources are unable to meet the demand for high-density and rapid launch of commercial rockets. There is a shortage of measurement and control resources in the aviation area, and space-based measurement and control resources based on Tianlian satellites are not suitable for commercial space launch modes. The performance indicators of civil and commercial communication satellites are investigated, and the Ku frequency band space-based measurement technology based on APSTAR-6D satellite is studied. A space-based measurement and control system implementation scheme has been proposed by combining link calculations with satellite performance. Finally, it provides new measurement and control resources for commercial space rocket launches, and the measurement and control can cover the needs of typical SSO orbit launch vehicles.

如今商业航天快速发展,传统测控资源难以满足商业火箭高密度快速发射的测控需求,尤其是针对航区海基测控资源紧缺,基于天链卫星的天基测控资源不适应未来商业航天发射模式。通过调研中国民商用通信卫星测控资源,研究了基于亚太$6\mathrm{D}$通信卫星的$\mathrm{{Ku}}$频段天基测控技术,结合通信卫星性能指标完成链路计算,提出天基测控系统箭载测控设备与地面测控设备实现方案,完成天基测控系统架构及信息流设计,为商业航天火箭发射提供新的测控实施方案,有效缓解测控资源紧张难题,测控弧段可覆盖运载火箭典型SSO轨道测控需求。

如今商业航天快速发展,传统测控资源难以满足商业火箭高密度快速发射的测控需求,尤其是针对航区海基测控资源紧缺,基于天链卫星的天基测控资源不适应未来商业航天发射模式。通过调研中国民商用通信卫星测控资源,研究了基于亚太$6\mathrm{D}$通信卫星的$\mathrm{{Ku}}$频段天基测控技术,结合通信卫星性能指标完成链路计算,提出天基测控系统箭载测控设备与地面测控设备实现方案,完成天基测控系统架构及信息流设计,为商业航天火箭发射提供新的测控实施方案,有效缓解测控资源紧张难题,测控弧段可覆盖运载火箭典型SSO轨道测控需求。

With the rapid development of commercial aerospace, traditional measurement and control resources are unable to meet the demand for high-density and rapid launch of commercial rockets. There is a shortage of measurement and control resources in the aviation area, and space-based measurement and control resources based on Tianlian satellites are not suitable for commercial space launch modes. The performance indicators of civil and commercial communication satellites are investigated, and the Ku frequency band space-based measurement technology based on APSTAR-6D satellite is studied. A space-based measurement and control system implementation scheme has been proposed by combining link calculations with satellite performance. Finally, it provides new measurement and control resources for commercial space rocket launches, and the measurement and control can cover the needs of typical SSO orbit launch vehicles.

传统运载火箭测控系统主要由地基测控、海基测控和天基测控(天链卫星)组成。近年来, 火箭发射任务密度逐年增大,传统测控资源面临着巨大压力。 随着商业航天的蓬勃发展, 商业火箭发射任务更呈现迅猛增长的趋势。在火箭发射任务量剧增的情况下, 目前传统的测控资源往往会向国家任务倾斜, 因此, 面对未来大量的商业火箭发射任务, 在传统运载火箭测控手段外寻求新的测控途径迫在眉睫[1]。近几年商业民用通信卫星快速发展, 为商业航天火箭发射测控提供新的解决思路, 本文研究基于高轨民商用通信卫星天基测控技术, 对当今商业航天火箭高密度发射测控方案实施具有重要参考价值。
调研中国现有发射场建设情况, 商业航天火箭发射任务未来将集中在海南发射[2],而目前在海南发射场发射任务典型弹道测控链路分为以下三类:
a)南射向任务:火箭从发射到卫星入轨,依次经过海南省、南海等地区,经印度尼西亚,在澳大利亚西部印度洋上空将卫星送入轨道。
b)东射向任务:火箭从发射到卫星入轨,依次经过海南省、南海等地区,经菲律宾,在太平洋上空将卫星送入轨道。
c)东南射向任务:火箭从发射到卫星入轨,依次经过海南省、南海等地区, 经菲律宾、印度尼西亚,在澳大利亚北部上空将卫星送入轨道。
为完成商业火箭发射任务的天基测控任务, 需利用高轨民商用通信卫星针对上述商业航天火箭典型发射任务,提供火箭→天基中继卫星→地面站的天基返向通信通道, 满足火箭在飞行过程中的遥测数据实时传输的需求[3]。此外,针对典型商业火箭发射弹道, 高轨民商用通信卫星需实现火箭发射全过程的通信链路覆盖。
基于通信卫星转发器天线覆盖范围、支持的工作频率、可用带宽以及卫星载荷等其他关键性能, 调研中国目前在轨常用的民商用通信卫星的转发器载荷, 主要包括中星$6\mathrm{\;B}$、中星$6\mathrm{C}$、中星$6\mathrm{D}$、中星10、中星11、中星12、中星13、中星15、中星16、中星19、 中星26、亚太5C、亚太6C、亚太6D、亚太9号等通信卫星[4]
为实现火箭发射全过程遥测传输, 通信卫星转发天线的覆盖范围通常需覆盖火箭弹道轨迹。现有通信卫星基本为高轨卫星, 其轨道高度远高于火箭发射高程, 故在考虑卫星天线波束覆盖范围时, 运载火箭高程因素可以不计[5]。因此,商业航天火箭发射天基测控应用重点在于寻求天线波束覆盖范围可覆盖火箭飞行的地球投影轨迹的通信卫星,即通信卫星转发天线覆盖范围应能覆盖三类典型任务弹道。
调研目前中国民商用通信卫星的波束覆盖范围, 具体情况如表1所示。满足上述覆盖范围的卫星转发天线主要包括中星19卫星$\mathrm{C}$波束全向天线、中星11卫星$\mathrm{{Ku}}$多波束天线、亚太$6\mathrm{D}$卫星$\mathrm{{Ku}}/\mathrm{{Ka}}$多波束天线。
中星19卫星C波束天线为全向设计, 虽然覆盖性比较好,但是天线增益低,导致能够达到前返向码速率设计要求的箭载终端天线体积巨大, 对箭载相控阵天线的应用带来限制; 中星11卫星$\mathrm{{Ku}}$动波束天线为军方管控使用, 不适于商业航天火箭发射灵活测控需求。
亚太$6\mathrm{D}$卫星是中国目前通信容量最大、波束最多、输出功率最大的民商用通信卫星[6-9],其$\mathrm{{Ku}}/\mathrm{{Ka}}$频段多波束天线可为亚太地区用户提供全天候卫星通信服务。其中火箭与卫星之间的链路为用户链路,工作频段为$\mathrm{{Ku}}$频段;卫星与信关站之间的链路为馈电链路,工作频段为$\mathrm{{Ka}}$频段。综合分析比较,亚太$6\mathrm{D}$卫星$\mathrm{{Ku}}/\mathrm{{Ka}}$频段多波束天线范围覆盖商业航天火箭典型弹道轨迹, 通过多波束切换可实现基于民商用通信卫星的天基测控技术[10]
鉴于亚太$6\mathrm{D}$卫星多波束特性,不同波束区域内频点、带宽等特性有所不同, 波束切换会对信号产生中断,故$\mathrm{{Ku}}$频段天基测控设备需依据飞行位置自动加载亚太$6\mathrm{D}$卫星波束地图,通过卫星轨道位置与自身位置信息自动完成波束特性切换, 而地面测控设备同样根据火箭位置信息提前判断波束切换时刻并做好准备,尽可能缩小切换时隙。
根据亚太$6\mathrm{D}$通信卫星接口指标,天基测控链路设计具体指标见表2, 火箭用户端至通信卫星工作频率为$\mathrm{{Ku}}$频段,通信距离约${40000}\mathrm{\;{km}}$情况下,可满足商业航天火箭发射基本需求。由链路设计结果可知, 在天基测控系统链路余量为${2.59}\mathrm{\;{dB}}$情况下,基于亚太$6\mathrm{D}$通信卫星的$\mathrm{{Ku}}$频段天基测控技术可实现不低于1Mbit/s码速率数据传输。
天基测控系统主要由箭载测控设备、天基通信卫星测控设备、地面测控设备等组成, 主要功能是利用亚太$6\mathrm{D}$通信卫星完成运载火箭发射全过程的关键遥测数据传输。系统组成如图1所示。
图1中, 箭载测控设备主要包括天基测控终端与相控阵天线, 用于完成火箭经过卫星覆盖波束时遥测数据的编码、调制、发射等工作; 天基通信卫星测控设备, 包括与业务相关的转发载荷与天线, 实现遥测数据的透明转发; 地面测控设备包括通信卫星信关站与网管中心、控管中心两部分, 完成遥测数据的接收解调译码、传输与数据解析、显示等功能。
基于系统组成架构, 天基测控系统的信息流向设计如下:
a)箭载测控设备将火箭遥测数据调制编码后发送至通信卫星;
b)通信卫星收到火箭遥测信息后, 透明转发该数据至信关站与网管中心;
c)信关站与网管中心接收通信卫星转发的火箭遥测数据, 完成解调译码后通过网络发往控管中心, 控管中心完成数据解析后进行数据显示与判读。
天基测控终端首先接收来自火箭平台的遥测数据, 同时依据不同飞行时刻下通信卫星轨道位置与火箭自身位置、姿态等信息选择锁星参数(如频率、极化方式等),将组帧后的遥测数据编码调制输出至$\mathrm{{Ku}}$频段相控阵天线, 并将基于火箭姿态位置信息的波束指向算法计算结果输出至相控阵天线。相控阵天线对射频信号进行放大、滤波, 通过天基返向链路传输至通信卫星。此外,天基测控终端与$\mathrm{{Ku}}$频段相控阵天线将自身设备状态信息反馈至火箭平台,实现设备自身健康状态监测。
箭载测控设备主要包括天基测控终端和相控阵天线两部分, 如图2所示。其中, 天基测控终端主要完成信号变频和基带信号处理, 包括接收、处理遥测数据、完成编码调制、天线指向角度计算等; 相控阵天线根据指向角度信息, 控制波束指向, 完成对通信卫星的跟踪。天基测控终端与火箭平台的接口主要有供电接口、遥测接口、指令控制接口和状态参数上报接口等。天基测控终端与相控阵天线主要性能指标设计具体见表3
天基测控系统的地面测控设备由通信卫星信关站与网管中心和控管中心两部分组成, 见图3。其中, 信关站完成天基返向数据的射频信号接收与译码解调, 主要包括射频部分(包含天线与射频通道、变频等)与解调译码设备。对于火箭测控而言, 射频部分可以直接使用既有信关站相关设备, 但解调及译码设备需要在不同的信关站内完成布局, 使得系统在使用不同信关站的不同波束时, 能正常与站内射频设备匹配, 接收来自站内射频设备的下变频信号后, 完成解调译码, 并将信息传输给控管中心。
控管中心通过互联网或专用网与卫星网管中心连接, 实现数据的交互, 控管中心可按商业航天火箭发射任务需求灵活布局。控管中心通过遥测终端信息处理子系统与数据展示子系统, 最终完成遥测信息流的解析、遥测数据存储、火箭数据与图像画面的显示等。
亚太$6\mathrm{D}$通信卫星系统现有8个地面信关站可覆盖90个波束区域, 信关站支持用户以解调译码基带板卡形式接入信关站共用射频前端信道, 故地面解调译码板卡仅需处理$\mathrm{{Ku}}$频段下变频后的信号即可,具体如表4所示。
本文调研了中国现有民商用通信卫星性能指标、 波束覆盖范围及接口要求, 研究了商业航天火箭发射任务测控实施方案,提出了基于亚太$6\mathrm{D}$通信卫星天基测控技术的应用思路, 完成系统架构与测控链路的设计, 为民商用通信卫星在商业航天火箭发射天基测控领域做出了贡献, 对提高商业航天火箭发射测控灵活性具有重要参考价值。
