Objective Significant advancements have been made in the research of sandy braided river deltas, but the sedimentary characteristics and evolution laws of sandy braided river deltas require further study, particularly the understanding of mouth bars and distributary sand bars. Methods Based on the underground reservoir data, this study used the Delft3D software to show the growth and evolution of a sandy braided river delta into a lake, summarizing its sedimentary characteristics and evolution laws. Results The evolution of a sandy braided river delta has three stages. In the early stage, the delta grows fastest, and the average diameter growth rate was greater than 6 m/step. Sediments are carried into the lake and quickly unloaded, forming a large flower-shaped mouth bar under the water. In the middle stage, the delta plain continues growing, and the delta front remains large, accounting for more than 50% of the delta area. Contiguous sand bodies are built. In the late stage, the delta grows slowly, the average diameter growth rate is maintained at 1m/step. The front area is small, less than 20% of the overall area. The delta plain has many distributary channels and ditches, leading to multiple paths for transforming the distributary sand bars. The delta front sand bars have different degrees of superposition and rhythm combination characteristics, and the distributary sand bars are built on the residual mouth bar. Conclusions A sedimentary model of a sandy braided river delta was established, providing reference for the genetic identification of distributary sand bar and mouth bar, and laying the foudation for advancing underground reservoir architecture research.

目的 国内外学者对砂质辫状河三角洲的研究获得了丰富的成果,但对砂质辫状河三角洲的沉积特征以及演化规律有着不同的观点,特别是对于河口坝、分流砂坝等沉积单元的认识有待进一步探讨。 方法 基于油田地下储层资料,利用Delft3D沉积数值模拟软件再现砂质辫状河三角洲入湖生长演化过程,总结砂质辫状河三角洲沉积特征和演化规律。 结果 (1)砂质辫状河三角洲的演化可划分为三个阶段。(2)初期阶段三角洲生长最快,平均直径增长速率大于6 m/step,辫状河携带沉积物入湖快速卸载形成大型朵状河口坝,此时三角洲整体处于水面之下。(3)中期阶段三角洲平原持续生长,三角洲前缘面积较大,占三角洲整体面积50%以上,且发育连片砂体。(4)晚期阶段三角洲发育缓慢,平均直径增长速率维持在1 m/step,前缘面积较小,小于三角洲整体面积的20%。(5)三角洲平原发育大量分流河道和串沟水道,分流砂坝存在多种改造方式。(6)三角洲前缘砂坝存在不同程度的叠置关系和韵律组合特征,分流砂坝在残余河口坝之上发育。 结论 该研究建立了砂质辫状河三角洲沉积模式,为成因上识别分流砂坝与河口坝提供参考,为提升地下储层构型研究奠定基础。

目的 国内外学者对砂质辫状河三角洲的研究获得了丰富的成果,但对砂质辫状河三角洲的沉积特征以及演化规律有着不同的观点,特别是对于河口坝、分流砂坝等沉积单元的认识有待进一步探讨。 方法 基于油田地下储层资料,利用Delft3D沉积数值模拟软件再现砂质辫状河三角洲入湖生长演化过程,总结砂质辫状河三角洲沉积特征和演化规律。 结果 (1)砂质辫状河三角洲的演化可划分为三个阶段。(2)初期阶段三角洲生长最快,平均直径增长速率大于6 m/step,辫状河携带沉积物入湖快速卸载形成大型朵状河口坝,此时三角洲整体处于水面之下。(3)中期阶段三角洲平原持续生长,三角洲前缘面积较大,占三角洲整体面积50%以上,且发育连片砂体。(4)晚期阶段三角洲发育缓慢,平均直径增长速率维持在1 m/step,前缘面积较小,小于三角洲整体面积的20%。(5)三角洲平原发育大量分流河道和串沟水道,分流砂坝存在多种改造方式。(6)三角洲前缘砂坝存在不同程度的叠置关系和韵律组合特征,分流砂坝在残余河口坝之上发育。 结论 该研究建立了砂质辫状河三角洲沉积模式,为成因上识别分流砂坝与河口坝提供参考,为提升地下储层构型研究奠定基础。

Objective Significant advancements have been made in the research of sandy braided river deltas, but the sedimentary characteristics and evolution laws of sandy braided river deltas require further study, particularly the understanding of mouth bars and distributary sand bars. Methods Based on the underground reservoir data, this study used the Delft3D software to show the growth and evolution of a sandy braided river delta into a lake, summarizing its sedimentary characteristics and evolution laws. Results The evolution of a sandy braided river delta has three stages. In the early stage, the delta grows fastest, and the average diameter growth rate was greater than 6 m/step. Sediments are carried into the lake and quickly unloaded, forming a large flower-shaped mouth bar under the water. In the middle stage, the delta plain continues growing, and the delta front remains large, accounting for more than 50% of the delta area. Contiguous sand bodies are built. In the late stage, the delta grows slowly, the average diameter growth rate is maintained at 1m/step. The front area is small, less than 20% of the overall area. The delta plain has many distributary channels and ditches, leading to multiple paths for transforming the distributary sand bars. The delta front sand bars have different degrees of superposition and rhythm combination characteristics, and the distributary sand bars are built on the residual mouth bar. Conclusions A sedimentary model of a sandy braided river delta was established, providing reference for the genetic identification of distributary sand bar and mouth bar, and laying the foudation for advancing underground reservoir architecture research.

辫状河三角洲由辫状河供源的富砂粗粒三角洲,是陆相湖盆边缘和海陆过渡相带常见的一类沉积体系(McPherson et al.,1987于兴河,2008),其储集性能较好的沉积体常常作为主力油层开发(于兴河等,1995)。我国陆相沉积盆地中发育着大量砂质辫状河三角洲储层且伴有大规模油气储集资源,如渤海湾盆地(董月霞等,2014赵国祥等,2018)、塔里木盆地(朱卫红等,2016袁纯等,2020)、准噶尔盆地(朱筱敏等,2008李亚龙等,2017)、鄂尔多斯盆地(朱筱敏等,2013李志华和黄文辉,2017)、柴达木盆地(杜忠明等,2013刘畅等,2018)、珠江口盆地(万琼华等,2019)、琼东南盆地(李增学等,2018)、松辽盆地(樊奇等,2018)、吐哈盆地(毕建福等,2010)、酒西盆地(秦国省等,2017)等。因此,砂质辫状河三角洲的沉积过程、沉积特征以及沉积模式一直是沉积学和储层地质学的热点研究对象。
近年来大量学者围绕地下储层、露头和现代沉积,在对砂质辫状河三角洲沉积特征和沉积模式的研究中取得了丰富的成果(周丽清等,1999Roelvink,2006张昌民等,2010吴穹螈等,2019吴胜和等,2019江远鹏等,2020刘伟新等,2022林承焰等,2023周琨,2023),但关于辫状河三角洲沉积模式以及包括分流砂坝在内的各沉积微相的沉积特征仍存在争议,其中最主要的是关于分流砂坝与河口坝的界定。部分学者将反韵律特征的河口坝视为分流砂坝,并作为三角洲主体砂体广泛发育(吴胜和等,2019),当湖泊水体作用影响较小时,具有反韵律之外特征的砂坝仍被视为河口坝(张昌民等,2010)。此外,在地下储层的构型研究中,部分学者将漏斗形、箱形或漏斗形—箱形的测井曲线特征均识别为分流砂坝单元(吴穹螈等,2019江远鹏等,2020刘伟新等,2022周琨,2023)。但另一部分学者在露头分析和地下储层研究中,将正韵律或均质韵律特征的分流砂坝作为河道成因砂体并作为独立沉积构型刻画出来(朱卫红等,2016袁纯等,2020),且分流河道水体能量较强时,河口坝发育规模受限(周丽清等,1999)。当前基于露头、地下储层及现代沉积的沉积现象分析,难以展现辫状河三角洲形成过程全貌以及内部结构的变化。
沉积数值模拟技术是基于泥沙水动力学以及三维水动力场的数学模型研究技术,沉积学家从沉积动力学的角度,根据特定沉积条件对三角洲、河流等常见沉积体进行模拟研究,使其成为对沉积过程和沉积构型研究的一种新兴研究方法(林承焰等,2023)。为进一步深化对辫状河三角洲沉积过程和沉积模式的认识,明确辫状河三角洲主要砂体的动态沉积特征,本文采用Delft3D沉积数值模拟软件对辫状河三角洲进行数值模拟,根据观察不同时间切片的平面和剖面沉积特征,建立砂质辫状河三角洲砂体沉积演化模式。
为了还原研究区砂质辫状河三角洲生长发育过程,并完整观察砂体沉积构型特征,本文收集统计了国内各大辫状河水文数据,以埕北油田东营组二段上亚段Ⅱ油组辫状河三角洲实际地下资料为基础,设定沉积过程数值模拟的边界条件,采用Delft3D软件模拟三角洲生长发育过程,总结其沉积特征,构建辫状河三角洲砂体的沉积演化模式。
Delft3D软件是由荷兰代尔夫特大学Deltares中心开发的三维水动力数值模拟软件,主要包含水动力(Delft3D-FLOW)、波浪(Delft3D-WAVE)、水质(Delft3D-WAQ)等7大模块。本研究采用适用于三角洲沉积过程模拟的Delft3D-FLOW模块开展模拟。模拟以描述水动力的纳维—斯托克斯方程(N-S方程)为基础,遵循流体动量守恒与物质守恒定律,并结合物质平衡方程,实现沉积物搬运以及沉积地貌演变的三维模拟(Roelvink,2006)。模拟采用逐步迭代的计算方式(图1),每一步迭代的计算流程为:(1)输入/更新边界条件;(2)输入/更新沉积底形;(3)流动方程求解;(4)沉积物搬运、沉积及剥蚀量计算;(5)底形高程变化计算。
以埕北油田东营组发育的辫状河三角洲地质资料为基础,参考国内现代辫状河段资料,设置本次模拟实验参数,确保模拟结果与自然条件下辫状河三角洲的相似性。埕北油田位于渤海湾盆地西部,其东营组二段上亚段Ⅱ油组发育进积建设型砂质辫状河三角洲前缘沉积,单期砂坝增生体厚度为0.5~1.3 m,岩性主要为细砂岩和泥岩,砂岩平均中值粒径约为0.2 mm,砂泥占比分别是砂占70.95%,泥占29.05%。沉积时期古地貌坡降平均1.01‰,根据前人研究相关经验公式计算(田景春等,2011),研究层段沉积时河流速度至少为3.02 m/s。通过Google Earth测量和相关研究文献资料统计(李志威,2013周宝佳等,2021;刘警阳等,2023),国内现代河流的辫状河段(雅鲁藏布江中段、通天河、黄河源干流等)宽度为415~4 600 m,平均含沙量为0.13~0.79 kg/m3
本次模型网格设置为:(1)湖盆模拟计算区域为13 km×8 km、底部坡降为1‰、形态平缓、向盆地中心倾斜的楔形缓坡,深度由4 m线性过渡到12 m(图2)。(2)在湖盆南部设置一条宽2 km、长5 km和深2 m的辫状河,以此实现辫状河入湖沉积。(3)粗糙网格分辨率会导致模型结果失真,考虑到算力条件和模型稳定性,将单一网格大小设置为25 m×25 m,以保证大于25 m宽度的单一分流河道至少有1个网格单元用于计算。(4)根据以上几何尺寸设定,将湖盆区域划分为520×320个网格,辫状河区域划分为80×200个网格,总网格数达182 400个。
本次模型设置细砂和泥两种沉积物组分,砂泥占比为7∶3,沉积物总浓度设定为0.2 kg/m3,其中砂质组分为0.14 kg/m3,泥质组分为0.06 kg/m3,砂质组分中值粒径取值为0.2 mm,与参考值相近。流速计算值3.02 m/s为最小流速且位置位于湖盆内部,考虑到流速随距离衰减,因此流速设置为3.5 m/s,并保持辫状河供给总水流量恒定为14 000 m3/s。本次研究对象为陆相湖盆辫状河三角洲,以河流为主要地质营力,因此忽略波浪和潮汐的影响,进出口边界条件仅考虑河流流量(total discharge)和水位(water level)。详细参数设置见表1
通过沉积数值模拟计算,再现砂质辫状河三角洲由辫状河初次入湖,然后随时间进积建设的动态演化过程(图3)。根据模型中三角洲生长的速率、发育规模,以及三角洲前缘增生特征,可将砂质辫状河三角洲发育划分为初期、中期和晚期三个演化阶段(图4f)。以200步长为间隔绘制了三角洲进积建设过程中的沉积厚度增量图,结果显示在三角洲生长发育不同时期,三角洲前端的河口坝存在着从环带状到彼此孤立分散发育的变化特征(图4c~f)。
在辫状河三角洲形成初期,砂质辫状河入湖后,由于受到湖泊水体的顶托作用,辫状河携带大量碎屑物质在河口处卸载堆积,形成了扇形的初始大型河口沉积体(图3a)。不同于曲流河三角洲的单一供给水道(冯文杰等,2017),辫状河在入湖口拥有众多汊道,在辫状河三角洲水下雏形形成后,辫状河的每一支汊道均在近源处形成2~3个水下分流河道,河道前端沉积的扇状、弧状和叶状的河口坝。三角洲整体呈现为水下的朵状、瑰瓣状沉积体(图3b)。随着分流河道的延伸和多级次分流,近源的相邻分流河道之间开始受较强河流营力控制作用而沉积分流砂坝(图4c)。此阶段的三角洲面积生长速度最快,平均直径增长速率大于6 m/step(图4a),且速率衰减也最快(图4b)。
由于河道不断供给,水下沉积物厚度逐渐变厚,随着近源水下可容空间的耗尽,砂坝开始逐渐露出水面初步形成三角洲平原(图3c),三角洲前缘面积相对较大,范围宽广,占三角洲整体面积50%以上。辫状河三角洲发育中期的分流河道相当活跃,三角洲平原开始发育串沟水道,部分串沟演化为新的分流河道,三角洲前缘分流河道不断分流形成次一级分流河道将碎屑物质不断携带至前端堆积,形成了以辫状河汊道为发育基础的辫状河三角洲河网系统(图3d)。
在整个中期发育阶段,三角洲沉积样式以垂向加积、侧向加积和顺流前积为主,其中前端河口坝发育顺流前积,分流砂坝受河道影响以顺流前积和侧向加积为主,少量分流河道以垂向加积方式被填充。三角洲前端的单个河口坝呈三角状、朵状或叶状,彼此侧向相连整体呈环带状生长发育(图4d),随着三角洲面积的逐渐增大,环带状河口坝复合体的面积逐渐减小,宽度变小(图4e)。分流砂坝面积扩大彼此复合拼接,同时分流河道又反复切割改造分流砂坝,使得砂坝内部关系十分复杂。
此阶段三角洲面积生长发育速度较初期阶段变缓,平均直径增长速率介于2~6 m/step(图4a),速率衰减有所变缓(图4b)。
在辫状河三角洲发育晚期(图3e,f),三角洲面积生长速度较缓慢,平均直径增长速率基本维持在1 m/step(图4a)。此时三角洲前缘规模相对较小,面积小于三角洲整体面积的20%,三角洲平原为三角洲主体。平原分流砂坝复合拼接形成大型沙洲,分流河道相对固定,砂坝表面更易受到串沟水道切割作用形成更多子砂坝,由于三角洲平原为暴露区,垂向上表现为沉积间断,仅有分流河道迁移使平原沙洲有少量侧向沉积。较大的面积和较长的岸线,使得河道延伸至三角洲前端的位置较为分散,三角洲前端河口坝彼此孤立分散发育,且发育面积较小,平面形态不规则(图4f)。
辫状河三角洲平原分流河道不存在快速摆动的现象,单支分流河道具有类似曲流河的沉积特征,在持续水动力供给下,平原分流河道对先期沉积体进行侵蚀和改造,侧向加积扩大分流砂坝面积进而形成大型沙洲,或是切割砂坝进而形成更多子砂坝。分流河道的垂向填充为砂坝的侧向拼接提供条件。平原分流砂坝之上串沟水道相对活跃,切割侵蚀砂坝顶部。三角洲平原的演变包括分流河道的侵蚀切割作用、侧向加积作用和衰退期的填积作用。
随着河床加深,三角洲平原的分流河道相对固定。活跃的分流河道水动力较强,容易产生侧向沉积,但随着分支汊口处可容空间的减小,河道水流受阻挡作用增强,河道开始进入衰退期。进入衰退期的分流河道以垂向加积为主,直至被填积。模拟区内发育4~5条主分流河道,宽100~200 m(图3d~f)。这些分流河道的沉积和改造作用,造成了三角洲平原地貌和砂体沉积特征的持续变化。
以剖面A1—A2为例,在模拟过程中,第740~1 200步三角洲存在一个典型的分流河道侧向侵蚀、侧向沉积以及垂向填积的演化过程(图5a~c,g)。在740~940步过程中分流河道A逐渐向凹岸侧侵蚀并在凸岸侧沉积,并伴有明显下蚀作用,以河道底部为计量标准,分流河道A侧向迁移距离达170 m,下蚀深度约2 m。在侧积的过程中河道宽度有逐渐变窄、两岸逐渐收拢的趋势,侧积角逐渐变大,由3.4°左右过渡到最大24°左右。由于水体流速逐渐减弱(由1.6 m/s减小到1.3 m/s),从990步前后开始,分流河道A不再侧向迁移,河道沉积物开始垂向加积,河道内部逐渐被填充。分流河道A的填充过程中使得分流砂坝A、B逐渐拼接在一起,形成大型的沙洲。从沉积厚度增量图中(图4c,d)可以看出,辫状河三角洲平原发育中后期类似的分流河道侧向沉积现象较为多见,平原的沉积体普遍顺着河道呈条带状分布。
值得注意的是,在高砂泥比的供给条件下,除了河道活跃时的侧积物,辫状河三角洲平原仍是以高含量的砂质沉积物作为分流河道废弃后的填积物,泥质充填物占比很少(图5h,i),这使得河道填充后拼接的砂坝在横向上岩性仍具有一定的连续性但物性上存在差异。在更精细的砂体内部构型解剖方面,由于分流砂坝与河道内部垂向填积砂体形成的水动力条件不同,测井曲线特征也有所差异(朱卫红,2016),可以将二者进行区分。
串沟水道为窄浅型短程“小型冲沟”,位于砂坝顶部,能串通砂体两侧水流,与新河道在其规模和流量方面有着主要区别。平原地势的低洼处容易形成河道的冲决,主河道流体不断汇入冲沟并不断延伸,致使新河道的产生,新河道的形成并不一定伴随现有河道带的废弃(陈薪凯等,2023),足够强的供能保证主河道的相对稳定。与辫状河道心滩类似(张可等,2018张彬等,2021),辫状河三角洲平原分流砂坝顶部受到短暂冲蚀后发育串沟水道。串沟水道下蚀冲刷砂坝最终切割砂坝的河道为分流河道,新形成的分流河道深度一般大于7 m,而新形成的串沟水道深度不超过5 m。据观察,辫状河三角洲平原串沟水道经历“形成—发育壮大—形成分流河道”或“形成—发育壮大—废弃”两种演化路径。串沟的冲蚀充填作用使得三角洲平原沉积体内部结构复杂化。
以剖面B1—B2为例(图6),在模拟的第690~1 230步中,存在着串沟水道A的形成和衰退的演化过程,以及串沟水道B从形成到发育为分流河道的演化过程。在模拟的第690步之后,主分流河道在砂坝C的顶部开始汇聚水流(图6a,e),不断地冲蚀作用形成串沟水道A(图6b,e),在下蚀深度到达3 m时,串沟水道A开始进入衰退期,在垂向加积的过程中逐渐被填充废弃。在模拟的第1 170步后,串沟水道A的消失伴随着串沟水道B的开始出现(图6c,e),在模拟的第1 230步之后,串沟水道B的下蚀作用将砂坝C切割为独立的砂坝D和砂坝E,串沟水道B在这个过程中发育为分流河道(图6d,e)。
平原分流砂坝存在多种被改造方式。前文3.1.1节中介绍了分流河道的侧向沉积以及垂向填充作用使得相邻的平原分流砂坝相互拼接,而3.1.2节中完整的分流砂坝由于受到顶部串沟的下蚀作用而被切割为更多子砂坝。而在辫状河道中,河道侵蚀砂坝头部所带来的沉积物在砂坝的尾部堆积,心滩两侧的分流河道存在水动力和输砂能力的差异,水动力更强的一侧砂坝尾部沉积较为发育,心滩坝坝尾沉积物卸载会导致心滩坝复合(张可等,2018)。据观察,模拟过程中辫状河三角洲平原分流砂坝也存在着相似的复合现象(图7)。多砂坝拼接和不同程度的切割作用使得平原分流砂坝形成复杂的复合关系。
辫状河三角洲前缘水下分流河道十分活跃,具有侧向摆动快,分汊多,水流不稳定等特征,水下分流河道与湖水的交汇控制着河口坝的形成,高能量的水下分流河道控制着分流砂坝的生长。
建设性强、进积速度快的辫状河三角洲,对原河口沉积物的改造作用较强,河口坝难以完整地保存,其发育规模较为局限。平面上,河口坝位于分流道前端,呈现新月形、扇形和舌形,单一河口坝面积较小,坝体彼此分散,坝间为湖泊水体(图8)。区别于河口坝,分流砂坝镶嵌于分流河道之间,是前缘水下河流地质营力主导的沉积结果,在分流河道向前延伸的过程中,原始沉积的河口坝很快受到冲刷与改造,分流砂坝则在残余河口坝基础上生长发育,其侧向沉积与垂向加积完全受两侧河道营力控制。河道成因砂体构成三角洲沉积骨架砂体。
为明确前缘砂体沉积改造演化过程和内部结构变化,以分流砂坝H为例,根据不同模拟时间段砂体沉积后的相对高程绘制平面图和剖面图(图9)。据观察,在切水流方向上,在模拟的第250步,剖面D1—D2位置上河口坝开始沉积;在第470步前后,剖面位置开始明显受到两侧分流河道水力作用,原有河口坝受到侵蚀,而分流砂坝在此基础上开始垂向和侧向增生,垂积层和侧积层沉积厚度随模拟时间逐渐变薄,直至水下可容空间耗尽而出露水面,最终形成残余河口坝与分流砂坝的叠置沉积体。在顺流方向上,砂坝表现出前积特征,前积层向上逐渐减薄。
值得注意的是,三角洲的不同位置分流砂坝与河口坝在垂向上所保留的厚度比例不同。距离三角洲入湖口越近的位置,其受到河道的改造作用越强,保留下来的河口坝沉积越少,分流砂坝沉积越多。而越靠近三角洲前端,河口坝沉积越容易保留下来,在分流河道的最前端通常能见到完整沉积的河口坝(图1011)。
通过前人对露头的分析研究,分流砂坝在垂向上表现为均质韵律或正韵律特征(周丽清,1999林承焰,2023)。观察研究区目的层岩心特征和测井曲线形态,分流砂坝粒序上呈现均质韵律或正韵律,测井曲线形态为箱形,而河口坝表现为反粒序特征,测井曲线为漏斗形。在识别不同成因砂体后,同样能观察砂体垂向的冲刷叠置现象和平面的分布规律(图11)。在研究区三角洲靠物源方向(南部),主要发育分流砂坝,砂体测井曲线多表现为箱形或钟形特征;而越往北部方向,越多地出现下部漏斗形—上部箱形的组合特征,表明分流河道的改造过程较为强烈;越靠近三角洲前端,能发育和保留较为完整的河口坝沉积,砂体测井曲线多表现为漏斗形特征。
在砂质辫状河三角洲向湖盆进积的过程中,由辫状河道延伸而来的水下分流河道携带大量碎屑物质,在河口处与湖泊水体交汇,由于流速骤降而卸载形成河口坝沉积。三角洲生长较早期阶段单一河口坝面积较大,坝与坝叠置复合呈连片发育,晚期河口坝面积较小,发育规模有限(图12)。
分流砂坝为分流河道主导作用下的沉积产物,分流河道向湖中心突进过程中,对原有河口坝进行冲刷侵蚀,以侧向沉积和顺流加积的方式主导分流砂坝的生长。残余河口坝与分流砂坝纵向上存在一定的叠置关系,这与河口坝被侵蚀程度有关。当分流砂坝出露水面后,串沟以及分流河道的形成和填积控制着坝体的拼接与分离,使得砂坝内部结构较为复杂。分流砂坝两侧不对称水流也会造成“坝尾沉积”,最终使得上下游砂坝复合。
通过现代辫状河三角洲沉积特征分析,对比验证模拟结果的可靠性。选取新西兰中部蒂卡普湖(Lake Tekapo)北部戈德利河三角洲(Godley River Delta)进行沉积特征对比分析。该三角洲为典型湖泊辫状河三角洲(地理坐标:43°46′59″ S,170°32′13″ E),通过Google Earth卫星图像观察其在2018—2023年平面特征变化,验证模拟结果中三角洲的阶段性演化特征。
2018年—2023年三角洲进积建设生长,整体呈现分流砂坝与分流河道交织的平面展布特征,与模拟结果相似。其中在2018年湖泊水位较高,辫状河入湖受湖水顶托快速卸载,形成弧形河口坝沉积,三角洲整体位于水下(图13a),与模拟结果中辫状河三角洲发育初期阶段对应。到2019年,三角洲平原面积扩大,三角洲前缘形态呈现环带状发育,同时能清晰观察到水下分流砂坝的发育形态(图13b),这与模拟实验中辫状河三角洲发育的中期阶段一致。2023年三角洲平原面积较大,三角洲前缘发育面积较小且分散(图13c),这与模拟结果中辫状河三角洲发育的晚期阶段对应。同时能观察到现代沉积中砂质辫状河三角洲平原分流河道的形成、废弃以及分流砂坝的拼接和切割等沉积活动频繁,同模拟结果一致。
戈德利河三角洲河流作用强烈,从三角洲平原能观察到其分流河道对辫状汊道的继承性,以及分流砂坝沉积对辫状河中心滩沉积的继承性。
经典砂质辫状河三角洲主要发育辫状河道沉积以及其水下的延续部分,其次发育部分废弃河道沉积、远沙坝和席状砂,而河口坝常常受到改造破坏,发育规模较小。河道沉积单元包括各类砂坝和冲蚀沟槽充填沉积,为三角洲平原和前缘的沉积主体,因而三角洲整体相序特征表现为向上变细的正韵律,反韵律较少(于兴河,2008朱筱敏,2008)。本文通过对砂质辫状河三角洲沉积演化过程的沉积数值模拟得到的现象和结论与经典砂质辫状河三角洲沉积模式基本一致,不仅从微观和动态的角度对砂体特征开展了更进一步的刻画,也对沉积体的相互关系进行了成因上的解释。相较于传统研究方法,数值模拟受人为因素干扰较小且易于推广到多种地质研究对象,具有一定的地质实用价值。
真实的辫状河三角洲发育过程受自然界复杂因素的综合影响,而本次模拟在简化模型的过程中忽略了湖流或弱波浪的改造作用,实验结果中缺少了一般辫状河三角洲中出现的远沙坝、席状砂等沉积微相。远沙坝、席状砂是由于湖浪湖流对前缘坝体的改造而形成,不同程度的湖浪湖流作用对辫状河三角洲前缘砂体发育特征有不同影响(Hillen et al.,2009)。
无论是在露头分析还是在实际地下储层研究当中,辫状河三角洲沉积模式均存在一般性和特殊性特征,例如河口坝沉积在不同地质背景中表现出截然不同的特征(朱卫红等,2016周淋等,2019袁纯等,2020)。若要充分研究不同特征的辫状河三角洲沉积,必须综合考虑多因素影响,如湖平面的升降等。
(1) 辫状河三角洲生长发育包含三个阶段:①初期阶段,砂质辫状河携带沉积物入湖受湖水顶托作用快速卸载形成初始扇形河口沉积体,入湖水流无明显水道化特征。随着分流河道的形成,近端河口坝逐渐被改造为分流砂坝,此时三角洲整体处于水面之下,生长速度最快,平均直径增长速率大于6 m/step。②中期阶段,三角洲平均直径增长速率从6 m/step过渡到2 m/step。三角洲前缘面积较大,占三角洲整体面积50%以上,活跃的分流河道改造作用强,三角洲前缘发育连片朵状分流砂坝和河口坝。③晚期阶段,三角洲面积增长缓慢,平均直径增长速率维持在1 m/step,三角洲平原为三角洲主体,前缘面积相对较小,小于三角洲整体面积的20%,平原主分流河道相对固定,河口坝发育位置分散。
(2) 辫状河三角洲平原河网系统发育,分流河道侧缘的冲裂作用使得砂坝上部容易形成串沟水道,串沟水道存在被填充或是继续下蚀进而发展成分流河道两种演化路径。平原分流砂坝存在多种改造形式:河道的侧积和垂积使得不同砂坝侧向拼接;串沟的下蚀将完整砂坝分割;砂坝的前积和坝尾沉积使得上下游不同砂坝拼接复合。
(3) 辫状河三角洲前缘水下分流河道冲蚀作用使得河口坝保存程度较低,仅在分流河道前端有完整保存。分流砂坝在残余河口坝基础之上发育,两侧分流河道共同控制着分流砂坝的沉积,三角洲前缘砂体在垂向上表现出反韵律—均质韵律或反韵律—正韵律的组合特征。
