A long-life and high-stability grease is developed to meet the demand of long-life lubrication condition with storage requirement. The physical and chemical properties,biodegradability, bearing life and rheology of the grease are studied. The results show that compared with the commercial grease, long-life and high-stability grease has lower evaporation loss at high temperature and lower oil separation ratio, which shows that it has better volatility and colloidal stability. The wear scar diameter of SRV test is smaller, and the life of wheel bearing and FE9 is longer, indicating that it has better anti-wear performance, lubrication performance and oxidation stability. The cumulative biodegradation rate in 28 days is 1.82%, which is much lower than 29.19% of the commercial grease. The rheological tests show that it has better structural stability. The developed long-life and high-stability grease has excellent comprehensive performance and can be used in the long-life application environment with long-term storage requirements and harsh working conditions.

针对有贮存要求的润滑工况需求,开发了长寿命高稳定性润滑脂,并考察其理化性能、生物降解性、轴承寿命和流变学等性能。结果表明:与现用商品润滑脂相比,长寿命高稳定性润滑脂的钢网分油率更低、高温蒸发损失更小,说明其具有更好的胶体安定性和挥发性;SRV试验的磨斑直径更小,轮毂轴承寿命和FE9寿命更长,说明其具有更优的抗磨性能、润滑性能和氧化安定性;28天累计生物降解率为1.82%,远低于现用商品润滑脂的29.19%,说明其具有更好的贮存稳定性;流变学试验表明其具有更好结构保持能力。研制的长寿命高稳定性润滑脂综合性能优良,可用于有长期贮存要求且工况苛刻的长寿命应用环境。

针对有贮存要求的润滑工况需求,开发了长寿命高稳定性润滑脂,并考察其理化性能、生物降解性、轴承寿命和流变学等性能。结果表明:与现用商品润滑脂相比,长寿命高稳定性润滑脂的钢网分油率更低、高温蒸发损失更小,说明其具有更好的胶体安定性和挥发性;SRV试验的磨斑直径更小,轮毂轴承寿命和FE9寿命更长,说明其具有更优的抗磨性能、润滑性能和氧化安定性;28天累计生物降解率为1.82%,远低于现用商品润滑脂的29.19%,说明其具有更好的贮存稳定性;流变学试验表明其具有更好结构保持能力。研制的长寿命高稳定性润滑脂综合性能优良,可用于有长期贮存要求且工况苛刻的长寿命应用环境。

A long-life and high-stability grease is developed to meet the demand of long-life lubrication condition with storage requirement. The physical and chemical properties,biodegradability, bearing life and rheology of the grease are studied. The results show that compared with the commercial grease, long-life and high-stability grease has lower evaporation loss at high temperature and lower oil separation ratio, which shows that it has better volatility and colloidal stability. The wear scar diameter of SRV test is smaller, and the life of wheel bearing and FE9 is longer, indicating that it has better anti-wear performance, lubrication performance and oxidation stability. The cumulative biodegradation rate in 28 days is 1.82%, which is much lower than 29.19% of the commercial grease. The rheological tests show that it has better structural stability. The developed long-life and high-stability grease has excellent comprehensive performance and can be used in the long-life application environment with long-term storage requirements and harsh working conditions.

润滑脂由于其独特的性能在国民经济各个行业中有着广泛的应用,可满足设备的润滑、防护与密封1。随着机械工业的快速发展,机械设备运行环境日益复杂,使用温度越来越高,运行速度越来越快,负载量也不断增加,对所用润滑脂的性能和使用寿命都提出了新的挑战2-3
关于长寿命润滑脂,国内外有相关报道4-7,石俊峰等8对4种轮毂轴承润滑脂的流变性能、抗剪切性能、抗水性能和胶体安定性进行考察,发现采用新型复合锂稠化剂制备的润滑脂综合性能优异,能够为轮毂轴承提供良好的润滑,达到商用车行驶里程的润滑需求。赵军等9研制了一款旨在延长使用寿命并增强抗磨性的电机轴承润滑脂,并对使用了518 h前后的润滑脂进行考察,结果表明使用前后润滑脂整体性能变化不明显,其氧化安定性和抗磨性能仍然较好。王顺顺等10使用复合稠化剂制备了一款旨在延长使用寿命同时具有低扭矩的轴承润滑脂,可以为有该需求的密封轴承提供润滑。苗巧娜等11采用脂肪酸锂稠化复合基础油并加入多种添加剂制备了能够满足有低温、长寿命、低噪声等苛刻工况要求的密封轴承用润滑脂。郑会等12采用酰胺钠和全氟聚醚复合稠化剂制备了一种长寿命低挥发润滑脂并进行性能评价。
目前的研究主要集中在润滑脂的使用寿命,但在实际工况中常常涉及长贮存过程,而且贮存场景下设备在全生命周期内不便进行润滑脂的添加和更换,这就要求润滑脂不仅有长使用寿命而且具有较高的贮存稳定性。润滑脂要具备长贮条件,各组分必须稳定,不易挥发,并且能够抵抗环境中微生物的降解,不易与环境因素发生物理化学作用。即各组分挥发性越小越好,生物惰性和化学惰性越大越好,受环境因素的影响越小越好。
为了进一步提升润滑脂的胶体安定性、寿命和贮存稳定性,同时为有贮存要求的长寿命苛刻工况提供润滑解决方案,本研究制备了长寿命高稳定性润滑脂,并考察了其理化性能、生物降解性和流变学性能。
基础油PAO 8,工业纯,中国石化茂名石油化工有限公司产品,100 ℃运动黏度7.83 mm2/s,40 ℃运动黏度46.88 mm2/s,黏度指数136,倾点-63 ℃,闪点253 ℃。全氟聚醚基础油,工业纯,中国石化润滑油有限公司北京分公司产品,100 ℃运动黏度27.66 mm2/s,40 ℃运动黏度93.38 mm2/s,黏度指数326,倾点小于-75 ℃。
聚四氟乙烯微粉,南京天诗新材料科技有限公司产品,平均粒径5 μm,比表面积 6.99 m2/g,熔点325 ℃。十八胺、对苯二甲酸二甲酯、氢氧化钠、N,N—二甲基甲酰胺,均为试验试剂,阿拉丁生化科技股份有限公司产品。
酰胺钠稠化剂制备:在150 ℃条件下,将对苯二甲酸二甲酯与十八胺置于N,N—二甲基甲酰胺溶剂中回流8 h,加入氢氧化钠进行4 h皂化反应,在蒸发除去溶剂之后,将其洗涤、纯化、干燥,以获得酰胺钠稠化剂。
酰胺钠润滑脂制备:常温下,在2 000 mL反应釜中加入910 g基础油PAO 8和90 g酰胺钠稠化剂,搅拌均匀后缓慢升温,在210 ℃进行高温炼制10 min,冷却至室温,三辊研磨机研磨2遍。
全氟聚醚润滑脂制备:常温下,在1 000 mL容器中加入250 g聚四氟乙烯微粉和750 g全氟醚基础油,超声30 min后,三辊研磨机研磨2遍。
长寿命高稳定性润滑脂制备:按比例分别称取酰胺钠润滑脂和全氟聚醚润滑脂,将二者混合,向混合物中加入抗氧化剂、防锈剂及极压抗磨剂,并通过充分搅拌使其达到均匀状态,用三辊研磨机研磨2遍。
润滑脂的分析方法见表1,试验仪器见表2
酰胺钠润滑脂、全氟聚醚润滑脂和长寿命高稳定性润滑脂(下简称新研脂)理化性能测试结果见表3。由表3可知,新研脂的1/4锥入度低于酰胺钠润滑脂和全氟聚醚润滑脂,说明其稠度增大;新研脂的滴点略高于酰胺钠润滑脂,比全氟聚醚润滑脂高118 ℃;新研脂钢网分油明显低于酰胺钠润滑脂和全氟聚醚润滑脂;新研脂的磨斑直径也显著低于酰胺钠润滑脂和全氟聚醚润滑脂。说明新研脂比酰胺钠润滑脂和全氟聚醚润滑脂具有更好的稠度、高温性能、胶体安定性和抗磨性能,这也说明酰胺钠润滑脂和全氟聚醚润滑脂具有协同增效作用。
新研脂和现用商品润滑脂(下简称酰钠商品脂)理化性能测试结果见表4。由表4可知,酰钠商品脂略稠于新研脂;二者滴点相当且均具有较好的防腐防锈性;同时,新研脂100 ℃钢网分油率比酰钠商品润滑脂低89.34%,99 ℃蒸发损失比酰钠商品脂低60%,177 ℃蒸发损失比酰钠商品脂低40.89%,38 ℃水淋流失量比酰钠商品脂低36.11%,-30 ℃起动转矩比酰钠商品脂低22.66%,运转转矩比酰钠商品脂低55.17%,氧化安定性压力降比酰钠商品脂低40%,综上所述,新研脂的胶体安定性、耐高温性、低温性及抗氧化性均优于酰钠商品脂。
按照标准方法SH/T 0721测试两种润滑脂的摩擦磨损性能,试验温度50 ℃,负荷200 N,频率50 Hz,冲程振幅1.00 mm,持续时间2 h,新研脂的磨斑直径为0.59 mm,酰钠商品脂由于摩擦系数过大无法完成试验。
两种润滑脂试验过程中的摩擦系数见图1。从图1可以看出,酰钠商品脂在试验开始后,摩擦系数快速上升,最高至0.659,70 s试验停止,试验过程中新研脂的摩擦系数较为平稳。
利用白光干涉仪对两种润滑脂SRV试验后钢球的磨斑表面形貌进行观察,结果见图2。由图2可见,酰钠商品脂试验钢球的磨斑较大且磨痕较深,新研脂试验钢球的磨斑较小且磨痕也较浅。进一步计算新研脂和酰钠商品脂的磨损体积分别是3.9×105 μm3和1.5×106 μm3,说明新研脂的抗磨性能更优。
润滑脂的使用寿命通常通过润滑脂在滚动轴承中的最长使用寿命来评价,该性能直接关系到轴承的运行效能及使用寿命,对一次性注油脂并长期运转设备尤为重要13-14
轮毂轴承寿命测试是评定润滑脂高温寿命特性直接且有效的方法。按照标准方法SH/T 0773测试新研脂和酰钠商品脂的轮毂轴承寿命,试验结果见表5。从表5可以看出,与酰钠商品脂相比,新研脂寿命增加了61.6%,具有更长的轮毂轴承寿命。
试验过程中电流变化趋势见图3,两种润滑脂起动电流较高,磨合阶段后电流趋于平稳。酰钠商品脂运行700 h时电流明显升高,760 h电流超出断流值,试验停止。新研脂运行680 h时电流有小幅度升高,而后电流在小范围内波动,运行至1 000 h时电流有小幅度升高,直至试验停止。
高温润滑脂须经台架试验验证其可靠性,以确保使用该润滑脂的机械设备运行的稳定性。舍弗勒公司生产的FE9型滚动轴承润滑脂寿命试验机能够达到DIN 51821的试验要求,而且该方法已被许多润滑脂产品规范所采纳15。FE9寿命试验机见图4,该设备配有5个测试单元,能够同时进行5组测试。新研脂和酰钠商品脂的试验结果见表6,试验后轴承状态见图5
表6可以看出,酰钠商品脂轴承寿命最短4 h,最长12 h;新研脂寿命最短12 h,最长48 h,均远大于酰钠商品脂。按照GB/T 34987—2017第7.2章节计算新研脂和酰钠商品脂的F50寿命分别是25 h和8.5 h。
图5可以看出,部分润滑脂并没有参与润滑,这可能是在运转初期,在高转速条件下,由于离心作用,部分润滑脂从轴承滚道内被“甩出”,在高载荷和高转速双重作用下,这部分润滑脂难以回到轨道内,这也是酰钠商品脂FE9寿命较短的原因。综上所述,新研脂比酰钠商品脂有更长的轴承寿命。
当润滑脂所处的工作环境温度上升时,其氧化速率会随之加快,一般认为环境温度每增加10 ℃,润滑脂的使用寿命减半。按照常温贮存最高温度为40 ℃,引入高温变量,当设定温度为140 ℃时,预计8.5 h高温烘烤相当于贮存1年。将两种润滑脂在140 ℃烘箱中高温烘烤8.5 h后进行锥入度和滴点测试,测试结果见表7
表7可以看出,加速试验后,新研脂1/4工作锥入度变化率为‒1.05%,滴点变化率为0.32%。加速试验后,酰钠商品脂1/4工作锥入度变化率显著大于新研脂,二者滴点变化率相当。
润滑脂要具备较长的贮存寿命,各组分需不易被微生物降解,测试两种润滑脂在有氧水环境中的固有生物降解率将有助于判断样品的生物降解性。
试验方法:OECD化学品测试方法No.302C改进的MITI试验。
试验机构:上海化工院检测有限公司。
活性污泥接种物:接种物为采自上海各码头、污水处理厂、河流等的新鲜地表水、表土及活性污泥的混合物,试验开始前进行驯化37天,浓度为4 620 mg/L。
试验过程中,两种润滑脂的生化需氧量和生物降解率分别见图6图7,28天累计生化需氧量和生物降解率见表8,生化需氧量为无量纲单位。
从上述图表可以看出,在氧水环境中,酰钠商品脂28天累计生物降解率为29.19%,新研脂28天累计生物降解率为1.82%,仅为酰钠商品脂累计生物降解率的6.24%,可推知新研脂具有更长的贮存寿命。
当受到外力作用时,润滑脂发生的变形和流动称为润滑脂的流变性。当外力作用较小时,剪切所产生的动能会转变为势能,此时弹性特性可以用储能模量(G′)表示。当剪切作用逐渐增强,储能模量开始下降的点称为屈服点,它标志着线性黏弹区的结束,该点的剪切应力称为屈服应力(τ y)。随着剪切作用的进一步增强,剪切动能超出弹性形变,润滑脂将产生不可逆的形变且开始流动。此时润滑脂的黏性特性可以通过耗损模量(G′′)来衡量。G′与G′′变化曲线的交点称为流动点,对应的剪切应力称为流动应力(τ f16
用流变仪对两种润滑脂在多种温度条件下的储能模量(G′)和耗损模量(G′′)进行测量,结果见图8。由图8可知,两种润滑脂模量曲线有相似的变化趋势,即润滑脂模量随应变的增大而减小;新研脂在‒30 ℃时和25 ℃时具有更宽的线性黏弹区,160 ℃时,两种润滑脂均没有明显的线性黏弹区。
两种润滑脂的黏弹性特征参数见表9,可以看出,两种润滑脂在不同温度下的损耗系数(tanδ)都很小,说明在测试过程中润滑脂的弹性占据主导地位。
为了模拟润滑脂在低速运转条件下的工作状态,使用流变仪对不同恒定温度下,剪切速率从0.01 s-1增至100 s-1过程中润滑脂黏度的变化情况进行了测试,结果见图9。两种润滑脂的起始黏度和终末黏度见表10
表10可以看出,两种润滑脂的黏度随剪切时间增长而表现出的趋势大致相同,均表现为随剪切速率的增大而逐渐降低,并最终趋于稳定。‒30 ℃时,新研脂的起始黏度比酰钠商品脂大1.67%,终末黏度比酰钠商品脂大9.15%。25 ℃时,新研脂的起始黏度比酰钠商品脂大3.97%,终末黏度比酰钠商品脂大11.66%。160 ℃时,新研脂的起始黏度比酰钠商品脂小226.05%,终末黏度比酰钠商品脂大8.94%。说明在低速运转条件下新研脂比酰钠商品脂具有更好的结构保持能力。
当受到外力剪切时,润滑脂分子会经历定向排列、伸展和解缠绕过程,导致润滑脂黏度随着剪切速率增大而逐渐减小。当剪切速率降低时,分子定向等现象会迅速调整并逐渐恢复,但其恢复速度一般慢于破坏速度,得到润滑脂的触变环曲线。润滑脂触变环面积的大小与其剪切后结构恢复能力成反比,即面积越大,结构恢复能力越弱,面积越小,则结构恢复能力越强。
各温度下样品触变环面积见表11。两种润滑脂在不同温度下的触变环曲线见图10图12。在恒定温度下,剪切速率从0.01 s-1升至4 000 s-1,并以4 000 s-1的剪切速率持续剪切,然后再从4 000 s-1逐渐减小到0.01 s-1,分别测定润滑脂的黏度。
表11可以看出,‒30 ℃时两种润滑脂触变环面积相当,25 ℃时,新研脂触变环面积比酰钠商品脂小68.10%,160 ℃时,新研脂触变环面积比酰钠商品脂小45.27%,说明在高速运转条件下新研脂比酰钠商品脂具有更好的结构保持能力。
针对长寿命有贮存要求的润滑工况需求,开发了长寿命高稳定性润滑脂,研究了长寿命高稳定性润滑脂和现用商品润滑脂的理化性能、轴承寿命、生物降解性和流变学等性能,得到相关结论如下:
a)与现用商品润滑脂相比,长寿命高稳定性润滑脂理化性能更优,具有更好的胶体安定性、抗水淋性、氧化安定性和更低的蒸发损失。
b)模拟加速试验后长寿命高稳定性润滑脂的稠度变化明显小于现用商品润滑脂。生物降解性试验后,长寿命高稳定性润滑脂28天累计生物降解率为1.82%,现用商品润滑脂28天累计生物降解率为29.19%,说明在贮存过程中长寿命高稳定性润滑脂更稳定。
c)流变学试验表明,与现用商品润滑脂相比,长寿命高稳定性润滑脂具有更宽的线性黏弹区和更好的结构保持能力。
d)SRV和寿命试验表明,与现用商品润滑脂相比,长寿命高稳定性润滑脂具有更好的抗磨性能和更长的使用寿命。
综上可知,长寿命高稳定性润滑脂综合性能优良,可以为有贮存要求的长寿命工况提供润滑。
