Currently, when predicting the ship maneuvering motion in waves based on the mathematical model of ship maneuvering motion, hydrodynamic coefficients are mostly obtained through the model test or numerical prediction in still water, without considering the influence of waves on ship maneuvering hydrodynamics. Therefore, establishing the prediction method of ship maneuvering motion hydrodynamics in waves is essential for accurately predicting ship maneuvering motion. In this paper, the multi-degree-of-freedom motion of ship in waves was numerically modeled based on the overset grid method. The hydrodynamic modeling, free surface treatment and wave simulation methods were presented. The numerical simulation method of ship maneuvering hydrodynamic forces in waves was established. The hydrodynamic model test and numerical prediction of S175-ship in regular waves were carried out, and the influence of waves on ship hydrodynamics was evaluated. The numerical prediction results were compared with the model test results to verify the reliability and practicability of the numerical simulation method. The research in this paper can provide a guidance for the improvement of the ship maneuvering prediction in waves.

目前基于船舶操纵运动数学模型开展波浪中船舶操纵运动预报研究,操纵运动水动力系数多采用静水中试验或数值预报结果,未反映波浪对操纵运动水动力的影响,因此建立波浪中船舶操纵运动水动力预报方法是准确预报波浪中船舶操纵运动的重要基础。本文采用基于重叠网格方法对船舶在波浪中多自由度运动进行数值建模,给出波浪中水动力建模、自由表面处理、波浪模拟等方法,建立波浪中船舶操纵运动水动力数值模拟方法;开展S175标模规则波中斜航运动水动力模型试验和数值预报研究,评估波浪对船舶斜航运动水动力的影响,并将数值预报结果与模型试验结果进行比对分析,验证数值模拟方法的可靠性和实用性。研究成果可为波浪中船舶操纵运动预报精度的提升提供技术支撑。

目前基于船舶操纵运动数学模型开展波浪中船舶操纵运动预报研究,操纵运动水动力系数多采用静水中试验或数值预报结果,未反映波浪对操纵运动水动力的影响,因此建立波浪中船舶操纵运动水动力预报方法是准确预报波浪中船舶操纵运动的重要基础。本文采用基于重叠网格方法对船舶在波浪中多自由度运动进行数值建模,给出波浪中水动力建模、自由表面处理、波浪模拟等方法,建立波浪中船舶操纵运动水动力数值模拟方法;开展S175标模规则波中斜航运动水动力模型试验和数值预报研究,评估波浪对船舶斜航运动水动力的影响,并将数值预报结果与模型试验结果进行比对分析,验证数值模拟方法的可靠性和实用性。研究成果可为波浪中船舶操纵运动预报精度的提升提供技术支撑。

Currently, when predicting the ship maneuvering motion in waves based on the mathematical model of ship maneuvering motion, hydrodynamic coefficients are mostly obtained through the model test or numerical prediction in still water, without considering the influence of waves on ship maneuvering hydrodynamics. Therefore, establishing the prediction method of ship maneuvering motion hydrodynamics in waves is essential for accurately predicting ship maneuvering motion. In this paper, the multi-degree-of-freedom motion of ship in waves was numerically modeled based on the overset grid method. The hydrodynamic modeling, free surface treatment and wave simulation methods were presented. The numerical simulation method of ship maneuvering hydrodynamic forces in waves was established. The hydrodynamic model test and numerical prediction of S175-ship in regular waves were carried out, and the influence of waves on ship hydrodynamics was evaluated. The numerical prediction results were compared with the model test results to verify the reliability and practicability of the numerical simulation method. The research in this paper can provide a guidance for the improvement of the ship maneuvering prediction in waves.

船舶操纵性是船舶重要的航行性能之一,操纵性能的优劣直接决定了船舶的航行安全和能耗,其重要性不言而喻。现阶段评估船舶操纵性能多数基于静水环境,但是船舶在实际海洋环境中进行操纵运动时受到波浪的影响会产生明显的摇荡耦合运动,影响船舶的操纵运动性能。因此,预报与评估船舶在波浪中的操纵运动性能,对于船舶航行安全、有效控制及船舶作战能力提升等具有重要意义,一直以来都是研究热点。
基于4自由度或6自由度操纵运动数学模型,开展波浪中操纵运动预报是现阶段研究的主要手段之一。采用该方法研究船舶在波浪中的操纵运动研究主要有两个思路:即采用双时间尺度操纵运动数学模型和采用统一数学模型。所谓双时间尺度操纵运动数学模型,是将船舶在波浪中的运动分为低频操纵运动和波频的波浪诱导运动,并通过两组不同的运动方程分别予以描述。其中,波频运动由一阶波浪力决定,而二阶平均波浪力作为外力被计入到船舶操纵运动方程中,以反映波浪对操纵运动的影响。在双时间尺度方法的框架下,Skejic等[1]进行了波浪中的船舶操纵性计算,并且比较了采用不同切片理论所得到的二阶波浪漂移力计算结果。Yasukawa等[2]进行了船舶在规则波中回转时的六自由度运动计算,在研究中采用切片法计算高频波浪力,而采用远场积分公式计算二阶波浪漂移力。至于统一数学模型通常是以船舶在静水中的六自由度运动方程为基础,将由波浪引起的F-K力、辐射力、绕射力等作为外力计入到方程中,形成一组统一的六自由度刚体运动方程来描述船舶在波浪中的运动。这方面如McCreight[3]、Bailey等[4-5]、Letki等[6]、Matusiak等[7]、Sutulo等[8-10]将静水中的非线性数学模型与波浪中的线性船舶运动理论结合起来,提出一个六自由度时域数学模型来预报波浪中的操纵运动和波浪中的波频运动。Son等[11]考虑操纵运动和横摇运动耦合方法,模拟了随浪中船舶操纵性能。
上述基于波浪中船舶操纵运动数学模型开展波浪中船舶操纵运动预报时,数学模型中的操纵性水动力系数一般是基于静水中的试验或数值预报结果,都没有反映波浪对作用于船体上的水动力的影响。船舶在波浪中进行操纵运动时,波浪引起的摇荡运动会影响船体周围压力变化,对作用于船体上的水动力产生影响。所以,建立波浪中船舶操纵性水动力预报方法是准确预报波浪中操纵运动的重要基础。目前国内外开展船舶波浪中操纵性水动力研究的较少,有限的研究主要是日本和韩国部分研究人员在水池开展的波浪中操纵性水动力探索研究。Xu[12]等开展了波浪中PMM运动模型试验研究,采用傅里叶分析方法分析不同频率成分的水动力,获得了不同波浪条件下的附加质量和阻尼等水动力结果。Sung[13]等开展了波浪中PMM试验和数值预报研究,获得了规则波中随浪状态下船体水动力,数值预报结果与模型试验结果吻合较好。Yasukawa等[14]开展了波浪中操纵性水动力试验,研究了不同漂角下作用于船体的水动力和船舶运动特性,分析了漂角对船体水动力和运动的影响。
本文以S175标模为对象,开展规则波中船舶斜航运动水动力模型试验与数值预报研究,研究在不同波长、不同漂角下作用于船体上的纵向力、横向力和转艏力矩,并将数值预报结果与模型试验结果进行比对分析,对规则波中船体水动力进行频谱分析,评估波浪对于操纵性水动力的影响。
本文采用商用软件Star CCM+进行船体水动力和舵力计算。研究波浪与静水中船-桨-舵干扰时,需要分别对光体船舶、船-舵系统、以及船-桨-舵系统进行数值建模,建模时需要单独考虑螺旋桨旋转和舵转动的网格划分以及运动模拟;进行波浪中船舶运动模拟与水动力预报时,主要解决流场求解、自由面处理、波浪环境模拟、船舶多自由度运动的数学建模问题。其中自由面流动作为两相流(水和空气)来处理,自由面使用VOF(volume of fluid)方法处理。对于流场/波浪场的模拟,采用RANS方程进行求解;采用Realizable k-ε Two-Layer湍流模型来封闭方程,采用6自由度运动方程和重叠网格进行船体、螺旋桨和舵的多自由度运动模拟。
为了求解RANS方程,每一个求解变量(包括速度、压力等参量)在瞬时的N-S方程中都被分解成平均值和脉动值。平均物理量的质量和动量输运方程可以表示为

由于动量方程中的雷诺应力张量项使得控制方程不再封闭,需要引入湍流模型进行求解。
本文采用Realizable k-ε Two-Layer模型进行数值计算。该模型最早由Rodi提出,结合了k-ε模型和壁面处理的两层方法。该模型求解湍流动能k和湍流耗散率ε的输运方程表示如下:

自由面流动作为两相流(水和空气)来处理,自由面使用VOF(volume of fluid)方法处理。针对不同方向的入射波与船体产生的复杂的流场干扰,采用结构化网格或笛卡尔网格等高质量网格划分技术,结合强非线性自由面处理方法(VOF法),实现流动干扰精确模拟。其体积分数(VOF)方程如下:

进行波浪中船舶操纵运动水动力计算时,在保证造波质量的同时防止边界的波浪反射是影响计算的关键问题。在顶浪、艏斜浪和横浪下,通常采用人工阻尼的方式来进行尾流的消波,即在出口边界附近一定区域内设置阻尼区(Damping Zone,如图1所示),在该区域的动量方程增加垂向速度w的阻尼项,表达式如下:
式中,xsdxed分别为阻尼区的起始与结束位置,f1f2为消波系数。
(1)计算区域及网格划分
数值计算中计算域采用全船计算域,计算区域大小基于相关研究成果确定,其边界位置包括以下几个部分:①前端——模型首部前约2倍船长处;②径向和底部——模型径向和底部约2倍船长处;③后端——模型尾部后约4倍船长处;④船体以上——船体以上部分约1倍船长。其中,强制区域为距边界0.5倍船长。
采用剪裁体网格(Trimmed Mesh),在船艏、船艉及船体适当加密;在整个区域的进水面,根据波高范围内15~20个网格、波长范围内80~100个网格进行加密;船体附近采用棱柱体边界层网格,保证y+约为60。
采用重叠网格实现船体的多自由度运动。由于船舶在波浪中运动幅度较大,为保证在进水面处准确模拟波浪场,将外部计算区域固定不动。船体附近重叠网格区域做垂荡、纵摇与横摇运动。船体航速采用相对速度,在波动边界实现。
(2)边界条件
数值计算中,边界条件的具体设置如下:①波浪入射区域、两侧和上下均为入口边界,采用速度入口边界条件,给定波动速度、流动速度以及水的体积分数;②船后为压力出口,给定水的体积分数;③在船体表面,引入标准壁面函数;④自由表面采用VOF方法;⑤以均匀流场作为数值计算的初始条件。
数值计算中,控制方程使用有限体积法(Finite Volume Method, FVM)离散,离散得到的差分方程组具有高度耦合性和非线性,使用SIMPLE(Semi-Implicit Method for Pressure Linked Equations)方法求解。
本文以S175标模为研究对象,选取的缩尺比为1:42.8,模型主要参数如表1所示,试验模型如图2所示。在水池开展S175模型在波浪中斜航运动模型试验,试验选取的工况为:船舶在不同漂角下(0°、5°、10°),试验傅汝德数Fr=0.15,对应的模型航速为0.95 m/s,波浪为规则波,选取不同波长船长比(λ/Lpp=0.7、1.0),波高为3.5 m,对应的模型波高为81.776 mm,拖车拖曳速度方向与波浪同向(0°)时定义为随浪,相反(180°)时定义为顶浪,本次试验浪向为顶浪。规则波中船舶斜航运动水动力研究工况如表2所示。
(1)试验数据处理方法
模型试验测量的参数包括纵向力、横向力、转艏力矩、垂荡、纵摇。在数据分析中,对于纵向力、横向力和转艏力矩,选取信号较为平稳的一段,读取几个周期内相对稳定阶段的平均值;对于波浪、纵摇和垂荡,进行时域统计分析,可得到平均双幅值。对于纵向力,根据波浪和静水中的纵向力给出波浪增阻,采用下列公式进行无因次化处理,由此得到波浪增阻传递函数,同样得到横向力和转艏力矩的传递函数。
式中,Fxw为波浪增阻,Fxwave为波浪中船体阻力,Fxcalm为静水中船体阻力,Fyw为船舶横向力,FMw为船舶的转摇力矩,ρ为淡水密度,g为重力加速度,ζ为规则波波幅,Lpp为模型垂线间长,B为模型型宽。
(2)试验结果
直航状态下,不同波长下的纵向力、纵倾角和垂荡试验结果如图4图7图8所示。由试验结果可知,在给定的波长范围内,波长船长比为1时,波浪产生的阻力增加最大;波长越长,纵倾角越大;当波长船长比大于1时,垂荡在一定范围内波动。
船模以不同漂角作斜航运动时,作用于船体上的纵向力、横向力和转艏力矩试验结果如图3图5图6所示。由试验结果可知,波长船长比为1时的波浪增阻显著大于波长船长比为0.7时的结果;随着漂角的增大,作用于船体上横向力和转艏力矩显著增大,波长越大,作用于船体上的水动力也越大。
为了验证本文建立的波浪中船舶操纵性水动力数值预报方法,选取的计算工况一部分与模型试验工况一致,见表2。为了考虑波浪对于操纵性水动力的影响,数值预报在模型试验工况的基础上,增加了0°浪向,即船舶的拖曳速度方向与波浪的传播方向相同,而斜航运动的漂角分别为0°、5°和10°,傅汝德数Fr=0.15,波高为81.776 mm,波长船长比(λ/Lpp)为0.7和1.0。
顶浪状态下,船模以不同漂角作斜航运动时,水动力呈现周期性波动,取几个周期下的平均值作为波浪中的定常水动力。图9图10分别给出了波长船长比为1.0,漂角10°状态下,作用于船体上的横向力和转艏力矩时间历程曲线。不同漂角下和不同波浪条件下的水动力预报与模型试验的比对结果如图11~16所示。图17给出了船舶在规则波中斜航和直航运动时的兴波云图。由比对结果可以看出:
(1)对于纵向力、横向力和转艏力矩总体来说,数值预报结果与模型试验结果吻合较好;
(2)船舶在波浪中作操纵运动时的运动响应数值预报结果与模型试验结果总体上吻合较好;
(3)船舶带有漂角航行遭遇浪向为顶浪时,相比于纵向力,波浪对于横向力及转艏力矩的影响较大;漂角越大,波浪对于船体水动力的影响越显著;
(4)遭遇浪向为顶浪时,与λ/Lpp=0.7的预报结果相比,λ/Lpp=1时,波浪作用下的升沉、纵摇运动更大,波浪对于船体水动力的影响也变大。
随浪状态下,船模以不同漂角作斜航运动时,作用于船体上的纵向力、横向力和转艏力矩的预报结果如图18~23所示。为进一步分析波浪对船体水动力的影响,对水动力进行了频谱分析,频谱分析结果如图24~27所示。由比对结果可以看出:
(1)船舶在随浪中作斜航运动时,船体与波浪的遭遇频率较小,作用于船体上的水动力与静水中水动力预报结果相近。
(2)通过频谱分析结果可以看出,除了零频率外,在遭遇频率附近也有较大成分,特别是纵向力,遭遇频率附近的成分占比更大;
(3)对横向力的频谱分析表明,在顶浪状态下,零频率和遭遇频率的成分占比相当,而随浪状态下零频率的成分占比最大。
本文以S175标模为对象,开展了不同波浪条件、不同漂角下的船体水动力试验与数值预报研究,主要结论如下:
(1)本文采用基于重叠网格的方法对波浪中船舶多自由度运动进行了数值建模,给出了波浪中水动力数值建模、自由表面的网格处理、造波与滤波等方法,建立了波浪中船舶操纵性水动力数值模拟方法。
(2)本文开展了S175标模规则波中斜航运动船体水动力模型试验,研究了不同波浪条件、不同漂角下作用于船体上的水动力特性。
(3)本文建立了波浪中船舶操纵性水动力数值预报方法,并与模型试验结果进行了比对分析,吻合较好。研究结果表明,遭遇浪向为顶浪时,波浪对于船体水动力的影响较大,漂角越大,波浪对于船体水动力的影响越显著;随浪中船体与波浪的遭遇频率较小,作用于船体上的水动力与静水中水动力预报结果相近;通过频谱分析结果可以看出,除了零频率外,在遭遇频率附近也有较大成分,特别是纵向力,遭遇频率附近的成分占比更大。
本文建立的波浪中船舶操纵性水动力数值预报方法,可为波浪中船舶操纵运动预报,以及波浪中船-桨-舵干扰机理等方面的研究提供重要技术支撑。
