A primitive time synchronization method is proposed based on the FC-AE-1553 bus technology, aiming at the comprehensive development of onboard measurement systems and the background demand for real-time data sensitivity. This method enables each node in the FC-AE-1553 bus to have the same-time reference. On the basis of time synchronization, a scheduling timing based on time synchronization wasdesigned to collect real-time data from various NT nodes, meeting the requirements of real-time data for onboard measurement systems. The experimental results show that the FC-AE-1553 bus designed has nanosecond time synchronization, dual redundancy, and other functions, which meet the application requirements-of onboard measurement systems and improve the comprehensive level of onboard measurement systems.

针对运载火箭电气系统综合化发展和对实时数据敏感的背景需求,在FC-AE-1553总线技术的基础上,提出一种原语时间同步算法,使得FC-AE-1553总线中各个节点具有相同的时间基准。在时间同步基础上设计了一种基于时间同步的调度时序,以采集各个NT节点实时数据,满足运载火箭电气系统对实时数据的要求。试验结果表明设计的FC-AE-1553总线具有纳秒级时间同步、双冗余等功能,满足运载火箭电气系统上的应用,提高了运载火箭电气系统的综合化水平。

针对运载火箭电气系统综合化发展和对实时数据敏感的背景需求,在FC-AE-1553总线技术的基础上,提出一种原语时间同步算法,使得FC-AE-1553总线中各个节点具有相同的时间基准。在时间同步基础上设计了一种基于时间同步的调度时序,以采集各个NT节点实时数据,满足运载火箭电气系统对实时数据的要求。试验结果表明设计的FC-AE-1553总线具有纳秒级时间同步、双冗余等功能,满足运载火箭电气系统上的应用,提高了运载火箭电气系统的综合化水平。

A primitive time synchronization method is proposed based on the FC-AE-1553 bus technology, aiming at the comprehensive development of onboard measurement systems and the background demand for real-time data sensitivity. This method enables each node in the FC-AE-1553 bus to have the same-time reference. On the basis of time synchronization, a scheduling timing based on time synchronization wasdesigned to collect real-time data from various NT nodes, meeting the requirements of real-time data for onboard measurement systems. The experimental results show that the FC-AE-1553 bus designed has nanosecond time synchronization, dual redundancy, and other functions, which meet the application requirements-of onboard measurement systems and improve the comprehensive level of onboard measurement systems.

随着航天技术的发展,运载火箭系统的复杂程度和综合化程度越来越高,而这一趋势在运载火箭电气系统上尤为显著。运载火箭电气系统的特点在于数据产生量大、数据传输可靠性和稳定性高、控制类数据实时性要求高等1-2。除此之外,为了实时监控运载火箭飞行过程中的工作状态,箭上电气系统的数据敏感子系统采集到的测量数据要求具有很高的实时性。
鉴于新一代运载火箭电气设备、发动机、伺服机构等产品在飞行过程中的运行状态和箭体自身环境均需实时监测,产生的飞行试验数据越来越多,目前在中国航空航天领域被广泛采用的MIL-STD-1553B总线3以及在汽车工业领域运用的CAN总线皆不能满足这一需求。FC-AE光纤总线技术的底层协议为FC-AE,在此基础上为了兼顾上层应用与MIL-STD-1553B总线上层应用的一致性,航空航天领域提出了FC-AE-1553协议4。基于FC-AE-1553协议的FC-AE-1553总线采用的光纤协议不仅具有高数据传输速率,还支持更多的终端节点,除此之外,相较于CAN总线、MIL-STD-1553B总线采用双绞线作为信息的传输介质,FC-AE-1553总线采用光纤介质,大大提高了抗电磁干扰的能力。FC-AE光纤总线的低延迟特性亦符合运载火箭电气系统对数据实时性的需求。
本文针对FC-AE光纤总线的低延迟特性5,设计了一种基于高精度时间同步的FC-AE-1553总线数据调度算法,使FC-AE光纤总线上的各个节点处于同一时间域之下,使得运载火箭电气系统精确获取各个节点某一时刻的数据成为可能。在此基础上设计的具有时间同步的FC-AE-1553总线具有高数据传输速率、低延迟、多节点、高可靠性、高抗电磁干扰等特性,不仅满足了新一代运载火箭电气系统的需求,还具有推广到汽车工业、航空、船舶、箭载控制等领域的可能性,对中国的国防建设及工业升级具有一定的意义。
时间同步技术是指数据总线中的所有节点都处在同一时间域之下,即各个节点具有相同时间基准。时间同步技术的主要目的在于当前工作节点能够感知到总线中其他节点的工作节奏,使得数据总线内的数据传输具有可预见性,有效避免了多个节点同时发起数据传输引起传输线路冲突而导致总线堵塞,造成数据的丢失。因此具有时间同步的数据总线能大大提高数据传输的可靠性。
时钟同步机制的实现可由外部提供一个参考时钟源,各个节点接收该参考时钟源来维护本节点的本地时间字,从而使得各个节点具有相同的时间基准6,该方法一般被称为时间同步的硬件实现方式,而与之相反的便是时间同步的软件实现方法,其特点在于不采用外部参考时钟源。
硬件同步方法使用的标准参考时钟源一般采用世界协调时(Coordinated Universal Time,UTC))7,得益于卫星导航定位系统的迅猛发展,现在主流的导航定位系统都会全天候、实时地广播UTC,且精度高达20 ns。
通过接收卫星导航定位系统广播的UTC,并利用其维护各个节点的本地时间,可使得总线中的各个节点具有相同的时间基准。但为了接收信号,各个节点不得不增加GPS接收机,这不但增加了硬件成本,而且不符合运载火箭箭载测量系统设备小型化的趋势。除此之外,GPS授时信号抗干扰能力差,极易受恶劣的大气环境的影响,从而造成信号丢失。
软件同步方法相较于硬件同步方法,不需要增加额外的硬件成本,而是在已有的数据总线通信网络的基础上,通过主节点周期性发送带有时间信息的同步数据帧,各个节点计算接收到时间同步数据帧的时延,再通过软件同步算法实现数据总线各个节点的全局时钟同步8。软件同步方法相较于硬件同步方法没有稳定的外部参考时钟源,一旦主节点故障下线,会造成时间同步失败。除此之外,在需要发送同步数据帧时,如果总线正在调度业务数据,这将引入不确定的时延,导致同步精度的下降。
虽然软件同步方法的同步精度低于硬件同步方法,但是其具有成本低、实现方式简单的优点。除此之外,由于光纤总线技术的迅猛发展,目前的光纤总线具有低延迟、高带宽的特点,能有效抵消软件同步方法的缺点。
基于MIL-STD-1553B的时间同步实现算法往往采用消息查询方式,虽然诸多研究人员对同步算法进行了优化,但时间同步的精度依然只能达到微秒级9。本文提出的时间同步算法借鉴了消息查询方式,但不同之处在于本算法自动完成时间同步,不需要应用层参与。
FC-AE-1553是一种命令响应式的数据总线,其中包括3种节点:网络控制器(Net Controller,NC)、网络终端(Net Terminal,NT)、网络监视器(Net Monitor,NM)。其中NC是FC-AE-1553网络数据的发起者,当采用软件同步实现时间同步时,自然而然地将NC作为时间同步法的主节点,将自身的时间作为各个NT工作的时间基准。在FC-AE-1553总线中,主要传播的是NC发送的命令帧、数据帧,NT发送的数据帧、状态帧,在链路未建立时用于建立两个节点通信链路的原语帧,以及在总线空闲时大量发送的“空闲原语”。通过分析在不同数据传输速率下,各种数据在总线上所占用的带宽,发现“空闲原语”不可避免地会占用一部分传输带宽,这为在不占用业务数据的前提下,使用部分“空闲原语”的带宽发送带有时间信息的帧提供了可能。本文在FC-AE-1553总线现有帧的基础上,参照消息查询方式设计了一种带有时间信息的原语时间帧,时间原语在总线上的发送优先级低于链路建立原语,高于普通业务数据帧。当链路建立后,周期性发送原语时间帧,具体的发送时序如图1所示。
时间原语同步的实现主要在于将主节点的本地时间发送到从端节点,从端节点接受该时间并用以更新维护其本地时间,同时从端节点将本地时间发送到主节点,主节点接收时间字,用以维护主节点时间字,在这一动态调整主从时间的过程中,主从时间字趋于相等,从而实现主从节点的时间同步,时间同步流程如图2所示。主节点以本地晶振时钟维护一个48 bit的时间字Master Time(主时间字),通过计算发送0xBCAA0000的MT0时刻到接收0xBCBB0000的MT1时刻,得出节点主从之间的延迟时间DELAY,将实时的Master Time加上DELAY在MT0时刻生成48 bit的时间信息TimeInfo。最终的时间同步原语由SNYX{BCBF,TimeInfo[15∶0]},SNYY{BCDF,TimeInfo[31∶16]},SNYZ{BC7F,TimeInfo[47∶17]}构成,并发送到从端节点。当从端节点接收到时间同步原语中包含的信息字时,更新维护从端节点的时间字,从端发送时间同步原语过程与主节点发送过程一致,在周期动态过程中主从节点自动调整本地时间字,实现主从节点端到端的时间同步。
Fiber Channel协议(下文简称FC协议)是一种高速串行通信协议,具有全双工、半双工和单工的通信模式。传输物理介质除了采用光纤之外,也支持铜缆等多种介质,但是后者具有较低的数据传输速率,不能有效发挥FC协议的优势。FC协议的结构类似于OSI、TCP、IP,其具有5层结构,分别是FC-0接口与媒体层、FC-1传输协议层、FC-2链路控制层、FC-3通用服务层、FC-4协议映射层,图3直观展示了FC各层结构以及各层的功能。
在FC协议中定义了点对点、仲裁环、交换3种形式的拓扑结构10。点对点结构简单,整个结构中只有两个端点,在理论上能够在全双工通信模式下完全利用光纤最大的传输带宽。仲裁环拓扑结构如图4所示。在整个环形网络中,同一时刻只有一个节点进行数据的传输,当某个节点需要发起数据的传输,需要在环形网络处于空闲状态时,通过仲裁获得网络的使用权。仲裁环拓扑结构相较于点对点形式,能够挂载最高不超过126个节点。
交换拓扑结构如图5所示,交换拓扑结构相较于点对点、仲裁环拓扑结构,具有更好的扩展性,在工程上容易实现交换的双冗余结构,符合航天领域的双冗余设计。交换端口能在同一时刻与所连端口建立连接,且各个节点与交换机采用点到点的连接方式,在交换机与各个节点之间能够达到最大的传输速率,而且在理论上能够接入高达4 194 304个节点,特别适用于复杂系统。但是交换拓扑结构的实现方式相较于点对点、仲裁环拓扑结构更具有挑战性,交换机为了缓存各个节点的数据,往往会在交换机中加入双数据速率(Double Data Rate,DDR)等大容量存储,有较高的硬件成本。在实际的工程应用中,往往是3种拓扑结构的混合使用,以满足不同场景下的不同需求。
FC-AE-1553总线节点以FPGA作为开发平台,充分利用成熟可靠的IP核,实现FC-AE各分层功能,兼容有GTX资源的各种芯片,比如Xilinx 的K7、Z7以及国产的FPGA芯片。
FC-1层:利用FPGA中的GTX IP核完成并行数据和串行信号之间的转换以及编码解码工作。并从接收数据中对齐32 bit字边界,通过发送和接收32 bit原语,和对端设备建立链接,从FC-2层输入和向FC-2层输出32 bit字码流。
FC-2层:在FC帧发送方向,FC帧发送模块接收FC-3层下发的数据信息,添加帧头、帧尾、CRC校验等字段后发送到链路上;在FC帧接收方向,FC帧接收模块检测FC帧的帧头、帧尾来提取完整FC帧,然后判断完整FC帧的CRC校验是否正确、帧长是否合法等,最后将合法有效的FC帧送入FC-3层中。
FC-3层:实现热双冗余功能。在FC帧发送方向,发送冗余模块接收FC-4层下发的FC帧数据,然后同时向两个FC帧发送模块发送相同的FC帧数据,实现冗余发送功能;在接收方向,接收冗余模块同时从两个FC接收模块接收FC帧数据并去掉冗余的FC帧数据,然后将非冗余FC帧数据送入FC-4层中,实现冗余接收功能。
FC-4层:发送调度模块用于处理NC状态机、NT状态机发送的FC帧数据请求,该模块采用轮询的机制将待发送的FC帧数据按照顺序依次送入FC-3层。接收调度模块用于仲裁FC-3层送入的FC帧数据的去向,该模块通过解析FC-3层送入的FC帧帧头信息,然后依据帧头信息将FC帧数据送入NC状态机或NT状态机或NM状态机。NC状态机模块实现FC-AE-1553协议中的NC节点功能,NT状态机模块实现FC-AE-1553协议中NT节点功能,NM状态机模块实现监听功能。
将时间同步技术用于FC-AE-1553总线,使得FC-AE-1553总线通信网络具有时间敏感性。综合FC-AE三种拓扑接口,采用FC-AE的交换拓扑结构,将交换机的接口划分为3种类型:时间同步接口、交换级联接口、普通接口。时间同步接口与主节点连接实现点对点时间同步,交换级联接口实现两个交换机之间的点对点时间同步,交换机再通过普通接口分发交换机本地时间字到各个节点来实现FC-AE-1553总线全局时间同步。时间同步接口、交换级联接口的时间同步流程如图2所示,是双向同步,而普通接口是单向时间同步即交换机与节点之间没有时间字的动态调整过程。交换机节点基于Xilinx的K7系列的FPGA实现,具有12个端口,其中2个时间同步接口,2个交换级联接口,8个普通接口。
本文提出的FC-AE-1553总线采用双冗余设计,其中每个节点采用两条线路,实现AB冗余。交换机采用设备冗余,为A、B交换机,A交换机与各节点的A线路连接,B交换机与各节点的B线路连接。采用双冗余设计大大提高了通信的可靠性,以满足在恶劣条件下的使用的需求。
FC-AE-1553是一种命令+响应的消息结构,NC作为网络控制器调度整个网络的通信,当NT接收到NC发出的命令帧后,首先解析命令帧,再进行相应的操作。运载火箭电气系统需要实时地采集全箭数据,如果采集节点在解析完命令帧后再进行数据的采集、上传,那么NC接收到的数据是上一个周期采集节点的数据,数据引入了延迟而不能实时反映火箭的工作状态。
本文提出的FC-AE-1553总线技术,具有时间敏感性,且通信网络中的各个节点具有相同的时间基准,运载火箭电气系统可实时采集各个节点的数据,或者采集某一时刻的数据。
首先,在各节点完成时间同步后,NC节点根据本地时间与采集节点采集数据所用时间计算出未来的时间TF,通过广播消息格式将时间信息字送至各个节点。各个节点解析出接收到的时间信息TF和本节点时间之间的差值,发起数据的采集,并在TF之前将数据写入采集节点缓存,如此NC当前调度的节点数据即为实时数据,具体流程如图6所示。图6为25 ms的帧周期,将25 ms帧周期划分为4个6.25 ms的子帧,每一个子帧在调度NT数据之前,通过广播将采集时刻发送到各个NT节点,随后NC调度各个NT采集数据。
具体算法步骤如下:
Step1:设置NC与NT之间通信延时为Tdelay
Step2:计算NC与NT之间通信延时,设NC发出时间同步原语时刻为T1,NT接收到时间同步原语时刻为T2,NC接收到NT回传时间同步回令时刻为T3,则Tdelay为NC与NT之间的通信延时,其值由式(1)得出:

为了验证本文设计的FC-AE-1553总线的时间同步精度、冗余设计等技术功能,搭建了验证系统。验证系统包含2个NC节点、2个交换机、6个NT节点、1台有线PCM解调站。其中NC节点分为主NC节点和备NC节点,备NC节点在主NC节点下线或者故障后,接替主NC节点作为FC-AE-1553通信网络的时间同步主节点以及消息调度。一个交换机由交换模块A和交换模块B构成,形成交换设备冗余。有线PCM解调站的主要功能是接收NC节点综合6个NT节点后的全帧数据,并分析全帧数据的完整性,具体验证系统拓扑结构如图7所示,为一个二级网络验证系统,按图7拓扑结构搭建的实物系统如图8所示。
测试设备包括示波器,主NC节点、交换机、NT节点,验证NC-NT、NC-交换机1-NT、NC-交换机1-交换机2-NT三种拓扑结构中NC与NT节点之间的时间同步精度,测试结果如图9~11所示。其中NC-NT之间的同步精度最高为73 ns,当接入交换机后,由于传输延迟增大,时间同步精度有所降低,NC-交换机1-NT的时间同步精度为99.1 ns,NC-交换机1-交换机2-NT的时间同步精度为151.4 ns。
将本文实现的算法与其他算法9-11进行比较,结果如表1所示。
通过比较,本文提出并工程实现的时间同步算法的精度达到了纳秒级,相较于基于MIL-STD-1553的消息查询法,提高了3个数量级的精度,虽然随着通信网络层数变多,精度略有下降,但精度误差只有150 ns。
该测试由整个验证系统参与,主要测试NT节点B路总线断开、交换机B模块下线、主NC节点下线 3种状态下,FC-AE-1553总线网络是否稳定。人为依次断开NT节点B路总线、下线一级交换B模块、下线主NC节点,解调站记录过程中的数据变化。整个过程中数据稳定,通信正常,当主NC节点下线后,备NC自动上线后,数据恢复正常。试验表明,数据通信链路双冗余设计、交换设备双冗余设计、NC节点主备冗余设计可保证可靠的实时数据传输,可满足运载火箭电气系统的需求。
本文设计的FC-AE-1553总线具备时间敏感性、双冗余、通信稳定、高速率的特点,符合运载火箭电气系统的发展需求,与MIL-STD-1553B12相比,系统带宽由1 Mbit/s提高到了1~4 Gbit/s;时间同步算法精度从微秒级提高到了纳秒级;基于时间同步的消息调度,采集数据具有更高的时效性;基于时间同步的消息调度,总线负载具有可预见性以及消息传输的稳定性。
