The hub effects are usually ignored in the propeller lifting-surface design based on potential flow theory, the circulation of root is constrained to zero, and the hub is neglected when dealing with boundary value problems. Herein, the theoretical design method of propeller considering hub effects was established by coupling image method of two-dimensional flow problem with lifting-surface design method. Two propellers were designed for a ship by the methods with and without consideration of hub effects respectively, the geometrical shapes, hydrodynamic coefficients and pressure distributions of two propellers were compared. It is shown that hub effects in lifting-surface design has no obviously influences on hydrodynamic coefficients, but the pressure distributions of the propeller designed by the method considering hub effects is in better agreement with design goals. At the same time, considering hub effects could help to reduce loading of leading edge in external radius, that would be beneticial to postponing cavitation inception.

在基于势流理论的螺旋桨升力面理论设计中,一般忽略桨毂的作用,限制叶根环量为零,在处理边值问题时仅考虑桨叶而忽略桨毂。本文将二维流动问题中的镜像法与升力面方法相结合,建立考虑桨毂作用的升力面理论设计方法,并使用该方法与忽略桨毂作用的设计方法分别对某船进行螺旋桨实例设计,比较两设计方案的几何形状、水动力系数以及压力分布。预报结果表明,在升力面设计中考虑桨毂作用对螺旋桨的水动力系数无明显影响,但其压力分布与设计目标更为吻合,同时有助于降低外半径导边处载荷,有利于推迟空泡初生。

在基于势流理论的螺旋桨升力面理论设计中,一般忽略桨毂的作用,限制叶根环量为零,在处理边值问题时仅考虑桨叶而忽略桨毂。本文将二维流动问题中的镜像法与升力面方法相结合,建立考虑桨毂作用的升力面理论设计方法,并使用该方法与忽略桨毂作用的设计方法分别对某船进行螺旋桨实例设计,比较两设计方案的几何形状、水动力系数以及压力分布。预报结果表明,在升力面设计中考虑桨毂作用对螺旋桨的水动力系数无明显影响,但其压力分布与设计目标更为吻合,同时有助于降低外半径导边处载荷,有利于推迟空泡初生。

The hub effects are usually ignored in the propeller lifting-surface design based on potential flow theory, the circulation of root is constrained to zero, and the hub is neglected when dealing with boundary value problems. Herein, the theoretical design method of propeller considering hub effects was established by coupling image method of two-dimensional flow problem with lifting-surface design method. Two propellers were designed for a ship by the methods with and without consideration of hub effects respectively, the geometrical shapes, hydrodynamic coefficients and pressure distributions of two propellers were compared. It is shown that hub effects in lifting-surface design has no obviously influences on hydrodynamic coefficients, but the pressure distributions of the propeller designed by the method considering hub effects is in better agreement with design goals. At the same time, considering hub effects could help to reduce loading of leading edge in external radius, that would be beneticial to postponing cavitation inception.

在螺旋桨理论设计中,通常不考虑桨毂存在带来的影响,唯一与桨毂相关的参数——毂径比rh仅用来表示叶片根部的几何形状。在这种简化处理下,螺旋桨叶根被视为与叶梢一样的自由边,这样的力学模型是不充分且不合理的。对于桨毂直径相对较大的螺旋桨,特别是可调距桨,忽略桨毂作用可带来较大的设计误差。Greeley[1]和Kerwin[1-2]将二维点涡镜像涡的方法引入螺旋桨升力线设计,在桨毂内半径布置外部涡系的镜像涡,从而满足桨毂边界条件;而后Kerwin[3]将镜像法与涡格法结合,采用叶片区涡系和尾涡的镜像表示桨毂影响,建立了常规桨的升力面预报方法,并对镜像涡的展向数量选取进行了研究;Du和Kinnas[4]在处理导管螺旋桨粘势耦合的优化设计问题中使用镜像涡表示桨毂与导管的影响;Kerwin[5]在处理喷水推进器导管边界问题时,同样采用了镜像法;孙文愈和黄国富[6]采用离散化桨毂镜像涡模型,结合变分方法求解螺旋桨最佳环量,分析了桨毂对升力线最佳环量设计的影响。
本文将桨毂镜像涡引入升力面设计方法,建立考虑桨毂作用的螺旋桨升力面设计程序,比较考虑桨毂与否的诱导速度及设计螺旋桨的型值,分析桨毂的存在对螺旋桨几何形状的影响,并通过面元法与RANS方法分析桨毂作用对设计桨的水动力性能及表面压力分布的影响。
螺旋桨升力面设计是给定螺旋桨运转条件、推力要求及部分几何形状来求解各半径处的螺距和拱弧线分布的设计方法。由于拱度是未知量,通常将升力面设置在螺旋桨的参考面上作为近似[7],其边界条件可表示为

某一半径的拱度分布可通过沿弦长积分求得,
式中,W0表示进流相对速度,uγ表示分布在参考面和尾涡面上的涡线产生的诱导速度,uq表示分布在参考面上的源线产生的诱导速度,n为参考面的单位法向量,WT为相对速度的合速度在参考螺旋线切线方向的分量,ZR为桨叶纵倾,θs为桨叶侧斜角,P为桨叶螺距,ϕ为螺距角。由导边积分至随边可得新的拱弧线,随边的fcrs)除以弦长可得螺距角修正量,进而实现螺距和拱度的迭代计算。边界条件(1)是建立在螺旋桨叶片参考面上的不可穿透边界条件,但忽略了是否满足桨毂运动学边界条件。事实上,在升力面设计方法中,由于叶片区马蹄涡的诱导,桨毂半径处的法向速度为非零值。由于真实螺旋桨存在桨毂对叶片的影响,采用忽略桨毂作用的升力面方法设计的螺旋桨在内半径处的压力分布与设计目标存在较大差异;而外半径受桨毂影响弱,其压力分布与设计值较为吻合。因此为了提升设计精度,需要同时满足桨叶和桨毂的运动学条件,本文采用Kerwin[2]处理二维桨毂边界条件的方法,如图1(a)所示,对于桨毂(半径为rh)以外半径r上的点涡Γ,通过在桨毂以内半径ri布置一强度相同、方向相反的涡使桨毂上任意一点满足壁面边界条件。
图1(b)所示,假设桨毂表面的场点位于C,点涡位于A,根据上述方法在点B布置大小相同、方向相反的点涡,根据三角形几何相似定理,又依据点涡对场点的诱导速度与其距离成反比关系,故
vA在点C外法向方向的投影为vA cos(90°-(α+θ)),vB在点C外法向方向的投影为-vBsin(α),易得其比值λ
因此桨毂外一点涡与其镜像涡对桨毂表面任意一点的诱导速度的法向分量为零,桨毂边界条件得以满足。
上述镜像法是基于二维点涡,为验证将镜像法由二维点涡扩展到三维涡段的有效性,针对某升力面1号叶片0.22R半径的单位涡系,以1号叶片母线与桨毂表面交点为基准,在桨毂表面设置A(0°)、B(−45°)、C(−90°)三个场点,笛卡尔坐标分别为(0,0.96,0)、(0,0.679,−0.679)、(0,0,−0.96),并在其桨毂内布置单位镜像涡。镜像涡段端点的轴向、周向坐标与叶片区涡段保持一致,由式(5)计算其径向坐标。0.22R各涡段端点坐标如表1所示。如图2所示,桨毂外涡与其镜像涡对桨毂表面场点的法向扰动速度十分接近,布置反方向的镜像涡基本可抵消桨毂表面的法向扰动速度,从而近似满足桨毂运动学边界条件。
本文将升力面方法中的全部涡段做上述镜像处理,在桨毂以内半径布置叶片区和尾流面上涡段的镜像,使桨叶和桨毂边界条件同时满足。
离散求解时,桨毂内镜像的马蹄涡强度由-Γmn表示,其展向编号为m,弦向编号为n。单位强度镜像涡对控制点ij的诱导速度为
其中,表示编号为mn的镜像的单位展向涡段诱导速度,表示编号为mn的镜像的单位弦向涡段诱导速度,表示编号为mn的镜像的单位尾涡段诱导速度。
将控制点ij的镜像涡诱导速度和控制点相对进流速度、叶片区与尾流区涡系诱导速度及源线的诱导速度相加后与控制点的单位法向量做数量积,进而积分求解该控制点的拱度与该半径处的螺距角。
使用原型桨自航试验数据对某船模的名义伴流场进行修正,获得其近似实效伴流场,使用文献[6]提出的方法分别开展忽略与计入桨毂作用的升力线最佳环量设计。其实效伴流分布如图3所示,两种方法设计的环量径向分布如图4所示。在考虑桨毂的情况下,螺旋桨叶根不再作为自由边,其环量为非零值,而外半径处的环量与忽略桨毂的设计无明显差异。
将两环量分布及其对应的螺距角、水动力螺距角分别作为忽略和计入桨毂作用的螺旋桨升力面设计方法的输入参数,对其进行升力面理论设计,设计点的进速系数为J=0.9134,推力系数为KT=0.2142。在计入桨毂作用的升力面设计方法中,计算有无镜像涡时在0.26R上的控制点法向速度如图5(a)所示,0.7R上的控制点法向速度如图5(b)所示。控制点速度计算结果表明,镜像涡对外半径的控制点的影响可忽略不计,而对内半径处的速度场有较为明显的影响。计入镜像涡的诱导速度后,内半径控制点上合速度法向分量的梯度有所减小。
两种方法设计的螺旋桨的螺距角径向分布如图6所示,最大拱度比的径向分布如图7所示。设计结果表明,计入桨毂作用设计的螺旋桨在内半径处的螺距角和最大拱度比均显著大于忽略桨毂作用的设计结果,这是由于二者内半径处的环量差异造成的。在0.6R以外半径处,两种方法设计的螺旋桨几何参数差异较小。
设置与升力面设计相同的伴流场作为来流,使用RANS方法对考虑桨毂影响与否设计的螺旋桨进行水动力预报,两螺旋桨的水动力系数如表2所示。
水动力预报结果表明,虽然两种设计方法的输入环量及设计几何存在较大差异,但设计螺旋桨的水动力系数相近,即对螺旋桨的整体推进性能无明显影响。
使用面元法对两螺旋桨各半径的压力进行预报,0.3R的压力分布如图8所示,在导边附近的吸力面上,计入桨毂作用设计的螺旋桨负压较大;而在导边附近的压力面上,计入桨毂作用的方案负压较小。消除叶片厚度对压力系数的影响得到拱度对压力的贡献并做标准化处理,获得其压力分布形式也即环量的弦向分布形式[8]图9所示,计入桨毂作用设计的螺旋桨在0.3R处的环量值较大,同时环量的弦向分布更均匀,更符合升力面设计过程中设置的NACAa=0.8的设计目标。
对0.5R、0.7R处的压力系数分布做同样处理,得到其弦向环量分布形式,如图10所示,计入桨毂作用的设计方案在各半径处的环量分布更均匀且符合设计值。且随着半径的增大,两设计方案的剖面环量分布差异逐渐减小,即桨毂对桨叶表面压力的影响随半径的增大而减小。图11为两设计螺旋桨的环量径向分布的设计值与计算值,可以看出,无论升力面设计是否考虑桨毂,面元法预报的叶根环量均不为零,这是由于面元法边界条件在真实物面满足,固有地计入了桨毂影响;在内半径,考虑桨毂作用的径向环量分布与设计值更为吻合。
使用RANS方法获得更精细的桨叶表面压力分布。为减少非均匀流向下游流动过程中的耗散,同时减少螺旋桨抽吸作用的影响,在螺旋桨参考线前2.0D设置速度入口,1.0R以内半径设置与图3相同的伴流场,2.5倍半径以外区域伴流取航速,1.0~2.5倍半径区域作差值处理。两螺旋桨1号叶片吸力面的压力分布如图12所示,可见计入桨毂作用设计的螺旋桨叶表面最小压力系数比忽略毂作用设计的螺旋桨低8%,且计入桨毂作用设计的螺旋桨压力分布沿弦向更均匀。
由RANS方法预报的0.3R剖面的压力系数如图13所示,与面元法预报结果一致,计入桨毂影响设计的螺旋桨在内半径叶背近导边处的负压更大,且其叶面近导边处的负压更小,因此计入桨毂影响的螺旋桨内半径处的负荷较大,即内半径承载了更多的推力。计入桨毂作用的螺旋桨0.7R以外各半径处的导边吸力峰均有所减小,如图14所示,这是由于叶根承载了更多推力从而减小了外半径处的负荷,进而减小了外半径导边吸力峰,有利于推迟空泡初生。
本文将涡镜像法与螺旋桨升力面设计方法结合,使升力面设计不仅满足螺旋桨叶片的运动学条件,同时也满足桨毂的运动学条件。预报结果表明考虑桨毂作用与否对设计螺旋桨的水动力系数无明显影响,但计入桨毂作用的设计方案满足更完整的运动学边界条件,流体的运动状态与真实螺旋桨更为接近,故其压力分布与设计目标更为吻合。考虑桨毂作用在设计过程中叶根环量为非零值,设计桨内半径处的载荷更大,而外半径导边处的吸力峰更小。因此,在升力面设计过程中考虑桨毂存在的影响不仅可以提高设计精度,也可以降低外半径导边吸力峰,对推迟空泡初生有一定意义。
