A marine umbilical is usually bundled by different functional components, the mechanical properties of which are very different. Under the action of external load, unreasonable cross-sectional layouts may lead to large cross-sectional deformation and contact pressure between components, thus affecting the umbilical service life. Firstly, a method to realize the compactness of cross-section layout was given by minimizing the cross-section radius. The symmetry of cross-sectional layout was described by introducing virtual gravity index based on the tensile stiffness of components while a quantifiable index was proposed to describe the fatigue wear problem between vulnerable components like steel pipes. Then, the multi-objective optimization model of cross-section layout was established considering the above three objectives. The genetic algorithm was introduced to solve the optimization model and three representative cross-section layouts were automatically obtained. Finally, the numerical simulation was used to verify and evaluate the different cross-sectional layouts, and then the optimal cross-section layout design was obtained. The results show that the optimization method proposed in this paper can improve the ability of global optimization, which has certain guiding significance for the cross-sectional layout design of umbilicals.

海洋脐带缆通常由不同的功能构件捆绑而成,而这些功能构件的力学性能差异很大,在外载荷的作用下,不合理的截面布局可能会导致较大的截面变形和构件间的接触压力,从而影响脐带缆服役寿命。本文首先利用最小化截面半径给出截面布局紧凑性的实现方法,通过基于截面构件的拉伸刚度引入虚拟重力指标来描述截面布局的对称性,同时提出可量化的指标描述易损构件钢管之间的疲劳磨损问题。然后考虑上述三个目标建立截面布局多目标优化模型,并引入遗传算法对上述模型进行求解优化,自动得到三种具有代表性的截面优化布局。最后,通过数值模拟对不同截面优化布局进行验证与分析评价,进而得到最优截面布局设计。本文所提出的脐带缆截面布局设计优化方法可提高全局最优解搜索能力,对脐带缆结构设计具有一定的指导意义。

海洋脐带缆通常由不同的功能构件捆绑而成,而这些功能构件的力学性能差异很大,在外载荷的作用下,不合理的截面布局可能会导致较大的截面变形和构件间的接触压力,从而影响脐带缆服役寿命。本文首先利用最小化截面半径给出截面布局紧凑性的实现方法,通过基于截面构件的拉伸刚度引入虚拟重力指标来描述截面布局的对称性,同时提出可量化的指标描述易损构件钢管之间的疲劳磨损问题。然后考虑上述三个目标建立截面布局多目标优化模型,并引入遗传算法对上述模型进行求解优化,自动得到三种具有代表性的截面优化布局。最后,通过数值模拟对不同截面优化布局进行验证与分析评价,进而得到最优截面布局设计。本文所提出的脐带缆截面布局设计优化方法可提高全局最优解搜索能力,对脐带缆结构设计具有一定的指导意义。

Under the action of external load, unreasonable cross-sectional layouts may lead to large cross-sectional deformation and contact pressure between components, thus affecting the umbilical service life. Firstly, a method to realize the compactness of cross-section layout was given by minimizing the cross-section radius. The symmetry of cross-sectional layout was described by introducing virtual gravity index based on the tensile stiffness of components while a quantifiable index was proposed to describe the fatigue wear problem between vulnerable components like steel pipes. Then, the multi-objective optimization model of cross-section layout was established considering the above three objectives. The genetic algorithm was introduced to solve the optimization model and three representative cross-section layouts were automatically obtained. Finally, the numerical simulation was used to verify and evaluate the different cross-sectional layouts, and then the optimal cross-section layout design was obtained. The results show that the optimization method proposed in this paper can improve the ability of global optimization, which has certain guiding significance for the cross-sectional layout design of umbilicals.

脐带缆作为海洋工程高端装备之一,其将上部浮体主生产控制平台和水下生产系统装备连接起来,为水下管汇系统和采油树提供电气液压动力、控制数据信号传输和化学药剂注入通道[1]。海洋工程常用的脐带缆往往是由功能构件如电缆、光缆、液压管道(钢管或热塑性管道)和其它填充构件构成结构内核,外加护套层和加强构件(抗拉铠装层)组装而成的集束缆线,如图1所示。由于波浪流的作用脐带缆往往经受着严酷的海洋环境考验,其结构的安全与否直接关系到整个系统的正常运作。
针对脐带缆内核结构特征,Yue[2]提出了基于曲梁理论计算脐带缆截面拉伸刚度的理论方法,将计算结果与拉伸试验结果进行了比较,验证了考虑截面径向收缩的理论方法的有效性;Sævik[3]假设当脐带缆发生弯曲行为时,螺旋构件仅发生轴向变形而无侧向位移,提出了一种基于斜航线滑动路径的脐带缆弯曲刚度和应力计算方法;Gustavsen[4]分析了脐带缆在传输电能时,其热、电、磁分布和损耗特性,表明热释放引起的高温会导致材料老化。随着油气开发水深的不断增加,开采规模不断扩大,脐带缆中各种功能构件不断增多,呈现高度集成的结构特征。截面内核构件的排布形式直接影响着脐带缆的结构力学性能。因此,对于功能构件种类与数目繁多的脐带缆,为了有效地抵抗环境荷载、工作荷载以及意外荷载,如何合理设计截面布局是脐带缆设计流程中的重要问题。
脐带缆截面布局设计过程可以看作是多个具有不同性质的构件在一个平面包络圆边界内的Packing问题。针对二维不等圆Packing问题,黄文奇[5]将拟物算法与禁忌搜索相结合,辅以跳离局部陷阱的全局变换策略,开发了全局变换禁忌搜索算法;王英聪[6]分析了等圆Packing问题的位置选择特性,引入群智能劳动分工中的刺激-响应原理并设计了自适应阈值调整策略;Li[7]等提出了基于知识的启发式粒子群优化方法(KHPOSA)及其调整策略来解决圆包装布局问题。数值分析表明,KHPSOA算法在性能上优于现有算法。王正理[[8]]分别针对容器内小圆数目不超过320的小规模以及超过320的大规模等圆Packing问题分别提出了拟人拟物算法和基于变批次随机优化的算法进行优化设计,效果良好。
关于脐带缆截面布局问题,现有的脐带缆设计相关规范[9-10]中只是简单地要求各类构件的排布尽可能对称紧凑,但是缺乏详细的可实施操作方法。卢青针[11]等人针对该问题研究了不同截面布局下脐带缆的力学性能,通过功能构件截面刚度提取构件无量纲参量,并据此提出了截面布局几何对称可量化简易操作方法;肖能[12]通过对脐带缆内部钢管进行应力分析获得最终设计的脐带缆截面布局,然后基于有限元软件对其进行截面力学性能分析;马国君[13]基于多学科优化方法在截面布局紧凑性和对称性的基础上考虑了脐带缆在位运行时所产生的温度场对脐带缆力学性能的影响,给出截面最优布局设计;杨志勋[14]考虑到脐带缆截面的紧凑性、对称性、平衡性和热分布特性,给出了便于操作的可量化数学描述,提出了基于PSO算法的多学科优化框架,实现了脐带缆截面布局设计,并通过算例进行了验证,但是该研究内容缺乏对脐带缆内部易损构件相互作用因素的考虑。此外,脐带缆在位运行过程中,不合理的布局设置将会导致内部易损构件(钢管)摩擦应力增大,相互之间疲劳磨损加快,降低脐带缆的使用寿命。可见,脐带缆截面布局设计需要同时考虑几何、力学性能和疲劳磨损等因素,涉及多种量化考核指标,为典型的多目标优化问题。目前学者们解决多目标结构优化问题往往付诸于智能算法[15]。遗传算法是模拟生物进化机制而形成的全局概率优化算法[16],其稳定性好,不易受到外界环境变化的影响,是一种高度并行、随机和自适应能力很强的智能搜索算法。
综上分析,目前的研究主要集中在具有一定截面布局的脐带缆的计算分析上,对脐带缆截面布局优化设计以提高脐带缆结构的力学相关性能的研究尚不充分。本文首先考虑截面布局紧凑、受力平衡性以及钢管相互作用因素建立脐带缆截面布局设计的优化模型,进而考虑上述多个目标引入遗传算法针对包含等径构件的截面进行布局优化,并通过有限元数值模拟对布局进行分析与评价。
脐带缆截面布局问题是在给定功能构件的种类和数量前提下满足几何和力学性能要求的优化过程。为此,有必要建立该优化问题的数学模型,进而在此模型基础上开发优化算法,从而获得脐带缆截面最优布局形式。考虑到实际脐带缆截面的复杂多样性,本文作以下假设,以便建立相应的优化模型。
(1)考虑实际脐带缆中各种功能构件的截面直径相差不大,因此,假定各功能构件截面直径相同。
(2)脐带缆截面在承受外力作用时,内部功能构件由于相互作用而产生变形。但是其对脐带缆截面布局设计影响甚微,所以,该因素在优化模型建立过程中不作考虑。
(3)为了方便验证本文所提优化设计方法的有效性,忽略圆形或不规则填充对脐带缆截面布局设计的影响。而且,考虑到光缆和电缆在结构力学性能上具有相似的特性,所以可将光缆模拟为电缆。因此,截面布局设计优化算法中仅考虑液压管(钢管或软管)和电缆。
脐带缆的实际横截面布局可简化为图2中的示意图。首先,选取脐带缆平面内任一点为中心建立一个直角坐标系,那么脐带缆截面布局优化问题就可转化为以构件中心位置坐标为连续设计变量的优化问题。假设脐带缆包含m根半径为RS的钢管和n根半径为RQ的电缆,如图2所示。基于所设定的坐标系,钢管和电缆截面的中心位置可分别描述为,同时,所有的功能构件被包络在一个半径为R的包络圆内。在截面布局优化设计过程中,内部功能构件的中心位置不断变化直到找到与脐带缆截面几何和力学性能同时最佳时对应的位置。
(1)紧凑性
脐带缆设计规范要求截面布局设计应尽可能紧凑,这要求横截面的半径应最小化。这种截面紧凑的脐带缆布局可以有效提高其径向刚度,从而促进抗拉强度,增强其在恶劣海洋环境下的抗极限载荷能力,同时可以降低加工制造成本。因此,优化目标函数f1可描述为
(2)平衡对称性
脐带缆在位运行过程中,其顶端与浮体连接处通常要承受高达数十吨的拉伸张力,为保证截面受力时响应的均匀性和对称性,脐带缆截面构件应尽可能地对称排布。本文基于截面构件的轴向拉伸刚度引入虚拟重力指标来描述截面布局的对称性。轴向拉伸刚度和虚拟重力指标的关系如式(2)所示,其方向竖直向下,大小代表构件截面抵抗荷载能力。一般来说,钢管的拉伸刚度较大,电缆较小。
式中,E为弹性模量,A为截面面积。
给定某一脐带缆的截面布局形式,各构件的虚拟重力将在截面形成平行力系。而脐带缆截面承载能力的平衡性取决于平行力系中心到截面几何中心的距离Δ,如图3所示,其表达式如式(3)所示。假设脐带缆的力学性能MB与偏离距离之间的关系如式(4)所示,相互之间呈现反相关规律。
式中,ξB为力学性能的相关系数,为第i根钢管的虚拟重力向量,为第j根电缆的虚拟重力向量。
对于脐带缆的不同截面布局形式,承载平衡中心偏离距离不尽相同。当截面布局不均衡时,Δ≠0,此时,如截面承受弯矩和扭矩,弯曲中性面和扭转中心会偏移;当截面布局均衡时,Δ=0,此时弯曲中性面和扭转中心均通过截面形心。因此,当截面布局的平衡性能较好时,截面抵抗弯曲、扭转载荷的能力也均有提高,脐带缆的力学性能更优,在使用寿命期间内的损坏概率也可有效降低。因此,优化目标函数f2可定义为
(3)疲劳磨损
此外,脐带缆在位运行和安装敷设过程中,内部钢管往往在弯曲变形过程中会发生相对滑动,从而引起磨损疲劳,因此,脐带缆的截面布局应尽可能避免钢管之间相互接触。假定由钢管相互接触引起的力学损伤量Df可描述为式(6)所示,其为任意两钢管之间距离的函数表达式:
式中,ψf为力学性能的相关系数;ft)=1+e-0.001t是非线性递减函数,其可以将两钢管之间的距离转换为递减趋势的表达式,其含义为当钢管之间距离较大时Df呈现减小规律。从而将易损钢管构件接触问题转换为优化目标最小化的需求,因此,优化目标函数f3可定义为
脐带缆的截面布局设计为典型的工程设计问题,往往要求同时满足多个性能要求。而多目标优化问题的最优解非所有目标同时达到最优的情况,通常为综合考虑所有目标的某种折衷的解决方案。为了获得紧凑、平衡和低磨损的截面布局,可通过加权系数将脐带缆截面布局多目标优化问题转化为单目标优化问题[17],如式(8)所示。
式中,f为需要最小化的目标函数,以兼顾不同的目标获得最优的截面布局设计;c1c2c3为对应多个目标的归一化权重系数,且c1+c2+c3 = 1;为经过无量纲化处理后的子目标函数。
在截面布局设计的过程中,所有功能构件均布置在脐带缆截面的包络圆中,同时确保所有功能构件不相互重叠。因此,各个功能构件中心坐标变量所受到约束条件可表示为
考虑前述脐带缆截面布局需要优化的目标函数和约束条件的数学描述,同时根据前述假定,设RS = RQ = r;根据实际工程经验,这三个优化目标重要性相当,因此取其权重系数相等,即c1 = c2 = c3 = 1/3,则优化列式可表示为
多目标优化目前已经被广泛地应用在科学研究和工程设计领域,为求解这类问题相关学者提出了大量的优化算法[15-16]。由于构件截面布局的复杂性和优化目标的多样性,本文引入具有全局寻优能力的遗传算法(Genetic Algorithm,GA)来解决脐带缆截面布局设计问题。GA具有群体搜索的特性,可避免由于传统算法的单点搜索方法在多峰分布空间进行搜索时很容易陷入局部最优解的缺陷,因而具有较好的并行性和全局搜索性[18]
GA最先是针对无约束优化问题提出的,在处理脐带缆截面布局这种存在约束的优化问题时需要将约束条件进行处理,进而配合GA进行求解。本文采用惩罚函数法处理约束条件[19],惩罚函数的一般表现形式为
式中,fX)为原优化问题的目标函数,ri为惩罚系数,GiX)为第i个不等式约束违反度函数,giX)为第i个不等式约束条件。
罚函数主要是用来调整目标函数和约束条件的。如果X是可行解,则对任意的X,都有GiX)=0,这时PX)=fX);当X是非可行解时,式(13)的值越大,惩罚函数PX)值也就越大。对约束条件处理完成后,可代入遗传算法中进行迭代计算。
基于生物遗传理论和自然选择思想,GA以随机产生的一组初始种群开始进行自适应随机迭代搜索。通过对种群个体进行编码、评估、选择、交叉和变异等一系列遗传操作产生新一代的种群个体,如此经过不断迭代更新逐步收敛到最优解。将GA应用到上述优化模型中进行求解可得到算法流程,如图4所示。
为了验证本算法的正确性,本文以一条包含7根电缆和6根钢管的脐带缆为例进行截面布局设计。功能构件如图5所示,各构件的基本尺寸和虚拟重力参数见表1
将各个构件的基本参数和位置的初始坐标输入相应的数组中,通过迭代计算可得到综合考虑紧凑性、受力平衡性和低磨损三个目标的多个可行解,从中选取三种具有代表性的截面优化布局形式,如图6所示。提取对应截面优化布局的最小包络圆半径、虚拟重心偏移距离以及钢管接触点个数,如表2所示,据此对优化布局进行比较分析。
表2可以看出,三种截面布局的截面半径均为84.7212 mm,均有较好的紧凑性能。与布局2相比,布局1和布局3的重心偏移距离较大,承载平衡性能较差,且不具有较高水平的对称性。同时布局1和布局3钢管磨损概率较大,这将导致钢管构件之间的疲劳磨损增加,会降低脐带缆的疲劳寿命。综上,布局2具有较好的紧凑性、对称平衡性以及抗疲劳性能,为最优截面布局形式。
在对脐带缆进行结构强度分析时,由于截面构件之间存在大量的摩擦和接触,无法应用理论方法进行高效准确的求解,目前可以采用有限元数值模拟的方法对脐带缆结构的力学性能进行分析评估[20-21]。为了验证上述优化算法的有效性,可以通过数值模拟分析结果来比较脐带缆不同截面布局之间的力学性能差异。此外,本文提出2条评价截面力学性能的指标,分别是:
(1)脐带缆截面需保证一定的刚度,因此其变形不能过大;
(2)脐带缆在位工作时,经常需承受波浪等动荷载作用,在动荷载作用下,脐带缆各构件尤其是钢管之间会发生摩擦或磨损,过大的摩擦或磨损可能会引发脐带缆的疲劳失效。因此需要分析截面构件钢管单元间的相互接触压力。
基于有限元软件可方便建立截面的参数化模型,将通过遗传算法优化后得到的截面布局结果转化为真实脐带缆截面模型,为了简化计算过程并且提高效率,可以将构件进行适当简化。所有钢管构件均由超级双相钢制成,电缆构件可以简化为采用高密度聚乙烯材料填充成的铜质截面。截面构件之间的填充构件和内外护套的材料均设置为高密度聚乙烯。划分网格时,在对填充物等不规则结构进行网格划分时主要使用进阶算法(Advancing Front)且单元类型选择为三角形单元;对钢管等圆形构件进行网格划分时主要使用中性轴算法(Medial Axis),且单元类型选择四边形单元。上述三种截面布局最终网格划分数量分别为34596、34324和34768。由于各构件之间存在接触和摩擦,所以需要在有限元模型中合理设置构件之间的相互作用来模拟真实的状态。构件之间所有的接触都属于柔性体之间的面-面接触。在环境载荷和浮体的作用下,脐带缆在运行期间将承受较大的拉力和反复弯曲载荷。钢丝铠装将对内护套产生径向压力,对上述两个横截面施加相同的5 MPa径向均匀压力。三种脐带缆截面的有限元模型如图7所示。最后对上述布局形式进行静力学仿真分析。
(1)截面变形的比较
截面布局的紧凑性可以通过径向变形量的大小来判断。越紧凑的布局,截面半径越小,在受到相同的径向压力时,径向收缩量也就越小。三种布局形式在径向荷载下的位移云图如图8所示,提取边界位移数据,可得截面径向位移缩小规律,如图9所示。进而提取位移平均值结果,如表3所示,并以布局2为标准进行比较分析。
(2)钢管间接触压力的比较
钢管之间的磨损将直接影响脐带缆的疲劳寿命。本文1.2节中通过数学函数描述了疲劳磨损,为验证该模型的有效性,可通过数值模拟钢管之间的接触压力来进行判断,接触压力越大,疲劳磨损越严重,脐带缆的疲劳寿命也会随之降低。三种截面布局的接触压力结果如图10所示,并以布局2为标准对比结果,如表4所示。
表3表4可知,在相同径向压力作用下,布局2的平均径向位移相比于布局1的位移增加0.00 298 mm,相比于布局3减少了0.002 286 mm。布局2的钢管间最大接触压力相比于布局1的接触压力减少了17.3372 MPa,相比于布局3减少了37.6592 MPa,该结果验证了脐带缆截面半径越小,即越紧凑,径向变形越小,同时也验证了本文所提出的降低钢管疲劳磨损模型的有效性。此外,布局2具有较好的承载平衡性来抵抗截面载荷。将算法结果与数值仿真结果无量纲化处理后进行对比,如图11所示。从结果来看,截面布局2均为最优布局形式,二者结果一致,验证了本文所提出的优化算法的正确性。
脐带缆通常由不同的功能构件捆绑而成,而这些功能构件的力学性能差异很大,在外载荷的作用下,不合理的截面布局可能会导致较大的截面变形和构件间的接触压力从而影响脐带缆服役寿命。针对脐带缆截面布局问题,本文首先建立该优化问题的数学模型,以实现脐带缆截面布局的紧凑性、对称性以及低疲劳磨损,并在该模型基础上引入遗传算法进行优化,然后以一根包含7根电缆和6根钢管的脐带缆为例,自动获得了三种具有代表性的脐带缆截面布局形式。并且通过有限元数值仿真结果与算法结果进行对比分析,二者数据具有明显一致性,验证了本文所提出的基于遗传算法的脐带缆截面布局多目标优化方法的有效性和可行性。该优化设计方法可代替人工设计,避免依赖长期经验进行设计的不确定性,可为脐带缆截面布局设计提供指导和参考,具有一定的工程应用价值。
