In this paper, numerical simulation and comparative verification tests of two ship models in heading regular waves, which was recommended by ITTC, were conducted. Based on the Reynolds time averaged method for solving the N-S equation, a calculation method of wave interference and 6DOF motions for two ships under horizontal mooring constraints was established. With the model and mooring parameters in the test taken as inputs, the numerical simulation of wave interference between the two ships under typical wave conditions was carried out. The time curves of 6DOF motions, wave surface rise between the two ships and mooring tension were obtained and compared with the results of model tests. The comparison shows that the motions of surge, heave, roll and pitch as well as the wave surface rise of the comparative conditions (wave period: 1.5 s) are in good agreement with the test results. There are relatively large errors in motions of sway and yaw compared with the test results, because these motions result from the coupling of wave system interference between two ships and mooring constraints, and the superposition of multi-factor simulation errors reduces calculation accuracy.

本文以ITTC推荐的两船标准模型为研究对象,开展顶浪规则波中两船标模波浪干扰的数值模拟及对比试验。基于求解N-S方程的雷诺时均方法,建立水平系泊约束下两船波浪干扰及六自由度运动计算方法。以试验模型和系泊参数为输入,进行典型波浪工况下两船波浪干扰数值模拟,获得标模六自由度运动、两船间波面升高及系泊拉力等参数的时历数据,并与水池试验结果展开对比。结果表明,对比工况下(波浪周期为1.5 s)模型的纵荡、垂荡、横摇、纵摇运动和两船间波面升高的计算与试验结果均吻合良好。相对而言,横荡和艏摇运动的计算与试验结果存在较为明显的误差,这是由于这些运动是两船间波系干扰与系泊约束耦合作用的结果,多因素模拟误差叠加导致了计算精度的降低。

本文以ITTC推荐的两船标准模型为研究对象,开展顶浪规则波中两船标模波浪干扰的数值模拟及对比试验。基于求解N-S方程的雷诺时均方法,建立水平系泊约束下两船波浪干扰及六自由度运动计算方法。以试验模型和系泊参数为输入,进行典型波浪工况下两船波浪干扰数值模拟,获得标模六自由度运动、两船间波面升高及系泊拉力等参数的时历数据,并与水池试验结果展开对比。结果表明,对比工况下(波浪周期为1.5 s)模型的纵荡、垂荡、横摇、纵摇运动和两船间波面升高的计算与试验结果均吻合良好。相对而言,横荡和艏摇运动的计算与试验结果存在较为明显的误差,这是由于这些运动是两船间波系干扰与系泊约束耦合作用的结果,多因素模拟误差叠加导致了计算精度的降低。

波浪干扰  /  六自由度运动  /  系泊约束

In this paper, numerical simulation and comparative verification tests of two ship models in heading regular waves, which was recommended by ITTC, were conducted. Based on the Reynolds time averaged method for solving the N-S equation, a calculation method of wave interference and 6DOF motions for two ships under horizontal mooring constraints was established. With the model and mooring parameters in the test taken as inputs, the numerical simulation of wave interference between the two ships under typical wave conditions was carried out. The time curves of 6DOF motions, wave surface rise between the two ships and mooring tension were obtained and compared with the results of model tests. The comparison shows that the motions of surge, heave, roll and pitch as well as the wave surface rise of the comparative conditions (wave period: 1.5 s) are in good agreement with the test results. There are relatively large errors in motions of sway and yaw compared with the test results, because these motions result from the coupling of wave system interference between two ships and mooring constraints, and the superposition of multi-factor simulation errors reduces calculation accuracy.

波浪中两船并靠时会出现较为显著的水动力干扰现象,每个船体对波浪作用同时也会对其他船体造成影响,某些局部波浪会发生放大或遮掩,船体周围流体的运动变得十分复杂。尤其当船体间隙较小时,两船间隙内自由液面会发生较大的波面升高,从而导致船体的大幅运动,其非线性和粘性的作用非常明显。随着深海资源的开发利用,海洋工程装备不断更新完善,大量的串靠及并靠作业不断涌现,包括海上大型油气的外输、各种浮吊平台的安装等,目前针对此类工程作业开展了较为广泛的研究。
早期Ohkusu[1]、Van Oortmerssen[2]、Kodan[3]、Kagemoto等[4]分别采用二维、三维势流方法,对不同形式的两浮体结构在波浪中水动力响应问题及干扰水动力系数开展了试验及计算研究。但由于没有计及粘性影响,往往会过度预报两船间的波面升高以及低频慢漂力,这对工程上的多船系泊系统、碰垫系统设计等带来诸多问题。有鉴于此,Fournier等[5]基于理想流体假设,创新性地采用加盖阻尼方法(damping lid method),在浮体之间的自由表面上添加阻尼单元,并通过调节阻尼参数值大小来控制波面升高值,有效地抑制了水动力数值结果中失真的共振峰值,实现了与试验结果的吻合。Pauw等[6]采用Fournier提出的加盖阻尼法研究并排系泊的两船水动力影响,通过试验发现很难找到一个统一的加盖阻尼值,且阻尼协调方法应该用于二阶波浪漂移力而不是一阶的波浪升高和运动,在计算结果中还发现了波浪升高与船舶运动中的频移现象。Bunnik等[7]采用一种新的加盖方法研究并排系泊的LNG运输船,在船舶内部的自由液面和水面处均添加阻尼,这种方法降低了网格依存度并提供了更好的结果。综上可知,采用势流方法要获得更为真实的结果,必须在两船间引入人工阻尼。但是,如果没有试验数据作为验证,很难确定较为合适的人工阻尼系数。因此采用试验或者粘性CFD方法来研究两船间阻尼系数显得尤为重要。
Li等[8]通过OpenFOAM求解器对临近双浮体的横摇运动与流体共振的耦合作用进行数值模拟,结果发现横摇运动对于双浮体间流体共振的频率有一定的影响,并且统计了双浮体横摇运动的转角响应幅值和平衡位置。Lu等[9]采用二维粘性流方程对旁靠排列三个固定矩形体系统的水动力共振进行研究,主要计算小间隙中流体的运动与浮体受力,并与试验结果、修正后的势流计算结果进行了对比,并且在对波浪力的研究中进行了间距大小、物体吃水、宽度与数量的敏感性分析。Zhou等[10]基于CFD数值模拟方法探讨了静水中两船并行时的漂角、船船相对位置对船体阻力、侧向力及摇首力矩的影响规律。
为研究水动力干扰对两船六自由度运动的作用规律,本文以ITTC两船标模[11]为研究对象,开展顶浪规则波中两船水动力干扰模型试验,建立系泊约束下两船波浪干扰数值模拟方法,完成与试验结果的对比,可为后续研究两船间多波系互相干扰力学问题奠定基础。
研究对象为ITTC推荐的两船标模,在中国船舶科学研究中心耐波性水池开展顶浪规则波中两船干扰模型试验。模型缩尺比取1:40,两条船的船型参数完全相同,本文数值计算采用单船模加对称边界的方法以提高数值计算的效率,模型相关主尺度如表1所示。
规则波中两船干扰模型试验的浪向为顶浪180°,试验时波浪的波陡取1/30,试验航速为定点零航速。两船间距为一倍船宽。采用相同的系泊系统分别对两条船模进行水平系泊约束,每条船的系泊系统由四根系泊缆组成,且满足首尾对称和左右对称,两根相邻系泊缆在平衡状态的夹角均为90°。在两船模型中间纵向均匀布置5个超声波浪高仪测点,用于测量两船并靠对波浪传播的干扰。两船系泊干扰模型试验布置见图1。系泊缆由钢丝绳和特制拉簧配制而成,为避免系泊系统对两船波频运动的影响,根据式(1)调试系泊缆刚度。调试后弹簧刚度为6.87 N/m。每根系泊缆均连接一个拉力传感器,用于测量试验过程中各系泊缆的拉力。
式中,K为每根拉簧的刚度,K为系泊系统刚度(K=4K),M为模型质量,M为模型的附加质量,ωmin为模型试验中最小的波浪频率。
为求解非定常不可压粘性流体,本文选择的控制方程为两相不可压RANS方程:
式中,ρ为流体密度;ui为流体单元速度;p表示压力;μ表示流体动力粘性系数;fi为源项;ij=1、2、3,表示各矢量在直角坐标系下xi方向上的分量。
基于有限体积法使用控制体求解积分形式的质量和动量守恒方程以及湍流模型方程,使用k-ω SST湍流模型在时间域上完成对流场物理量的雷诺平均化处理,通过求解时均控制方程封闭RANS方程组。基于SIMPLE算法完成压力速度方程的分离迭代求解,采用VOF法(volume of fluid)求解自由面流动,并结合高分辨率交界捕捉项(HRIC)减少不相容流体间的对流输运,从而更好地捕捉尖锐的交界面。
使用入口边界法实现三维计算域波浪条件的数值模拟,根据深水中的线性假定,规则波的波面高度函数及速度场为
式中,a为规则波波幅,ω为波浪的自然频率,k为波数,x轴为波浪传播方向,y轴为波浪水池展向,z为波浪波动方向。
数值消波采用网格技术结合人工阻尼的方法,消波区人工阻尼[12]的表达式为
式中,f1f2为阻尼控制参数取值,xsdxed分别代表消波区的起始点和终点,w为消波区垂向速度场。将式(5)添加到消波区的运动方程中,即可以起到消波的作用。
CFD中的线性弹簧模型可用于模拟水池试验中的水平系泊弹簧对两船模型的约束作用,可以在保证两船相对位置的同时避免对计算模型的6自由度运动产生较大影响。线性弹簧耦合使用可恢复平衡状态的弹力来连接两个船体。弹簧连接的两个端点处的作用力由胡克定律给出:
式中,ks是弹簧的刚度系数;rs=x1-x2x1x2分别是线性弹簧系统两端在同一坐标系下的坐标,f1x1处施加的力,f2x2处施加的力;req=leqrs/|rs|,leq是弹簧的松弛或平衡长度。线性弹簧系统模拟见图2
采用重叠网格方法,将计算域分为背景域和重叠区域,只需要船体周围有限的重叠网格区域进行运动,然后通过边界插值完成与外部整体计算域的数值信息交换,从而可以有效地求解各种大幅运动。
计算域布置如图3所示,其边界范围包括:速度入口边界(Inlet,离模型艏部约1.5Lpp)、压力出口边界(Outlet,模型尾部后约3Lpp)、侧对称面边界(Side_L,模型侧方约2.0Lpp)、上边界(Top,水线以上约0.6Lpp)和池底边界(Bottom,水线以下约1.5Lpp)。
计算域生成切割体网格(trimmed mesh),在船体壁面周围生成边界层网格,网格生成过程中对船首尾和两船间区域进行适当加密,如图4所示。船模表面附近网格和自由面附近网格根据波高和波长适当进行加密,根据网格尺寸计算域网格总量约600万。
为验证试验方法的可靠性以及数值计算方法的模拟精度,开展典型波长规则波(波高100 mm,周期1.5 s)中数值模拟计算,获得船体六自由度运动、两船间波浪时历和系泊缆拉力时历,完成与试验结果的对比分析。由于在数值计算中两船参数和边界条件完全相同,具有完全对称性,因此相关图中计算结果不区分左右船体(横)。
图5(a)为模型纵荡运动时历与试验结果的对比,船模及其系泊系统在顶浪规则波中除了有波频成分纵荡外,还有波浪作用下的系泊系统约束带来的低频纵荡衰减运动。对纵荡计算时历和纵荡试验时历曲线作FFT分析、带通滤波和低通滤波,分别得到纵荡幅值FFT频谱(图5(b))、纵荡波频运动时历(图5(c))和系泊系统低频运动时历(图5(d))。
图5(b)可知,计算得到的两船标模纵荡运动波频成分在频率上与试验结果基本吻合,其幅值略小于试验结果。系泊系统约束作用下的模型低频纵荡运动在频率上略微大于试验结果,其运动幅值的计算误差也大于波频纵荡运动。这是由于模型试验过程中,系泊系统的误差源较多,涉及到拉簧刚度的标定、系泊缆的配制、系泊系统的安装固定等众多因素,此外在数值模拟过程中,仅对系泊缆的作用点、松弛长度、弹簧刚度等进行了模拟,忽略了系泊系统重量的影响。总体而言,本方法对系泊约束下波浪中两船纵荡运动的计算具有较高精度。
在顶浪规则波中,由于两船的并靠,在两船间有限区域内会产生非线性的波浪干扰,两船内外侧波浪振幅不同,内外两侧不同的波浪力作用在船体上,导致在顶浪规则波中的船舶发生了横荡运动。图6为横荡运动计算与试验结果的对比,计算得到的横荡运动频率成分与试验值基本吻合,不过低频横荡运动幅值与试验结果的误差明显大于纵荡运动。考虑到两船横荡运动不是波浪直接作用的结果,其涉及到两船间干扰波系和系泊系统等因素的共同作用,因此可认为本方法对两船横荡运动具有足够的模拟精度。
图7图8分别为模型垂荡和纵摇运动时历曲线,其中计算得到的垂荡运动幅值略微小于试验结果,纵摇运动时历曲线与试验结果基本吻合。
图9可知,两船间水动力干扰导致船模出现具有包络特性的横摇运动,横摇运动幅值小于0.4°。计算得到的横摇运动时历在部分周期上与试验结果吻合良好,部分周期出现一定的误差。从运动幅值和包络特性上来看,数值计算总体上能够捕捉两船波系干扰下的横摇运动。
图10可知,数值计算得到的模型艏摇运动与试验结果的相对误差较为显著。这是由于在该工况下两船间波系干扰导致的艏摇运动幅值较小,另外艏摇运动受试验中两船模型系泊平衡状态下的平行度、系泊系统模拟精度等诸多因素影响。在这些限制条件下,很难保证模型艏摇运动的计算与试验结果具有较高的吻合度。
在数值计算中实时监测5个测点处的波高,测点位置与图1中模型试验布置方案一致,测点间的纵向间距均为0.25Lpp,不同测点处的波高与试验对比结果如表2所示。图11给出了不同测点处波高时历曲线,由图可知,计算得到的不同测点处波高时历总体上与试验结果吻合良好。仔细观察波高时历可以发现,各测点处波高时历幅值具有包络变化的特性。事实上,船体六自由度运动与两船间波系干扰具有耦合作用关系,两船间波系干扰是入射波在两船之间与船体辐射波叠加的结果。
图12为一个波浪周期内两船干扰自由面波形图,从图中看出,在WP2和WP4点处波面变化较大,WP3点处波面变化最小,与表2结果一致。
表2可知,在计算工况规则波中,两船中前0.25LPP处的波浪叠加最大,即1.1倍的入射波高,在两船船舯处波高反而最小,仅为约0.7倍入射波高。数值计算与试验结果的误差均小于3.5%,说明本方法对两船间波系干扰具有较高的计算精度。
两船标模的波浪干扰试验和数值计算均使用六自由度运动模型和4根系泊缆水平系泊的方式进行运动约束,系泊方案见图2图13给出了数值计算得到的4根系泊缆拉力时历与试验对比。模型试验开始之前,对4根系泊缆的预张力进行了清零,导致图中拉力出现负值。整体上看,本文建立的数值计算方法能够较为准确地预报系泊缆拉力大小和低频变化趋势。计算得到的L2缆和L4缆拉力的波频成分小于试验值,这与六自由度运动中计算得到的艏摇、横荡运动偏小的结论一致。
从4根系泊缆拉力的变化规律可以发现:对角系泊缆拉力特性的变化规律相近,方向相反。L1缆和L2缆拉力的均值相当,均接近0.2 N,L3缆和L4缆的均值相当,均接近-0.1 N,前后系泊缆拉力之差等于船体受到的二阶波浪漂移力。
本文针对波浪中两船并行水动力干扰问题,建立了水平系泊约束下两船波浪干扰数值模拟方法。以ITTC推荐标模为研究对象,开展了顶浪规则波中两船波浪干扰水池模型试验及典型工况两船标模波浪干扰数值计算。通过数值计算与模型试验的对比分析,得到以下主要结论:
(1)与六自由度运动试验时历结果相比,数值计算得到的波频纵荡、垂荡和纵摇运动吻合良好,这些运动受入射波浪直接作用;横摇运动具有显著的包络特性,数值计算仅能准确捕捉部分周期的横摇运动。这是由于横摇是两船间波浪干扰叠加激励产生的运动,数值模拟的误差传递降低了横摇运动的模拟精度。
(2)本方法对顶浪规则波中两船间波浪的计算具有较高精度,受系泊作用下船体低频运动的影响,两船间波面具有包络变化的特性,且包络频率与船体低频运动频率接近。
(3)数值计算能够较为准确地预报系泊缆拉力大小和整体变化趋势,系泊力的预报误差与船体纵荡、横荡、艏摇的运动误差具有明显的一致性,这是由于以纵荡、横荡、艏摇为主的船体六自由度运动是系泊系统实时耦合的结果。
