Focusing on the development of missile intelligent cooperation, the application of missiles in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) swarms is focused on. The respective application characteristics of UAV swarm and missile systems are introduced, the application modes of missiles in UAV swarm are explored, the requirement on developing intelligent missile swam is analyzed. Based on the issues of observation, interaction, and collaboration in swarm intelligence, current challenges and key support technologies for missiles application in UAV swarm are analyzed. With the analysis on "MSET" and "Golden Horde" projects, the current situation and development of missiles in swam are analyzed, and the ability doubling points for the actualization of missile-UAV application are pointed out, which provides exploration for future research on intelligent missile system.

Focusing on the development of missile intelligent cooperation, the application of missiles in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) swarms is focused on. The respective application characteristics of UAV swarm and missile systems are introduced, the application modes of missiles in UAV swarm are explored, the requirement on developing intelligent missile swam is analyzed. Based on the issues of observation, interaction, and collaboration in swarm intelligence, current challenges and key support technologies for missiles application in UAV swarm are analyzed. With the analysis on "MSET" and "Golden Horde" projects, the current situation and development of missiles in swam are analyzed, and the ability doubling points for the actualization of missile-UAV application are pointed out, which provides exploration for future research on intelligent missile system.

近年来, 无人机系统在军事领域的灵活运用受到了广泛关注。日益复杂的战场环境对无人机在侦察、 通信、决策与控制等方面的智能水平提出新要求, 但是单机系统的能力提升越来越困难, 而综合性的高性能无人机造价昂贵, 应用和维护都相对繁杂, 难以适应需求。因此, 无人机集群/蜂群研究应运而生, 它是以大量较低成本的无人机平台为主要力量, 通过智能技术整合形成的功能分布协调、行动自主协同、能力弹性组合的新型系统。无人机蜂群的群体智能机理与蚁群或鸟群等生物集群类似, 通过对环境进行观察、对信息进行交互、对行动进行协同,提升集群整体能力,以解决个体无法解决的问题[1]。因此,本文以观察、交互与协同等能力为重点, 分析集群运用问题。
无人机蜂群通过集群协作, 在任务多样性与环境复杂性方面的适应能力更强, 具有侦察探测、通信组网、精确打击等能力。其中, 精确打击是达成目标毁伤的关键环节, 无人机可以通过自身战斗部实施攻击, 但是利用导弹实施精确打击, 响应速度更快, 作用距离更远。由此可见, 作为能够加速观察-判断-决策-行动(Observe-Orient-Decide-Act, OODA)闭环的重要毁伤手段, 导弹在蜂群精确打击任务中发挥着重要作用。导弹与无人机蜂群形成了新的异构集群, 导弹的功能定位与作战运用将呈现新的特点。本文聚焦导弹在无人机蜂群中的运用, 探讨其观察、交互与协同等问题, 以期为导弹系统发展提供探索思路。
无人机蜂群一般由成本较低的中小型无人机系统组成, 空间作用范围广、态势感知能力强、系统弹性大,具有更丰富的手段和更灵活的模式[2-4]。尤其是无人机技术成熟度较高, 应用潜力大, 是探索理论、 创新技术的重要研究对象。美军在军事需求驱动和经济与科技优势支撑下,较早地推动了无人系统蜂群研究。目前美多军种、多部门都开展了无人蜂群项目, 包括小精灵(Gremlins)项目、进攻性蜂群使能战术(OFFSET)项目、灰山鹑(Perdix)项目、拒止环境中协同作战(CODE)项目、低成本无人机蜂群技术(LUCUST)项目以及近战隐蔽自主无人一次性飞机(CICADA)项目等[5-8]。除上述武器研制项目相关的研究以外, 美国还大力开展面向无人集群的作战概念研究,例如2017年DARPA提出 “马赛克战” 概念(见图1),它将传统多任务平台分解成数量更多、功能更少、成本更低的系统,形成更分散的编队,旨在快速、灵活、自主地组合各战斗要素, 成为一种全新的作战能力生成范式[9-11]
导弹是依靠自身动力装置推进、载有战斗部的无人驾驶可控飞行器, 具有射程远、精度高、威力大、 突防能力强等优势。导弹作为精确打击武器的代表, 是体系对抗和体系破击的主要手段, 在OODA循环中能够执行信息获取、信息处理、火力投送等任务。信息获取包括对敌方目标的搜索、侦察、跟踪与识别, 随着智能感知技术的发展, 导弹作为信息获取平台的作用将会越来越突出。信息处理包括对战场态势的理解、对任务手段的决策、对任务执行过程的规划以及多弹之间信息互联, 信息处理能力是导弹向智能化发展的重要标志。火力投送包括导弹射程、载荷能力、 机动能力、精确制导能力等,是其精确打击能力的最终体现, 也是其区别于其他无人系统的优势。导弹的主要作战功能见图2
就作用区域而言, 导弹的覆盖区域更广, 无人机蜂群具有相对较小的局部运用范围。若将导弹与无人机相结合, 用空射导弹配属无人机集群, 可以显著增大无人机集群的作用范围。在蜂群运用中, 导弹既可以独立行动, 也可以与其他无人系统组合行动。导弹独立实施行动, 是指导弹独立以单弹或弹群形式实施侦察、打击、评估等任务,其特点是导弹应同时具备信息获取、信息处理、火力投送等能力,系统较复杂, 成本较高。导弹与其他无人系统组合行动, 是指导弹作为无人集群行动的一个环节, 与无人机、无人车组合使用, 其特点是导弹功能较为单一, 系统较为简单, 成本较低, 通过协同扩展任务能力。打击任务可由导弹集群单独完成, 也可与无人集群组合完成, 扩大了行动范围, 增强了快速性。
上述对无人机蜂群与导弹运用的分析表明, 蜂群系统具有单体相对简单、集群表现出智能性的特点。 导弹在蜂群中遂行多种任务, 相应地需要具备智能化与集群化特征, 以兼容集群智能架构、适应集群对抗场景。
a)导弹智能化发展需求。
导弹系统经过数十年发展逐步突破了射程、精度、威力等能力限制,智能科技为导弹发展注入了新动力。智能化导弹提高了传统导弹的智能化水平, 是具备较高 “思考” 能力的杀伤武器, 它将人工智能技术应用于指挥控制、导航制导控制以及导引头等多个分系统, 使导弹从探测、跟踪、寻的、突防到最后杀伤的整个作战过程实现局部自主性或完全自主性[12-13]
本节具体从观察、交互与协同角度分析导弹智能性。第一,导弹系统的观察能力主要由弹载探测传感器支撑, 智能化导弹的探测应该对不确定、恶劣的环境适应能力更强, 能够在电磁干扰、遮挡欺骗、云雨烟尘等不利观察条件下对高机动、特性各异的多目标进行智能识别[14]; 第二,导弹系统的交互能力主要依靠弹载数据链通信系统, 智能化导弹应能够适应有源电磁干扰、无源干扰和强杂波干扰等复杂环境, 需要具有智能传输与调节的能力, 以提升通信的可靠性; 第三, 导弹系统的协同主要依靠控制系统, 主要解决导弹稳定飞行、精确制导等核心问题,智能化导弹的控制系统要适应高动态复杂环境、导弹本体异常故障、多样化任务等,具备较高的灵活性与高效性。
b)导弹集群化发展需求。
在蜂群运用的任务场景中, 打击目标繁杂, 作战环境多变, 攻防博弈对抗激烈, 防空能力越来越强, 导致单弹效能有限, 往往不能满足任务需求。因此, 为实施有效打击, 导弹需要集群化发展, 弹群通过信息共享、功能互补以及战术协同,使导弹运用从 “单兵进攻”向 “班进攻” 发展[15]。技术发展的难点在于如何融聚多个单体智能形成群体智能, 使其满足群体自主协同执行复合多样任务的需求, 实现一对多、 多对多的弹-弹协同与弹-机协同。
本节同样从观察、交互与协同的角度分析导弹集群化特点。第一, 导弹集群的观察能力优势在于协同探测, 以弥补单一探测体制的不足, 目标与环境特性的多样化导致不同类型导引头的探测效能差异明显, 然而若将多种模式传感器集成于单弹系统, 多模导引头的复杂结构与高成本不适用于集群运用[16],因此功能分布式的协同探测适用性更强, 基于多尺度、多维度信息的融合识别能够获得更全面的目标信息[17-18];第二,导弹集群的交互能力依靠弹间数据链, 为完成协同探测、突防和攻击等任务, 弹群间、 弹机间或者弹地之间需要高频的信息传输和交互, 弹载数据链是关键支撑装备, 普遍存在的环境噪声和干扰压制等不利条件导致有效交互周期短、网络结构变化快, 弹群数据链需要解决约束框架下的安全可信信息传输交换技术;第三,弹群协同主要依赖协同制导控制, 使多个同构/异构平台在一定分布式的协同策略基础上, 实现制导系统状态变量的协调一致。弹群制导控制需要适应单体自身状态变化、集群飞行环境变化以及任务局部场景的临机变化等。
通过智能赋能, 导弹应具备适应性更强的感知能力, 以实现 “观察” 战场; 具备更广泛的联通能力, 以实现 “交互” 信息;具备更灵活的集群控制能力, 以实现 “协同” 行动。本节聚焦观察、交互与协同, 分析导弹应用于蜂群的能力挑战与关键支撑技术。
导弹的观察依赖导引头系统, 若根据传感器物理特性分类, 导引头的探测体制包含光电探测、雷达探测、激光探测和多模复合探测等[19]。在复杂战场环境中, 探测区域和目标特性的多样化特征明显, 存在较高不确定性。为提高目标识别水平, 成像制导方式十分重要, 因此, 分析导弹的观察探测能力主要聚焦基于图像的目标检测与识别。
导弹探测分为两个阶段, 一是获取高精度、高质量的目标图像;二是基于图像进行检测识别, 获取目标信息。在目标图像获取阶段, 导弹高马赫数飞行的高速、高温、强振等特性对光学成像性能产生严重影响,极大限制了感知观察能力[20]。雷达导引头能够全天候、全天时探测目标,作用范围大,穿透能力强, 并且能够获取距离信息, 但是雷达导引头分辨率受天线孔径限制, 相控阵雷达导引头能够获得高分辨率, 但是结构复杂、空间大、能耗高, 合成孔径雷达导引头成像存在视线角度约束, 并且对非合作运动目标的成像质量不理想[21]。综合来说,为了提升弹载平台的探测能力, 高性能的光电探测和雷达探测导引头系统都存在多方面应用限制, 例如成本提高、功耗上升、空间需求增大等, 难以适应导弹在无人机蜂群中的运用。
低成本蜂群普遍采用的探测载荷性能有限, 获取的目标图像质量不高, 因此需要增强下一阶段的检测识别能力, 以平衡系统综合探测效能。使用传统的图像处理算法对匹配程度进行阈值判断, 计算速度快, 但灵活性和适应性不强[22]。基于人工智能技术的图像识别方法通过学习推理获得不确定环境的、干扰条件下的特征提取和分类识别等能力[23]。基于深度学习的图像识别方法的关键在于样本数据, 即大数据驱动检测识别能力提升,因此,该方法依赖数据生成, 并且需要适用于弹载平台的高效计算模块。民用图像识别技术的快速发展有赖于大数据支撑, 相比之下, 蜂群运用中的图像识别缺少关键数据, 实测数据的覆盖性和真实性较差, 对于某些目标甚至缺少可用的、 有效的图像数据, 不能支持实际场景的感知需求。因此需要针对小样本难题研究高保真场景仿真与生成技术, 基于对数据真实性和覆盖性的需求, 通过数字仿真和半实物仿真尽可能地模拟探测场景, 获取更多的特征细节信息, 从而提升智能感知能力。智能识别方法所需算力对弹载计算平台提出了更高要求, 为实现对战场环境的快速响应, 计算速度是关键, 例如计算平台并行加速技术, 它通过规划统筹计算分系统/模块, 减少资源冗余和进程冲突, 提升计算的并行度。 硬件实现方面需要进行专用芯片的设计与研制, 降低计算功耗, 提高计算效率。
导弹在蜂群中的交互主要依赖弹载数据链系统, 从而实现导弹与控制中心/节点、弹与弹、弹与机之间的建链通网, 使目标信息、环境信息和协同指令等能够传输、交换和处理。理想条件下,数据链系统能够使导弹 “飞多远、控多远”,“控” 可以是战术后端的指挥中心,也可以是蜂群中的指控节点[24]。在通信能力支撑下,导弹在蜂群的运用可以创新模式,提高整体稳定性与适应性, 增强体系效能。弹载数据链与无人机通信载荷相比具有不同特点, 一是导弹射程远, 通信信号衰减大, 远距离通信需要中继平台; 二是导弹飞行速度快, 信号的多普勒效应明显, 信号处理较复杂, 通信建链难度大; 三是导弹状态变化快, 蜂群拓扑结构变化大, 天线对准难(数据链为获取定向高功率, 一般较少采用全向模式), 进一步增大建链难度[25]; 四是导弹空间资源和计算资源有限,体积、质量、功耗和结构等都对数据链系统约束较大[26]; 五是带宽受限,这将导致高质量、高分辨率图像传输困难, 对蜂群间基于图像的信息融合影响较大。
为解决上述交互问题,可以采用增强软件算法+ 优化硬件架构的一体化设计方法, 提升弹载数据链系统对蜂群的适用性。软件算法方面需要研究高动态条件下的多普勒频移矫正、时空配准和传输波形设计等技术, 从算法角度增强交互的可靠性和可信性, 以支撑远距离、大范围的建链组网[26]。硬件架构方面, 需要研究各功能子系统的小型化技术、模块化技术、 天线共用技术等, 以形成紧凑集成的空间结构, 并通过算力一体化技术使软件计算流程与硬件计算部署相适应, 形成高效兼容的低能耗架构。除此以外, 弹载数据链需要考虑蜂群运用的对抗背景, 群间通信往往存在干扰和压制。因此, 为解决不确定的、对抗条件下的稳定传输, 需要研究智能调频、时空自适应抗干扰和保密传输等技术, 以实现复杂电磁环境下的可信通信, 从而能够支撑集群系统在对抗条件下的能力保持。
导弹在蜂群中实现协同需要制导控制和载荷控制的支撑, 其中制导控制系统是产生指令的核心, 一方面接收基于外部环境生成的决策信息, 一方面接收基于内部自身的状态信息, 综合内外信息后, 以一定制导律控制导弹采取行动。
导弹制导控制系统是包含多维变量的、非线性的时变系统, 其数学模型的不确定性高, 系统设计难度大[27]。传统制导控制系统具有自主制导、自动寻的制导和遥控制导等多种类型。现代控制系统普遍采用3种导引律: 追踪法、平行接近法和比例导引法。除此以外, 大量研究基于经典导引律引申发展形成了系列新型制导方法。现代制导控制技术发展成熟, 日臻完善, 虽然可以达到控制要求, 但在未来复杂度加剧的应用背景下,仍然存在局限性,研究设计受到了一定限制, 尤其是导弹制导控制能力关系到系统综合能力的提升,一方面,复杂的、不确定的战场环境对制导控制提出新的需求, 另一方面, 日益发展的人工智能、大数据和超算等技术为制导控制提供了新的研究路径。
新需求和新技术使智能制导控制技术逐渐成为研究热点, 蜂群智能制导控制以经典控制理论为基础, 融合了人工智能理论发展集群协同的自适应控制、自组织控制和自学习控制等。基于人工智能算法的局部智能制导律研究, 将神经网络应用到参数估计和制导律设计; 全局强化学习智能制导律研究, 将制导过程转化为强化学习的闭环模型, 以智能体与环境交互反馈式的学习进化模式, 使系统获取多约束、多扰动、 多异常条件下的制导方法[28]; 多智能体协同智能制导律研究, 包含以时间一致或角度一致为目标的协同制导律设计, 或是以零和博弈获胜为目标的博弈对抗协同制导, 或是以具体任务实施为目标的任务约束协同制导等[29]。上述方法的研究目的在于发展智能控制技术使导弹系统具备更强的战场适应性和稳定性, 具有不确定环境的临机处理能力。
根据对大量公开资料的分析, 目前缺少导弹-无人机蜂群的具体应用案例, 本节仅通过对 “多导弹同步交战技术”(Missile Multiple Simultaneous Engagement Technologies, MSET)项目与 “金帐汗国” 改造弹药蜂群项目的分析, 通过导弹集群与地面车辆和有人机的协同, 类比分析导弹集群与无人机蜂群的协同运用。
“多导弹同步交战技术”是2017年美国陆军发布的未来30年导弹科技战略的项目之一(见图3),该系统适配于美国陆军多种有人/无人车辆, 并且具有应用于未来无人航空平台的潜力。多导弹同步交战系统以智能巡飞弹为主要作战力量,是人在回路的武器系统。其中, 巡飞弹具有数据链系统, 可接收集群内其他平台的感知信息, 并可据此对多个固定/移动目标进行精确打击。美国陆军航空与导弹研发工程中心早在2016年就已经启动了MSET研发任务, 2017年又正式发布了项目方案征询书, 并计划在2024年完成研发工作[30]
该项目研究目标是单个操作员能够快捷操控6枚巡飞弹对6个目标实施精确打击( 4个静止目标和2个移动目标), 最终扩展达到20枚以上巡飞弹规模。根据方案征询书, MSET需要攻克6项关键技术, 包括系统架构生成、指挥与火力控制技术、自主协同与末端交战技术、数据链及支持组件技术、不依赖GPS导航技术和仿真技术。
“金帐汗国” 改造弹药蜂群项目是2019年3月由美国空军启动的研究项目,承包商为科学应用与研究协会联合公司。“金帐汗国”项目是为发展联网、协同、自主与协同技术的演示验证项目,弹药蜂群中包含多种已有的型号弹药, SDB 1/2型小直径炸弹、 AGM-158型联合空地防区外导弹、AGM-160微型空射诱饵弹等[31]。该项目利用空基平台自主发射上述异构弹药, 并对弹群进行协同规划, 根据目指信息进行航迹自主规划和自主协同打击, 并且具备通信交互能力, 对集群中其他平台、节点发送的实时信息进行情报共享,从而提升 “一体化防空系统” 对抗能力(见图4)。
“金帐汗国”项目于2020年进行了2次试验,在2021年5月完成了第3次试验, 实现了6弹飞行演示验证。试验中2架$\mathrm{F}- {16}$战斗机携带6枚协同式小直径制导炸弹(一架携带4枚, 另一架携带2枚), 6枚弹药同时发射, 并在空中形成能够通信组网的弹药集群, 集群通过规划实现了在线目标更改和时间同步协同打击,有效验证项目目标。同年,美国空军研究实验室宣布 “金帐汗国” 项目转入 “原型愿景行动” 的后续研发工作, 即利用 “罗马竞技场” 数字孪生武器生态环境开展数字仿真与半实物仿真试验, 以加速研发、测试和集成进程, 更快更好地支撑美国空军多种作战概念运用与战法验证。
通过上述对MSET和 “金帐汗国” 项目的分析可知, 美军注重 “分布式作战” 等概念的整体运用, 已从指导装备技术的概念思想逐步发展为技术集成和演示验证。MSET和 “金帐汗国” 主要为技术演示验证项目,因此涉及的武器装备类型较少、规模较小。 MSET主要是地面车辆与巡飞弹的协同运用, 弹群规模为6枚弹药;“金帐汗国”项目主要是飞机与小型制导弹药的协同运用, 飞机2架, 弹群规模同样为6枚弹药。这两项演示类项目完成了原理验证与技术积累,后续还需要实现集群类型与规模的扩展,例如从少类型平台扩展到包含有人/无人车辆、有人/无人飞行器、有人/无人舰艇和多类型制导弹药的集群系统, 从几个、十几个小规模集群扩展到几十、几百甚至数以千计的大规模蜂群。类型和规模的量变将有可能导致应用复杂度的质变, 从而产生新的技术瓶颈, 需要进一步深入研究验证。
伴随着无人机和导弹集群化与智能化相关技术的不断发展, 导弹-无人机异构蜂群的协同运用获得了有力的技术支撑和大量的经验积累。通过上述研判分析可知, 导弹-无人机异构蜂群能够运用实现的能力倍增点至少包括关键概念研究、智能技术赋能和信息网络体系支撑。
a)概念与技术的综合运用。
军事领域的突破一般由概念与技术共同驱动, 例如, 坦克装备与闪击战法实现了战场的范式转移。美军“马赛克战”和“决策中心战”等分布式作战概念强调利用小、散平台给对手施加多重困境, 增加复杂性和不确定性, 降低对手决策的质量和速度, 同时提升己方决策能力,更快、更有效地进行规划。这种理念与小型化集群平台/载荷等技术联合发展, 共同推进分布式作战的概念、模式、技术与装备的整体升级。因此, 智能化导弹在蜂群运用的发展应该同时关注理论概念与装备技术的综合创新与运用。
b)人工智能技术赋能。
人工智能技术为观察、交互与协同技术的发展提供了创新动力, 例如强化学习理论与导弹制导控制技术有机结合, 可有效提升导弹对复杂战场环境的适应性, 使其在环境、本体、任务等各方面均有稳健高效的适应能力, 从而催生新型导弹控制系统架构, 如图5所示。
集群规模的扩展对指挥控制提出了更高要求, 不仅仅是导弹系统自身的内环制导控制, 而且包括集群整体的外环智能决策。对于集群控制来说, 装备多, 关系杂, 演化快, 是从量的积累到质的变迁, 这高度依赖智能决策。AlphaGo和AlphaStar等人工智能已经在游戏博弈决策中获得成功, 但是作战辅助决策的复杂度更高,实时决策难度更大[32]。美军于2015年开始研制的智能化作战任务规划系统ALPHA, 已在飞行模拟测试中击败了美国前空军上校。然而,该系统主要面向单个无人机系统近战格斗, 而不是集群智能决策控制。因此, 大规模异构集群需要重点突破智能决策技术,以提升集群智能控制系统对高动态复杂环境的适应性。
c)信息网络体系支撑。
集群信息网络体系构建是实现集群协同的关键支撑。一是在全局层面, 需要构建集群规模的高动态、 大范围、多层次、纵横交错的信息交互通信体系;二是在局部层面,需要通过 “区域观测$\rightarrow$局部低通量传输→融合互补”来完善态势认知。信息网络体系是数据链的发展方向, 各种类型的系统通过它融入集群, 不同层级、类型的数据链系统构成信息体系核心部分, 是指挥节点、探测节点以及其他武器平台联合的核心。在信息网络体系的支撑下, OODA闭环才能够高效循环运转, 驱动战场态势优势演化, 从而实现集群协同的效能发挥。
未来随着概念战法创新、人工智能与无人系统技术发展以及平台/载荷成本控制能力的提升,导弹在无人机蜂群中的运用将不断成熟, 驱动应用与技术迭代更新, 从而使系统的自主性、智能性进一步增强, 为作战模式和装备发展提供新的探索思路。
