For a high-speed planing craft, remarkable variation of the sailing state may cause abnormal distribution of air-water on the bottom for numerical calculation. In order to match the mesh layout and free-surface, a numerical wave tank based on Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) method was established with dynamic mesh and manual six degrees of freedom (6-DOF) motion model. The high-resolution interface capturing with volume-of-fluid model (HRIC-VOF) scheme was applied to calculate the bottom’s water-air distribution on the ship model. The influences of angle factor, sharpening factor, Courant number’s upper bound, Courant number’s lower bound and time step on the calculation results of water-air distribution and total resistance were explored. The comparison of calculation and experimental results indicates that the current method is feasible for high-speed crafts’resistance forecast and for capture of free-surface. The relative error is less than 4.5% for ship model’s velocity at 2-13 m/s when FV=0.96-5.78.

针对滑行艇高航速下姿态变化显著、数值计算时艇底易于出现气-水异常现象的问题,基于雷诺平均纳维-斯托克斯(RANS)方法及动网格技术,采用人工干预结合六自由度(6-DOF)运动模型解决自由面与网格的匹配问题,采用高分辨率交界面捕捉技术结合流体体积模型(HRIC-VOF)的方法计算气-液相分布,通过探索HRIC-VOF的角度因子、锐化因子、库朗数上界值、库朗数下界值、时间步长等对艇底气-液相分布及总阻力的影响规律,获得可有效计算高速下滑行艇阻力及自由面兴波的数值计算方法。通过与试验结果进行对比,在模型速度Vm=2~13 m/s(FV=0.96~5.78)时的阻力计算误差小于4.5%。

针对滑行艇高航速下姿态变化显著、数值计算时艇底易于出现气-水异常现象的问题,基于雷诺平均纳维-斯托克斯(RANS)方法及动网格技术,采用人工干预结合六自由度(6-DOF)运动模型解决自由面与网格的匹配问题,采用高分辨率交界面捕捉技术结合流体体积模型(HRIC-VOF)的方法计算气-液相分布,通过探索HRIC-VOF的角度因子、锐化因子、库朗数上界值、库朗数下界值、时间步长等对艇底气-液相分布及总阻力的影响规律,获得可有效计算高速下滑行艇阻力及自由面兴波的数值计算方法。通过与试验结果进行对比,在模型速度Vm=2~13 m/s(FV=0.96~5.78)时的阻力计算误差小于4.5%。

For a high-speed planing craft, remarkable variation of the sailing state may cause abnormal distribution of air-water on the bottom for numerical calculation. In order to match the mesh layout and free-surface, a numerical wave tank based on Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) method was established with dynamic mesh and manual six degrees of freedom (6-DOF) motion model. The high-resolution interface capturing with volume-of-fluid model (HRIC-VOF) scheme was applied to calculate the bottom’s water-air distribution on the ship model. The influences of angle factor, sharpening factor, Courant number’s upper bound, Courant number’s lower bound and time step on the calculation results of water-air distribution and total resistance were explored. The comparison of calculation and experimental results indicates that the current method is feasible for high-speed crafts’resistance forecast and for capture of free-surface. The relative error is less than 4.5% for ship model’s velocity at 2-13 m/s when FV=0.96-5.78.

深V型高速滑行艇因其具有良好的快速性及耐波性,在军事、民用领域均具有广阔的应用市场,其水动力性能成为研究的热点。相对于排水型船舶,高速滑行艇在滑行状态下以水动升力为主,并伴随有显著的纵倾、升沉、喷溅及兴波,具有很强的非线性特征。因而,采用排水船舶的水动力计算方法所得结果误差较大,无法满足高速艇的航行性能分析及预报需求。
随着粘性CFD越来越广泛地应用于船舶水动力的计算,部分学者开展了基于雷诺平均纳维-斯托克斯(RANS)方法的高速艇水动力性能预报研究。Lotfi[1]、曹洪建[2]、刘维华[3]、王硕[4]、郭军[5]和赵核毓[6]等人分别利用CFX、Fluent或Star-CCM+软件开展了滑行艇或滑行块的航行阻力计算,所得结果的离散性较大,最大偏差甚至超过10%。Brizolara[7]、Forest[8]、易文彬[9]等人在计算滑行艇静水阻力的过程中发现,高速滑行状态下艇底易于出现异常的气-水分布现象,从而导致计算误差达到10%左右。但上述文献并未给出消除气-水异常现象的方法,未能实现对滑行艇高航速下(FV=4.0~6.0)阻力的精确预报。
为此,本文综合考虑滑行姿态的复杂性以及气-液两相流的强非线性,采用人工干预与六自由度(6-DOF)运动模型相结合的方法,保证采用整体动网格时自由面网格与静水面的正交性;同时根据高分辨率交界面捕捉技术结合流体体积模型(HRIC-VOF)的特性,系列探索角度因子、锐化因子、库朗数限界值、时间步长等对艇底气-液相分布的影响,获得可有效避免气-水异常分布现象的设置原则及参数组合,可为滑行艇在高航速下的阻力预报及粘性兴波流场分析提供支撑。
计算对象为一条棱柱型深V滑行艇模型,表1为该模型的主尺度参数,图1给出了模型的三维效果图。表1中,Δ为排水量,Loa为艇体总长,LP为折角线长,BPX为折角线最大宽度,βM为中部艇底斜升角,βT为尾部艇底斜升角。静止状态下,船模的初始纵倾角为1.184°,重心位于艇体舯后-6%Lp
气-液两相流采用VOF模型,其控制方程如式(1)~(6)所示[10]。质量守恒方程为

式中,ρqαq分别表示第q相的密度、体积分数和速度;为重力加速度,取值为9.81 m/s2分别为相间曳力与表面张力,本文不考虑这两项的影响;称为界面压缩速度,表达式为,其中为流动速度,Cα为锐化因子,用于增强界面的锐度,通过提高界面处相对密度或其他相变量的梯度,来使界面更加清晰,取值范围为0~1。
界面追踪采用高分辨率HRIC格式,该格式的基础是NVD方法(Normalized Variable Diagram),原理如图2所示。图中αDαAαf分别表示施主单元、受主单元和迎风单元的体积分数,αf表示控制体边界的体积分数,其计算表达式为:,式中
HRIC格式考虑了界面与网格夹角、当地库朗数等因素的影响,各相体积分数的具体求解方法[11-12]如下:
(1)采用NVD方法计算归一化体积分数
(2)考虑角度θf的影响,通过权重因子γf对界面伪变形进行修正。
其中,θf定义为施主单元D指向受主单元A的单元向量d与界面法向n之间的夹角(如图3所示),Cθ称为角度因子(angle factor),主要用来描述界面法线方向相对于网格的角度,以减少数值耗散并提高界面的捕捉精度,取值范围为0~1。
(3)考虑当地库朗数的影响:

当地库朗数的定义:
式中,V为来流速度,为网格单元面的法向,δt为时间步长,Δx为沿流动方向的网格尺寸。可知,当地库朗数与时间步长成正比、与网格尺度成反比。
湍流模型采用在船舶水动力计算中被广泛应用和验证的Realizable k-ε模型[13-14],该模型的数学表达式如下。

由于艇体在静水中航行时的流动关于中纵剖面对称,因此仅对流场一半进行网格离散。计算域及其网格划分、边界条件设置如图4所示。流域呈长方体,总长为5.2 Loa,总宽为2 Loa,总高为2.5 L,上表面距离艇体甲板为1.0 Loa,设置为速度入口;下表面距离艇底部为1.3 Loa,设置为速度入口;流域侧面距离艇体舷侧为1.8 Loa,与中纵剖面一同均设置为对称面;入口位于艇体首部前方1.5 Loa处,设置为速度入口,沿水线面将入口分为上下两部分,上部分为空气入口,下部分为水入口,通过场函数进行赋值;出口距离艇尾为3.0 Loa,设置为压力出口。
图4还给出了网格在流域上的整体布局情况。从图中可以看出,本文采用切割型网格,在艇体周围及自由面附近均进行了网格加密,以静水面为中心,分别沿Z轴正方向和负方向进行加密。
艇体表面上的网格布局情况如图5(a)所示,其中,对水线以下的艇体表面进行了网格加密。同时,为了能较为准确地获得航行过程中的首部喷溅,对喷溅流动的可能区域也进行了网格加密,其中,艇体中后部的网格尺寸为4 mm,在艇首喷溅区的网格尺寸为3 mm。为提高艇体表面摩擦力及压力的计算精度,在艇底表面上设置边界层网格,其总厚度为5 mm,设置5层网格,沿法向的增长率为1.25,如图5(b)所示。对自由液面附近的网格进行了加密,加密区的总厚度为0.2 m。垂直自由液面方向的网格尺度为4 mm;沿流动方向的网格尺寸变化,在艇首前方为3 cm,向来流方向逐渐增大。整个计算域的网格总数为120万。数值计算采用二阶迎风格式,文中未特别说明的时间步长均取为0.001 s。
由于滑行艇在高速航行状态下会发生显著的纵倾与升沉,采用区域整体移动的动网格方法容易导致自由液面网格在入口处发生大幅度位移,从而使得网格加密区与自由面位置不匹配,如图6所示。为解决这一问题,可将自由面网格的加密区增大,也可采用重叠网格技术[510],但这两种方法要么使得网格数量大幅增加,要么增加了额外的“挖洞”过程,均使得计算效率降低。
本文采用人工干预结合6-DOF的方法,通过1~2次的人工干预,在流域构建及网格划分时先估取艇体的航行姿态,再应用6-DOF模型进行艇体姿态计算,这样确保了艇体的稳定姿态与初始姿态之间不至于产生过大的偏移,可实现在采用不大的自由面网格加密区情况下也可与自由面的位置相匹配。具体过程如下:
(1)确定需要计算的模型速度,并从小到大排列V1V2V3,…,Vn
(2)采用查洁法(或Savisky方法)等半理论、半经验公式估算对应V1的航行姿态(升沉、纵倾);
(3)以估算值作为初始姿态,将艇体几何进行移位与旋转,并构建流域,进行网格划分和边界条件、流动参数等的设置;
(4)应用6-DOF运动模型(此处仅释放升沉和纵倾两个自由度的运动)、动网格技术及VOF方法开展粘性CFD数值计算;
(5)根据计算结果判断自由液面是否偏移出网格加密区,如果没有偏离,则完成计算;如果发现两者发生了偏离,则以此时计算得到的新的艇体姿态作为输入重复步骤(3)、(4),直至完成该航速的计算;
(6)以计算得到的V1速度下的艇体姿态作为下一个速度V2的初始姿态,重新构建流域和网格,并重复步骤(3)~(5),完成V2的计算;
(7)以此类推,直至完成速度Vn的计算。
本文数值计算全部在Star-CCM+软件平台上实现,艇体的6-DOF运动则借助上述软件的DFBI方法完成。在计算过程中发现,采用上一个速度的姿态作为下一个速度的初始姿态进行计算,一般无需进行第二次人工调整即可获得良好的计算结果。图7给出了人工干预结合6-DOF方法计算所得的纵倾角与试验结果的对比。可见,当模型速度Vm=2~13 m/s(FV=0.96~5.78)时,纵倾角的计算值与试验结果的最大偏差小于0.25°(在曲线峰值处),说明采用该方法计算航行姿态是可行的,且具备较好的精度。
图8给出了计算过程中在艇底表面上的气-液相分布情况。从图中可以看出:当模型速度Vm=4 m/s时,艇底出现少量的气-水混合现象;当模型速度增大为Vm=6 m/s时,艇底出现大范围的气-水混合,液相在艇体表面上的体积分数为0.2~0.8,这是数值扩散导致的气-水分布异常现象,与船模试验的实际情况不符,使得计算所得阻力值与试验值偏差较大(如图9所示)。该现象与文献[7]~[9]给出的情况类似,但是上述文献并未给出解决该问题的方法。
根据式(3)~(5)可知:采用HRIC-VOF模型时,影响流场气-液相分布的主要参数有角度因子、锐化因子、库朗数的上界值与库朗数的下界值。下面将探讨这些参数对艇底表面气-液相分布的影响,以解决艇底的气-水异常现象。
根据HRIC-VOF模型的参数以及特性,分别讨论角度因子、锐化因子、库朗数限界值等参数对艇底气-液相分布的影响。
图10给出了角度因子对艇底气-液相分布的影响。此时模型速度为Vm=8 m/s,库朗数的限界值为CUL=0.5、CUU=1,锐化因子为0,计算时间步长为0.001 s,艇体姿态采用人工干预结合6-DOF的方法。
图10可以看出,随着角度因子的增加,艇底表面上的气-水异常现象先略有减小,然后逐渐增大。表2给出了艇体总阻力随角度因子的变化,该航速下模型总阻力的试验值为157.45 N。从表2可以看出,角度因子的改变对阻力计算结果有所影响,但对计算精度的改善不大。
图11给出了锐化因子(sharpening factor)对艇底气-液相分布的影响,此时模型速度为Vm=8 m/s,库朗数的限界值为CUL=0.5、CUU=1,角度因子取为0.05,计算时间步长取0.001 s。
图11可以看出,锐化因子增加,可较大幅度降低艇底表面上的气-水异常现象,但未能消除;当锐化因子大于0.2时,继续增加锐化因子对艇底气-水异常现象的改善不大。
表3给出了艇体总阻力随锐化因子的变化。可以看出,随着锐化因子增加,艇体总阻力计算偏差降低;当锐化因子大于0.2时,阻力计算偏差可减小至6%左右。
图12给出了模型速度Vm=8 m/s,库朗数上界值CUU=1、5、10、15时艇底表面上的气-液相分布情况。此时,库朗数下界值CUL=0.5,角度因子为0.05,锐化因子为0,时间步长为0.001 s。从图12可以看出,随着库朗数上界值的增加,艇体表面上气-液相分布有所变化,气-水混合的异常现象减弱。当库朗数上界值CUU=10时,艇底表面上的气-水混合异常现象大幅度减少。当CUU=15时,艇底的气-水异常现象消失。
表4给出了库朗数上界值对阻力计算结果的影响,此时模型速度为8.0 m/s,试验测试该航速下的总阻力为157.45 N。从表4可以看出,随着CUU的增加,计算所得总阻力与试验值的偏差从17.12%降低至3.39%。当CUU=5时,阻力结果偏差仅为3.59%,这与艇底表面上的气-水异常现象大幅减少密切相关。
图13给出了模型速度Vm=8 m/s时,库朗数下界值(CUL=0.5、5、10、15)对艇底气-液相分布的影响。此时,库朗数上界值与下界值的差值恒为0.5,角度因子为0.05,锐化因子为0,时间步长为0.001 s。
图13可以看出:库朗数下界值增加,艇底表面上的气-水异常现象大幅降低,当下界值为CUL=15时,艇底表面上气-水异常现象消失。
表5给出了库朗数下界值变化对总阻力计算结果的影响。从表中可以看出:当库朗数下界值增大为5时,阻力计算结果与试验结果的偏差从17.12%减小至3.63%,精度大幅提高。
从以上分析可知,HRIC-VOF模型的角度因子、锐化因子、库朗数限界值对艇底表面上气-液相分布均有影响。其中,角度因子对气-水异常现象的影响不大,锐化因子增大可减弱该现象,对气-液相分布影响最大的是库朗数的限界值。
图14给出了模型速度Vm=8 m/s时艇底表面上的当地库朗数云图。从图中可以看出,此时艇底表面上的当地库朗数范围为0.5~3.5。当库朗数下界值或上界值超过3.5(如取值为5)时,结合公式(3)可知,此时主要采用考虑了角度因子和当地库朗数进行修正的方法来计算各相的体积分数,可较好地抑制高航速下出现的艇底气-水异常现象。
图15给出了不同时间步长对艇底气-液相分布的影响,此时CUL=0.5,CUU=1。表6给出了不同时间步长下艇底表面上库朗数的平均值。从图15表6可以看出,通过减小计算时间步长既可降低当地库朗数的值,使得艇底附近的库朗数小于上界值(如表6所示),亦可改善艇底表面上的气-液相分布,从而提高阻力的计算精度。
综上可见:通过适当改变库朗数的限界值,或改变计算时间步长,使艇底表面上的当地库朗数小于库朗数下界值或处于下界值与上界值之间,可降低或避免艇底表面的气-水异常现象。由于高速滑行艇艇底表面上的网格尺度一般较小(3~4 mm),采用减小时间步长的方法容易导致计算时间过长。因此,可采用时间步长为0.001 s,而适当改变库朗数下界值、上界值的方法来消除气-水异常现象。
图16给出了采用该方法计算模型速度为2~13 m/s时所得阻力值与试验结果的比较;图17为模型速度Vm=10 m/s、12 m/s时艇底表面上的气-液相分布情况;图18为计算所得首部喷溅及自由面兴波与模型试验照片的对比。从图16~18可以看出,采用该方法计算所得阻力、艇底气-液相分布及自由面兴波图像与试验结果吻合良好,说明该方法适用于计算滑行艇在高航速下的粘性兴波及航行阻力。
本文的主要结论如下:
(1)采用人工干预结合6-DOF模型计算艇体姿态时,采用以前一个速度的航行姿态作为下一个速度的初始姿态,可提高计算效率,其纵倾角计算偏差小于0.25°。
(2)HRIC-VOF模型的角度因子、锐化因子、库朗数上界值、库朗数下界值、时间步长等参数对高航速下滑行艇底部的气-水异常现象均有影响,通过改变上述参数值可减弱或避免气-水异常现象的发生。
(3)增大角度因子对艇底气-水异常现象的改善不大;增大锐化因子可减弱气-水异常现象,但不能消除;库朗数限界值对气-水异常现象的影响较大,通过增大库朗数上界值或下界值,使得艇体附近的当地库朗数小于库朗数的上界值,可有效减弱甚至避免气-水异常现象的发生。
(4)通过改变计算时间步长,改变艇体附近的当地库朗数,使其小于库朗数的上界值,同样可大幅减弱气-水异常现象,提高阻力计算精度。
(5)根据上述原则,本文计算了模型速度Vm=2~13 m/s(FV=0.96~6.26)时的阻力,所得结果与试验值的相对偏差小于4.5%,表明采用该方法计算滑行艇在高航速下的阻力时具备较好的精度,可为滑行艇高航速下的静水阻力及艇体姿态的数值预报提供参考。
