For ships with large outboard flare structures, severe slamming is likely to occur in rough sea conditions, resulting in short-duration slamming moment in the ship’s midship region with an amplitude comparable to the wave moment. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the dynamic ultimate strength of hull girder under slamming loads. This article focuses on a 5618 TEU container ship and proposes two models for calculating the dynamic ultimate strength of hull girder under slamming loads. Different forms of slamming loads are applied to study the resulting dynamic responses under dynamic loading. The B-H criterion is applied to determine the dynamic ultimate strength of hull girder. Based on the one-span model, the influences of load duration, material strain rate effect, preloading, and combination of high and low frequency bending moments on the dynamic ultimate strength of the hull girder were discussed, laying a solid foundation for the formulation of dynamic ultimate strength design criteria that has considered slamming bending moments.

大外飘船型在恶劣海况中容易发生剧烈的砰击,在船舯区域产生作用时间短且幅值与波浪弯矩相当的砰击弯矩,因此有必要进行砰击载荷作用下的船体梁动态极限强度的研究。本文以5618 TEU集装箱船为研究对象,提出了两种用于计算砰击载荷作用下船体梁动态极限强度的模型,施加了不同形式的砰击载荷,研究其在动态载荷作用下的动态响应,基于B-H准则确定了船体梁的动态极限强度。基于一跨模型,讨论了载荷持续时间、材料应变率效应、预加载、高低频弯矩组合对船体梁动态极限强度的影响,为制定考虑砰击弯矩的动态极限强度设计衡准打下了坚实的基础。

大外飘船型在恶劣海况中容易发生剧烈的砰击,在船舯区域产生作用时间短且幅值与波浪弯矩相当的砰击弯矩,因此有必要进行砰击载荷作用下的船体梁动态极限强度的研究。本文以5618 TEU集装箱船为研究对象,提出了两种用于计算砰击载荷作用下船体梁动态极限强度的模型,施加了不同形式的砰击载荷,研究其在动态载荷作用下的动态响应,基于B-H准则确定了船体梁的动态极限强度。基于一跨模型,讨论了载荷持续时间、材料应变率效应、预加载、高低频弯矩组合对船体梁动态极限强度的影响,为制定考虑砰击弯矩的动态极限强度设计衡准打下了坚实的基础。

For ships with large outboard flare structures, severe slamming is likely to occur in rough sea conditions, resulting in short-duration slamming moment in the ship’s midship region with an amplitude comparable to the wave moment. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the dynamic ultimate strength of hull girder under slamming loads. This article focuses on a 5618 TEU container ship and proposes two models for calculating the dynamic ultimate strength of hull girder under slamming loads. Different forms of slamming loads are applied to study the resulting dynamic responses under dynamic loading. The B-H criterion is applied to determine the dynamic ultimate strength of hull girder. Based on the one-span model, the influences of load duration, material strain rate effect, preloading, and combination of high and low frequency bending moments on the dynamic ultimate strength of the hull girder were discussed, laying a solid foundation for the formulation of dynamic ultimate strength design criteria that has considered slamming bending moments.

对于较大外飘的船型,因船体与波浪垂直冲击的面积较大,砰击现象尤为明显。巨大的砰击力将引发整个船体的剧烈颤振,船舯区域产生与波浪弯矩幅值相当的砰击弯矩,极大地威胁船体梁总纵强度。由于砰击弯矩具有作用时间短的特点,因此有必要开展船舶结构在动态载荷作用下的极限强度研究[1]
船体梁的动态失效通常源于船舯部甲板的屈曲破坏,因而研究者们均以动力屈曲准则作为动态极限强度的判定准则。在临界动力屈曲载荷的计算中使用最为广泛的是Budiansky-Hutchinson准则[2](简称B-Η准则)或Budiansky-Roth准则[3](简称B-R准则)。上述准则需要计算一系列的结构动力响应和载荷峰值,一旦发现微小的载荷峰值增量导致动力响应剧烈增加时,则当前的载荷峰值便是临界动力屈曲载荷。Yang等[1]建立了船舯三跨的有限元模型,根据B-H准则研究了在持续时间为10 ms的半正弦波弯矩作用下集装箱船的动态极限强度。余磊[4]建立了船舯舱室的有限元模型,根据B-R准则研究了在持续时间为0.28 s的砰击弯矩作用下船体梁的极限动态临界弯矩。Jagite等[5]建立了船舯两舱的有限元模型,将砰击弯矩简化为周期为1.8 s的半正弦波,分析了超大型集装箱船的动态极限强度。夏劲松等[6]建立了船舯舱室有限元模型,研究了持续时间为10 ms的砰击弯矩作用下船体梁的动态极限强度。Shi等[7]以简支的箱梁为研究对象,将动态载荷简化为半正弦波的弯矩,载荷持续时间选取为4 ms至25 ms,研究了不同载荷持续时间下的动态极限强度。由此可见,研究者们在计算砰击载荷作用下船体梁动态极限强度时,对于模型范围和载荷持续时间的选取尚不统一。然而,结构动力屈曲载荷对载荷持续时间颇为敏感[8-9],因此有必要深入进行船体梁动态极限强度的计算模型和载荷持续时间的研究。
本文以某集装箱船为研究对象,提出了两种用于计算砰击载荷作用下船体梁动态极限强度的模型和砰击载荷的形式,研究其在动态载荷作用下的动态响应,基于B-H准则,确定了船体梁的动态极限强度。在此基础上,讨论了载荷持续时间、材料应变率效应、预加载、简化弯矩对船体梁动态极限强度的影响。
砰击弯矩的本质是艏部受到短暂的激励后,激发船体梁的一阶模态所产生的惯性弯矩。为研究砰击载荷作用下船体梁的动态响应,需建立整船模型。由于船体结构复杂,为了精确地体现屈曲需要将网格划分得很细[10],这导致建模和计算的工作量都很大且效率低下。考虑到船体梁的屈曲通常发生在两个强框架之间,而其余部位主要用来传递船体的惯性力,因此,本文选取船舯处两个强框架之间的结构,采用壳单元建立细化模型,将其余部分简化为梁单元,如此构成了一个简化的梁-壳耦合模型,模型的边界条件为尾端施加固定约束、首端自由,如图1
有限元细化模型的纵向范围取1个横向强框架间距,横向范围取整个船宽,垂向范围取整个型深,模型取1个横向强框架之间的所有纵向连续构件、肋骨以及局部加强筋,但不包括横向框架结构。模型选用的网格为:纵骨间分6单元、腹板3单元、扶强材翼缘为梁单元,采用经验公式[11]来模拟初始几何缺陷。梁单元的截面为箱型截面,单元垂向抗弯刚度、质量分布与该集装箱船对应横截面的抗弯刚度、质量分布一致。自船舯向船艏延伸,延伸的部分采用梁单元进行建模(即艏延伸模型)。在细化模型的一个端面,通过Abaqus中的耦合约束,将端面处所有节点与延伸模型在该端面位置处的节点绑定在一起。为了减少边界条件对计算结果的影响,船舯向船尾方向也延伸出一段(即艉延伸模型),类似地,也采用耦合约束进行绑定。
本文以5618 TEU集装箱船为例,耦合模型纵向长度取为半船长,即143 m;细化模型区域为一跨长,即3 m;艉延伸模型的纵向延伸长度取半舱长,即15 m;艏延伸模型的纵向延伸长度为125 m,梁单元长度为1.5 m。材料采用双线性弹塑性材料模型[10],弹性模量E=206 GPa,泊松比ν=0.3,密度ρ=7800 kg/m3,屈服强度σs=355 MPa,屈服后硬化模量Eh=1000 MPa。
由于模型取一半的船长,故将其边界条件设为一端固支、一端自由。由模态分析得到该模型的一阶垂向振动频率为0.737 Hz,与实际集装箱船频率相同,一阶振型如图2所示。
砰击载荷以集中力的形式施加在艏部节点上。集中力由式(1)确定:
式中,F为集中力的幅值;M0为船体梁静态极限强度,由细化模型通过弧长法计算获得,本文M0=12.83 GN⋅m;η为选定的载荷比;L为艏延伸模型的纵向延伸长度,本文中为125 m;ft)为砰击载荷的形状函数,表征砰击载荷在时间上的分布。本文中选取了两种载荷,分别为实船压力载荷和线性上升-指数衰减型载荷。
(1)实船压力
本文根据实船艏部L/4范围内外板砰击压力合力的时历曲线,提取出形状函数,如图3所示。
(2)线性上升-指数衰减型压力
尽管实船压力更符合实际情况,但是由于砰击现象的不确定性,实船压力的形状函数并没有明确的表达式。实际中砰击压力的作用时间极短,作为船体响应的输入值,可近似将它当作冲量来处理。因此,只要压力幅值与持续时间接近实际情况,压力的形状函数并不重要[12]。鉴于砰击压力具有快速上升、达到峰值后逐渐衰减的特点,本文将砰击压力简化为线性上升-指数衰减的形式,其形状函数(如图4所示)为
式中,tr为上升时间,假定上升时间为1/2倍Ochi[13]公式预报的砰击持续时间,即,其中Lship为船长,td为砰击压力衰减时间,bc为衰减参数。衰减参数基于下列两个假定确定:
1)当t=tOchi时,砰击压力衰减为1/2倍的Pm
2)当t=10tOchi时,砰击压力衰减为0。
根据这两个假定,确定bc分别为0.9467和-0.2354。
图5给出了两种砰击载荷作用下的船舯细化模型端面(RP-2处,下同)的弯矩时程,可以看出在线性上升-指数衰减的载荷作用下,载荷作用时间内船舯处弯矩的周期为1.625 s,稍大于一阶垂向振动周期,载荷作用结束后船舯处弯矩的周期为1.357 s,与一阶振动周期一致。尽管实船压力载荷的持续时间较长,船舯处的砰击弯矩的周期仍然与一阶自振周期相关。在艏部砰击力的持续时间内,砰击弯矩表现为两个半正弦波的中垂弯矩,两个中垂弯矩峰值之间的时间间隔为1.210 s。当砰击力消失后,船体梁进行自由振动,砰击弯矩的周期接近一阶垂向振动周期。
图6给出了耦合模型中船舯端面的载荷位移曲线。可以看出无论哪种载荷,当弯矩峰值在静态极限强度附近时,位移载荷曲线的斜率迅速增大且远大于弹性阶段的斜率。根据B-H准则,上述实船压力载荷作用下的船体梁无量纲动态极限强度为0.993,而线性上升-指数衰减型压力作用下则为1.010,两种形式压力作用下的动态极限强度相差仅为1.7%,说明在计算砰击载荷作用下船体梁动态极限强度时,本文提出的线性上升-指数衰减型压力可以代替实际情况中的压力载荷进行动态极限强度计算。
本节所述一跨模型与1.1节中的细化模型相比,除边界条件外两者完全相同,因此,本节中只介绍一跨模型的边界条件。一跨模型两端建立相应的独立点,采用MPC将独立点与端面所有节点进行耦合,在独立点上进行位移边界条件及载荷的施加。边界条件为一端释放y向转角和z向转角,另一端释放x向位移和xyz向转角,其他方向固定。
根据1.2节中的图5可知,无论船体梁艏部受到怎样形式的砰击力,舯部舱段受到的弯矩总是正弦波的形状,且周期为船体梁一阶垂直振动周期。因此对于一跨模型,在计算砰击载荷作用下船体梁动态响应时,砰击弯矩可以简化为半正弦波的形式,砰击弯矩的持续时间取为1/2倍的船体梁一阶垂向振动周期,即0.678 s。故而在两端的独立点上施加由式(3)确定的弯矩。
式中,η为载荷比;M0为船体梁静态极限强度;Td为砰击弯矩的持续时间,本文取为0.678 s。
图7给出了一跨模型在不同峰值的砰击弯矩作用下的转角时程,载荷比较小时,转角时程与弯矩时程具有相同的形状,此时结构处于线弹性状态;当载荷比大于0.9时,在弯矩达到峰值前,转角存在一个迅速增大的阶段,转角在砰击弯矩达到最大值之后达到最大值,此时结构部分区域进入塑性。
图8给出了载荷比与无量纲转角峰值的曲线。可以看出,载荷比小于0.9时,转角峰值与载荷比呈线性关系;载荷比大于0.9时,转角峰值随着载荷比迅速增大;载荷比为1.0时,转角峰值略小于静态极限转角,无量纲转角峰值为0.967,此后,随着载荷的增大转角峰值剧烈增加;载荷比为1.001时,无量纲转角峰值为1.069;载荷比为1.002时,无量纲转角峰值为500.082。
图7~8,根据B-H准则以及Jagite[5]所提出的动态极限强度计算方法,可以很明确地得知,η=1.002时船体梁发生了动态屈曲。因此,船体梁在该持续时间下的无量纲动态极限强度为1.001。
比较耦合模型与一跨模型的计算结果,可以发现两者给出了近乎一致的结果,即砰击载荷作用下船体梁的动态极限强度接近静态极限强度。这是因为船体梁极限弯矩取决于横剖面上加筋板的极限强度,由于加筋板的一阶振动周期通常具有10−2 s量级,而砰击弯矩的周期是1 s量级。因此,砰击弯矩对于船体梁极限弯矩(实质是对加筋板)可简化为准静态载荷。
图9给出了一跨模型的动态极限强度所对应的应力云图,图10则为静态极限状态下的应力。对比两图可见,动态极限状态与静态极限状态相似,舱段上部舷侧均出现明显的屈曲。这进一步说明砰击载荷作用下船体梁动态极限强度与船体梁的静态极限强度一致。
在前文中,砰击弯矩的持续时间取为1/2倍的船体梁一阶垂向振动周期,即0.678 s,但是当艏部受到砰击压力的持续时间较长时,砰击弯矩的持续时间也会延长,如图5(a)所示。因此,本文还计算了持续时间为0.862 s时砰击弯矩作用下的动态响应。
图11给出了不同持续时间下的位移-载荷曲线。持续时间越长,相同载荷峰值下船体梁的响应也越大。图12给出了各种因素对船体梁动态极限强度的影响,其中,持续时间从0.678 s增加至0.862 s,船体梁动态极限强度仅减低0.1%。此结果表明,当动态弯矩的持续时间为秒级时,船体梁动态极限强度对弯矩持续时间不敏感。
在研究冲击问题时,通常需要考虑材料的应变率效应,砰击实质上也是水与船体梁结构的冲击问题,因此本文讨论了应变率效应对动态极限强度的影响。假设材料应变率效应服从Cowper-Symonds模型[14]
式中,为应变率,Cq为材料参数,C=3200 s−1q=5。
图13可知,材料的应变率效应将减小船体梁的转角峰值,根据本文准则,得到考虑应变率效应的无量纲动态极限强度为1.002。这说明,材料应变率效应将提高船体梁的动态极限强度,但是由于砰击弯矩的周期接近秒级,材料的应变率较低,应变率效应对动态极限强度的提升有限,考虑应变率效应后,船体梁动态极限强度仅提升0.1%。因此,在计算砰击载荷作用下的船体梁动态极限强度时,可以不考虑材料的应变率效应。
船体梁在受到砰击弯矩作用时,一般来说不会处于无应力状态。本文假设船体梁在受砰击弯矩前,承受了幅值为0.5倍静态极限强度状态下的静弯矩。同样地,选取一系列的砰击弯矩幅值,进行船体梁动态响应分析。此时,船体梁总弯矩为
式中,Mt为总弯矩;Ms为静弯矩,本文中取为0.5M0Mt)为砰击弯矩,由式(3)确定。
通过在动态分析步前增加静力分析步来实现船体梁的预加载,图14给出了预加载下的无量纲转角时程。与图7不同的是,总弯矩较低时,由于静弯矩的存在,砰击弯矩作用结束后的转角仍然很大。图15给出了预加载下的位移-载荷曲线,可以看出在弹性阶段,预加载对转角峰值的影响可以忽略不计,但当结构进入塑性后,预加载将略微提高转角峰值。由图12可知,预加载后船体梁动态极限强度相比未预加载时降低了0.1%,这是因为对于剖面上的加筋板来说,砰击弯矩可以简化为准静态载荷。因此,预加静载对于砰击载荷作用下的船体梁动态极限强度的影响可以忽略。
船舶在航行中,不可能仅受到砰击弯矩的作用,因此有必要考虑波浪弯矩与砰击弯矩组合作用下船体梁的动态极限强度。本文基于实船预报的非线性弯矩,通过傅里叶变换将其分解成低频的波浪弯矩和高频的砰击弯矩,并进行归一化得到弯矩的时间形状,如图16所示。将分解后的弯矩同时施加在一跨模型的两端,进行动态响应分析。
图17给出了实船弯矩下的位移-载荷曲线,可以看出,考虑了低频的波浪弯矩后,其无量纲动态极限强度从1.001降至0.993,仅降低了0.8%。因此,在校核计及砰击弯矩的总纵强度时,可以采用静态极限强度作为船体梁的极限承载力。
本文以5618 TEU集装箱船为研究对象,建立了梁-壳耦合模型和一跨模型,基于动力显式算法,研究了船体梁在不同砰击载荷作用下的动态响应。基于B-H准则,确定了船体梁的动态极限强度,并讨论了动态极限强度的影响因素,为制定考虑砰击弯矩的动态极限强度设计衡准打下了坚实的基础。所得结论如下:
(1)提出了一种模拟船体梁遭受砰击的有限元梁壳耦合模型,该模型不仅很好地模拟了船体梁遭受砰击后的动态响应,而且极大地节省了建模及分析的时间成本。
(2)采用一跨模型计算砰击载荷作用下船体梁动态响应时,砰击弯矩可以简化为正弦波的形式,砰击弯矩的周期取为船体梁一阶垂向振动周期。
(3)在砰击载荷作用下,梁壳耦合模型和一跨模型的动态极限强度与静态极限强度一致,船体梁动态极限强度可以简化为船体梁静态极限强度。
(4)砰击弯矩的持续时间、材料的应变率效应、预加静载和简化弯矩对动态极限强度的影响均较小,不足1.0%。
